"The Truth Comes to Light"
Notes from the Couch The "Action is Heating Up" edition
1. Hugo talks to Nayeli about the article and wants to know if Vero had anything to do with it. Nayeli knows nothing but volunteers to talk to Vero.
2. Joaquín discovers that Alexa, Flores' daughter, was in the house playing with Meli the day before and concludes that she must have stolen the photo.
3.Iván finally doe something useful at the company and tells the staff to calm down and not believe the "yellow journalism" article about Luis.
4. Kassandra asks Marcos if his sister-in-law works for the magazine that published the article. Marcos says she does but that she never would have leaked that information.
5. Marcos looks for Romina. She is gone. Olga says Romina knows nothing because if she did , she would have told her. Ivan knows Romina is a woman of integrity and is loyal to the company.
6. Vero tries to call Flores but he isn't answering. Joaquín is going to work. He knows that Flores and that Verónica Arellannos are behidn teh hit piece. They are cut from teh same cloth. Flores was even capable of using his own daughter. He tells her to call him with any news or if Diego reappears.
7. Marcos tells Bruno that if they find out that Vero is involced in this, it will go bad for Romina and he cares about that.
8. Kassandra tells everyone to get back to work and to post nothing about the issue on social media.
9. Flores is holding an impromptu celebration complete with champagne to celebrate the publication of his article on Luis Miranda. He wants them to toast to a new era for magazine "Circuito Capital" (Capital Circuit) and they do.
10. Vero arrives and toasts but continues on after they are done. She asks if they are toasting to ripping the memory of a man to sheds? Destroying the lives of his children? Flores answers that he is celebrating free speech no matter how crude it is. She asks if he is celebrating exposing a person's weaknesses to feed peoples' morbid curiosity. He insists it is the context that matters. Luis was a public figure who besieged, lied to and betrayed Joaquín Navarro himself. Vero questions him about ethics and what he is doing to four orphans. Flores answers that he is not telling fairy tales. She tells them all that he even used his own daughter in a despicable act. That isn't journalism but opportunism. He sells human misery. She throws her pass at him and announces that she quits.

13. Hugo arrives on the scene and asks a worker if he can talk to Consuelo and points her out. The worker says that is Vero not Consuelo.
14. Hugo soon gets an explanation. Flores informs her that she cannot talk about ethics when she infiltrated the Miranda household for months now pretending to be domestic help. She gained everyone's trust playing with the affections of the poor orphans. She did it for his article and now she is offended? Hugo steps up and ask her f that is true. Did she lie to Vale? Betraying her and everyone else?

She had to explain the situation to Nayeli when she told her that she and Hugo were novios. He refuses to talk to her but will talk to Nayeli to find out who she really is. He leaves. Vero is desperate.

