The one when Luca spent the whole sunday with baby Luquita

Skipping sunday church services, Anastasia shows up with bambini Luquita in her arms to spend the day with daddy and block him from seeing Patricia. He, who doesn't have enough time during the week to take care of Patricia's needs, will have to spend time with his baby. Things are getting complicated for Luca, who in only one day will have to learn how to change diapers, feed, and burp the three month old italian baby.

It's PSA time and Estrella and Adrián discuss human trafficking and then Mireya Venegas 0ropeza, leaves them alone so they can kiss. The good news is that Adrian will get out in 10 days and the bad news is that he will have to come back to sign every week and stay for the follow up therapy. FOREVER!!

Ernesto, after having a black and white flashback of Tracy mentioning that Ricardo's heart will stop as soon as he sees Kermit's cousin, Filomena, intentionally let it slip to Ricardo that he is in mortal danger, that he is about to die. That is like lighting a match in the dynamite room, and Ricardo immediately drops the cardboard box with all the rag dolls and before he leaves, he asks Ernesto what exactly do you mean? 0h, nothing, just sayin', besides, I already have what I wanted, so I am not harming you in any way...

Esperanza, Patricia, Pedro, talk about
She has fallen from cloud nine, because she thinks she idealized Luca so much that she was blinded and never saw his defects, only his virtues. Sadly, his biggest fault is a 30 something faux blonde with a baby...
Between comments, Esperanza rubs a crystal lamp as if she was asking Aladino three wishes.I already know what it is...

Mario and Viviana share their feelings and suspicions while evil Silvana lurks in the dark overhearing everything and feeding the hatred she has inside. He says that he will have to stay to protect his daughters. I say he could take them with him, but again, who am I to say anything?

After overhearing everything she needs to know, Silvana makes room in her busy schedule of planning how she will get revenge on everybody, and goes to visit la tuerta, now her BFF by default because she hates everybody else on this planet. But everything has a price in this life, and that friendship also costs. Tuerta's friendship and advise is more expensive than the pedagogue and the therapist together. Is Viviana eating your groceries? (slang similar to pedalling your bicycle- meaning that she is cheating with her husband). I got the solution: Kill her of anger playing pranks on her. Here (whispering), this is what you will do...

For the first time in I don't how long, the Gallos eat a decent meal that contains meat.
Tired of rice and beans, barbacoa is for them like mana from the sky. Add another character to the mix: Rebeca, the ''girlfriend'' of Jerónimo, who is perfect in the way that she is single, over 14 and NOT PREGNANT!! I only hope she is not played by Paquita la del Barrio and has another song ready as their love theme. Are you listening useless?
Now back to Silvana. After visiting her new friend La tuerta, who has been in prison for only God knows how long and has lost all grip on reality, surely charged Silvana for this childish advise: take the air of all tires of Viviana's car. And so she does, such evil! Daredevil woman!
When Silvana was in jail, she spent countless nights making plans to get rid of her stupid family who didn't support her stupid antics and now that she have them in the palm of her hand SHE DOES THIS!!!!! C'mon, she should be poisoning everybody or at least adding some laxative to their meals!! For this, I would have asked Pamela instead, I am sure she has better ideas!! And they are GRATIS!
Same character, new storyline
When Ricardo gets home, Andrés is ready to go see his wife. Speaking of wives, Tracy is crazy, surprise? The nanny-o keeps calling Ricardo ''jefe'' even when he is not anymore, but how can we avoid to call him that when he has proven to be so effective and heroic?
He has found two missing girls and there's one more to go. Well, Ricardo replies, when Justice calls, someone has to answer!
Now Rodrigo has switched from la sombra nightmares to his mother nightmares, such a nightmarey boy! And Selena too! That requires therapy!
The knot gets tighter, now Mireya enters Ricardo's circle because guess what? She is also a very famous therapist who saves kids and teens from very difficult crisis that have low self esteem and home problems and need to be rescued as a therapist and counselor more like a firewoman of the psyche and the only one who can save Adrián and the Alegría kids giving them back their sanity.
After Andrés leaves, Ricardo gets a call from Irene, who has an emergency on sunday and tries to lure Ricardo to go to the center and teach them martial arts. Really? Are all the women there so restless after all that coloring and drinking strawberry Cool-aid? You say you can not control them anymore? OK, but can I take the kids so you can take care of them?
New character, new killing plot
Add Dionisio to both the new characters list and the non professional actors one. Yes, that list where we have Chapo, Juan José Origel, Shira, Santiago Pineda, Tae Sae Kang, Mario Discua, Beatriz Ruano, Mara Patricia Castañeda and the rest, that are probably paying to be on screen instead of getting paid for their awful job. Wanna jump around in the palacios patio or be a blurry figure passing by and don't have products to sell? Easy, just give a generous donation and you'll become part of our dream of love.
Outside Ricardo's home, Murillo is watching.
Inside the voyeurist hotel room with the bath tub in the middle of the living room, Kracy and Ernesto, aware of the surveillance cameras around the city, plot to rub La rana Filomena, Kermit's evil cousin, on Ricardo's sheets so he can die in seconds. If that frog is so lethal, why is Kracy leaving the trap door open with no fear that she might jump on her face? After all, is still a frog!! Oh, yeah! I forgot that she is K-R-A-C-Y!! That or being in that little plastic cage for so long has rendered Filomena stiff and now she can not jump.
PSA: Adoption
Mario, Viviana and Salma discuss adoption. Helping is so satisfactory. Viviana already has a list of adoption homes that could find the baby a nice and loving couple. Silvana overhears as always, another kiss interrupted. What, are you doing THIS IN the house where your daughters live? Talking about respect... The donkey talking about ears.

