El Angel de Aurora #103
Part 1 of 3 (Including deleted scenes and fragments)
[DS] Demon continued to plead with Antonio to convince Helena to stay in Las Flores. Antonio continued to comment that she seemed perfectly normal at her birthday party. Demon mentioned her pride, etc. Demon then asked if they could go the next day.
JC told Aurora that Demon isn't good at business. At best they could keep only the smallest regional stores. He told her that Demon was talking to Antonio about Helena and she was not to worry because he retracted his resignation. She thanked him with a hug.
Jezabel was listening to a classical mass while handling her favorite intoxicant and Patricia entered. She wore a ridiculously 1960's retro number and was fed up with the way Jezabel had been treating her recently. She asked why she doesn't help her with the wedding. That got her attention and she didn't take it seriously because Angel was still (bewitched) in love with Helena. She had bigger fish to fry, saying that Demon had betrayed her and was planning something. Her phone showed an unknown number leading to Aquiles telling her that Antonio asked about a document found in her office. Luis had given him Antonio's number but he was asking for direction. [/DS] She messaged him that she would see him tomorrow in her office. He was tense, hoping this goes well or Jezabel will kill him.
Glorio charged in, demanding to know what he was up to with Jezabel.
Briana ate with the Santos family. Angel had told her about the current fiscal problem and she said that this was not his fault. Anita told her to keep Patricia away from her dad.
Glorio was angry at the prospect of Aquiles cheating on Maggie. Aquiles told him he was setting a trap. Glorio asked how. Aquiles was a but agitated.
[DS] Anita went to her room as her dad took the dishes to the sink. Lovey-dovey stuff, but no actual proposal.[/DS]
Edgar “congratulated” Demon about the forging of Jezabel's signature. Now it was possible to destroy the company.
[DS] Briana and Angel kissed and moved toward his room [¡No, Angel! ¡Cuidate!] as the sleeping Helena deamt of him and herself in a forest at night playing near a tree.
JC and Aurora talked about the company. He was willing to invest and so was Antonio. [DS]
Edgar and Demon talked about “You need my help” but Edgar got the upper hand saying he had lots of dirt on them. Demon was going to propose something big. Edgar said “Okay, talk.”
Aurora said the three of them will solve the problem. The two men shook hands and agreed to put their differences aside. They're going to pull an all-nighter.
[DS] Angel and Briana might also and the flies on the wall are screaming at him. He heard and pulled back. Saved by the cell for good measure. Aurora called about the business resolution and needed him. He said he'd be there. [/DS]
Demon said that Antonio must lose an important contract and Helena's new company must be destroyed. Edgar wanted to know the value of the losses. He also wanted to know why Helena was being targeted. Demon said he wanted her far away from everything. He wanted this done in the morning for which he promised him a lot of money. Edgar said “Do I look like I need money? No, you have something else I want: Your position at Campero.”
[DS] Aurora et al talked about JC's and Antonio's investments not being enough to alleviate the problem. Taking the company public would do that but Angel reminded her that this would put control in the shareholders' hands. Aurora thought that avoiding bankruptcy was the priority.
Jezabel came in and said she would help. Aurora told her off, saying if she had the night before they'd have lost everything by then. She fired her and pointed to the door.

Part 2 of 3
Night
[DS] Anastasio sneaked into Helena's room to retrieve the water glass, which had an inch left in it. He poured it into the large plant near the bedroom door, then called Demon to report this. [Yes, the water had been drugged] He asked if this was to be done again; Demon said to call him.
As Demon put away his phone Aurora and Jezabel continued their argument. Demon said “This is a house, not a barrio” loud enough for Angel to hear and he deliberately gave an insincere apology.. Angel did not take the bait and it was Aurora who finally lost her temper at both Jezabel and her hellspawn. They walked out. Aurora told all present that they had made her life impossible when she was looking for her son and screwed the company during that time. She was going to move the company forward for all of them. All applauded her and got back to work.[/DS]
Jezabel slugged Demon over this. He blamed her, She called him an ingrate. He called her out about Patricia and Pintas, including the rape for which she would pay on her own. She hit him again with the classic Toxic Parent justification of “I did it all for you!” She taunted him, saying she knew his weaknesses. Saying he will pay because of Helena. He told her to shut up and then she accused him of being afraid of Angel. His reaction told her he had forged her signature. He laughed and named her distractions: Edgar, Luis, Pintas. “I'm I charge.”
Edgar visited Pintas. Someone was recording this. He said Jezabel would show up the next day and threw a black case to him. Pintas opened it and took out a little cash. He was to do the same to her that he did to Aurora 30 years ago.
Jezabel yelled that the business was hers. Demon said the old blood must go. But not to worry because he will also get rid of Aurora and Angel. They are getting revenge but one of them will be sacrificed for the other. “That will be you because my aunt doesn't believe you.” She finally answered that yes, her time had come. “I will accept my mistake in front of everyone.” [No. This is not the end for her... yet]
Part 2 of 3
Night

