Jorge
came face to face with Tacho, who dragged him inside before the Sow.
Both treated him like he was a pipsqueak, especially when he demanded
to see the Pig. When Tacho called the Pig to tell him Jorge insisted
on seeing him, he was told to bring him to his other sty using their
usual security measures. He was to leave the Sow behind.
Edna
and Carlos' current assistant reviewed Duarte's bank accounts and the
transactions regarding Natalia Rios' apartment. He had paid
everything directly out of his own personal account. They discussed
evidence that pointed at him having murdered Natalia Rios.
Tacho
brought Jorge to the Pig, head covered with a black bag so he could
not see the way there. He told the Pig he wanted to help him... to
kill Miguel for revenge. Pig was incredulous at first and finally
was curious about this and Jorge explained his motive. Pig had no
trouble establishing that Jorge didn't have the cojones to do this
himself. He offered his help because Pig would need it to get on the
property.
Chisca
tried calling Jorge after she couldn't find him in the house or the
garden, but he didn't answer his phone. Miguel and Ishiro entered the
room and Ishiro said he would search for Jorge.
The
Pig and his Taco drank to their situation. They told Jorge he would
have to help and Jorge agreed to provided that they do not touch the
rest of his family. The Pig promised he wouldn't, then gave Jorge a
shot of tequila. The boy looked deranged [more that than the
stupid for this admission to a psycho predator].
Flaco
tried tracking Jorge by searching for the cell phone but was unable
to. The Taco had the phone, but the battery had been removed. He
returned both to Jorge as he dropped him off near his home, telling
him to wait until he was out of the area. The plan was for Pig,
Taco, and reinforcements to attack at 2AM. He warned him that there
would be consequences if this was a trap. Jorge got out of the car
and Taco drove away.
Jorge
and Pilar put flowers on Kenia's grave, which had her new name on it.
Pilar cried and told Jorge how much Kenia had loved him.
Gary
watched them from behind a nearby tree and left before they could
spot him.
Pig,
Taco, and Jaramillo discussed this latest development. Taco began
laying out the plan. They would have three units of men. Pig called
Duarte to take advantage of his connexions to dirty cops. He was
lucky that those owed Duarte favors.
Edna
and Gary looked over Natalia's digs for any evidence that had
previously been overlooked. She took a call from forensics which
confirmed Braulio's account of Natalia's death.they had their little
black light party and found blood that had not been successfully
washed out.
Jorge
went back to Kenia's grave to tell her he was getting revenge. He
took out his cell, turned it on, and placed it on the grave in front
of himself. Flaco identified the location and Miguel called Ishiro
to tell him.
Duarte
met with a forensic expert who told him that DNA was obtainable from
old blood stains.
Ishiro
went to the cemetery and told Jorge that his family was worried about
him. He expressed his condolences to him but Jorge was not
receptive, saying he couldn't possibly understand. “Your woman
sleeps beside you, mine is alone under the earth and it's my
brother's fault.” This hit something in Ishiro, who bowed and said
(in Japanese) that he was sorry for his loss. He explained that
death is something too large for words in Japan. Jorge was petulant
toward him.
Duarte
emptied a safe full of cash and documents, put on a baseball cap
[WTF?] and split.
Jorge
went home, followed by Ishiro. He told Miguel in front of everyone
else that he would hate him forever no matter what he would say or
do.
Taco
went back to the sty. Carmen wanted Adela dead, but Taco reminded
them of the Pig's promise. [If we flies on the wall were watching
the Pig's expression, there was no doubt that he would not keep his
word to Jorge.]
Miguel
explained to Adela and Ishiro that he wanted to fix the efelina so
that nobody else would die from its use. Tadamichi would then be
taking over the production of efelina and everything would go back to
normal. Chisca looked worried.
Edna
took a call that told her that the blood found in the apartment was
Natalia's. She told Gary that once they have dealt with Duarte they
would close in on Miguel and see him imprisoned for his white collar
crimes. Gary said it was better to do so in the US, where the
sentence would be more harsh.
Miguel
was meditating. He told Adela that things would soon be back to
normal. She seemed somewhat doubtful on that.
The
Pig's forces approached to check positions. Taco told Jaramillo over
the radio units he wanted better visibility. They were fifteen
meters away when the Taco checked the length of the shot by aiming at
a guard. He was satisfied.
