ReplyDeleteNotes from the Couch The "Scene by Scene " edition
1. Kassandra is home still waiting for a call from Joaquín. She tells her mother she is going to call him. Isaura grabs the phone and tells her to give him a chance to miss her.
2. Joaquín picks up his phone and looks like he is doing some serious thinking
3. Isaura tells her women who are successful with men are those that know how to force them to their knees. The phone rings. It is Joaquín but since Isaura has the phone she refuses to answer it so Joaquín has to suffer and leave a message.
4. The message from Joaquín says he will see her tomorrow and they will try to find time to talk. He sends her a kiss.
5. Vero talks to Consuelo about the mess she has gotten herself in with bringing her daughter over to Joaquín's but she doesn't want to involve Nayeli. She also knows that she has to show up at the presentation the next day or the prize will be given to somebody else and she will be fired. Vero feels like just telling everyone the truth and being done with all of the lying.
6. A tearful Claudia is telling Diego how embarrassed she is after what her mother did to her on social media. Everyone is making fun of her. She wishes she could find her father and go live with him. He gives her a hug.
7. Consuelo reminds Vero she is in the most important fight of her life and she cannot throw the towel in now. She has to keep fighting for her daughter. They will come up with something.
8. Iván shows up at the Miranda house with Majo looking for asylum. He tells Joaquín about eh kidnapping. Joaquín has a hard time believing his brother was the victim. He wants the truth.
9. An upset Vero prays to the Virgin for help. Nico sees her state and says he warned her that is what lies would bring her. What is she to do? Admit she is a liar? He says she has lied but is no criminal. She is a mother and what she is doing is out of love but sometimes love needs the courage of the truth to save itself. He hugs her.
10.Claudia has no idea where to find her father. Diego assures her itwill all work out. They hug. Majo surprises them walking in. Claudia is so glad to see her and gives her a hug.

