Episode 182 – Part 1

Tarik returns home and wants to speak with his parents outside. While he waits for them he takes he opportunity to retrieve the tracker from under the planter. When they arrive concerned about what’s going on, he informs them that Kemel's plan still involves them and they will take charge of Deniz tomorrow.

Asu drives up to the K mansion and asks Tufan if there’s been any notice and he informs her no and inquires how she’s doing. He assumes that Emir is resting and Asu corrects him that if he knew Emir, he’d know that Emir is not resting with Deniz missing. Tufan allows her to enter.

Nihan is still with Kemel but she’s not at peace with things, he can tell she’s sad, she confirms his suspicions “ how can she stand this” she worries. It’s not that she doesn’t trust his mom to care for Deniz but it will kill her to part from her daughter. Kemel tries to reason with her that there’s no other option if they don’t want her near Emir who is not above really kidnapping her. He tells her they need to stay the course and he’ll get them out of this. She eventually vows she’s always with him. He tells her she should go and get some rest, tomorrow will be a tough day. As Nihan is saying her goodbye to Deniz she notices the rash appears bigger on her face. She questions whether or not he gave her everything on the list and says yes, recounting what he fed her including the strawberries. This alarms Nihan and she tells him that strawberries can cause an allergic reaction in children under the age of 1 and they rush to get her to the hospital.

Asu is inside the mansion and calls out to Emir who doesn’t answer. She enters his room and still gets no response so she decides to sneak into Nihan’s adjoining room. Before she can turn the door handle, Vildan enters and asks if she can help her with anything. Asu lies that she was looking for the bathroom since Emir was asleep. Vildan indicates that both Emir and Nihan are fast asleep she then asks Asu if there’s been any word regarding Kemel. Asu takes off to see her mom.

At the hospital having confirmed the allergic reaction in Deniz, Kemel blames himself but Nihan takes responsibility for having not mentioned the possibility. The doctor attending to Deniz asks for their ID and they explain that they ran from their house without thinking about ID out of their concern for Deniz. He appears to buy this explanation but Kemel sends Nihan and Deniz to the car. He then tries to handle the doctor, telling him he’ll bring the ID by tomorrow but ask for help with the prescription. The doctor asks if they live nearby and Kemel says only minutes away.

Later, the doctor is at the admin desk and inquires about an earlier amber alert associated with Deniz, apparently recognizing her and being suspicious of the couple. Kemel is in the car and confesses they could have been compromised and this causes Nihan to fret yet again. Kemel keeps his calm and tells her it will be OK and they need to get her home.

Asu is with her mom who appears to be able to speak more. Asu talks to her telling her she never dreamed she’d be at her side and here they are. Mujan is able to mutter “hija” and Asu “mama”. Mujan has her to come closer and a mutual love fest ensues (because Mujan doesn’t know the apple fell from Galip's tree and not hers) as Asu plants numerous kisses on Mujan's face and embraces her.

Leyla pulls up to the K mansion and later Nihan is in her room holding the toy rabbit, speaking to it again as if it’s Deniz, apologizing for all she’s been put through. But it’s necessary so they can live in peace, she says. She flashes back to saying her goodbye to Deniz. She parted from Kemel telling him to fix the world so they never have to separate again.

Episode 182 – Part 2

Hakan's at the hospital having received the amber alert. After getting the facts from the doctor, he tells his men to hurry with their search because Kemel is nearby. Various scenes with Fehime and Hussein praying. Tarik confirming the house is still being watched and returning the tracker to his mom’s purse. He unlocks his bedroom door and Banu is on the bed and they glare at each other. The police find the hideout, enter, search but find nothing. Kemel is already on the road.

The next morning an anxious Nihan calls Kemel to confirm all is OK and Deniz has been fed. She states that Deniz is a hearty eater and is strong and not fragile like her. Kemel disagrees and pokes fun at this statement. They also discuss the plan. Kemel tells her not to worry and we see at this moment, Tarik seeing his parents off in a taxi with God’s blessing. He then unlocks the bedroom door and with an aggressive attitude returns Banu’s phone and tells her it’s now her turn to do her part whether she wants to or not. In the taxi we see the driver is on team Kemel and he tells them not to worry but they all know that they are being followed.

