So here’s the thing. I’m on vacation now and didn’t get to the show until about half way through. Good news is that I think the first half was mostly about Isabel telling Alberto who she really is because the last half that I did see was the fallout. Or the start of the fallout. So if someone can fill in details for the first part, I’ve recapped the rest below. And doing this on the phone so sorry about any weird spellchecks.
Velvet
ReplyDeleteMonday, 45, last half of the show
Isabel, after telling Al she’s his mother, wobbles into he atelier while thinking about their conversation. It didn’t go well and she almost passes out. Blanca comes over to help and Isa says she “told him and he didn’t believe me”. The girls ask about this but Blanca says it’s nothing and she’ll take care of Isabel.
Later, she tells Ana about him taking the truth badly. Blanca, still there, says she has to give him time. It’s hard for him to Isa says Cris also knows and threatened her. Al never wants to see her again and wants her out of Velvet.
Clara comes to see Mateo. He gives her a gift as a peace offering. Clara isnt having it after he believed Barbie over her. He apologizes for his error and when she opens the box, it looks like purple heels, which she rejects so her taste isn’t all bad
Emilio talks to Isa who doesn’t want to leave. She wants to talk to Al again but Emilio knows him and says to give him time to calm down.
Al, meanwhile, orders Ric to bring him Emilio’s head. Or maybe just Emilio but there’s a tone there. After Ric leaves, Al fills Mateo in on the whole “madre” thing.

ReplyDeleteMonday, 45
Isa and Emilio are still hashing things out and Isa is not doing well. He goes to get water for her pills while she begs god for more time.
Al now confronts Ana while looking for Emilio. He asks if she knew. She says yes and he is not happy with her. He has proof that Isa is a killer and won’t listen to Ana, who tries to defend Isa.
Cris comes to Valeria to tell her about the whole thing. Val is surprised to find out Al’s mom is Isa, who Cris says is dangerous. She’s also worried about the scandal is people find out that Al’s mom is a killer. Which they wouldn’t find out if everyone would quit telling everyone else about it. These people are terrible at secrets.
Carlos, who we hate now, is working when Sara interrupts and tells him she wants nothing more to do with Velvet or the contract. It’s personal and she won’t tell him why. But it’s an order.
Ana fills in Marga and Luisa on the whole “madre” “scandal” and about Isa’s health issues. Carlos calls and seems she forgot to meet him for a date. He tells her it’s fine and to take her time, he lives her, blah blah, but his face says he’s quite annoyed.
Val has gone to Enrique with the “madre” “scandal” and tells him her mom said this worried about this dangerous woman. Enrique is worried about the effect on Velvet, as though New Yorkers would care.
Ric is at Luisa, busy sewing away. Marga and Luisa come in and Ric jokes (sort of jokes) that he’s a better seamstress than Marga. She has to inspect his work and is impressed. He’s good. He’s also a good guy who found someone to help Luisa with her singing career. She has to go somewhere for this and Ric will go with her, but then who will care for Michael? But yay for Marga because she offered to babysit. (Thankfully no Pedro today unless he was around earlier).

Isa is still resting when someone knocks on the door. Val and Enrique are standing there looking like grims reaper and demand to know if it’s true. Val is rude and Enrique says they will defend Gloria. (Not sure what this is about- pretty sure Gloria can defend herself). They offer to pay her to leave and threaten her if she goes to the press (because the Times has nothing better to write about).
Alberto is at home talking to Gloria, who is as empathetic as you’d expect. There is a long conversation with these two and I missed it, but in the end, Gloria says Isa had an amante and hurt Ben. She lied about everything, basically, so being her usual self.
Back at Isa’s, Emilio has come in and told the reapers they can’t be there (even though they own the building?)
And were out.

Velvet Ep. 45
ReplyDeleteK., here's a bare bones account of what I I recall of the first part of tonight's episode. I see that you've now written a lot more than I'd expected, and so probably much of what I've said just covers the same ground, but I thought I'd post it just in case there's something of use.
Cris comes to see Sara. She warns Sara not to come between Alberto and her or she (Sara) will be sorry. Sara is calm, seems somewhat contemptuous of Cris. Tells her that her fling with Alberto isn't fun anymore.
