Monday, pt. 1 of 3, Nueva Etapa
.
Sultana Seher dies. QEPD.
.
Two days later, the house is in a bit chaos. A new family picture is being hung but the family is arguing about her last wishes and whether they should comply or not. Apparently, she wanted a party with her casket? Devin offers to push back the henna party for Yagmur but Nedret won’t do that to her or Bedri. So parties all around!
.
The musicians show up and no one looks like they are enjoying the fiesta. They finish and Nedret asks Asuman to fix them up some grub. While everyone is together, Devin announces they have something they want to tell everyone. They let everyone know that it’s a high-risk pregnancy and birth, due to the shooting. There is a treatment but it’s a risk to the baby. Seems to be a problem with her lungs that will get worse as she gets larger and that could affect the lungs.
.
Meanwhile, in a happier place, Yagmur comes to see Bedri and his formerly discount lads who are now on the side of good, so I’ll cut them some slack. But maybe Isko and Turgut could mentor them? Yagmur is saying stuff to Bedri that I missed, Bedri has nice flirty things to say to Yagmur, and then she takes her leave.
.
Back to the house of doom. Aslan is telling everyone that Devin will need to be stress-free and be treated like a baby herself. Devin does not immediately kill him, but suggests that he’s exaggerating even if it’ll be hard.
.
Ceyrek is with Babur the Albanian. Babur isn’t impressed with Ceynak’s trick at the gravesite with Cihan and tells him so.
.
Speaking of, Cihan takes Aslan aside to talk to him “speaking of stress”. Cihan tells Aslan that Ferman/Ceyrek is still alive because he couldn’t kill the guy. No mention that it was partly because of the cat.
.
Ceyrek is getting a talking to by Babur who is demanding his money. I think he takes something as he leaves. Ceyrek asks Mama Kismet if the money is there. She says it is, and he explains that he doesn’t trust that guy. What’s that saying about laying down with dogs? Except dogs are good and these people suck. So never mind.
.
Aslan yells at Cihan about the still-alive Fermin/Ceyrek. Cihan says he heard yelling at Ilyas in another language and Aslan realizes they are working with The Albanian. He mentions the danger of that guy while Devin listens at the door. Aslan says he’ll handle it now since Cihan couldn’t, but Cihan says no. He’ll get it done right this time and asks Aslan to trust him. Aslan does but I think he wants Iskoc to go with? But at least they’re brothers again, so yay?
.
When Aslan leaves the kitchen, he is confronted by Devin about all this. (So the whole “no stress” thing lasted about two minutes). They argue a bit, she will handle something by herself, he orders her to not, and she naturally ignores him. They really are a cute couple.