Tufan knocks on Emir’s door and having not gotten an answer enters and finds Emir is still asleep. He’s about to wake him when Nihan enters asking what’s going on. Tufan states it’s unusual for Emir to sleep this late so Nihan goes about the task of waking him. Emir awakens and muses that he took too many of his pain pills last night and asks for an update. Tufan gives him the run down on the amber alert and a confident Emir is certain that they are about to catch Kemel. When he learns from Hakan that Kemel escaped again he questions the police expertise and asks how many times can he escape.

He then calls Banu who is forced to answer the phone. He inquires about her in-laws but she doesn’t know anything because of Tarik’s presence. She then pretends to go out of the room and then confirms that they are gone and Fehime’s purse is gone as well. Knowing the tracker is on his side a smug Emir calls Hakan and tells him he’s about to trap Kemel and his parents.

The taxi driver picks up speed in an effort to lose the car following him. A timely animal crossing allows him to lose his pursuers giving him time to pull up behind another taxi that is being driven by Zehir. Fehime and Hussein switch taxis and another couple takes their place.

Emir is leaving when Nihan inquires what’s up, and wants to go with him when he states he’s going to get Deniz. He tells her he doesn’t think she can handle the tragedy that’s about to take place and she tells him not to leave her. Hakan and Emir communicate and we see the police stop the original taxi driver and the decoy exits with ID and questions. Emir is still smug and when Nihan asks why he’s smiling, he responds soon we will be with our daughter.

Kemel is waiting on the side of the road talking at Deniz when Zehir arrives in the taxi with his parents. The excited grandparents go to the car for Deniz. Kemel barely states “she is my daughter” when Emir having arrived with his calvary yells out “she is not your daughter Mr. Kemel”. Kemel’s shock turns to anger and then rage. Nihan is witnessing her worst nightmare-both men going at it over Deniz. Both take turns saying she’s my daughter…she’s not your daughter. Kemel eventually grabs Emir by the collar but can’t do much because the police intervene. Emir flashes back to his recent conversations with both snakes in his corner, Asu and Banu. With Asu, he vowed he would trust her completely if she helped him find Kemel and they discuss using Tarik. With Banu we see he gave her orders on keeping tabs with everyone and to purposely get caught with the tracker to get Tarik to turn on her. (Banu initially protested that this would end her marriage to which Emir stated it would end anyway). We also see that there were 2 cars trailing the taxi carrying the grand parents.

Episode 182 – Part 3

As Kemel is arrested his parents are distraught and Fehime stands up against Emir, who then turns to Hakan and asks why he’s not arresting Kemel’s accomplices. This angers Kemel even more and he tells them to leave his parents out of it, they’re innocent. Hakan tells the parents that he does need to get their statements. As Kemel is being hauled away his nightmare continues as he sees Emir holding and kissing Deniz, eveb depriving her mother of holding her.

A distraught Kemel is screaming “Deniz” “hija” in pain and in vain as he’s in police custody. Kemel’s torture continues because at one point it appears that Deniz uttered “papa” to Emir, who takes her to the car while a frightened Nihan trails closely and listens as Emir tells Deniz “your father will always be with you”.

Kemel is being questioned at the police station and continues to state Deniz is his daughter. Hakan does not dispute the paternity issue but tells Kemel he’s in a lot of trouble. Kemel continues with “she’s my daughter”. Hakan tells him the law is the law and Emir is her custodian by law. In another location, Galip is with Nihan chiding her for wanting to meet with him without Emir’s knowledge. She flatly tells him that Kemel is the true father of Deniz. He's left shocked and speachless with this revelation. In another interrogation room, Emir is spewing his web pointing out that not only did Kemel kidnap his daughter he tried to kill him.

Team Kemel is at the station as well and Leyla is very worried. Ayan tells her to think positive and they should use their energy on getting Kemel out of this mess as soon as possible. Asu arrives and Leyla takes notice of her presence and the complexity of the situation since she is not only Kemel’s wife but Emir’s sister.

Outside the station, an optimistic Tufan greets Asu with her coffee just as she likes. He talks a little too much assuming that Kemel will not get out of this situation because he took Emir’s daughter to which Asu points out they both are Deniz’s fathers. Tufan spits out a veiled threat, reminding her she’s got dirt on her hands and her luck is running out. She takes notice of the threat and he replies he was just trying to point out her stupid obsession with Kemel. She walks away from him.