[DS] Angel and Antonio talked sotto voce about Helena being alone in Las Flores. They agreed to talk about this later.[/DS]
Luis brought JC the file on “Romoualdo Garcia.” Jezabel told Aurora she was resigning tomorrow. Antonio warned Aurora to be careful because Jezabel and Demon could be planning something.
[DS] Jezabel went out into the garden, still hearing Demon's voice about her cougar ways. She then decided to accuse Edgar. [DS]
Next Morning
[DS]Anastasio served Helena's breakfast in the garden as she talked to Anita, who invited her to graduation. Helena thanked her but said she wasn't sure she could make it. “Because it would annoy Demon?” Anita asked. Anastasio heard this as he started back to the house.
Tania entered the new office to find it vandalized. No computers in sight.
The Lunch Crowd was breakfasting at Esperanza's. Aquiles got a message from Jezabel's new burner phone to meet her in the parking garage. Esperanza saw this over his shoulder and asked about it.
Anastasio came out of the house with a fresh pitcher of water. Helena finished her conversation with Anita because of an incoming call. [/DS] Tania called Helena to tell her that their office was robbed and vandalized.
Jezabel went to Edgar about the forgery and accused him of setting a trap. He denied doing the latter, telling her that this happened a long time ago and was a long time in planning. Jezabel was shocked enough to turn away so Edgar didn't see her face as she whispered “Why, Demon?”
Angel and JC talked about the problem. Demon told them that Jezabel was resigning and that part of her share should be used to pay down the interest. Aurora told him he would have to do the same.
[DS] Aquiles lied his way out of this one. Maggie told him to answer this a certain way but Esperanza said this wasn't a good thing to do. Maggie wanted to make sure he wasn't cheating on her. [Oy, vey] [/DS]
Demon claimed no responsibility, saying he did a good job as President, but Aurora had the authority to demand this now. Demon made comments about risks and Antonio pointed out this was a team effort. His phone signaled a call from Helena and he left the room to answer, saying that Angel will talk about the solution they came to the night before.
Antonio took Helena's call and she told him what happened to her office. She and Tania could not handle this alone and she didn't want to stay in Las Flores or leave Tania alone there. She had wanted to return to Mexico City with Demon but he didn't want that. Antonio said they'd look at the office the next day and she should return to Mexico City; they would talk in her office. He went back to the meeting.
Anastasio – who most likely had eavesdropped while pretending to trim hedges – asked if everything was alright. She said No and insisted upon returning to Mexico City. He said she could not without Demon saying so. She ordered him to call her a taxi while she packed, then went into the house Anastasio called Demon to report all this, which disappointed Demon. He told him to do as she says and soon she will return. [In your dreams, hellspawn].
Jezabel flashed back to Edgar when she tried to convince him she did not kill his mother and tried once again to seduce him. He told her that Demon saw her as an obstacle to him running the company. That her worst enemy isn't Aurora, it's Demon. He sent her to Pintas, who could teach Demo quite a lesson for a little money.
Aurora told Demon they had to save the regional employees' jobs. He tried telling her that Helena wasn't well. She looked like she didn't believe this any more than Antonio did.

Jezabel is truly unhinged. She is so full of hate she knows nothing else. I have the feeling that if Aurora died by whatever means she would have to die as well because she would have nothing to live for.

