A Que No Me Dejas #29 - Thursday October 20, 2016. Gonz gets the freeze, Leo is a sleaze.
Al tells Gonz he
warned him so many times. Gonz tearful
says he doesn't want to lose Ines. He can't lose Ines. Al says he doesn't want to discourage Gonz
but just like with Pau, he doesn't see how Ines will forgive him. Gonz says he doesn't know what he'll have to
do to get it, but he won't give up until Ines forgives him, but it may be too
late as we see two doctors by Ines bedside, as they look over her medical
charts, it appears to be grave news.
Meanwhile Gonz tells Al he needs to tell someone about this feeling that
is burning him alive. Al tells him to unburden
(desahogate) himself. Gonz confesses
that he told Monica that Ines, was dying. Al shocked as why? Gonz says because he was stupid and didn't
want his lover to leave him.
Leo warns Nuria,
that she needs to be careful about making bigger problems for herself. Nuria
has no desire to side with her father after what he did, but Leo says now with
all of his problems the Gonz isn't the big baddie he once was the other family
is out of the bag, but now her Dad is pissed because he knows she (Nuria) is
the one that set this in motion. Nuria thinks it's going to pass, but Leo
thinks she shouldn't wait. She needs to
go seek her father out and let him know that in spite of everything thing, she
will be by his side and support him.
Nuria doesn't know how Leo expects her to do that.
Gonz says it's as if
he decreed what is happening to Ines, and he can't forgive himself for it.
There is no forgiveness for him saying such a stupid thing. He breaks down more and says it should be him
in that bed and not Ines. He's dying inside
Nuria my love, Leo
says laying it on thick, you are very
intelligent and astute. You aren't
going to want your Papi running to another family for refuge and for something
that he's not getting in this family.
Imagine that out of everyone who is judging him and turning their backs
on him the only one who isn't, is you.
He tells her in that way she will get to that purse and everything she
wants.
Beto confides to
Chelo that everything that is going on with Gonz has made him think about his
own father. What if he has another
family? Brothers, sister or even cousins?
They share his blood and he'd like to know. Chelo warns him to be careful what he
uncovers. Beto says he needs to know one
way or the other and to demand why his father did what he did to Mica.
Still dealing with
the blubbering idiot, Father Al says he knows how the Gonz feels and he's not
endorsing the lies that he told, but Al doesn't think Gonz taking on all the
blame is going to help anyone. Gonz says
he can't help but feel it. Al says when
he's confronts the truth and is really ready to repent he'll feel better. Gonz says he's ready right now and he tells
God he repents and to please not take Ines from
him. Punish him any other way, but do not make her pay for what he did.
He wants to spend the rest of his life with her. No mention if he'll cheat again, but okay, I
guess God will square that up with the Gonz.
Al says Gonz thought he could manage the situation but not forever. Gonz blubbers some more.
Ines wakes to find
Pau by her bedside. A cool reception for
Pau, and Ines asks why Pau never told her about the other family. Pau says they shouldn't talk about that now,
but Ines says ..now! Pau relents and
tells her how they ran into Gonz at his other family's house when she took Mau
to play with Allen/Rene. She didn't want
to tell Ines because she was sick but Ines says she wasn't hopeless or
dying. Or did your father tell you all
that too? Pau is clueless to what her mother is talking about. Ines tells her what Gonz told Monica, that
Ines was dying and soon he would be free for her. Pau says her mother need to not think about
that but instead on getting well. Ines
says maybe she'll be able too, but her soul has already been ripped out and she
doesn't know if she'll ever get it back.
Gonz wants to see
his wife, but Doc Julio says no go. Ines
doesn't want to see your trifling trick behind. Gonz says she's just mad. Doc Julio says I don't know what happened between you and your boo, but you need to sit your
ass because she gave me orders to block you bro. Gonz begs some more and Doc Julio says nope,
it would be dangerous to get her riled up now and his patients well being is
his first priority. The daughters get a
pass to see their mama but not you Gonz.
