1. Marcos takes control and runs though out the offices telling everyone that Facundo Cervera cannot be allowed to leave the building. The shop and the track need to be monitored and all of the exists blocked and they need to hold him until the police arrive.
2. The security guards miss Facundo hiding down a hallway which puts him in the perfect position to nab Vale (yes, she who couldn't stay put in the office) who is getting off the elevator preoccupied and on her phone leaving Eleazar a message. He tells her she is going to be his lifesaver to get out of there, He orders her to shut up or she will not get out of there alive. He drags her by her neck, takes out his gun and tells her to shut up as they head for the staircase.
3. Vero sits with Meli as she tries to console Alexa. Alexa feels bad that she and her father were on such bad terms before he died. Vero tells her she can be proud of her father because in the end he did the right thing which was an act of bravery and of love for her. Meli says Alexa never has to feel alone. She will be her BFF. She hugs Alexa.
4. Facundo drags Vale up the stairwell. She struggles to get free but can't.
5. Eleazar gets Vale's message to call her because she urgently needs to talk to him. He calls her back but Facundo answers the phone informing him that his novia cannot answer him at this moment. Eleazar asks his father why he has Vale's cell phone. Facundo tells his son to listen carefully because he is not going to repeat himself. He tells him not to do anything stupid or call security. He is not to talk to anyone. Eleazar swears to . . . Facundo tells him not to threaten him. If he opens his mouth, Vale is going to be the one who is sorry and he is not talking about scaring her but real consequences. He asks Eleazar if he heard him. Eleazar asks his father what he wants him to do.
6. Joaquín arrives on the scene with Mario and the police. . He asks where Facundo is. Marcos tells him not to worry because he has not left the premises. Security is looking for him. Mario is sure he is hiding somewhere. The police official announces that nobody is entering or leaving without his authorization. The police start to search. Diego says that bastard has to pay for what he did to his father and mother. Joaquín assures him that Facundo will not escape. Joaquín asks where Vale is. Diego says she went to look for Eleazar.

ReplyDelete7. Up on the roof, Facundo has tied up Vale when he gets a call on Vale's phone from Vero. He answers her call addressing her as his beautiful Consuelo but then asks she wants to be called Vero. In a rage, he tells her the time has come to for her to pay for every time she rejected him, and for her betrayal for having chosen that imbecile Joaquín over him. All Vero wants to know is where Vale is and why he has her phone. He tells her she will never hug her daughter again.. She will never be able to tell her that she is her mother. She will leave this world thinking that her mother abandoned her, that she never loved her. Vero begs him not to do that. He says that will be her punishment. Her daughter will never know the sacrifices that she made to be by her side. Vero says she can do whatever he wants to her but begs Facundo not to harm Vale. We see Vale trying to get free in the background but she is not successful. Facundo agrees to a deal to see how much she matters to Joaquín. She needs to convince him to call off the police so he can be allowed to leave the premises without any risk. When he is far away in a safe place, he will let her know where Vale is. He has a last warning. If anyone tries to arrest him, Vale will be resting with the dead. She cries out NO but he has already hung up.
8. Eleazar arrives on the roof and goes running towards Vale. In tears, Eleazar asks him what he is doing. Has he gone crazy??? Eleazar explains that the police are there and they have come for him. Facundo explains to his son that if everything goes as planned, they are going to get out of there and nobody is going to stop them. Eleazar has no plans of going anywhere with him. He only came to bring him what he asked him for. All of his money from the safe is there. He is going to take Vale out of there. Facundo points a gun at his son who moves to Vale's side warning him not to go to her. Eleazar removes Vale's gag and she screams out that Facundo caused the accident that killed her parents.. Eleazar gets up and asks Facundo to tell him that isn't so and that he is not a murderer. There is no answer as Facundo keeps pointing the gun at Vale.
9. Vero calls Joaquín asking him to confirm that Vale is with him. He says she isn't. Diego said she was going to talk to Eleazar. She informs him that she tried to call her and Facundo answered her phone. Facundo has Vale!!!
10. Back on the roof, Eleazar acknowledges that his father took the lives of the parents of the woman he he loves. Facundo says it was a mistake. Still with the gun pointed at her, Facundo tells Vale that her parents were not supposed to be on that plane. It was supposed to be Joaquín who was going to Miami but plans got changed at the last moment. He didn't find out until it was too late after the accident happened. Eleazar says it wasn't an accident because he caused what happened. Vale says he wanted to kill her godfather. ??? Eleazar doesn't recognize Facundo. Facundo says he is his father. He was there when nobody else was on his side. He taught him how to ride and treated him after every fall. Eleazar stares at him. Facundo tells his son not to look at him that way. He is no monster. He has more than enough reasons to want to destroy Joaquín. Because of him, he ended up on the street and deaf! Eleazar has no idea what he is talking about. Facundo is ready to tell him everything when Joaquín calls Vale's phone. Facundo is still swinging his gun around as he tells Eleazar and Vale that if any one of them makes a sound or a move, he will end it for them all. He has nothing to lose.