ReplyDelete11. Majo fills in Diego about the kidnapping and how her father thought they would be safer here. They are both super uncomfortable with Claudia being there knowing how they feel about each other.
12. In tears, Vero tells Nico he has no idea what it is to carry a baby and dream about her for nine months and then one day to have her just pulled from your arms. Nobody cares how you feel and it is as if you are worth nothing. He doesn't know what is like having her right in front of you and not being able to say anything when all she wants to do is shout that she is her mother. Nico will never judge her. He is there because he loves her. He tells her, with tears of his own, that he knows what it is to be broken inside and lying to protect what we love only works for a while and then you are left in pain and silence.
13. Eleazar calls Vero to see if Claudia is with her. His mother was worried. Yes, Claudia is there. She also saw the texts to Rebe and thinks that he had planned that to bother her. He answers that eh doesn't care what she thinks. Vale looks like she isn't feeling well.
14. Iván tells Joaquín that he didn't tell him about Olga being in jail because he didn't want to bother him. Joaquín assures him he will always be there for him and Majo. Iván is grateful.Joaquín adds that he and Majo can stay there with him until everything calms down.
15. Romina day dreams about that kiss that Iván wanted and smiles. Marcos breaks the spell. He is checking on her and wants her to know that she is with a man who will protect her. She smiles as he caresses her face. He hugs her and the smile disappears.
16. Lorena comes by the house and talks to Joaquín about Claudia. He thinks it is better she doesn't talk to her until tomorrow because she is upset. Lorena is at her wit's end. He can sympathize because he is going through the same thing with Diego. They are teenagers trying to establish their own identities apart from them. He feels like he is in a crash course on adolescence. She has to laugh.
TAN CERCA DE TI Part 3
ReplyDelete17. Vero calls Joaquín to tell him her daughter got sick and she will not be able to come in tomorrow. He offers her help. A doctor? No she doesn't need anything.
18.The next morning, Carmen asks about Vero. Joaquín says her daughter is ill. Carmen adds that they have loads of people in the house and Vale woke up with a high fever. He hopes it is only the flu. His brother left early. Claudia offers to stay all day with Vale. Carmen says that is her job. Joaquín tells her that Diego has to study for his admission test to the open prep school and then he has to go to work. After she has breakfast, he will take her. They have to talk. her mother came for her last night.
19. The awards ceremony! Vero is with her boss Flores. He is so pleased. Her prize validates them all. She thanks him never expecting a moment like this. He says they are just getting started. This award will push the publication to another level. He then talks about what the article about Luis and Joaquín could do when Vero gets a call.
20. Melli is calling Vero to find out why she didn't come. Vero says her daughter is sick. Meli says just like Vale. She has a fever. Vero gets upset.
21. Olga tells Polito her story. . The last thing she knew about Borja was that he was in Amsterdam. Some guy called her saying that Borja owed him money and that she should be careful because people were looking for her. She took that as a threat. Iván is incredulous that she never told him that. They start to argue. Polito finally stops them. He fears that their bad vibes will break his connection with St. Jude. Polito's plan: they are going to testify that she acted out of innocence. She was blind to what she was doing when she was signing those papers.. She suspected nothing. The reason: LOVE and trust! The "A woman in love" syndrome. He thinks they have it made with her looking like a victim and the intervention of Saint Jude.
22. It comes time for the award presentation and Vero is nowhere to be found. The presenter is informed she had to leave for a person emergency. The prize is awarded to the runner up. Flores looks disappointed and angry.
23. Vero is at work taking care of Vale with cold compresses on her forehead. Vale tells her not to leave. Vero says she will stay with her. Evidently delirious from her fever, she asks her "mommy" not to leave her. Vero tells her that ehr mother is at her side.
24. Joaquín assures Marcos that there is no problem with Romina staying at home after the ordeal she went though. Iván joins them asking about Romina. Marcos says she cannot even go out to the street. The police are on the case. Iván says nothing else will happen to her. Marcos warns him that t better not. Joaquín notices the tension.
Tan CERCA DE TI Part 4
ReplyDelete25.Kassandra wants to talk to Joaquín. As soon as they enter is office, his phone rings. She is not happy when he insists on answering it since it is from the house. It is Carmen telling him that Vale is not improving. He has to go home. Kassandra is angry.
26.Facundo and Mario are in the shop fine tuning the motorcycles that Eleazar and Hugo will be using in the race. It is clear that there is still bad blood between them. It seems that Hugo never got the notice from Joaquín that he and Eleazar will be competing to see who will be listed as the starter. He is not happy.
27.Majo brings Diego some food to his room. Carmen sent it.
28.Lorena wants to talk seriously with Claudia. Claudia complains about what her mother posted on social media. It made her look ridiculous. Lorena says she had to communicate with her some way she would notice. Claudia says she will not talk to her until she apologizes. Lorena is beyond shocked and says it is the other way around. Claudia hates her. She is leaving and will never come back.
29. Iván goes to visit Romina. he wants to talk to her about what happened. She has no interest. He has something he needs to tell her. He only needs two minutes. She lets him in.
30.Majo tells Diego that she feels the same way that he feels about her but refuses his kiss. They will not be together until he ends things with Claudia. He says he did. Majo says Claudia doesn't think so and leaves.
31.Vero is busy getting ice for Vale. Joaquín asks what she is doing there. She heard Vale was ill. He asks about her own daughter. She pauses and says she is better. He says she is worrying him. What is wrong? She starts to cry saying she cannot take anymore. He grabs her hand and tells her to tell him. She starts to talk when Kassandra walks in wondering what they rae doing holding hands???
32. Hugo argues against having to compete for his starter label. Marcos tells him these are new times. Hugo thinks the competition will be fixed because Eleazar is Facundo's son. Marcos reminds him he is there , too. Facundo states they are all professionals.
TAN CERCA DE TI Part 5
ReplyDelete33. Vero tries to explain that she was very upset and Joaquín was trying to calm her down by grabbing her hands and then she came in. She wants to make sure that his secretary didn't get the wrong idea. Kassandra makes it clear that she isn't any secretary. She is Joaquín's novia. She doesn't understand anything ing but is tired of finding her in strange situations with her boss. Joaquín tells Vero not to worry because he will take care of the situation. He escorts Kassandra to his office so they can speak calmly. He gives Vero a big thumbs up as he leaves.
34.Romina and Iván both agree that they are now safe and sound but he says that something did happen. She says nothing did. He is referring to when they were together at such a critical time he saw his whole life in her eyes. She thinks he is exaggerating a little bit. All he knows is that he felt something in the deepest part of his heart.
35. A happy Aureliano comes by Consuelo for some food that he could smell from outside on the side walk. He remembers coming home form work and his wife Beatriz would have a plate just like that for him. She asks him what he is talking about. Her sister complained al the time because he never ate at home. and said he never wanted to spend any time with her. He blames his job. Then when he retired, she got sick and was gone. Consuelo says the doctors never knew what was wrong with her but she did. Her sister's body wasn't ill but her soul was. Her life was being extinguished by sadness and guilt. The guilt was over what they did with Vero's baby. Aurelio accuses her of ruining the moment and he leaves.
36. Joaquín tells Kassandra to not be unfair with Vero. She takes issue wth that. He says he explained it all to her. He never found out what was bothering Vero so much because she interrupted them. Kassandra knows what the problem is. Vero wants him for herself. Vero is crazy about him. He looks amused as he reminds her that Vero has a relationship with Facundo. Vero seeks him out to console her. That is her strategy. No employee confides like she does to her employer. He argues that he makes no distinction in the social ranking of people. If a person needs help help, he is there for them just like she is there for them everyday in the house. Kassandra reminds him that he pays her for that. Vero is listening to all of this at the door thinking about what s serpent tongue Kassandra has when Carmen catches her!

