Nihan goes to the kitchen to speak with Efsame and hand her a list of dishes she wants prepared tomorrow for Leyla’s welcome dinner. Efsame takes a look but claims that the list is extensive and she cannot possibly do all of that. Nihan callously tells her that she will have to spend her whole day tomorrow in the kitchen. Efsame looks unconvinced, by Nihan dismisses her and calls Eda our to the hallway. There, the two of them conspire against Efsame: Eda is to make sure that her cousin will be too busy to leave the kitchen and not pay attention to Leyla’s move in at all. Eda approves of the plan.

Kemal, Zehir and Ayhan are in the warehouse, planning the details of Deniz’ kidnapping. Kemal says they will distract Emir’s men with Leyla’s move in: Ayhan sends his minions to distract the guards so that Kemal can go in and pretend to be one of movers.

At Hakan’s residence stairwell, Emir divulges his great plan: the Kozcouglu security will be lax tomorrow so that Kemal can take the opportunity to sneak into he mansion and kidnap Deniz, though he’ll never make it past the gates with because the police will be waiting for him right there. Hakan asks Emir why he’s going through this effort at all. Emir replies that he will show the lovebirds two things: one that he is Deniz’ legal father, and two that he will prevent his daughter’s kidnapping and finally become Nihan’s hero.

Nihan is in her room, playing with Deniz on her bed. After a while she asks herself how she will be able to separate herself from her daughter, then hopes it will be for the best. She trusts that Kemal has the solution to the problem and that they will be able to resolve everything coming their way.

That evening, Asu goes to the living room to offer Kemal some tea. He vehemently rejects it and Asu asks if he really hates her so much. Kemal says he’ll forgive her if she spills the beans on everything she knows about Emir, but Asu says she can’t do that because Galip will come after her. Kemal ends the conversation with a harsh goodnight and she responds the same. He goes to his room to stare at a photo of Deniz on his phone (the same one Fehime keeps hidden under her mattress), and says aloud that they’ll be together soon.

The next morning, Emir is spending quality time with Deniz in the nursery. They’re both sitting on the floor mat, playing with the rabbit. He kisses Deniz’ forehead and she laughs. Emir says that “There are so many things I will learn from you, and you will teach me how to love.” When he notices Nihan’s presence at the threshold, he adds “Really, a daughter makes her father feel happy. Your mother is here.”
Nihan finally walks into the room and Emir kisses Deniz again. She says “The more victims you have, the bigger your obsession.” She crouches to take Deniz away from him, but Emir reproaches her for being so cold to him. Nihan claims that his evilness doesn’t subside anyway, so she takes Deniz. Emir feigns to give up on her and almost walks out the door when Nihan asks him if he will go to work today. Emir replies he’s working from home and makes his exit. Nihan locks the door and immediately calls Kemal to warn him about Emir’s change in work plans, as well as ask if they should cancel the kidnapping altogether. At that moment, Kemal is driving to the Kozcouglu mansion and says he will not.

Outside Leyla’s patio, Ayhan’s men help her move everything out of her home. She takes a look at her house one last time. He asks her if she’s ok and she says yes, while quietly staring at him. He comments that she shouldn’t look at him in that particular way. Leyla reminds him they have no time to waste right now: they have to kidnap her niece. As Ayhan concedes, Leyla gets into his car.

Kemal arrives at the mansion and waits a few cars down.

Soon Leyla is already setting her things down in her new room, with Nihan and Vildan’s help. Emir comes in and welcomes her, but Leyla retorts if she should feel so welcomed at all when he blackmailed her out of her home to begin with. Emir isn’t having it today and walks out, saying he hopes she enjoys her new room. At that point, Nihan texts Kemal to let him know that Emir is currently in the study.

Kemal calls Ayhan to tell him that they will start the plan right now. Ayhan then calls his minions and orders them to go and distract the guards at the front gate. Meanwhile, Kemal puts on a baseball cap and starts approaching the gates. Emir is revealed to be watching his surveillance cameras and taking note of Kemal walking closer to the home.

As Ayhan’s minions pretend to almost crash their cars into each other, Kemal stands to the side and waits for the guards to react. Once the guards get distracted, Kemal pretends to be a mover so he takes a box of Leyla’s things and goes past the gates. However, he only makes it a few steps in because the box falls apart and Kemal is forced to waste his time and put the items back in. A blond guard notices and demands to take a look at Kemal’s face, then acknowledges that Kemal is not part of the moving party. The other guard comes and together they prevent Kemal from leaving- Emir then takes the opportunity to go downstairs and confront him.

Vildan anxiously watches the window, while Leyla receives a text message from Ayhan that they’re ready now: the women unzip a red suitcase and Zehir pops out. Leyla leads him up the stairs to Deniz’ nursery, while Nihan goes outside to distract Emir. When she asks what’s going on, Kemal says that he came to visit Leyla, and Nihan pretends that was a valid excuse. Emir retorts that his intelligence has been insulted, adding that Kemal would not be dressed as a thief if he were simply trying to visit Leyla. Just then, Hakan and various officers pull up at the front gates, and Emir satisfactorily states that they will get to the bottom of this right now. Nihan starts to look a little nervous.

Emir’s guards are still holding Kemal in place as Hakan and his men approach. Kemal asks if they really will arrest him for trying to help Leyla. Emir says “We we’re lucky enough to catch him in the act.” He pauses and suddenly realizes that he’s been fooled by them and runs upstairs to look for Deniz. Nihan runs after him, asking what’s going on. When they reach the nursery, Emir flips out and desperately yells throughout the house “Where’s Deniz? Where’s my daughter?”