ReplyDelete11. The police are with Joaquín in his office tracking down Facundo's location. Finally, Facundo answers Joaquín's call. Facundo wants to know where the jerk is and to talk to Vale. Facundo says his goddaughter is fine . . . for now. If he wants to see her alive, he knows what he has to do. He wants the police out of there so he can leave peacefully. Joaquín insists on talking to Vale first. Facundo tells her to say hello to her godfather. Vale screams that Facundo has a gun. Joaquín cannot believe what he has heard and pauses. Joaquín tells her to not give up but the call is already over.
12. Facundo continues with his tale of victimhood when he was not included as a partner in the company, They forgot about him like a dog. He was a racer, too, and the best of them but it only took an accident when Joaquín took it all away as if he and his life were worth nothing. Eleazar cannot believe that his hatred has turned him into this. Vale screams MURDERER at him. Facundo justifies it all saying that he did it for both of them and so nobody would step on Eleazar as they did on him. He only wanted justice. Eleazar explains what he wants is revenge. Facundo points the gun at Vale as Eleazar tells him to stop destroying everything he touches. Facundo asks his son if he hates him now.. Eleazar says no. He saw him as his hero and his example. Today he is only seeing a man consumed by hatred. He tries to get Facundo to let Vale go so they can continue to talk but Facundo says NO! pointing his gun at Vale. Eleazar approaches his father and asks him if he is going to make him choose between him and his conscience because he has chosen already. Facundo cannot believe he is choosing Vale over him. Her own mother didn't want her and preferred to abandon her rather than to have to take care of a MISTAKE. That is what she was: a mistake in her mother's life and a damn mistake in his son's life. Eleazar tells hm to shut up. Facundo says he is going solve the problem now as he aims at Vale. She screams and Eleazar steps in front of the gun. It is a stand off.
13. Vero arrives at the company and tells Romina all about Facundo's call. He is capable of anything. Kassandra hears her and wants to know what she is doing there.
14. With Facundo's gun pointed at his chest, Eleazar asks his father to turn himself in and let him know there is still some good in him. Facundo is clearly in turmoil. Eleazar sobs and pleads with his father. Facundo explains he couldn't do that because he would end up rotting away in a cell like a dog. Eleazar begs his father to not make him remember him as a murderer. There is still time to do things the right way for him, for the son he raised. Facundo expresses his frustration and wanders around on the roof wothteh gun still in hand.
15. The police and Joaquín have arrived on the roof and Facundo is ordered to throw down his weapon. Facundo tells Joaquín it is all his fault and points the gun at him. The police shoot him on the spot. Eleazar runs to him, Vale screams as Facundo staggers and falls over the edge of the roof.

