Mon the 17, mark your calendar, today Sara took control.

Command decision, bring in the girls to both the secret and workforce.

Then after just having warned her new soldiers that while they can still quit now, if they don't leave now, they can never leave the Jaliscos, she informs Elio that they will move $150,000 get her 10%, and then set up a new life away from all this.
"But, dear, I'm not sure that's such" "We will move the money and retire."

"And, no, we are not getting married, I've got a reputation to build and the steel lady is just a wee bit more intimidating than the flower girl, thank you very much."

Sara is definitely un control. Good episode, but I hate the new Salvador. Also, I'm perfectly happy to see Josefina become a pistol packing bad a-- . Felipe should be her first target.

wow, 3 years of stuffing money into mannequins, and my how you have changed Salvador, and where is Pepito, and is that giant mansion Sara's home, surrounded by small marijuana farms.

but now Tuercas is tipping Cortez.

  4. Senora Acero,

After 3 years the only things that changed were Salvador and the house Sara lived in. In fact, I'm surprised she didn't live a more modest lifestyle and instead send the money to her Mother for Salvador.

And Cornelia was still asking Aracely about the AA guy she was dating. Most people would have moved past the relationship years ago. And Miriam is still dating meatpie without realizing his connection to Arnulfo? No guilt on his part. With the money and connections the cartel has in LA they could have paid someone to kidnap Pepito.

I'm guessing that the new salvador, who has a little of Pepito's toughness, may become involved in things the other Salvador couldn't.

spanish student: I had the same thought about the newer, badder Salvador. I almost wonder if he, Pepito and ARnulfo will cross paths.

I am not an Empanada fan and can't believe that after 3 years he hasn't slipped once and given himself away as being part of the plan to kidnap Pepito.

I too am wondering why Pepito and Salvador haven't started their own kiddy cartel, could they be good kids?

when Señora Acero was doing her Godfather thing in her mansion with the poor neighborhood marijuana farmers, I was waiting for her to start mumbling like Marlon Brando.

  7. In that biz, with those enemies knowing exactly who the are, how are they not dead, or at least not in hiding?

  8. I, too, am disappointed about the new Salvador. The
other one was one of my favorite things about the novela. It's too bad that kids have to lose that
wonderful sweetness as they grow older. AnonGringa

ah, the older Salvador is played by Patricio Sebastián,

  10. Señora Acero-Tuesday
Well, thanks to Tuerco, Bertha, Felipe and Cortez Sara has been captured and sentenced to 15 years in a Tijuana prison. Quintanilla's lawyer wasn't much help, was he?

Salvador continues to show his butt.

Elio and Cortez have a fight but I missed most of what was said. Elio swore on his dead daughter that Cortez would pay (or something like that.)

    Indio ate some onions.

Cornelia and the girls get ready to cover their butts.

And the maid (was it Rosalinda?) is pregnant and Felipe didn't look too happy about it.

Sara- you write such wonderful little summaries!

as usual the logic here is a bit hard to figure, why didn't Indio just take the truck with $150 million in it, I guess he would rather work for his money, he looked relieved to get his onions, and everyone else left the room.

ah yes the Cinderella dream of every maid, to become the new patrona, well, Josefina warned her, but she did hear Felipe jumping on Josefina for not giving him a child, Berta was amused.

Thanks, deb. I hope you didn't mind. I just want to keep the conversation going because I like this show so much. It was really a selfish gesture. ;-)

I really feel like a missed a lot of last night's episode though. I really have a hard time understanding Indio Amaro.

And now that you've pointed it out, I totally missed how stupid it was for them to grab Sara and not the cash (interesting hiding place for that.)

    Sara- not at all

when I got a chance to watch it again with english captions (like last week) I liked adding the little things I noticed, but all of my online sources have dried up.

are we supposed to feel sorry for Sara, her mean face cracks me up, and I like it when she goes all wild woman.

  14. Señora Acero
Blanca is not subtle lol. I feel most sorry for Aracely.

  15. Ms. Blanco had better stop squishing up her nose like
that or she's going to get early wrinkles. She'a so
beautiful that would be a shame. AnonGringa

  16. Sara, I agree about Aracelly. I want her to find happiness. AnonGringa

Josephina should be transformed into a real match for her husband and sister who treat her like trash. It would be nice if she used their secrets against them and also kept the secret of Salvador being alive. She could live with her Mom and then give the reporter the story he really wants.

I'm really wondering where the reporter fits in to all this. I feel like he doesn't trust Berta or Felipe which in my book makes him a nice guy.

  20. TELEMUNDO...

I think is going to broadcast Obama's speech tonight, live at 8 eastern, I don't know how this will affect the schedule.

"Tierra de Reyes" is being advertised as being shown in "Los Miserables" time slot, which I guess will move earlier, character descriptions can be found here,

ah, Joaquín Garrido, is in this,
(our big hatted villain Arnulfo from "Camelia la Texana")

Sara, the reporter seems to be pretty sharp when it comes to the self-serving agendas of Felipe and Berta. I think he was present once when Sara and Berta were arguing and thus knows that there are 2 sides to the story.

    Los Miserables

It appears that Lucia will finally meet her fate this week. Nuria provided a necessary clue for Lily, and Octavio and Vicky have finally found the phone. My guess is that Lily will use Oleg's interest in Lucia against her, to incriminate her. Oleg may want to help Lucia but if she places Genaro at the scene of the crime it would be a major conflict of interest, unless he decides to get rid of him too.

these previews at the end of each segment on the next segment, I can live without that. Telemundo seems to be on a roll when it comes to annoying people.

I'm all caught up and all I can say is someone please, PLEASE give Josefina a gun and tell her to shoot Felipe.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Señora Acero

at least Indio stuffed an onion in his mouth!

how long before Josefina tips someone on Salvador?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Señora Acero
I'm hoping she won't. I feel so bad for her. Everyone always dumps on her. I did like Felipe slapping the tar out of Berta!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Deb, I agree about the previews. I would prefer to have
more time devoted to the story. AnonGringa

  27. Señora Acero

was that Enriqueta sneaking out of the floor drains?

Josefina gave away Sara's move to Guadalajara which led to a hit man being sent after her and later losing the 3 million her Ex left buried for her, and now if Felipe starts being nice to Josefina, ut oh, I'm with Elio, except they should leave Josefina there while everyone else moves.

Jaoquin sure is cute, compared to Miriam's string of (good sex) losers, Rufino is still a little rough around the edges.

and who are these new DEA guys, "I'll do it if I can leave Mexico for ever".

I hope those are vidalia onions that Indio eats.

Variopinta- I remember in one show Indio was yelling at his guy for not marinating the onions right because he doesn't want his breath to smell.

also, are you aware of this site, where every Thursday they post the Miami film permits that were issued.

    Must disgusting shower scene ever!!!

But Alberto Agnesi is on the scene and I am happy.

So, I must be a terrible person, because I don't want Sara to rat out Quintanilla as Elio has suggested.

  33. I haven't been able to find out what TN Teleundo filed at the Bonnet House in Ft Lauderdale. They filmed about 10 hours one day. It is a beautiful place built in the 20's
