I've just been enjoying all the recaps without doing any myself. I can't provide half the detail you all do but I could hit the major points if you need me to. Sice we are just watching it leisurely only having 2 this weekend is ok by me. March is grandbabies (turning 7 and 3 I guess they are no longer babies!) birthdays so I'm tied up with parties and church and weeding/planting some of my vegetables this month.

Episode 98 #1

Omer and Nilufer are talking on a bench.
Nilufer: Everything started the day that they kidnapped me. I need to end this. If you let me do this, I promise that I will be very careful and I’ll only do what you tell me. I don’t want to have problems. Please give me this opportunity to help you.
Omer sits down: Very well. You’ll do it but you’re not going to marry that fellow and you’ll do what I tell you.
Nilufer: OK, and what happens now? What are we going to do now?
Omer: Promise me this that you aren’t going to marry him and that you won’t put yourself in danger.
Nilufer: OK, I promise.
Omer: Good. You’ll see Fatih. It’s obvious that he will talk about marriage. Ask him if Tayyer is in agreement. Don’t say yes, but say you want to see him and don’t worry about anything. We will be with you all the time.
Nilufer: I’m not worried, Omer. Just tell me what I have to do in Tayyer’s house.
Omer: Tayyer has a new recording. Fatih got it from Pinar. I need that recording in my hands.
Omer sits and thinks about this operation for a while.

A van drives up to what looks like an abandoned building and lets Ipek out accompanied by a guard. They are followed by a blue car driven by Elif, who parks and gets out to follow. She looks in the window, covered with shreds of plastic sheeting, and can see Ipek and her captor walking inside. Ipek asks: Where is he?
The main bad guy (MBG) walks up to them and asks if she is clean. Henchie says they have her firearm.
Ipek takes out the thumb drive and offers it to MBG. He says that it looks like the assassination of Bahar will remain as one of those unsolved mysteries thanks to her. No one will know who killed her.
Ipek: I complied with my part. Now it’s your turn.
MBG: And if you try to fool me?
Ipek: I also don’t know if I can trust you. And I don’t see my son. Where is he?
MBG: In the car.
She looks at the car and can see something, but it’s not clear who or what it is in the car.
She tells MBG to get her son and he signals to henchie to do this.
MBG: Show me what you brought, otherwise you won’t get to see him.
He threatens to lose the evidence if she betrays him and she will lose her son.
Ipek gives him the thumb drive. She tells him they need to finish this so she can get away from them with her son. MBG takes the thumb drive and inserts it into a computer to check it. Ipek asks if all is well. Elif is still watching this through the window and can see some of what is on the computer screen. MBG asks if she has copies of the video. She tells him no. He tells her he thinks she is lying. She says of course not. She complied with what she promised, and you have what you want. Give me my son. MBG asks what if he doesn’t want to. She tells him not to imagine of what she is capable. MBG tells her she is a very tough police woman. He laughs and signals for henchie to grab her. He does, but she manages to kick MBG. Then she escapes and starts to run. MBG says to catch her. They do catch her. MGB says it looks like they forgot to tell her something: Don’t rely on us. Both men restrain her. Elif is very impactada. It looks like they might be killing (strangling) Ipek.

Back to the bench, with Nilufer and Omer.
Omer: Even if it’s to help me I know that Elif won’t want you to enter the house of Tayyar.
Nilufer: And did you ask me when you two played being police?
Omer: I didn’t have another option. It was the only way to save you from Fatih.

Episode 98 #2
Nilufer: I don’t have another option. It’s my turn to save my family, even if only for this once, please believe me. Look, I will do what you say, and I promise that I’ll only do this. There’s no way I will marry Fatih, and I don’t plan to get involved in major problems doing stupid things or dangerous ones. All I will do is what you tell me, Omer.
Omer: Nilufer, you are important for me. That’s why I have such doubts.
Nilufer: I understand. But Fatih is very impatient. Let’s not make him wait. OK?
Omer: OK.
Nilufer turns to leave.

Back with Ipek being strangled. All of a sudden, the door opens when a car drives into the room. Both bad guys are blinded by the headlights. Henchie shoots at the car, but misses Elif and she runs into him. She drives a way with him on the hood of her car. He finally is thrown off. MBG starts shooting at her and she still drives forward. MBG tells her not to drive further because there is a lot of gasoline there. (Were they planning to set fire to Ipek and any evidence after killing her?)

FLASHBACK: Elif is remembering how Omer taught her to shoot. He told her that was not the way to hold a gun. You have to hold it this way, and he shows her. IIRC, this was observed by Sami watching them through binoculars.

Back to the present, Elif implements Omer’s training and shoots at MBG. Henchie runs off and MBG appears to have run off, too. Elif then runs to Ipek. She tries to get her to respond. She lifts and carries her to her car. Ipek looks like a dead weight, and Elif has to carry her several feet.