ReplyDelete16. Kassandra accuses Vero of having come to the office only to cause a scandal. Vero says she is there because Vale is in trouble. Kassandra asks who does she thing she is beyond being a domestic worker??? She tells Romina to get Vero out of there. Vero insists that she is not leaving. until she knows that Vale is fine. Kassandra then remembers she was Facundo's novia. Better that she stay so the police can question her and show who she really is. Vero warns her about making up things about her. Kassandra says she is the worst thing that could have happened to Vale and her siblings. She is nothing more than an opportunist who got into Facundo's bed for her own benefit while taking advantage of every moment to seduce him. .She is a gold digger. Vero slaps her face. Kassandra calls her stupid and tells her she is going to pay for that. Vero makes it clear that she will not allow her to speak like that to her ever again. As the argument continues, Iván comes running in to tell them that they found Vale.. Facundo had her on the roof. Vero takes off.
17. Kassandra asks Iván if Facundo was arrested. He answers that Facundo is dead. Kassandra has a hard time suppressing her happiness.
16. Vero finds Vale on the roof. They hug and have an emotional exchange. Joaquín comforts Eleazar.
17. The police official is in Mario's office telling him that he did what they agreed to. Cervera died before he could open his mouth. Mario gives him the last part of the payment that they agreed to in a manila envelope.
18. Lorena and Claudia console a crying Eleazar and remind him that he has a family with them and that he is nothing like his father. They all hug.
19. Vale comes in and thanks Eleazar for defending her and saving her life. She and Eleazar hug and cry.
20. Vero tells Joaquín how afraid she was thinking that she could lose Vale forever. She felt like she was dying. He answers saying thank God nothing happened to Vale. Vero thanks him for taking care of Vero and for taking care of her. He makes it clear he isn't going to let either of them go. They are also going to prepare Vale so she can be told the truth: that she loves her with a love that never gives up. She asks if he thinks that one day Vale will call her mother. He knows that day will arrive. He won't rest until he experineces that miracle with her. They kiss. Kassandra walks in.
21. Eleazar doesn't know how Vale can be with the son of the man who killed her parents. Vale reminds him that he is not his father and that she loves him.He feels bad about what his father said about her mother. Vale says she hates her an always will. Eleazar tells her that she is the best thing that has ever happened to him in his life. He loves her. Rebeca sees them hugging and leaves.

ReplyDelete22. Kassandra wants to know what is going on. Joaquín says he is sorry but it is really is none of her concern. She wants to know how long he has been with this . . . He answers that he owes her no explanations. He has the same right to start a new life just as she has. Vero offers to leave but he says she should stay. Kassandra says she wanted to see him because Bruno stole a watch from her office. Joaquín says he will look into it. She is demanding that he fire Bruno. He doesn't think that she should be "demanding" that he do anything. . She says yes she should since since she is the future wife of the most important partner. Joaquín informs her that things don't work that way and asks her to leave since he and Vero are busy.
23. Vero tells Joaquín about the slap and they both have a good laugh.
24. Kassandra throws a fit in her office and promises revenge!!! She will destroy Joaquín and Vero's love even if it costs her her life!
25. Romina calls Consuelo about Bruno. Consuelo is having a hard time hearing that Bruno supposedly stole something at work. Aurelio overhears. Consuelo feels like Bruno is out of control and she is powerless to do anything about it. Aurelio tells her that she has done a great job but sometimes your kids have no idea that you have given your whole life for them.
26. Vale and Eleazar are together when Diego and Majo approach. Vale tells her brother no to be hard on Eleazar. Eleazar says he feels so bad about Diego's parents. A compassionate Diego reminds him that he is not his father. He also understands what it is to lose a father and to feel empty.. He also was caught between anger and blame and thought that would never change but it did. He had his siblings and Eleazar has his mom, sister and Vale.
27. Vale apologizes to Majo for being so nasty to her when Claudia was in the picture with her brother. Majo says she understood with Claudia being her BFF. Vale is happy that Diego is so happy with her. Majo admits to being super in love with Diego. They agree not to be friends but to be . . . sister-in-laws!!!
28. Night has fallen and Bruno insists that he didn't steal anything but his mother and his sister do not believe him. Exasperated, he runs out of the house. Consuelo asks Nayeli what did she do to deserve this. Nayeli tells her she didn't do anything. Nayeli says Bruon is stubborn as a mule but he has a good heart. He just doesn't know how to use it yet.

