Daytime TNs... Y Mas (#1), Week of January 20, 2025
Welcome to page 1 of Daytime TNs! This page is to give those who are watching daytime TNs on any channel a place to discuss the TNs aired prior to 7Pm. If you would like to contribute a recap of just some highlights for a daytime TN, I’m sure there are those who watch the same TNs that would appreciate it.

El Angel de Aurora #87
Part 1 of 3
Aurora told JC she had been trying to get him to believe her. He said maybe they should live in her family's mansion [I don't see the logic in this]. He apologized and asked her to give him another chance.
Carmela brought out a platter of freshly-baked cookies, Aquiles and Glorio were in said mansion and Demon was objecting. Aquiles deliberately said something to annoy Demon, who then tried to take the cookies away. Helena came downstairs in her robe, looking for Aurora. Demon wanted the guys to leave. Carmela brought coffee. Helena took a cookie from the plate in Demon's hand, then picked up a cup.
JC told Aurora he loved her and did not want to separate. He suggested couples counseling. She looked thoughtful but left the room.
Luis was in Jezabel's room, wanting to know who did this. He talked about him and his father living there and he would take care of her. She did not look like she was listening while looking at the lipstick on the vanity. She flashed back to the night she went to Edgar's abode and Briana was there. She was not listening after all, not picking up on anything Luis was saying. She said to herself “It was she,” which meant nothing to Luis.
Next Morning
Angel and Helena worked on the project in her office.
Evening
Aurora and JC went to a marriage counselor. He said they had a recurring problem. The doctor advised them that there was no one solution and that treatment was unique to each couple.
Days Later
Jezabel's lips looked healed as Briana came to see her. Jezabel threw the lipstick at her feet. Briana denied any responsibility. Jezabel picked it up, opened it, and threatened Briana with it to get her to admit she did this at Teté's request.
Angel and Helena were too close for comfort as Demon approached the office looking at his watch, Angel was trying to get Helena to admit she loved him. He finally moved in for a kiss. [...and why on earth is she wearing a blouse and brooch more suitable for evening?] She reminded him she was married and Angel said “To a man who does not deserve you.”
Briana tried to leave. Jezabel stood in her way. Briana told her she will someday pay for what she has done to others. She told Jezabel there were people more powerful than she.
Helena accused Angel of trading their love for money while Demon will give her a family and not see her as a commodity [Egad, now she's really blind]. She accused him of lying. She said Demo was not a saint but he wasn't a monster, either [We hope she will find out ASAP]

Jezabel tried to tell Briana not to count on Teté or Edgar for help. Briana knew what she was capable of and didn't care if Helena found out about herself and Demon. Jezabel taunted her with the prospect of Aurora finding out. After a brief pause Briana said that this would not compare to the fallout of the revelation about the planned attack on Aurora. Jezabel grabbed her by the arms and uttered a few more threats but Briana got away without visibly panicking.
Demon refused any attempt at reconciliation with Aurora, saying that the family is irretrievably broken. Angel came into the office. He said he had never used Helena against Demon; Helena does not love Demon. The two argued about this in front of Aurora. She prevented the fight that almost happened and ordered Demon out of her office. He left saying that this will ruin her foundation. Angel told Aurora he wanted Helena to admit she loved him and all this resulted from Demon's plan to separate them.
JC talked to Esperanza about the problems with Aurora. He had no faith in psychiatry, saying it was likely they would divorce.
Patricia went to Antonio's place and started to argue with Elvia. She said that she was married to Antonio doe many years so this was her house and shouted like a fishwife to get Antonio to come downstairs. She said she had to move back in. He refused. Of course Patricia tried to plunge the knife in by telling Elvia he was just using her to forget Aurora.
Esperanza was sure the discovery of Angel was taking all of Aurora's attention. JC was sure that Aurora was still in love with Antonio. Esperanza told him to get those ideas out of his head. Finally she told JC to fight for her.
Antonio scolded Patricia for her venom and she apologized. She wanted to talk to Antonio alone. Elvia excused herself, kissed Antonio, and left the room. Patricia told Antonio she needed help; she was afraid to continue to live in the hotel. Other guests had been assaulted. He reminded her he had previously offered to help her find a new place and she had refused.
Angel said it was an impulse and Aurora reminded him that Helena is married. She told him to let Helena come to her own conclusions. He agreed and then they agreed on his name.
Antonio explained to Elvia that Patricia faced being robbed in the hotel. She was looking for safety and no, he was not going to let her move in. He was concerned, though, about Briana being there with her.
Helena and Demon argued again but she asked that they go to Las Flores the next day.
Cassandra and Edgar ate with Teté who wanted him to resign from Campero because Jezabel is dangerous. She was also concerned about Cassandra's safety. Cassandra then mentioned the acid burn, wondering who did that. Teté admitted responsibility for the acid lipstick, saying she would not stand for her hurting people she cared about.
Rolando picked up on Maggie having a thing for Aquiles.
Teté would not say more about the lipstick. She changed the subject, asking Cassandra and Edgar if they were going to get married. Both looked a little uncomfortable with this query.
Angel's buds were at his home when he and Aurora arrived there. He handed Pascual the deed to the house, telling him he thanked God every day that he was his father. Aurora then invited all of them to her place.