21. Romina comes back and Olga explains what is going on with the article. Romina says she is going to kill HER and leaves in rush. Nobody knows where she is going.
22. Joaquín goes to see Flores unannounced. He tells him he better be grateful he can control himself rather than punching him out. Flores refuses to deal in those terms and says he didn't lie about a thing. He has his evidence. Joaquín finds him disgusting. He cannot imagine that he had his own daughter take advantage of Meli to steal the photo. Flores says that THEY had no alternative no alternative. Yes, Flores means him and Verónica. Joaquín demands her address and Flores starts to laugh. A secretary gives it to him as Flores laughs some more.
23. Romina goes to Consuelo's wanting to see her sister. Romina confronts Vero in her room asking her how she cold do such a nasty thing as being a part to that article. Vero wants to explain but Romina tells her to shut up. She is sick of her lies. Vero says she would never be capable of hurting the kids What is more, she has quit. Romina doesn't believe her. Consuelo appears and tells Romina she has to believe Veo. Romina is ashamed to be her sister.
24. Joaquín appears at Consuelo's house telling "Verónica" that what she did in that article with Flores is inexcusable. She used her own sister to get close to them. Her boss used his own daughter to steal a photo. Consuelo insists it was all Flores' doing. Joaquín says he word is worth nothing.
25. Romina cannot believe that Vero is hiding in her room letting her aunt take the responsibility for her. She tells her to go out and tell the truth to Joaquín. Vero says she cannot. Romina decides to do it herself then but Vero holds her back. She says it has to do with Vale. That stops Romina i her tracks. What does Vale have to do with this. Vero tells her that Vale is her daughter.
26. Majo tracks Diego down and manages to to change his vile mood wiht some anger releasing activities.
27. Vero exlalins that when heir parents told Romina that she (Vero) was going to go study outside of the city, it was not the truth. They hid her because she was pregnant. Vale is her niece. Romina shakes her head.
28. Consuelo insists that Flores is responsible for the article. She couldn't stop him. Joaquín accuses her of abusing his trust and playing games with him.
29. Nayeli and Hugo show up at Vale's It is evident there is somehting going on between Nayeli and Hugo. Hug is ready to talk and looks serious. Nayeli cuts him off. He tells her to tell Vale then.
30. Romina asks Vale for some clarification. Vero says she cannot tell Joaquín who she is because she is working on getting closer to Vale so eventually she can get her back. Vero needs Romina to trust her. Romina say it is not fair for Consuelo to be attacked. Vero insists she can't do anything.
31. Diego tells Majo he cannot get his head around what came out abut his father. She tells him that all that matters is that his father loved him and he loved his father. His sisters need him. He should go home and hug them. Then, he needs to talk to Joaquín and listen to what he has to say. Majo says she will always be there for him.
32. Consuelo is still insisting she knew nothing. Joaquín is feeling like suing her and her boss. Romina comes out and says he is in his right to do so but first he has to listen to what she has to say.
33. As the pressure mounts for somebody to tell Vale the truth, Nayeli "faints."
34. Romina tells Joaquín that she came to "Vero's" house to find out the truth like he did. She goes on to say they were both wrong. Consuelo had nothing to do with the article. it was all Flores. Consuelo was destroyed by this like everyone else. Consuelo adds that she also quit. Joaquín hopes this is true. Romina assures him it is.
35. Nayeli finally comes to and in no time is heading home with Hugo. On his way out, Hugo tells Vale that he has to talk to her soon.

36. Carmen hopes that the sudden fainting spell that Nayeli had isn't the sign of something else . . . (pregnancy??)
37. Kassandra tells Isaura that Joaquín wants to investigate the woman in the photo with Luis. If Joaquín ever were to discover that Luis NEVER had any gambling debt and that he the reason he took out the loan was so that they would not destroy his family, they would be finished. Kassandra tells her mother she has to be on her game because she is the only "witness" to Luis gambling.
38. When JoaquIn is gone, Vero thanks Romina. Consuelo admits she always knew what happened to Vero. Romina concludes this must be the big secret that Vero had been keeping. Consuelo leaves them to talk.
39. Diego is passing by and has heard part of what Kassandra and Isaura said. He asks them to explain what he heard. Kassandra doesn't know how much he heard. He heard Isaura say that she witnessed his father gambling. He wants the truth!
40. Vero explains to Romina that hey hid her in her aunt's town. When Vale was born their father put her up for adoption Vero sobs as she remembers. Her parents took her baby away from her for "her own good." Their father still says that. Romina asks how she knows that Vale is her daughter. Vero says her mother gave her information on her deathbed. She adds that nobody told Romina because she was only 12 at the time. Romina reminds her that she did grow up. She asked so many times what was going on between her and their father. Vero says she knew that Romina was close to their father and loved him so much. Romina sees that as no excuse for lying to her. Why didn't Vero trust her? Vero apologizes. Romina sees both she and her father responsible for the lying. She then adds her mother to the list. Romina wants to call her father. Vero begs her not to.

Thanks to Rex’s cell-phone surveillance, Franco now knows there’s a twin. Will he put two and two together and get…more than two? It’s easy to overestimate him.
Monique has completely lost her marbles and is bound to up the ante soon. With so many bad guys around, she’s bound to misfire and hit one of them.
I’m wondering if NotSofia’s big plan is to confess to Gina’s murder and then swap back? That would be quite a trick.