ReplyDelete29. Marcos and Romina are ready to go home and they bump into Iván and Olga.Olga insists that the four of them go out together for supper . Why NOT???. Marcos and Romina try to make excuses but end up going out with them. Olga haas place in mind.
30. Vero thanks Joaquín for taking her home. He cheers her up saying it was a tough day but tomorrow will be a new beginning. They are so grateful for each other and are kissing when Aurelio appears and asks Vero to introduce him.
31. Nayeli is looking all over for Bruno. Hugo offers to help her and they go looking for him on his motorcycle.
32. Vero introduces Joaquín to her father. Aurelio recognizes his name and asks if he is Romina's boss. Joaquín says he has the pleasure of counting on Romina as a member of the team. Aurelio thinks they must have met through Romina . Joaquín says actually no. It was fate that brought them face to face just when they needed it. He tells Aurelio that he has a marvelous daughter. She is not only beautiful but is strong, empathetic and brave. She completely stole his heart. Aurelio smiles and looks pleased. Joaquín leaves. Aurelio says he likes to see Vero smile and to share a little in her happiness. She thanks him and continues saying that he always says that he wants the best for her but she can never be sure of him. One day he hugs her, the next he hurts her. Aurelio, aka he who never learns, says all he wants for her is to leave the past
behind. She says that is not possible. She loves Joaquín but that doesn't mean she is going to forget about her daughter. She says the difference between him and Joaquín is that Joaquín is open to helping her get her daughter back. She says goodnight and goes into her home
33. The "foursome" are at a restaurant where Marcos is telling them all about Nico who might be ready to hang up his cassock!!!. Romina doesn't believe it but he goes on talking about he strong relationship he has with Lorena. Olga starts playing footsie with him under the table. Olga starts talking about the strong passion that they must have for each other. It makes them brave. Iván agrees and says it also makes them romantic. You cannot be a coward in love. Romina finds it all hard to believe. They are talking about her uncle as if he were somebody else. She has a hard time believing that he would leave all he has been for a woman. Olga says he is a man, isn't he? Marcos has more. Nico is also Lorena's daughter's father. They are all shocked but especially Romina.
34. Back at the house, Nuria tells Joaquín that Diego told her all about Luis and Susana having been murdered. She has decided that her nieces and nephew need an intimate, sacred place where they can bring flowers, light candles, cry. and be grateful for their parents That way Diego, Dani and Meli can stay close to their parents. Joaquín reminds her Vale is to be included Of course!! He thinks it is a great idea. It is what they need . They will work on it together. She thinks that with him on board everything seems to be in perfect harmony.
35, Nayeli and Hugo return without finding Bruno, (No, she didn't fall of the motorcycle as I was expecting.)He offers to go looking for Bruno on his own. He tells her that he will always be there for her although they are not anything. She says that sounds really nice but love isn't sweet words He broke her heart. He says he is sorry and asks her to let him show her that he is sorry if nothing more than as a friend. She can do the friend thing. He goes off looking for Bruno. She asks her baby if maybe this cute guy really does love them.

ReplyDelete36. Dani is in her room when she discovers she has company. It is Bruno. He explains that everyone thinks he is a thief and he didn't do it. Dani believes him
She thinks it is just like how nobody accepts what she believes in. He smiles.
37. It looks like both Olga and Marcos left the table to use the washrooms. He tells her to behave herself. They are there with their spouses. She corrects him. Iván is her ex. He insists that what they are doing is not good. She tells him to stop thinking about it. He doesn't think that everything is a game. She would rather play than watch her life pass her by. It doesn't take much and they are kissing.

ReplyDeleteYou captured every hidden and overt emotion as well as the non-stop action of this riveting episode perfectly Jarifa.
The terror and abuse Eleazar and Vale have suffered as a result of last night’s abduction and aftermath (not to mention all of Eleazar’s past suffering) should surely leave them traumatized. I hope they both get the counseling they will desperately need. However, as this is Novela land, I’ve no doubt the love of their families and each other will help heal their wounds. Joaquin hugging Eleazar and Vale being wrapped up in his family’s embrace was comforting. Diego also stepped up, doing the right thing by Eleazar.
After having to endure all that transpired, Vale will now also have to suffer with Vero’s admission, if she ever gets to it…This is going to make things even harder.
“Nayeli and Hugo return without finding Bruno, (No, she didn't fall of the motorcycle as I was expecting.)” Oh Jarifa, I was thinking the exact same thing!! So now Hugo knows. I hope he and Yaneli are able to find their way to each other. She is such a gem!
I have to admit I really enjoyed the awkward yet pivotal dinner of the four friends. It appears a switch seems inevitable, but who knows at this point?? Marcos and Olga seem even less unlikely than Romina and Ivan, but their chemistry seems off the chart!