I guess is because is sunday and nobody has anything better to do, Ricardo is teaching the women how to defend themselves when we see enter the building Sandra and Cretina. What are they doing here on sunday? DONT' ask me!!
She shows fake disgust and he tries to get closer to her, so she accepts to wrestle and then she complaints and keeps with her obnoxious attitude towards men. They're all pigs!
She took off her heels, but what she should have taken off was her jeans, GOD! I was afraid her jeans could break, being as tight as they were but thanks God they were body painted.
This is the fakest hate-love relationship I have seen since episode 69! He grabs her and then she screams, Let me go! And since they have this magic/safe word thing, she has to say please. Let me go, you animal! No until you say please! Oh, puhleeeezeeee!
Virotherapy, is the future!
I don't know how long has been, but Esperanza and Patricia still talk about how she sent Luca for a pipe. They get interrupted by Pedro, who just spoiled the end of this tn for me, foreshadowing one of the ''miracles'' that will happen in order to Esperanza to survive stomach cancer. He just ''found out'' some new experimental procedure against cancer called: Reprogrammed virus, where some specific viruses are altered so when they enter the blood flow, they attack the cancer cells and destroys them. Esperanza is very interested and wants to start yesterday! You know her clock is ticking, and I don't mean the biological.
Pedro, foreseeing her behaviour, already signed up for her, now its only matter of acceptance. Hopefully, it is within 3 months or else she will be gone. I wouldn't be surprised, with Esperanza being as salty (salada) as she is that there's no room for her until spring next year! (we call salado/a the person with permanent bad luck).
You got a lot of 'splainin' to do!
Adefesia needs her own spinoff to make everything clear in her life.
Cut to Anastasia and Luca advertising SMINE products, that cover a huge line of items like diapers, talc and baby lotion. Now Anastasia says that the reason she never mentioned the baby in the pre Marjorie season, was not because they just made that up, but because her mother took the baby from her and now that she is dead, the neighbors couldn't keep it and couldn't stand all the crying. Luca needs a DNA test and Maury Povich is not around. The baby threw up. Anastasia almost did. Good thing her mother took care of the baby all this time, because she has no clue.
Let's see... Anastasia is the product of a relationship between a very rich guy owner of plantations and his maid. He doesn't know she exists and she wants him to recognize her as his daughter. Despite all that, she travelled around the globe recording herself having sex with Luca and one year ago got pregnant. After that, she had that affair with Ernesto and Luca broke up. She left for Italy and gave birth over there then came back to see her mother, who took the baby (AGAINST HER WILL) knowing that she was not fit to raise him and then she went back to Italy and then she came back when Viviana wanted to get rid of Pato and payed her good money to interfere with the couple. She claims the baby is just three months ago, meaning that when we first saw her she had just given birth (wow! with that wormy body!), pass the tip!
Please, Virgen de la Paz, take all this confusion from me and clear things up, will you? Thanks! I am sure it's been more than three months since Ricardo arrived looking for la sombra... Only between ''Acapulco'' and the wedding was 1 month!! I need an abacus!
The woman from the house of the stone lions
Thanks to Cristina Vélez valderrama, the very famous specialist in saving schools from very difficult crisis that have low ranking and need to be improved as a teacher and pedagogue more like a firewoman of the education and the only one who can save this school and give it back its reputation, the trend now is having flashbacks in color, so Pato have some of those and some in the old plain black and white.
Viviana is ready to leave when Oh My God! All four tires of her vehicle are down and the prime suspect is Silvana, who 'happens'' to be around to argue and claim that she didn't do it. So funny our names sound alike, we are almost ''tocayas'' Silvana, Viviana, see? Why can't we get along? Maybe because you are childish and I am not?

