"CORAZON INDOMABLE" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION

Howdy from the Alamo City CarayCaray Family. Here's my personal thoughts on Part I of the Gran Final:
1.) Crazy Doris knocking on the door of Octavio's apartment. She was so annoying & when the cleaning lady tells Doris that Octavio left, we know Crazy Doris got all uppity.
2.) We see Octavio looking for Maricruz, who has fallen into utter disgrace LOL.
3.) Maricruz has both Juanita & Lupita staying with her while MC looks like for employment. Must be hard having an epic downfall isn't it ?
4.) Over at Clementina's residence: We see Lupita playing with Clementina's jewelry until Buji Meche shows up OMG.
5.) Laughed when Juanita puts Buji Meche in her place by saying that Octavio Navarez is Lupita's father.
6.) MC daydreams about Octavio, before getting a stern talking to from the Boss & what's her face warns MC to NOT walking alone at night & consider getting a cab, but MC declines.
7.) Prideful MC walks alone AT NIGHT before she gets robbed, roughed up & stabbed in the left shoulder OMG.
8.) Law enforcement FINALLY showed up when the scumbag stabs MC.
9.) Sometime later on, we see MC in her hospital bed waking up & when one of the nurses informs MC that law enforcement will want to question her: MC freaks out & leaves the hospital....
10.) MC shows up at Clementina's residence: Juanita opens the door, who pays the cab & Clementina rushes into the living room & discover what happened.
11.) Octavio rushes over to the hospital (upon finding out about MC's attack) only finding out from one of the young women in the hospital room that MC left.
12.) In the meantime over at Clementina's residence: we see MC laying on Alfie's bed & completely out of it while Clementina, Juanita & some old doctor dude watching.

Anita was being a brat about the recent stuff. She asked why there were so many years between her and Angel. Pascual and Victoria looked at each other.
Rolando and Maggy talked about his vision issues. He was afraid of surgery but still hated his glasses.
Pascual and Vicki ended up lying to Anita.
Patricia was served with the restraining order and a suit for defamation of character. She accused Antonio of being Aurora's accomplice. He took out the photo and demanded an explanation.
Jezabel asked Aurora about the restraining order. Demon made disparaging comments about “poor people” and that Angel should not be allowed back in the office for security reasons, Aurora got on his case for his comments about Angel whom she will not allow to be terminated.
Patricia denied being the woman in the photo [If I remember this photo correctly it didn't look like her]. Briana got up to say something and Antonio said he always suspected that Patricia had hidden something about her past. [As in she is not Briana's egg donor?].
Helena tried to defend Angel but Jezabel took Demon's side. Someone mentioned the security cameras [so bring on the footage!]. Aurora said she had not been able to get Rocha on the phone.
Later, Aurora told Angel she did not believe what she had been told. Sine he looked disturbed Aurora knew this was about Helena. He told her what happened and she told him about her father's obsession with appearances. Cassandra saw and heard this; she later gossiped to the Lunch Crew. Aquiles and Glorio argued again.
Jezabel tried to get JC to believe he needed to keep Aurora at home to keep her away from Antonio.
Rocha told Jezabel he was there to see Aurora. She shoved a folder at him and threatened him with exposure. He chickened. She put a piece of broken glass in his hand, then closed it so he was cut in the palm. She grinned at his reaction.
Aurora and Helena talked. Helena once thought she would spend the rest of her life with Demon, but Aurora knew that she loved Angel.
Antonio and Angel spoke in the office. Antonio said “You are in love with my daughter.” Angel was afraid of the class prejudice, which Antonio did not support. He told Angel that his lack of wealth was of no importance to Helena.
Helena tried to tell Aurora that Angel is a co-worker but this began a misunderstanding with Demon. The touched on Helena seeing the kiss and agreed to talk again.
JC was thinking about Luis when Antonio tried talking to him about events of 30 years ago. He handed a file to him but Jezabel, Demon, and Aurora entered to read some important document. Cassandra came in with a tray of bubbly. Jezabel toasted a quote of her father's: “Money kills love.” [¡Perra!]

