Corazon Indomable :146 - Scandals, Vengeance and Jealousy: It’s a busy day in C.I

 Final Recap is up!

SHORT VERSION
Alonso is mad and plans revenge on both Tav and MC. He want to paint MC nude..Bwahahahaha. Tav is jealous, Doris is jealous and MC can't catch a break. Out of a job and cannot find a new home.

LONG VERSION

Alonso, Son of the Year
Alonso and MC argue about integrity and Alonso’s lack thereof. She is disgusted with his scheme of duping other artists and passing off the work as his. Old SuperMari comes out of hiding to give Alonso the verbal smackdown. Playboy Alonso barely has his feathers ruffled. He tells her to keep her mouth shut, as they both have a lot to lose if she opens her mouth. MC pays him no mind until he tells her that his mother would not like hearing about her affairs and dark past. This sets her off and she gives him so hard of a slap that he is left speechless.

Doris, the Problem Solver
Doris is trying to fix the mess that Octavio got himself in. This is very calm for Doris; I am surprised she is not screaming her head off that she is the Governor’s daughter or something of the likes. She doesn’t believe that anyone will accuse him if he is with her. She wants Tav to do something worthwhile (good luck with that) to get himself out of this mess. I believe she comes up with the idea to return the package in the mail (CCs would have been helpful this episode), which makes a lot more sense than Tav’s moping.

Alonso, Playboy’s Lifestyle spins out of control
Alonso is telling some chic (I forget her name but she did some major hating on MC a few episodes ago) about putting MC in her place. He then deals with the under-aged girl from his past. She wants to see him like yesterday, she wants him to tell her that he doesn’t like her and was only playing with her feelings the whole time (why go through all that when you already know the answer). Alonso tries to blow her off but she tells him to make time or else.  Sorry, Alonso I do not feel sorry for you.

Corazon Indomable # 145 (plus replay of #144), Thursday, 11-28-13. Lazy Layabout Playboy Painter Amazes the Artistic World, Then Displays a Shocking Loss of Artistic Integrity

Here’s hoping all of you had a great holiday and wonderful Thanksgiving feast.

WTH, Univision? Another “two-hour” evening with another repeat of the previous night’s second hour, leaving us with only one fresh episode? And here we thought we were making progress. (I could be bitter about sacrificing my Thanksgiving evening, but the food is put away, the dishes are washed, and I’m ready to sit for a while.)

If You Didn’t Get Enough of the Club Scene
If one had only known, one could have made better plans for the repeat of Cap. 144—skipping either last night’s or tonight’s showing. I was weary enough from cooking to stay put and watch all over again.

There were the young lovers in their assorted triangles, hanging out at the club while watched over by cool and carefree Clementina. There was Alfonso, the man with the plan, persuading his fellow artists to fill up “his” exhibit with their talent. At least they get the satisfaction of seeing their work on display, even if he gets the credit. There were Celia and Tav, concerned that Mechita and MC would get bad reps from association with slimy Alfonso. And finally, we see many of our current characters eager to make an appearance at the exciting exhibit.

One of the Highlights of the Social Season
Although Tav appeared in person to complain to Alfonso’s mother and future mother-in-law, the selfish slimeball painter is determined to continue his pursuit of MC as both model and lover. Elsa, the very young former flame, calls to lodge another complaint with Alf. He claims he dropped her because she’s too young. That excuse doesn’t cut it with her, since he picked her up at school many times. She’ll see him at the exhibit! MC, hoping for a fresh start, tells Juanita they need to leave the hotel and find a house. (Finally feeling the need for privacy?)

Doris is driving to meet Tav, sure that she’ll marry him this time, unless he’s still involved with “that woman.” MC speaks to Juanita as she heads off for the exhibit, dressed in a conservative ice-blue lace sheath. Juanita says she is very elegant, but MC thinks Doris may bring out the savage in her.