Wow. Kemel lost this round of cat and mouse in a big way. I missed some of the conversation about the tracker. I know tht Kemel, Tarik and Zehir agreed to use the tracker to their advantage. Is it possible that they disengaged the tracker that Banu planted the second time around so the the true reason Kemel was caught is because of the 2nd car trailing the taxi. I missed details of the conversation between Kemel and Asu when they set up Tarik so help if I missed an important detail let me know. Tarik is stupid and naive and has traded the bully Emir for the manipulator Asu. I don't know if he will even realize he was part of the set up.

I'm sure Fehime and Hussein will get out of this but how will Kemel. I assume Nihan told Galip so she can get his help but how could he help. He hates Kemel and has very little clout with Emir. Anyway, Kemel does not deserve to go to jail (because of the entire ludicrous situation) but the law is the law. He needs a really good lawyer. I assume that once again Nihan will sacrifice her freedom or her company stock to save Kemel. And when she does this ...on what planet does Emir come from if he doesn't see her ultimate sacrifice as her unwavering love for Kemel. And he will still want her by his side. Pathetic. Like Asu fighting for Kemel, pathetic. They both profess their love but have never heard of he saying "if you truly love something you have to be willing to let it go". Emir thinks that Deniz will teach him how to love....well...they ain't happening anytime soon. She's just another pawn who had the misfortune of being born in his orbit.

OMGosh I knew it was too good to be true that Kemal was going to keep Deniz away from Emir, but I did not expect it to happen so soon. Wow, these writers are stupendous!

In regards to the tracker, Tarik put the same tracker he found into Fehime's wallet; and there was no second tracker.. When they switched taxis, the purse was taken by the other woman who was dressed like Fehime. Emir had two sets of men following the taxi. One pair saw the switch and followed the taxi that took Fehime and Huseyin to kemal. As they drove, Emir told the minion that he'd better not lose the taxi or he could start thinking about his death.

I have no idea how Kemal will get out of this. Nihan's visit to Galip was an interesting twist. She must have some plan to get him to help Kemal, but I am clueless as to how he would help since he has no influence over Emir.

Emir knows very well that Nihan hates him. He has known it for quite a while and reading the journal was the last nail to go in that coffin. But Emir doesn't care what Nihan wants; he only cares about what he wants and he wants his precious prize (Nihan). He also wants Deniz whom he regards his only hope for getting any love and feeling love. Hearing her utter "pa" was clearly torture for Kemal, but Emir was proudly gloating. And yes, Nett, Deniz is only a "pawn who had the misfortune of being born in his orbit." Que triste!

I had a feeling his plan wouldn’t work, but I didn’t think it would end up like this. Then Deniz calling Emir dad was the ultimate blow. I saw the Turkish version of this episode yesterday too, and Deniz does clearly say the word “Babba.” For some reason in Spanish it didn’t sound obvious.

Regarding Emir’s plan, he used Asu to let Tariq discover that Banu is the snake. Banu was told to let herself get caught by Tariq, in exchange Emir would pay her enough money to live on her own and never work again. So Tariq discovers the tracker, and Kemal’s plan was to keep the tracker in Fehime’s purse, but she was to leave that purse in the taxi when the stand-ins replace her and Hussein. A second car was trailing them the entire time, so when the Soydere’s switch cars, the other set followed them while the original spies kept following the tracked car. Kemal was confident that they lost Emir’s spies because the tracked car was still being followed and the police arrested those people.

It was just too risky. They were overconfident in the idea of losing the spy car and having enough time to switch cars unseen. That was unrealistic. And I still didn’t like that the Soyderes were going to raise Deniz and keep themselves hidden. They’re just not smart enough.

I wonder if Kemal will realize the details of the trap. How will he get out of this one? Kidnapping is still kidnapping, even if he had Nihan’s consent...I think if she says she agreed to it, she can be taken in too. She probably is going to sacrifice her shares to Galip or Emir.