Jarifa, thank you for so deftly and artfully guiding us through this shocking, white-knuckle episode. This near implosion was gripping and unrelenting as secrets spewed, some true, some tainted and others, flat out lies. Mind numbing reveals were spilled not only to some of our characters but to viewerville as well.
Loved "Iván finally does something useful at the company..." Finally, he earned a paycheck. Just one perhaps but it's a start. :)

Who knew? Shocking in its cruelty, Isaura and Kassandra's grift was ruthless and insatiably greedy.
If ONLY Vero had chosen to speak up earlier of her own volition! Her world was too small, too connected for her deception not to come out. Cornered, she had no choice but to tell Romina about Vale, leaving her sister shaken to the core by this lie of omission. Her lies and subterfuge of "infiltrating" the household laid bare to Hugo (of all people!); other dominoes certain to fall. And now, Romina and Yaneli, innocent bystanders, have been pulled into the abyss. I cringed as Romina reassured Joaquin that "Vero" had nothing to do with the story, he nodding his head, believing every word. "Romina says it is not fair for Consuelo to be attacked. Vero insists she can't do anything". Really??
So, will Vero come clean with Joaquin before more hell breaks loose? I am now thinking Facundo will reveal not only who "Vero" really is which includes being Vale's mother! Given the resentment Vale already harbors for her mother abandoning her, will she ever be able to forgive Vale for the way she entered her life and betrayed her trust???

It's a Tyrannosaurus Rex car for Rex! How cheesy. Did the end of the show seem choppy to you, like they skipped some scenes. Mia I guess wasn't alone since she brought Candelaria as backup against Monica. I liked Barbie and Canda singing the theme song together. I really think they are trying to make this the younger generations show as they concentrate on their relationships. The slang use is extreme. I finally looked up "neta", one of Barbie's favorite words, and it has so many meanings I'm as confused as ever.
OT Susan, I wasn't part of this community when it had all the comments, but I did watch half of corazon indomible because I liked Daniel Arenas in Mi Marido tiene Familia so I looked for other shows with him. CI was so bad I never gave it enough time to be good. The recaps were way better than the show so I just read them rather than watching it. The character played by Daniel was pretty dumb and clueless, kinda like Franco in this one.

Neta, I totally need a bodyguard. There’s lots of people I’d like to slap. Well, several.
Barb was confronting Moni about all her lies, and Moni told her she was a nasty tacky rich airhead princess and she hated her. She was also heard yammering into her stepdad’s voicemail all, where are you? I thought you loved me! You didn’t leave me enough money! So I guess the body hasn’t been found. (I wonder what the ambulance people said when they got back to the hospital without the patient. “The gunshot wound to the chest wasn’t as bad as it looked, so we all went out for tacos”?)
Ines was once again not forgiven, and she went off after announcing that some day, she would do something to make them proud of her. Did not kill baby = redeemable, I guess.
Aramis was watching and rewatching part of that video, so he is definitely suspicious.
I don’t know why Cande didn’t take Moni’s apple to Cata for chemical analysis, but at least she threw it at her.
I’m not sure what the purpose was of NotSofia launching herself at Gonzo in front of Grecia. Just to wreak more havoc? I did clock the ankle-covering boots. She’d better keep those on.

Thanks Kat, I didn’t get the T-Rex connection either. Also, a good telenovela with David Arenas was SOS Me Estoy Enamorando. It had its drama but was basically a lighter drama. And he was a nice guy again.
I think NotSofia is out to destroy all of them. Seems like she should only be mad at her father, but she wants to hurt them all. I think the best part is that Gonzalo thinks Sofia still loves him.

