Micaela chews Mateo out about his real with naive Ximena.
Iñigo is up to something shady with a bearded red headed man. Not sure if he is part of the astral group or a go between. Commissions are mentioned. I igo says he is no longer head if the company but we can get around it somehow I didn't understand.

Nuria is nervous about her new job and what to wear. Ceci gives her advice.

And there Iñigo is calling an investigator to look into Nuria's new boss.

Micaela, in the kitchen, thanks Aitana for helping break things up between Mateo and Ximena. Aitana says Zac told her what was happening, even though he isn't in love with her he doesn't want her hurt. Clem is nodding along but remains silent. Aitana says the worst thing anyone can do is abuse someone, even if they are a Lizarrága. She gets quite irate and Mica and Clem stare at her not knowing what brought that on.

Mateo is in his apartment, which looks like the same building as Larisa lives in,. He puts himself a drink, broods on the couch. He sends Iñigo a text asking if he's spoken with Nuria yet and is he going to help Ximena.

Clem gives Mica some tea, she looks like she needs it. Xime comes in saying she's packed. Clem is motherly and sweet to her, Mica is angry. Thank goodness you didn't get pregnant again. I'll get you some money to pay your bus fare back to your parents. You'll be safe there.

Dr. Mendiola comes to check on Eloisa, asks how's she's feeling. Mal, she says. The Dr asks Aitana to leave so he can speak with Eloisa. He asks what happened. She doesn't want to remember. She had a big fight with Mateo, her closest son. She has no energy and doesn't feel like living anymore.

Xime asks Clem do you also think I'm a fool for wanting a relationship with Mateo. Clem tells her she's an angel that deserves love. She offers her a place to stay at their house if she needs it.

Zac and Aitana walk the grounds discussing Ximena. It was cruel but she will be safe when she leaves town. Aitana noticed that Mateo and Eloisa have a bit of an oedipal relationship. that's why she felt so betrayed and reacted as she did. Aitana keeps rubbing her neck. The strain if the situation got to her, brought back memories of the abuse. Zac gives her a hug.

Belinda is at the stables visiting her pretty dapple gray horse. Gael asks if she was wanting to ride. No, I just wanted to visit him to clear my mind. I like Rolando, but I also like another guy and I don't know what to do. Gael tells her to be honest, it's not right to have two guys in your heart, or something to that effect.

Tomas is home looking for Rolando. He apologizes for the way her reacted about Belinda. It's not her fault her parents abandoned her. They hug and make up. Dad won't share the secret she is adopted. (I didn't realize she was keeping it secret).

Mateo has a flashback from years ago to the curly haired lady, whose name is Gabriela. He is getting too physical with her as she tries to run away and calls for help. She falls to the ground as he chases her in his apartment. She gets back up screaming for help and he punches her in the face. She falls to the ground. End flashback as he sits back down and sips his drink (this actor is doing a great job with this part.).

Luciano and Aitana talk at the foot of the stairs. He asks how mom is doing. She's with the doctor. Good. Aitana asks about Mateo and Ximena. Luciano says this is the first woman he has been interested in and I think he has good intentions towards her. Aitana doesn't want Ximena abused. Luciano thinks Mateo is incapable of abusing anyone. Aitana says it's good of you to believe that if him, I hope you are right.

Negro's henchman has discovered that Belinda is a Lizarrága. He puts 2 and 2 together. Bruno is up to something. He doesn't realize who he's up against, he's written his death sentence.

Luciano continues to reassure Aitana about Mateo. Aitana tells him she has something to tell him. About our relationship he hopes. No, your mother will never accept us together either. He says I'm the only one that decides that. It's about Belinda.

Larisa is at the doctor. He gives her the results if the tests. She looks shocked ( I bet we won't be).

Back to Luciano. Bulimia? He's all set to talk to her about it but Aitana stops him. She needs professional help. Ask the Dr if he has any recommendations for a therapist.

Iñigo walks into Nuria's room. She's cutting tags off some blazer's for her new job. He snidely remarks hopefully your pay will cover the cost. And since you are now an emancipated woman I no longer have to pay your alimony. She says it's low pay because I was out of the workforce for years. He doesn't feel sorry for her.