Outside the clinic, Pelin and Arda are walking hand in hand talking about a “storm” that they were leaving behind.
Pelin: He thought you were going to arrest him. (This might be the fake ultrasound doctor.)
Arda: Well, he deserved it. We had enough these two weeks. And do I get a hug? I’m guessing that we have now reconciled, right?
Pelin: Ay, Arda! The station is always waiting, and we are going to be late. This isn’t a good time.
Arda: Only work, work, and work. When are you going to think about your heart? Besides, what’s wrong with a little hug?
Oh dear, up walks Cigdem, such a downer.
She accuses Arda of setting that whole thing to impress Pelin.
Arda: Cigdem! Enough!
Cidgem, to Pelin: You destroyed my family. I hope you can never have children.
Pelin reacts to this: Hey, watch your words or I won’t be responsible for what I do. I’d really like to put you in your place. I’ve been very patient, and it’s better if you leave now.
Cigdem: Dirty, that is what you are. Arda, you won’t see me again ever because of this cheap woman.
Arda: That’s really nice of you, Cigdem, thank you. I hope that it happens just like you said.
Cigdem calls them names. Arda says he will have to be very careful. He says he is with a very tough woman. Pelin says, I guess that makes me the problem now.
Arda, takes her by the hand: You are a problem that I like. He strokes her cheek and kisses her.
Pelin resists for a moment and then smiles a lovely smile and reaches up to kiss him back.
Then Pelin says they need to get to work, but both of them have bright smiles as they walk toward the station.

We see Elif driving an unconscious Ipek. She wonders what she should do. She calls Ipek’s name. She tries to get her to respond with no luck.

Episode 98 #3

In another car we see MBG and henchie driving along the same road. MBG is trying to reach his boss. He tells him he got the thumb drive and that there is no copy. No evidence is left.
We see that his boss is Tayyar who asks: What happened with the girl? Were you able to take care of her? MBG: We had a small problem, sir. She escaped.
Tayyar is surprised at this: How is it possible that an insignificant woman can get away from a pair of men?
MBG: Something totally unexpected happened, boss. Elif Denizer showed up in a car out of the blue. She was driving like a crazy person, and she ran over henchie.
Tayyar: Elif, you say? What was she doing there?
MBG: I don’t know, sir.
Tayyar: Can’t you do anything right? Take charge of Orhan. That you should be able to do.

Elif keeps trying to get Ipek to wake up with no luck. She finally decides to call Omer.

Omer and Nilufer are still planning on their bench.
Omer: You will call Fatih and tell him that you do want to marry him, but that first you want to talk to his father to know what he thinks of their relationship. Ask him to take you to Tayyar’s place tomorrow. If you have any problem, get out of there or make our signal where you put your hand on your head like this. OK?
Nilufer: Yes. But you need to hide well. For no reason should Fatih see you!
Omer gets the call from Elif.
Nilufer asks him not to tell Elif yet. It will be better to tell her after. He doesn’t agree. He tells Nilufer they won’t hide anything.
Nilufer: OK, but then you and I should tell her together.
He nods agreement and answers the call.
Elif: Omer! So many horrible things happened.
Omer: Calm down, Elif. You need to relax. Where are you and what happened?
Elf: Omer, they tried to kill Ipek, I was able to stop it but she’s unconscious. I’m taking her to the hospital.
Pomer: What? Are you OK?
Elif: I’m OK. Don’t worry about me.
Just then, Ipek starts to come to.
Elif: Ipek, I’m here.
Omer: Elif what’s happening?
She tells him Ipek is waking up and just started to talk.
Omer: Tell me where you are so I can find you.
Elif: On the coastal road, I’m looking for the nearest hospital.
Ipek: Elif, listen, take me where Arda is. Tell Omer to go there as well as Pelin.
Elif: Are you sure?
Ipek: Yes.
Omer: Elif, tell me what you are talking about.
Ipek: Let’s go there. It is the safest place
Elif: Omer, we are going to Arda’s house. We’ll see you there. Also let Pelin and Arda know to go there.
Omer agrees: Is anyone following you?
She doesn’t think so.
He tells Elif to drive carefully and he will head toward where they are.
He hangs up.
Nilufer: Omer, what’s going on?
Omer: Something’s happened but it’s under control. You aren’t going to meet with Fatih.
She wants to let Fatih know but doesn’t have his number. Omer says that’s the least important thing right now. Believe me, the plan is cancelled now. You will go to your house.
He takes her to her home.

Episode 98 #4

On the fancy yacht, we see Tayyar all dressed up in a tuxedo. He comes into the dining area and asks the staff if everything is going to be perfect. They assure him it will. Then Fatih walks in, also dressed for dinner in a black suit. Tayyar adjusts Fatih’s tie and jokes with him about how many women would be interested in him. Fatih looks a little bashful and says he is only interested in Nilufer. Tayyar says, good, then we won’t wait any longer for the bride.
Tayyar: Tell the captain it’s time to go find the bride. A servant walks by with a bridal dress. Fatih looks very uncomfortable, [perhaps his suit is tight].

Omer and Nilufer are crossing the street after their park bench discussion. Nilufer: Omer, if I don’t go, Fatih won’t trust me again and we won’t be able to get the cd.
Omer: It doesn’t matter, Nilufer. We will find another way. You relax. You need to go to your house. Don’t go near that guy until I tell you.
Nilufer: Elif is always ruining things. It’s incredible. I can’t believe it. [ And I can’t believe her sibling resentment of Elif is rearing its ugly head here!]
Omer calls a cab for Nilufer. He tells the driver she is going to Bebek. Nilufer looks out the back window as Omer walks away. She makes her “spoiled girl” face, upset again that Elif has ruined her plan. She tells the driver to let her off early.