That young actor playing Elea zar did a remarkable job. He is destined for galan roles.
The writers dispatched one of main villains made characters earlier than I expected.
Can't wait to see when Mario finally comes,face to face with Vero, the supposed love of his life...followed by Kass's reaction to his reaction !
What in the world are the writers doing with Romina, Marcos, Ivan, Olga....triangle plus one ? Must dash. Susan

ReplyDeleteThanks Jarifa, I always look forward to your recaps. This episode answered my question of how to keep Facundo from blabbing. Have the police kill him off. Too easy an ending for him. But lots of excitement leading up to it. I thought he was going to kill his own son. And Eleazar is grieving his dad, but I think if someone looked ready to shoot me or someone I loved I would be relieved they were gone.
Bruno seems to have the makings of a con man. I don’t fink him likable.
I loved the slap Kassandra received from
Vero.
Our 2 couples/non couples are confusing me. I really don’t see Marcos and Olga together but they sure are attracted to each other. Olga and Ivan seem to go together better.
I did get a kick out of Aurelio being so pleased when he met Joaquin.
Nuria did something good. What a great idea to have a special place for the kids to go to be with their parents.
My iPad is not letting me type long lines. It sends me to the next row. We’ll see what happens when I hit publish!

Well, just wanted to say that I do not care for Bruno, Liz . I kept saying " Close the door " when Vero caught him looking in the frig, and neither of them closed it!!!

1. As Olga and Marcos are getting busy, Iván and Romina are talking. He is impressed by hearing how Nico was willing to give it all up for a woman. He chose not to exist but truly LIVE! Romina asks him not to continue. He asks why considering what they feel for each other in their hearts. She accusingly says that he knows that she is trying to save her marriage and is doing all she can to uphold those vows she took in front of God. He tells her that God doesn't judge and asks if she is gong to spend her life afraid of daring to be happy. Exasperated, she swears that if he keeps this up for one more minute, she will be resigning tomorrow.
2. Marcos and Olga are kissing out in the hall. For a moment, he wonders what they are doing but they only stop when other people walk by.
3. Mario, Kassandra, Rebeca and Isaura toast to the engagement. Mario announces that the wedding will take place in three months. Kassandra hopes that she and Rebeca can be friends. Rebeca enthusiastically agrees. Isaura thinks his house looks like a palace and her daughter deserves to live like a queen. She could not be more pleased that Mario is now part of their family.
4. Joaquín tells the kids all about Nuria's plan to establish a place for a memorial for their parents that is close by. They can gather when they miss them, when they want to bring them flowers or simoly want to be close to them. The kids all agree it is a great idea.
5. At the morgue, Eleazar visits his father's corpse with his mother. She asks him what he would like to do. He sees no purpose in a wake since nobody would come. In tears, he says he will let it end here and have him cremated. Lorena leaves him alone with his father where he expresses his disappointment in his father having done with to him. He tells him he admired him but he left him in shame and in anger. He sobs over his body.

ReplyDelete5. Continued. Eleazar tells his father that in spite of everything, he still was his father and he doesn't know how to stop loving him.
6. Vale sends Eleazar a message that she is thinking of him and he can call her if he fees like he needs to. She loves him. She wishes she were with him right now so she could hug him. She sends him all of her love.
7. Dani and Meli arrive. They all like the idea of a special place for their parents. It is bed time. Dani says she doesn't know if she can sleep ahead of tomorrow and manages to get Vale to take Meli into her room so she can get a good night's sleep. Dani will join their pajama party after she gets a drink of water..
8. Dani goes to the refrigerator and gets a bottle of orange Fanta and makes a sandwich instead. She brings the food and drink to her room where Bruno has been in hiding in her closet. He is happy since his stomach has been growling. He agrees that the Fanta is tasty! Crying, Dani tells him about the ceremony for her parents. She cries saying that she still was hoping that they would return but they didn't. Bruno tells her to cry and get it all out. He also thinks that the ceremony is a great idea because she will have a place she can go to to tell her parents whatever she wants as if they never left. If she is ever really missing them a lot, he is there. Although he is a fool, he can listen to her. She thanks him and they share a laugh as he thanks her for the food.
9. The next day, the whole household prepare to go to the memorial. Vale comes early so the house won't be empty. Vale and Vero have a hug before Vale leaves. They love each other a lot.

