I am currently working on yesterday's installment of Angel on Vix because my cable company's On Demand was not working. I did not have to log in to my premium account to do this. The episodes are available sometime after 2AM EST.

I appreciate you working so hard to bring us the recaps. Please know that no one will hold it against you if you throw in the towel. You are going above and beyond! This should be over soon if they cut out half the remaining episodes! I’m ready for it to end as when I watch it makes no sense. Is it on the computer that you watch the real episodes?

Yes; I watch them on the computer. You can probably access it on a tablet as well. Vix Gratis is accessible through Amazon Prime video but I didn't see this series listed there.
 

El Angel de Aurora #109
Part 1 of 3 (Including deleted scenes and fragments)

[DS] Repeat of last scene of 108 with Demon in Mr Hyde mode. [/DS]

Edgar complimented Elvia on her beauty, although he doubted that Antonio was getting back together with her, then his phone rang. Briana told him that Angel found out he was involved in the eviction. Edgar saw that this would lead it back to Demon. She asked if Jezabel knew he was hiding Pintas. He said No, then thanked her and ended the call.

Demon switched back to Dr Jekyll mode and even suggested couples therapy. Helena wanted this over before anything got bathed in blood. Helena got up and told Demon she was vacating the house. After her departure Demon assumed this was about Angel. He kept saying “My mother was lying.” She loves me.” “She is mine!”

[DS] Esperanza and Pepe escorted Cassandra home. Anita and Rolando were dressed like angels and he read her a letter from the baby she had just lost who was happy and playing with other child angels. She started crying at the last line about there will soon be another baby.

Helena called Aurora because Antonio didn't answer his phone. She asked if they could meet. Aurora told her she was at Angel's house, so Helena didn't want to cause a problem Aurora said she didn't have to hide from anyone. She would text her later. Angel came into the room and they left together.

[DS]

Demon was on his phone setting up a meeting with Edgar. Jezabel told the lawyer from the scene yesterday that it was a good thing that JC was not in the office before he left her office. Aquiles told Jezabel that Demon was going out, possibly to meet Edgar.

Luis asked JC about Antonio. JC thought he could gt Aurora back, thinking Antonio would not recover from this.

Antonio's audit still in progress. He had his secretary call someone named Duarte.

Pascual was already at the cemetery with flowers. Briana was with Angel and Aurora and they talked about Demon, who had a lot of explaining to do. Aurora mentioned the divorce. Helena arrived and saw Aurora and Briana in the cemetery. Aurora excused herself to talk to Helena. Briana tried to scold Aurora for “bad taste” and said that Helena was there for Angel. Pascual agreed with her.

Duarte (or whoever) showed Antonio documents that had no signatures.

Aurora did not like how Briana took this, saying that her sister needed her now. Helena said she would leave, but Aurora went to join her. Pascual and Briana allowed Angel to go to Vicki's grave alone. Briana called her mother and told her sotto voce “That stupid Helena is divorcing Demon.” Patricia was shocked. Briana said she would call her later.

Antonio took off his jacket to sit down to work but collapsed into the chair.

[DS] Esperanza told Cassandra the doctor had given her the necessary medications. The kids hugged her, Aquiles arrived, and everyone had cake. Cassandra said she was going on with her life. [/DS]

Helena was upset at Briana's reaction to her presence. Aurora said she is unlikely to be able to avoid that, then asked about Demon. Helena told her her reasons for the divorce. Aurora told her not to blame herself, as marriage errors are by both.

[DS] Demon went to the bar where Linette served him a drink. He talked about himself and the divorce as though he had been the Great Catch he never was. He had been waiting for half an hour and it became evident that Edgar likely did that on purpose because he was no longer his gato, which Demon still sees him as. He got up to go upstairs. [/DS]

Aurora told Helena she made the right decision. Helena told her about him tearing up the petition and Aurora explained that Demon is very solitary. He did not have the care of a father and that he never learned how to love. His behavior was all on him. Nobody teaches how to be a parent. However this does not excuse abuses. Helena thanked her and they hugged.

 

El Angel de Aurora #109
Part 2 of 3

[DS] Angel spoke to Vicki's grave, saying the usual things and that he was still the boy she raised. He also admitted that he still loved Helena but was not going to fool himself about this in case she and Demon reconciled.

Briana told Pascual she didn't like Helena being around Angel and was sure that Aurora did not like the idea of her(self) and Angel marrying. She told a whopper of a lie, that Helena is divorcing Demon because she liked the idea of two men fighting over her and the possibility of Angel dying for this. [In the words of a great woman “God will get you for that.”] Pascual looked like he believed this crap.