Elif drives up with Ipek. Ipek struggles to get out of the passenger seat. Elif helps her and they head into Arda’s house together. Pelin and Arda drive up just then to help. Arda asks what happened. Elif says they should go inside first and then they can tell them what happened.
Inside, Ipek sits on the sofa. Pelin looks at Ipek’s wounded throat and comments out loud: What kind of animal did this. I am in charge of finding this creep.
Ipek manages a weak smile: Elif already put him in his place.
Elif changes the subject: We should take her to a doctor to see if she is OK. It might be something serious.
Pelin is putting pressure on the place where Ipek was shot in the abdomen. Arda asks how the wound is doing, and Pelin tells him it has stopped bleeding, so it doesn’t look too serious.
Pelin: So, are you going to tell us what happened?
Ipek asks Pelin for a painkiller. Arda says he will look for one because the house is still in disorder. Elif went to get water. Pelin tells Arda he wouldn’t know what medicine to bring and starts to go instead. He says: Fine, we’ll go together.
Elif brings water to Ipek. They sit together. Ipek: Elif, you saved my life. I don’t know how to thank you.
Elif shrugs and says Ipek would have done the same for her.
Ipek: But what were you doing there?
Elif: I was following you and what I saw surprised me greatly.
Ipek: I can imagine. But I have a very good explanation for what I did. Really.
There’s a knock on the door.
Omer enters, right into Elif’s arms. [They fit so well, these two!]
Omer: I don’t know how I was able to drive all the way. The trip seemed eternal.
Elif: It’s fine. Don’t worry.
Omer takes her head between his hands: Are you OK now?
She tells him yes.
Omer: You know if something should happen to you, I would burn all this, love.
They stand hugging for a while. Elif looks over at Ipek.
Omer then goes over to Ipek and asks how she is doing. She tells him she is good, thanks to Elif who saved her life. She is a valiant woman.
Omer: Yes, I know.
Omer looks from one to the other. He can sense there is something else.
Omer: Well, what happened? Elif, you said something on the phone, but I didn’t understand a word of it.
Elif: Well, Ipek was in the wrong place at the wrong moment, and I was in the right place at the right time. That’s what happened.

Pelin is yelling at Arda as they leave his bedroom: How can you possibly sleep in a mess like this. (They are still looking for the painkillers.) I’ve never seen such a thing. It’s impossible to find something there. Arda tells her to come over more often and organize things. What is the problem?
Pelin continues to harangue Arda, asking how he can live like this. Now you want ME to clean it? I hope that is a joke. Arda smiles and produces the bottle of painkillers, offering some to Ipek.
Omer whispers to Elif that they will go outside.

We see the Dundar yacht pull up to where Nilufer is waiting. She is all worked up about being told to go home and angry at Elif for preventing Nilufer and Omer from carrying out their plan. Out walks elegant Fatih: Here waits the princess.
Nilufer, astonished: Fatih, what is going on?
Fatih: Nothing except we are getting married. Here is a yacht all decorated and a bridegroom dressed elegantly, who surprises the bride. Don’t you have something to say? You look perplexed. If you can feel the way both of hearts beat, tell me yes, Nilufer. I want you to be my wife forever.
Nilufer: Right now? Are you serious?
Fatih: I’ve waited too long, don’t you think?
Nilufer nods: you are right but shouldn’t we have talked about this before?
Fatih drags her by the arm and tells her they will talk about it inside.

Omer and Elif are talking in Arda’s yard.
Omer: That’s impossible. Ipek wouldn’t have betrayed us.
Elif: But she did.
Omer: There has to be an explanation.
Elif: You’re right. There has to be an explanation. It’s more likely that I am wrong before she might have done something wrong.
Omer: I didn’t say that Elif.
Elif: No, but it’s clear that since Ipek came here, there has been a problem between the two of us. Even though I saved her life, I’m to blame for all of this. Why does it always have to be my fault?
Omer: Elif, stop! I’m trying to understand you; why don’t you do the same for me?
Elif: I can’t understand. Today has been one of the worst days of my life and some bad guys tried to strangle Ipek. She could have died. I might have, also. And instead of listening, you want to give me a lecture.
Omer: That’s true. You are right. I’m sorry. I was really stupid.
Omer holds her head with his hands: Elif, Relax, love, I’m here now so tell me what happened. What was the evidence that she gave them?
Elif: I don’t know. I couldn’t see.

On the yacht, Nilufer is very surprised to see all the preparations, including a marriage officiant. Tayyar comes up to greet her in his tux: Welcome, my lovely daughter-in-law.
Nilufer: Good evening.
She looks around and says to Fatih: There is nothing left to do here. Everything is ready.
Fatih: Thank you. We will be a family, like we always dreamed we would be.
She tries to say something, but no words come out. Fatih: Do you want to say something, Nilufer?
Fatih says to Tayyar: Excuse us for a moment, papa.
Fatih takes her to the bedroom to talk in private. This might have been a bad choice, because it is also fixed up for the occasion.

Fatih: Tell me, love, what’s wrong?
Nilufer: And why don’t you explain what all this means? Is there something I don’t know. I don’t understand.
Fatih: It’s what we agreed on, if you came it would mean you accepted my proposal. You’re here, my love, we will marry. What is wrong, I don’t understand?
Elif sits down to catch her breath.
Fatih: Nilufer, I will make things easy, my love. If you aren’t my wife before we get to the pier, you can forget me, understand? You have five minutes to think. Then there won’t be any turning back.
He leaves her to think. Dazed, she looks around at all the things.