Jezabel met Elvia in the bar and complimented her on the job of finding Angel. She indicated she had a job for her. Elvia studied her.
JC went to Esperanza's place and met Pepe who began getting foolish again. Pepe teased him about his name. Antonio arrived. [Why?]
Jezabel tried to hire Elvia to investigate Teté. Elvia asked why. Jezabel tried to deny hurting Aurora.
Antonio told Esperanza he was looking for Aquiles and Glorio. Pepe told Antonio and JC that they were in business together, including Luis. JC watched as Esperanza and Pepe argued like an old married couple.
Jezabel told Elvia that Teté caused her injury. Elvia told her to report this and that she could not help her. Jezabel said that Teté herself had admitted it, blaming her company for her son's attempted suicide. Elvia repeated her suggestion but Jezabel said she couldn't because Teté was dangerous and had no respect for the law. She said she suspected that Teté arranged the attack on Aurora. [Ah, but what would have been her motive?]
Demon and Helena were eating in the dining room as Aurora returned with Pascual, Anita, Angel, and his two barrio buds. They brought food with them. Demon was not happy but Aurora would not permit him to be rude. Demon and Angel stared at each other.

Angel/Aurora. Great recap, Urban! Couples counseling is actually a good idea! Though it is still likely that Aurora will end up with Antonio. The back and forth between Angel and Damian is getting a bit annoying. Esperanza gave JC good advice about fighting for Aurora. She obviously has more sense than he does. BTW, Briana has incredibly good taste in jackets.

I don’t think Jezabel will come out on top with Tete. She’s met her match.
I didn’t realize Briana was living in the hotel with her mother. She’d be better off with Antonio. Is Antonio ever going to get a DNA test? They seem to assume Pintas is the dad. JC would have to back off some if Antonio was the biological dad.

I agree. We never saw whose hair sample Jezabel submitted or any conversation she had with any lab employee at the site of that test. I am surprised that Antonio hasn't had that lightbulb moment yet in view of the discovery of the fake death certificate.
We also have the casting of the three actors to consider: Both Rene Casados and Jorge Salinas are fair-complexioned and dark-haired with vertical dimples, like Moises Penaloza. The writers are keeping us guessing. As I have previously said, if Antonio is Angel's bio-dad that needs to provoke a DNA test on Helena that would show that she isn't Antonio's bio-daughter. She is blonde and looks like it's natural and we have never seen a photo of her mother.
If my theory is correct there are now enough episodes for this to be resolved but they better start it now. The result could still go either way and if it was Pintas' sperm that won the race to the egg we would finally have an acknowledgement that nurture beats nature in terms of influence on personality. I really hate the idea that the opposite seemed to dominate because if true humans can't overcome such bad genes.
I do hope that Tete contributes to Jezabel's Karmageddon.