Monday, pt. 2 of 3
.
Aslan has beamed to Isko and Turgut, or beamed them in, to order them to work with Cihan on the Fermin situation. Turgut says something about pretending Devin is 20 weeks along instead of nine and I hope someone understood that because I missed it. As the Lads leave, one of them points out that if they had done what Cihan had….
.
Now we’re at the henna party, which actually looks like a real party! Except that Devin is talking to Nedret and Hulya about the situation. Everyone else is dancing. Hulya tells Devin that she talked to Kiymet and told her not to shed anymore blood now that Ilyas is dead, but I think was a bit of a lie. Pretty sure there was some threats there by Hulya that she didn’t fess up to. And she mentioned C/F calling Kiymet his “mother”. And suddenly (thank you editors) the three of them are dancing, or bouncing a little to the music, but also still talking about Kiyment and handling things themselves.
.
Bedri is hanging with his crew who have brought him prostitutes for his bachelor party. Bedri is angry because he’s not that kind of guy (anymore). These boys definitely need mentoring by Iskoc. But then a guy comes in, and they ask if he’s the taxi driver. He’s like, “yea, I’m the taxi driver” in a way that you know he is in no way the taxi driver. A couple other guys enter with bats (or whatever sticks Turks use instead of baseball bats) and smash some things and maybe a guy or two, put a sack over Bedri’s head, and drag him out.
.
Aslan and Lads get to the marina, notice something at Bedri’s place, and go check it out. They find out that Bedri has been taken. Turgut helps the injured boy.
.
Back at the henna party, Asuman is taking charge of the ceremony. Yagmur looks amazing in a fancy red dress with lots of gold trimming. The ceremony starts with a veil put over her head.
.
But her bridegroom is being dragged out a van and meets Babur.
.
Some of the ladies are dancing around Yagmur and she’s about to cry. It doesn’t look like happy tears. She looks over at her mother, who doesn’t look as excited as everyone else, and this doesn’t help Yagmur. We hear dramatic music instead of the happy music that would be playing at the party.
.
Bedri is on his knees while Babur points a gun at his head.
.
Yagmur starts to cry for real as we hear Bedri’s heavy breathing.
.
Babur calls Aslan and lets him watch the live show. Babur counts down 3…2… while Aslan and Lads watch with baited breath…1…and…nothing. Babur tells Bedri to be smarter next time and he’ll pay with his legs this time. In other words, he has to walk home. They leave him. I’m not sure yet is Aslan knows where he is to go get him.
.
Babur the Albanian didn’t even let Bedri take his shoes. He’s walking along a road in his socks trying to get a ride and no one stops for him. He yells at them when they drive by. Someone finally stops for him (I wouldn’t have) and he gets a lift. Then he’s back with Aslan and both crews, yelling at his for bringing the girls in and about his poor feet. They notice that Babur is holding something of Ilyas’s, and they have proof that Babur is working with Ferman or whatever his name is and Kiymet. Bedri wants to take care of this but Aslan forbids it because he’s getting married.

Monday, pt. 3 of 3
.
Aslan tells Iskoc to look for Babur, but in the next scene, Isko is telling him that they’ve looked everywhere and can’t find him. Aslan gives him orders and he greets the women (Devin, Hulya, Nedret) as he leaves. They are planning something for Kiymet but as soon as Aslan comes near, they pretend to be talking about something else. He demands that they not do anything and they agree, don’t be silly, etc. When the older women leave, Aslan tells Devin to really not do anything. He knows his wife, but she assures him everything is fine.
.
The women are shopping and chipping at each other as per usual, but without the deep hatred they used to have for each other. It’s a funny conversation but I can’t type it all. There was something Nedret says to Hulya like, “if you got everything she wanted, I’d have a mustache”. It’s cute. In the end, Nedret is going to spoil her only son and daughter-in-law and buy them whatever they want. But I think Asuman is doing all the work. (We don’t even see those two kids. Hopefully they are at the therapist because they are going to need help in this family, especially with a wedding coming up).
.
Aslan and Devin are somewhere (???) that looks like a resort. A woman asks them if they are pregnant and before Devin can answer, Aslan says 19 weeks! But shhh don’t tell because they are there a week early. (I still don’t know what’s happening and why she has to be 20 weeks along to be there).
.
And now we see Yagmur! She’s looking for a wedding dress while Nese looks for dresses too. But she says she’s just browsing. Hulya offers for Nedret to buy it for her because Nedret doesn’t care about money and would be happy to buy Nese whatever she wants. Nese later has a stack of dresses at the cashiers and asks Nedret “cash or card”? Nedret doesn’t quite roll her eyes but says card. Asuman goes over with the card and thanks Nese for spending all their money. Hulya tells Nedret she’s so generous and Nedret a bit sarcastically says “You don’t say”. (All these shopping scenes are funny, especially after the last few shows, and you’ll have to watch if you can).
.
Aslan is blathering to the woman about genes of Devin, her sister and mother could be models, etc., while Devin is telling him to shut it. The couple he’s talking to finally get to leave, which might have been the point of all that from him.
.
Yagmur finds a dress! Bedri shows up as Yagmur is gong back to change out of it. He is told he shouldn’t be there and he doesn’t get why there are so many rules. (He’s not wrong).
.
Devin tells Aslan that was the worst lie and Aslan tells Devin to stick her belly out of something to look like she’s 19 weeks along. He’s carping at her to eat and there is something about a maternity camp? What?
.
Yagmur comes out in the dress, rules be darned, and she and Bedri talk. She also notes that she’s never seen him with sneakers on but his shoes are at the cobblers. There is talk about the number of guests. Nese makes a comment about limiting the guests because she doesn’t want to have to wear a bulletproof vest over her dress. Ha! And actually, the rest of them laugh (which they shouldn’t do!) But Bedri gets a call and Yagmur asks about it. She doesn’t want any more trouble before the wedding. Is anything wrong? And he actually says yes. But that’s where we end things so we don't yet know if he's going to be honest with her. Wouldn't that be a nice change?
.
I like all the Family better now that all their arguments are done with love. As long as they don't bring back that horrible table with the name tags.
.

