El Cuerpo del Deseo, Thurs. & Fri., Nov. 6 & 7- PJ/S gives Abigail some special birthday gifts and Rebeca spreads poison about PJ/S & Angela

Matilde promises PJ/S not to bring Rebeca to the bar again but Gaetana doesn't trust her.

Andres tells Walter to spy on PJ/S and let him know everything that goes on in the house in his absence. Later, Andres tells Walter to follow PJ/S and Angela when they go out.

Rebeca comes to see Salvador who is intently studying a bottle with a little straw hat (probably hot peppers).

PJ/S drinks a glass of water and Rebeca's hopes rise that she might get one the things Matilde asked her for but he washes the glass and the coffee cup he was drinking out of. Frustrated, Rebeca tells him to leave that for the maids. PJ/S says that he doesn't have maids; he cleans up for himself and then he winks at her as he leaves.

Angela tells PJ/S that she doesn't know much about him such as where he lives and how to contact him in an emergency and she finds that to be mysterious. (Why can't PJ/S get a cell phone?) He says that there isn't much to know.

It's Abigail's birthday (First Antonio had a birthday and now Abigail. I guess we are going to have everyone in the Donoso house have a birthday so that PJ/S can give them something that creates doubt in their minds about who he really is.) In Abigail's case, PJ/S goes for two. He gives Abigail a book of poetry that her husband gave her when they were courting and a brooch that PJ's first wife had promised Abigail before she died but which had never been given.

PJ/S asks Valeria how an old guy like PJ could inspire such love in a young person like herself. Valeria says what a wonderful guy PJ was and PJ/S tears up and says that maybe if PJ had lived longer, he would have fallen in love with her.

Thanks to PJ/S, Angela confounds Andres' plan to prevent various foreign properties of PJ from being included in the estate (it appears that Isabel didn't know about them either).

PJ/S (who looks good in an orange shirt, too) gives Angela documents that prove the existence of the properties and foreign bank accounts that even Andres and Isabel don't know about. Angela can't understand how PJ/S knows all this stuff and all he can do is reassure her that he is doing all this for her benefit.
Isabel gives Valeria a piano.

Walter and Rebeca lose no time in telling Isabel and Antonio that they believe that PJ/S is seducing Angela. Isabel has PJ/S (who looks good in his red shirt) come to her room after work and confronts him about it. PJ/S says that he made no commitment to Isabel and is free to see whomever he wants. Scornfully, Isabel asks if PJ/S thinks that Angela would be interested in a simple chauffeur. PJ/S says that Isabel is the lady of the house and she noticed the stupid chauffeur. At least Angela isn't married. She isn't doing anything wrong by liking him. Isabel says that he is right and tells him to get out of her room.

Cantalicia and Moncho are on the bus on the way to Rio Claro.

Jean, thanks for so many pictures of Mario today.

Cc, it will be interesting to see how Rebecca rounds up the things she needs for Matilde (you know they won't make it easy for her). Sometimes I feel pity for her, but she refuses to take "no" for an answer.

Cindybin, Will Ferrell on Saturday Night Live doing Spanish "Jeopardy" has to be fun. And how about, "I just take an artistic interest in Mario. I admire him like a finely chiseled work of art." (How does that sound? You don't buy that either? Alright, I'll have to keep working on my excuses.)

Prinny

I guess the requirement is for a lock of hair, i.e., something that is cut. If it was just some of PJ/S's hair, I'm sure that would be no problem. With as much hair as PJ/S has, there's probably a few strands in the car or on his uniform.
Nail clippings would seem to be the real problem. That's something, PJ/S is not likely to cut his nails in the Donoso house. If, for some reason, PJ/S and Rebeca end up at the same manicurist, that would be a different matter.

Really old people like me remember the game show, "¿Quién es más macho?" from a 1979 (I looked it up) Saturday Night Live, "Ricardo Montalban o Lloyd Bridges? Lloyd Bridges es muy mas macho."

Thanks for the fabu shots and for the indications of the different colors Mario looks good in (are there any he doesn't look good in?) Jean. I was a little young to be watching SNL in 1979 (though I started watching just a few years later) and now I wish I had seen the Ricardo Montalban vs Lloyd Bridges machismo contest.

I thing I will change my idea and say that Val and PJ/S may end up hooking up after all. For all of Simon's enthusiasm, I don't think Val feels the same way. Maybe at the end if PJ/S dies (not that I want him to, I just keep remembering Gaetana's warning that his life line is much shorter...) Val will finally see Simon as a romantic prospect.

Really gorgeous pics, Jean; thanks. And your "color" commentary is an absolute hoot. (And so accurate!) ;-)

I'm getting sooo annoyed with the increasing frequency of PJ/S's demonstrations of Things That Only Pedro Could Know. He doesn't even TRY to come up with plausible explanations as to how he could know these things; he just expects everyone to be satisfied with "I just have this knowledge and I'm doing this for your benefit." For being an industrial genius, he doesn't seem to know human nature for squat. How can he expect these people to not demand explanations, and to simply believe him? Que loco...

I, too, am curious to see how Rebeca will pull together the things Matilda says she needs, especially now that PJ/S is on to her.

I can't stand the thought of Cantalicia running back after Salvador; I just want her to stay out of the picture. A pox on the padre for showing her his photo in the paper. What was he thinking?

I've been so frustrated with PJ/S lately that I've been spending a good chunk of time on YouTube, looking up alternative Mario media. Like others, I also ran across some good clips from "Rockaway" and I was really blown away. Too bad this movie is so ultra-violent (I'd watch most of it thru my fingers), because from the little bits I saw, Mario is amazing. I don't know if it's the characterization, or the fact that his English is so incredibly gorgeous, but I think he hit a home run with his portrayal of Juju. Nicely done, Mr. Cimarro. :-) I really think this role should have caught the eye of a least a few Hollywood types so we'll see what may come of it.