MC is speaking to Alf in the crowded gallery when Tav and Doris arrive. Doris looks deceptively sweet in a pink chiffon and lace dress, with one bare shoulder and a flying panel on the other shoulder. She trills “Buenos noches” at Alf and MC, while a sullen Tav and hostile MC refuse to acknowledge each other. Alf tosses out “bienvenidos” as they stride by.

Clementina, husband (name?), Celia, and Mechita chat in a group. Doris and Tav scan the paintings, zeroing in on the head and shoulders portrait of MariCruz. Doris’ opinion: “She looks prettier than she really is.” Anibal, the hovering creator of the abstract “Freedom,” is thrilled to hear Tav praise his painting. Tasha and Alf’s buddy toast the success of the exhibit.

Tav overhears two men gossiping about MC—she’s actually the hired companion of the painter’s mother, and possibly worse. He takes offense and huffily informs them he personally knows that she’s a lady, not a tramp. Then he attempts to grab MC, saying if she doesn’t get rid of that painting, he will! He tells Alf he doesn’t want to hear MC' name in everyone’s mouth: after all, she is the mother of his daughter. Next, he tells Doris they’re leaving, despite her complaint that all this has nothing to do with them.

The Art World Is Amazed at Alfonso’s Talent
The morning after the big event, Alf’s parents read the morning papers with the critics’ positive take on the exhibit. “Freedom” is a masterpiece. Alf is also reading and learns his exhibit “surprised the artistic world.” Anibal, the somewhat scruffy “Freedom” artist, comes to see Alf with his thanks. MC is also reading the critics’ comments, but less happily. She doesn’t like contributing to a deception and thinks the other artists must be suffering from the imposture.

Anibal is thrilled to see his work appreciated, but Alfonso doesn’t want to give up the painting yet. He wants to show it elsewhere and maybe win a prize with it. He would give Anibal some money, since he knows Anibal needs it. Anibal is counting on the world knowing he’s the artist sometime in the future. He’s troubled with shaking hands, which is bad news for a painter.

Meanwhile at Casa de Society Central, Celia and her friends are praising the exhibit and asking about Mechita’s wedding. Now, many of them want Alfonso to paint their portraits. (Ha! A perfect career for him—a soulless society painter, forced to flatter ladies of a certain age instead of producing masterpieces or seducing young models.)

An art collector/museum representative calls on Alfonso. He thinks “Freedom” is a masterpiece and will pay mucho dinero for it--$100,000. Alf smirks a little, but doesn’t want to sell yet, since he hopes to exhibit it other places. Buyer thinks he must have been truly inspired to paint like that. Since he is leaving for Germany in a short time, he wants to take the painting with him. Selfish swine Alf continues thinking: Anibal is sick and won’t paint much longer the way his hand shakes. I could give him money and besides, my signature is on that painting. It’s too good an opportunity to pass up.

Other Members of the Public Have a Lower Opinion of Alfonso and His Talent
Tav wonders why he continues to believe MC is pure. Doris mocks him for defending MC, but he feels like killing those who attack her. He thinks of Alfonso’s insinuation that he should get rid of MC’ portrait if it causes such a problem.

MC is busy at Clem’s Casa de Pretensiones, going through her new stack of invitations. She’s hot property socially, now that her son is the buzzword of the art world. Clem brags on ladies lining up for portraits. MC is happy for her boss, but says Alf doesn’t take his painting seriously. They acknowledge other painters contributed to the exhibit’s success. A news bulletin announces a burglary at the art exhibit. The portrait of MariCruz was stolen!

In Tav’s room, we see him with the stolen portrait, loudly chastising the painted MC as maldita (damned). If his one brain cell isn’t working, his emotions are. He takes a knife from his bag and slashes the painting, hacking away until only tangled pieces remain. He rips the canvas free, tearing it into smaller shreds and demolishes the inner frame.

This catharsis is interrupted by a knock on the door. Doris enters, surveys the mess, and says Tav is the thief! Now he’s made MC famous as the muse caught between the artist and a jealous lover. Why did he do it? Because of those men saying MC was Alf’s amante (lover). She warns him she could make a real scandal if she calls the police!

