Ana Leticia had a difficult episode. LOL with tío Mariano wanting to find the mystery woman in Jennifer's death and Ana Leticia finding out Iñaki really knew nothing about Ana Lucía after she prostituted herself for info. Maybe she is starting to lose her touch. . .
It was good to see Santiago back and actually getting some medical care. For me it has been too much Marcelo who reminds me of an Evaristo in training.
On to tonight!
Its seems to me that Santiago is hiding the truth from Ana Lucia for selfish reasons. They are all keep saying that they are doing it to protect her from the truth...What kind of reason is that? Everyone is really annoying right now. In fact I wouldn't mind if Ana Leticia confronts Ana Lucia, at least she gets to know the truth and I know that she won't die from the confrontation, not yet anyway.

In fact I hope Ana Leticia confronts Ana Lucia face to face, at least she gets to find out the truth, and I know she won't be killed after the confrontation, not yet anyway.
I think Santiago is sincere in wanting to protect Ana Lucia. He knows that she would not shrink from confrontation with her nasty sister. He may instinctively know that Ana MeMeMe is as dangerous as an asp in the grass. It could be that "Marcelo" is becoming "visible" to "Santiago" and that is what the headaches are about. It's a relief that he's finally in a hospital to be tested.
There is a shot of Isidro, I think adjacent to the one of Rodrigo and his cell. It is completely creeping me out that this old perv is pursuing Ana Lucia.
Momentito....
Since Ana MeMeMe wasn't above impersonating Ana Laura, why doesn't she impersonate Ana Lucia and marry the old geezer, knock him off, and take all his dinero?
Maybe more later.
Ha ! Inaki are you happy now? What you bargained almost NO information for should now not be nearly as valuable to you. (Already plowed that field....etc. etc.) I love seeing someone get one over on Ana L'Viper.
Knowing these TN writers, I am now apprehensive of Lucy in the sky being up in the air with her silks. Seeing her practicing at home I thought stay on the ground for a while girl. " won't let me down 'Cause I'm already standing on the ground" you know?
TOA
TOA .."plowed that field" ..hmmmm...that was an actual line in Outlander in season one delivered by another nasty, cheeky, little witch !!!!
I'm going to give Ramiro a big pat on the back and a gold star for giving Llora enough info to stop her tears; jumping back on the Valeria fraud case (despite still wondering about the dead hooker thing); and forcing SantMarc to go see a doctor and check himself into the hospital. Now maybe we can finally find out what's wrong with him.
Glad to see both Nerina and Chana encouraging Sol to tell AnaLu the truth, before she finds out elsewhere. Remedios seems to now fully bought into Sol's reasoning for lying and hiding the truth. Ugh!
Of course SoBad is in about as strong a bargaining position as AnaLetmescrewyou was in negotiating with Marc last episode. She really does not have a leg to stand on. Of the 35 million people in Mexico, Ana Luc is the only one who does not know who her bio Mom is. OK SoilyBad, don't tell her, we will. HUH? Oh Noooooo.

What's that little invisible mark on Inaki's forehead? I think it's an expiration date. I can't quite read it, but I do think his days are numbered.
Wouldn't have anything to do with a special type of jacket would it?
I have to thank you for reminding me what else happened last night, because honestly, there was steam coming from the back of my TV and I couldn't quite remember the dull scenes after watching Inaki and AnaLoon. Holy Hitchkock Batman...those two were..well, we all saw. (If Rulli was on set, he was sweating.) Well acted, well scripted and well directed. Had a hoot watching those two. AnaLoon's side eyes were a scream.
And honestly, I was raising my glass at the end from the "Inaki is redeemable" table when he played AnaLoon. I was worried I'll admit that he would spill the frijoles on AnaLu and be in the enemy camp right away. Not to say I still feel totally warm and fuzzy with these two, but at least he gave us a fun twist at the end there.
My fear really....and I always have this. AnaLoon gets a surprise and gets pregnant and she passes it off as Marcelo's. I keep having this sick feeling a baby is popping up somewhere in this yet ( and not the possible past one).
Now we get to compare that to Ram and Llora...YAWN! and the flashback of AnaLu and Santi ( not quite a yawn, but same old same old.)Would I rather watch our nutjob and Mr. Macho? Oh, yes I would.
Glad that at least we finally get Santi some medical help. Anyone have the cliche bingo square for brain tumor?
Her bumpers sure retain their shape on impact. !