"VENGANZA" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION
Kat in SC: Looking forward to seeing your recap of last night's episode.

Fam2

K, I usually watch this later on Mondays as I'm doing a 9 p.m. Univision recap. But I just have to compliment you again on your writing style. You have a real gift and honestly I prefer reading your recaps to actually watching the show! Looking forward to the shopping scenes. At least the lung issue being a potential issue in late pregnancy makes total logical medical sense. I can't believe I just typed that! A TN with a logical medical explanation doesn't usually go hand in hand.

fam2
K, I saw your message about the missing part 2 and retrieved it. Normally, it winds up where it should be, but this time it wound up AFTER part 3. I can't fix that. I've deleted your messages about the missing part.

Thanks very much, K, for another delightful recap!

Yes, Bedri definitely did have "nice flirty things" to say to Yagmur. The one I liked best was when she asked him about the Bachelor Party, and he replies "I stopped being a bachelor the moment I saw you."

The bachelor party itself turns out to be a disaster. Bedri's so-called "friends" bring in three prostitutes, which Bedri didn't want, and right behind them come some of Babur's thugs, who take Bedri hostage, cover his head with a black hood, and drag him off. I started feeling very nervous.

For some reason, Aslan and Devin go to some Marriage Camp, which apparently helps couples where the woman is at least 20 weeks pregnant. I'm not sure whose idea it was for AsDev to want to go, but it was probably Aslan's, since Devin would have known that she was not eligible, since she was only 9 weeks pregnant. Aslan is at his most insufferable, insisting that she pretend she's 20 weeks pregnant (well, 19), and making all kinds of outlandish statements to another couple about her genes. Arrgh.

It turns out that the henna party is taking place while Bedri is being threatened by Babur with death. So of course we get another telenovela/dizi trope about how the woman can sense when something bad is happening to her beloved. Yagmur is crying, and the closer Bedri gets to being shot, the harder she cries. Perhaps in sisterly solidarity, Devin too is teary.

When Babur indicates that this time only Bedri's legs will suffer, I actually thought Babur was planning to have him shot in the legs.

I was rather suprised at the end of the episode, when Bedri gets a call and admits to Yagmur that yes, something is wrong. I can't imagine blowhard Aslan ever making a similar admission to Devin.