Jezabel paced behind her closed office door, swearing revenge on Pintas, Aurora, and Angel, saying “After that I will be fine.” She sat down with the thought of finding the worst suffering she could inflict and went to her computer. [/DS]

Patricia entered Jezabel's office to tell her about the wedding, now to happen in two months. Patricia asked if she knew about the divorce “because Demon is just like you.” Jezabel looked up as Patricia said she needed help to prevent any problems.

Pascual said he would speak to Aurora about this and to Angel. He then left, saying he was going to get Anita at Esperanza's. [/DS]

Briana called Demon to tell him about Helena having been in the cemetery. Also to rat out the suspicion that Angel has about him and Edgar being involved in the evictions. He asked if Helena knew and she said she didn't think so but it was likely she would soon find out. They ended the call and Demon sat back on the red velvet couch and drank some more.

[DS] Helena felt free but still like she was fighting the world. Aurora told her that her father will want to help her because he loves her. She also told her that she and her father were taking a second chance on love. Helena was thrilled at this and they hugged. Antonio's secretary called Aurora and told her what happened in the office. [/DS]

The company doctor wrote some instructions and told Antonio he needed tests because of the high stress he had been under.

[DS] Aquiles and Glorio talked about Jezabel and Carlos. Aquiles said to say nothing or he (himself) would fall under suspicion. They had to see this through “For evil to flourish it is only necessary for good men to do nothing.” Several movie quotes later Glorio was still reluctant. [/DS]

Part 3 of 3

Night

JC was happy to see Luis and Mané together. Elvia and Edgar came in. JC wondered if there was anything between them.

[DS] Angel sat with Anita on the couch while Pascual was trying to repair something at the table. He was having trouble concentrating because of Briana's lie. Angel moved to the chair next to him and said he was a man of integrity and could be trusted to do the right thing, as he was raised to do, Pascual suspected that Aurora was interfering in this situation. Angel pointed out that he and Briana were adults and wanted to be respected as such. [/DS]

Aurora and Helena were shocked at Antonio's condition, believing he had a heart attack.. Helena told him she needed him and about the divorce. She was coming to live with him. Antonio hugged both women and told Helena they'd talk about this at home. He excused himself and when he left the room Marita told Aurora and Helena that Antonio had been very stressed out that day. This led to Aurora saying she had to get JC to talk to him.

Elvia and JC had a drink together. She asked him if he was jealous seeing her with Edgar. He said no, but also that he didn't trust him. Elvia said she had closed the case on Edgar's mother but was working on a new one. Aurora called him and Elvia left her seat. He wanted Aurora to come to his office.

Later That Night

[DS] Pascual reminded Angel to practice what he and Vicki had taught him. Angel then said that he feared having Pintas' blood which would be deadly along with that of Miguel Campero. He needed Pascual to trust him to be able to control his emotions. Pascual said he would but made him sweat to marry Briana. He said he would. [/DS]

Demon entered Jezabel's office and it looked like he locked the door. She was revising something, probably illegally. He was thinking of strangling her. They argued about who to blame for the divorce. He said it was her interference. She said everything he did caused the divorce. He now has to do as she says to save his dignity.

[DS] Helena asked Antonio why he fought with JC. He told her he feared losing Aurora again. He described what happened and asked her about Demon. She said she imagined they would be like him and Aurora which ended up with the confession that the comparison to her father and Aurora was more like herself and Angel.

Demon listened to his mother saying that he should pretend to be hurt and suicidal over the divorce. “Like Edgar?” he asked. He didn't like or believe this. Jezabel said he had to put on a real guilt-tripper of an act to avoid the divorce and losing Helena to his cousin. He listened and said he could do this but they still had to make Angel look like a rabid dog. Jezabel said “One thing at a time” and laid out the steps, which would end with Helena eating out of his hand when he becomes president of the company. [/DS]

Palmiro is having another grandchild.

Pascual saw Pintas and went after him. Pintas pulled out a knife, pressing it to Pascual's face saying “Don't you remember that you and I used to get along very well? My little boy already takes great care of me; for that I'm not going to do anything. But the time has come for him to start living ith his real father.” Pascual got out of this hold and threatened Pintas' life if he got anywhere near Angel. Pascual almost laughed, saying that Pascual could not even kill in self-defense and threatened to kill Angel if he told anyone about this.

 

Angel/Aurora. Once again going above and beyond, Urban! But I agree with Liz that no one will blame you that it becomes so much that you have to throw in the towel. In the meantime, I enjoy every minute of your recaps. I though that Aurora did a very good character analysis of Demian. Briana has been behaving exceptionally badly, for example, when she lied about Helena's only divorcing Demian to stir up trouble between him and Angel (ho hum). She also hinted that Helena wanted Angel to die (or at least thought that Helena might cause that).