That
night Chisca told Ishiro how Miguel was naïvely trying to perfect
the formula “no matter the cost”, but it wasn't that easy.
Ishiro talked about the end of the age of the samurai and how
difficult it was for his people. He seemed a little depressed and
didn't want to talk about such things. He kissed her and they began
to so the horizontal mambo.
Jorge
looked at the reunion photo of himself and his siblings,
then
recalled the horrible death of his parents.
Ishiro
thought about Chisca's false alarm ad told her how he would like to
have a baby with her. She said she felt ready for this. He said
nothing would make him happier than to have a family with her. [He
had no clue what a curse this declaration had been for Miguel and
Asya].
Jorge
left his room and went downstairs. Adela was in the kitchen getting
a glass of water. She said it had a few drops in it to help her
sleep. She offered some of it to him because he said he had insomnia
but he declined.
A guard was outside but so were Jaramillo, Taco,
and the rest of their forces.
Adela
tried to talk about Kenia but Jorge kept looking at his watch. She
asked if he was expecting anyone. He wiggled out of answering her
and walked away from her. Taco and his sniper rifle had Peligros in
his sights but stopped as he remembered Pig's orders.
Adela
told Jorge his feelings were normal and that he could count on her.
He was more nervous than ever as she handed the water glass to him
before going back upstairs to bed, saying he needed it more than she
did. He sat down at the computer and looked at his watch again
before logging on.
Jaramillo
choked a guard and went over to the security panel.
Jorge had
unlocked it, letting him in, Jaramillo gave the order. Taco shot a
guard,
and they invaded with machine-gun fire. Peligros was in the
kitchen; he drew his pistol as he stepped outside. He fired until he
was out of ammunition then withdrew to reload. Jorge went back to
his room to cower. Miguel heard the shots, got up, and pulled Adela
away from the window.
Ishiro did the same with Chisca.
Miguel took
Adela into the bathroom and told her to stay in there. Rosario came
out of the kitchen shooting and was shot himself.
Peligros picked off
his shooter. Ishiro told Chisca to wait for him in her room and for
the moment she stayed on the floor.
Miguel and Ishiro took their
samurai swords.
The enemy was visible outside the ground floor
picture windows.
Chisca took a pistol out of the dresser
while Jorge
cowered on the floor of his room.
Miguel looked carefully out the
window, then went upstairs and told Jorge and Chisca to stay in their
rooms.
He and Ishiro took down two of the enemy with their swords.
Peligros came in shooting, then Miguel got Jaramillo. Chisca went downstairs while Jorge continued to cower. Ishiro yelled at her to
go back. Ishiro got in some kicks at one of the enemy
but was shot
and when Chisca ran up to him to check his wound
she was shot in the
back by the Taco, who entered through the open front door.
He
reentered through another door and shot Miguel a few seconds later.
Miguel fell against the wall. We did not see exactly where he was
hit, but it was not in the head.
This was a harrowing episode, amigos. I almost wanted to call it after the first biography of Jim Morrison but we won't know until tonight if anyone does...
ReplyDeleteJorge is the Fredo Corleone here, no doubt. Dora and Lamberto (to varying degrees) are responsible for this. I see suicide in his future if Chisca ends up dead.
Thank you, UA, great recap! Lots of action last night after the surprise that thumb-sucking Jorge asked EPig to kill Miguel. Wow, just wow!
ReplyDeleteAnother jaw dropper--Mig and Ishiro fighting off machine gun-toting villains with SWORDS!!! Seriously?? Live by the sword, die by the bullet, I say!
I'm still boohooing that Rosie got shot.
Can't wait to see who survived.
Thank you Urban for the recap. A horrendous episode.
ReplyDeleteWhy Miguel and Ishiro thought swords (!!!) were the perfect weapons against machine guns is worthy of further meditation. Really was silly. Yes, I think if Jorge doesn't off himself, one of the surviving Garzas will help him join Kenia.
4 more episodes for the Pigman and his shooters to be dispatched to the netherworld.
Thank you UA. Your recap was great, but the episode was horrible. It broke my heart that Rosie was shot dead. After all that shooting, I do not have words.
ReplyDeleteThanks for recapping a violent episode,
ReplyDeleteJorge is dead to me..sniveling thumb sucking boy...
Rosario...RIP, u never had the chance to do a makeover on Peligros..
Can Chisca and Maggie be dead?
Glad Peligros made it alive..