An official is interviewing the gallery owner, who says it may be personal vengeance. He is welcome to investigate on his own. Probably he will, since it’s a juicy story.

MC goes into savage mode and confronts Alf in his studio, saying they have to talk. She arrives as Anibal also visits the studio. Concerned for security, he wants his painting. Alf reminds him to be careful about saying that, since it’s traveling under Alf’s signature. MC hears him offer $2,000 to Anibal and questions Alf once they’re alone. He says a buyer is offering $100,000 so he can easily pay Anibal the smaller amount.

MC is incensed and rips into him as she did to the Emir Karim, so long ago. She says other painters would be interested to know how he operates. He’s the worst kind of petty thief! He warns her that she and Tav have as much to lose as he, if the entire mess is made public.

Preview—Continuing fallout from the artistic scandal.

Corazon Indomable #144 I think?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Part 1:

The music tells us that Al drops a bomb at the dinner table in front of Mercedes, Mom and MC, the three m's, hahaha. A jealous exhusband came to his studio and threatened him if he paints his exwife. It doesn't seem to warrant that much suspense to me.

Doris drops a bomb to Octavio except the music isn't that intense because the water fountain in the background is making so much noise it's hard to hear them. She tells him that she told her daddy that they are back together and getting married. Octavio gives her a look that I can't identify. I think he's using his one brain cell to figure out what she just said.

Corazon Indomable Hour 1 -- From Muse to Matchmaker; Hour 2 - Not In The Nude, Dude!

[Completed 2 of 2]

Hour 1 of 2 --Capítulo 142
"From Muse to Matchmaker"

Maricruz returns to Clementina’s manse to report to Mama C that Alfonzo is an underachiever. This is the reason for his not wanting to have an exhibition. (Or, to paraphrase—the bigger the boast, the smaller the post…) M/C realizes this dawggy's got a bigger bark than bite and tells Mama, bottom line, she’s determined Fonzie requires a muse more than a mistress. She can manage musing no problem.

Octavio, knowing that he’s got Juanita on his side, figures he’ll be able to keep tabs on his family unit and will have time to eventually convince Maricruz that she completely misinterpreted Doris’s draping her drunk-as-a-skunky skanky self over him and planting a plastered lip-lock on him just as she walked into the room that night at the party. He’s determined to make her realize that appearances can be deceiving, especially where Doris and he are always concerned. (Good luck, Chump. Please tell us what makes the umpteenth and first time so different from the first umpteen.)

Corazon Indomable #140 & 141, 11/25/13: Dopes, Doris and Drama

The recap is now all done! I came up with the title before watching the episodes, but after watching, I still think it fits perfectly.

-Vivi

--
Part 1:

MC swears to Juanita that if she and Tav were to meet today, unlike the first time they met and fell in love, things would be very different. Uh huh. MC desperately wants to see and kiss Tav.

Tav offers up Alfie as a better playmate for Doris, but tells her to be careful of his playboy ways. Doris assures him she can handle Alfie. She isn’t deterred by Tav’s lack of enthusiasm for renewing a friendship with her. Back in his hotel, Tav thinks to himself that he must tell Doris that he’s reconciled with MC and is looking for her. (Any bets on when he actually gets around to doing this?) Miguelito, meanwhile, is out late partying with friends, leaving his bed empty for the night.

Alfie asks his mommy about Doris and MC. He wants them both and wants to learn more about them both. Being that they are beautiful women, of course they are perfect targets for an “adventure.” He puts his fiancé Mercedes/Meche down. She does not please his artist’s eye.

The next morning, Clementina asks MC to go on a trip with her, once Alfie is married. Clementina is still hot to get MC hitched. MC says she has no luck in the love department. Clem guesses correctly that MC has suffered greatly for love.

Corazon Indomable - caps 138 & 139 Fri 11/22/13 She's Baaack!