Rick comes up to Luisa at Velvet and asks her to help him with a customer: Randy Brave. Luisa is stunned, she's a huge fan of Randy Brave. Rick tells her he's here at Velvet, and she should come with Rick to see him. Rick tells Randy that Luisa is a very good singer. He plays a video on his phone of her singing. (I thought the sound on the phone was terrible. She's a much better singer than the video made her seem, but I'm apparently the only one who is unhappy with the video.) Anyway, it turns out that Randy is there with his wife, and Luisa goes with the wife to help her choose some outfits.
Val comes to see Enrique. She's somewhat upset, because she kicked her mother out of the house. No, she didn't have her committed, she sent her off to the Hamptons. Enrique assures Val that in time, she'll realize that she did the right thing.
Carlos comes to see Isabel. He tells her that the doctors have told him her condition is very poor. She really needs to start dialysis at once, and she can no longer work. Carlos wants this meeting to be a secret. I'm not sure why. What's most important is that the smile on Carlos' face disappears as soon as he isn't facing Isabel. I again have the feeling that Carlos is a a weirdo and a fraud, and perhaps dangerous.
Barbie tells Enrique that she'd like the two of them to travel to Italy. When he says he has too much work to do, she says she'll visit her parents in Los Angeles for two weeks, during which time Enrique will take care of the problems at Velvet, and then they'll go to Italy. He says he'll try, but he can't promise.
Ana meets with Carlos. She says someone has told her that he did something (I don't recall what) to someone at his company. She mentions the name Kelly (or perhaps Kitty) Mendez. Carlos says he doesn't know anyone by that name, and he never did anything bad to anyone.
That's about all I can fill in about the first part of the episode. The main thing that happens in the episode is that Isabel tells Alberto that she's his mother, and he doesn't believe her. Much of the rest of the episode deals with how he and others respond to the revelation.
Bahar #6
ReplyDeleteNot as much action in this episode. Bahar starts her residency. Mom, dad and son drive to work together but yes, they all are pretending to not know each other which creates some comedic elements. One of the residents likes older women and he is interested in Bahar, much to Uras dismay. When Bahar has difficulty putting in a catheter (IV line as I know it) on a patient she realizes she needs practice and the curly haired resident offers his arm as help which Uras hears and spies on them as it sounds like something else is going on.
It's the daughters 16th birthday this episode and they are having a family celebration. Mom and daughter plan to do things together, but of course Timur nixes that by making Bahar have to do a second shift at the last minute just to spite her. His and Rengin's plan is to make work so miserable that Bahar quits.
Nevra is being extra sweet to Bahar this episode, buying her an expensive designer bag as she starts her new residency. It should be noted Bahar did not use that bag when she went to work in a very bold outfit of red pants purple shirt and her pink beret.
Rengin is meeting her husband for dinner. Apparently he lives in the US and seldom is in town. I didn't quite follow what he threatened her with but he knows about her affair. After she leaves she is pretty upset and crying as she drives home. Not so fast, there is an emergency at the hospital, a MVA with an 8 month pregnant victim who is in labor. The second or 3rd year resident, Cevra I think, tells Bahar to call Rengin as she is the OB specialist I guess. Evren helps stabilize the 22 year old girl until Rengin arrives. Baby is in danger, but Bahar reassures mother everything will be fine. Bahar was her labor coach through the delivery. Evren feels this is why she belongs and Rengin has a different (valid view) that Bahar should not make promises they may not be able to keep. Rengin has delivered many a baby that didn't get to be held by their mother and many babies whose mother didn't make it.
So it looks like this next stage of the show will be more medical stories with some comedy thrown in. Let's hope they are somewhat realistic medical stories.
"VELVET"
ReplyDeleteNovelera: Thanks for the recap of last night's episode. It seems like the Antagonists keep finding ways to get more slippery.
"VELVET"
ReplyDeleteI meant to say Juanita. OOPS!
velvet
ReplyDeleteK. I loved your account of most of last night's episode. I especially loved your humor, such as "when [Clara] opens the box, it looks like purple heels, which she rejects so her taste isn’t all bad," and Val and Enrique (I think) "threaten her if she goes to the press (because the Times has nothing better to write about)." Oh, and also Cris is "worried about the scandal if people find out that Al’s mom is a killer. Which they wouldn’t find out if everyone would quit telling everyone else about it."