Part 1 of 3 (Including deleted scenes and fragments)
[DS] Demon tried pulling the same BS on Aurora as he had on Antonio, saying that Helena was (mentally) ill. She flashed back to the staircase incident, then asked “What is going on with you two?” [/DS]
Pintas prepared for his confrontation with Jezabel.
Demon tried to gaslight Aurora about Helena and Angel. She was not buying his accusations against Angel. He begged her to give him another chance as regional VP “for Helena as well as for me.” She agreed.
JC complimented Angel on his presentation. He pointed out some minor revisions needed and told him he was at the level for this. Someone gave JC documents to sign. JC told Angel he needed to buy up the shares so Aurora will have them all while Jezabel and Demon would be out. He was going to do this alone [...which will not play well with Antonio]. JC wanted Angel on his side for this because the only head of the company needs to be Aurora. No Demon or Jezabel.
[DS] Tania showed Antonio the wreckage in Helena's office. All electronics gone, and their projects along with them. Antonio said that at least this happened when they were not there Helena arrived and saw this. She and Tania had worked very late so there was a small window of time for this. Antonio suggested working remotely from Las Flores (possibly thinking they had been watched). [/DS]
Pepe saw Aquiles getting into Jezabel's car. She asked how Antonio knew about the document. He made something up about Aurora's wedding day and the drunken conversation in the bar. She couldn't make sense of it and lost patience but asked for something else. Saying she will be out of the company for a while she wanted to know everything about Demon.
[DS] Helena was justifiably angry at the situation, telling her father she did not want to be locked up. This was her business. She was not looking to be protected like a child. She wouldn't even let him touch her. [DS]
JC explained to Aurora about all the shares. He bought them all and put her name on them so she has more than Jezabel and Demon together. Angel agreed with him that this was the only way to protect her from her own family. She wanted to talk about this with Antonio because he also owned shares and she didn't want this done behind his back.
[DS] Helena was still incredulous because this was one more assault on her dreams. Antonio offered to help her financially but she didn't want that. Her independence was at stake. She started crying and Antonio embraced her, saying it will be alright.
Jezabel told Aquiles he had to be her eyes and ears down to the smallest details. She got a bit too personal in her gestures and he said he had to gt back. Pepe hid behind a supporting beam as Aquiles got out of the car. As Jezabel drove out Pepe anticipated Maggie's reaction.
[DS] Rolando read something aloud about the historical Julius Caesar and didn't quite get it. Patricia took the notebook and started her melodramatic performance as Cleopatra. Pascual applauded out of politeness while Rolando and Anita were unimpressed. They sat down to eat. The kids said they liked what Patricia made and Anita asked about it for graduation. She told her that Helena would be her madrina for that. Pascual was looking at Vicki's photo and talking to it. This time even the kids looked a little concerned. [/DS]

[DS] Luis and Mané talked. She asked him about Jezabel.
Pascual looked and sounded like he was losing touch with reality over Vicki and what she would have wanted in the current situation. Anita was firm in her choice on this. Patricia began getting nervous. [/DS]
The Lunch Crowd knew something had happened. Pepe started asking Aquiles what was going on in the parking lot. Glorio interrupted, Pepe sat down, and Esperanza announced they were to marry. Unnoticed by the others Aquiles breathed a sigh of relief.
Mané and Luis became novios. [DS] Patricia appeared and said she looked like a young Jezabel. Luis gave her a dirty look.
Pascual wrote a letter to Vicki wit his thoughts, how much he missed her, and that Angel has his life and Briana for a novia. He kissed the framed photo and wrote about Anita. He sniffed Vicki's handkerchief and looked like he was about to cry. He did as he flashed back to happier times. [/DS]
Antonio's client canceled because he got a better offer and because of “corruption.” The offer came from Edgar Bautista.
Edgar made some sort of deal with Elvia. [No info yet, but we hope he told her that Jezabel killed his mother].
Angel and Briana got to the Santos home and found Pascual unconscious on the floor. Briana called the doctor.

[DS] Luis and Mané talked. She asked him about Jezabel.
Pascual looked and sounded like he was losing touch with reality over Vicki and what she would have wanted in the current situation. Anita was firm in her choice on this. Patricia began getting nervous. [/DS]
The Lunch Crowd knew something had happened. Pepe started asking Aquiles what was going on in the parking lot. Glorio interrupted, Pepe sat down, and Esperanza announced they were to marry. Unnoticed by the others Aquiles breathed a sigh of relief.
Mané and Luis became novios. [DS] Patricia appeared and said she looked like a young Jezabel. Luis gave her a dirty look.
Pascual wrote a letter to Vicki wit his thoughts, how much he missed her, and that Angel has his life and Briana for a novia. He kissed the framed photo and wrote about Anita. He sniffed Vicki's handkerchief and looked like he was about to cry. He did as he flashed back to happier times. [/DS]
Antonio's client canceled because he got a better offer and because of “corruption.” The offer came from Edgar Bautista.
Edgar made some sort of deal with Elvia. [No info yet, but we hope he told her that Jezabel killed his mother].
Angel and Briana got to the Santos home and found Pascual unconscious on the floor. Briana called the doctor.