Back at Arda’s, Arda is pacing back and forth, while Ipek and Pelin are seated.
Arda: Tell me, Ipek, did you go crazy? How could you think to do this alone? Why didn’t you tell us?
Ipek: They were going to hurt my son, Arda. I had to do it.
In walk Omer and Elif.
Arda: No, no, you didn’t have to do it. We had already talked about this. I was looking for your son. You are a cop. How could you fall into this trap?
Ipek: I was desperate. You don’t know what a mother is capable of. It will be impossible for you to understand.
Omer: OK, don’t fight. It won’t solve anything, especially now after all that has happened.
Elif rubs her forehead.
Omer: Ipek, why did you give them the evidence? What did they offer you?
Ipek: To return my son.
Omer: Tayyar has your son kidnapped?
Elif turns and stares at this.
Ipek: No, the person who kidnapped him was Serhat, my ex-husband. That is why I came to Istanbul. I followed him. Pelin and Arda already knew about this.
Omer looks at them in silence.
Arda: I wanted to tell you many times, but you didn’t hear me.
Omer: Ah, now I understand many things, such as when I saw you interrogating Racin. He works for Serhat, right? And he also has a relationship with Tayyar and Fatih. What did they say to you, Ipek? That they would return your son in exchange for the evidence?
Ipek: At first, I didn’t accept. I said I wouldn’t betray you. That I couldn’t. Because I’m a policewoman.
Elif is listening to this, looking very sad.
Ipek: But they sent me a sweater of my son’s with his blood on it. I had given him that sweater. I thought I would go crazy when I saw it. I was sure that they would kill him. You know what those psychopaths are capable of. During these years I’ve learned that they can do whatever thing to keep from being caught. All I did was think of my son, Omer. I’m his mother. I just wanted to rescue him. Forgive me.
Arda: You really thought they would return your son?
Pelin: Arda, what is wrong with you. We’ve never been in the situation of Ipek. We don’t know how she feels.
Arda: She might have died. It was just luck that Elif could help her. That boy would have been left without his mother.
Pelin: Arda, enough.
Elif: Ipek, this is very bad. All you’ve accomplished is to feel worse.

Arda: Yes, Elif, but we had promised. We were going to find him.
Arda: Fine, but you still haven’t found him.
Elif: She was just looking for another way to get him back. She’s his mother. Understand, she was afraid.
Omer: It does no good for us to argue. We need to find him. Ipek, (he takes her hand, and Elif is watching): Your son will be with you again. But you have to help me. Tell me what evidence you gave them.
Ipek: I really don’t know. Emre gave me the video, and I couldn’t look at it first. When he gave it to me, I left the station because they were waiting for me.
Omer: Pelin, call Emre. He should have a copy.
Ipek: There aren’t copies.
Everyone turns to stare at her.
Ipek: He said he didn’t make them so that only we would make the decision of what to do with the information.
Omer stands in frustration: How is this possible? Huh?
Arda: Maybe it’s possible Tayyar was on this video. This is very serious!
Pelin: Just a moment. (She is typing a number into her phone.)
Elif: But in reality, there’s no way to know what’s on that video?
Omer: Elif can draw pictures of the guys Ipek saw for us. [He probably remembers her drawing of Fatih/Metin way back.) If we can identify them, we would reach Serhat.
Arda: I’ll get paper and pencil.
Pelin: Come on, Emre, answer the phone.
We see a computer screen saver showing a smiling Emre (I think) and that is a phone ringing in a kitchen, with coffee brewing, suggesting someone is there. But apparently no one is anymore. This is very concerning.

Tayyar is on the yacht on the phone. He is praising someone for doing their job and gives them the night off: Now you have to disappear for a while, until I tell you.
Fatih walks in, looking unhappy.
Tayyar: What’s wrong, son? You don’t look like a happy bridegroom. Why are you upset? Did the bride leap into the sea or did she tell you she changed her mind?
Fatih is deep in thought. Then he sees Nilufer walk in, dressed for the wedding. A lovely smile starts on Fatih’s face. [He really loves Nilufer so much.]
Tayyar looks at Nilufer. Even he seems impactado.

Back at Arda’s, Elif is drawing fast as Ipek describes the person. Finally, Ipek agrees that is what the man looked like. To everyone’s surprise, Elif suddenly says: I have seen this man before. Omer, you’ve seen him, too. The day of Fatih’s interrogation, you and I were arguing in the car. Someone drove up and ran into us. This is that guy.
Omer now has a smile: You’re right. We went to the hospital and couldn’t go to where the records were. Tayyar must have sent one of his friends. It’s clear that accident was planned so that I wouldn’t interrogate Fatih. So, once again we find ourselves with Tayyar and these incidents must be related. That malidito Tayyar hasn’t left even one piece of evidence. No one talks. Not even Fatih talks, in spite of Tayyar stealing one of his kidneys. But, Serhat does have something to lose, his son.

Omer and Ipek look at one another.
Arda: So, what now?
Omer: Then, we will rescue Ipek’s son. Serhat must be very angry and we will draw his attention toward us.
Ipek: Serhat is a psychopath, Omer.
Omer: He may be a psychopath. Give me more information. Ipek, tell me more about Serhat. What type of work did he do?
Ipek: Everything you can imagine. Blackmail, theft, money laundering, smuggling.
Omer: Did you find this out after you married?
Ipek: No, when we married, I already knew.
Omer: You married him knowing he was a criminal? Were you missing excitement in your life as a cop?
Elif rolls her eyes at this point and turns away.
Omer notices this and follows her as she walks to the window.
Everyone is looking at everyone in silence for a moment.
Arda: Could he be an accomplice of Tayyar in his money laundering business?
Ipek: Well, I don’t know. I didn’t know he had a relationship with Tayyar.
Omer: How old is your son?
Ipek: Five.
Pelin: Give me his information, birthdate?
Ipek: Uh, March 5, 2009.
Arda: What is his name?
Ipek looks at Omer and then says: Yagiz.
Elif looks around like she doesn’t get a joke.
Pelin and Arda are impacatados.

