Skipping the old....

Cris tells Rosa that Esteban wants kids and she can't give it to him. So she has decided to let him go and see if he comes back.

Acacia pulls away from Esteban's arms and starts to have regrets. Esteban, while groping her, says they have to live their love otherwise they will regret it. We can either go our separate ways or enjoy this love together. She admits she's afraid. He tells her not to think of anything else but living their love. She wants to leave but he stops her. He tells her to think it over. Do you realize what you awaken in me? They start playing tonsil hockey.

Katia tells Hector and Ulises that she found an account that belonged to Nuria but under another name. Ulises excitedly says it should contain all the money Nuria stole. He grabs the file and tries to look at the information but Hector stops him. This will take time to investigate. Allow me to do this. Ulises offers his help. Hector looks at the file and smiles.

Acacia gets a phone call but doesn't know who it's from. Esteban grabs her again and she caresses his back.

Ale leaves Acacia a message. She's worried about her.

Acacia tries to leave but Esteban pulls her back into his arms. I love you he says and kisses her. She finally breaks free and leaves the room. Juliana catches her and asks Acacia what she's doing here. Suddenly Esteban walks out of the room.

German aka big sexy says things are getting worse at the Benevente. Manuel wonders if anything else is going on? German says there is enough problems and suggests he call Acacia. She left in a bad mood this morning. I would but she's upset with me for drinking replies Manuel. And why would you do that asks big sexy. My mother returned to the house says Manuel. I don't know what's going to happen now.

Juliana takes a look at Esteban and Acacia then takes a quick peek into the room, checking out the bed. Esteban tells her that Acacia came for some things regarding the hacienda. Haven’t you returned with Cris asks Juliana. Esteban informs her that they have separated again. No wonder my co-madre is so depressed says Juliana. He says it's not due to him and tells her not to seek out Cris or bother her at this time. You have done enough damage. Juliana tries to defend herself but he doesn't want to hear it. He grabs Acacia's arm and they leave.

Luisa calls the abortion clinic and asks for an appointment. Rosa comes in and asks who she will be seeing. A doctor replies Luisa. I have made the appointment you have asked. She got a recommendation from Ale since she feels to uncomfortable with German's father giving her an exam. Rosa understands and says she will accompany her. She doesn't like Luisa being out alone so late.

Esteban and Acacia are walking down the street and she tells him that she can't go on with this relationship. This is wrong (she wasn't thinking this while playing tonsil hockey with step-daddy) and everyone knows them in town. Can you image what would happen.....but he says it doesn't matter what others think. My marriage is over and we feel the same for each other. Don't be afraid. I will be with you. What we feel is more stronger then anything. He kisses her cheek and they hug. She doesn't know if she is doing the right thing (really?). He again says they love each other. Real love makes you tremble and feel alive. That's why you know this is real. I can no longer live without you. He pulls her in for a kiss. He has to go to the association but will not stop thinking of her. He asks if she will be thinking of him also. She smiles and says of course. He wants her to promise to come back tonight to see him. They have a lot to talk about and that way no one will see them. He kisses her good-bye. Acacia looks around as he leaves.

Ulises pays a visit to the brothel looking for Perla. She walks by the front door and sees it's Ulises. What are you doing here she asks. I brought you some good news replies Ulises. The police have found the account where Nuria kept the stolen money. I am here to ask if you want it back or if you still want the store location. This brings a smile to Perla's face. Ulises admits that he can't give her the location she thought she was buying. Perla understands. That woman is a monster. She tells him to wait while she gets her phone to call Danilo and tell him the great news. Ale walks into the foyer and sees Ulises at the door. She runs up to him and gives him a hug. She is happy to see him and is glad he came to pay her a visit. So you also live here asks Ulises. Ale is confused. She thought he already knew that. Ulises says he's here for Perla. He doesn’t understand how she can accept living under the same roof as Perla.

Luisa is on the phone with Arturo and informs him of her appointment. After hanging up, Rosa walks in all smiles. She's ready to accompany Luisa to the doctor. Luisa says the doctor's office just called and canceled. They will call next week to let me know. Rosa is disappointed but urges her to get a new one for next week. There is a reason things happen. Perhaps I should make Cris something tempting for her to eat. I see her so bad. It's a shame she lost her baby and how her life has changed. Luisa tells Rosa to calm down and she will go into town and bring back some cheeses that might tempt Cris. Rosa tells Luisa to go with god and she gives her grandmother a blessing.

