Thanks so much for the links. We will back later this evening to comment on Friday and tonight's Reina.
Wow! What episodes. It is never boring or stale, it just keeps going.
So Teresa was the one that sent Flores those pictures, then she gets pictures and assumes Flores sent them. They had quite the stand off in his office. Now he has Mario! I doubt Mario will talk, I was surprised that they could arrest Mario for that bag of money, but they didn't look under the couch for his weed, really!
Dris is the worst, the very worst! I can't believe he called in that tip about Teresa and then calls Don Epifanio and then shows up in Mexico. I liked how Don Epifanio kept denying he knew Teresa, wasn't the same girl, lol. Dris made one big mistake! Don Epifanio, I think, isn't going to help him with nada! It did pique Don Epifanio's curiosity though! He just had to find out what Teresa has been up to, since she left jail.
I like Oleg but I too think the Russian Mob is way worse than Don Epifanio there in Mexico. In real life, even the Italian Mob was scared of the Russians, they take no prisoners. I too agree that Don Epifanio has some loyalties but Oleg has none. It's all about the enemies with him. I know Oleg must have some type of feeling for Teresa, but I am wondering if Don Epifanio has the same? He is sure acting like it. He really could have taken her out a long time ago, and he knows where she's been and what she has been up to all this time. He kept his word which really surprised me.
It was different to see Patty schmoozing with the elite while Teresa was hard at work with her men. I didn't think she'd go out on those boats again, but she does. The men do respect her and she treats them well.
Didn't Suliman get a clue when Dris kept repeating what he said, about the shipment of hash oil and the Coast of Spain? I think he did, cause he didn't say much afterwards.
I also liked how Teresa held Eddie's feet to the fire, let him know she knew he took all that money before, and he better never, evah do it again. He still looks like he wants to pee his pants ; )
That dream that Teresa had sure was scary and now Mohammed has been taken off by some thugs. Poor Fatima.
Happy Holidays everyone and can't wait for Thursdays Episode.
I got a kick out of Epifanio and Batman gossiping about Teresa and loved hearing all their slang. Epifanio and Batman musing about Teresa and her rich lesbian was funny. I'm thinking Epifanio must be impressed with Teresa's growth, and would want to profit from it.
Madelaine, agree that was a nice contrast between Patty partying like the Queen Bee that she is and Teresa directing and working side by side with her crew.
Dris's fear is driving him nuts.
Seeing Patty get it on with her old friend, who seemed to be pumping her for information, I realized how I miss the real romance in the show. Patty's coupling there can't hold a candle to Teresa with El Güero and with Santiago.
"Camelia, la Tejana", now being filmed in Mexico,

Deb - The links are so helpful. Lots of rich detail that I miss. Thanks. When the TN ends, I'm going to read the book.
Before I read the comments from the original airing, I thought Patty's bedmate was likely just a vapid rich party boy, but I guess I was wrong.
So Oleg gives Teresa a car and, as commented, she clearly could've bought one herself but her delight at hiss gift shows her soft side -- and maybe his too.
O.M.Gee what an episode last night!
Flores should go to hell, really! He wouldn't lift a finger to help Teresa with Mohammed and instead is salivating at Teresa suffering, like he is suffering???? His girls are safe, Mohammed is dead, like Flores knew he would be. Mohammed was as innocent as Flores' girls.
It was heartbreaking to see what happened to Mohammed and Fatima, truly innocents. It's sad Fatima didn't know what Teresa and Patty did for a living. I think Fatima was right on when she asked Teresa about being involved in drug running especially after what happened to El Guero and Santiago. Teresa is very fatalistic like this was meant to happen and not something she sought. Although, she continues with this line of work.
Oleg is having feelings for Teresa, he sent those men to save her and it was good they were there. Otherwise Teresa would be dead. I didn't like the fact that they left Fatima and Mohammed like that, but they really had no choice.
I kept forgetting to comment on Juarez's suit the whole time he was in la carcel and now he dresses down, lol. No prison togs for him. So now he is helping Oleg out just as he has been this whole time.
I wonder why Epifanio is "helping" Dris. I don't really think he is. Dris is a true idiot. Why didn't he take his money and go far, far away? To somewhere where no one knows his name, in other words. He is an idiot to go to Mexico of all places. And now he is meeting with El Ratas of all people, this won't end well, I can tell. Ratas is more of an idiot than Dris is.
Oh, and El Gato with that messed up face. He is looking for revenge and I liked Pote shaking his head.
I like that Teresa has a more human side than Epifanio and Oleg. I read the older recap and agree about Epifanio and Oleg being fatalistic and to an extent so is Teresa. She feels fate intervened and she has become what she has become. I also agree she had a choice and took her own path. Fate or not.
I too think that maybe Oleg is half in love with Teresa and I swear I think Epifanio is too, although he says that she is like a daughter to him. What surprises me so much about Epifanio is that he has kept his word to her. I thought with him it was dog eat dog, but he is surprising me. So far that is. I want to see what happens further down the road with him.
Can't wait for tonight to see what Flores is up to and what happens with Dris and Ratas.
Love reading your comments Madelaine!

So shocking that BOTH Muhammed and Fatima got killed. I thought Teresa's plan was working. Too bad Fatima got overcome and rushed out of the car. Poor Teresa - she wanted to help her friends, instead she's responsible for them getting killed. Can she make herself whole again after this, or will she cut off future emotional entanglements?
I thought Dris was a goner when Epifanio's man (don't remember his name) sat behind him in the car. That scene reminded me a lot of The Godfather, where the son-in-law gets strangled from behind in a car. But I can see where Epifanio would want to let Dris stick around for awhile to see what shakes out.
Madelaine, Juarez kept it together wearing a suit while in the carcel didn't he? Flores doesn't seem to realize he needs to track Juarez, who still wields power.
Flores was wrong of course not to help with Mohammed's kidnapping. But Teresa had threatened his young kids [even though Viewerville knows she said she wouldn't have had them harmed, which seemed unrealistic to me] and he enjoyed her suffering far too much. He's become corrupt without even realizing it. I wonder if his subordinate (don't remember his name) will turn out to be better.
Was Teresa arrested because they wanted to pin Mohammed & Fatima's murder on her?
I am reading the book at the same time, not a good idea. I get very confused. Mo & Fatima are not in the book.
Variopinta, the increasingly hateful Flores had Teresa arrested because he was accusing her of killing everyone there, mostly the dead Turks. But he threw in Fatima and Mohammed at the end just to rub salt in her wounds. And he even gloated when he had the traumatized Teresa in an interrogation room. He wanted her in the pokey, of course, but he was also trying to get her to rat out Oleg. But "Tesa" just sat there as if turned to stone.
With enough money, you can buy or influence anyone. Most EVERYONE has a price.
A nice firm, not too thin body. She isn't beautiful, but very pretty.
So Flores will be gone for good? I wonder if he suspects there's more than low stats causing him to get axed, that his superior has been paid off.
When Oleg says some people matter, like Teresa, and others don't, like Fatima and Mohammed, Teresa seems to accept this even though she's grieving for them. Pretty damn cold.
I'm not sad that Dris is gone, but I'm surprised that they didn't show it happening. Strange that Dris would call Ratas hermano. Surely Dris would know that they considered him an outsider.
I guess Dris didn't count on the Mexinarcos being worse than the marroquis. When he was in the car with Ratas, I think it dawned on him.
I just finished the bk & get things mixed up between TN & bk, so much is different. Fatima & Mo are not in the bk. Someone said Ratas wasn't either & I had to go the bk & ck that, sure enough no Ratas.
Both bk & TN are great.