FLASHBACK: It’s 2008. The group of four are playing bumper cars at an amusement park. Omer and Arda against the girls. They leave the cars without the men helping the women, and Pelin says they need to go have lunch. They see a youth helping a young girl out of her bumper car. Pelin points out that he is already a gentleman. Pelin tells Arda he needs to work on his technique. Arda asks if he starts to behave like an imam, will she turn into a fairy tale princess.
Omer and Ipek are walking together and laughing at this. Ipek says we will have a son who is a gentleman, just like his father. Omer says that’s how it will be. In a few years Yagiz will be playing with you guys (Pelin and Arda). Arda asks about where that name came from. [I don’t think we got an answer to that question.] Arda says he will be called Arda. Pelin says how do you know it would even be a boy? It could be a girl called Pelin.
Omer: Fine, no more arguing. We will have three kids, one called Yagiz, another Arda, and another Pelin.

End of flashback. Of course, Elif doesn’t know about this. Omer turns and looks directly at Ipek. Elif: What happened? Why the silence?
Pelin: Well, I’m just trying to get all this in order in my head.
Arda says he’s doing the same. Arda asks his last name, Yagiz what.
Ipek answers: Kocak, the same as Serhat.
Elif is watching them, again sensing that they all know something she doesn’t.

Back on the yacht, the marriage is taking place. The officiant asks Nilufer if she accepts Fatih as her legitimate husband.

FLASHBACK #1: Nilufer remembers Elif telling her that these guys are their enemies. Don’t you understand? They are the cause of all the problems. While you were kidnapped, I couldn’t sleep one second!
FLASHBACK #2: Omer tells Nilufer that he promises she isn’t going to marry Fatih and won’t get into more problems.

Back to the ceremony, Fatih asks Nilufer if she is OK. She looks at him and says she is fine.
Fatih: The officiant asked you something.
Nilufer: Excuse me.
Fatih: She is a bit nervous. Could you ask the question again?
He agrees and asks again if she accepts Fatih as her legitimate husband. She looks at Fatih, then at Tayyar, and says she accepts, with a very serious look.
Fatih exhales in relief. Then it’s his turn to accept the questions of the officiant.

Back at Arda’s, the five are sitting and thinking. Omer keeps looking at Ipek. Elif keeps wondering what she is missing.
Pelin: I’m going to go look for Emre.
Omer wonders why, since he’s always elusive. She tells him she is very worried about Emre. He always has liked to live with mystery, but he hasn’t even sent a message. He never does that.
So, I’m going to check.
Arda and then Omer say they will go with her. Then Ipek wants to go with them, too. Arda tells her to stay there and rest. She’ll go with them.
This leaves Elif, who plans to go with them. Omer tells her no. She tells Omer to at least let her wait in the car: Look, I’m already involved in this.
Omer laughs and says she is crazy. Involved? Out they all go.

Back on the yacht, we see the newlyweds embracing. It’s a lovely evening to be on a yacht on the Bosphorus.
Fatih: Now you are my wife. We are joined for eternity.
Nilufer looks down with a somber expression, but she then smiles at Fatih. He puts the amulet necklace on that she wore during their religious-only marriage.
All of a sudden, there are fireworks! There is a small musical combo who play the wedding march. As they dance, Fatih’s face is so happy; Nilufer’s face is in shock.
He tells her they are together forever and waits for her to repeat it.
As he holds her with joy, Nilufer shows no joy on her face.

Thanks Babachita! Excellent recap of an eventful episode!

The truth about Ipek comes out and we learn her son has the name she was going to name Omer's son.... does Omer have a son? Also, she knew her ex was a criminal when she married him which leads more credence to the idea that she never loved him. I'm dying to know more about why that marriage happened!!!

It's understandable but annoying that Elif is jealous! If a man looks at you like that and talks to you like that, he's not thinking about another woman! Ipek looked a little jealous too of the way Omer greeted Elif when he first arrived, but she handled it with grace.

Nilu made a beautiful bride! A very sad scared beautiful bride.

I'm worried about Emre but his approach was stupid. The best way to protect yourself in a situation like that is to scream the truth from the rafters! He should have walked into the station with a copy of the recording for every cop in the place and told everyone who would listen exactly what was on it. There'd be no point in killing him to silence him if EVERYBODY already knew what he knew!
 

KPA 99 part 1 of 6

Pelo, Ipek, Omer and Arda arrive to look for Emre. The door is open, the coffee is hot, the computer is open and no one is there. Arda and Ipek go to check with the building manager. Omer doesn’t like it; he’s thinking Emre may be kidnapped but he’s wrong. Emre is dead!!! The thugs are burying him! ☹

The unhappy wedding reception with no guests except Tayyar continues, but hey, there are fireworks! Tayyar approaches and asks how the love birds are doing and Nilu puts on her big smile and says everything is great Tio Tayyar! Tayyar won’t have it, you married my son, call me Papa! Nilu looks a little horrified but she manages to get Papa out and Tayyar twists the knife by talking about Nilu’s father, his dear friend, and how he’d love to be there. Nilu says she’s sure and he’d be really surprised too since we all thought Mert was your only son. (The look on Fatih’s face says it all!) Tayyar says no, your dad knew about Fatih because he was my confidant, I miss him so much! Oh well, Tayyar bucks up and asks about the wedding night/honeymoon, Fatih says they haven’t discussed it but they can do whatever Nilu likes. Tayyar says he wants them to come live at the house with him when they return. They can take the top floor and they’ll all live together, one big happy family! Nilu looks horrified and Fatih says they’ll live at the house in the countryside with mom until Nilu picks a house for herself. Tayyar shrugs and says whatever you want, as long as you two have each other you have it all. He adds some BS fatherly advice about love being the most important thing – it might be useful if you didn’t know he was a total creep but we all do including Fatih and Nilu so it’s just creepy. He wishes them a good night and walks off.