ReplyDeleteWho's marriage was already clearly in trouble. Romina succumbing to his "charms" was so disappointing. At least Majo and to a lesser extent Duego are at least trying to be fair to Claudia and they aren't married. How many more times is Kass going to catch Vero and Jiaquin before she finally wises up and gives up?? I love Polito who makes me smile. Whe is Joaquin going to realize Ivan is the boy who called wolf one too many times? So much more i want to say but I'm afraid I'll lose another comment or post prematurely again. Jarifa thank you I'd be so lost without ypur wise insights and clarifications.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Diana. This turning out to be a really good novela. I was impressed with Majo and her insistence that Diego end his relationship with Claudia the right way, too. I agree that Iván is a real slippery snake in the grass. As for Romina, she needs to decide whether she is in or out with Marcos before taking any action. Any scene with Polito si a good one. : )
I liked that Aurelio got blindsided twice by Nico and Consuelo by the one topic he will not deal with. He deserved it. We also have the Nico mystery that he is evidently still tormented by.
This was a very satisfying episode.

Hmm, Padre Nico says "he knows what it is to be broken inside and lying to protect what we love..." Elsewhere, Claudia is screaming about ditching her mom and living with her father if she knew where he was. Coinkydink?
Romina is irritating. Either s___ or get off the pot. She needs to see the reality of Ivan versus his dreamy talk.
Favorite scene: Polito (rightfully) telling Ivan and Olga to shut up.

Is Polita someone important and wellknown?
I have had it with Romina and Ivan . Ivan has been like a dog with a bone about pursuing married Romina,. Marcos was a hero rescuing those two . I'm done with thinking that Ivan was going to become a better man . Enough.
Niecie, I thought that padre must have a child somewhere , but I never connected the dots to Claudia ! I think you're right.
The house should put in a revolving door with people coming and going. Kass, Isaura, and Claudia leave , and Ivan and Majo arrive . Where are they all sleeping?
Still waiting for Aunt Nuria to come to town.