Jarifa, I am grateful for your wonderful notes from the couch . This episode was full of tense moments as all the lies that Vero told are tumbling out. It's complicated trying to remember who knows what about whom .
I can't stand to watch Flores smile and laugh after hurting so many people , especially those kids. He has no moral compass. I am hoping for a big , heavy anvil for this guy.
Vero is trapped by her lies . I didn't realize or forgot That Vero's mother gave her the information that helped Vero find her daughter . Then, Vero made some very bad decisions as she spun a web of lies even though her intentions were good . susan

The sound was off and the screen "frozen". They aired the first two scenes several times but needn't have bothered as the dialog wasn't audible and the scenes were choppy. Also, something had to have been cut from what I saw. :(

Notes from the Couch . . . "The Tension Keeps Building" edition
1. Vero tells Romina that their father doesn't know she is working a Vale's house. He knows she found her daughter but doesn't know it is her. She doesn't want him around Vale. She strongly asks her not to call him. Romina says that her lies sicken her. Romina concludes that is why she wanted to interview Susana Miranda. Vale says she told Susana the truth and she was going to help her talk to Luis. Romina doesn't know what to believe. Why not talk to Vale? Vero says she tried. She followed Vale one day and heard how much she hated her birth mom because she abandoned her. Romina concludes that meant that Vale hated her. Vero didn't know what to do until she saw that the Miranda household looking for some domestic help. That is when she got the idea to try to get the job. Romina thinks it is all crazy. Vero knows that but it was the only way for her to get closer to her daughter. Romina thinks it is all a web of lies where one lie is worse that another. Vero doesn't know what she is going to do. She begs her sister to swear that she will protect her secret. Vero explains that she only needs time to find the right moment to tell Vale. She will tell Vale everything. Romina is silent. .
2. Aurelio is going to to see Vero. Consuelo tells him NO.
3. Isaura and Kassandra have Diego exactly where they want him. Isaura tells a tale of going to the casino to amuse herself with a friend. She says she always saw his father there. He cannot believe it. Kassandra affirms it is true and yes, the debt was his. When the bank in Miami contacted them, she and Joaquín decided to investigate and discovered that the debt was his father's due to his gambling. Diego refuses to believe it. Isaura says that they would NEVER lie to him about something like that. Kassandra adds that Joaquín kept this from them because he wanted to protect them. He is also is repaying the debt from his own funds so that their inheritance is not affected. Kassandra knows this makes him sad and frustrated but the person to be angry with is the person who wrote the article, not Joaquín. Diego looks down and seems sad as Isaura and Kassandra share a knowing glance with each other.
4. At the park, Nayeli tells Hugo that she doesn't know what happened to her but she feels better. She makes the mistake of thanking him for not telling Vale. He turns to her angrily asking if that is the only thing that matters to her; that he keep their lies a secret: that her mother isn't "Consuelo", that a journalist Vero has been spying in Vale's house to be able to publish that damn article. She denies any of that being true. The real Vero would never do any of that. He asks how is he supposed to know. Is she being friendly with him only to get information about the Miranda household and Navarro business? She denies all of that. She is with him because she loves him. What is more they would never do anything bad to Vale because she . . . He tells her to finish but she refuses. As they argue, she refers to Vero as her "cousin" not her mother and Hugo has to correct her. He asks if she is Vero's daughter.
5. Consuelo makes up a story that Facundo is visiting with Vero so she wants to give them privacy. That is why Aurelio cannot go visit Vero. He is happy hearing that. If only Vero could end up with Facundo and not be tied to the past! She hears somebody selling elotes and gets him to go get some with her.
6. Hugo tells Nayeli she cannot lie to him like she is doing. Sobbing, Nayeli blurts out that Vale is her cousin Vero's daughter. Vale was ripped from Vero's arms when she was born. She has been looking for her forever. She took the job to be near her daughter. Nayeli kept the secret not to hurt her. Hugo has to sit down to ponder that.