Poor Deniz being stuck in a tug of war between them all is kind of sickening. I think they’re missing the point: Deniz is safe with Emir. He loves her enough not to do anything to her or Nihan. They should have put their energy on getting rid of Emir instead, because no matter what they do, if he’s still out free he’ll end up keeping one or the other as a pawn. It seems like Kemal was blinded not only by his fatherly love for Deniz, but really by his jealousy that Deniz could love Emir as her father. Nihan also exhibits jealousy when she sees Emir bonding with Deniz- I don’t think she’s acting out of trying to keep Deniz safe from him. She uses that as her excuse to keep her away from him, but think about it- Deniz is safer being loved by Emir than being treated with indifference.

Nina, I too sometimes think that Nihan doesn’t really want to leave the alien. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it seems like being a constant victim is her identity...why else does she always sabotage herself and Kemal? She’s a liability in everything he plans. She’s lived in so much drama and agony for the past seven years, she probably doesn’t even remember what it’s like to live without it. The first season, her excuse to not leave was Ozan. This season, her excuse to not leave is that she needs to avenge her brother’s death. Why can’t she try to do that while being away from Emir?Sometimes I feel like the brother storyline is so overdone...Maybe she subconsciously gets a kick out of being the center of two men’s attention. I’ve noticed that when she’s the one to give up on her relationship with Kemal, she cohabitates with Emir without much problem (like the first five years). Yet, when it’s Kemal who gives up on her and decides to move on with his life, she gets lovesick and starts chasing him to get him back.

Episode 183 – Part 1

Nihan continues her conversation with Galip asking him for her help to free Kemel. As expected she offers her shares of the company in exchange for his help, indicating she will return them after she is divorced from Emir. Threats come natural to the K family so he threatens to call Emir right that moment and disclose her offer. For the moment (it doesn’t typically last), Nihan is emboldened. She doesn’t care…she’s lived in Emirs shadow for years and she no longer has fear so Galip abandons the threat of calling him. Galip does tell her what’s she’s asking is impossible. For one, his relationship with Emir is delicate right now and secondly it’s about the relationship between Deniz and Kemel but she presses him that he can help, he has power and Emir is his son. She continues pointing out she knows how important his son and his empire is to him. He has her attention and finds her offer tempting but doesn’t want to go against his son given the current state of their relationship.

He points out that the heart of the matter is the identification of Deniz and Emir is her documented father. Galip is really pondering helping her as he assumes when all of this is over he will be the only winner in this war and is pumped up with self righteousness as he lectures her. But he cautions her to keep this conversation between the 2 of them.

As she’s leaving, he receives a call that she overhears. She realizes that he’s being informed about someone by the name of Ediler who may have changed their last name. This triggers a memory for Nihan regarding a conversation between her and Kemel when he told her told her about a deposit that Emir made for someone the day of Ozan’s murder after recieving a visit. She remembers the day that she, Emir and Kemel all went looking for the person who was not where to be found. Kemel taunted Emir that perhaps the person had relocated. Nihan realizes she has to inform Kemel regarding the phone call.

Still being interrogated at the station, Kemel makes it clear to Hakan that he planned everything and his parents had nothing to do with it. Hakan tells him him not to worry about his parents, they have a lawyer he instead needs to think about himself and retain a lawyer. Kemel declines saying he will represent himself in front of the judge and Hakan leaves him to be taken into custody. And of course, we see Emir is already in front of the judge pleading his case as a victim and sealing it with a veiled bribe and threat. The judge looks concerned and helpless as Emir walks away. Meanwhile, team Kemel is in the lobby when his parents learn from their lawyer and Ayan that they are free. They are relieved for their situation and turn their attention to Kemel. Fehime is about to spin out of control with anger for Emir has done but Ayan tells her to calm down and Tarik tries to comfort her. Asu watches and listens from afar. Zehir and Sehra exit the station while she tries to convince him that she can represent Kemel. Zehir doesn’t looked too convinced but comes around when she reminds him of how much info she has against Emir. Meanwhile Nihan is driving and talking to her mom who cautions her against visiting Kemel but Nihan has to see him and tell him what she overheard.