ReplyDeleteNIecie, that would be interesting if Nico ended up being Claudia's father. Yes, that Polito scene was a great one. "Romina is irritating." Yes, if she has her doubts about Marcos, then divorce him and be done with it. Shewouldn;t have to end up with Iván.
Susan, no Polito is just a cheap lawyer with an affinity for astrology and a dedication to St. Jude. He is a real hoot. "The house should put in a revolving door.." All of those people would drive me crazy.I am done with summer. We have had unbearable heat w/humidity and all the smoke down from the 6,000+ wild fires Canada with our air officially labeled as hazardous.

Didn't understand dialogue ..only a word here or there .

Chava,and Rex were necking in a car , and the police showed up . Franco was not happy.
Cata gave swimming lessons to Rex and a seemingly reformed , less screechy Gina.
We saw Franco and Sofia on the ranch ...art project on Franco is over. Now we are outside with a black stallion and bales of hay/straw..lots of kissing while the horse runs around .
Uriel/ Bolero come home to waiting Mario after a night in a hotel. Mario hugs Bolero.
Grecia, Bolero,, and Crazy Gonzo have a meeting . I think Gonzo wants Bolero to do something bad to Sofia, and Bolero refuses. Gonzo punches Bolero while he is sitting . Bo!ero gets up and punches back . uh oh . I guess he is out of a job.
Candeleria is talking to Julian.
Chava takes Barb to a counselor .
Meanwhile , Sofia and Franco are back home , and Franco is making surprises for Sofia ...a garden room with a big " TEAMO" sign and another room with different colored post it notes all over the walls . I wonder what lackey had to put those notes all over the walls.

ReplyDeleteBlue Lass, yes, it's a lot ...but don't miss the art projects and room surprises . These scenes between Franco and Sofia are starting to seem like Sofia, the romance novelist , is just imagining all of Franco's over the top romantic gestures and scenarios .
I'm confused about what Gonzo and Grecia are cooking up. He seems to be trying to weasel himself back into Sofie's mansion and the beer biz. There was an odd meeting between Aramis, Vic, Gonzo, and Grecia. Gonzo is always punching Vic . Vic seems to be a part of Aramis's crime empire , but is Gonzo part of it, too? So many questions . Kassandra Calls it as She Sees It and She is Right
Carmen catches Vero at the door listening. Vero lies and says she was going to offer Joaquín a cup of coffee but then heard Kassandra was there and didn't go in. Carmen sends her back to the kitchen and is tempted to listen herself but she does not succumb.
Joaquín gets flustered and tells Kassandra she is making him feel very uncomfortable with the conversation about Vero.. He sees no reason why he should have to justify himself. She insists something else is going on. He reminds her they were supposed to talk about their relationship.
Joaquín tells Kassandra that he feels the two of them are stuck in the middle of a hurricane. He has to explain how fast things have been happening. Her mother came to stay, then as soon as she and her mother left, his brother and niece came because they were threatened by the mafia. Then Diego's novia had a fight with her mother and is staying there, too. It is crazy. Kassandra understands all that but wants to know where THEY are as a couple. He does not think is is a good time to live together. He wants to wait until the household is back to being sort of normal. Then they can see. She laughs saying she gave up everything for him because she bet they would make it as a couple. He says his decision has nothing to do with that. She asks what does it have to do with? Poor Vero? A woman who cooks for him, listens to him and even moves him? He asks her to stop already. She says no and threatens if he is putting Vero before her, the she has every right to let everyone know he is interested in Vero as a woman. He insists there is nothing going on with Vero. She doubts that since she gets to stay in the house while he is throwing her out. He makes it clear that she is indispensable at the office and Vero is the same at the house. Before she leaves, she tells him she hopes that it isn't too late when he finds out that he gave Vero far too much power.
Kassandra stops off at the kitchen where Vero is mopping the floor. She comments that it is good to finally seeing Vero doing a job that is suited to her.
She advises her to stop her act. She isn't taken in by her "long-suffering woman" persona. She is sure that Vero has secrets hidden under her saintly facade . She promises she will find out what she is hiding and when she does, she will rue the day their paths ever crossed. Vero might have won the battle getting her thrown out but she will win the war because Joaquín is all HERS so Vero better not even think of putting her hands on him or she will be sorry she ever set foot in the house.