The reason Val and Enrique say they'll defend Gloria is at least in part because Isabel claims and has proof that she and Benjamin married in Mexico before Gloria married Benjamin, making Isabel his rightful heir. Isabel also claims that Gloria tried to have her killed, and perhaps that Gloria was responsible for the murder of whoever it was that Isabel was convicted of killing. In other words, Gloria has a LOT to hide.
Alberto doesn't come off well in this episode. Especially his coldness toward Isabel, and his statement to Ana that he "won't forgive Emilio, Isabel, or you." Of course, he'll eventually change his mind.
I might mention that toward the end of the episode, Gloria tells Alberto that he has "a lot of bad blood in his veins" (from Isabel the supposed murderer). When Alberto asks why his father never told him about her, Gloria says that Benjamin was embarrassed at having been fooled by a hussy.
One thing I don't understand is why Carlos wants what he says to Isabel at this meeting to be kept secret. Indeed, the entire meeting apparently should be kept secret. All I know is that he's up to no good.
Bahar
ReplyDeleteI’ll re-join you guys next week. My niece is visiting from out of town, so I’ll catch this show up on the weekend. Have fun!
Velvet Ep. 46 p. 1 of 2
ReplyDeleteBoth Valeria and Enrique are badmouthing Isabel. Val asks Emilio how he could sneak an ex-convice into Velvet. She predicts that Isabel will be Velvet's downfall. Emilio is fed up listening to them. He tells them, "I've asked you nicely to leave, but I can also use force if necessary." Val says she'll leave out of respect for Emilio. Enrique follows her with his usual smirk on his face.
The scene changes to Gloria's house. Gloria is talking to Alberto. She tells him "If Isabel hadn't killed her lover, your father would have been ruined." Alberto asks why Isabel would kill her lover. Gloria says she doesn't know, but Isabel was an addict, and addicts are capable of anything. Gloria says that after Isabel gave birth to Benjamin's child while in prison, Benjamin took the child back to New York. "I forgave him (for his adultery), and I agreed to raise you." Alberto replies, "You didn't raise me, Gloria, the nannies raised me." Gloria accuses him of being ungrateful and says it's in his genes. Alberto responds, "You're full of resentment and hatred. Not even Valeria wants to be near you." Gloria replies, "We're so different, Alberto." "Yes, we are" he says.
There's a brief scene of Luisa (with a very different hairstyle) singing at the bar. She's very animated, as is the crowd.
Meanwhile, Isabel is lying in bed. She regrets having taken a sedative. She wants to tell Alberto she has loved him from from the moment she knew she was pregnant. She dreamed of kissing his childhood wounds, and congratulating him when he graduated, and walking him down the aisle at his wedding. The sedative has set in, and she's asleep.
Alberto refuses to see Isabel.
Carlos arrives. He tells Ana that Isabel is in worse shape than anyone realizes. She doesn't have much time left. The next relapse will be fatal. Ana asks why he didn't tell her about this. He claims that Isabel asked him not to tell her or her uncle.
Cris is looking for Alberto. Unsuccessfully.
Esteban arrives unexpectedly at Blanca's apartment. He tells her he needs to talk to her. "Alberto's family thinks I'm here for the money. I want you to hear my side of the story. When my father died, he left everything to Benjamin. He didn't trust me." Blanca asks why Esteban didn't contact her. He tells her Benjamin said that I shouldn't. He also told me you had an abortion. I imagine he wanted to keep me away. Then I met Mary. Benjamin suggested that I should marry her. Again, I think he knew that if I married her, I would stay in London and not return to New York. We had a child, Sofia. And then, after some years, Mary died. I was happy with her, but after she died, I realized that I had never really loved her. My one true love was in New York."
Carlos tells Isabel that Oaxaca is the best place for her. Isabel reluctantly agrees. "If my son thinks I'm a criminal, there's no point in staying here. I wrote a letter to my son." She hands the letter to Emilio, who says he'll give it to Alberto.
Rick shows some of the Velvet crew a video of Luisa singing, and Randy Brave applauding. His wife told Randy that Luisa should be a backup singer for him. Everyone is very happy for Luisa.
Carlos says Isabel is going to Oaxaca in a private jet. Emilio will take leave and go with her.
Velvet Ep. 46 p. 2 of 2
ReplyDeleteMateo asks Clara to get him a copy of an article on the ManHat scene today. She finds it and is stunned to see it's called "A true love story between Mateo Andrade and his assistant, Clara Hernández." Clara is ecstatic.