*Brenda refuses to sign the papers giving authorization to Gabriel to run her father's company. She wants to honor her father's wishes to never let a Del Pino have anything to do with his company. She will think about Fernanda's offer. Gabriel cries crocodile tears that she doesn't believe in him but she stands firm in her decision.
*Ana and Claudia talk about Joseph. Also Fernanda, the source of all Ana's problems. She wants to kill her still.
*Tania tries to reassure Alfonso that his wound is ok.
*Marcelo is definitely interested in Brenda from what he knows of her, but she is married.
*Fernanda wants Roberto to make an anonymous call about the illegal sand used in the Pompano Beach construction ang get the project shut down
*Paty wrangles an invitation into the main house with Alfredo.
*Ignacio loves Claudia is how Marcelo diagnoses his infatuation.
*Roberto tries to put the moves on Fernanda but she shoots him down. I only used you to get at Elisa.
*Claudia talks with Brenda who is alone at breakfast offering her condolences. She has been to church and lit some candles for them. Then she asks, if anything happens to you who inherits? Brenda looks pensive.
*Paty is gushing to Ana about how in love she is with her papa and he has asked her to move in. Ana is disdainful. But she says I won't interfere if you help me get rid of Fernanda ( kill her?)
*Marcelo and Francisco talk business as the cassette player plays more ranchero music as they eat breakfast.
*Claudia warns Brenda to be careful.
*Brenda confides in Moni that she is afraid. She wonders about Gabriel insisting they not get divorced.
*Fernanda, Gabriel and Alfredo discuss business and office space. She wants the charity school shut down or run with their money, not hers ( to stick it up Elisa).
*Mirna encourages Tania to cut off any life with Alfonso and leave.
* Now Alfredo would like to eliminate Fernanda since she is taking half his company and house and has reported the contraband sand used to the authorities. Gabriel tries him in, you promised no more deaths, there have been too many around us it will start to look suspicious.
*Roberto and Fernanda discuss business at the office. Francisco blazes in. I know you are the one that reported the contraband building sand.

K, I love your snappy style . It makes some of the grimness and violence more tolerable.
I have watched quite a few dizis,, and my favorite, scenes are the ones of the bridal showers. There is always lots of dancing by young and old, rich and poor . Red is the featured color . Yagmur''s gown was gorgeous . When the women circle the bride in the red veil , she is supposed to cry to show that she is sad to leave her family . The richer vibe folks, the more elaborate the celebration , but is always joyful ad full dancing to a hypnotic beat.

The scenes of Yagmur shopping for her bridal gown displayed Nese making it all about her by taking advantage of Her Rey's generosity by buying clothes for herself.

Has anyone kept track of how many times Berri has had a black bag put over hos head and kidnapped ? When the bag is removed , Bedri never has a hair out of place. Susan

Thanks, K, for another entertaining recap as we head into the final week!

Looks like Aslan hung the engagement night photo. Cihan kept staring at it. Where is Leyla? Did she leave town with the kids?

Cihan did mention the cat. And he said the bad guys were speaking Spanish (!) and some foreign language. You can’t fool us Telemundo, this is a dizi, not a TN.

I think Aslan booked that maternity camp just to keep Devin in his sights and out of trouble. Aslan’s behavior is so inappropriate. I don’t know how long that camp lasts. Just long enough to get rid of Ceyrek and the Albanians.

Anyone interested in henna night/kına gecesi:
(You only need to read the top portion and the lyrics to the song.)

https://folkdancefootnotes.org/culture/special-occasions/henna-night-kina-gecesi-a-favorite-of-turkish-brides/

Nese spent 394,000 TL. That woman has no shame.

fam2

Thanks so much, K! Yes, we needed your humor last night. This show is starting to seem like Whack-a-Mole. No sooner do they get rid of Ilyas than that delusional creep Ceyrek resumes the vendetta. And we also have the grinning Albanian who I can't stand.

I believe Aslan mentioned that Devin might also have heart problems from, I think, her uterus pushing her lungs which would then push her heart, causing it to struggle. Yikes!

I laughed out loud at "cutting the second-rate guys some slack since they've turned good". But I don't think they'd be in the same class as the Three Amigos if they lived to be middle aged. You sort of can't blame them for hiring the hookers. They saw Bedri do it before. As you said, K., he doesn't do that (anymore).

Babur took one of what the translations calls rosaries, but I believe are Muslim prayer beads. There was a display of several. Hard to believe they were Ilyas' beads. He didn't look like a guy who spent much time in prayer.