8. Nayeli asks Hugo not to tell anything to Vale until he talks to her cousin Vero. Hugo sees Vero as having lied to everyone. Nayeli says that Vero taking the job was the only way to be with her girl that they took from her. Hugo turns on Nayeli for lying to him. How could she? She was fooling him the whole time they have been together. She answers that she couldn't betray her blood, her family. She didn't know how to tell him because she was afraid of losing him. He answers that she did just that; she lost him.She tries to apologize to no avail. He doesn't want her around him now or ever! He gets up and leaves.
8. Carmen tells Joaquín about Nayeli fainting. NO, she hasn't told Consuelo yet. Her line has been busy. He hopes it is nothing serous. She fills him in on the girls. Dani has been trying to keep Meli busy but she knows something is going on. Kassandra comes in and tells him that Diego was back but then left again. She thinks it was her fault. Joaquín asks WHY?
9. Diego has gone to talk to the eternally relaxed Iván who, of course, has a glass of whiskey in his hand. .Diego admits how horrible he has been to Joaquín and the terrible things he has told him. He has only called him a liar since his parents died. He made a gigantic mistake. Iván says there is always time to apologize. His brother is very open to listening to him and his sisters. Diego says if he were him he wouldn't forgive him. Iván says there is no need to punish himself. He lost his parents in such a quick way. Nobody is ready for that. He thinks Diego took it out on Joaquín because he was there and he had to be angry at somebody. Iván advises him to tell Joaquín what he has told him. Diego is worried he will not forgive him.
10. Kassandra informs Joaquín that her mother and she talked to Diego and what they told him. He is okay with that. Iván sends him a text that Diego is with him. Joaquín tells Kassandra that he has been thinking that since they are a family, even Dani and Meli need to know the truth.
11.Hugo appears at Vero's door saying she wanted to talk to him, so here he is.
12. Romina walks into her house with her suitcase and Marcos is eating a plate of watery chilaquiles. He is overjoyed to see her. He kisses her hand She tries his chilaquiles which are horrible. They laugh.
13. In tears, Vero tells Hugo her story and how she was always consumed by thoughts of what her daughter was like, what she was doing, what she looked like. Time passed by and now there is a girl who believes that she abandoned her, she rejected her and that she threw her out like a piece of garbage. That is the cruelest lie in the world. She never wanted to be separated from her. That is why she took the job at the house., to be near her. She needed to see her and know who she was. Hugo says he is Vale's best friend and knows how tough it has been on her thinking that her mother gave her up. Vero loves Vale and is asking Hugo to give her time. He agrees not to tell Vale because that is the best for Vale NOW. Vero thanks him.
14. Nayeli tells Consuelo about her break up with Hugo. She loves him. She lost him like that sock in the clothes dryer that goes around and around but never appears again! (that was the best line of the episode) Consuelo tells her to give it time. Hugo will be back.

Diego says if he were him he wouldn't forgive him. Iván says there is no need to punish himself. He lost his parents in such a quick way. Nobody is ready for that. He thinks Diego took it out on Joaquín because he was there and he had to be angry at somebody. Iván advises him to tell Joaquín what he has told him. Diego is worried he will not forgive him.
10. Kassandra informs Joaquín that her mother and she talked to Diego and what they told him. He is okay with that. Iván sends him a text that Diego is with him. Joaquín tells Kassandra that he has been thinking that since they are a family, even Dani and Meli need to know the truth.
11.Hugo appears at Vero's door saying she wanted to talk to him, so here he is.
12. Romina walks into her house with her suitcase and Marcos is eating a plate of watery chilaquiles. He is overjoyed to see her. He kisses her hand She tries his chilaquiles which are horrible. They laugh.
13. In tears, Vero tells Hugo her story and how she was always consumed by thoughts of what her daughter was like, what she was doing, what she looked like. Time passed by and now there is a girl who believes that she abandoned her, she rejected her and that she threw her out like a piece of garbage. That is the cruelest lie in the world. She never wanted to be separated from her. That is why she took the job at the house., to be near her. She needed to see her and know who she was. Hugo says he is Vale's best friend and knows how tough it has been on her thinking that her mother gave her up. Vero loves Vale and is asking Hugo to give her time. He agrees not to tell Vale because that is the best for Vale NOW. Vero thanks him.
14. Nayeli tells Consuelo about her break up with Hugo. She loves him. She lost him like that sock in the clothes dryer that goes around and around but never appears again! (that was the best line of the episode) Consuelo tells her to give it time. Hugo will be back.