Jezabel was at Pintas' place and was looking to teach Demon a lesson. Pintas looked confused.
Antonio had to talk to his bank because of transfers that did not happen.
Helena told Aurora she could not go back to Las Flores. She had been locked up and under surveillance. Nothing went well with Demon. Aurora told her to listen to her heart instead of reason and to tell him she would to work the region from Mexico City. Helena said she would and not care if he disagreed.

Thanks so much Urban, I’m sure it’s a lot of extra work to report what we see and what we don’t see! The show doesn’t seem to make sense until I Can fill in the deleted scenes in with what I see. Although I can’t figure out what Demon is trying to do with Helena. Telling everyone how sick she is when she isn’t, and everyone seems to realize this. They need to start warning her to stay away from Demon. And now Patricia seems to be a part of Pascual’s household. I’m ready for this to end!

[DS] Pintas attacked Jezabel (same footage as previous episode),
Patricia talking to Rolando and Anita in Maggie's house, saying she is looking to be in a new novela and telling Anita her father will be alright. Rolando had the car key device with the USB drive attached. Patricia said something about “modern children” and asked him about that. He said it wasn't much, but gad a file labeled “Carlos” on it. “Carlos... friend of yours?” she asked him.
Helena told Demon in no uncertain terms she was not leaving the city, especially with him. She had too much to do and needed control of her life back. His face was hostile. He stepped closer and did a facial 180 and started love-bombing, even kissing her hand. He agreed but insisted she work from home because of The Danger, even suggesting she use the library. She agreed, meekly. [Amiga, you should search that room for surveillance cameras on a daily basis.]. He hugged her and said the usual stuff but she not only didn't hug in return, she did not smile.
Patricia asked more about the file but Rolando had no answer. She wanted to look at it but Rolando said no. She would not return it either. Luis arrived, having looked for her for Briana. He told her off about interference in matters not her business. She missed getting on her high horse and finally left, putting the USB drive on the table. Luis cautioned Rolando about Patricia's propensity for gossip. [/DS]
Jezabel – fresh out of the shower – poured herself a drink and looked in the mirror telling herself she was not a victim as she put on lipstick. She recalled being on the floor on top of towels and a pillow and Pintas was on the couch. He kicked her with a bare foot, threw a partial roll of bathroom tissue at her, laughed at her, and said “Run! Run! And you can tell your sister she could be avenged.” He laughed. She swore he would pay and regret the day he was born.
Antonio and JC met in the latter's office. Antonio told him about the loss of the contract which he said was a misunderstanding. He asked about their plan for the Campero shares. JC told him he had bought all the shares. Antonio was angry because JC was looking to get Aurora back.
[DS] Aurora looked at he medical report and told Angel his father should be in the house with them so he can be better cared-for. He agreed. Briana looked up at this, displeased. She took the meds to Pascual's room. Angel and Aurora sat on the couch. He asked her advice, telling her he is getting married. To Briana. [/DS]
Helena looked in her mirror at the scar from the attack in the barrio. She thought of Angel, which Demon heard just outside. He entered and suggested they have dinner. He was wearing an apron.
[DS] Aurora asked if he thought this was a good decision. He spoke of wanting a family and children and marriage to a good woman. Net net, Aurora realized he was trying to convince himself that Briana was the right woman. Gratitude and affection were not enough. He admitted still loving Helena but she was with Demon and he had to get over that.
JC and Antonio continued this disagreement. Antonio accused JC of betrayal for trying to get “my son's” – Angel's – vote of confidence. Luis entered as Antonio left.
[DS] Angel told Aurora he wasn't going to give up his life for a love that cannot be, He had his father to think of. Aurora understood but told him not to use Pascual as a pretext for a bad decision. He persisted in thinking he needed to put Helena behind him and began to cry. [/DS]