Episode 183 – Part 2

Kemel is in his cell when Emir comes up whistling and of course to taunt him. Kemel tells him to enjoy this victory and remember it for now but it won’t last and he won’t be able to keep him from his daughter. A confident Emir tells Kemel he wants to refresh his memory. He then plays a recording of him talking to Deniz and she calls him pap. Kemel tells him to shut off the recording but it continues. Emir states that Deniz chose him. This infuriates Kemel and he calls Emir physcopath. Emir continues to taunt him that he and Deniz will grow closer the more Kemel tries to get rid of him. Kemel pushes yells back that Deniz is his daughter and he will not let her stay with him. Emir states loudly for others to hear that once again Kemel is threatening him. He then continues to taunt Kemel that he let him fight and win regarding Nihan when he did win but now Emir’s interest is in Deniz. Emir walks away with Kemel shouting that he will kill him if he harms his daughter.

Sehra comes to Kemel and pitches her bid to represent him and of course he questions why he would trust her. She confesses that Emir blinded her against him and she wants to make amends for all that she did against him. Besides Zehir is worried about Kemel and she is worried about Zehir. She convinces him that she knows many things about Emir and Kemel perks up. She tells him that she can get him out of jail with the DNA info. He thinks it over but he doesn’t want Nihan to suffer. She doesn’t think so and has an ideal that involves the press. He thinks it over.

As Emir is leaving the station, Hakan follows him out and tells him he should not have gone to see Kemel and he only did it to provoke him. Emir smugly tells him the director didn’t think so and he goes on to tell Hakan that he’s boring and no one can live under the same room as him. Hakan pushes back that soon his brother will return to him. Emir taunts, when, cause no one has gotten his permission for that. Hakan speculates he's jealous because of Zenep. Emir tells him she would be on the street if he didn’t share his house with her. Just then, Zenep walks up and Emir quips that Hakan used telepathy to call her. He then turns his taunting toward her presence asking who she’s there to support going through her many options. Hakan tells her not to take the bait then Emir rubs her hair and asks if she’s changed it. Emir taunts her some more and Hakan’s had enough and grabs Emir by the collar as Zenep tries to stop them from fighting saying Emir is not worth is. Just then Fehime and Tarik exit the station and observe the two men struggling. Fehime runs up to damn Emir, who spits out a few more things and then leaves with Zenep looking behind him. Not sure if her look is one of fear or veiled admiration.

As Emir is driving away, Nihan is driving up and he stops and has makes her get out of her car, asking why she’s there. He reminds her she is his wife and she tells him it never was and will never be and he says that’s her fault. She pushes back that she’s not leaving because Deniz is Kemel’s daughter. She confesses it was her who hid that fact and Emir who took Deniz from Kemel. She tells him the least he can do is to drop the charges against Kemel and if he doesn’t, she will confess that she was in on the kidnapping. He starts to dare her to do this and she pushes back "what are you going to do..threaten me”. He starts to threaten her and she stops him citing herself the things he could use against her including Deniz or revealing that she and Kemel were lovers. Emir isn't moved because he believes he still has the upper hand regarding the law. He will not allow her to separate him from her or Deniz and the family they have and will they continue on this way till the day Nihan loves him and with that he leaves.

Episode 183 – Part

In front of the station Tarik confronts Zenep about living with Hakan so she confesses she’s only there because he has evidence regarding Ozan’s murder in his apartment. Inside the station, team Kemel approaches Zehra regarding her representing Kemel. They were all in doubt that he would accept her and are surprised when she provides a document indicating he did just that. Back in his cell, Kemel is thinking of his time with Deniz vowing to reunite with her even if he has to destroy the world to do it. She is not his past but his future.

Zenep is sitting with her mom in the waiting area trying to calm her. She swears she did everything she could to help Kemel. Fehime tells her to stay away from the devil Emir and she replies she is not with him and doing everything she promised her mother she would do. Fehime tells her not to do it for her but to do it for her own good. Zenep then pretends she has stomach pain probably because she hasn’t eaten and has been worried so Fehime sends her to something but just then Nihan arrives to visit Kemel. Hakan states he can’t allow the visit but Fehime asks him to allow it so Kemel can smile for a moment. He looks over at Zenep who signals it’s OK and he allows her 5 minutes and takes her back to see Kemel. Before she leaves, she and Fehime have a nice exchange showing they accept and support each other and that Deniz is fine being looked after by Vildan.