Asli is standing at the window watching the fireworks, Cann is behind her doing something at the table, mother and son are not interacting with each other at all. Tia comes in and asks about Nilu, is she asleep already? Asli says yes, she was tired. Tia sighs and sits down to watch the fireworks as well. Tia also didn’t acknowledge Cann at all.

Elif is the next to ask about Nilu. She asks Omer what he and Nilu were talking about earlier. The driver told her they were chatting. Omer says nothing but Elif pushes and Omer says Nilu wants to tell Elif herself so they’ll talk together, the three of them tomorrow. Elif agrees, it’s been a long, complicated day so tomorrow is good. Omer asks what else is bugging her and she wants to know how he knows something is bugging her but he says he knows her heart. He pulls over and they kiss passionately. After a couple minutes Omer turns around, Elif wants to know where he’s going and he says let everyone else work. Pelin and Arda are at the house with Ipek and some other police are protecting her as well, in case those men try to contact her again. Since that’s taken care of, Omer can take some time with his love. And sleep with her! He says they could go to their house if they had one, but Elif had her tiff and know there is no house, they lost it. Elif says that was HIS fault and they start bickering, mostly good naturedly over this.

 

KPA 99 part 2 of 6

Fatih carries Nilu into the bedroom and lays her on the bed. He’s so happy that she’s finally his wife and of course he wants to get down to the wedding night business but Nilu is obviously uncomfortable, she can’t even bring herself to kiss him. What’s wrong, Fatih asks, don’t you want to. No, Nilu answers, she doesn’t want to. Fatih wants to know if he did something and Nilu says yes, you touched Behar! You touched her with these hands and I can’t stop thinking about it. Fatih takes a deep breath and says okay, he’ll wait. Nilu is stunned! Fatih isn’t going to insist? He isn’t going to force her? Fatih says he made a lot of mistakes, but he isn’t a total bastard. He wants to start over, he wants to make Nilu happy, a new beginning! So, he’ll wait as long as she needs him to. Nilu looks genuinely touched and she softens a little. She gives him a sweet kiss and a genuine smile. She suggests watching a movie, Fatih doesn’t seem thrilled (lol) but he agrees and goes to pick out a movie.

Omer is alone in a living room which looks a lot like Arda’s so I don’t think he went to be alone with Elif after all. He calls Nilu, who doesn’t answer. He sends her a text saying they’ll talk to Elif tomorrow and not to talk to Fatih until he tells her to.

Okay, maybe Omer is alone with Elif, because Arda and Pelin are in her house and Pelin is making up the couch for the night. Arda is not happy to find he will be sleeping on the couch; he was hoping to be sleeping in their room! ‘Our room’, Pelin asks. This sets off a cute discussion about whether it’s too soon to share a bed. Arda feels like they’ve known each other for years and he’s been waiting a long time to go to sleep beside Pelin but Pelin says they just started dating! LOL Arda is left on the couch to sigh and say he’ll keep waiting.

Tayyar was sitting in Huso’s boat spot, drinking but not crying, and I was totally confused until Huso arrived! These two got to do the debrief of today’s criminal activity. Tayyar gives Huso the flash drive with the recording, there are no copies. Huso is relieved but Tayyar says there’s a price. There’s a price for everything! One’s of Tayyar’s best guys got burned and he had to kill a cop, Huso needs to pay for this favor. Huso is disgusted but hands over a couple of diamonds and Tayyar acknowledges that must be hard for a man who loves money as much as Huso. Huso asks why Tayyar is so dressed up and he says he was at a wedding. Huso wants to know whose wedding and Tayyar says he’ll find out soon enough. Huso isn’t capable of taking care of Elif and Omer but Tayyar has a plan B.

Yep, the romance is on and Omer is lighting candles (I wonder if Arda knows Omer is using his house to make a move while he’s stuck on a very different couch…) He shuts off the lights and Elif walks into the room wondering what all this is. Omer gives her the look and starts talking about how they have to enjoy their present and how their love is so valuable. The sweet-talking works and Elmer start kissing on the couch, the kisses heat up. Elif’s sweater is coming off… looks like someone is getting some tonight after all!

They didn’t even stay on the couch; they end up in Arda’s bed and Elif wakes first and looks lovingly at Omer. She runs her fingers lightly over him and gives him a kiss while he’s still sleeping. Then she bounces up and goes to make breakfast with a smile on her face! And it’s super cute, but I just kept thinking that she’s making herself at home in someone else’s kitchen and cooking their food without permission.