Sorry bro. Nuria sits coiled like
a snake watching from afar, it's crystal clear what Leo said now.
Ines understands now
why Pau didn't want to come back home or work with her father but Pau says that
was only part of it. She told her father to leave Monica. Ines says it's too late even if he did leave
Monica you can't erase the past. Monica was part of Gonz's life for ten years
and so were her sons. Monica gave Gonz
two sons that she never could. Pau tries to console her mother, but Ines says
the perfect world she thought she lived in was an illusion. Pau says her mother was an irreproachable
wife, a great mother, a grand woman and it was her father who never valued
Ines. Ines thinks it's all just words,
because no matter how Pau sees it, it's clear to Ines that if she had been
enough Gonz would have never had to share his life between her and Monica.
As Mau draws, Chelo
tells Mica that no matter what she does to distract Mau she can't get him to
barely smile. Mica says with the way things are in the house no one will. Mau
begins banging on the table and he hands the drawing to Chelo. She tells him that Pau and Ines are not
there. Chelo is helpless how to help the
boy and Mica suggest she take him to see Dr. Gaston, but Chelo wonders if it
would upset Pau or Ines. Mica doesn't
think so and she'll tell them if they call.
Chelo says she'll get Beto to take them.
The snake brings her
father some coffee and begins her plan of attack. She tells Gonz that he shouldn't worry about
what Doc Julio says, sooner or later Ines will forgive him, he just needs to
let her cool down. Anyway she's going to
talk to Ines and try and intercede for her Dad.
Gonz is in full attention mode now.
Really? Nuria says yes, because I
feel really to blame for Elisa going to talk to my mom. She tells her Dad that yesterday she was very
upset, everyone was, but she's not going to judge him or turn her back on
him. She doesn't want them to be
separated and she will be by his side. She just
wanted him to know. Gonz has his
confirmation now and he thanks Nuria for her words and for the solidarity. He ponders a bit on what he just heard and
then tells her he has to go. She asks where and he says he'll return later.
Al tells the Raq
that if she'd seen Gonzo she would have see just how sorry he is. Well it's a little too late for his sorry ass
to be sorry. Al says c'mon boo don't be
so hard on Gonzo, in all the years I've
know him, I've ever seen him blubbering.
Well he deserves everything he's getting! Pity that he took my friend and her kids into
his dirty between the legs mess! Al says
that was his reaction when he though Ines could die. Raq feels so bad for her friend, she hopes Ines recuperates from this
attack and doesn't allow Gonzo to hurt
her again. She thinks Ines must be
emotionally destroyed. Al wonders if
Ines can forgive Gonz or will they divorce and split up the family? Raq says soon they'll find out. Right now
she's going to the hospital to relieve Ines daughters so they can go home and
rest and bathe.
Cami comes to Pau
who is in the waiting room now.. She tells Cami her mom is still in intensive
care and it hurt her to see her mom that way; so hurt and humiliated. He gives her a coffee and a pastry to cheer
her up and says he'll do it as often as necessary to cheer her up, although he
hopes it won't happen too often. He asks
where the snake and her father are and she tells them Nuria is with her mother
and her Dad she doesn't know, and could care less because she doesn't want to
see. Cam says you don't have to, the main thing is that she takes care of
herself and the baby.
Nuria spins her
story to Ines, I just found out
yesterday and when I did, I went to look for that golfa (whore/tramp)
To put her in her
place and defend you. It didn't turn out well.
Do you forgive me?
*sniff-sniff* Ines says there's
nothing to forgive because the one to blame for all of this is her father. Nuria says Ines has no idea how sorry Gonz
is..why she's never seen him cry and last night he couldn't stop. He'll die without her. Ines says she doesn't want to hear it. Nuria says she and Gonz are going to have to
talk sooner or later and maybe should think about forgiving him. Ines has
always said that no one is perfect and everyone deserves a second chance. Nuria thinks Ines should give Gonz another,
he loves her very much. Ines has had
enough of the sales pitch, and tells Nuria she wants to be left alone so she
can rest. Nuria just asks that her mom
think about it. She goes to kiss her
moms forehead and tells her that she loves her.
