Caray, Caray!

Friday was so long ago I barely remember it, but there were a few shockers so big they even stuck in my Swiss cheese brain. Emanuel and Ilitia finally consummated their marriage after Vicky told him she had slept with Jorge?! He didn't look at all happy about it. Also, I was confused...did MV really not realize she'd been drugged and believe that she climbed into Jorge's bed of her own volition, or was she just saying that to try to get Eman to stay away from her? I guess she must not have realized she'd been drugged, or she'd be a whole lot madder at Jorge; maybe she just thinks she had too much to drink. I did enjoy Delicia's reaction when she found them in bed.

Shocker number two...whoever predicted STI troubles for Andre, bonus points to you. I feel bad for Jacky, but she knew what he was like...I don't know why she ever expected fidelity from him.
 

I too was surprised that Eman had revenge sex with Ilitia after MV told him that she slept with Jorge. What Jorge did was date rape. If MV knew that he drugged her, she would probably kick him out of the house of horrors. I didn't see the scene Delicia finding them both in bed. That was probably a scene Uni chopped out.

I wanted to know what did Vicky and Mari say to Eman in his dream of the two of them. I missed that whole dialogue.
 

I really hated that Mari-Vicky "confessed" her supposed infidelity to Eman. To what end? The pain he felt was horrible to watch. And all this time she's kept the secret of her real identity from him, but confesses an "infidelity" in a matter of minutes! Ack. I know it's a plot device to force him into Ilitia's bed so then she can claim she's pregnant with his child, but still.... Ack and Double Ack.
 

I am hoping/thinking that Jorge didn't actually have sex with Mari-- just made it look like they did. But she should be questioning how she could become so "drunk" that she would fall into bed with Jorge, have sex with him, and not remember any of it.
 

I guess Delicia didn't actually walk in when they were in bed; they were getting dressed, but it was quite clear they'd just gotten up together. She was funny trying to keep Eman and Axel out of the room.

I wonder if Jorge and MV really did have cositas. If so, he's plummeted to rock bottom in my estimation. I didn't watch online and I'm not sure what Looneyvision cut out, but it seems entirely possible he just wanted it to APPEAR that they had had relations. He's greedy and scheming but he never seemed like a rapey snake like Mauricio to me.
 

Jorge told MV that she came to him during the night, and she totally believed him because she doesn't remember anything after leaving the restaurant. I're pretty sure that MV has no idea she was drugged, and just thought she had had too much to drink and so the outcome is all her fault.

That was so sad when she told Eman what she thought she had done and that it was her fault. There is no indication that she and Jorge did anything beyond sleeping in the same bed.

Julia- Totally off topic:

I am watching Nina de mi Corazon today (I just love work from home days). I see that our heroine has THREE galans pining for her-- the rich boy, the hottie boy next door, and the dangerous neighborhood gangster. The gangster, who I take it is her ex boyfriend, scares me. (He's no jovial Beto.) But of the other two, who are you pulling for? I have to say, boy next door is very cute, and doesn't seem to have the scheming girlfriend baggage that the rich boy has.
 

Vivi: Well, richie rich (Dario) is my telenovio, as you know, so I can't root against him too much. However, I don't like how he lets Moira push him around. He tells her quite clearly he doesn't want to marry her, then the next day he lets her get away with announcing their engagement? Weak.

I really like boy next door (Juan Vicente). He is hot stuff, has no baggage other that Magda, who doesn't really count since he does NOT let her push him around, and he's truly devoted to Andrea and her family.

Jason can just go over a cliff in his thugmobile and his Papi underoos (which we do NOT need to see). I hate what he's doing to Andrea's little brother (Damian?).

Don't you think Silvana (rich hero's girlfriend's mom) is a hoot? Last week, when Pilar (hero's mom) stayed with them temporarily, Silvana was trying to coach her sassy maid into pretending they're swanky and not totally broke as the case really is, and the maid was all, "I think she's going to notice that we don't even have toilet paper."
 

LOL! That is funny. I think I will have to record this one. The whole gangster thing (and the corruption of a minor- the cute kid from Corazon Salvage and Mi Pecado) is a bit dark. But I like the two galans and the heroine is cute and spunky.
 

Univision cut a big section out of Friday's show. If you look at it at noseq.com, Eman goes from Mari/Vicki's room to Ilitia's. He's madder than hops and starts very savagely kissing her. Ilitia gets into it and they do the deed. All you see is Eman and Ilitia in bed with regret all over Eman's face. He's pissed off that MV slept with Jorge yet what does he do but go sleep with Ilitia. Now that is testosterone brain to the hilt. He might have satisfied a part of his body, but his heart he has damaged by what he has done. And the repercussions? You know there has to be plenty of them.
 

Hi everyone, I'm back from my vacation and am playing catch-up. Wow, what a disappointment that Uni is chopping up these last episodes. Idiots! I watched Friday's episodes on noseq.com and was disappointed that they left out the scene where Muneca tells Fidel she's proud of him for helping El Lirio de Plata, then he almost reveals his feelings for her but is interrupted by Garduno, grrrrr. It looks like I was wrong about Jorge; he's a money-grubbing gold digger!