Kemal is being handcuffed and led out to the squad car, satisfied that his plan worked. He thinks back to the plan at the warehouse: Kemal will distract Emir’s guards as Zehir sneaks into the mansion through the red suitcase. Once there, Zehir enters Deniz’ room and sneaks her out of the premises through the back door. Kemal says that while Emir will be busy trapping him by the gates, Deniz will be freed.

Emir continues freaking out, running to attack Kemal and demand that he reveal Deniz’ whereabouts. Nihan and Hakan try to calm him down, but Emir is livid and continues grabbing Kemal’s collar. “Where’s my daughter?” He demands. Kemal taunts him with “You’re asking your enemy?” Emir continues to aggressively grab him and demands to get Deniz back, but Kemal calmly says “She’s somewhere, and you’ll never find her.” They continúe back and forth, until Nihan yells at them to stop fighting with each other because her daughter has been kidnapped. Emir swears he will press charges: he gives Kemal 24 hrs to return Deniz or he will take a loved one’s life every single day. Kemal is finally lead to the squad car, and he lies that he doesn’t have Deniz.

Hakan tells his men that he wants to look at the surveillance videos because Deniz Kozcouglu has been kidnapped.

Zehir is driving to the forest, looking at his overhead mirror and smiling at Deniz, who’s in a car seat at the back of the car.

Tariq arrives home and asks if his parents are home- Banu says that they’re not. He calls his father’s cell phone, but no one answers and Tariq gets annoyed.

At the warehouse, Fehime asks if Deniz will be brought here. Ayhan says no. He asks them to remain calm, drink their tea first and then they will leave the premises to go to the meeting place.

At the police station, Kemal is informed that he cannot leave the city because he could be called to give a statement again. Kemal stands up and calmly says that he really does not have Deniz. Hakan says that even if that were true, would he really be willing to risk his parents’ and sister’s lives? Kemal counters that Hakan should be focusing on imprisoning men like Emir instead, leaving him speechless.

At the Kozcouglu mansion, an officer views the surveillance cameras and tells Emir that there’s nothing suspicious there. Emir remains unconvinced, and Vildan takes the opportunity to pretend that she’s very worried about Deniz- Leyla does the same. Emir isn’t having it and tells the women to stop feigning their worry: he asks the officers to investigate everyone in the house except for Nihan. Leyla says they have nothing to worry about, so the police can investigate her all they want. Emir starts losing his patience and walks out of there.

Nihan chases after Emir, holding onto his arm as she asks him to not unleash his fury on her mother and aunt. Emir retorts he hasn’t gotten started yet- he tries walking past her and out the door, but she desperately asks him where he’s going. Emir says he’s losing his patience with her, and tries to walk out again but she still stops him. Emir admits to suspecting her, and Nihan asks him to be clear. Emir says he wants her to tell Kemal to return Deniz, and that he specifically asked the officers not to interrogate her because he knows her answers would be dissatisfactory for him. Nihan brushes that aside and says that she will go with him, but he orders her to stay. Nihan tries to convince him that she will go with him because she wants to find Deniz. Emir suddenly gets a great idea and has a flashback of Nihan burning down her parents’ home. He lets her go with him, and asks her to bring a jug of gas with her. When she asks what he’ll do with it, Emir says that she just gave him a great idea- he’ll burn down the kidnapper’s home.

Zeynep knocks at the Soydere door and Tariq answers it. She asks if Fehime is there, because they had agreed on a family visit today. She remains at the door, and asks him not to tell her father anything, but Tariq reports that no one is home right now.

Emir and Nihan are driving to the Soydere’s, and he remembers again the flames engulfing the Sezin home. Nihan warns him not to burn down that house. Emir comments that they are both the same person because their anger blinds them. Nihan asks him to stop scaring her, then asks if he’s a killer. Emir says he’s worse than that- he’s a father with a kidnapped daughter. Nihan says she will not let him burn down the Soydere home. Emir comments that the house is worthless anyway. An alien phone call comes in and Tufan reports that he’s tailing Kemal out of the police station.

Kemal is driving to the meet up place and notices a red car tailing him.

Zehir is still driving and asks Deniz if she’s not feeling as cold anymore- he lowers the heat. He comments that he knew she wasn’t Emir’s daughter. Just then, he gets a call from Kemal, who affirms that they will get together as soon as he loses Tufan. Zehir continues with the plan and drives into the forest.

Ayhan is in a black van with Fehime and Hussein. His minion calls to tell him that the police is currently investigating the warehouse. Ayhan tells him to let them search the whole thing: let it be as easy as possible. He hangs up and Fehime comments that they should have left a note for the kids. Hussein says that they should leave that up to Kemal.

Kemal is trying to lose Tufan, so he speeds up and swerves between cars. Tufan tries hard to catch up, but Kemal is much more agile and manages to lose him for a few minutes. He parks to the side and gets out of the car, walking down the street. Eventually Tufan catches the car and approaches it, but when he gets close he doesn’t find Kemal there and curses his luck.

Kemal walks to another blue car and takes the car keys strategically placed on the rear wheel. He opens the trunk to unzip a bag. He dresses in a black blazer and soon drives off in that blue car.