Still lots of loose ends. Carlos, the Pig and wifey, Tachometer,
Again....Jorge you disgust me me,..In Godfather tells Johnny Fontain, “ Be a man” after scolding him about crying about his lost role..
The first girl Jorge did the deed and she was the love of his life......can’t wait till tonite.
Thanks for wading through all the blood and guts for us Urban.
ReplyDeleteAdela, this was your wakeup call.
1. You just do not need this kind of excitement and danger in your LIFE
2. You actually still have your LIFE, leave with it
3. Your Boyfriend has the most messed up family on this planet
4. Your Boyfriend defended you from goons carrying AK47s with a KNIFE?
5. Your Brother in Law is a squirming little maggot
Yes Jorge she was the love of your life, until you sleep with someone whose face does NOT look like something went wrong while she was eating your car keys.
I dearly hope they don't put Miguel into a coma until the finale. That's all we [don't] need now. I have the feeling that they may not have decided that yet when they wrote this one and shot it the way they did.
ReplyDeleteI also hate that Rosario died. He should have decided to resign and start a restaurant or... be the Ted of the Mexican version of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (I miss that show).
Kirby, you are on the money with that.
And I suppose Ishiro is cured of 'The Jorge Syndrome'.
ReplyDeleteChisca kept her promise to never do drugs again.
Adela chose a perfect place to wait out all this. Plenty of running water and toilet paper.
If his room were carpeted, I believe Jorge would have wormed his way UNDER the carpet.
RIP poor Rosie, you even grabbed a pistol and tried. Sheezo, glad it was Grannie's Bingo night.
You Darwin award nominees being invaded by the equivalent of three swat teams with automatic high powered rifles and you fellows have pistols and knives.
Ah, it's Tuesday and we are always in for a treat from Urban that always includes the best screen shots of the episode. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteKirby--it was a sword--it has a longer reach than a knife. Could it be that those Samurai swords are good at fending off bullets? We've never seen Miggy with a gun, so maybe it's in his Code of Conduct. I don't think Ishiro has killed anyone with a gun, either. Wasn't there something Tadamichi (or someone) said about if you kill, you need to look the victim in the face, or something like that? Thus, use hands or knives or swords.
Jorge is dead to me, too. There were better ways for him to take revenge without carnage. Go to the police and tell them everything? Nah, too much of a squirming little maggot. Where did he get the "courage" to go to e-Pig?
Are they all dead? Rosario fell, Chisca fell, Miggy fell. We'll see who gets up. Dora was out of danger by then. Peligros never seemed to run out of bullets. What a guy!
Did I miss seeing ePig in the melee? I saw Jarmillo get it and saw Tacho standing and taking a bead on Chisca--he knew very well what he was doing. Who was ePig taking out?
How come Flaco or anybody else get an alarm go off that the security had been turned off. According to this tn, it wouldn't have made any difference. There had to be a shoot-out.
Urban
ReplyDeleteThat was one hell of a recap! The screen grabs were absolutely perfect!
I can't believe they killed off Rosario! Is there any chance he might still be alive? At least my buddy, Peligros, survived to see another day.
Well I guess Dora now has the freedom to run Garza Enterprises the way she wants!
Is it possible that Miguel and Chisca both survive so we can have another season?
Do you guys think the producers were smart enough to have contemplated a third season when they signed the cast? It doesn't appear to me that Sebastián Rulli has plans for another season.
Your opinions, please!
I don't think Miguel is dead. The bullets have probably hit in places just half a millimeter away from his heart or something. This shootout had so much wrong with it:
ReplyDelete-- Taco was close enough to hit Miguel's head, so why didn't he? Why would he leave this job unfinished unless the writers are setting him up for the Pig to do him in before the end?
-- We don't know how much dinero Jorge or anyone other than Miguel has access to, so why would he kill the source of his income?
-- Trusting the Pig in the first place is a million kinds of clueless.
Before this comes up again -- although nobody made any reference to this that I can remember -- the Piglets are probably with the Sow's relatives or out of the country with a nanny.
I don't know whether Sebastian Rulli would want to do another one like this. Think about everything he had to learn for it, the travels to Japan, and a primary focus on something other than romance. Not to mention that he's on his way to growing his hair back to what it looks best in.
Yes I fully know the difference in a knife and a sword. I called it a knife for effect.
ReplyDeleteUrban you are right. Who is going to feed, clothe Jorgie and wipe his ass if he gets his family killed?