Two hours we'll never get back... Two... Dos... This double episode could have taken thirty minutes and still have been wayyy too long. But some good things happened so I'll try not to be excessively bitter.

We get to see Miguel die again... almost as satisfying as the first time  though we didn't get to see Nazario pull the trigger this time around. We get only minimal sepia flashbacks of the good times with Miguel... but let's face it, there weren't all that many.

We're also treated to Nazario's surrender. He did it his way, first finishing off his beer. He swills it down, slowly stands up, and thrusts out his wrists

Killin' A Man Is Thirsty Work

"I don't regret what I did."

Yes, well wait until you get thirsty again, I'm betting... no beer for you for a very long time.

And last but not least... She's baaack! You heard right, Doris has returned and lest we forgot, reminds us that she is the governor's daughter.

But first we have a lot... and I do mean a lot... of dreary filler. So pour yourself a double of whatever, sit back, and endure.

Juanita assures Maricruz that she looks great in a cheap dress. Let's face it, Maricruz looks great in just about anything. She tells Juanita that she will get in touch with Octavio tomorrow to tell him where they are. She's anxious to see him. Lupita must be off the drugs because she seems much more animated and not so drowsy. Maybe she's joined a twelve step program.

Alfonso confirms his date for the opera with his mom. Both are very excited ... well, perhaps she's a bit more enthusiastic than he is. His new intended and her new companion lady will be going. She encourages him to dress nice.

"He Was Loved And Respected... We Expected A Few More People."

Corazon Indomable #137: Simona Sports A New Attitude and Miguel Is A Dead Man Walking

Capítulo 137

Alfonso (what is with all these characters being named with Al derivatives?), aka Fonzie, asks Maricruz to tell him about her life. He asks if she’s married. MC confesses that she was once, but that fate was the cause of her separation from her man. Fonzie says he doesn’t believe in fate. MC doesn’t really want to go there and he decides to leave sleeping dogs lie. He’s got an appointment with his fiancée, anyway. Yes, he admits, despite the times they are a changin’ when it comes to families choosing marital mates for their children, his wealthy parents apparently are slow adapters. The pretty little rich girl they picked out for him, he complains, is the DF poster child for Valley Girls R Us, and he’s not looking forward to getting hitched.

Corazon Indomable, #136, 11/19/13 Portrait of a lady

I was dreading this episode, but I actually found it quite ok and fast paced (But keep in mind this is Corazon Indomable, so don’t expect too much).

Rehash from yesterday:

“Me rindo ante este amor!”(I surrender to this love) – MC says in a completely anticlimactic way and this line reminds me of a similar one said by Camila in Amor Bravio, during her much awaited and perfectly timed reunion with Daniel (Me rindo ante ti, me rindo ante mi, me rindo ante este amor – SWOON!) – Needless to say, when MC says it, it feels so flat to me, that I’m upset they’d use such a powerful line with this travesty couple.
MC and Tav still have a smokin’ chemistry and that’s so sad, because the direction of this scene didn’t do them any justice – their kiss has no spark, this is not a reunion kiss!

The new stuff:

MC is going to Mexico, Tav is staying behind for a while to make sure Simona is getting better (or dies once and for all); then he’ll join MC and Lupita to the city.
So, El Chulito and La Salvajita say one final farewell and then each goes their own way.

Tav tells Migreedy that he plans to go stay with Simona during her operation and after that he‘ll reunite with MC. Migreedy is pissed, when MC leaves the ranch he tries to convince her that Tav will never lover her, he can only love himself.
But, unlike the 130 episodes we’ve had to endure so far, today MC is willing to risk it all for love, open herself to the possibilities their future holds; she also wishes Migreedy to meditate on all the bad things that he’s done. Adios para siempre, she adds.
Good riddance to bad rubbish would be more likely, but MC has more class than I’d have in a similar situation.

Corazon Indomable, Episode #135, Monday, November 18, 2013 Rescue, Food & Shelter – Octavio’s Recipe for Winning Back Maricruz……No Apologies Needed……WTH??!!!”