At the police station, an officer tells Hakan that all ports of exit are being closely monitored and that Ayhan’s warehouse showed nothing suspicious so far. Hakan doesn’t believe that this is enough to stop Deniz from being smuggled out of the country.

Zeynep, Tariq and Banu are in the living room. Zeynep worries that her parents are missing without a trace. Tariq thinks she’s just exaggerating, whereas Banu quietly sits there, looking kind of guilty.

Emir and Nihan arrive at the Soydere’s. He opens the trunk of his car to pull out the gasoline jug. Nihan tries to stop him from dousing the Soydere home, but she’s unsuccessful and he manages to pour it all around the front entrance to the building. The remaining Soyderes hear Nihan struggling with Emir, so they step out to investigate what is going on and are surprised to see them there. Tariq immediately asks Emir what he’s doing, while Nihan asks him to step out of the way and Zeynep comments that she smells gasoline. Emir opens his lighter and threatens them to return Deniz or else. Tariq wants to know why they would have her in the first place. Zeynep suddenly remembers the moment when she handed over to Kemal the photo of Deniz that Fehime kept hidden under the mattress. She remembers asking him if Deniz was her niece. In the present, Emir threatens them that they will die if Deniz is not returned. Nihan demands that he cut the nonsense out already. He decides to test Nihan and offers her the honor of burning down the Soydere home. He holds the open lighter out at her so that she can formally prove that she’s not in cahoots with Kemal. Nihan says she’d rather die than do that. Emir says he’ll do it himself then, but she runs to the threshold to stop him from dropping the lighter. When he orders her to step away from the home, she asks him to drop the lighter and prove that he doesn’t love her at all. Emir lividly stares, tempted to burn her down with the house. He decides against it and Nihan breathes some relief. Emir tells Tariq: “Your brother did everything to light up a volcano that when it explodes, no one will be safe, not even my wife.” Nihan grows concerned. Emir suddenly realizes that Fehime is not there and asks where she is- Tariq answers that she’s out. A perturbing thought bounces in Emir’s head so he quickly walks back to his car as Zeynep runs after him out of the property. As he’s about to get into his car, Zeynep asks if Deniz is actually Kemal’s daughter. Emir says “Focus on the problem, Zeynep. Tell me where she is and only then can you save your precious family. The best thing for everyone is that Deniz reappears.” He gets into his car and drives out while Zeynep waits for a taxi and disappears too.

Nihan asks Tariq and Banu to clean up the exterior of the house and to pay careful attention to the areas where Emir concentrated the gasoline. Tariq interrupts her and asks if it’s true that Kemal kidnapped Deniz. Banu chimes in that she wouldn’t believe such a thing from Kemal. Nihan swallows and says that the only thing she knows to be true is that her daughter was kidnapped.

Emir drives to the barbershop and corroborates that the Soydere parents are up to something. He calls Tufan to demand that they meet at Kozcouglu Holding, and announces that Kemal is planning to take Deniz to his parents.

Asu follows Emir into the building, asking if Kemal really did take Deniz. Emir yells at her for being so useless- living with Kemal serves her no purpose because she can’t stop him from going forth with his plans anyway. She asks him to stop insulting her, reminding him that they are in this together and that if one of them suffers, so does the other. Emir doesn’t have time for her useless pep talk, and warns that when he finds Kemal he put him back in his place, next to her. He walks off without her.

Kemal arrives at the forest/park and takes Deniz out of Zehir’s car to place her into his own. He drives away alone, talking to his princess. She waves hello at him. Kemal asks if she enjoys music like Nihan, so he puts on classical music. Deniz continues to wave her hand at him as he smiles.

Hello,

I’ve said it before, but Nihan (the character, not the actress) is terrible at acting. Her fear of Kemal taking Deniz away from her was so real not long ago, yet she’s incapable of channeling that whenever she needs to put on a show for Emir. She was undeniably calm about her daughter’s disappearance, not to mention her reaction was ridiculously unreal when she went out to confront Emir and Kemal at the driveway. Just no...

I find it unbelievable that Emir doesn’t have surveillance cameras inside the home, and even less believable that he has no cameras tracking the back exit. Zehir should have been picked up somewhere on the cameras. I know, I know, beanie! But seriously...cat and mouse game getting so tiring...two distractions neatly wrapped in a package for Emir? I’m surprised they didn’t do three! Wasn’t it Emir’s turn at the chess board too? Why did he let Kemal make a move first?

For some reason I worry about Deniz being raised by Fehime and Hussein. They mean well, but they suck at raising kids. Kemal was the only lucky one and that was probably chance. Regardless, hopefully this works out for Deniz, but I think it’s impossible for them to leave the country with her, and it’s impossible to hide in Turkey from Emir. I’m afraid Kemal’s plan won’t work, unless this is part of his car and mouse game too. At this point who knows.

I think Zeynep is tailing Emir. Or was Emir foreshadowing her and she’ll end up selling out her brother again???

Thank you for the excellent recap, AnonFri; your detail is noteworthy.

ITA about Nihan. She was way too calm for a mother whose child is supposedly missing. I expected tears and desperation, but zilch...NADA! She showed more emotion when she was trying to stop Emir from burning down Fehime's house which, I must add, was great to see.

The other character who was not so convincing was Banu, but then she has never cared for Tarik's parents so maybe it wasn't too suspicious when she didn't react to Tarik's concern that he couldn't find them.

