Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, Capítulo 41, Thursday November 1, 2018; “Susana hires Catalina?” Or, “Things just get worse!”
Labels: mimarido2
Then there was Imelda complaining that Crisanta’s choice of color for the hallway reminded her of a pulquería (a place that sells pulque an alcoholic beer like beverage made from the maguey plant) . How would strait laced Imelda know what a pulquería looks like? Just wondering. : )
Sometimes I think that the writer’s sit around and think about what each character’s worst nightmare would be and then bring it to being a reality in this novela. Catalina working as Susana’s assistant???? That would be pure hell for Julieta. (Eventhough I did like Susana’s point of view).
Susana needs to think of “boundaries” and not cave into bratty Sebas’ wishes that she not see Pancho. Time for her to “woman up” and act as decisively at home as she does at work. She discusses way too much with an eight (?) year old.
"Crisanta says they are not, they are only her toy soldiers" and "She says he’s hiding something, but it’s certainly not money" were only a few of my favorites.
“[Not nice, Imelda! Older children need homes and good families to grow up in too. You just can’t kick them to the curb like garbage.]”. I just loved your advice to Imelda whose tunnel vision is sometimes astounding.
Two terrible hurts. “You can see Robert’s face just drop at the thought”. Indeed. And just as cutting “Wiping her tears and hurt, Susana tells Axel, “It seems like you are incapable of loving me.” My heart went out to Susana. And while I didn’t understand the dialog last night, I certainly got her chastising him for calling her “Susana”. It’s about time she told off her ungrateful, condescending son. Blech.
I was disappointed Susana did not give a comforting “ear” to Julieta, but she had a terrible morning and was still reeling from her own emotional turmoil, which is understandable. Fortunately, Julieta was able to be a bit more compassionate in her conversation with Gabi and “explains that the only successful way of having a good relationship with another person is to be a complete person yourself.” Sound advice.
"Time for her to “woman up” and act as decisively at home as she does at work. She discusses way too much with an eight (?) year old" was excellent Jarifa.
I am thoroughly enjoying Pancho and Robert. Robert especially channels his inner child and his facial expressions are priceless. Pancho really know how to push his buttons, doesn’t he?
Hurricane Cat in the office? Smiling at the thought.
So Audi doesn't like the earring? Cut your tiny pigtails off before you condemn your son, OK? :)
Wonderful Cynthia, thank you so much!
Diana
I am so happy you heard from Vivi.
We all miss you so very much! You are in our hearts and in our prayers. I am hoping you are finding solace and comfort with all those who love you. Including us.
Diana
JudyB, yes, Imelda is a pain. Does she think that her age gives her the right to say anything she wants to anyone irregardless of the hurt it might cause? She has a real mean streak.
Diana, perfect description of Audi's hair: tiny pigtails. I am intrigued to see what happens to him at the new church.
Really, Susana hired Catalina? Unbelievable. But maybe Catalina will shock me and actually turn out to be a good assistant.
Love the Robert-Pancho rivalry. Bring on the slapstick!
I guess Dani's moving out was the right move because now Gabriel has at least gotten off the couch.
Cut your tiny pigtails off before you condemn your son, OK?
Diana, tee-hee-hee! Audi simply looks ridiculous.
JudyB, ITA...Imelda is a pain..and a hippocrate...and a metiche...and stubborn as a mule! I could stand her looks if she were a better person, but she's not. Sometimes her concern for her family seems as fake as her wigs. Can you tell I don't like her? ;-)
Jarifa, Cat working for Susana is mindboggling. Why would anyone hire someone who has done nothing but chastise you. Supposedly there was an interview; did anyone check to see if Cat really was bilingual...apparently NOT!
Diana, those pigtails aren't much of an improvement over that mess of a hair Audi had
during the first season, are they? LOL
JudyB, "virtual family room" gotta love it!
"Then Imelda starts in with her “I told you so” regarding how it was a mistake to adopt an older child. She says, “They have to suffer the consequences of adopting an older child.” Aaaaaaand . . . Imelda is back to her know-it-all self.
Crisanta painting the house really bothers me. She is punishing the wrong people. Imelda did not "encourage" Coward-o at the end, and the Córsegas did nothing wrong, it was Canuto! Mis-directed anger?
ITA - Catalina working for Susana will be a disaster. Is there anything Catalina does that does not have DISASTER written all over it?
I wanted to see Pancho and Robert throwing whipped cream pies at each other. That would be something!
It was rather silly of Audi to say that only women and gays wear earrings. I know lots of straight guys who wear earrings! It's just what has been in style and means absolutely nothing.
Imelda's criticism of adopting an older child made me angry. I know a family who adopted two children from the foster care system when they became available. They are so happy as a family.
My fingers almost start a small fire as I feel all the scenes with Assel and Lindum !
They are both annoying...Lives with Susanna who he is disrespectsble...Badta!
It’s a wholesome and decent family-oriented show that has something for everyone. And, who doesn’t like the return of Pancho Lopez, right?
I don’t know if it would be appropriate to ask the following, but I hope someone lets me know if that’s the case. Please feel free to email me.
I know that some of the recappers for this blog watch the actual Mexican unedited episodes, and I was wondering how or where I could find them here in the US. Believe it or not, I was able to watch them on the Dailymotion site up until about episode 45, and now, I can’t seem to do that anymore.
I know that Univision edits some scenes and content, which is why I wanted to watch the Mexico ones in full. If not, it looks like Univision is catching up with where I left off.
Anyway, I look forward to joining in the conversation.