Written by LatinaInMD

Rehash of JackAss and Simona meeting; Simona informs him that she is giving a hectare of land to HIS WIFE; in other words, not to you, Jackass.  (This is followed by a useless scene of Octavio and Migreedy – NEXT.)

As luggage is loaded into a car, a surprisingly lucid Simona bids farewell to her home and junior.  Simona makes Octavio promise never to separate from his son and to take him with him wherever he goes (as if Oblivio’s promises are worth anything).  Fortunately, Simona has the good sense to extract the same promise from Ofelia – if nothing else, Ofelia is loyal and more trustworthy than Oblivio.

JackAss visits Maricruz and informs her that Simona and Octavio are preparing to leave; Maricruz says she sincerely hopes Simona returns cured from her illness.  JackAss asks if Maricruz will see Octavio again if Simona returns cured.  Maricruz assures him that no matter what happens, she “will never see him again.”  (Mark those words, Viewerville.)  As much as we detest JackAss, we must agree when he tells her that he doesn’t believe her.

Now Simona assures Miguel that she holds him in high esteem too and asks that he too watch over her son.  (Excuse me while I laugh – the man can’t even take care of his own, nearly forgotten son, woman.)

An angry group of Realengueros stands in the way of a bulldozer preparing to raze all the little toy houses on which Maricruz blew her humongous (yeah, right) fortune.  JackAss just happens to be there, and they all want him to explain to them why “that woman” lied to them and “sold herself to those people for money”.  JackAss washes his hands of the problem, reminding them he doesn’t work there anymore.  Now the priest comes running to try to reason with the angry mob.

Maricruz starts bringing her belongings out to the ranch house’s veranda in little cardboard boxes tied with twine.  (Boxes and twine?!  Holy cow – now we know she is dead broke.)  JackAss comes running up to her and warns her that she is in grave danger.  She is incredulous and informs him (and Viewerville, of course) that she just barely received her compensation for the taken land, but it’s so little it will barely pay for her existing debts.  He warns her that the Realengo people think she betrayed them.

Corazon Indomable Episode 134: Season of Despair, Desparation and Estupideces

A Tribute to Rent (aka procrastination at its best)

One thousand six hundred and eight minutes
One thousand six hundred and eight minutes so dear (umm maybe)
One thousand six hundred and eight minutes
That’s how much time, we have with this TN

We may be, rejoicing
We may be, in mourning
Tequila or tissues? Applauses or tears?
One thousand six hundred and eight minutes
How will you remember, this (adlib) TN

And So We Begin
Dejected MC greets Octavio in a “hurry up dude, I have got better things to do like sit and look somber all day instead of taking action” kind of day. Octavio gets to the point and states that Simona is going to Mexico to operate and want to speak with MC prior to leaving. I am not sure whether MC is shocked that Simona wants to speak with her or that she is going to MC to operate which means she will not die like everyone clearly wants. Now that that’s over with while they are standing two worlds apart, Octavio wants to know how MC is doing. She tells him not to worry about that she is fine. She said her goodbye’s to Alvaro because she will never marry again. She will live alone with Lupita, never allow herself to love anyone again and get herself out of this situation (flash of Old Mari..yay!!). Tav feels obligated to lessen the distance between them but Mari is just defeated today. She tells him they will never be together and with Simona getting that operation they will always be apart (I believe this is what she was insinuating…correct me if I am wrong).

CI capítulo 133 – 11-14-13 – Some People Are Packing Up and Leaving Town

Scenes are grouped under topic and may be described out of order. I always thought Solita was undeservedly ignored, so I felt compelled to write an account from her point of view. It’s at the end of the recap and not part of the action, so feel free to ignore it.

Previously, more or less
Tav thinks about Maricruz and decides it’s alright if she marries for love, but not from need.
Padre Julian and Nilda talk. Solita lived a life of disability, but it was due to Nilda’s ignorance and her errors.
Alvaro hears Perrico say he’ll be best man at the wedding, but really came to warn the birdbrain that drastic action is needed to keep Solita with him. He needs to grab her and run away.
Herminio meets Octavio outdoors, carrying baby Octavito. Simona gave the baby to a couple living in a shack. Tav cuddles the baby and takes him home.