I'm not too worried about Deniz being with Kemal's parents because I don't think that his intention is that they raise her. He probably just wants them to look after her until he resolves everything with Emir. Once that is taken care of, Kemal will want his own little family back.

Episode 180 – Part 1

We start in Emir’s office where Galip is on the phone asking for and thanking someone for their assistance in finding his granddaughter. A team of folks are the office assisting with the search and they locate a tracking a device that Emir has had planted somewhere. Galip opines that Nihan is involved in the kidnapping and they are monitoring her phone but she hasn’t used it to contact Kemel. Parked on the side of the road near a river is Ayan with Fehime and Hussein. The grandparents are nervous as they anxiously await Kemel’s arrival with Deniz. Emir is leaving the office when Nihan arrives and is shocked to learn that he has found Deniz already, “how” she questions. Emir then flashes back to the task he gave Banu, plant a tracker in Fehime’s purse. Banu was hesitant at first but after being bullied and reminded of the money, she agreed to plant the device. Of course Nihan wants to go with Emir to find Deniz and he initially doesn’t agree. He only allows her accompany him after requiring she hand over her phone.

Hakan, having received the call and the location details from Emir, is leaving the station when Zenep comes up to his car. She thinks her parents are helping kemel and she’s worried about them. He reveals he already knows and she assumes he’s part of this somehow but he indicates he’s just doing his job. She then tells him that Kemel is Deniz’s biological fall and asks for his help. Hakan confesses he’s not an Emir fan but kidnapping is illegal. Zenep, fretful for her family, tells him she’ll never forgive him if anything happens to them, to which he retorts that for everyone’s good he hopes her brother returns with Deniz.

After Hakan drives away, Zenep calls Kemel who doesn’t answer but we see he does call Ayan to let him know he’ll arrive soon. In the meanwhile, Emir and the gang including the police are also in route. Nihan tries to convince Emir that Kemel is not involved and he wouldn’t involve his parents in such a scheme. He questions whether or not she’s worried that Kemel will get caught. Nihan confesses fear but it’s for Deniz. We then see the police are down the road from the parked vehicle that Emir was tracking they report back to Hakan who cautions them to be careful. Emir asks Niha “do you know why I allowed you to come” and then answers his own question adding he wants her to accept her role in all of this.

With everyone in place with the police, they learn that the parked car has 3 people inside and Emir demands that they not allow them to escape. A vehicle pulls up behind the parked car under surveillance and the police take this as their queue to close in with Emir and his team following close by. Once they surround both cars Ayan exits the vehicle questioning what’s going on. And we find that the car that had just driven up was driven by Zehir and not Kemel and Deniz is nowhere in sight. Zehir having exited the vehicle teases them all about the reception they’ve provided him. A baffled Emir barks at Zehir “how did you know”. We then get a flashback to Kemel having received a text from Zenep after he didn’t answer her call. She provided enough warning for Kemel for him to decide to switch cars with Zehir as well as give him his cell phone and to tell Ayan and his parents to stay put. A worried Nihan looks on has Ayan explains why he’s parked on the side of the road waiting for Zehir. A defeated Emir marches off having had enough of being made a fool of.

Meanwhile Kemel has arrived at the hideout with Deniz and welcomes her to her new temporary home, while wishing her mom was there with them. She unfortunately is riding back with Emir who is pissed and in pain. He asks for his pain pills from the glove box and slams a few down his throat when she passes him the bottle. A happy Kemel is playing dad, preparing to change and feed Deniz and spend some long overdue quality time with her. We see his absolute joy and adoration as he’s caring for her. He even pleads with her to call him papa

Episode 180 – Part 2

Zenep goes back to her parent’s house and Tarik wants to know where she ran off to. She informs him that she went to the police station and reveals what she found out about the police are looking for their parents. Tarik is trying to make sense of it all and she tells him not to worry. Banu who was snooping heard enough to go make her report to Emir. Meanwhile, Tarik appears to learn for the first time that Deniz is his niece.

Back at his office, Emir learns from his team that Nihan has not used her phone to contact anyone at all. A tearful Emir thinks back to his many times with Deniz including when he thought she called his papa and when he told her she can teach him how to love. Galip interrupts his seemingly sincere fatherly thoughts to discuss what the plan is if Kemel doesn’t appear. Emir is confident he is nearby because Nihan is still at his side. He speaks of having men on every corner watching all of Kemel’s family when he receives Banu’s call regarding Zenep’s conversation so he leaves the office.

Back at the hideout, Ayan has arrived with food and supplies for Kemel who is nervous looking out the door. Ayan tells him to relax as he’s sure no one has followed him and that the house is not registered in his name. They then get back to business of trying to figure out who ratted on them. They go through the usual list of family suspects but they conclude that it was Asu. And we see that Asu is calling Kemel yet again to find out where he is. She leaves a reassuring message that he should call her…she wants to help him and Deniz and adds Emir is going crazy.

Nihan calls Kemel on her bat phone to ask about Deniz. He assures her everything is fine and Deniz is sleeping now. She tells Kemel that Emir knows everything and he’s acting crazy and recounting how he tried to burn down his parent’s house but she thwarted it. She feels the plan is too complicated now and has failed. He agrees it’s complicated but thinks it can be solved. Nihan doesn’t agree and wants him to return Deniz. He tries to calm her and ask that they don’t turn back now. She then asks him about the place and its location and unfortunately he tells her. She wants to come to them and Kemel says no, it’s too risky. He begs her not to come knowing she is being watched but being her own worst enemy, she insists she come and Kemel caves.