Nihan is outside of Kemel’s cell asking if he’s OK and he says his dream has turned into a nightmare. He’s sounds hopeless and she begs him not to give up, he’s been her inspiration. He walks over and says they only have one road, they have to fight together. She says she’s always been with him. Kemel says no, its not true. And to look and the distance and walls between them now. She continues to try to inspire him with Deniz but he thinks back to when he witnessed Deniz calling Emir papa. She tells him not to think about that but he heard it himself and it’s killing him. Deniz is not with him. Nihan tells him really soon he will be free and back with her. Kemel goes on about the waiting for Deniz to call him dad and it broke his heart to hear her call another man papa. Emir took his daughter. Nihan says that very soon they will be together but Kemel can’t wait he wants to be with his daughter and he wants to love her as his wife. He then tells her about the paternity notice that’s coming which cause her to panic. He pulls her close and tells her he can’t wait and he needs her at his side and she calms down stating she’s with him. He tells her they will win this if they work together and she declares he’s her hero.

Zehra and Zehir are leaving, excited that they have a way to help Kemel. Hakan come comes to tell Nihan the visit is over and she begs for 2 more minutes. She then tells him that Galip is looking for Ediler so he warns her not to mettle in this. They both realize the significance of this and Kemel is confident they will prevail on this front as well. Before she departs she gives Kemel Deniz’ mitten to hold on to.

The next day at the station, Zehra escorts Kemel out of the station and team Kemel greets him with a smiling Asu looking on from a distance. He calls Nihan so she can hear him thanking everyone for their support. They all cheer Zehra for her accomplishment in getting him released for now. An excited Nihan tells Deniz she saved her father and now it’s the parents turn to save Deniz. Team Kemel is pondering how Emir is taking the news and we see he is in his office, angry and berating his team having learned about the proof of paternity request at the last minute. He’s even more enraged when he finds out Zehra is Kemel’s attorney. He throws the team out of his office.

Episode 183 - Part4

Asu slithers over to talk to Kemel but he doesn’t have time for her. He confirms that Deniz is his daughter and leaves her because he’s got things to do.

While talking to his team he notices Zenep looking on from a distance and he sends his parents ahead to their home and Asu leaves. He stays back to speak with Ayan and Zehir. Ayan teases him about his luck and they get down to business. Kemel knows they cannot leave his fate in the hands of the judge. Kemel has waited 2 years and he doesn’t want to wait another day so Ayan inquires about his plan. The first thing he wants to do is re-open Ozans case and he’s sure that will lead to Emir being placed behind bars. While Emir is dealing with this, he still has planned that he and his family can escape with Deniz.

Zenep is walking away when Kemel stops her. She’s glad that he’s free so he asks how she knew about the police and she says Hakan told her. He tries to confirm that Hakan did this for him and she deflects saying that Hakan is only with Emir because of threats. Kemel tries to get more details and she deflects again saying she wants the same thing that Kemel wants and that’s for Emir to go down. He questions her alliances and she tells him to think what you want. He remembers her lies but she goes on with her sales job of turning over a new leaf and wanting to be part of the family again.

in her room, Nihan calls Ebsane. She’s searching for a necklace her father gave her years ago and Ebsane doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Nihan then goes to Ebane’s room to search for it while Ebsane looks on professing her innocence. Ebsane is shocked with Nihan finds the necklace and calls the police to turn her in. Ebsane continues on that she’s innocent but we see in a flash back to when Nihan planted the necklace. It was a ploy to force Ebsane to confess she’s been working for Emir including hiding the conversation Emir had the day of Ozans death. Ebsane eventually confesses that she's been hiding things but she didn’t mean to do anything bad on purpose. Nihan forces her to admit that she overhead Emir on the phone the day of Ozan’s murder. As Nihan continues with the charade of denouncing Ebsane she finally confesses that that day she heard Emir tell someone on the phone to “terminate him”.

Meanwhile Emir is throwing his useless team out of his office when Galip enters and takes a seat. Emir wants to know what he’s come to tell him with “that stupid smile on your face”. Galip says I know you’re not Deniz's father and Emir sarcastically states “how intelligent”.

Emir receives a phone call from Asu that Kemel just left the court but she doesn’t know how and she then asks him about Nihan. Emir then calls Ebsane to inquire about Nihan and finds out that she just left. He notices that she’s crying but Ebsane lies that she’s a little sick. Emir then calls out for Tufan and tells him to tack Nihan’s car. He tells him he has to take the best photographs of his life of Nihan and Kemel.