Ines grabs Nuria and tells her she loves her too.
Out in the waiting
room, Pau and Cami talk more about
nonsense, blah blah your mom is coming. I have to go to work..okay. Call me if
anything changes. Bye!
Karen goes looking
for Adrian, but the housekeeper tells Karen that he'll probably be home after
he goes to see his sister. Karen is shocked to learn Loonieta is in a loony
bin!
Elisa with her lip
dragging along with her suitcase tells Monica she will call her when she gets
to whatever homeless shelter she lands in so the boys can be in touch with her.
*Cue guilt trip* Monica says she wants
to be in touch with her too, but Elisa says it doesn't look that way. Suddenly
Hurrican Gonz comes in yelling how dare you go to see my wife, you wretched
woman..how dare you! Because of you my wife is on the verge of death. He physically comes upon Elisa but is blocked
by Monica who tells him to calm down.
What you're mother did is unforgivable by God! Oh yeah? Well what God
won't forgive is what you did to my daughter and grandkids. Gonz is tired of Elisa demands and her always
trying to pit his sons against him.
Monica tells him to cool it, that she already booted her mother from the
apartment and she was on her way out.
Gonz says Elisa is a parasite in his ribs. Elisa tells Gonz to shut up with the insults,
he's the last one to be casting stones. He's not blame free! She tells Monica that she hopes her daughter
won't regret what she's doing to her.
She makes a huge show of walking around the couch to grab her one lone
suitcase. No tears from anyone. Go on biatch! Hit the road.
Chelo tells Dr.
Gustavo about Ines heart attack. They discuss how it's affecting Mau. Dr. G
says Chelo was right to bring Mau to them and they will get him calmed
down. He asks what hospital Ines is in.
Monica asks Gonz how
Ines is, and Gonz still emotional and upset says very ill. He wants to know what Ines ever did to Elisa
to propel her to go see Ines knowing about her health. Monica says Elisa wasn't trying to hurt Ines,
she was just trying to put an end to this situation. Umm no Monica, you're mama
was straight up cruel. She was even looking for a pulse. Monica says Nuria
started it by coming to attack her and the boys, she slapped me! She probably
would have done the same thing to the boys.
You need to control her if she tries to threaten again, because I will
be a lioness to defend my boys even against their own sister. Gonz says I'll control my snake if you
control yours. I don't ever want to see
your mother again, and I don't want my sons near her ever. Monica says she's not going to keep her sons
from their grandmother. The love her and
she's always been their for them. She
won't allow Elisa to influence them but they will see her, whether he likes it
or not!
Karen comes to see
Pau who is still in the waiting room (Where does Raq live? Mars?) anyway, Karen
tells her she took the liberty of going to see Adrian. She knows with
everything going on with her mom, Pau wouldn't be able to go and Karen things
Adrian needs to know everything (baby) before he leaves for Spain. Karen freaks a bit..but Karen assures her
Adrian still doesn't know because he wasn't home. She tells Pau, Loon is in a loony bin! That means she can't put Gonzo in prison and
now she's free to tell Adrian the truth!
Adrian wonders why
Loony's doctor called him. Did something happen? Doc tells him that Loony is cooperating and
starting to open up about her father and her life. Does Adrian know what
happened to their father? Adrian says he was small but he only knows his father
suffered a financial crisis, became depressed and had a heart attack that
killed him. Doc says Loony thinks their
father abandoned them and there are some inconsistencies with what Loony is
telling her. The doctor needs to be
certain of how their father died and wonders if Adrian has their father's cause
of death certificate . Adrian says Loony has those documents in her house,
he'll bring them tomorrow.
Camilo tells Leo
that he suspects it was Leo who told Nuria about Monica, because it was Leo who
was outside the office when Cami was talking with Alfonso. Leo says it's not uncommon for him to be
outside the office just like any other employee. Cami says nope, I saw you. I don't know why you told Nuria, or what you
have to gain. Leo denies it and says
Nuria is the one who sought him out, after hearing so many things. Leo couldn't deny it. Cami isn't buy the story, and what Leo did is
called disloyalty to the man he works for.
