TELEMUNDO Y MÁS (#2): La Doña 1, El Señor de los Cielos 7, y más: Week of January 6, 2020
TELEMUNDO WEEKEND EDITION (continuación)
Here's Page 2 for the week. The current evening telenovelas are as follows (all times are Eastern Standard Time):
• 9-10PM—La Doña 1 (abridged)**
• 10-11PM—El Señor de los Cielos 7
**Telemundo will be concluding the abridged version of its popular telenovela La Doña at the end of this week. Season 2 of La Doña will begin next Monday, January 13, at 9 pm. From the little that I've read and am able to report without spoilers, the plot will begin two years after the events of season 1. Saúl and Mónica (La Doña's daughter) are married. He is working as a lawyer for the Fundación Renacer and she is a law student. Together with Mónica's aunt Regina, they are working to end violence against women. Their efforts are opposed by los Arcoiris, a gang that is known to torture and murder women. For several reasons, Altagracia Sandoval (aka La Doña), who has been living outside Mexico, decides to return. Needless to say, THE PLOT THICKENS. I should add that many of the actors in season 1 have returned for season 2, along with a number of new ones, among them David Zepeda, Carlos Ponce, and Marisela González.

Dondi356: Berenice is officially Bizarro Gaviota 2.0 UGH.
1.) Looks like Berenice has cemented herself as Bizarro Gaviota 2.0 & she went back to Psycho Jaime.
2.) Berenice is very STUPID & not that bright anyway.
3.) The Casillas posse busts Dalila in broad daylight.
4.) Ojeda is plotting to exterminate the entire Casillas family.
5.) Navarro, Colon & Corina need to get off their asses & do something.
6.) What does Dylan the Freak have planned for Luzma ?

La Dona. Gee. When Braulio got all those years of prison for his various crimes, I thought that maybe the Mexican law enforcement system does work sometimes (though evidently Altagracia can kill as many people as she wants and get away with it). But then when he managed to escape very easily after less than a day in prison, I guessed not.

Dondi356: I see the Casillas family will try to get Dalila to flip over to their side.
1.) Izzy, Skinny & Co., meet face-to-face with Dalila.
2.) Ojeda asks Dalila what's going on. I don't think he knows that his downfall might happen soon.
3.) El Capo gets out of his private plane. I'm assuming he had Joaquin & Violeta taken out ?
4.) Jaime & his campaign strategist have breakfast. Once again: Berenice still has no damn clue....
5.) Diana & Amado are amazing to watch.
6.) Corina & Dalila get into a hissy fit over the phone.
7.) Dylan calls El Capo. I'm assuming they're plotting more chaos against the Casillas family again.
8.) No Carla appearance ?
9.) Castillo still cranky again.
10.) Refugee Chick's trying on some dresses.
11.) Valdes still upping the ante even further. Nobody has tried to stop him yet....