Pretty interesting epi. I am not convinced nihan can stay the course. She has been too inconsistent and easily falls prey to emirs bullying. If she had been more upfront from the beginning kemel would have known what he was fighting for and against. Im not convinced emir wont find something else to hold over her head that she keeps from kemel. Kemel himself realizes a dead emir is the only way to rid themselves of him but he is not a murderer and is trying to use the law to get rid of him. Unfortunately kemel continues to allow the snake asu to breath the same air as him so she is going to come up with something to help herself and emir. Unfortunately she has kemel convinced she and emir are enemies.

I too think the ozan vengeance thing has been overkill regarding nihan but it keeps the plot going i guess. Tarik and zep need to be found out though. I wonder how that factors into things when its revealed. Hakan is interesting. He knows zep was there so i guess he is ok living with a liar and possibly a murderer as long as she takes care of his domestic needs and maybe more...but he did say he likes her.

Hello! And Happy Easter!

Judging by the episode’s ending, Emir is going to try and get custody of Deniz with the photos of Nihan and Kemal to paint the picture that she’s an unfaithful wife and he had no idea Deniz wasn’t his kid...

Is Zeynep really gonna end up pregnant? That scene with Fehime was suspicious...Also, I don’t understand what attracts Hakan to Zeynep. She’s a murder suspect and Emir’s toy, a clear pathological liar. Gross...

For Nihan and Vildan, no one is more important than Ozan. Poor Onder has basically been thrown under the rug as an add on...they don’t cry over him like with Ozan (they don’t cry for him at all really). I feel more sorry for Onder though- he was more of a victim than his son. Ozan was such a babied manchild I think that’s why I just can’t bring myself to feel sorry for him. He dug his own grave and he was just completely unappealing on his own.

Kemal knows that Emir and Asu work together, afterall she handed the flash drive of Kemal’s fraud scheme. What makes him think that Asu is harmless?

I don’t trust Nihan either. Kemal should just realize he’s really on his own and shouldn’t involve her in anything anymore.

Nett, thank you for the recap. Watching the episode had my beanie popping off; so I spent most of my time trying to keep it on. Reading your recap was much more enjoyable :)

Someone (AnonFri, I think)) had just mentioned how Nihan "changes her course" based on how Kemal is feeling. Well, she's back to encouraging him not to give up after she had just tried to talk him out of continuing his plan (before he got arrested). Maybe she's bipolar??? or something! Anywho, Emir's cluelessness about Zehra being Kemal's attorney and getting another DNA test was totally unchacterlike (IMO). Where was Tufan and all the men that were keeping tabs on Kemal and anyone associated with him? Emir had just told Kemal that he knew him better than Kemal knew Emir, so how is it that Emir didn;t know that Kemal would come up with some other plan? BEANIE POPPER!!

Good grief, Zeynep pregnant?? The second she mentioned queasy stomach, that thought popped right out. Geez, a REAL Emir spawn! YUK!

Kemal has no clue about Asu and how dangerous she is. If "snake-in-the-grass" was in a pictionary, her picture would certainly be there. Everyone underestimates her!

RGV, Nihan needs serious mental health. Maybe part of the reason she's so stubborn with Kemal is because he's the only one she can afford to be that way with. Everyone else imposes their expectations of her, and she quietly obliges. Emir, Galip, Vildan, Ozan, Onder...Leyla makes snide comments from time to time and Nihan doesn't defend herself. Yet with Kemal- in the moments when she should just do as she's told- she doesn't! She's a self-sabotager for sure.

IMO, I think it's dumb of Kemal not to realize that Emir and Asu work together, or rather, that he forgot that the siblings conspire with each other. How does Kemal figure out that Emir knew Asu was the missing Kozcouglu for some time, yet didn't do anything to harm her, and then Asu goes and gives Emir incriminating evidence of her fiance? Makes no sense, he's clearly ignoring a detail here. Even Nihan conveniently forgot? Leyla and Ayhan? No way. Also, Asu goes into the lion's den to see her mother. So yeah, those two are working together. Beanie!

Also agree on Emir not keeping tabs on Kemal's movements. Unless of course, Tufan did it for Asu.

If Zeynep is pregnant and Hakan still wants her with Emir's spawn...gross...