Life in the Mad House
Ofelia is ecstatic to see Tav returning with his son and heir. He instructs Ofe on the new safety standards: the baby will sleep in her room and she is to watch him carefully.

Defense against crazy Simona becomes a moot point when Ofelia finds her on the floor of her room, completely unresponsive. She runs screaming for Migreedy, afraid Simona is dead. Tav is gone, but the situation won’t wait. Migreedy will call an ambulance to get her to the hospital.  Tav arrives home as the ambulance crew is loading Simona. He gets the story of her collapse from Miguel and says he’s going to the hospital.

The doctor says Simona is in deep shock and is a difficult case.

Corazon Indomable #132, The search continues.

MC tells Solita that Nilda is her mother. Solita doesn't seem to understand, MC then repeats it to Perico as if he wasn't standing right there when she said it and acts like he just heard it for the first time too. They all leave Solita alone with Nilda to not talk. Nilda cries and Solita wonders what is going on. I have a halloween wig that looks just like Nilda's hair.

Octavio is searching for the missing baby.

CI #131 -- Lost and Found: Simona Misplaces The Mini-Tav While Nilda Makes Contact With Solita

We settle in for another round of redneck hobsnobbery as the doc is informing Esther, Octavio and Miguel that Jose Antonio will be off the job for the next two weeks, and admits that he has a legal duty to report the shooting.  Esther goes in to chat with her hubby while Migui and Tav ask if the doc knows who shot JA and why.  The doc tells them what JA told him: that it was a tenant from Rancho Narvaez over some personal dispute.  (Sorry, Doc, but the name’s been changed to El Abuelo.  I suppose they forgot to make the script change…..)  Tav thinks out loud saying he’s relieved it wasn’t about “her”…..la Sra. Maricruz.  Migui does a quick verbal shuffle explaining how Esther and she don’t get along and that perhaps JA wanted to avoid having to mention her name. The doc says nope, nothing like that and then takes his leave.  Migui does another mental number on Tav to make him continue to doubt MC’s good character when it comes to other men in the region.

Corazon Indomable #130, 11/11/13: Ren & Stimpy Rule the World!...uhm, the Ranch!; Who Shot JA?

You keep your dream, and I'll keep the money! – Ren & Stimpy
Ren and Stimpy, aka Miguel and Tav, discuss taking over the world, uhm… $imona’s ranch. Dimwitted Stimpy agrees to put the management of $imona’s lands in Ren’s eager greedy hands. Tav will do the legal paper work. Happy-happy, joy-joy! (Ren & Stimpy)

Miguel knocks back a double shot of tequila, and convinces Tav that it’s best that no one else know just how crazy Simona is. But then he turns around and tries once again to convince Tav to lock her up, since she could be a danger to both of their sons. Tav refuses.

At Rancho Abuelo, MC and Juanita ream Perico out about impregnating Solita, especially given that Solita is still recovering from pneumonia and is in delicate health. Perico doesn’t seem to understand how this could be (uhm, shall we explain it with dolls or stick figures?). MC insists that they need to be married by the Church, immediately. Juanita is a little less understanding and calls him a criminal! After the dumb shock wears off, Perico seems to be happy about the news, but for some stupid reason he doesn’t mention that he and Solita are already married by law (por el civil). He does say that he loves Solita. He has no family and was raised like an animal in the mountains (that explains a lot!). MC is cool with him, as long as he doesn’t leave his child in the same wild animal conditions. And he needs a plan for supporting his woman and his two kids. He assures them that this wasn’t Solita’s fault and they love each other. Juanita’s ready to tear him a new one, but MC thinks what’s done is done, and now they need to get the Padre to marry them. Then MC scolds Juanita for her part in not preventing the horny teenagers from having sex, because that’s the priority when there are two toddlers to look after. Perico runs upstairs to see Solita, and MC waxes romantic about leaving the kids alone to enjoy their sweet romance (well, the damage IS already done).

