Caray, Caray!

 A doctor has come to check up on Paz. She is doing fine, he doesn’t think someone poisoned her. There is another possibility that requires a quick analysis. And, surprise, surprise, Paz is pregnant. Both Paz and Esteban are very happy. His kids, her kids and their kids. Yey!

Kenzo tries to explain to Jero how twisted his way of thinking is. Jero says Felipa pushed him to get more money, to build an empire. He knows what he did was bad, but he doesn’t know how to stop. He also confesses he helped Giovanna with the attack on Bosco.

Kenzo is shocked, screams at Jero, even slaps him. Jero blames Felipa and Kenzo’s neglect, he felt alone. Kenzo thinks this is not an excuse and Jero would like to stop, but it’s too hard. Kenzo asks if he had anything to do with the latest attack on the teens and confesses that Ginebra is blackmailing him, too. They talk about the prints on the gun and Jero swears he didn’t kill Humber, he just held the gun to  learn how to use it. Kenzo promises to help him no matter what, he is his son and he loves him.

Gin and Mauro are waiting for Sabon, who is late. Mauro still doesn’t like this plan, their original deal wasn’t like this. But he never thought that he’d love Samara or Mireya. Gin is still upset over his desire to leave with Mireya, she always thought they’d be together forever. Mauro thinks they both made mistakes, she fell in love with Esteban, too. So what now? He wants to protect her, they should just leave this place, go build their lives elsewhere.

They are interrupted by Abdul who comes with Felipa. She will help them with whatever; she doesn’t want to die, she just wants to see her kids again. Gin has a demand for her, she wants Felipa to spy on Kenzo and Jero, make sur they won’t betray her.

Lupita and Porfirio are with Eder and Monito in the garden, building kites, to send messages to Humberto. Esteban and Paz come to ask about their therapy, the boys say Maria stayed behind to talk to the doctor some more. Paz and Esteban tell them about having a baby.

Gala and Salo are in a park, roller skating and enjoying some TLC. They run into Elvira and Fobo, they are all a bit embarrassed. Elvira and Fobo are holding hands, they confirm they are dating. Elvira apologizes to Salo, who calls her Dona Yaya (hehe).

Paz and Esteban are now in Maria’s room talking with Sabon. Maria is still on the bed and Sabon says they couldn’t even finish the session because she started sobbing and was too tired to continue. She’s had how many changes of identity in the last year?

Paz is apologetic, she never wanted her daughter to feel this kind of pain. Esteban doesn’t like some of Sabon’s words, it feels like he is scolding them when they are not to blame for what is going on. They raise their voices, Paz tries to play referee, she has seen Maria connect with the therapist from the very first time, maybe they should listen to him, since he’s the specialist. Esteban agrees to talk elsewhere, not disturb Maria’s sleep.

But after they are gone, Mendoza grabs her and is about to place her in the luggage, apologizing for what he is about to do.

Mireya is still daydreaming about her date with Humberto. Back to reality, she sobs in front of Bosco and Pepa.

Sabon and Esteban&Paz go over a list of everything that Maria has had to go through, including having to steal in order to feed herself. Esteban is still reluctant to believe that Maria is in so much pain, she hasn’t shown any of these symptoms. Sabon says this is a defense mechanism, she doesn’t want to worry them. Pas asks if they should tell her about being pregnant. Sabon is visibly shocked, says this is up to them to decide, but it would be a shame for the girl to feel like they are replacing her. Paz gets worried, wants to go see Maria. Sabon quickly writes something on his phone, then insists they need to let her sleep, the therapy session has been very tiring. Paz wants to be with her daughter all the time, Esteban is sure she’s safe. Sabon has to go now.

Lupita and Porfirio run into Mendoza who is coming down the stairs with some big bags. Don Esteban asked him to move some stuff, and no, he doesn’t need help.

Paz goes to give Maria something to eat, but she’s not in her bed. Someone stole her again, she screams! They start going through the room, Esteban finds her behind the couch! She is still sleeping, Esteban deduces the doctor wanted to take her, it could only have been him, he was inside the house and he spent too much time alone with her.