She cannot live without that adrenaline. Joaquín says it doesn't justify what he did but losing his dreams was like losing a part of his life. But from those ashes, his father created something even more important.: a beautiful family. His father loved them more than anything in the world. He dedicated his heart and soul to give them the best. Diego starts to cry. Maybe the gambling was a way for him to try to get that adrenaline rush back. He isn't justifying anything, but we all make mistakes because we all are learning. Diego reminds him that his father sold the designs, betrayed the company and indebted everything Joaquín built. He cheated on is mother. He had a lover. Joaquín never had a hint that any of that was going on. He concludes that you cannot change the past. Thanks Jarifa, I was worn out from all the drama in this episode! The scenes with Joaquin and the children were real tearjerkers. David Zepeda did a wonderful job of conveying his feelings to the children, and the memories of their dad they need to hold on to.
I didn’t realize Vero had told Susana the truth. Either I missed that conversation or forgot about it. I do feel sorry for Vero. Now her dad is madder at her and her sister is mad too. At least Romina saw how her father spoke about his granddaughter, and told him she couldn’t have children. So hopefully he’ll stop asking her for grandchildren.
I feel bad for Nayeli, although in truth Hugo was never really hers to lose. I missed the sock line. That’s a good analogy.

This is the point in the show where you realize how bad the characters are and anxiously await their downfall. I’m hoping Alexa gets what’s coming in the next episode. Although Meli is probably too young and sweet to do anything. I want her to tell the whole school what Alexa did so she can go home and think about why it was wrong. And maybe her dad will at least have a bad feeling because his daughter is hurting.

The breakfast table at the mansion is down to Gonzo , Cata, and Not , but Not invites Franco to join them which makes Gonzo's beady , blue eyes snap.open .
Cata still seems clueless until Franco talks to her at the end . He gets a lot of flashbacks of both Real and NotSofia. His expression lets us know that he is doing some hard math ( Geometry ? Trig? ) The visual usually lets me know what is going on .
Barb continues Home Ec Courses ...Putting dried dishes away .

Who would think of describing a person disappearing to one of those wayward socks a victim of the black holes of clothes dryers? She always makes me smile. I cannot wait until everyone discovers that Luis was set up by Kassandra and her mother. I hope we get to see at least one of them in jail.

The truth HAS leaked and will likely only be contained momentarily. Vero is a smart woman, or so I thought. What on earth is Vero waiting for? This is a golden (and perhaps her only) opportunity to come clean. She is sure to be exposed, and she needs to try to minimize the damage, particularly to Vale and to Joaquin. Given how Vale already feels about her mother, learning the truth from someone else will devastate (and anger) her, possibly to the point of no return.
I could hardly believe my ears when Aurelio coldly and cruelly actually said "That bastard doesn't matter to him." While your "Aurelio...is so filled with self-righteous hatred" is spot on, spewing that venom AND to his two daughters, one of whom is the child's mother was unforgiveable. He is scum and nothing that transpires in his future storyline can atone for that. (If he dies saving Vale, then I might forgive him). Otherwise, nopis.
A serious Hugo had a bit of compassion for Vero, but none for Yaneli. She was obviously distraught and tried to explain. He stared through her with not an ounce of empathy. Actually, I thought he treated her abominably. She is a treasure not a consolation prize and deserves someone who will value her.
I loved "eternally relaxed Ivan". Also, I had to shake my head that not only did Marcos not kiss the ground that Romina was home (however briefly) and start waiting on her hand and foot, but he also started treating her like a server! The man is clueless and thick as a brick.
I have a feeling (and hope) that Meli is going to be able to take care of herself. I may be wrong, but I thought Alexa looked a bit chastised when she saw her.