Corazon Indomable Episode #129: The Various Coats of Octavio Narvaez

We begin with JA/MC discussing Simona. MC wants the Narvaez family to feel the pain she felt when they kidnapped Lupita (Too bad, I don’t think either of them care about Simona that much). However, since she is much better in character because she agrees to let JA take her back home. (The talk about something that I did not quite catch but I believe it referred to MC suspecting JA about something).

Simona returns to her house without a care in the world. She informs our two upstanding men of honor (insert dripping sarcasm here) that she just came back from a pleasant visit with Lucia. Miguel looks shocked while Octavio is worried. She bids them goodnight and tells them that they better go back home because Lucia is waiting. The minute she leaves McGreedy is quick to say Octavio should detain her in a crazy house. Octavio who decided wear his “Bleeding heart” coat today is appalled by Miguel brashness. He will care for Simona till his dying day (yea..whatever, I’ve heard that before).  Lets digress and discuss the various coats in Octavio’s closet…. lets see we have jerk, insensitive, romantic (no worries this coat is hidden with much dust over it). Then we have his most worn out coat all, which is stupidity; actually I do not think he ever takes that off.

Sorry back to the show…. Miguel does not like JA giving his opinions on these matters. JA reminds them that if he goes down…they will too (uh oh). Octavio decides to borrow someone’s “wise saying” coat and warns Miguel…. this is why you shouldn’t involve yourself with delinquents.

CI capítulo 128, Thur. 11-7-13 -- The Good, the Bad, and the Crazy. (You Decide Who’s Who.)

Simona involves Maricruz in the main drama of this episode. The Narvaez brothers share in this problem, while some secondary characters stir and simmer their own drama in the background.  The smaller matters will be summarized first, then on to the juicy stuff.

Previously
Simona puts on a convincing show for the doctors, answering their questions correctly and appearing quite sane and logical. They leave.
Perico discusses marriage at Solita (not with, exactly.) She understands once he points to his ring finger. She happily mimes a wedding crown, veil, and long train on a dress. He can’t afford a lavish wedding and somehow makes her understand. She happily agrees to a simple ceremony.
Valdez of the rodent face is visiting Vargas and saying the people must move from the Rancho Narvaez settlement so gold extraction can begin.

Land Grabbing and Gossip
Valdez and Vargas discuss the wild colony (Realengo) and the rancho colony (Narvaez). If Vargas would just cooperate in moving everyone out, he could become the CEO of a utility company in the city. If he doesn’t, who knows where he could end up? (So much for Solita and MC hosting his wedding at the hacienda.)

Clorinda stops by to visit Ester. The people are restless and miserable; they need to see a solution to the land and housing problem. By the way, Amador is doing better with his daughter Lina. He brings her treats and pays more attention to her. And Simona is BSC. Clo needs to find Padre Julian and let him know there’s violence brewing with the poor folk.  That evening, Padre Julian visits Ester and Clorinda returns. There are five sick people at the riverside and the situation is dangerous.

The return of Lupita Narvaez CI #127 Wed Nov.7th, 2013

My DVR ate the episode, I tried to look online for it and only found bits of it, the following is what I was able to see, if I can find the episode online tonight I'll come back and re-do this :(

An open letter to Perrico:

Dear Perrico, I think I speak for all of viewerville when I say that you need to go pound sand! If you love Natrasha then go be with her and leave poor Solita alone. She needs someone who is kind and loyal and you are neither. Is there something in the water that makes you and everyone else in this godforsaken story believe that marriage is the solution to all your problems? Do I need to remind you that the last person who someone married out of pity now has a brain tumor? Do you want your own brain tumor? Thought not. Please Perrico if you don't love Solita leave her alone, or else we will all get out our pointy sticks and hunt you like a dog.