Fehime and Hussein return home and Tarik fusses about all the mess and drama. Before they get into any real discussion, Hussein eyes Zenep and asks what the hell she’s doing there. Zenep states she came to help them and Hussein reminds her she doesn’t have any parents and wants to throw her out. Tarik intervenes and informs them she saved them from the police having warned Kemel. Hussein walks out and Fehime tells Zenep to be patient with her dad.

Just then Asu slithers by and Fehime tells her to go away and she can’t enter their home. Her newfound ally Tarik jumps to her defense asking his mom not to be so harsh with Asu, stating she’s Kemel’s wife. Fehime points out that’s Kemels problem. Asu fakes innocence and asks why Fehime is so hard on her…she didn’t do anything to betray her asking if it’s because she’s Emir’s sister. Fehime says she is never to enter her house so Asu slithers away knowing Tarik will follow her and he does. Once outside Asu insists she didn’t do anything to betray Kemel and they ponder who could have and conclude it was Banu. Banu meanwhile is about to go into Fehime’s purse to retrieve the tracker when she’s interrupted with Zenep’s departure. After saying her goodbye’s to Zenep, Fehime takes her purse so Banu has to figure out another way to retrieve the tracker.

Episode 180 – Part 3

Before Zenep left the house, she and Fehime had a quick chat about her living arrangements. Fehime assumed she’s still at the hotel and Zenep didn’t correct her stating she’s saving up for a place. Fehime wants to help her in her search for a better place and vows to help her pay her rent. A guilty Zenep took her leave without revealing that despite her conservative family values, she’s shacking up with Hakan, correction, that she has already left the hotel and has a male roommate.

Hakan is about to leave his office when Emir waltzes in with Tufan. He wants to know why Hakan did not arrest Kemel’s parents to which Hakan responds there was no reason to. Eventually Emir gets around to what he wants…he believes the arrest of the parents will bring Kemel out of hiding and he tries to bully Hakan into helping to prove his theory. Hakan tries to reason with him telling him he’s being paranoid. Hakan doesn’t budge and a pissed Emir leaves his office.

Nihan is in her room with Deniz’s toy rabbit. She thinks back to her and Kemel going over parts of the kidnapping plan including when he showed her pictures of the hideout on his lap top. She expresses reservations but he convinces her it will be alright and she will get daily updates and pictures from his parents. Seeing she’s still worried Kemel tries to calm her and she confesses she’s worried for him. She professes her confidence in him and that she will go through it all for him. He swears it will be successful. They turn playful when she tells him to show his trust in her and has a challenge for him. After giving it some thought he does and allows her to put a blindfold over his eyes and he’s to find her. They play their little game with him following her presences blindfolded and end up in the bedroom where he gently pushes her on the bed. Whatever they’re about to get into is interrupted by a phone call that Nihan assumes is Asu but it’s not…but she takes this as her cue to leave. Back to reality she looks at the toy rabbit and speaks to it as if it’s Deniz vowing to find her.

Ok. How and why does Kemel continue with Nihan. She is weak and inconsistent and they will never be together if she keeps this up. Emir is watching her and everyone who has anything to do with Kemel like a hawk. This is not the time to turn back and go off and give away the hide out. Deniz is out of Emir's clutches which is the plan now work to free yourself. Kemel was denied his daughter for year, stay the course and let him work his plan to free them all of Emir. I know she misses her daughter already but Emir is demented and if he ever gets his clutches on Deniz again, he will never let her go, probably over Nihan herself.

I’ve long lost my patience with Nihan. She’s irritating, can’t seem to focus on anything that isn’t Ozan related, and dumb as a rock. If she wasn’t willing to give up Deniz for even a day, what was the point of letting Kemal kidnap her at all? Did she really think she’d be able to go out everyday and see Deniz without Emir finding out? This lady is retarded. She takes one step forward but always ends up going twenty back. If Kemal doesn’t let her see Deniz, she’ll go over to Emir’s side in a second. Kemal should give up on her because she’s just not doing enough for him or even Deniz. I don’t understand her strategy of letting Emir know she’s in cahoots with Kemal. She’s not even trying to be worried about the kidnapping. But Emir’s alien face when he was driving and Nihan blankly said she was worried about her daughter- was priceless!

I was surprised Emir cried when he couldn’t find Deniz. That’s what happens when you play with fire! He lost at his own game.

Asu has to be up to something. Though honestly did stupid Tariq really need to be told that a Banu is the mole? If he were Kemal, he would have reacted much sooner and foiled her plans. Another dumb rock.

Still don’t care about Zeynep: tattletailing on Emir wasn’t heroic at all, it was something any normal person would have done. In the house when her father confronts her and Tariq reveals she saved her parents’ butts, Zeynep puts on her sufrida face to show how difficult her heroic effort was. Please.

Nihan sits on the nursery floor when Eda comes in, asking if she was called. She notices Nihan looks unwell. Nihan stands and gives her a piece of paper with a medicine jotted down- she doesn’t want anyone to know that she’s buying this. Eda goes off to the pharmacy.

At Kozcouglu holding, Tufan oversees three men that are tracking everyone’s movements. So far nothing has been picked up by them. Emir sits on a chair not far from them, and asks Tufan if there’s any news yet. Tufan says no. Emir asks about Kemal, Nihan, the Soyderes, Zehir, Ayhan...Tufan says so far no one has moved from their homes. Emir comments that that’s their strategy so far.