Anita called Helena, saying that her parents didn't love her. Helena could not believe that but somehow Anita manipulated Helena into meeting her in the park.
Maggy seemed to be warning Helena about Brenda who then showed up just in time to prevent her saying the worst. After she walked away Angel arrived and Helena did not want to talk about this. She told him about Anita's call and asked him to call Vicki to get her permission for the meeting.
Rolando almost got caught be a classmate in the wrong classroom when he tried to steal more phones.
Pascual went to the hospital to get Vicki's test results. He was made to pay first [WTF?] and sent to see Dr Rubio.
Briana tried to get Maggy to tell her what she told Helena. She said “nothing” [nothing that was not in her own best interests] but Briana threatened her if she said anything to Aurora.
Helena called Vicki who said something about her test results and money. Helena was willing to help.
Rolando called Pintas to tell him he has almost been caught. Pintas was angry. Anita entered and knew something was fishy. Rolando asked if he could go with her to the park.
Rocha began getting drunk as he thought of Jezabel's threats.
El Morro wanted to know what Pintas was up to with Rolando. Pintas didn't tell him everything but El Morro didn't like this.
Rocha – by then falling-down drunk – tried to get into a lounge but was not admitted.
Dr Rubio told Pascual that Vicki and Angel had to be there.
Rocha went down to the parking garage. With Jezabel's voice echoing in his head he stumbled in front of a moving car and was hit.
Dr Rubio finally told Pascual about Vicki's condition. He was shocked and sad.
Demon entered Helena's office pretending to be sad. He then told her that s father had killed his own father,
Briana looked at Angel who then told her that although she was pretty he was in love with her sister. Briana was peeved.
Aurora told Antonio she was going to marry JC... who then came in without knocking.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like we're about to unearth a new skeleton in the closet. That would explain a lot.
Since this could be 100+ episodes I think we will see at least one marriage that should not happen and I hope Helena has Norplant or a Nuvaring.
If nobody else can take care of tomorrow's episode I can do it over the weekend if my cable company doesn't screw up.

I get a kick out of the look on Antonio's face whenever Angel moves towards him like a magnet and gives him a huge hug. The call of the blood.
I didn't see the photo that Antonio showed to Pat.

ReplyDeleteThanks Urban, I enjoyed the recap. I was surprised to think Briana might not be Patricia’s daughter. The woman is not at all motherly so strange that she would have someone else’s child.
Hope there’s not a bunch of wrong marriages! Since we just witnessed that in the previous telenovela. I hope Helena takes another break from Demon. He’s so obnoxious.
Rolando might be Pinta’s downfall. He’s not a natural thief and is bound to get caught and tell all.
I worry about Angel. There’s too many out to get him to have smooth sailing.
I hate that Vicki is so seriously ill. It looks like money is needed for treatment, it doesn’t seem that Pascual works.
I’m glad JC seems to be suspecting Jezabel is his son’s love. I hope he puts a stop to it but I’m not crazy about the kid. He says he’s happy about Aurora but then tells her she better not come between him and his dad.
The poor detective recognized to late who he was working for. And she took being called the devil a compliment.

Angel/Aurora. Another great recap, Urban! Very cute interaction between Angel and Anita. They do act like real siblings. The gossipy employees don't realize that the attraction between Aurora and Angel is that between mother and son. If I'm not mistaken, Angel did stress that he has had some university education and would like to finish. Demian is such a snob! But we knew that. Oh oh! As if she weren't evil enough, Jezabel is now a murderer as well as a sadist.

13.) MC & Octavio FINALLY get reunited: we see several flashbacks on how they met & overcame several obstacles. While that was going on, Juanita takes Lupita away from the room while Lupita's parents continued making up.
14.) In the meantime, Bag Lady Maria shows up on the grounds of Clementina's mansion. The whole sequence of Bag Lady Maria in the closing stretch of this Telenovela was completely unnecessary.
15.) We see more of the lovefest between MC & Octavio.
16.) Meche wants to attend the wedding of Octavio & MC, but her annoying mother, Classist Celia isn't having any of it & wants nothing to do with the sham of a wedding.
17.) Francisco & Clementina will be the sponsors of the upcoming wedding of Octavio & Maricruz (MC).
18.) Over at the bachelor pad: Octavio & Miguel discuss Octavio's upcoming wedding with MC; We also see Miguel & Miguel, Jr., planning on moving to another house.
19.) Wedding Day: We also see Bag Lady Maria in attendance: OMG: Go away Bag Lady.
20.) Octavio's sidekick, Eduardo in his uniform (Octavio is also in his uniform) & his wife, Aracely in attendance at the wedding; plus Aracely is super PREGGERS.
21.) MC looks like the Goddess of Nature: WOW: Ana Brenda Contreras is super amazing.
22.) Plus we also see Solita (Gaby Mellado) attending the wedding too: she's still got the pigtails & super PREGGERS.
23.) Solita gets her prince charming, who's also attending the wedding of Octavio & MC.
24.) Over in Mexico City: Natasha, Liz & the other artist friends presenting Anibal's painting, Liberacion. Later on, we see Natasha visiting Anibal's gravesite.
25.) Wedding of MC & Octavio ends in a great happily ever after: we see Juanita dancing with the little kids; Meche dancing with some dude & Buji Celia is triggered LOL. While everyone is having a good time at the wedding party festivities, we see Octavio & MC kissing as the slow closing credits are being shown.

ReplyDeleteSpanProf, I just rewatched Thursday's episode. Jezabel had driven Rocha to drink but likely hired a hit man to run him down. In his stupor Rocha hallucinated that Jezabel was driving the car. However, it almost looked like the same black car that Pintas got away in and I think Jezabel also drives a black car.
#29's recap will be written today as I need to rewatch the episode, which was even heavier on dialogue.