Corazon Indomable, #126, 11/05/13 Kidnapping #3 in 3...2...1... Oh, wait, what's this story about an Angel de la Muerte?

Beware: nothing that happens this episode makes any sense, from a legal perspective, or any other perspective you might think of.
Also, I appologize in advance for grammar mistakes or sentences that are not tied together, making a sense of this madness is harder than pulling teeth without anesthesia.

Dead to Viewerville Tav has decided: his daughter will not grow up with a mother like Maricruz Olivarez. HE says so, this is how it’s going to be.
Migreedy congratulates him on this awesome decision and hopes that he now feels ashamed for whatever feelings he might have had for MC in the past.
Dead to Viewerville Tav apologizes (!!!) for what he made Migreedy go through, Migreedy is just happy to be able to help his bro get rid of that woman. How sweet, unconditional brotherly love - Blech!
After Migreedy leaves, we see that MC is not as dead to Tav as Tav is to Viewerville. He remembers his talk with JA, about how MC will use Alvaro the same way she used them both.
Dead to Viewerville Tav thought MC really loved him, in her own savage way, but that was not true. He can’t allow his daughter to be with her, he’ll fight, no matter what it takes, he can’t be an irresponsible and a coward. (Excuse me while I go throw up).

Corazon Indomable, Episode #125, Monday, November 4, 2013 “The Agony of REPEAT” aka “The Second Kidnapping of Lupita Narvaez Mendoza”

Recap by LatinaInMD

Phew, done.  I cannot believe I just survived a “repeat” viewing of this abysmal episode.  And since I am a glutton for punishment, along with the rest of Viewerville (at least those still subjecting themselves to this torture), here I go again, with a “repeat” of the low points (sorry, no such thing as a highlight here).  (I have the strange sensation that I am repeating the first title above from some previous recap, but it was to be expected with all the repetition we get from the monkey writers.)

We begin where we left off, with a “repeat” of Sickmona assuring GreedyMig that Oblivio will do her will, because she “dominates” him; as she confidently strides off, GreedyMig is left wondering what she is up to and now decides it’s best if Oblivio refuses to do her bidding.

At Rancho El Abuelo (“REA”) all seems ready for the big wedding party, where MC will do her best to blow what little money she has left for someone who has never lifted a finger to help her.  Alvaro, the priest, and MC stand around the living room as if there’s no place to sit, with Lupita in MC’s arms, looking awake but rather bored – the child must be channeling Viewerville’s mood.  JackAss shows up and asks if he can hold Lupita, grabbing her from MC’s arms before she can say a word.

Corazón Indomable #124 Fri 11/1/13☆ It's Past Time That Another Star Shines In My Sky

Sorry gang... no CeCe for you today... she's been abducted by real life... so get you a drink and brace yourself for another dose of Carlos...

And what better way to set the stage for tonight's murky presentation than to borrow an edited quote from La Paloma's brilliant recap of Thursday's episode?

"Tav is ... thinking. (Always a laborious process, bless his heart.)"

And these words that he utters out loud may be the most illuminating you'll hear tonight.

"Where Did This Show Go So Very Wrong?"

"My God, I'm going to go crazy with this situation."

You are speaking for all of us, lad... you are speaking for all of us...

So the rest of you who are left watching this with us, grab a shot of Tequila, pop a Xanax if that's your style, and hang on tight. This will definitely hurt a bit, but we'll try to move more rapidly than usual to minimize your suffering.

We quickly are transported to the drawing room of Rancho Abuelo (formerly  Rancho Narváez) to eavesdrop on a conversation between José Antonio and Maricruz Olivarez, who is fiddling with her daughter Lupita's hair (I suspect, being the vigilant mom that she is, inspecting for nits).

It Looks As Though Someone Has Already Had Her Afternoon Benadryl ♪

He asks Maricruz if she is indeed going to wed Engineer Alvaro Cifuentes and she confirms that right now it is pretty much her plan. He scoffs,
"Seriously?"