Aitana asks him not to tell Belinda she told him. He'll say he observed it on his own. He thinks some day she will make a great mother when she has her own child. She softly weeks.
Nuria wants him to hold off for a few months before cutting her off. He says something snide which I didn't catch.

Eloisa is a bit better. Aitana is off to get her new medicine. Micaela is waiting outside to speak with her and Aitana counsels her to listen to what she has to say.
 

Mi verdad #49 part 3

Micaela apologizes for recommending Ximena for the job. Eloisa says she didn't know her place. Micaela agrees but points out Mateo was also guilty, which gets a nod of agreement from Eloisa.

Luciano visits mayor Tomàs, whose last name is a mystery. He tells him he has reason to believe there is a sex ring operating in the town. Tomàs says I looked into the guy, he has no priors. Luciano says they are operating out of the bar in town. My brother Bruno plays poker with him and has seen it in person.

Micaela assures Eloisa that Ximena is going back to her village far away. Eloisa says I'll hire the next help. Mica asks do I still have a job. Eloisa nods yes. She goes.

Ximena calls for a taxi. Mateo has been ignoring her calls etc. she figures he's more devoted to his mother than to her.

Bruno and Luciano talk. He says he told the mayor that Bruno observed the happenings at the cantina but didn't go into details with him. Bruno says Katy is terrified and thinks the authorities are involved. Luciano tells Bruno to stay away from her and the cantina.

Clem counsels Ximena. You two were playing with fire, of course you were going to get burned. I've seen lots of things in my time. Relationships between employers and employees never work. Mateo knocks...

Tomàs meets with Negro. Back off for a bit. How long? And Belinda, your daughter in law. Don't call her that, you can still get her but not yet. Things need to calm down. What about Bruno negro asks. Tomàs will deal with him.

Aitana and Luciano get away. He's made a reservation under his name and his wife's. He tells her that's how I feel about you.

Mateo tells Ximena he's found a job for her close by, he'll take her there. He glares at Clem, don't you tell Mama. She looks at him in concern. Zac walks in and asks where are they going? Big argument that during which Clem just shakes her head. Mateo pulls rank on Zac, Ximena says it's my decision.
You want to marry me Aitana is in shock. Love talk between them that kinda bored me .. she wants to live for now.

Zac says fine. It's your decision. Mateo tells them there better not be any gossip from them or they will suffer the consequences.

Lovemaking between Aitana and Luciano in the hotel room (ff)

Iñigo says you do me a favor and I'll get out from under your feet, keep paying you, it's actually to help Mateo, but will also help you.

Ximena doesn't understand why she can't stay with Mateo. Because Mom will discover it right away. I need time to get her to accept us, and not be cast out of the family.

Luciano and Aitana in the afterglow...

Clem, Juventino, Zac and Gael discuss the Ximena situation. Clem feels like she should tell Micaela. Her sons say go for it, the truth will come out soon anyhow.

Nuria welcomes Ximena to her house for a few days. She is surprised that Ximena and Mateo are a couple. Ximena gushes about how wonderful Mateo is.

Another round of lovemaking. Someone knocks. Luciano puts a sheet around his waist to answer the door and the episode is over .(I bet it's Larisa, but how did she know where he is?).

"She gets back up screaming for help and he punches her in the face. She falls to the ground. End flashback as he sits back down and sips his drink" was harrowing. Mateo is so clearly unbalanced; it is so frustrating that everyone can only stand and watch as Ximena the lamb is brought to slaughter. (I do agree Chris Pazcal is amazing). Yes, Clem should tell Micaela immediately.

Iñigo continues to repulse, doesn't he? FF...

The "mayor" is another cold blooded killer. Things are going to go terribly wrong I fear with not only Bruno, but Rolando in grave danger.

I enjoyed Aitana and Luciano together. I had to laugh though, do people really answer the door wrapped in a bed sheet, especially when they aren't expecting room service?? I agree Kat...I strongly suspect Larisa is waiting on the other side of the door.