[DS] Jezabel looked at the horse art her father had favored and flashed back to the day of his death when he saw her true nature. Also to Fabrizio, whom she destroyed deliberately. She picked up a prescription bottle and let it slip out of her hand. She flashed back to herself laughing at the dead Teté and laughed. She stopped laughing at thoughts of Pintas, Edgar, and Demon, only to laugh again when thinking of Helena.
Angel sat at the table, saying that his father was asleep and he felt he should stay with him. Aurora said she would stay as well, as did Briana. She even said she would take Anita to school in the morning. Angel kissed them both. [/DS]

[DS] Angel and Aurora arrived at the office anticipating the meeting. She told him to go home to his father right after. JC and Antonio arrived at the same time. Antonio raised the issue of the purchase, but Aurora said that would need to wait. [/DS] Helena arrived at the office to help. Aurora was happy. Helena and Angel went inside.
More disagreement among the Lunch Crowd who realized they were going to be late for work.
[DS] Helena and Angel opened their laptops. She looked at the trends and wondered how it all went south. He said to ask her husband or his mother. She told him she would not be going back to Las Flores, which made him smile. [/DS]
Demon went to see Jezabel who was neither made up or dressed. She told him to leave; she never wanted to see him again. She behaved as though she was accepting her wrongdoing, said she was sick, and was possibly trying to shock him. He assumed she was menopausal and she said it was possible. He started the routine of wellness talk, suggesting fresh air and rest. She said she would think. He apologized and told her that JC had purchased shares so he and Aurora now are in control. “If you give me yours I will have the majority.”

The barrio buzz was about Aquiles allegedly fooling around with Jezabel.
Antonio tried to reopen the purchase discussion but JC reminded him that his assets were frozen. Helena and Angel entered the conference room. Demon was not there and knew nothing about this meeting. The three investors came in and took their seats.
Pepe had ratted Aquiles out from the parking garage. Aquiles lied his way out of this.
Pintas called Jezabel looking for a dinner invitation. She answered that she would clip his wings herself.
Demon tried to persuade Jezabel to go to the office. She told him she thought she had Covid. She left the room, but also her phone. It rang and Demon answered. Pintas was calling and Demon concluded that he and Jezabel were …. something.
[DS] Aquiles told Maggie he was not cheating on her with Jezabel or anyone else. Cassandra doubled over in pain. [/DS]
Pintas and Edgar drank to this. Edgar said Jezabel's hell will happen little by little. Pintas was enjoying this too much. Edgar's phone rang. Maggie told him that Cassandra was in a bad way. He was to come immediately.

There are an incredible number of them, and your describing them clarifies a lot--like JC's and Antonio's willingness to invest in the company, all the steps Helena took to get herself back to Mexico City, Luis and Mane, and Pascual's psychological distress that led to his collapsing, among others. "Jezabel and her hellspawn." Loved it!

What floors me is how Antonio would have even allowed it because he is the son of Jezabel who chased him back in the day although he hadn't yet seen the full spectrum of her evil. Nonetheless, he is his mother's son in terms of insecurity which is the basis of narcissism.

Think about the early episodes where he wanted to dictate her wardrobe. She did not allow that. He was all about My Public Image. He would eventually move any and all goalposts to any change he would have demanded of her, as Jezabel may have done with him all his life. You can't win with narcissists.
By isolating her from Mexico City he could do anything to her he pleases, including marital rape and forced pregnancy. I wish these stories talked more about contraception because Helena would have been an excellent character to give that story to.

Aurora went to heat food that had gone cold. Patricia called Aurora “amiga” and expected her to wish Briana well in marrying Angel. Aurora turned her back on her. Everyone came to the table. Antonio made the announcement “Our kids are getting married”. Aurora took Briana's hand, then Angel's and wished them happiness. [/DS]

A lawyer from Campero brought a folder about the shares. You can't cede all these shares.” Jezabel said that this was written when the company was founded and nobody has read them until now. “Unless someone warns them, and that is not going to happen.” She smiled. “My rights are guaranteed for life and you're in charge of that.” She handed the folder and the pen back to him. She left the room and he stared into space for a moment.
[DS] Demon looked at the head shot of Miguel and flashed back to recent words from Jezabel. Then to his own headshot (delusionally replacing Miguel's in the frame) he said “I am the son you wanted to take your place. [/DS]
The Lunch Crowd were all at the hospital. Glorio came in with food. JC and Helena arrived. The doctor told Edgar that Cassandra miscarried. Edgar was shocked.