Thanks again, Urban, you fall in all the blanca as this show jumps around and add more drama. And we’re ready for it to wind down!

Now Antonio seems to be at deaths door, oops, it’s just his anxiety killing him. And his company is bankrupt. Who caused that.

At least Briana seems to be changing back to that not very nice girl she was at the beginning, so when Ángel, hopefully, dumps her we won’t feel sorry for her. She still seems to side with Demon, and help him with his manipulations.

Elvira is working on a new case. Maybe Edgar hired her to go after Jezabel. Although Edgar probably knows plenty about her.

Angel / Aurora #109

I don't like seeing Antonio's health suffering. I have an awful sense of forboding about this because this role does not require the actor's full talent. I've seen him do operatic death scenes but since this story didn't come from a Turkish original I am not prepared for one.

Briana is the new version of Jezabel in that she is doing the same thing to Helena that Jezabel was doing to Aurora back in the day.

Edgar knows a lot about Jezabel but except for the murder of his mother he could be implicated in some of them.

Part 1 of 3 (Including deleted scenes and fragments)

[DS] Repeat of second half of 109's last scene.

Luis and Mané were still in the restaurant. The waiter handed him the bill. Edgar stopped by the table and got sarcastic with Luis as well as commenting that Mané looked like a younger Jezabel but was not so expensive with regard to gifts. Luis stood up, saying “Don't mess with me.” Edgar conceded, if only because Luis is a half inch taller. [/DS]

Aurora and JC met and he told her about the argument. She reminded him that he was the one to initiate the divorce. She was angry because JC would not help Antonio out of the current situation. For that she now wanted no relationship with him, business or personal.

[DS] As Luis and Mané were leaving Edgar continued to taunt them until Elvia stopped him with a reminder that they were going to dine. He still got in a very ungentlemanly comment about being defended by a little girl in absence of his father. Luis came back with a dig about Edgar's abandonment of Cassandra. Edgar yelled that one more time and he would end the same way as his brother. Luis came back in and if not for the efforts of Elvia and Mané they would have brawled. Elvia scolded Edgar for this but he didn't care.

Helena went home with Antonio and said he was not to go to work. She was going to keep an eye on him. She apologized for their past differences. He started to tell her about the bankruptcy threat.

Briana made a vocally showy declaration of love for Angel and he told her she had to stop being jealous of Helena. She didn't like this but didn't fight it. She did tell him she wanted the civil ceremony the next day. He was surprised at the rush, but she said they only needed their witnesses, do the deed, and go to the office and nobody there has to know. [And she still wears those dominatrix boots].

Antonio told Helena about the sudden cancellation of the MacQueen contract and that Edgar's name came into it.

JC and Aurora got into the issue of their divorce and Antonio's role in her life. That this came up was because their relationship wasn't working.

Briana finally backed off the tomorrow plan but said “very soon.” Pascual came home but all he told them was that he spent a little time with Palmiro. Angel then told him that he and Briana would be getting married soon por civil.

Antonio told Helena about Demon wanting to be a partner in that project but he didn't accept that condition. He had a bad vibe about it. Then Edgar's name appeared.

As Aurora was about to leave she told JC he was mistaken. She was dealing with reality. He was offended that she wanted to see him to defend Antonio so he asked her to leave.

Helena was feeling unsure about marriage; it was more complex than she thought. When Antonio asked her if she loved Demon she said she intended to years ago but...[/DS]

Part 2 of 3

Morning

Helena brought a protein drink to Antonio but no caffeine because he may have had a heart attack. She ran through the day's agenda. They would meet Aurora at the office and he would see the doctor later. He wanted to go to the mansion with her but she said No because she didn't want him to get into a fight with Demon.

Luis and JC talked about JC wanting Aurora back, then the conversation was about Edgar. Luis told him what happened after he left their table. Elvia came to see him about Edgar.

Demon went the apology route to Helen, saying he could not sleep and had no energy. She suggested therapy. He got on his knees to embrace her... just as Angel walked in. He looked sad but Helena's back was to the door.

[DS] Angel asked if everything was alright. Demon said no apology was necessary; he didn't have any energy for conflict. Helena said Angel was aware they were divorcing. Of course Demon had to rub their noses in the pending marriage of Angel and Briana, even saying they had to decline being the padrinos. Angel said not to worry, they would ask others. He hoped that they could face the truth and not hide behind deceptions.

A girl we haven't met yet went to reception to fetch Aquiles for HR. Glorio could not stop staring at her.