"Romina still doesn't agree with what Vale is doing. It is a terrible lie and she is pretending to be somebody else. Vero knows all that but at least she gets to be with her". Huh?? The truth HAS leaked and will likely only be contained momentarily. Vero is a smart woman, or so I thought. What on earth is Vero waiting for? This is a golden (and perhaps her only) opportunity to come clean. She is sure to be exposed, and she needs to try to minimize the damage, particularly to Vale and to Joaquin. Given how Vale already feels about her mother, learning the truth from someone else will devastate (and anger) her, possibly to the point of no return.
I could hardly believe my ears when Aurelio coldly and cruelly actually said "That bastard doesn't matter to him." While your "Aurelio...is so filled with self-righteous hatred" is spot on, spewing that venom AND to his two daughters, one of whom is the child's mother was unforgiveable. He is scum and nothing that transpires in his future storyline can atone for that. (If he dies saving Vale, then I might forgive him). Otherwise, nopis.
A serious Hugo had a bit of compassion for Vero, but none for Yaneli. She was obviously distraught and tried to explain. He stared through her with not an ounce of empathy. Actually, I thought he treated her abominably. She is a treasure not a consolation prize and deserves someone who will value her.
I loved "eternally relaxed Ivan". Also, I had to shake my head that not only did Marcos not kiss the ground that Romina was home (however briefly) and start waiting on her hand and foot, but he also started treating her like a server! The man is clueless and thick as a brick.
I have a feeling (and hope) that Meli is going to be able to take care of herself. I may be wrong, but I thought Alexa looked a bit chastised when she saw her.

* Franco overhears the convo between Aramis & Vic via Rex's phone. Vic assures Aramis that he did all the research, and that Sofia's twin is no more. He even produces a death certificate for an unnamed baby with two deformed feet.
* To distract Aramis so the kids can escape, Franco calls and tells him Sofia has disappeared and turned off her locator. Aramis runs out, followed by Vic, who has to run back and grab his phone -- he sees Rex & Carlo and demands to know how long they've been there. Apparently they tell him they're novios and just sneaking in for a little hanky-panky, and he tells them to use protection and runs off again.
* NotSofia and Grecia toss Gonzo out so they can have a woman-to-woman talk, which for Not means eating cookies with caramel sauce and for Grecia means asking QTF is going on. Not is appalled to realize Grecia doesn't find all this funny and warns her not to get attached to Gonzo, who is expendable.
* Franco consults with Rex & Carlo when they get back to the house, and they try to figure out the twin thing. Unfortunately Franco's big idea is a DNA test. Doesn't he know identical twins have the same DNA? (Sigh. We had such high hopes for him. What he needs is fingerprints...)
* In the vecindad: Bolero & Marisol get engaged; Barb & Chava adopt a random raggedy dog; everybody waits for the bathroom.

Diana, I am happy you enjoyed the recap. We have so many plots going on and still have so many episodes to go. This novela is turning out to be so well written. Looks like we share the same point of view about these characters. Yes, there was plenty of "angst". I hope that Vero realizes quickly that the sooner she tells Joaquín and Vale the truth the better. I noticed Barbie's denim number but I keep missing the grass shirt. It must not be offending my style sense ( denim always catches my eye) that much. Now Grecia is always wearing something bizarre it seems.
I laughed at Vic telling Carlo and Rex to use protection. In his mind either granddaughter counts i think. Did Barbie and Carlo get divorced yet? So are they a couple or just pretending to be one. I'm thinking that a guy gives me a car we are definitely couple.

Not supposedly "saved" Grecia from evil human-trafficking Aramis, but we don't know the details. Would that have happened in Mexico or Argentina? Why doesn't Grecia have an Argentine accent? Who did she steal the Faberge eggs from, anyway? Will we ever know? Do we care?
I won't even ask what job all those senior citizens are doing at the dance studio. The only actual task seems to be putting out snacks, and they're eating all of those themselves.