Kemal plays with Deniz on the bed. He lovingly tells her he wants to memorize her face. On the nightstand he placed his engagement ring to Asu, then tells Deniz that he’s waited so long for her, and that though he’s drowned in his love for Nihan, he managed to get reborn upon seeing his daughter. He calls her a miracle. Deniz raises her hand and places it over Kemal’s infinity tattoo, to which Kemal says “You are my eternity, the link that unites us forever.” He kisses her hand and says that he’ll never let her go.

Hours later, Nihan still sits on the floor of the nursery when Leyla comes in and asks if she wants to go for a walk. Nihan remains motionless, so Leyla tells her to lighten up, then asks if she can do anything to help. Nihan replies that she doesn’t know what she wants anymore because Kemal’s plan fell apart- he can’t take Deniz to his parents so now she fears he wants to take off alone with the baby. She wants to stop this now: she needs to convince him tonight that his plan won’t work. Leyla questions how she will go out to see Kemal tonight. Nihan holds out an amber bottle and says that this will help her sneak out tonight.

That evening, Emir comes home and Nihan pretends to be asleep in her room. He enters without knocking and sits down on the bed, saying aloud “I miss her. I remember well the first time she looked at me. She was innocent, she wanted to love and be loved back. She wanted to give me what you couldn’t give me...it’s like she’s telling me ‘I’m your daughter.’ All I want is for her to come back...I’ll find her.” Nihan gets annoyed and starts reproaching him for ruining her life and Deniz’ too. She reminds him that he’s the one trying to steal a paternity he doesn’t own. Emir counters that Kemal is the one doing that, and warns that he would give anything to have Deniz back- destroy the world if he has to. He walks out of there without saying goodnight. Once alone, Nihan stands up to wait by his door.

In his room, Emir takes his narcotic pill and eventually lays down. His alien face stares at the ceiling, until he eventually falls asleep.

Kemal puts Deniz to sleep in the center of the bed. He calls Ayhan to tell him that the few days and nights he’s spent with Deniz will in no way make up for the year that he’s lost- he doesn’t plan on giving Deniz back, so he needs to find a new place to hide in. Ayhan reports that Emir is keeping watch on everyone everywhere. Kemal says that surely Emir is keeping watch on his parents too, then points out that he needs to find the mole.

At Hakan’s, Zeynep confronts him for being on Emir’s side and not helping Kemal keep Deniz. Hakan reminds her that his job is to arrest Kemal because he committed a crime, even if he’s the baby’s father. He adds that this is a dangerous situation for everyone involved, including himself, and asks her to simply let him do his job. He steps away from her and Zeynep remains all huffy.

At the Soydere’s, Banu stands up from the dining table and claims she’s feeling unwell so she will go to the room and rest. Tariq takes note, but asks his mom for some water before making his move. Banu takes the opportunity to go into Fehime’s bedroom to search through the purse to retrieve the microchip, but at that moment Tariq comes in and catches her red handed! He grabs her hand with the chip, asking her what this is about- She looks back him defiantly rather than caught.

Nihan checks up Emir, sneaking up to his bedside and gently saying his name. She presses her fingers into his arm and notices he doesn’t move at all. Convinced he’s down, she exits the room and goes straight down the hall for Vildan and Leyla. Vildan asks her if she’s sure Emir will be knocked out the entire night, to which Nihan replies that the medicine is very effective.

Tariq holds the chip before Banu as he demands to know if she really betrayed his parents. Banu sits on the bed and cries, saying that she had no other choice because Emir forced her to do it. Tariq reproaches himself aloud for ever marrying her, then sits down on the chair and sadly comments that she never loved him. Banu kneels before him to convince him otherwise, claiming that she’s only been doing what Emir tells her to do, just like he used to do when he worked for the alien. Tariq stands up and starts hitting himself on the head, reproaching himself for sleeping with the enemy the entire time. Banu tries convincing him that she loves him a lot, but Tariq covers her mouth and tells her to never say that again. He holds his hand there until Fehime starts knocking on their door. Tariq quickly sits down on the bed when Fehime opens the door without their permission. She notices Tariq looking upset and Banu wiping tears away, so she asks if they really are fighting again. Tariq sits down on the bed and definitively says that their marriage has no solution. Banu seems to be taken aback. Fehime says that the current situation is tense for everyone and she asks him to calm down before making a final decision. Tariq agrees with his mother, and Banu’s expression appears to be slightly relieved at his response. When Fehime leaves them alone, Tariq picks up his jacket, takes Banu’s phone and pulls out the key from the door when Banu starts asking where he’s going. Tariq orders her to rest well tonight because tomorrow she will be free to go wherever she wants, but he warns her to stay in the room tonight. He exits the room and locks her in it.

Tariq goes to the living room and tells Hussein that he’s going out for a walk. He warns that Banu will be resting so he doesn’t want anyone to bother her. Outside the home, Tariq takes a photo of the microchip, then wraps it in a napkin and places it under a flowerpot. He heads out the gates when one of Emir’s minions comes out from the corner and starts tailing him.

Leyla drives Nihan’s white car up to the Kozcouglu checkpoint gate. Tufan stands there with the guards, so she tells him that if he really wants to check her car he can go ahead- she tries distracting him by confessing that she’s going to visit Ayhan AKA the man she recently conspired with to embezzle Kozcouglu Holding. Tufan remains silent and decides not to bother with her car at all but as Leyla drives out, he whistles at a minion to follow her.