Aquiles and Glorio were talking about Edgar in the hospital corridor; he had walked out. JC took a call from another lawyer about Helena's divorce. Apparently either or both of them had seen Demon kiss Briana.
Pascual lit candles near Vicki's photo and prayed to hr to protect Angel from Pintas. He then found the note from Pintas addressed to Angel and calling himself Angel's father. The note said that he is condemned to commit the same sins. Pascual cursed Pintas.

Aurora gave Jezabel hell, saying she has no right to call a meeting. Jezabel did the usual narcissistic thing of accusing her of her own sins, then told her she gave her shares to Demon who is now vice president.
[DS] Demon pocketed his cell, telling Antonio that Helena is at the hospital with Cassandra. He made sarcastic comments about Helena's goodness and generosity. Demon asked him why women are all alike, so complicated. Antonio said they have the goodness of God and then changed the subject. He asked Demon if he knew that Edgar is a partner in a construction company. Demon's “No!” could not have looked or sounded more fake. Antonio had suspected that he had something to do with him losing a real estate project. And now Edgar is connected to it.
Aurora said that Demon is no longer regional director and where was he when Angel saved the company. Jezabel snubbed that and told her that Demon now has the majority shares and will be back as vice president.
Demon denied current association with Edgar Antonio thought it odd that Edgar would be involved in this when he had no past experience with construction. He was still sure that Demon was behind this. Aurora came in, saying she needed some air. Antonio left with her. As they left the room Demon made a gesture of contempt and looked at Miguel's photo. [/DS]