ReplyDeleteJoaquín asks Vero what it was she was going to tell him before Kassandra interrupted them. What made her so upset? Vero tries to make light of it. Her daughter is sick and she worries a lot. She left her with an aunt when she saw Vale was sick. It was a lot to deal with. He remarks how sensitive she is when Iván barges in cutting the conversation sort.
Iván is happy to introduce himself to "this beautiful lady". Vero and Joaquín smile. She leaves excusing herself from her "jefecito" and Iván asks Joaquín if she is the one. He knows that his brother has somebody in his heart and it isn't Kassandra..He asks his "jefecito" brother if she is the one again and Joaquín shushes him. They both laugh. Iván says he has never seen his brother look at a woman the way he looks at Vero. A smiling Joaquín admits it is absurd but he does feel something for Vero. He can't avoid it. He likes the way she cares for the kids and the way she looks at him when she thinks he doesn't see her.It is her laughter, goodness, innocence, strong personality. He even liked seeing her fight with the vacuum cleaner. Iván laughs and howls NO!!! He loves what she awakens in him but there are problems. She is going out with Facundo. Iván looks disgusted. (Just like me) Then she works for him and the kids, who are the most important thing in the house, and they need her. Iván says he understands him more than he knows in having a love that is impossible. They smile and agree they have to survive and go on the best they can.
Later that day, Joaquín overhears Vero on the phone with Facundo as they agree to meet for supper. He hears her say that what she likes about him (Facundo) is that, in spite of all of her problems, he always leaves her with a smile. Joaquín looks unhappy.
Romina at the Crossroads
Iván wants to talk to Romina about what he told her when they both thought they were going to die. He said he didn't want to die without tasting her lips. He also says that a kiss of hers would make his whole life worth while. He wants to know if she felt the same.
She is saved by a phone call from Marcos who is checking on her. She says she is doing well and is at home. He remarks that is JUST LIKE WHERE HE LIKES HER TO BE. She has to remind him that she will be GOING BACK TO WORK. He calls her a fool but offers to come home to be with her. She says no need and agrees to make him something good for supper.
She tells Iván that she wants to make it clear that there is nothing going on between them. They are friends. He thinks that he is mixed up because they were so upset in that situation. She was terrorized just like him. She says that she didn't respond to the "kiss" comment because she was so . . . He finishes saying " she was so nervous" and that was why he felt he had to say something shocking to get her back to . . . reality! That was why he wanted to talk to her now so there would be nothing strange between them. It was a case of him seeing a connection where none existed. It was crazy!. It happens when people are under stress. It is a kind of mass hysteria. Romina agrees that is what it was. Neither look like they feel any better.