It would have been better if Devin had NOT eavesdropped. And, yes, that's why Aslan wants her in that "maternity camp", to keep her out of harm's way. It was pretty funny the way he was trying to convince the other couple that her pregnancy wasn't showing because she comes from a family of high fashion models, i.e. skinny.

Ay, Nese! Hulya was trying to run up the bill on Nedret as a way of getting her digs in after Nedret said something about being comfortably well off. Anyone with good sense would have seen what was going on and politely refused any clothing.

ITA, Juanita, about the "trope" of Yagmur sensing Bedri is in danger. It's really tired.

fam2

novelera, Babur took a “tesbih” that belonged to Ilyas. It’s the Islamic equivalent of a Christian rosary, to aid in prayer. Otherwise, it’s the old school, tough guys, mafiosi, carrying/swinging them around in dizis. A macho, status thing.

fam2

Gracias, K. I laughed all the way. Devin does not immediately kill him [Aslan],.." -- made me smile.

I do believe Aslan would prefer to be a comic. I did laugh when he told the pregnant couple that Devin and her kin were like models who don't gain weight with pregnancy. I also enjoyed the Devin-Nedret-Hulya alliance versus Aslan thinking he's keeping the Ceyrek problem to himself.

Yagmur was stunning in the gown at the henna party. I like her wedding gown too, simple but classy. It'll be even better with jewelry and a bouncy upsweep hairdo. I thought there'd be henna painting at the henna party though.

Ceyrek is an annoying little p****. I'm hoping Kiymet tires of him herself and whacks him. She didn't seem to care for him asking about how much money is left and where it is.

fam2

K, thanks for the fun recap. The humor in the show keeps it from being a grim shoot 'em up.
Yagmur red dress was beautiful. I liked it more than I did her wedding dress.
Seems to me that Babur hangs out at his gym all the time, so how come Aslan's guys couldn't find him?

Bedri only has one pair of shoes and he had to wear sneakers when Yagmur saw him? Strange.

This new and improved Hulya is a bit hard to believe, but a welcome change.

I'm hoping Aslan and all have good endings this final week, but that would be unusual for a non-comedy dizi. Fingers crossed!

What I gleaned from the medical condition of Devin, with the aid of English translation in the captions is : her lungs were damaged because of the gunshot. The pregnancy will add stress to her body and the lungs have to work harder during a pregnancy. Any treatment to improve the lungs may harm the baby. In turn, because the body isn't receiving enough O2 the heart may become damaged from insufficient oxygen putting her and the babies life in peril. In my limited medical knowledge of people with lung problems oxygen is usually prescribed. Also to increase lung function respiratory therapy would have her blowing in a tube to make a ball rise and strengthen the lungs. Also I would expect the doctors to recommend an early delivery of the baby at 7 months or earlier, if required, to save both their lives.

#74 - El Dinero es el Anzuelo (bait)

Part 1 of 3

Looks like the Soykan men lie to their wives and/or fiancées all the time. Bedri is planning some revenge but leaves Yagmur and goes into another room to arrange it.

We see another plot unfolding. Hulya and Nedret are going to visit Kiymet.

Back to the Maternity Camp. As the session unfolds, I realize that I was mistaken. The pregnant women aren’t meant to stay there and give birth. It’s training in how to care for their infants. Oddly enough, a man is the teacher. I’m cutting the length of my recapping chores a lot by saying simply that Aslan behaves outrageously. He disagrees with what the “instructor” says and talks throughout. Devin is frustrated but, as usual, lets him get away with it.

Hulya and Nedret are with Kiymet. Both threaten her in different ways. While watching, I’m surprised Ceyrek has the gall to be in the room to listen to this, but later it all adds up. Hulya calls him an immature idiot. Nedret levels a stare at Kiymet and tells her that, if she keeps this up, she’ll be in the path of an avalanche that will crush her branches and then her roots will burn.

Kiymet says that she still has power, lots of armed men, and, inside her house she has enough money to buy both Nedret and Hulya. Ceyrek looks furious at this. Loose lips, etc. Nedret tells Kiymet that her mattress is comfortable, but so is a coffin and they are underground. Kiymet looks scared, for once.

