[DS]As Jezabel poured two glasses of water Helena described Demon's recent behaviour. Jezabel said that this was because Helena was not behaving like a wife [...as if Jezabel ever did back in the day]. Helena told her off for this disrespect. We can be sure that she saw Jezabel's apology as insincere. Jezabel then said that Demon needed to start a family and said “You need to have a baby.” [...so that another generation of toxic parenting happens?] She said this had to happen to prevent Demon doing something crazy or commit some indiscretion. Helena asked what she meant; Jezabel said it was the realization of a cousin, which is a time bomb waiting to explode. She ended the meeting there, saying she needed to deal with Edgar and her nerves were on edge.

Edgar continued to read his mother's letter. She said she had no proof that Juventino Macias raped Aurora at Jezabel's behest, so he would have to get him to confess to it. He took another look at the photos.[/DS]

Aurora greeted the returning employees. Some office BS, then Aurora left with the two important men in her life. Aquiles and Glorio saw Helena en route to Jezabel's office. They wanted to promote their business. Helena invited them to her birthday party in Las Flores. Angel asked Helena if she would join them for lunch, but Demon was in a meeting and she was waiting for him.

Jezabel offered chocolates in her office; Glorio took one [Glorio, you are an idiot.]. Jezabel pretended to have been mistaken in terminating them. Aquiles asked to talk to her alone. [He looks like he has a plan; let's hope it doesn't need undercover work].

Patricia was at Pintas' place. She said not to worry about her daughter. She said she was going to talk to Edgar. He was looking to get some of Teté's assets. Patricia asked if he really trusted her [We're wondering why he even let her in in the first place]. He laughed and snapped his fingers. Vampi appeared with a briefcase which contained what looked like a contract. He said she should sign and she would be a partner six months after the launch. His name would then be Macario Mercado.

[DS]Briana texted Angel saying Edgar had not answered her other messages. Angel answered that he was having lunch with his mother and her two suitors and he was there to control their tempers. He made a dinner date with her to fill her in.[/DS]

Aquiles told Jezabel they had taken the music box but had concluded that Jezabel had nothing to do with Carlos' death. He took all responsibility for taking the music box. She threatened him if he decided to do anything against her. He said to count on him. She asked if he had found anything else; he said No. He left her office, met Glorio outside, assured him that he got Jezabel to trust them again, and suggested they go to lunch.

[DS]Aurora ordered a drink and told the guys she wanted to dance all night. They started arguing about it. Then the music started and another man of their generation came to the table to ask Aurora to dance, thinking – or pretending – that JC and Antonio were her brothers. She accepted, the guy introduced himself, and they danced. Angel looked amused and commented that his mother was a free woman and could dance with whomever she pleased. Neither Antonio nor JC were amused [Briana, however, will find this amusing].

Just as she was leaving the office Jezabel's doctor called her saying she needed treatment ASAP or her condition would get worse.

[DS]Aurora continued dancing with Vigo. When the music stopped he escorted her back to the table, addressed JC and Antonio as cuñados, ordered a round of drinks for her table, and returned to his own. Both JC and Antonio were somewhat confounded by this and each each asked her to dance. She turned them both down to dance with Angel, who obliged her.

Apparently, JC and Antonio behaved themselves at the table. Aurora and Angel walked down the street in Las Flores. Briana and Helena were in the Campero house. Antonio was there, saying the garden was lovely for the party. Helena – whose 1950's blue dress did nothing positive for her – did not look too happy.

JC and Elvia checked into a hotel.

Aurora flashed back to her younger self and Antonio's and their meeting at the fiesta of long ago. She hugged him, saying that this was where it all began.

Jezabel and Demon saw them. She laughed. Aurora heard her.[/DS]

Pintas entered singing and modeled his latest fashion in front of Vampi. [The spats were a bit comical] and talked to him about a business opportunity. Patricia showed up with Edgar who ID'd him. Pintas got nervous.

[DS]Everyone else arrived, the usual greetings. Aurora asked Antonio if he remembered tis spot. He did, indeed.[/DS] Angel asked Briana to be his novia. She accepted, suggesting they live together. Neither Aurora nor Helena liked this. Antonio said nothing at first, but seemed to agree with them. Jezabel cackled. Demon smirked and egged her on.

Pintas tried to tell Edgar he was confusing him with someone else. Edgar called him out, saying he knew who he was.

[DS]All sat at the table, multiple good wishes around. Antonio said that since Briana is his daughter his consent is appropriate. Briana got up, telling Antonio he had been a real father to her. Antonio appreciated this but when he said that this day they became a beautiful family he looked only halfway to that sentiment. Angel did not smile at all. Neither did Helena. Demon noticed that. [/DS]

Pintas continued to deny his identity. Patricia said that Edgar inherited his mother's business and wanted to offer him a business opportunity. Pintas said something that was in questionable taste and Edgar confronted him about the rape.

Aurora asked Angel if he was sure. JC said to enjoy >noviazgo. Briana asked Helena about the pregnancy news. Jezabel was enthused at the thought. Antonio liked the idea but thought it better to wait. Helena said they would be among the first to know. Briana declared her love for Angel and that nobody nor anything would separate them. Demon grinned. Angel looked sad.

Pintas cursed Patricia and Jezabel. After some more of his venom Edgar revealed that Jezabel had killed Teté and that he knew she tried to kill him. “If you help me get revenge on Jezabel I will make you my partner without you having to put in a single peso.” Pintas looked very interested.

[DS]The subject of another party came up. Helena wanted to invite Esperanza, Aquiles, etc. Demon was not in favor of this. Aurora spoke fondly of Las Flores and asked Angel if he'd go to the church with her. He agreed to. She asked Antonio if he would go with them. He finally said Yes.[/DS]

Thanks, Susan, and I agree about Juan Pablo Gil. He's ready.

I did notice that hat; should have commented on it. It definitely suited her, even in combination with that dress which looked inappropriate even for Tete's funeral. After all, a madam can have standards.

I figured out why this is happening: They're trying to get more Vix subscriptions..

I fell behind on Diana Salazar and it's not On Demand. You need a premium subscription on Vix to see it if you miss the Sunday broadcast. The slicing and dicing of the normal M-F novelas gives us the whole episodes the next day at the same hour on my cable as on Vix.

Granted, the price is good and there is a lot of free content, but this throws a lot of us off track. Many viewers have not been accustomed to Appointment TV for decades now.
 

Angel/Aurora. Another excellent recap, Urban. Those deletions are annoying, but you definitely clarify things. The sooner we get rid of Pintas the better, but I suspect he'll be around for a while. Ditto for Demian. Btw, I had difficulties with my Univision feed stalling today. Did anyone else experience the same thing?