ReplyDeleteBefore he goes to Isaura's, Aurelio stops off to see Romina. Marcos called him about the kidnapping. She explains that nothing happened to her. She wants to talk about something else. He sarcastically asks if she wants to talk about the weather, then? She has a sort of personal question and if he doesn't want to answer, that is okay. She asks if he and her mother ever had a crisis in their marriage. He thinks Consuelo put her up to it . She says no. He asks if she is having problems with Marcos. She says nothing. He says she was with a "Navarrito" when she was kidnapped. Marcos told him. She says his name is Iván. Her father wants to know if he has to do with anything. She looks surprised but says no. As a matter of fact, she and Marcos have talked and are doing better than ever. Aurelio admits that he got along well with her mother. They had crises in their marriage , as all marriages have, but they were always faithful to to their vows made before God. He admits it wan't easy because, sometimes, God puts a test before you. (We see him remember seeing Consuelo on the street.) He chose not to fall into sin because marriage is a sacred pact. One has to learn how to restrain themself and hang in there!. He warns her how quickly she could lose everything over nothing.
Aurelio's Day
Consuelo tells Aurelio, who hasn't left yet, that she isn't trying to hurt him but she brings the topic up because he still has time to repair the damage that he did by apologizing to his daughter and heal the situation especially now. He asks if that is because the bastard has shown up? He warns her that if he finds out that she . . . Consuelo tells him that she will not be threatened in her own home. He wants to go. She tells him to stay and eat. Everything does't have to end in a fight. Aurelio makes it clear that he is looking for somebody who doesn't judge him. She concludes he has found someone. He answers that he is old enough to know what he is dong. She tells him to leave and adds that you can't change the past no matter what you do in present. He leaves. She cries.
Aurelio makes his way to Isaura's later that day. Kassandra is surprised to see him waiting on her mother when she comes home .Isaura introduces them. He thinks that Kassandra is beautiful like her mother.
Hugo: Still on the Fence?
Hugo is nervous before the trials and calls Nayeli. She has all the confidence in the world in him, He feels like the "powers that be" are waiting for him to mess up so they can get rid of him. She assures him that is not the case. He is her champion. He needed to hear her voice. Eleazar asks if he was talking to Vale. Hugo says of course it was and patronizingly pats him on the arm as he leaves.
Hugo goes to see Nayeli after the race at first pretending that he lost it. She is so excited to hear he won. She tells him she will be there for him at the race tomorrow. He tries to talk her out of coming. She immediately suspects it is because of Miss Fancy Schmancy who will be there and that he didn't make it clear to her that he has a novia. He lies and says it isn't that. She asks if he is embarrassed by her cheering for him. He . . . explains that he is going to be busy so he won;'t be able to see her. She insists she is going to cheer for him anyway. She hugs him and he sort of smiles?
EVERYTHING ELSE
Vero gets a call from her boss. He fires her on the spot for not accepting the award. at the ceremony. He will make sure that no publishing house hires her. Her career is over.
The trials take place to see who will be named as the brand 's starter. Hugo wins.
Majo is still telling Diego that nothing is going on with her until he deals with Claudia. Claudia is still hanging all over Diego.
Claudia tells Vale she wishes her mother wasn't around. Vale cannot believe it What she would give to have her mother with her again!

Vero checks on Vale who is feeling better. Vale tells her that when she had her fever she was sort of in that state where you are neither asleep or awake. It was then she felt that her mother was very close to her. It was beautiful. She assumes Vero doesn't believe in those things. Vero tells her that she does. She adds that it doesn't matter where her mother is, she will always take care of her.
Iván tells Majo that Polo has no news about her mother's case.
Joaquïn "suggests" that Hugo take him, Marcos, Eleazar and Facundo out for beer at the snack bar. to celebrate. Facundo congratulates Hugo. Joaquín makes sure that Eleazar knows that he has noticed how much he has improved. Joaquín tells them all to never forget they are all a team.
Eleazar tries to explain his loss to his father but Facundo has no time for him or his excuses. His mother Lorena tries to offer him a soft shoulder but he rejects her one more time. I hated Hugo lying to Eleazar that he was on the phone cooing to Vale and his shabby treatment of Yaneli. Facundo is causing Eleazar severe emotional damage. At least Romina and mostly unshaven and unkempt Ivan didn't do anything they'd be sorry for; admittedly I would likely have been the sorry one. Marcos the caveman needs enlightenment but is salvageable. I think.
It was surprising Ivan and Vero hadn't met. Not such a small world after all.

ReplyDeleteDiana, I have to admit that recapping this one is turning out to be a lot of fun because it is turning out to be so much better than I expected.
I agree that Hugo needs to come to his senses or , IMHO, Nayeli needs to kick him to the curb. I think that his behavior at the racetrack will be a dead give away. I like that Nayeli is forcing the issue about being there as she should. be if she is his novia.
I am glad that you have faith in Marcos because I don't. I find him stubborn and suffocating. I do not think that Iván is the answer either for Romina.
I enjoyed the scene with Iván bringing up the kiss and then quickly backpedaling when he saw he wasn't getting the reaction he had hoped for from Romina. My favorite scene, though, was Ivàn asking Joaquín if Vero was the one. The writing and acting were so very good and it was so funny.
As for Facundo, he is just a mean and nasty man who, besides abusing Eleazar physically and emotionally, has also poisoned his son's relationship with his mother, too, so the kid has nowhere else to go for any support.
And then there is Aurelio! What a complicated case! Poor Romina! I bet she wished she never asked him if he ever had a crisis in his marriage. He sounded more like a priest than Nico.