I can check the actual run time for an episode (without commercials) on Hulu. I think it's 44 minutes. But if you mean you're going to measure the amount of time spent advancing the plot, a stopwatch might not be precise/sensitive enough.
I will comment more later, but also wanted to let everyone know that Julie will take over Monday recapping for us starting next week, so we will have one recapper a day for each weekday. A big yay for Julie!!!
TOA
Thank you for the intro, Ria. I hope I can keep up the fine standards that you and the team have established. This will be an interesting change of pace after Yago.
So we're back down to 120 episodes? I hope that means that the pace will pick up a bit.
I've also been thinking about this show from the producers' point of view. All along I've been wanting AnaLu to come back to the family tree... but from a production standpoint, that'll be a huge PITA. It's tricky enough to show just AnaLet and AnaLlora together. Once AnaLu shows up, there are going to be more two-way scenes and probably even a few three-way scenes. Those are going to be a nightmare, logistically. I know AB has a stand-in, but does the stand-in have a stand-in?
I'm still sorry that the triplets won't have more time together. I am thinking AnaLet buys an AnaLu wig, then AnaLu gets an AnaLet wig, and then the three sisters spend the next few weeks swiping each others' wigs and creating all kinds of mischief. For example, I'd like to see AnaLet get an ankle injury, and then AnaLlora can pass herself off as a limping AnaLet.
OK, maybe it's a terrible idea. I'm just sad about all the opportunities that are being missed.
TOA..I hope the hurricane misses you. I have friends in NAples.
Inaki is such a fool.
Inaki isn't too foolish, ignoring the obvious. He got what he wanted, in exchange for zilch.
Julie I like your scenario too, if I followed the triple reverse logic. :-)
Let can easily impersonate Luc, and vice versa, but Peg is gonna have a time with those hotpants.
TOA
as the rest of the characters are currently (and ironically) on the list for 5150, some quite literally
...and one cape spin later, he is gone into the night
Rem will stay there to protect him from under-the-bed monsters
...might just have to close her eyes and think of England as he showers her with besos....Sometime later it appears she is thinking of whole Europe by now.....while Inaki mentally high fives himself.......With blood circulation now fully restored to his brain
JULIEEEEEEEE I'm so happy for you/Me alegro por ti! I can't wait to see what you bring b/c your comments always have me cracking up or thinking "hmm, she makes a good point there".
Happy for you too, Ria b/c these epi's are butt breaking! My tushy is always in need of a rub by the end of my recap day lol.
Jarifa - A difficult day for Ana Le indeed. I was actually sort of surprised that she only slapped him!
Anon 8:53 - I think there is both a bit of selfishness and protectiveness in Santi's hiding of the truth from on Ana Lucia. And actually, I hope your wish comes true and we do get the meeting of the sisters soon!
Urban, you made me laugh with your plan for Ana Le. You know what, substitute Isidro's money for someone information she needs, and I wouldn't put it past her.
TOA - very good point on the fall danger that Ana Le might be in, especially with her crazy sister on the loose. Oh, now I hope that it is not part of the plot. Too many hospitals in this novela already.
Susanlynn, oh too funny and too true on the penicillin reference!!
Vivi, I was surprised as well that Inaki didn't spill the beans. In the spirit of still hoping this character somehow will redeem himself, I would like to think that he did not tell about Ana Lu out of some form of protectiveness, knowing the murderous streak behind Ana Le.
Julie, I hope Inaki lives through the novela, if not for him, then for Tadeo.
Anon 12:26 - how funny with the Van Halen reference and same here btw!
Carvivlie, we are missing you here, come around more often!!
Daisy, that's totally what I thought as I was watching yesterday!! I can swear they're setting him up for a brain tumor and that will be a very tried and tired scenario.
Niecie, that was an unexpected surprise from Inaki indeed!
Anna, thanks amiga. I am very excited for us to be able to read Julie's recaps and very much looking forward to that. And definitely would not mind an extra "free" night too :)
And thanks for educating me on 5150. I was like "huh, whuh...?" Learning something besides Spanish, yay!
Llora doesn’t let Ramiro even wipe off the sweat of his face and continues down her honey-do list." Superb. As was this about Ana Laura..."tough customer who is not afraid to cry if delivered sub-standard service."
Yessss, I'm afraid Ramiro is going to have to work very hard, all of his life, for some occasional tepid but tender lovemaking from our wan little sweetheart.
Always an entertaining recap Ria. Definitely better than the episode, other than the smokin' hot lust scene between our two dubious but attractive characters.
And hoping all in Florida, and elsewhere, are safe from the storm. It's been a tumultuous year weather-wise.
