Caray Caray!
in case you missed the latest episode of the Univision program, "La Rosa de Guadalupe", here's my photo capture of Marcelo Cordoba as the handsome hero, in modern suit and glasses. His character's name is Esteban, who is the colleague and best friend of Zaida, played by Eugenia Cauduro. -- Jody :)

Wow Thanks Eeyore for the great news. I have not connected with this show yet but was interested in the Guadelupeño legends. But caray, caray, indeed another chance to swoon with Susanlynn and 5ftlatina over our beloved and ohhhh so sexy Marcelo. I will definitely check this out immediately. Is it just once a week? I haven't figured out the schedule yet.

I believe this show is a series of separate and complete 60-minute episodes that are dramatizations of miracles or inspirational experiences attributed to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Each story probably features different characters and actors.
I saw Marcelo in this one and almost didn't recognize him at first. He was adorable in a Clark Kent kind of way and when he whipped off his glasses in one scene, his familiar gorgeousness was there on full display. In this story he played a sensitive, supportive suitor and did not lay a hand on any abuelos. I'm waiting patiently for his next appearance in a novela, maybe as galan?

Marcelo.... be still my heart. I missed his appearance but on YouTube there is a snippet titled: MARCELO CORDOBA - CLIP ROSA DE GUADALUPE. Univision would have improved its show's ratings if it had advertised our beloved Marcelo (tialovingabuelokiller) on its promos. Would like to see E Y and Marcelo together in a novela.

Sorry FC fans, but that news was from June 2008. The novela must have been Mañana es para siempre. Buuuut, on the right are some fotos of Arturo Carmona, he ain't so bad either.