Elvia told JC that Edgar had her investigate Jezabel in the possibility that she put a hit on his mother. She now thinks she didn't do it; it was a conflict of interest. She could not tell him any more. However she gave him a warning not to get mixed up with Edgar because of the ugly confrontation between him and Luis. “His mother had many dealings but was not a cruel woman. He now has the same power, but nobody has brakes on him. Nobody.” She got up to leave saying she wanted to help but must do so from a distance. She kissed him before leaving and he stared after her.

Aurora told Antonio to take care of himself. Both were satisfied at the news of the divorce. Aquiles and Glorio were in the office. Antonio told her he suspected Demon was involved in his company's problem. She asked Glorio why he was hanging out in reception. He said he was waiting for Aquiles who was trying to find out what happened to Carlos. Aquiles appeared on those last words. Aurora thought about this but then had to go into the meeting.


[DS] Maggie was getting ready to leave for work. She thanked Patricia for helping get Rolando to school. After she left Patricia was brushing the boy's hair and messed it up deliberately at the mention of Pintas. [/DS]

Jezabel gave Pintas money for a new job. She asked if Patricia gave him any money and he said No and called her a traitor.

Part 3 of 3

Rolando asked Patricia about Carlos and then turned on the computer. He noticed that Maggie had forgotten her lunch and ran out with it. Patricia looked at the video of Carlos with the music box. He was self-pitying, crying, and clearly suicidal as he said “You will be guilty of my death.” Patricia looked disturbed.

Antonio and Aurora were at the computer. He was hoping to resolve his business problem and she was saying the most reassuring things. JC entered and saw them kissing. He told Antonio he found the solution.

[DS] Patricia took the USB drive, saying “At last, Jezabel, you're in my hands.” Rolando came back and asked about the file. Patricia said it was nothing. She asked where he found the drive and he said it was in Don Pascual's house. He wasn't sure but ot could have been in the music box that Aquiles gave to Anita. She took his hand to go to school. She didn't give it back, saying it had a virus.

Antonio didn't like JC's solution but Aurora suggested he reconsider and left them alone to talk. [DS]

Helena was trying to get the elevator, repeatedly pressing the button. She broke down in tears just in time for Angel to get there. She spoke of the divorce and felt that she had violated a sacred love or oath to God. He told her she was being true to herself and she stopped a cycle of abuse. He admired her for that and wiped her tears away.

Jezabel counted out more money. After more perving he said he did not trust Patricia because she hasn't paid him lately. Jezabel asked him if he had heard that Antonio and Aurora were going to get married after all this time.

[DS] Angel and Helena came up from the parking garage. Aurora needed some air because of what was going on with JC and Antonio; They went out of the reception area.

Pintas strutted about as Jezabel pulled out two more wads of cash. Vampi left the apartment to get the super. Jezabel wanted Pintas to kill Antonio. He actually looked shocked.

Antonio and JC talked. No details but JC's plan would keep Antonio out of prison and spare Aurora and Helena any real pain.

Edgar gave Demon a bottle of pills he might want to drug Helena with. This was something Jezabel used, maybe on her conquests. Demon was not sure this would work since Helena doesn't take pills. Edgar had another jar with powder of the same drug. MORE

Angel was with Helena and Aurora, walking through the park. Helena was beginning to feel free. Aurora wanted both of them to be successful. She loved Helena like a daughter. Aurora told Angel he will be a good husband and in time a great father. He said it would be a while before that.

Demon told Edgar he and Helena had not had relations for more than a month [Demon no es caballero]. He also had to take over the company and told Edgar he would make him a partner. He then first they had to expose Angel as a thug with press coverage. They shook hands.
 

Angel / Aurora #110

This episode really demonstrates how bad the slicing and dicing makes it all not make sense.

Demon is the one responsible for Antonio's money problems and he obviously set Edgar up as a fall guy. No matter what he says to Edgar now I'm certain that Demon will never give up the idea that he is the Ubermensch. But I don't see Edgar missing that.

Demon is losing it at this point. It's a tossup to me whether he will kill Jezabel or vice versa.

My key question now is what will Patricia do? While she is in need of a nasty fate of her own I don't want to see her try to blackmail Jezabel with that video. Jezabel is too smart to not do something about that.
 

Angel/Aurora

Thanks for plowing through this mess and filling in our blanks. They could have cut out some unimportant stuff, like that crazy boyfriend of the older woman! I never understood why they added that guy, it was just silly. But instead they cut need to know stuff. Who is pulling all these strings now! Edgar has become another Demon. Only not as messed up in the head as Demon.