 

KPA 99 part 3 of 6

Tia and Huso are having breakfast too! And it’s disturbing but almost nice somehow, lol. Tia is filling Huso in on the progress she’s made investigating Ipek’s son. They need to do a DNA test to find out if the kid is Omer’s but there’s a little problem. The places she’s looking at for the test are private and they have regulations – they need a police order in order to do the test. Huso smiles big and says this is where I come in right? Tia responds with a bravo, and tells Huso he’s a quick one. It’s time for his talents to be put to the test! (This is all well and good, but wouldn’t they also need some of the boy’s DNA to test? How are they going to get that?)

Arda and Pelo are next in our breakfast loop, and they’re fighting over whether it’s too spicy. She doesn’t like spicy; he doesn’t like sleeping on the couch; Arda thinks they’re even (this man knows nothing about how to woo a woman). Their snipping turns into a conversation about Ipek and how she named her son exactly what she and Omer always dreamed of naming their child. Arda goes over the breakup to birth timeline and the questions ask themselves. Per the usual, Arda is suspicious and Pelo wants to take everything at face value and not question her friends. They ultimately conclude that they hope the boy isn’t Omer’s because it would ruin his life AND Elif’s. Ipek calls for Pelo from the other room and they clam up fast. Ipek walks into the kitchen and lets them know that they found a guy matching the description and they want them to come into the station and see him. Off everyone goes.

Omer wakes slowly and reaches for Elif he finds nothing and panics calling out her name. He jumps up and runs into the other room (It’s very odd that he’s fully dressed and she looked mostly naked if not fully-naked and wrapped in a blanket when she woke). He’s thrilled to find her putting breakfast on the table. He kisses her and tells her that he was scared when he woke up and she wasn’t there. He thought she left. Elif wonders why she would do that, she’s very happy here with him. Omer starts the kisses again but Elif says not now, she’s making breakfast! Smart man that he is Omer sits down and starts saying that he’s not sure about the smell coming from the kitchen! Elif says to try it before he decides but Omer voices more doubt. Elif doesn’t care if he doesn’t like it because it’ll be more for her, but when she brings the dish to the table, it looks wonderful and Omer wants some. Elif gives him a tiny bit incase he doesn’t like it and it becomes clear that this isn’t just all good fun, Elif is annoyed with his criticism. Omer tries to smooth it over by pulling Elif into his lap and hugging her, but Elif gives probably the funniest Elif line ever and tells Omer that the next time he gets engaged – since we all know how much he likes to do so (LMAO) – he should just eat his fiancée’s food and keep his opinion to himself because no one wants to hear it!!! They start bickering and it quickly leads to Elif backing away from Omer and Omer chasing her to couch where he catches and tickles her.

Tia Nedret is back home and Felice brings her some tea. Tia asks her to go wake Nilu so she can go into the office with her. Nilu claims she loves to work but she never has time to. Tia scoffs and Felice goes off to fetch Nilu, has she made it back?

Omer and Elif are leaving the house and they have to leave Elif’s car there since it has a mechanical issue (?). Omer is going to drive Elif home but she wants to go somewhere else first. Omer asks Elif if she’s talked to Nilu and Elif says no, I figured you called her since your such good friends now. Omer can’t believe it, could she still be asleep?

 

KPA 99 part 4 of 6

Nilu is still on the boat so Felice isn’t going to find her. There’s a nice breakfast tray on her bed but it doesn’t look like she’s touched it. She looks at her phone in her purse and Omer is calling. Before she can decide whether to answer, Fatih is beside her kissing her neck. Nilu pushes away and says she thought he was going to be patient. Fatih says he wishes she could see his soul and his heart to know how he feels. Nilu wishes the same, then she would know whether or not her new husband truly loved her. Fatih can’t believe she still doubts but Nilu wants him to do something for her. She wants to move in with Tayyar like he suggested!! Fatih says no way, they need their own life and home; the further away from Tayyar Dundar the better! Nilu says she’s scared, Elif and co. will do whatever they can to separate them and if they are at Tayyar’s house he will protect them. Fatih answers that HE will protect Nilu but Nilu says he’s hiding from Omer and living as a fugitive. They need more protection, please Fatih. Fatih doesn’t want to consider it and Nilu says it’s only their first day of marriage and already he isn’t listening to her needs or fears; if this is the way it’s going to be, what is the point? Fatih grabs Nilu’s arm roughly and tells her not to threaten him again with ruining their happiness, she won’t like the consequences.

Elif has brought Omer to see her surprise, their new house!! I think it’s the same house, it’s the same color. The realtor is there and says Elif called just in time, he had other offers but he didn’t like any of them. The house is theirs! Omer is thrilled!!

Cann is running out of the house as Asli is trying to stop him to help him with his backpack. Cann says Asli is a bad mother who should have woken him earlier. The bus is almost here and he’s going to miss it. Asli says Cann should have taken responsibility for himself and set an alarm. (Truth, that boy is too old to need mommy to wake him up!) Cann runs off and Asli yells out hurry. Felice and Nedret are now both outside and coming up the stairs as Cann flies down them. Asli notices and asks what’s wrong. Tia tells her that she’s looking for Nilu because she wanted to take her to work but she can’t find her. No one knows where she is and she isn’t answering Tia’s calls. Asli looks worried.

