Yago #53 Is it a True Truce?
Labels: yago
Jonas was really though on Yago and even when he was Omar! I wonder why Jonas is like that towards his son.
This episode was hilarious and both terryfing at the same time. Fidel&Camilo made truce for old times sake but it might not last very long because of Katia's attack(?). Camilo hopes that Fidel will "die from boredom" and go back to fighting because that's one of the only things Fidel can't last without.
Jonas was right to be mean to Yago. Yago made the entire family suffer. Bruno would have never learned the truth without spying on Yago.
By the time Melina would eventually spin the beans Bruno would be pissed too.
I hated it when Yago still had tears to shed for Sara. The past is the past. It doesn't make Yago look like the cool Avenger we were expecting him to be from the promos.
Yago gets on my nerves. He can't get over Sara. I really hope they don't end up together at the end.
You know, Fidel could have killed Camilo three times before Julia showed up. But instead he had to stand there and gloat first. I wonder if real killers do that.
Unless Teo is there to stop him, Katia is likely to be the 26th victim of the Body Count.
Countx, thank you for the picture, but I'm not sure how to even go about putting that is. Maybe you can use if with your recap?
Jonas always seemed to have a problem with Omar too. He was very hard on him, and always believed Lucio over Omar.
Vivi, Sara is vulnerable, but so far she has Camilo believing her, so i think she's safe right now.
Julie, the way that Julia used the pregnancy, I don't see how she can get an abortion now.
Julia does seem to have resigned herself to having the baby. I guess there are worse motives for having a baby than to end a war.
But as always, I'm hooked. Makes me think of Yago's line to Sara "Tú eres una droga". Guess we all have our addictions, eh?
Thanks so much for writing this up. Recaps are work for even the simplest stories. And these episodes are very dense.
I know Jonas' rejection was painful, but Yago needed to hear it. Melina has tried to drive home the point that vengeance isn't justice, but I don't think he really listened until Jonas laid into him. I do wish Jonas would have given him a hug first, but I think he's always held Omar to an extremely high (almost impossible) standard. Perhaps he saw in Omar the person he always wanted to be -- educated, an architect with a bright future. Omar, more so than Bruno, was an extension of himself. We see that he holds himself to a high moral standard, so it's not shocking that he does the same for his first born son.
Vivi, you nailed Jonas. I think he's also deeply hurt that all this time Omar/Yago confided in his mom but not his dad. But, honestly, would a hug first have killed Jonas? He's way too hard on Omar and himself too.
Abel sure is teasing Viewerville, asking Fidel if he could smoke but then putting the cigarette behind his ear.
Yago needs therapy. I get hate sex, but this venganza sex again and again and again is nuts. At the moment, I'm more sympathetic to Sara than Yago. She's in a mess with Camilo, and now Lucio seems bent on doing her in. Doesn't Lucio realize he could get Sara killed ratting her out to Camilo? She's Mati's mom after all.
Jonas believed that Omar was capable of pulling off a casino heist and murdering a security guard, but DOESN'T believe Omar is capable of running around hiding his identity and plotting revenge?
Yet when Lucio was accused and jailed of crimes, Jonas didn't believe Lucio could be capable of those type of things, and offered his support.
Meanwhile, he NEVER offered that type of support to Omar when Omar was locked up.
Jonas is a JonASS.