ReplyDelete" so why would he kill the source of his income?"
Because he is a spoiled, selfish little worm who does not think that far into the future.
When he was trying to crawl under his nightstand I'd betcha he was having second thoughts about his betrayal, and wondering if ePig was staying true to their agreement, signed with a gulp of Tequila.
Aw shoot, Jimena escaped the fun too didn't she?
Urban
ReplyDeleteThat's the best news I've heard this year!!!
Sebastián Rulli growing his hair back!!!!!!!!
I guess I wasn't paying much attention to his hair while viewing his recent 'environmental awareness' photos that AB took of him while they were at the beach. I was too busy fixating on his other bodily aspects.
Hmm... I forgot all about Jimena during this episode.
ReplyDeleteI think Ishiro will survive, but he will fall into depression if Chisca dies. I have the feeling that she will be paralyzed if she lives.
I am not looking forward to recapping tonight's episode and dealing with the aftermath. After Jorge said something to the effect of, "What kind of family are we that we kill each other?" Well he's gone and made sure that he walks in the footsteps of his grandfather as well.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see Tacho, ePig and Mrs. ePig die off in a pool of their own blood. But who is going to pull that one off?
I am still wondering if anyone is going to figure out that Jimena transferred Naga monies to her own account? What will become of Trejo?
Still waiting for the real hero to appear.
They'll find out too late LOL.
DeleteKirby—I know you know the difference, I just mentioned sword for effect.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Jimena will “lend” the survivors enough money to get back in business?
Cynthia: "Can't wait to see Tacho, ePig and Mrs. ePig die off in a pool of their own blood. But who is going to pull that one off?"
ReplyDeleteMaybe Jorge when he realizes he has absolutely nothing to live for.
Dora back at 'House of (ex) Babes' in Jimenez
Rosie dead.
Peli a tire changer on Adela's pit crew
Ishiro back in Japan getting his tattoos removed
Mig in an insane asylum, and
Chisca needing someone to feed and take care of her, not Jorge's cup o tea.
So he straps explosives to himself and goes to Pork, Inc. to congratulate them in his own special way.
So in this and in Ringo we have a cray cray sibling Jorge, and in Ringo, Brenda who are both dangerous. It just lends credence to 'Better Safe Than Sorry".
ReplyDeleteAt the first sign of cray cray, kill'em.
Urban, thank you.
ReplyDeleteWell, I recorded this episode, but now that I have read the recap , I will watch it only in Fast forward mode. Do the people who make these telenovelas nowadays believe that audiences want these carnage filled shows? Is romance dead? Do people no longer believe in true love, devoted families, loyal friendships?
Kirby, maybe Adela will pull a "Wonder Woman" on us and save everyone.
ReplyDeleteCynthia, spin around in a puff of smoke and sparkles, and Pffftt. She actually could probably pass for Lynda Carter, Wonder Woman at first glance. Both are just plain old fashioned pretty to the core. But we haven't seen our sweet Adela jump over any buildings yet.
ReplyDeleteSusanLynn, great idea, seeing Ishiro and Miguel lopping off hands and arms and disemboweling people should be a hoot at triple speed.
Romance? You have Jorge and Kenia. Maybe you mistook it for something from the circus.?
😂 😂
Cynthia: Jorge the coward hides underneath. Can somebody please tell him that Kenia was a snitch for the Feds & needed to get whacked ?
ReplyDeleteI still do NOT feel sorry for Kenia.
Kirby: Edna & Gary make an intriguing team LOL.
Thank you, UA. I loved all the screen shots. I haven't watched it yet. I'm reluctant to see so many people die. We've had a number of these kinds of melees before. I agree with those of you wondering if the producers are right in thinking people want to see this stuff on their TN. And certainly some do, but they already have their own genres for it. Hallmark doesn't show snuff films.
ReplyDeleteKirby , after careful tbought, I decided that I didn't even want to experience it on fast forward. What a depressingly hopeless tale. I need something uplifting...or at least lighter than this horror show.
ReplyDeleteSusanlynn,
ReplyDeleteI agree!!!
Where are the fairytales? Is the world that far gone that we can't hope for fairytale endings anymore?
Victoria, I like fairytales and happy endings. I like to focus on the beautiful, the positive , and the good. Maybe we have become the minority these days.
ReplyDeleteUrban: Terrific title! It just grabbed it. Thanks for haning in there with us all. --