Ulises apologizes for being so direct. He just doesn't understand. You are not the only one replies Ale. But what is more important is seeing you again. I'm glad to see you are now free and resuming the project. He's happy to see her. He always saw her a friend and hope to continue doing so. Of course agrees Ale. Perhaps they can talk later when things are calmer. Ulises says he will return since Perla will need to sign more papers. She says she feels bad with everything that happened with Acacia. Ulises says he doesn't want to talk about it. He just wants to work and move on with his life. Perla runs excitedly and sees Ale. What are you doing here she asks. Ale quickly tells Ulises it was nice seeing him and runs in the house. Ulises has confused look on his face. Perla asks what they were talking about. Ulises says they know each other from way back through Acacia. But that is in the past. Anyway, what did Danilo tell you? That he's on his way replies Perla. Ulises declines her offer to wait for him. He has to visit the other investors but suggests she call him when she gets an answer from Danilo. Perla agrees and says she's glad to see he is out of jail.

Hector comes to pay Cris a visit. He greets German and Acacia. Elenita takes him to see Cris. German notices Acacia's long face and asks if everything is okay. I just hope Hector can get a reaction out of mom replies Acacia. German hopes Hector will take Cris out of her depression so that she can go and seek out Esteban. Acacia has a guilty look on her face.

Cris is alone in her room when Elenita followed by Hector walk in. Cris asks if they don't understand that she doesn't want to talk to anyone. Hector says she has to listen to him.

Luisa walks into the abortion clinic. She tells the nurse she has an appointment.

Cris tells him to leave. He tells her to calm down and talk like the friends they are. He tells Elenita to leave them alone. Cris turns her back to Hector and he comes up behind her asking why she doesn't want to talk to him. I have no interest in doing so replies Cris. I want everyone to leave me alone. I know you feel bad says Hector but Cris stops him. You have no idea what it feels like. I feel empty. Perhaps I have not lived it the way you have but I understand the feeling. This pain is blinding you. Don't you realize that there are people who need you. Cris doesn't agree. Esteban left the house and Acacia is on his side. Because you are pushing them away replies Hector. You have lost a child but they are losing you. Your daughter still needs you and Esteban....if you love him try and make an effort to recoup the man that has made you happy all these years. The only thing I want is my baby says Cris. I don't understand why I lost that baby and is not here with me. She yells for him to leave.

Luisa tells the doctor she doesn't want to listen to anything she has to say. She just has to do this now. The doctor wants her to make a conscious decision on what she wants to do. There are other options you need to look into. Like adoption? Luisa says she has no other choice.

Perla excitedly tells Memo about her store. Memo congratulates her. She needs the money since she has stopped taking clients. Memo promises to work hard and help her out so they can leave all this behind them. Perla reminds him that it can't happen. Memo disagrees. They will have everything that they have dreamed of. They kiss.

Elenita apologizes for the way Cris spoke to Hector. He wishes he could do more. They walk into the living room and Acacia is waiting for news. Elenita admits that she and JC don't know what else to do. Hector doesn't understand why he thought he could help. If her own husband couldn't do it.....Acacia angrily says she doesn't understand her mother. Hector tells her to have patience. For now, nothing can be done. He tells them to take care of her and leaves. Acacia can't believes her mother treated Hector badly. If anything happens, it's all on her. She leaves a confused Elenita.

Esteban is in his room waiting for Acacia. He paces the room and decides to call her. We see he has a spread ready for her. She's in the lobby of the hotel and gets a text. It's Esteban saying he's waiting for her.

Luisa goes to Arturo's home and falls into his arms. He asks her what happened. I just came from the clinic says Luisa. I couldn't do it. No matter what happens, I will have my son.

Knock on the door and Esteban opens it to find Rubio. He walks in and congratulates him on finding what he wanted. The takes a grape and eats it. Esteban gives him the stink eye.