Helena arrived (same footage as previous episode).
Jezabel told Demon he is more like her father every day. He began condemning her and Aurora as emotional. She pulled out the most popular toxic parent line about sacrifice for his benefit. He told her that Aurora and Antonio were together again. He said they talked about modern couples and divorce. At his mention of Pintas she threw his drink across the room. She became paranoid that h had bugged her phone. He laughed and the next round of Power Play began. He told her he won't put up with this anymore. He walked out telling her about Edgar.
[DS] Who was with Pintas. He was more than a little down in the mouth about losing the baby and Cassandra. Pintas told him “You're young. You can have another son. I am going to recover mine.” Edgar looked up. [/DS]
Maggie and Helena talked about Aquiles, Esperanza, and Pepe. Angel arrived and talked about the divorce.
[DS] Demon visited Edgar's office, telling Linette that Edgar is a lousy administrator. She said they were reorganizing. He started coming on to her, and they began kissing.[/DS]
JC did not betray confidentiality. His wedding to Briana would be soon. She wished them well. Aquiles and Glorio joined him as she walked away.
Morning
[DS] Aurora and Angel arrived at the office and headed for the conference room. Demon was in the conference room but JC had not yet arrived. Aurora and Angel went into her office. [/DS]
Patricia was at Pintas'. Vampi made something that passed for coffee. Patricia refused it and told him to get out of her sight. Pintas sat on the couch next to her and began perving on her [made worse by his smoking]. She said he owed her money for putting him in the bar as a partner. He was not going to pay especially since Jezabel paid him for everything he ever did for her.
[DS] All of Antonio's accounts are now frozen. [/DS]
Helena signed the divorce petition in JC's office. JC explained he heard rumors that Demon and Briana had done the deed. She asked if he had seen them and he flashed back to the time he walked in on them in Demon's office.
Angel and Aurora met Jezabel and Demon in the conference room. Aurora informed them that Angel was now CEO.
JC told Helena he saw Demon and Briana together. He had not told her then because he had no proof. He was now telling her so that Demon could not manipulate her. Angel mentioned the financial plan he and his mentors developed and Demon dismissed it out of hand. He accused Aurora of nepotism which Aurora said that his mother did that first. Angel reminded Demon that Aurora is company president. Also that while he isn't dressed for a meeting at the moment it takes more than that to sign contracts.
[DS] Antonio was being audited but his secretary had not been able to get JC on the phone. [/DS]
Pintas told Patricia he had a younger woman. Vampi recorded this, He gave her a pittance and a kiss-off. After she left Vampi said she was dangerous and he needed to be careful.
Angel and Aurora went into his office. She was confident that this was the right decision. However she was concerned about the absence of JC and Antonio.
Demon told Jezabel that Aurora still won. He had read the plan Angel came up with and it was good. Jezabel dismissed this as being the work of Antonio and JC. Demon mentioned Helena which set Jezabel off about her “interference.” Demon was fed up and wanted to leave but Jezabel blamed him for being obsessed with “that stupid blonde.” She told him once again that Helena did not love him. He told her “She is mine! Mine! Nobody else's.”
[DS] Angel told Aurora about Helena filing for divorce. He had heard this at the hospital. She had not told him herself. Aurora then told him that if she didn't tell him herself he was not to interfere. Pascual was keeping an eye out and wondering why Edgar was involved in all this and what about Pintas. Patricia shook her head and rose to leave. Angel, Aurora, and Briana arrived and Pascual told them that Edgar was the one who had evicted them.
[DS] Antonio said that JC was mistaken in thinking tat his and Aurora's love was a thing of the past. JC responded that Antonio had been a coward for abandoning her, which finally provoked Antonio to hit him hard enough to almost knock him over. To JC's credit he did not respond in kind, but with a laugh and a typical upscale insult. Antonio paused.
Nobody believed that Edgar was involved in this, as he had no motive. Patricia dismissed this as “one of your lapses” and left. Angel then realized that perhaps Edgar was just following orders from Demon.
Antonio left JC's office, telling him to accept the situation. JC called him a corrupt opportunist and had two security personnel to hold him back. Antonio left. [/DS]
Helena entered Demon's office and handed him th divorce petition. She said she was giving him a copy before the official notification. He looked at it and asked “It's a joke, isn't it?” She said “ No. I am divorcing you.”
[DS] Aurora was still reluctant to believe that Demon would do such a thing. Briana said that Demon would do anything to keep Angel away from Helena. Pascual asked her to help him with the tortillas and she complied. They left the house and Angel explained the eviction situation to Aurora. It happened while he was at Esperanza's place and Demon was hovering around. He realized that Demon had played them with the new house only to take it away when Vicki died. “Demon is a desgraciado.” [/DS]
Demon tore up the divorce petition and threw insults at Helena, calling her crazy. She told him she knew damn well what she was doing. He said she can't divorce him alone for foolishness over a cell phone. She answered that it was his aggression and his attempt at control. She wanted out before this got worse. “This marriage is over.”
Pascual showed Pintas' note to Briana, telling her she was not to tell anyone, especially Angel. He needs to find a way to get Pintas to leave Angel alone. [She is not the right person for this].
[DS] Edgar and Elvia ate sushi in his office. She asked if he knew he would have issues with the police for hiding a criminal named Juventino Macias. “And more if he's your partner.” He disavowed any knowledge of him, saying his partner's name is Macario Mercado and his job wasn't to investigate or be a snitch. “If you see Juventino here and turn him in I won't stop you. But, I don't recommend it. It could affect your credibility as an investigator. Unless you work exclusively for me as my personal detective.” [/DS]
Demon tried the love-bombing again, but to no avail. He then went on about her “failures” – including that she would not obey him – finishing with “You are sick!” “No, Demon, it's you who is sick. You tried to make me a prisoner and isolated from everything. What do you call that?” “Love! Protection!” “That is not love.” He slammed something on the desk. He accused her of selfishness, disloyalty, and lying in the marriage vows, claiming he was the opposite “Until death do us part.” “That's what I want to avoid,” she said “That death will separate us.”

Angel's paternity is too big a deal to not resolve. We are at the point where it has to come to light. If Antonio is his father then he can't be Helena's father.
Who is responsible for Antonio's current problem? I have to think it's Demon. He has the biggest motive to hurt him in the bank account. Elvia would lose everything if she did this and was discovered.
Sushi with Edgar looked like a verbal chess game. I think he knows all of Pintas' aliases now but maybe not all of his crimes. I think his plan is to use him in revenge against Jezabel and make sure he gets caught or killed before he can talk. I doubt he is willing to pay him half his profits from the bar and the brothel. He probably sees Elvia somewhere in that plan.

Angel/Aurora #107 &108. You are my recap hero, Urban. What a lot of extra work and all for us readers! Patricia is pretty disgusting--blackmailing her own daughter! Edgar thinks it's all about himself, including Cassandra's miscarriage. Sure, someone would just put an envelope addressed to himself on the table and not look at what was inside. I am glad that Helena is (finally) divorcing Demian. She's right. His controlling is dangerous.