A guy comes to the boxing club and gets Babur’s nephew to come outside for a delivery. The truck that awaits is full of hired thugs. Inside the gym Bedri beats on the guys’ feet to get them to say Ferman is paying. Bedri leaves Babur’s nephew with the stick used to beat them. Parting words from Bedri: “Give this to your uncle. He’ll know what to do with it. I’d advise you to lubricate.”

Ceyrek looks unhinged. He grabs a car and chases down Nedret and Hulya’s car. He passes and then cuts them off. He orders them out of the car and says they’ll end up in coffins instead. He raises his pistol. Just then the trap is sprung. Cihan grabs him, throws him down and administers some nice kicks to the kidneys.

Iskoc and Turgut show up. They wonder how the ladies got involved. Then we see that Devin was the mastermind. At the henna party she danced and spoke with Hulya and Nedret. Hulya tells Iskoc not to tell on them (to Aslan). Cihan tells Hulya that she did great work. He says to call him once in a while. There’s a pause. He starts to turn away, and then she tells him to take care and calls him hijo. He’s obviously moved.

At the Maternity Camp both Aslan and Devin get texts about the capture of Ceyrek. Both lie and say it was a work thing.

#74 - El Dinero es el Anzuelo (bait)

Part 2 of 3

When Aslan arrives at what looks like a commercial laundry, the Three Amigos, plus Cihan, tell Aslan that Ceyrek won’t talk, mostly because he believes they’ll kill him once they know where to find Babur.

Devin appears when Aslan tries to find out what they’re hiding.

Bedri brings a box of printed invitations to his wedding to Yagmur. Nedret, Hulya and Nese are there. Nese starts ranting about wanting an intimate ceremony. Later we see her come up with a list of Soykan wedding disasters on her phone. Bedri tries to comfort her saying he’ll hire a bunch more guards and have some ambulances at the ready as well!

Devin says she’ll try to talk with Ceyrek. Turgut bears witness that Devin can be more effective than hours of beating. Turgut makes Cihan laugh comparing Devin’s expertise to the CIA or the FBI.

Ceyrek plays tough, but Devin tells him he’s scared. She says that Cihan told her about his being abandoned. She says she feels pity for him. He hates this. He says he burned up his whole family in Sakarya. “Not even a year ago I did that. You don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Aslan’s crew and Devin rehash. Cihan blames himself for buying the “poor little guy” routine. Aslan tasks Iskoc with verifying Ceyrek’s story. [Aslan seems never to have discovered Mr. Google. He delegates.] Aslan asks Devin to find out what makes Ceyrek tick. Later Devin tells Ceyrek that they’ll kill him if he doesn’t reveal Babur’s location. He replies that they will do it anyway. Devin asks if he gave up Ilyas’ location to Cihan. Aslan gets angry and says that, if Ceyrek’s brain were put into a bird, it would fly backwards. Devin leans toward Ceyrek and tells him that, if he wanted to be Ilyas, he’d need to be reborn. “You’re not as cruel, not as astute.” He shouts that he killed them because he’s not normal, because he’s more powerful.

Iskoc tells Aslan what Ceyrek said is true. It happened the day after the eldest son’s wedding. All the jewelry was stolen. It was said there was a younger son who disappeared 15 years ago. Devin gives her diagnosis. Ceyrek has an addiction to power and authority and a bad case of grandiosity. He was ashamed of his family and always sought to ally himself with power. Right now it’s Kiymet. Aslan says that the guy wants to be Ilyas’ successor.

Aslan tells the guys that they’re not to harm him anymore and to bring this sabandija (weasel, cockroach) to him. Cihan and Devin talk. He again blames himself, but she tells him he has a heart full of mercy and compassion.