Emilio goes to give Isabel's letter to Alberto. He tells Alberto that Isabel was the love of your father's life. Alberto wants to know why Emilio never told him anything about this. "I was following Benjamin's orders. He didn't want you to know. Isabel is your mother. She deserves respect. She always asked about you." Alberto replies, "If he loved her, he wouldn't have abandoned her." Emilio tells him that Benjamin believed all the lies he was told about Isabel. Alberto asks, "You expect me to believe she didn't kill her lover?" "He wasn't her lover," replies Emilio. "He was a goon hired to kill Isabel. They argued, there was a struggle, the gun went off, and he was dead." Alberto asks, "Who would hire someone to kill my mother?" "She acted in self-defense," Emilio replies. Alberto responds, "The charges say something different. There must be a reason my father thought she was guilty. Nothing you say will make me change my mind." Emilio replies, "in that case, you'll receive my resignation, effective immediately. Isabel returns to Mexico today, and I am going with her. I won't abandon her." Emilio takes out the envelope with Isabel's letter. He tells Alberto, "Your mother wrote this for you. If you have any decency, read it."
Ana gives Isabel two Carmen Garza dresses to wear when she goes out. Isabel promises that she will visit Ana's mother's grave. Ana hugs Isabel and tells her she hasn't felt such a strong bond since her mother died. Also, she's never seen Emilio so happy. Isabel tells her that she and Emilio dated many years ago, but she fell in love with Benjamin. "I often think that if I had married Emilio, I'd have been happy."
The scene switches to Isabel and Emilio at the airport. Their plane is about to start boarding. Isabel has a minor health issue, but she seems to be OK. Just as they get up to leave, Alberto comes through the door of the room where they've been waiting. "I read your letter," he tells her. "I want to hear you out." Isabel is thrilled. "You have no idea how long I've waited for this." But then she passes out in Alfredo's arms.
Cris finds Alberto and warns him about Isabel. But mostly what seems to trouble Cris is the bad publicity that may result, headlines reading "Alberto Márquez's mother is a murderer!" She goes on, "You and Velvet will be dragged through the mud." Alberto tells her he has made up his mind, he won't abandon Isabel. Cris assures him she'll be at his side, no matter what. (Somehow, I doubt that Alberto finds that reassuring.)
Val comes upon the other seamstresses laughing and enjoying themselves. She asks why they aren't at work. They then head back to work, but Luisa says she wants to talk to Val.
Rodrigo comes to Velvet. He sees Marga, knows that she and Ana are friends, and tells her he's worried about Ana. He mentions Kathy Mendez, who dated a very wealthy man and then disappeared. The man was Carlos Aristizábal. He tells Marga that Ana doesn't believe him, but Carlos is not a good person.
There's an amusing scene at Mateo's mother's house. We find that Emily, the dog, needs a psychiatrist. We also meet David, Mateo's brother. Apparently the two brothers don't get along. David chats up Clara, telling her about his travels in Hong Kong and Bangkok. He says "New York is too small for a person like you." (A person he barely knows. I get the feeling that he's interested in winning her away from Mateo. He goes on my SUCKS list.)
Valerie has apparently approved Luisa's request for a leave of absence. She plans to go to Puerto Rico to advance her singing career. She's very excited.
Val comes into the room (at Velvet? At her house? I'm not sure.) I AM sure that Alberto is there. He says he needs to know the truth....What do you know about Isabel? And on that note, the episode ends.
velvet
ReplyDeleteI tried to mention most of the main parts of the episode, but I was very nervous about my Internet connection. I'd received a notice today from Comcast/Xfinity saying that they'd be doing work in my area tonight, and when that happened, there would be intermittent outages. So I had to leave out some items or details I might otherwise have included. In fact, I think I'll end this note now while I still can. Arrgh.