Erasmo and Kiko are sad because they both love the wrong girls. Kiko thinks is impossible, but Erasmo don't, I'm possible, he says, because his logic comes from the heart, and Gallos think with their hearts. Love is something YOU CAN NOT CONTROL, according to Erasmo, ok, how about controlling yourself and avoid getting involved in yet more stupid things like taking your toddler brother to your job and asking for a loan to the wrong person?
When Viviana gets home, she founds out she have either another grandson or stepson, depending on the DNA results.

Cristina Vélez Valderrama, the firewoman of the education and the only one who can save the school and give it back its reputation, is simply unbearable with Ricardo. From hate to love there's only one step, people say, but they insist that from hate comes even MORE HATE! Sí Chucha! Your fate is written in the stars.
Her excuse is that she has a secret drama going on. For both, it would be like chinese torture working together at the Palacios Institute. Her favorite flashback, being thrown around by her abusive ex husband while taking their daughter. She is always crying while holding April's picture. Nevertheless, she reviews the teacher's resumeés while at home, Ricardo googles her. When Selena asks him why is he watching her he says is because he entered the word ''witch'' and her picture came up.
PatoLucas were already in trouble, so Anastasia thinks she didn't do anything wrong breaking them up. The same logic Erasmo is using. If Pato is up for grabs, why not take this chance?

Kristel has been crying for the last three days and needs rehydration, but refuses to eat anything, even when granny Margarita has prepared the most succulent little sandwich and little fruit salad just for her. She is sick from love, and only cries and cries in the corners.
My question is, and I don't know if she was virgin or how much she appreciates her virginity, but she slept with Erasmo and I never saw her crying like this for him! She didn't sleep with Pedro, what could be the big deal?

Márgara and Sálmara visit the Gallos and since the surprise and the silent is evident, granny claims she hears crickets. To leave the couple alone, she follows Estrella to her room (that is actually behind a curtain). They can not believe what they are overhearing, Salma is asking for forgiveness and accepting that she likes Kiko!
After all, in her defense, I will say that she comes from la familia confundida. Kiko is not sure, ''Mi little house is small, smaller than your granny's living room'' He says, but I only accept your apology because this is 100% pure love.
From better homes we've been kicked out
When Manastasia comes back to pick her baby up and return it to the Rent-a-Baby center, Viviana demands a DNA test asap. Your suspicions offend me, claims the new mother, but I agree, I will prove that Luca didn't use protection and he is the father of this Baby Luquita.
Meanwhile in granny's house, Mario eats grape jell-o and thinks about proposing Viviana.
Back in Esperanza's, Pedro and Ernesto discuss Virotherapy and the protocols of acceptance while Esperanza cries seeing them so happy for her. Experimental
PatoLuca's problems are such, that even Ernesto is not allowed to intervene.
With money dances the dog
Now Cristina Vélez Valderrama, the firewoman of the education, says she took the job at Palacios because she needs the money to pay the private eye? Why not before despite the countless calls offering her work? She tells Abril's picture that she will start working, so she can pay the private investigator from Ricardo's club and who hasn't discovered anything so far . Whaaat? If so why didn't she keep working all the time? It's absurd how she needs the money now and not before? I am sure she could find out more if she googles the name April, that is if Teenage mutant ninja turtles don't show up first.
Just another manic MONDAY
Anastasia finally left Lucas penthouse and shows up at Esperanza, so Patricia could meet her stepbrother/stepnephew/stepson? God, and I though the inbreds were complicated!
-Hi, I thought you would like to meet Luca's son!
-Quaaack?? I mean, quéeeeee?
Tomorrow: Don't miss the encounter that triggers Esperanza's agony! More agony?

What a great way to start the day with this "musically illustrated" recap! Thank you for the fun besides the excellent recap! Wow! What a blast from the past with some of those videos!
Interesting theory about the actors like the one who is playing the new character Dionisio. I like that you have Pato still quacking.
You know, I was thinking the same thing about Silvana paying LaTuerta (who had beat her up for fun and money) for her "advice". Bad purchase. I was expecting something really nasty and creative and then it's to only let the air out of Viviana's tires?? She didn't even puncture/slash them?? Boring.
At least Viviana jumped on getting a DNA test. Again, Luca was just a little too passive and ultimately gullible with Anastasia. Maybe he and Erasmo were separated at birth. Wonder how long this plot line will last before disappearing. Hope it is soon.
I did like "Doña Cretina" to go along with "patán".
Guess since Adrián is going to be discharged they had to find more screen time for the actress playing Dr. Mireya. She's everywhere.
As soon as Viviana and Mario started talking about Salma giving the baby up for adoption and their "realization" how she/he would be their grandchild, there must be a wedding and their own adoption of the baby on the horizon.