#74 - El Dinero es el Anzuelo (bait)

Part 3 of 3

Aslan and Cihan talk about guarding Ceyrek. Cihan insists he won’t let him go again. Aslan starts grilling the three amigos, when Devin admits she set up the whole thing.

Cihan sits across from the tied up Ceyrek. Sounding sad and disgusted he says that Ceyrek made him feel sorry for him. He asks where Babur is. No answer.

Aslan gets his family together and rags on them for keeping him in the dark. Hulya asks how they can solve this problem. He replies that Devin figured him out. He lied about everything. He killed his family to steal the wedding gold. We’ll use him against Babur.

We see Cihan appearing to have nodded off across from Ceyrek. Seeing that, Ceyrek slowly eases away. There’s a convenient knife he uses to cut his hands free.

Back to the family meeting. Aslan asks Bedri what happened at the gym. Bedri owns up, but says those guys are angry at Ferman for not having paid them. He asks Hulya and Nedret what happened when they went to see Kiymet. Nedret tells him about there being enough money in the house to buy them both. Devin: “Aha. She keeps her money in the house!”

Aslan talks while we see his plan unfold. They’ll get a message to Babur that the house is full of money. Devin thinks that losing the money would enrage Ferman. We see the guys finding the chests of money, pushing Kiymet aside, and taking all the money.

Ceyrek has freed himself. Cihan pretends to wake up, chase Ceyrek and fire a couple of rounds at the car. The keys were conveniently lying on the table between Ceyrek and Cihan.

At the family gathering, Bedri says that Ferman will go after Babur like un cohete (a rocket).

Ceyrek goes to Kiymet’s house and sees all the empty trunks. Kiymet kind of turns on him and asks where he was and was this HIS plan. He tells her he was betrayed. She seems to worry about him. But he says that nothing ever happens to cockroaches. [Personally, I don't think he should count on that.]

Aslan: “Those two dogs will kill each other.”

We see Ceyrek arrive at Babur’s hideout and sort of sneak peeks. Babur's guys have just driven up with the bed of a pickup crammed with Kiymet’s money. Babur tells his nephew to store it in the cellar. He’s about to turn a corner toward the house when Ceyrek puts a gun to his forehead.

It can’t be this easy. There’s four more episodes. Will there only be weddings, happiness, and a sight of that smiling baby we saw in Devin’s fantasy?

"VENGANZA" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION
Kat in SC: Howdy from the Alamo City. Thanks for your long recap of last night's episode.
191.) Brenda doubling-down in NOT letting Gabriel or Alfredo getting their slimy hands on the Ferrero's company.

192.) I still do NOT think Eugenio is dead & I'm thinking he faked his death once again, just waiting for the opportunity to strike against the del Pino's.

193.) Brenda telling Monica that she's scared: GOOD. You should've been afraid of Gabriel & the bloodthirsty del Pino's a long time ago.

194.) Mirna: give up on Tania because she's a LOST CAUSE. I will NOT feel sorry when Slick Alonso kills Tania.

195.) Crazy Goldie Locks still CRAZY & stirring the pot of chaos. Mooching Roberto is still a mooching welfare king.

196.) Kat in SC & Halimacandy: Claudia's BIG ASS MOUTH will get Brenda killed. You've heard it here first.

197.) Shutting down the charity school is a cutthroat move by Crazy Goldie Locks. With 28 episodes left, the walls are slowly closing in around the devil incarnate.

198.) Paty is getting on my damn nerves: I hope something EVIL happens to her.

199.) I noticed Francisco & Marcelo discussed the cassette player: That cassette player is going to be very critical about Francisco taking down Crazy Goldie Locks once & for all.

200.) Ana wants to recruit Paty's assistance in helping her taking down Crazy Goldie Locks: Good luck with that one, Ana.

201.) Alfredo wants to kill Crazy Goldie Locks ? Maybe after you find out she killed your late wife, Maria Louisa.

202.) Since FL has the death penalty, who will join Crazy Goldie Locks on death row ?

203.) No appearance from Fermin & Erika last night ?