Bahar # 7
ReplyDeleteSince this show can be seen with English captions I think I'll just make observations. Umay is being a brat and playing hookie with her art friend Parla. Nevra is working on making Bahar feel guilty abandoning her 16 year old daughter. She also tries to get Gülçiçek on her side. Umay does feel abandoned, mom helicopter parented brother apparently so she is angry she isn't getting as much attention. I don't quite follow this logic, my experience with 3 children (one daughter) is that this is the age they try to spread their wings and the less parent hovering the better. At any rate, she and her friend Parla are painting a mural, the two figures depict Parla's parents. I forget what they were, but mom is is a demon of sorts. Two guys approach them ( it's now dark). They shake them down for money which they don't have. Parla sprays one guy in the face with paint and the girls take off running. Unfortunately Umay falls and hits her head and is knocked out. Parla in a panic calls mom explaining. Mom is Rengin! She tells mom the girl is Timur's daughter. Ambulance is called. Parla rides in it with Umay. Timur is called by Rengin who then calls Aziz Uras. AU calls mom (who is with Evren after hitching a ride home on his motorcycle after most of the doctors spent a fun night at a karaoke bar.)
They all converge on the hospital where Parla is quickly shuffled into Rengin's car. So it appears Rengin is hiding her daughter. From Timur? Timur tells Bahar she can't let them know she is Umay's mom. Mama bear refuses, goes to her daughter's room . Umay wakes up and I think apologizes. The last scene has the upper class resident that Umas is in a clandestine relationship with walking in and asking what Bahar is doing there.
The other developments are Rengin passing the buck and putting Bahar on Timur's roster of residents.
All the residents and most of the doctors (except Rengin who goes home) were at the karaoke bar the chief of staff was falling over drunk, literally. Evren and Timur refrained from over imbibing as they were driving. Bahar is a good singer. The chief resident that is Umas secret GF, her name starts with a C I believe, is a good belly dancer.
I was trying to remember the slapstick US medical series yesterday. Scrubs. Not quite as silly as that show, but I see glimpses of a similar vibe in this show. I am enjoying it.
OT enjoy your visit with your niece Maggie. See you next here week.

ReplyDeleteK, thanks for doing the Monday recap while on vacation. A fun read as usual. The Isa-bomb hit and the immediate reactions were as expected.
Thanks so much for the well done Tuesday recap (and half of Monday), Juanita. I sympathize with the technology problems.
So, Gloria is still drinking in the Hamptons.
I think talking to Gloria was good for Albert. It made him think twice about rejecting Isabel out of hand. And whatever was in that letter helped, too.
Albert was stunned at Emilio’s resignation. I’m sure Tio will be back at Velvet. And I guess Isabel will stay in NY.
Why does Carlos have all of Isabel’s medical info? He’s like an intermediary between the docs and Isa, Emilio and Ana. They seem to find out everything through him. I wonder if he’s telling the whole truth about Isabel’s condition.
I’m worried. If Carlos finds out about informant Rodrigo, he might disappear like Katy Mendez.
Is Esteban totally full of BS? Maybe there’s a kernel of truth to his explanation. I keep thinking that Benjamin wasn’t such a nice guy.
Nice news for Luisa but I’m wondering if what happened with Francisco will come back. That can’t be over so easily.
Also wondering about David. Is he “working” for his mom and aunties? Mateo’s family is messed up.
velvet
ReplyDeleteThanks very much, dondi, for your interesting comments about last night's episode. I too have been wondering about Carlos's role in Isabel's medical situation. I was thinking of including some statement to that effect in my recap, but I found myself pressed for time. I was afraid I might not finish it before Comcast starting whatever it was threatening to do,, so i raced to get the recap up before I lost Internet. Sigh. Anyway, yes, I share your apprehension about Carlos's role in all that. And, of course, our apprehension about Carlos in general.
And yes, the Francisco business seemed so serious, but we haven't heard anything more. At least not yet. Perhaps his widow is simply happy to be rid of him and able to start a new life elsewhere. ¡Ojalá!
As for David, I guess we'll find out more in the days ahead. All I know is that he set off bad vibes for me. Not bad as in Carlos-bad, but I'm not hoping that Clara abandons Mateo for David.
Velvet
ReplyDeleteSound is still not functioning. I'll do the recap tomorrow when I can get the on demand version and work from it unless someone else wants to do tonight's episode.
Velvet #47
ReplyDeleteOk, this morning I watched 2 episodes so I may get things mixed up. My 6 y.o. grandson was awake so I took no notes on my phone, I let him do his Chinese Duolingo lessons on my phone so I couldn't write the recap during it. You all get an abbreviated version.