Leo says those are strong words and all he can do is assure that he's
telling the truth . Cam says he'll leave
it to Gonz to find out from Nuria how she found out. How did Nuria find out where Monica
lived? Was that hard to keep from her
too? Or did you hear my father and Gonz
talking about that too?
Pau expresses her
concerns that the situation is still dangerous, there's the matter of the
fraud. Karen says it's different now
with Loony's situation. She needs to go to Adrian and tells him the truth, he
still loves her. She can reclaim the love of her life and the father of her
baby.
Leo squirming now,
tells Cami they may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but it was Nuria who
started digging around in documents and asking questions, he did nothing. Leo hopes that Cami will believe him, but if
not, it's Cami's word against mine.. Excuse me Outside the office Leo muses
that if Cami goes to gossip to Gonz, Nuria will protect him.
Karen and Pau talk
about Adrian, Karen and their baby finally being together, Karen wants to be
the godmother. She leaves and Dr. G
arrives to see Ines. She's worried about Mau and with everything going on she
will have to postpone Mau's therapy. Dr.
G says don't worry what's most important is Ines, and they can count on him for
anything. He asks who Ines cardiologist is.
Dr. Flores.
Raq is with Ines and
she cautions that she isn't there to upset Ines, but Ines wants to hear right
now everything that happened and when and why her friend didn't have her
back! Raq says I was going to tell you
but I wanted to wait until you were better.
You know I wasn't going to stay quiet about this! I knew it was going to
hurt you, but I know if it was me I would want a friend to tell me about
Alonso. Ines says yes of course it's
hard to tell something to someone when you know it's going to hurt them. Raq says she wants Ines to know that she
would never support Gonz over her and she, Al and Cami are there for her and by
her side no matter what she needs.
Pau tells Dr. G that
Ines will be happy to see him. She asks about Mau and the doc tells her they
managed to soothe the boy. They've
assured him that Ines and Pau will return and not leave him like his Dad did. Pau is grateful. Just then Gonzo comes in and
wonders why Dr. G is there, isn't he the therapist for Mau? Pau says yes, but he's here to see how Ines
is. Gonz is not happy.
Oh so Camilo and Al
knew? And they didn't tell me either?
Ines is all sorts of hurt, everyone knew but her. Oh so now they're going to support me?
They'll stop working with Gonz? Raq
realizes it looks bad and tells Ines yes of course they support her, they know
she's the victim in all of this. Ines
is crushed but she says she needs to have her friends support, to have someone
assure her that she did nothing wrong to deserve this from Gonz. Raq tearfully tells her friend she has the
support, but Ines needs to dedicate herself to getting better. Everyone that loves her wants to see her
well. She has so much left to do for her daughter and now Mau and her friends
and..me! Tears roll down both ladies
faces and Ines looking fortified by her friends pep talk , tells Raq not to
worry she's not going to give anyone the satisfaction of seeing her
defeated. *circle snap* Girl power! Monica you better find a friend!
Gonz the jealous
lout, tells Dr. G that he and his family can take care of Ines, there's no need
for him to be there. Dr. G says he
wasn't intending to be imprudent, he just wanted to offer his support and help. Gonz tries to assert himself again, but Pau
shuts him down and tells Dr. G that he isn't being imprudent at all and she
will tell her mother he came by, she is sure that Ines will appreciate his
concern. Dr. G says he goodbyes and
Gonz rebuffs his handshake. Pau scolds Gonz for being rude, and Gonz doesn't
care Dr. G had no reason to be there and he doesn't want to discuss it with
her, she's already distant with him since yesterday and it's worse today. Pau says well what do you expect? I found out
you hit my mother! Gonz doesn't want to
talk about it..not here in a public place.