Elif is talking a mile a minute about all the things she wants to do with the house. She keeps asking Omer what he thinks but all he says is whatever you want. Their excitement is interrupted when the realtor comes to give them the account details. The amount they owe is higher than Omer expected and he asks if the price was raised but the guy says no. He just forgot to tell them about the deposit, he apologizes. Omer is very distraught and Elif calls out to him softly telling him that they will figure it out. Omer smiles and says Elif is right they’ll work it out. He shakes the guy’s hand and he leaves. They smile again and next they are outside and Elif is taking pictures of the house with a smile while Omer is looking worried and preoccupied with his phone. He’s working on a text, maybe to Nilu again but I can’t see the name. He tells Elif she’s taking 10 pictures of the same thing but Elif says it’s different angles and details. She’s a designer and needs lots of pictures, does she interfere in Omer’s job? Omer is kind and only points out one-time Elif has interfered but he might as well have said only when you’re awake. Elif’s taxi arrives and she’s headed home to change and then go to work. She says to call her if he finds out anything about the suspect or Ipek’s son, you know because she doesn’t interfere in his job at all.

 

KPA 99 part 5 of 6

Omer is headed to his car after Elif leaves and Nilu finally calls. She has locked herself alone in the bedroom. Omer wants to know why she hasn’t answered any of his messages or texts and Nilu says she couldn’t respond because she married Fatih last night! They are going to move into Tayyar’s house and she’ll get the Cd. Omer is livid, he wants her out of there NOW but Nilu says no, the plan is underway. If she leaves now Fatih will suspect her and they both know what he is capable of. Omer is still trying to talk Nilu down but she’s not listening. She’s going to do this for her family and Omer has to let her. Nilu hangs up as Omer is cursing.

Elif is in the cab looking at the house photos when she receives a voice message from Nilu. It’s a group message and Asli and Tia are hearing it to. Nilu tells her dear family that she knows the news is going to upset them but last night she made the decision to marry the man that she loves, Fatih. She asks them to please respect her decision and let her be happy if they don’t want to lose her love and respect. Asli is shaken and Tia is worried, Nilu is crying.

Next, we see Nilu and Fatih touring the house and Nilu pretends not to like the room upstairs. She wants the room next to Tayyar’s office! The light is better there, an ironic choice since the room she’s standing in is all windows! Fatih looks uncomfortable and perhaps a little suspicious. Tayyar tries to tell Nilu that he sometimes works late and has guests, she won’t get good rest in that room but Nilu insists she’s used to a loud family and people coming and going, it’ll be fine. She calls Tayyar Tio, but then quickly amends it to papa and it does the trick. Nilu can have whatever she wants when she’s calling him papa!!! Fatih looks like the wheels in his head are spinning.

Elif shows up to Tayyar’s house banging on the closed doors and demanding to see Nilu! Nilu hears her and is afraid to face her sister but Fatih is all for having a chat with his sis-in-law. Tayyar talks him out of it though and tells him that Elif is too upset, Tayyar will deal with her first. Fatih agrees. Tayyar comes out and starts mocking Elif for not bringing her gun this time. Elif wants Nilu now but Tayyar says that Nilu is an adult who made her own choice. Elif says no way, Nilu would never willingly marry Fatih. These two go back and forth and Tayyar enjoys sticking it to Elif about not being invited to the wedding. Elif says her sister will never stay with Tayyar’s beast of a son! Omer is pulling up as Elif continues to demand to see Nilu and is all up in his face grabbing onto his shirt and hitting him. Omer pulls her away.

Tayyar tells Omer to get Elif out of here before he forgets he’s a gentleman and Omer says not to provoke him. Tayyar is done with these two and tells his guards to show them out but when one grabs Elif, Omer hits him, as Elif screams not to touch her. Omer warns they better not touch either one of them or he’ll have them arrested for assaulting a police officer. This gives the guards and Tayyar pause. Omer says they aren’t leaving without talking to Nilu, so either Tayyar sends her out or they’ll find a way in. On that note, Asli and Nedret arrive and Tayyar makes a sarcastic comment about the family picture being complete. Tayyar greets Nedret like a long-lost friend but she basically tells him to cut the crap so they can get down to business. The street isn’t the place to discuss this and surprisingly Tayyar agrees and welcomes all of the family into the house! As the children walk on ahead, Tayyar tells Nedret that Elif is rude and behaves badly but Nedret is the one who is truly in charge of their family she should teach her to behave. Elif won’t listen to him but maybe she’ll listen to her. Nedret looks very serious and says nothing.

 

KPA 99 part 6 of 6

Elif, Asli and Omer arrive in the living room and are pacing, Nilu comes in holding Fatih’s hand. She looks around cautiously. Fatih says ‘Hello dear sister-in-law’ (weird since two of his sis’s-in-law were in the room but he might not have seen Asli at first since she was kind of holding the wall up) and there’s a moment of stillness between him and Elif as they size each other up. Elif launches at him saying she’s going to kill him! Fatih makes a joke about her being aggressive as he grabs her hands to get her off him. Omer warns Fatih not to touch her and next these two are at each other’s throats. Nilu says enough, this isn’t right. Elif tries to drag Nilu out of the room, maybe to talk alone or maybe just to leave; but Nilu is going nowhere. She doubles down on her messaging from the voicemail, she loves her husband and her family needs to respect her decision. Husband? Elif spits, you choose to marry into the family that killed our father? Elif says if this is Nilu’s choice then she’s dead to her. She’s no longer her sister! She will never ever forgive her for this! Fatih says to be careful how she’s talking to his wife and there’s another tense look between Fatih and Omer but Omer says nothing. He tells Elif and Asli it’s time to go. Asli looks thunderstruck but follows Omer. Nilu is barely holding in tears but as both her sisters disappear down the stairs and Omer turns to look at her, she mouths, ‘I’m okay’.

Omer turns and leaves as well and there our episode ends.