Vildan remains worried in her room.

Tariq arrives at Zehir’s lair and immediately hands over his phone so that Zehir can look at the photos of the microchip. Zehir laughs and says he can’t believe that they’re playing a game of spies, then asks who’s the mole. Tariq weakly says it’s Banu. Zehir can’t believe it, so Tariq asks him to focus on the task at hand, sits down next to him and says that he was followed to the lair by Emir’s men so they need to come up with an excuse for why he came here in the first place. Zehir remarks he has no idea how to help out Kemal, but Tariq says that it’s precisely Kemal who would have the answer for them. They call him.

Kemal is in the living room and answers the phone. Zehir tells him that they’ve finally found the mole and it’s Banu. Kemal makes a face that indicates he doesn’t seem to believe it either. Zehir reports that the Soydere parents were being traced by a microchip that Banu put into Fehime’s purse. Kemal asks where the microchip is now, and Zehir says that it’s still at the Soydere’s. Kemal asks to be put on speaker so that Tariq can also hear him say “We will use this chip to our advantage.”

Leyla arrives at Ayhan’s warehouse, and immediately rushes to open the back and let Nihan come out. At that point, Nihan tells Ayhan that he needs to take her to Kemal. Ayhan doesn’t like her idea and says that this is the worst possible thing to do right now, but Nihan begs him and says that Kemal knows she’s coming tonight anyway. Ayhan asks about Emir, to which Leyla replies that the alien is sound asleep for the rest of the night. Ayhan smiles and says that that was the best idea they’ve come up with so far, then calls Salabas and asks him to escort Nihan to the back while he (Ayhan) calls a taxi for a different minion so that they can distract Emir’s spy in the process. As he’s loudly barking out the rest of the order, Leyla takes the opportunity to remind Nihan that she shouldn’t fight with Kemal, because this is Kemal’s moment to finally feel like a father. Nihan comments that it’s precisely that detail what makes the situation worse. Soon Ayhan is heard ordering Salabas to wait til the taxi is gone before he and Nihan take the car out to Kemal’s hideout. He sends them off, and Leyla says she’ll be waiting for her to return. When the two of them are gone, Leyla expresses her worry about the whole situation, asking when they will have peace. Ayhan assures her everything will be ok.

Deniz is awake and Kemal is holding her, telling her the story of a beautiful princess who loved her father just as much as he loved her back. At that moment, Nihan texts Kemal to alert him that she’s on her way to see him and Deniz, and not to worry about anything because she’s made sure to take precautions. Kemal texts back “Be careful. I know your reasons for wanting to come and I can’t stop you.” He happily tells Deniz that her mother is on her way, and that soon the three of them will be together. He makes her hop several times and then brings the baby downstairs, noticing that she placed her eyes on a bowl of fresh strawberries. Asking if she wants one, he picks one up and lets her eat it.

At the warehouse, Ayhan tells Leyla that she’s his prisoner until Nihan comes back. Leyla tells him to stop dreaming, and Ayhan comments that she must have come to see his pretty face then. Leyla stares at him and remains quiet for a while, eventually remarking that she feels happy whenever she is at his side. Ayhan comments that while he’s spent half of his life in prison, the other half was in cold places, but now that he’s found her he feels different. Another silent pause, until Ayhan says “You are the only thing I want in this life, Cleopatra.” He fiddles with a strange tea pot looking thing on the table, and confesses “I’ll always love you” without looking at her. Leyla doesn’t say anything and Ayhan tries to change the topic by asking if they should drink tea or coffee. Leyla asks him not to leave. Ayhan decides that he won’t, because it’ll make him a coward. Leyla short laughs.

Vildan, wearing white heels, checks up on the sleeping alien. She notices the empty medicine bottle on the nightstand and sneaks out of the room.

Salabas drives to the destination with Nihan. Upon arrival, Nihan rushes up the porch as Kemal opens the door. She hugs him, calling him “Mi amor,” then heads straight for the living room and finds Deniz. Kemal follows her, but only after acknowledging Salabas in the street shadows. Nihan picks up Deniz and kisses her, asking herself how she can live without her daughter. Kemal reminds her that she’ll have to. Nihan asks him not to say that, then gets worried, trying to think of a way to tell him that she wants to call off the whole thing.

Asu is in her car and calls Emir. The phone rings but goes unanswered. “I think that means I’m welcome,” she says. (Seems like she’s going to enter the mansion and visit Mujan).

Nihan kisses Deniz as she soundly sleeps in the center of the bed. When Nihan grabs her little hand, she notices redness and asks Kemal about the rash. Kemal says that Deniz might have scratched herself. Nihan then comments that it feels like the baby might have a fever. Kemal tells her that’s impossible; she’s just finding excuses to say that he doesn’t know how to take care of his daughter. Nihan laughs and says that it’s not what he thinks. Kemal comments that it’ll be hard for him to give up on Deniz because he loves her too much and she’s the only one he thinks about all the time now. Nihan asks “what about me? You don’t think about me?” Kemal grabs her hand and kisses it, saying that she’s the love of his life, of course he loves her too. But he acknowledges that what he feels for Deniz is different, because she is the fruit of their love. He reports that he told Deniz today about how he feels whenever he looks at her mother’s eyes, then says that perhaps Deniz witnessed it all from heaven. Nihan says that when she was pregnant she was always telling Deniz that Kemal was the love of her life and that she lives in him forever. Kemal smiles and says “Deniz is our future, she’s so beautiful, she’s my light. Just look at her.” They both look at a sleeping Deniz. Nihan smiles but then looks away. Kemal notices something is bothering her and asks if she’s afraid. Nihan says that they shouldn’t talk about it here because they’ll ruin Deniz’ sleep.

