Cuidado bloggers: I haven't heard from some of you, are you re-upping for Amor?

Hi,
It may be my mail program or I may be spacing out, but I need to re-check the coverage for the upcoming 8pm show. So far I have:

Chris Ferro and Cathy: both want Friday (can either of you switch so we have more coverage?)

Maggie: would like Monday if Jody leaves or can switch days

I haven't heard from Jody, Julia, or Gloria. Please check in!

Anybody else want to throw a hat into the ring? We can always use new recappers as subs if there isn't a regular spot...

    Melinama -- I'll send you an email about this as well.

    I will not be continuing on with Nombre de Amor when Cuidado ends, so if Maggie wants to take over Monday recaps, she may do so.

    I'll stick with it. I can change days if someone else wants Tuesdays, or just stay with my same schedule.

    A huge thanks to everyone who will recap Amor for us. If my Spanish weren't so terrible (even with all the novelas I watch), I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm a writer, for heaven's sake! LOL

    But I also have sense enough to know when I'll be a disaster. So thanks to you all. I don't know what we'd do without you.

    Honestly, though, I have problems with memory and retaining new knowledge. What I learn just doesn't "stay." It's been that way for a while. But I'm working on it.

    One day I do hope to feel comfortable recapping. I would enjoy that tremendously. *fingers crossed*

    I just want to reiterate how recapping has helped me improve my Spanish. Yes, it was very slow at first, now it's much faster. The other day, I translated the synopsis of the new show. I was amazed at how fast I was able to do it. Three years ago, I would have been struggling miserably. So, Stephe, really, you might want to give it a try. It's repetition and time that does the trick with memory. Of course, you really need closed captions too!