Thanks, Kat. Now I know what a dapple gray horse looks like due to your equine expertise. Yes, Tomás and Roland remain without last names. LOL

The bearded red-headed man is the person who arranged the deal with Astral.
Iñigo tells him that he is no longer getting his commission because his family is in control of the decision making and not him any more. They are allowing him to sign the agreement but he really doesn't have any power. Iñigo sees a clear path to the man getting his commission. He wants the man to threaten the family with not making the deal unless Iñigo is returned to his initial position of power. The man insists that is not his job. Iñigo says it is if he wants a commission.

As Nuria moans about Iñigo cutting her off financially before she can earn her own way and pay off her clothing purchase, he tells her she should have thought about that before going against him.

Tomás tells El Negro that, since he is the mayor, he needs to keep his squeaky clean image. He tells him to disappear and let him know where he ends up so he can protect him.

It was an entertaining episode.

Jarifa, I knew you would help on that business part. I didn't think the redhead was part of the Astral group. Thanks for clearing it up that he was a broker for the deal.

I had a dapple gray Arabian who was much whiter. Interesting. Her name was Ebony. I got her as a 15 year old. When she was born she was very dark and her skin color was kind of black. They lighten as they age. The horse in this show doesn't look like an Arab so it may remain on the darker side. He's got very pretty coloring.

Nuria should have shopped at a resale shop and saved her money. I don't think the new boss would have complained about her wardrobe. I don't see how much event planning an automotive group needs. I'm picturing a new car lot but perhaps it's the actual car manufacturer. As usual the business side of the TN is pretty up in the air as to what they do.

Jarifa, thank you for explaining the scene with the red head. I was rather lost there.

So will El Negro go on the lamb?? If so, does that mean Belinda is safe? I doubt it. Also, I was confused as to why the mayor told Rolando he was wrong and didn't have to break up with Belinda (I think that was the night before). I think that was totally insincere.

Definitely feel mayor Tom is lying to his son, Diana. He could be a very dangerous man. I keep wondering if that phone of the cousin Luciano will ever be found and things will go wrong for Aitana and Zac.

The first 20 minutes was the spaceship landing so I will just give a few highlights from what the last 2/3 showed.

Aitana and Luciano apparently continued there romantic getaway undisturbed ny Larisa. Zac called and sent messages trying to track her down like the needy want to be lover he is. Karime even got a call asking if she knew where Aitana was. She fobbed him off saying she went to Mexico City to see her mom who is poorly. Karime called Aitana, who actually picks up her calls, to warn her if the lie she told. Luciano admits he loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

Larisa is pregnant. She drops the bombshell at a family dinner at the ranch which she crashed. She is hitting Luciano up for money for tests. She asks him to pay the doctor directly, which I actually have to admire her for. She could have tried to milk extra money out of him. She of course wants to get back with Luciano, but he tells her he doesn't love her so it's a no go.

There were other things that happened but those were the major points. I'll see if I can catch the start of the show over the weekend.

Somehow, Luciano managed to extricate himself from the bedsheet and put on a robe (as did Aitana) to answer the door. It WAS room service rather than Larisa. That said, her showing up at family dinner time announcing her pregnancy was a bold move. Mama not so dearest was NOT happy, nor was anyone else especially Belinda whom I believe started eating at a good clip.

The Aitana/Luciano "afterglow" was sort of sweet yet silly. Dancing, a boat ride on the aptly named "Aitana"...

Larisa definitely got the last word, looking like the cat that ate the cream.

Thanks Diana for confirming what happened in the beginning. I figured it must have been room service. I won't track down the beginning if it was just afterglow sightseeing stuff.

I did recall that it seems Ximena is just staying with Nuria, not actually being paid, as Nuria told her she didn't need to sweep up. Ximena said she wants to be useful since Nuria is being so nice by letting her stay there.

So Larisa, besides anatomy, gender scans, etc is doing a DNA test. I guess she is pretty confident the baby is Luciano's. It has been a while since she slept with Iñigo. I so hoped it would be his. Even though they are brothers, the percentage would be lowered if it is the baby's uncle rather than father.

Kat, I appreciate your explaining Larisa is doing a DNA test! As you noted, she seems to be certain the baby is Luciano's. I'm thinking the baby is Iñigo's but perhaps that is just wishful thinking.

Nuria is very nice; I think she and Ximena will be a comfort to each other.
