Per Univision News --The Final Week of March There Will Be [Scheduling] Changes

[Since everybody's wondering why their recording schedulers are all fouled up and what they should do and since I fouled up the EL info the first time, I managed to find Univision's latest announcement for the upcoming schedule changes online at their site for all our favorite shows.  I have translated it.  I put the English first and others who want to read the Spanish version can below the translation. --ed.]

**This, the final week of March there will be changes:

Univision has a series of interesting changes in the last week of March.  The beautiful but dangerous Teresa arrives and there will be temporary schedule changes in the Prime time TN's.

Mon., 3/28/11 they  will not show Llena de Amor which is in its final weeks.  In its hour will be offered a news Special.  Marianela comes back in her normal  time spot of 7/6c on Tuesday 3/29/11.

Owing to the Mex-Ven Match (9PM/8C) the same night of the 29th, Triunfo will be able to be seen from 9--10:30pm/ 8--9:30C.  The following day, TDA returns to its normal 1 hour time period in the 10PM/9C, Mon-Fri.

At Midnight, there will also be Changes.  During the week of 3/28 through 4/1,  Para Volver A Amar will only be seen two days (Mon. and Wed.) and will return to it's regularly scheduled time on 4/4, Mon.-Fri., at 12am/11PM Central.

Wed., 3/30/11, Prepare yourself to meet the wickedest woman in Telenovelas.  Angelique boyer is Teresa and she awaits you at 9PM/8Central, Mon.-Fri.  Do you dare to ignore her? We don't advise you to do it!

¿Te atreves a ignorarla? No te lo aconsejamos.

Jar, Sorry--I don't understand how they can say they are showing the Mex-Ven match at 9 on the same day as TDA at 9. Is there something we missed? I read the Spanish and the translation is exact.
Newbie-One

Could they mean 7PM Central and the game lasts only an hour? So Eva Luna might be pre-empted? I don't know how or why. Sorry. Let me go back and make sure there's no correction done later in the list of news items.

Teresa is starting on Wednesday? I didn't realize it would be so soon. Not sure if I'll watch or not, but I've always liked Sebastian Rulli...

Thanks Jardinera. I'm confused just watching one evening TN and La Fea at noon. This will definitely help me keep things straight.

And I neglected to add, thanks for the heads-up, Jardinera!

Guys, I did more checking and nobody on the Uni blogs likes the change either, but no other corrections re: the ball game. It could be we may not see the ball game up here or it's just their typo.

According to an older article on the MLS web page the Mexico-Venezuela game is supposed to start at 8pm PDT/11pm EDT on the 29th (if I have my time zones right). So they've apparently typoed on the game's start time, TDA should actually have the correct timeslot as advertised, and there'll be a 30m chunk after that open for whatever (local/national news?).

Jar, thanks for the heads up. I am afraid that next week will be one day at a time for schedule changes!

Is anyone going to recap Teresa?

Rosemary

My cable guide, which usually gets this stuff right, says that for Tuesday:

Triunfo: 8-9:45 Central (9-10:45 Eastern)
Game: Starts at 9:45 (10:45 Eastern)

That makes sense if the game, in real time, starts at 8 PDT, as Bill C says.

OT/Rosemary: I've emailed Melinama about Teresa cuz it came up all of a sudden and caught us all unawares. I may watch it, but I for one couldn't recap it really til Eva Luna is over and I thought Jarocha says Cuando Me Enamore replaces it and I was hoping to help out there. There should be some outlines available to translate the week in advance till we can line somebody up for it and/or we can get a discussion page up at least for the first couple of weeks. I imagine Melinama will put up something this weekend.

An aside of sorts: Eva Luna will end on April 11, as per tonight's avances. Not sure what that will mean for Teresa...someone over at Telenovela World mentioned that somebody at Uni tweeted that they are in fact picking up Cuando Me Enamoro, but my lousy Spanish can't find the actual tweet. :(

So now that it looks like Uni is adding a fourth hour to its line-up of tns, we're going to need a whole new crop of recappers. From Jardinera's post and what Bill has found out, it seems that the lineup will look like this:

From next week till mid-April:
7pm- LLDA
8pm- Eva Luna
9pm- Teresa
10pm- TDA

After mid-April/early May:
7pm- Una Familia con Suerte
8pm- Cuando me Enamoro
9pm- Teresa
10pm- Triunfo del Amor

The news special that's going to be on at 7pm EST on Monday is the President addressing the Hispanic community. I might watch.

Thanks, Jardinera, for the heads up and translation.

I emailed Melinama last Thursday about the schedule change, and she responded that she'd be looking up the new one (Teresa) and posting the synopsis.

Thanks Jardinera and Vivi - finally making some sense out of the splicing, dicing and scheduling that's been going on. Don't like it actually. May be the first time in a long time I'm not tuning into the 7:00 pm slot. They pushed LLena thru for Una Familia? Gees. Cuando is the only one I'm interested in at this point. Was hoping to spend the summer trying to get my language skills better with some shows...oh well.