Maria wakes up and says she doesn’t know why she fell asleep, she only remembers that the doctor smelled very good.

Nandy wants Kenzo to tell Esteban about the cryptocurrency, but he insists it’s not her business. And he doesn’t want his son to go to jail. Nandy wonders if he’s hiding something else. He says no, but he has to defend Jero at all costs. They are interrupted by Felipa, who is out of jail. She is actually civil to Nandy, being in jail was hard on her, all she wants now is to get her kids back.

Ginebra is upset Sabon didn’t bring Samara to her, he explains it was impossible to do it, the house is very well protected. Mauro is happy, she should seek vengeance with Paz or Esteban, who she clearly still loves. This is the moment Sabon chooses to say Paz is pregnant and Gin is already planning to steal another baby from Paz.

Paz is feeding Maria, who loves the soup. Esteban is trying to reach Mendoza, but he doesn’t answer. They leave Maria with Lupita and they go into their room to check the cameras from when Maria was alone with the two men. They see that Mendoza put Maria behind the couch when he got the alert from Sabon and realize what Ginebra was trying to do.

They tell Lupita and Porfirio what is going on and then the others arrive and they fill them in about what has happened. Esteban is trying to reach Kenzo, also, they all wonder about his involvement in everything. They also need to tell the police what is going on and Esteban asks Fobo to tell him exactly who they can trust. They all have to be very careful, they are in grave danger.

Later Fobo confirms to Esteban on the phone that he has told the police about Sabon and Mendoza. Esteban asks him to keep him informed and tells Paz Ginebra will never stop, she is obsessed with him.

Felipa is impressed with Kenzo’s help in getting her out of jail. She tries to kiss him, he’s upset because she provoked all of this. And now they are in deep trouble.

Esteban and Paz go to the police, they are not happy they let Ginebra go. The agent who replaced Castro says she made a deal with them, but there is no proof that she actually stole her daughter, they only have Fermin’s testimony. He tells them they found Mendoza and his wife dead in a car. As for Sabon, he has a double identity, but he doesn’t have the time to explain everything to them.

Esteban and Paz demand that he take action, he can’t allow a criminal like Ginebra to remain free. And if he’s not capable of doing it, he should leave the task to his superiors. The guy doesn’t appreciate this “advice”, he and Esteban almost get physical.

Nandy is trying to work with Kenzo, but his mind is elsewhere. Elvita and Fobo arrive, she slaps Kenzo, tells him what Sabon almost did to their family. Kenzo tries to say he did investigate Sabon, but Fobo has proof that he hasn’t. Nandy can’t believe Kenzo would do this, he remembers Gin’s threats.

Alone with him, Elvira asks for him to trust her and speak up. Kenzo is still denying knowing anything about Sabon’s plans. Felipa arrives to say Kenzo is innocent, Ginebra never mentioned him while they were both locked up.

Esteban and Paz arrive and Esteban demands an explanation. Paz trusts that Kenzo would never harm any of them, but Esteban would like to know who jeopardized his kids in that car also. Elvira adds that many people are betraying them, like Mendoza did and Kenzo says it must be him who helped tamper with the car.

Fobo was told by the police that they found information about the whole family in Mendoza’s car, Esteban concludes he betrayed them by giving information to Ginebra.

The kids are with Porfirio, Lupita and Mireya, Maria can’t wait to hear her mom’s good news.

The teens try to brainstorm about what has happened. Bosco suspects Jero, could he and Kenzo have been involved? Are they in cahoots with Ginebra?

Sabon is upset because the police is after him, his boss must be upset. Mauro is unconcerned, he was taking a nap and now he plans to take a shower.

Sabon advices Ginebra to get rid of Mauro, he is only bringing her down. But she’s no fool, she will never go against her brother. Sabon reminds her his boss helped her, she doesn’t want to go against his wishes.

They talk about Mendoza betraying them. Gin kicks Sabon behind the knees, making him fall to the ground. He reminds her she still has Kenzo, but she’s afraid he might turn against her, too. She punches him again, says she is in charge, Paz and Esteban will never be happy!