ReplyDelete9. Continued. On the way out, Joaquín tells Vero that he surprises her more every day she is the strength behind this home and his life. She answers that he is her hope. They kiss and Meli sees them!!!! She is SHOCKED!
10. At the company, Mario is informing Marcos that he and Joaquín decided that he is officially the new head mechanic. All of the mechanics applaud and Marcos is happy as he gets his new pass. Mario says they are all depending on him. The shop needs leadership especially now that Nolivos and Navarro are going to be united and being brilliant on the track. As they get back to work, one of the mechanics reminds Marcos that he is going to be paying for all of the sandwiches now.
11. Meli clears her throat to get Joaquín's and Vero's attention. She hopes she wasn't interrupting anything. Joaquín says no, they were discussing something . . . important. Smiling, Meli says it looked like Joaquín was telling Vero a secret in her ear. Joaquín says no . . . and reminds her they are leaving. He is going to get his keys and they will be off. Meli agrees to go and salutes her captain. He salutes "his captain" back. She says goodbye and winks on her way out leaving Joaquín and Vero laughing and wondering what she saw.
12. Diego overhears them and asks who saw what. They both say nobody, nothing. The only kid not downstairs is Dani. Diego asks if there is somethign going on with them. They deny it. He grins.
13. The memorial takes place in a wooded area where a tree is planted and flowers left along with mementos and a white balloon release.
14. Vero is talking to a desperate Consuelo. It seems that Bruno never made it home last night. Vero tells her to calm down and she will call Romina to see if he made it to work.

ReplyDelete15. Vero runs into Bruno in the kitchen. Both are shocked. He is surprised to see her cleaning houses like his mother. She tells him it is one of his business and asks him what he is doing in the ouse. He says that he was "invited."He then says he doesn't know if it was a formal invitation or only a suggestion. . . Vero tells him how worried his mother and sister are. He says it serves them right for not believing him. He didn't steal anything at the company. Vero says she believes him. It finally comes out that Dani let him in. He begs her not to scold her. He had no where to go. Vero asks him what is she going to do with him??? He suggests he make him a sandwich. He is hungry.
16. Vale and Eleazar with Facundo's ashes are at a place near the track. He says it all started for his father there and anded there, too. Vale adds that this place was his life and his sentence (AKA anvil) Eleazar never found out if he was ever happy but in spite of everything, he was his father. She assures him that he loved him in his own way. In tears, Eleazar tells him to rest in peace scatters his ashes. He doesn't understand how she can stay with him knowing that his father killed her parents. She reminds him that he i not his father. He thanks her for not hating him. She says she couldn't. She loves him.
17. Vero delivers Bruno home where his mother is grateful to see him but also angry over what he did. He insists that he said he was innocent but she wouldn't believe him. Consuelo apologizes. He forgives her. She covers him in kisses saying she would die if anything happened to him. Vero tells Consuelo where she found him and where he was. Vero adds that they they have a deal. She will not tell on Dani and he will not tell anyone that her name is really Vero doing a journalistic investigation.
18. Nayeli is feeling weak at the beauty when Hugo comes in and she tells him Bruno turned up. He asks her if something is wrong with her and she says no.Suddenly she gets a ringing in her ear and she collapses unconscious.

