Yo No Creo En Los Hombres #81 Tue 11/3/15: The Truth About Isela

·        Josefa warns Ari not to stick his nose in and begin causing problems for her and Maleny.  They’ve got plans and he’s not part of ‘em.  But, if he lends them a hand in screwing over Claudio Bustamonte, she’ll return the favor with his venganza against Orlando.

·         

·        At Doris confirms that Alma is sick with the big C and that Isela’s dumped Clod. Orly doesn’t believe it cuz he secretly knows Ise’s affair is part of her venganza against Clod.  He plans to intervene again, because from what he knows about the old guy, he doesn’t deserve any of what Hosie and Co. have planned for him, much less his wife and his buddy Leo.

·         

·        While Max waits for Mama during her PET scan, Maria Dolores and Ise argue over each other’s lack of morals and big mouths and even bigger lies.  MD should have kept her trap shut and Ise should ‘a kept the space between her legs shut.  Any who,  Ise admits she’s called it quits with Clod and MD stands her ground stating Max had the right to know and to be there for his mother.

·         

·        Mal and Mama discuss the best way to put the squeeze play on Clod to insure DannyBoy’s new jailhouse BFF gets freed is to threaten Clod with telling his  “now dying” wife about the affair he’s been having right under her nose.  Gurrrsula is drop-the-honey-dripping-beehive impactada.

·         

·        There’s a PSA discussion amongst Esperanza, Doris, Leo and Clara about beaten and abused children.  Doris admits to being mentally abused by her mama.   Espy comes to think that the way Hosie has treated Ise all her life it’s as if Ise wasn’t her kin at all.  She plans to ask Honoria about that.

·         

·        Clod brings Ise back to the barrio for a chat with Hosie,  He confronts her with child abuse.  Hosie admits it and says, “—So what?”  She’s got her rights…..blah, blah, biggity, blah. 

·         

·        Meanwhile, Orly takes Ise to his apartment (in front of Ari’s spying eyes) to convince her to leave off the venganza now that Alma’s dying.  Ise’s pissed at MD’s big mouth AHHH-gain.  She confesses that she has broken it off with Clod cuz she realizes she’s now in love with him and because of the pity she feels for Alma’s condition.

·         

·        Ari runs into Clod and eggs him on telling him his little lover was just seen heading for Orly’s love nest with him.  Orly tries convincing Ise that it’s time to let bygones be bygones now that Alma’s dying.  Ise says her venganza is over cuz she’s soooo in luhhhv with the old fart. Leaving him is now her self-imposed punishment.  Clod confronts Orly just then at the garage apartment when he sees Ise is there also.  Orly and Ise try convincing Clod that she’s just admitted she’s in love with Clod, not him, and he’s told her he’s with Doris now.  No harm no foul where Orly’s concerned.  Clod’s not so sure.  He snorts at Orly on his way out with Ise.

·         

·        Espy tells her suspicions about Isa’s background to Doris (I think).  Ari shows up with a check from Doris paying off Orly’s debt about the car and then gives Orly grief about being a “kept man”.  Orly gives Doris grief about treating him like a child with stuff like that and they kiss over her apology for caring so much about others.  She admits she took out a loan from her nanny Chelito to help Orly out.

·         

·        Max, Alma and MD stop at the church after the PETscan and they tell the padre that she’s got pancreatic cancer.  They all agree on a New Year’s wedding to please Alma.   Next they stop at MD’s house when Orly stops by.  Max and Alma apologize to him for misjudging him and accusing him of attacking Ise.

·         

·        After seeing Alma and Max off, Hosie blocks MD’s way to the stairs and confronts her.  Hosie mentions how she found out about Alma’s cancer condition by nosing around the house and Alma’s personal papers and then found the medical report and the test results.  Hosie threatens to make the sick woman’s last days grief-filled and anxiety-ridden if MD doesn’t stick her nose out of Ise and her bidnez threatening to tell Alma and Max about the affair.  If not, screeches the slatternly bully bitch, “--That gal won’t die of any cancer but from pure rage instead!”  With that MarDi delivers a slap upside Hosie’s head with a crack heard all the way to the street and around the fricking corner.  (Yahoo!)

·        Clod wants the truth from Ise about why MarDi’s kept quiet about their affair.  Ise tells him to ask her himself if he needs to know so badly.  He then gets on his knees and tells her that she cannot leave him with such an emotional and physical hard-on for her after the sacrifice he’s made to be with her, near her, etc., etc., all the family issues and legal issues, yadda, yadda, yadda……

·         

·        At the same time, Espy and MD discuss Hosie’s reason for wanting Ise to sleep with Clod and to get so cozy with Alma if it’s not for money.  Espy and MD figure there’s got to be a way to stop Hosie from threatening everybody all the time.  Espy mentions her suspicions about Honoria knowing something and that it might have to do with Ise not really being her daughter, considering the way she’s always acted towards Ise.  She decides she’s going to pay Honoria a visit and ask her point blank what she knows that’s stopped Hosie in her steps before.  She suggests that MD ask Orly the same thing: what do they know about this business with the Bustamonte’s. 

·         

·        When Orly and Doris come back to MD’s place for a chat together, MD and they discuss Ise’s relationship with Clod.  Orly says discuss the scene in front of Clod earlier and Orly says she really is in love with the old guy despite having ended their relationship. 

·        A bit later on, Espy stops in for coffee with Honoria and Julian.  Espy broaches the strange relationship Hosie’s had with her daughter and this business with pushing Ise on Clod.  Honoria speaks without thinking about how years ago Hosefa had to take charge of this little girl.  Honoria had complained to Hosefa about how she would have sold her little girl they entrusted to her, working like a whore…--“ Espy stops Honoria there and then.  “—what do you mean ‘they entrusted her with?’  Juli steps in and explains despite his mother’s weak protests.  “—Josefa is not Isela’s mother.”  Espy sits there saucer-eyed impactada.