Nihan leads Kemal as they go downstairs to the living room. She tells him that the plan has failed. Kemal says that he’ll come up with a plan B. Nihan says that it doesn’t matter if he has a plan B because he’s a fugitive wanted for kidnapping a child. Kemal asks her if she’s really giving up so soon, and Nihan replies they cannot leave Deniz with his parents anymore. Kemal brushes it off as nonsense: the plan remains that his parents will take Deniz, they will disappear for a while and in the meantime he and Nihan will finish off Emir. Nihan tries to convince him that the plan is too risky because the focal point are his parents. Kemal says “That’s true, but that’s exactly why we will continue on with the plan.” Nihan isn’t getting convinced.

I don’t like their plan. It’s not feasible, and how does Kemal plan to defeat Emir behind bars? I think that regardless of him being the father, he can still be charged with kidnapping. And how the heck are Hussein and Fehime supposed to disappear for a while? I have no faith in those two either. I trust Leyla more.

I felt bad for Tariq. I’m not sure if Banu was still acting when she said that she’s loved him all this time. Part of me believes her but analyzing everything else she’s done I don’t think she does. She doesn’t seem to have much emotion for him other than sympathy.

I’m worried Asu will see her mother and in the process discover that Nihan left the premises undetected. Although at this point does it matter? It seems like they’re all openly acting against each other now. It doesn’t matter how many precautions Nihan takes: she shouldn’t have gone to see Kemal and Deniz. Also, I was so bothered by how loud they were all talking in the warehouse. I keep expecting the spy to catch what they were saying, or to catch that there was a second woman at the warehouse. And the warehouse is kind of open-spaced so technically anyone can kind of see what’s going on.

Kemal’s phone call to Ayhan made it seem like he’s been with Deniz for several days, but Nihan hasn’t updated her sweater or hairstyle so... maybe I misunderstood? Or that’s her way of showing she’s worried sick? Which she is now, but for the wrong reasons? I guess deep down she’s worried Kemal is stringing her along while finding a way to take off with Deniz and not be found ever again. Now we’re back to her not being able to trust Kemal...

I was really surprised tha Tarik gave up Banu to Zehir; I thought he didn't want Kemal to know about her...or did he not want to tell Kemal until he had evidence? I too felt sorry for Tarik for a few seconds...until I remembered all the backstabbing he did on Kemal. I don't think Banu loves him either; she is just afraid of losing all that money that Emir is giving her to be a rat and she will lose all connection with Emir too.

I'm not a fan of the idea that Huseyin and Fehime will take care of Deniz, but who else can Kemal turn to? IMO, asking Leyla to care for Deniz would give way to more suspicion toward Nihan and Vildan (whom I also noticed was wearing white heels and I don't know why they would focus on those). I had a thought but laughed it off..what about Zeynep caring for Deniz? She already cared for her once...but NO, just NO!

I too was confused by Kemal's phone call to Ayhan. Isn't it still the same day that Kemal took Deniz?

I agree with Nihan that Kemel's plan has been compromised but he deserves a chance to work on a plan b though I was never a fan of getting his clueless parents involved and thinks he should abandon that idea. They apparently never told Kemel that Banu overheard their conversation. Don't know where Kemel got is brains or common sense from but he's the only one with it in that family and it didn't come from the parents.


But it seems everyone on team Kemel is willing to take a risk despite the potential wrath of Emir and their knowledge of his evil ways. I believe when Vildan went into the room, she switched out the pill bottles. I think Nihan had Eda to purchase a stronger narcotic that Emir took for his pain pills and Vildan switched it back to the regular pain pills when she was sure he wasn't awake. A really big risk for her. And every breath Leyla takes around Emir is a risk because he does not like or trust her since she has conspired with Kemel from the start. But I am liking the evolution of her relationship with Ayan. I think they will have a happy ending but not so sure about our prime couple. Especially since Nihan continues show weakness and lack of trust in Kemel.

If I were Nihan, having lived the hell she has for the past 7yrs or so,I would rather Kemel take Deniz and give her a loving life, free of threats, control and corruption vs let her grow up on Emir's obsessive evilness. Not saying as a mother it would be easy to digest the idea of loosing your kid but Kemel is more likely to raise her well and find a way back to Nihan vs Emir becoming an unselfish, better human being. But hey...

Tarik is still not to be trusted. He is trying to find Kemel for Asu but poor Zehir nor Kemel realizes that and have no reason to suspect it since Tarik gave up Banu. Seems Kemel's siblings will continue to be his demise one way or the other. I don't believe Banu ever felt anything for Tarik. Often times she looks like she can't stand his presence let alone want him. The first time I thought she could have had feelings for him was when he helped her through the abortion ordeal but when she married him for money that sealed it. She's just another snake out to get what she can get.

y all were talkin about the time span between when Kemal took Deniz and the next 2 days. Ive learned That down through the years soaps/tns can stretch time like nobody's business. That means they need a shower cuz those clothes are Ripe about now.