What he does want Is for her to move back home for at least a few
days. Ines and Mau need her. Pau agrees
but only if Ines asks her. Gonz says well he's asking. Pau says well tough, because I'm not doing
jack cheese for you. Gonz is fit, it
doesn't feel good to lose control of the women in your life.
Poor Ines is laying
in bed thinking about the lies Gonz told her. She flashes back to Gonz telling
her that Al and Monica were lovers and that Rene was their son. She relives the kick in the gut she received
from Elisa gleefully telling her that Monica had a lover alright…her husband
Gonz! And she also was the mother of his son, Allen and Rene! Poor Ines..she cries over the painful memory
and maybe regrets that she didn't drag Elisa over to the fountain and drown
her. I would have.
Beto and Chelo put a
sleeping Mau into his bed. Beto whispers
that he needs to talk to Chelo and she reminds him that Mau can't hear. He says he's changed his mind and he'll tell
her in an hour. She can doll herself up and make herself even prettier than she
already is and meet him in half an hour in the garden.
Camilo tells Al his
suspicions but Al thinks it's Gonz won't believe him. Cami agrees but he has no reason to tell Gonz
and Ines already knows and not because of Nuria. Al says well it doesn't matter, because Gonz
had confidence in Leo and he betrayed him.
Cami says Gonz has enough problems, maybe they'll just be causing more
and Cami doesn't have one hundred percent proof. Al disagress, Gonz needs to know. Leo is too
confident because he's engaged to Nuria, but
Leo was disloyal to Gonz. He's got to go down! Cami doesn't think Leo is marrying Nuria out
of love but for personal gain. He may
not like Nuria but she doesn't deserve that.
Al agrees, but while Leo may think he's fallen into silk sheets,
enduring Nuria may cost Leo more.
Leo is already
prepping Nuria for what she needs to tell her father. She's not worried about Camilo, her dad will
believe her. Just leave it her hands. What else did he want to discuss? Leo says with everything going on and the
affair coming out, perhaps they should postpone the wedding. Nuria says nope, you're crazy. My mother will be well by that date. If she isn't oh well, because I'm not putting
off my happiness because of others problems.
Leo says are you sure? Yup, at
the end of the month you and I are husband and wife, got it?
Dr Julio tells Gonz
that Ines is much better now and will start her medical therapy to control
things. Gonz is happy this means she's getting better. Yup she's no longer clinging to life. Gonz is happy and wants to see his wife
now. Nope, still no dude, she doesn't
want to see you. Gonz wants the doctor
to help him convince Ines, just see him for a minute. Doc Julio says he'll try but if she says no,
and no matter if she's better, Gonz is still not getting in to see her. Doc says he'll come back and let him know
what Ines says. Raq arrives and it's a
temperature drop, as Gonz asks Raq how Ines is.
She does a Mau..I-don't-hear-you.
She grabs a magazine and plops on down as Gonz repeats himself. I'm talking to you comadre, how is my wife,
how is Ines? *crickets* Ooh that Raq, she don't play.
Adrian is back at
the office and nosy Odioette interrogates him about Loony. He tells her he
needs to find the death certificate of his father. She offers to help. Adrian says it's probably in a box somewhere at his sisters
house. He goes into his office and the
phone rings..it's Pau. She needs to talk
to him. Adrian is cool after the
previous encounter. Pau says she really needs to talk to him, can they meet at their beach..er..the beach
where they used to meet? Adrian agrees. They hang up and Pau is thankful to God that
Adrian agreed to see her.

Delilah- Such a fun recap! Yep, I love Raquel. Every woman needs a good loyal girlfriend. On the other hand, I know they're bros, but Al was showing the Gonz way too much sympathy for my taste.

I must have already said this but I'm betting that Julieta's father committed suicide. I wonder if she saw it happen.

There's a question that's been bugging me for a while: Why on earth is Alfonso friends with The Gonz?
Also, why does Camilo need to know who told Nuria about The Gonz's philandering and side family? What does he care? It is incoherent enough as it is that a man like his father would cover up for Gonzalo's extramarital affairs all these years but Camilo?