Arturo is happy on her news and promises to help her out. Luisa appreciates his support but she has to move ahead on her own. It's time she thought of herself and her baby. He understands but doesn't want her to leave El Soto. If you do, it will kill your grandmother. It will kill her knowing I failed replies Luisa. He doesn’t' agree. Don;t you think she will love a baby that;s yours? You don't know her says Luisa. She will have me run off the hacienda. She has to go but he stops her. He will take her home.

Esteban grabs Rubio by the collar and says he's running the dinner he planned.

Acacia is in the hallway and can't make herself open the door to Esteban's room. Inside Esteban says Acacia is on her way to talk with him about her mother. Rubio says JC sent him. Acacia has gone missing, Cris is still the same and the cows are all sick.

Rosa informs Cris that JC sent Rubio to bring back Esteban. They need help with the sick cows. When he comes talk to him. Cris says she will not leave her room. I can't see him. If I have him close, I will not be able to resist. I will beg him to return and I cannot do that. If he returns, it's because he loves me.

Rubio explains the cows conditions. Esteban believes it's possible fever. If it's not contained, all the other animals can become sick. The vet will not be there until tomorrow. He tells Rubio to go and he will be at the hacienda shortly. Rubio leaves and Esteban makes a call.

JC tells German that Rubio has gone to retrieve Esteban and would appreciate it if he came by.

Hector walks into the living room with Elenita and JC is not happy to see him. Elenita admits she called him to come over. She is worried about their daughter. She didn't even react when she found out the cows were sick. Hector tells JC to allow him to try. They can't have her getting worse.

Acacia is in the hotel lobby and gets a call from Esteban. She ignores it. He gets her voice mail and he says he was waiting for her but changes his mind. Instead he says he found out the cows are sick and count on him to help her. He will see her later.

Hector enters Cris's room. You again asks Cris. I will come visit you for as long as it takes. You are wasting your time replies Cris. Hector doesn't agree. He will never give up on her and if needed, pull her out of the room by force so she will react. She can't keep living like this. Cris asks him to help her. She cries in his arms.

Danilo is playing with tarot cards and Perla is talking excitedly about the store. She has decided to call it “The Beautiful Pearl”. Danilo says it's not going to happen. He has to stay far away from Ulises. It says it in the cards. Perla reminds him that the investigation is over. It's better to keep him close but Danilo doesn't agree. He tells her to forget about the location and her business. She thinks he's kidding but finally realizes he's serious.

Hector tells Cris to get on with her life for her and her daughter. Not for Esteban. He has left. It doesn't matter replies Cris. I have already decided to let him go since I cannot give him a child. He asks if love is not a sacrifice? I would be the first to advise you to leave Esteban if you no longer love him. But you do and you have to fight for him. He brought her a photo album filled with pictures of them at the university. She says she can't but he begs her too. I want you to remember the young woman who was brave and strong. Who wanted all her pictures to be displayed in New York, Paris and Australia. Cris says he is wasting his time. That woman no longer exists. Hector disagrees. Only a woman with such passion running through her veins can reclaim her life again. Cris doesn’t agree. She doesn't have the strength to start over. She feels empty. Hector believes she can overcome this. Take this time alone to find yourself. I ask that afterward you think everything over. Why asks Cris. So you can get better and I get close once again to you. I want to protect you. Be the woman that you truly are. If you don’t' want Esteban back again, allow me to be more of a friend to you.

Perla with tears in her eyes reminds Danilo that he promised to set up a business for her. Danilo again tells her no. She recalls him telling her she's too old to be working at the brothel and can't be the administrator anymore. She doesn't want to end up alone with no money. Danilo says he told her he would care for her. Perla whines and cries. Danilo ignores her and plays with his phone. Perla calls him a liar. You were lying to me this whole time. He tells her to calm down but she keeps at it. He finally yells at her to shut up. He leaves and Ale walks in and asks what he did to her?


Hector comes out of the room and tells Elenita and JC that Cris finally reacted. Elenita thanks him for his help. JC also thanks him for worrying over Cris's emotional welfare. He apologizes for what happened in the past. Hector says there's no reason. Cris is his daughter and he was just watching out for her. I admit I love her but don't want to cause any more problems like before. Elenita says they know he only has good intentions with their daughter. Hector says he will come everyday if need be, to make sure she has decided to resume her life. JC warns Hector for having any hope of being with Cris. Hector understands that Cris loves Esteban but that doesn't mean he won't help her get better. That is all that is important.