Isabel and Alberto
Alberto forgives his mother. After a short stay in the hospital she is released and he brings her home to his place. Her room is on the second floor. She has a male nurse in attendance. Christina arrives in the apartment directly from an elevator, but apparently to access the second floor Isabel needs to go up and down stairs. Not the best set up for an invalid on oxygen. He gets more of the back story on what happened. Emilio went to NY to be Isabel's eyes and ears on the upbringing of her son. Now Alberto wonders who wanted his mother dead and set up her self defense killing if the man that broke into her apartment (he's not buying the lover story that was presented to convict her.)
Carlos and Ana
Rodrigo tells Margarita more about the missing Kathy. Margarita is doing in depth social media sleuthing. Carlos profile is just too perfect. Only his business successes seem to be posted, nothing personal. Not even any cute dog pictures. Luisa agrees this is suspicious. They think someone else is posting on his behalf. I think Margarita also looked into Kathy after being shown her picture not Rodrigo, but came up blank. At any rate Ana has decided to tell Carlos about Alberto. After learning the story (I think he's known all along) he tells her this is all the more reason to get out of Velvet and start her own line. If he weren't such a shifty guy I'd agree with him.
Emilio and Barb (and Val)
Barbie is going shopping to get her mother a gift. She is as demanding as Barbie apparently. Emilio tells her it's his job to make the money and hers to spend it as he wishes her safe travels. Later that evening he and Val are getting hot and heavy in the office, or maybe their apartment when Barb catches them with Val half dressed. She slaps Val and Emilio for food measure. Shell make him pay. Later she looks for Val at her apartment but finds Chris and complains bitterly about her brother. She figured he was up to something with someone at Velvet and the color lipstick was the same shade Val wears. So she lowered his defenses and set him up to be discovered.
Mateo and Carla
Carla gets the magazine article printed and framed and is flattered. David comes to Velvet and flirts with her, but I don't think she is buying his BS. He is a crypto genius or something. There also is a magazine article about him. He tells her she is wasted as an administrative assistant when she is a finance major. This guy is creepy and out to sabotage his brother's relationship I'm pretty sure.
Pedro and Susan
Unfortunately we weren't spared a Pedro sighting. Susan has applied for a loan to start her beauty salon. She told a white lie on the application, she is married. Well, we are living together and have a kid together so it's like being married. She needs his signature. He sees the amount on the loan, equivalent to buying lots of land in Mexico and balks, especially as it's a 20-30 year loan. I bet her scam is to get the money and run leaving him on.the hook for the loan. Otherwise I don't see why she is eating her time on a lowly maintenance worker.
velvet
ReplyDeleteHi Kat. Thanks for the short but helpful recap of last night's episode. I admire your perseverence! I should point out one important error: you say "Emilio and Barb (and Val)" when you mean Enrique, not Emilio. The error persists throughout that paragraph. I imagine others reading the recap will, like me, realize that it's just a momentary mental slip (what I tend to call a brain fart when it happens to me :-) ).
I definitely agree with you about David's being creepy. I hope Clara doesn't fall for him. As you say, he's apparently out to sabotage Mateo.
I don't have much confidence in Pedro to do the smart thing, but I'm hoping just this once he will, and NOT sign the document agreeing to share responsibility for the loan. I kept holding my breath last night, fearing that he would sign it. But as far as I could tell, he hadn't when the episode ended. Fingers crossed.
Again, thanks VERY much for doing this recap in spite of all the obstacles.
Velvet
ReplyDeleteJuanita, thanks for catching my error. I sure wish the blog site had an edit feature for us. On top of loaning the phone to my grandson, I left my tablet at home. By having two devices I discovered I could sync up the versions and get the Spanish CCs on one device while getting the sound on another. Then if I'm going to recap I need the 3rd device to type on. I seem to be the only viewer having the audio difficulty and velvet is the only one that it happens on as of a few weeks ago. It's such a pain. Also I'm watching way too many shows at the same time so character names get jumbled in my mind...
velvet/OT
ReplyDeleteWow, Kat, I can't imagine trying to use two, nevermind three, devices at once while trying to watch the novela. You're amazing! And I STRONGLY agree with your wish for an edit feature!!!!!!! There have been so many times when I wished I could change a mistake in something I posted. The only way I've at times managed to do so is to copy the entire posting (in order to save it) and then hit the red/orange DELETE sign located right after/under the posting. I then repost the version I saved and make whatever changes I want, and THEN hit the PUBLISH button. (Most of the time, it's not worth the bother, but occasionally I decide it is.)