ReplyDelete19. Vale tells Joaquín she has never been intimate with anyone.
20. Iván pays Romina a visit at work to tell her that HE has resigned. He talked to his brother and is planning on a long trip until he can get her out of his heart although that might not be possible. He says one word from her and he wouldn't go but he knows she won't say it. He hopes that she finds happiness with Marcos, her life and everything else she defends. If him leaving will help her be happy, he can go and be at peace. She cries as she tries to talk to him. He tells her goodbye. Their hands brush as he passes through the door. She starts to sob.
21. Eleazar tells Vale that he never expected her to be so honest with him. He thanks her. She thought that he was going to be upset with her thinking that she is rejecting him. He tells her that is not the case. He wants them to do everything however she feels most comfortable on HER schedule. She asks what if she is never ready. He tells her that would not change a thing. He doesn't love her for what would happen afterwards. He loves her for who she is now.
22. Consuelo and Aurelio arrive at the hospital where Nayeli was taken to the emergency room. Hugo tells them what happened. The doctor comes out to update them on Nayeli's condition. Nayeli fainted due to low blood pressure which was brought on stress and fatigue. It is nothing serious but she needs bed rest for the next 48 hours. The doctor adds that fortunately, the baby is also out of danger. That is news for Hugo.
23. Meli tells Joaquín that she knows that he was embarrassed because she saw him and Vero kissing. He smiles and admits that he was a little because he thought hit was a well-kept secret. She says not very but she already talked to Vero and said she wouldn't say anything to anyone. She promises but wants a promise in return. She wants him to marry Vero because you can tell that they love each other a lot. The when they are married, they can adopt her and her siblings like her parents adopted Vale Then they can be a real family. Joaquín just smiles as she asks him to please, please, please agree to her plan.

ReplyDelete24. Vale tells Vero about her conversation with Eleazar about sex and how well it went. She tells Vero she couldn't have done it without her and hugs her. Vero leaves.
25. Dani comes in all excited and tells Vale that she thinks that something is gong on between Vero and Joaquín. They seem to be on the same wavelength. . . It is the way they look at each other with love in their eyes and the way they talk to each other . She does an imitation. Vale says that can't be.
26. Walking by, Joaquín wants to know what can't be. Dani tells him that she thinks that Vero and Joaquín are in love.
27. Joaquín explains to Meli that all of them his children. He has learned so much from them and given hi so much, they are now a part of his heart. She asks if he feels that way, why can't he adopt the? He explains that Nuria is their guardian. She is there to take care of them and to look out for them. Meli says that she doesn't know her well and doesn't like her as she likes Joaquín and Vero. He wants her to know that life sometimes gives you new people and that they need to give Nuria a chance, some time to get know her better. Meli makes it clear that she wants to have a mom and a dad again. She runs to sit on his lap. He promises her that he will think about it. When the time comes, he will do what is best for them.
28. Nayeli refuses to acknowledge that she is pregnant to Hugo until he tells her at the doctor and her mother both made that clear. She asks why would she tell him when they had broken up. He reminds her that he is the baby's father and had the right to know it. She reminds him that he never really loved her. He might have been with her but his head and heart were still with Vale. He denies it and she reminds him she is no fool. Thy only time he came around was when Vale cut it off with him. He sees her as a consolation prize but she isn't. He asks for another chance. She she isn't into second parts. They don't do well in telenovelas either. She would love him to be in love with her but when she looks into his eyes , she can tell he is still in love with Vale and not her. That is why she doesn't want to be with him.

ReplyDelete29. Having found out that Nayeli is pregnant, Aurelio tells Consuelo that the boy better support Nayeli or he will have to answer to him. Consuelo tells him to butt out. Aurelio looks shocked. She adds that if the boy is going to support her or not, will be Nayeli's decision and nobody else's. She was never afraid t be a single mother and Nayeli isn't either. He says he doesn't know. Before, it was an issue if a woman had a a pregnant belly before getting married. Consuelo well knows how it was but times have changed. He asks her if she thinks he did the right thing with Vero. He was taking care of her, the family and the baby's future. Consuelo says all he ended up doing was breaking Vero's heart. She adds if her daughter is going to have a baby, it will be with love and not shame. If life has given her this trial, she will not allow her to face it alone. Aurelio thinks she is a strong woman; stronger than him. She disagrees. She is a mother and when a mother sees her daughter fall, she doesn't point it out. She gets her up and moves on ahead with her. That is what Consuelo learned the hard way without the help of any man. If she lives enough, her grandchild will have as much love as a child of her own.
30. Hugo thinks they have to put their feelings aside and think about the baby. She says her baby is not at fault. He can be a father without them being together. It is his decision. She tells him not to ask her to give him her heart when he broke it into a thousand little pieces already. He starts to cry. She asks him not to look at her like that either. He is making her cry and she doesn't want her mascara to run.He swears he will not fail her again. She tells him not to swear it but to show her instead.
31. Majo is upset that her father is hitting the road He says it isn't as if he is going to another planet. He only needs some distance and clear his head. Majo doesn't get it. He explains that he feels like he is losing himself lately so the best thing is to stop, look around and find himself again. Olga supports him and will take care of Majo. He is leaving early in the morning. Majo hopes he finds what he is looking for. He deserves to be happy. They hug.
32. Romina and Mario get home from the restaurant. She wants to take a bath and go to sleep. They both agree to try to give their marriage a chance. They seem more resigned to trying than being really interested. They hug. He is preoccupied but not with her.