Ale tells Perla that she will try and convince Danilo to set up the store. Perla reminds her that she doesn't want to owe her favors. Ale says all these years suffering because of Danilo and you are still blinded. I am not your enemy and you owe me nothing. Perla thinks Ale has ulterior motives and it isn't going to work. I am the one that was there when you escaped. I had to deal with it all. It's always me. She walks away crying.

Acacia comes running into the house. JC wonders where the heck she has been all night. Elenita has been calling. Acacia apologizes but she had her phone in her purse and didn't hear it. JC says they have been worried. There is a problem here. I know that the cows are sick replies Acacia. How do you know asks JC. We just told Esteban about it.

Esteban yells at Rubio. He notices the some cows are still well and others are definitely sick. The cows need to be kept in separate locations for at least a week. Rubio says it's too late to do anything about it tonight. Esteban says he ran into German. He will lend us some workers so they can help you.

Acacia says she got a call from Esteban telling her about the cows. Where were you asks JC. Acacia admits she was in El Soto. He asks her why she's so nervous. Because I feel awful that you were worried about me and with everything going on with the cows replies Acacia. He tells her that Esteban is with Rubio looking at the situation. Acacia says she has to check to see if they need any help and runs out.

German tells Norberto things are dicey at the Beneviente and asks if he can get some workers from the finca to help out. Norberto agrees. Manuel decides to go over and see if Acacia needs anything. German thinks it's a better idea if Manuel joins the workers and check their cows. Then later on you can go to the hacienda. He leaves and Norberto advises Manuel to watch everything that German does. He doesn't want to look like a fool in front of Acacia. Also find out from Luisa when she plans to abort the child.

Acacia walks up to Esteban and asks him how bad the situation is? He says they will wait and see what the vet says. He believes they can save most of them although about half of the cows are infected. She feels bad that the cows are sick. He tells her that they could suffer economically if the cows die but promises to help her. He changes the subject and says he was waiting for her. Why didn't you come? Because there was no reason to replies Acacia. That doesn't matter now that the hacienda is having problems. That is why I am here replies Esteban. To help you. I want you to know you can always count on me. Acacia says it can't happen. He is no longer at the hacienda and found out from Ale that he has a business going with Danilo. It's best he deals with his new business and stays away from her. Esteban says he can't. I can't live without you. I know you want to be with me. He kisses her and she puts a stop to it. She reminds him they are at the hacienda. He says he doesn't care about anyone or anything. Just you. He kisses her again and she kisses him back.

Juliana spots German and goes to greet him. He refuses her hug and says he can't believe she returned with Norberto. She believes even after everything that happened, they can try and make their relationship work. German doesn't believe her. You are doing it for the money since you don't have any. You are just like Ale. Juliana slaps him. How dare you compare me to that woman? German points out that she knows it's the truth.

Acacia finally pulls herself out of Esteban's arms and tells him to quit acting crazy. Crazy over you says Esteban. Acacia says this can't happen again. You have no idea how bad I felt when my grandparents where asking me where I was. But nothing happened replies Esteban. Calm down. He kisses her again. She sees Rubio and pushes out of his arms. She pretends they were talking about the cows. He plays along then gets a phone call. Danilo calls asking where he's at. They were suppose to meet up to talk business. He admits he forgot and explains there's a crisis at the hacienda. He promises to see him in the morning. Danilo tells him not to bother. It appears you don’t' care about this new business. Esteban says it was an emergency but promises to see him tomorrow. Danilo is concerned if there business will succeed with him occupied elsewhere. Esteban hangs up and Acacia asks if everything is okay. Is the going to have problems? He says the most important thing right now is to help her. Rubio keeps looking at them.

Luisa holds her stomach and asks the baby to forgive her for even thinking of getting rid of him. You are not at fault for all my mistakes. Or the bad father I choose for you. I will find a way and be the best mother.

Esteban tells Acacia she can always count on him. Acacia doesn't agree. My mother....suddenly Cris says she's hear to ensure everything is saved. She thanks Esteban for coming but he is no longer needed. She calls Rubio over and says he will now take the place that Esteban once held.