I missed all but the last few minutes as I was at the store replacing my cell phone that hid in my sweater pocket and ended up in the washer. Sigh...
I must admit the men in this have (mostly) made poor choices. I thought Kiko was smarter than falling for not so sweet Salma! A very, very odd match. But none has shown zero discriminating taste than Erasmo. Kristel and then Pato?? A non stop whine fest with both. Pedro, I think Kristel is confused. I don't know who she loves (and frankly, don't care), but she wants everyone to want her. With Erasmo seeming to be definitely "over her" and Pedro unwilling to go back to her, she now has no one. Very fitting.
Vivi is cagier than I thought. She has Sil's number. Of course the over played slashed tires was uninspired and of course, something so obvious leaves little doubt as to the culprit.
I am sort of secretly hoping the baby is Luca's. Even though Anastasia is a conniving, cunning liar, he may end up being happier with her than with the incessantly crying and complaining Pato. Who knows what will happen?
Jarifa, loved your comment about Luca "Maybe he and Erasmo were separated at birth". Perhaps so! that would certainly explain a lot.

Can Ricardo and Cretina ride into the sunset together already? Her jeans being too tight could be a budget thing - I noticed Ric's shirts being two sizes too small and Pato wearing kindergarden skirts, too. Maybe they spent too much money on the musturd uniforms and there was nothing left for appropriately fitted clothes for the cast.
I half expected for Espe to refuse this experimental treatment, too. I thought that her pride only allowed for one type of operation - her autopsy three months from now.
Mario and Vivi raising their grandson as their child isn't unheard of and it would be a rather decent resolution to all the baby drama. Telling the kid down the line that mom and dad come from two différent set of grandparents will be awkward, but maneageble. On the other hand, how do they explain that bro Adrian and sis Salma are his real parents? No amont of therapy could ever cure that!

I had many LOL moments reading this, especially with these:

Hello again! I've finally had a chance to read the comments.
I agree with you, Jarifa, Viviana's "villainies" are so lame that she ought to have her villana card revoked. As mentioned in the recap, second-grader Pamela caused more mischief. Your quip that Luca and Erasmo may be long-lost (fraternal) twins made me laugh! Both of them are dumb and boring, though Erasmo exceeds Luca in the dumb category and Luca wins the trophy for most boring male character in this TN.
Diana, I'm sorry for your cellphone's death by washing machine. An old cell of mine met an untimely demise in a similar incident about 5 years ago. As regards the show, you are right to point out how nearly very male character has abysmal reasoning skills and awful taste in women. Kristel takes the cake though. My ears bleed every time she is on-screen. Poor gal should've stuck to modelling. As for the baby, that adorable munchkin does not deserve to have such awful parents, whomever the dad turns out to be.

Both of them are dumb and boring, though Erasmo exceeds Luca in the dumb category and Luca wins the trophy for most boring male character in this TN.
Diana, I'm sorry for your cellphone's death by washing machine. An old cell of mine met an untimely demise in a similar incident about 5 years ago. As regards the show, you are right to point out how nearly very male character has abysmal reasoning skills and awful taste in women. Kristel takes the cake though. My ears bleed every time she is on-screen. Poor gal should've stuck to modelling. As for the baby, that adorable munchkin does not deserve to have such awful parents, whomever the dad turns out to be.
Adriana, you hit the nail on the head about the insipid twosome (Cris and Ric). Can they just have their happily-ever-after already? Just move together to Tabasco and away from our screens, please!

Pablo, Paquita la del Barrio "acted" in one of Osorio's dramatic/unintentional comedy TN offerings, the disastrous "Velo de Novia". That TN is famous for being a hot mess of scorching dumbassery and distilled stoopidity. It started with one cast and ended with another. It started in China and ended in Jupiter. Osorio's then-wife, whom he cast in his TN, as per usual, left him in the middle of filming and he started wiping out characters in the most grotesque and bizarre of ways. How the dude keeps getting production gigs I'll never know!

Indeed, Steve! She is the Cristina we have been bashing. Pretty gal with a rocking body but that's about all she has to offer. The TN is just awful and her character is superfluous, but bless her heart, she is no thespian talent either.