Diana, I agree with all your comments. Why is anyone attracted to sloven!y , lazy Ivan , let alone beautiful, young Romina??? I am.giving up on the idea of Ivan turning over a new leaf and becoming his brother's ally .
Irina (Kass) gets better and better at portraying a relentless villain. it might be interesting to see her play a good girl in the future.
Poor Vero ,now she is out of a job .
I am starting to think that the writers are going to redeem Eleazer and that he will eventually turn against his awful father.
At !east we got a break from annoying Olga .
Joachims is very naive for a supposedly successful businessmsn.
What part of " no" doesn't Claudia understand ? It's getting bit ridiculous.
Why pursue someone who obviously isn't interested in you . It's just a lesson in futility.

ReplyDeleteGonzo's big plan is for the company to stage some kind of Renaissance Faire in order to generate media buzz/get the attention of new investors/bring in the young folks/distract the public from Sofia's love life. Everybody seems to think this is a really stupid idea, but nobody has a better one, so I guess they're all going along with it.
In reality, he is hoping to somehow use the event to wrest complete control of the company from Sofia, precisely how is not clear. Grecia's on board; Bolero is not, and gets punched for his trouble, but he reminds Gonzo that he can't fire him because he (dun de DUN) KNOWS TOO MUCH.
The three weird sisters have a rapprochement where they agree to all try to get along for the sake of the family, the kids, and oh yeah, taking Aramis down. For this they need Candelaria because they think she's the one that can get to him. Again, not clear how, but I'm sure it will all be way easier to understand when everyone's wearing medieval masks and jousting on horses. Whatevs.
Speaking of horses, the whole black-stallion-hayride thing was just a figment of Sofia's overactive romance-novelist imagination. Catalina convinced her to consummate her relationship with Franco in print since she can't bring herself to do it IRL, and it's all getting dangerously close to soft porn but Susan wouldn't let me FF.
In other news, Barb has rhabdomyolisis, Carlo wants a separation, Grecia is sure she's having a boy, Emma gets kissed, and Catalina has run out of grown-up clothes again. Oh, and apparently it's illegal in Alternate Mexico to neck in cars, although it's perfectly all right to go out with no pants on.

DeleteJarifa, yes, the scene with Joaquin and Ivan was playful and well done. They seemed like real life bros. If Hugo doesn't give Yaneli her "place" I think she will break up with him. He is turning into such a disappointment. Okay is killing it, she is perfect for her part.

Do you remember any of those shows . Back in the day , A lot of recappers and commenters,were very snarky and hilarious . We made fun of all the crazy and shared many funny thoughts and opinions . The wilder the storylines and characters,...the more fun .we had.
Its hard to tell the difference between what's supposedly " happening "..and what Sofia is writing one of her Romance novels . In one scene , shirtless Franco is walking down the stairs carrying a stick of wood...??!...and then he morphs into weirdo , smirking Gonzo. Wait? What?
You cleared up a lot for me. I noticed Barb seeing herself as fat in a mirror ,so it seems she has body dysmorphia..

To her credit, Romina had problems with Marcos even before Ivan turned up. Marcos being against Romina trying her hand at modeling is selfish to the nth degree. Wondering what it would take to turn Marcos around.
And why does Ivan always look scruffy? His living quarters are excellent. Dude, clean up.

Susan and Diana, I like the look of the Judy Jetson uniforms (but then I own a Star Trek top!). But they seem not forgiving if you gain a little weight.