ReplyDelete33.The kids are eating supper as Vero says she is leaving. Joaquín offers to give her a lift as the kids watch them like hawks. Vero doesn't want to be a bother. He insists. Vale thinks it is so lovely that he is taking Vero home and asks if she can come along. Joaquín says that is not possible because he is going to stop off at the gym. Diego had no idea he was going to the gym. Joaquín says you have to stay in shape. Dani says of course since he is now single. Vale adds that you never know when that special person is gong to appear. Diego thinks that love appears when you lest expect it. Joaquín argues that isn't his case. He leaves with Vero.
34. The kids have a good laugh and Meli ends up telling them that Vero and Joaquín are novios and that they want to get married and adopt them.
35. Romina cries in the shower thinking abut Iván.
36. Vero tells Joaquín that she thinks the kids suspect something is going on. He doesn't think so. They have done such an perfect job of hiding it. They happily jump into his SUV and take off.
37. Vale tells Meli she wishes it were that easy to adopt them. Diego says if they really think about it, it wouldn't be bad. Joaquín has always been there for them even when it all fell apart. As for Vero, she is like the calmness they didn't know that they needed. Vale appreciates her from not judging her and when she hugs her, she feels like she already knows her from somewhere. Dani wonders what it wold be like have a real home again. They all smile.

A great day for Ivan. No more Facundo to bully him, no more money owed. And now, Marcos is cheating, so Romina is sure to dump her husband. But will Ivan ever stand on his own two feet, instead of leaning on (and lying to) Joaquin?
Liz and Susan, I'm joining the "I don't like Bruno" club. Plus, we don't need another guy popping into a girl's bedroom. I like Eleazar but I don't like him doing it either. Girls need to have their privacy and agency.
Favorite scene: Vero slapping Kass. If Kass thinks about it, this "Consuelo" was different, not acting like the servant class at all.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your extraordinary recap Jarifa. As Niecie noted, not only was this a double episode (packed to the gills), but putting up with the beyond frustrating and annoying format to post your carefully written recap is truly appreciated.
The gentle unfolding and revelation of Vero and Joaquin's romance is quite sweet. However, might I suggest that Vero step back into the real world and get her head out of the clouds for a moment? Her love for Joaquin needs to be set aside so she can strategically prepare how to tell her daughter the truth before someone else beats her to it.
"Isaura thinks his house looks like a palace and her daughter deserves to live like a queen. She could not be more pleased that Mario is now part of their family". How touching. She and Kassandra have such a toxic and twisted relationship forged in hate rather than love.
Nuria's gesture regarding the memorial SEEMED genuine. However, too many unkind comments about Vale being adopted and her eagerness to initially banish Joaquin from the house have me suspicious.
Hugo needs to make some heartfelt amends and prove he is ready, willing and able to be a part of Yaneli and their child's life. I'm skeptical but we shall see.
So, Ivan the drama queen is going to take a powder, "...planning on a long trip until he can get her out of his heart". How magnanimous. Yet, I'm admittedly completely intrigued to see what the result of Cupid's misguided arrows will be. Will Ivan and Romina and Marcos and Olga end up together? I can't wait to see what the writers do.
