I will repeat my question that I left at the tail end of Part 1 of this week's blog. Does anyone remember why we don't discuss show previews broadcast after an episode on Caray? They are part of the network presentation. I recall that the Game of Thrones blogs did discuss previews , and Below Deck recaps, and other show recaps, do discuss previews. All these shows stream. The previews entice people to watch the next episode.

Way back, decades probably, the people who created the Telemundo area of the Caray, Caray pages did not like comments about what had not yet happened but had been shown in a preview. As I said in my post, it's clearly in the text of each page put up twice weekly. For one thing, they are often deliberately misleading. And speaking for myself as an individual, I really like cliffhangers and the suspense that's often at the end of an episode. It's been the norm for a very long time.

#50 part 1

Seyran joins Ferit on the dance floor. Abidin follows them around. They finally get Ferit to sit down and he immediately downs another shot. Seyra suggests that he take it easy on the drinking. Don’t worry, Ferit replies, Suna swore she wouldn’t drink tonight, so we’re fine. Tonight I’m all yours, karıcığım. Seyran grabs the next shot out of Ferit’s hand and drinks it. It goes down rough. Ferit applauds her. That’s it! Relax! We came here for fun. He tells her to come sit next to him.

Defne comes over to greet them. Welcome, kids. How are you? Ferit laughs, kids? We’re fine, Aunt Defne, how are you? Can I say something? Your clothes are just… wow. Seyran apologizes to her and says that Ferit has had a lot to drink. I noticed, Defne replies, btw, did you like the photos? Seyran and Suna say they loved them. We chose 2 photos, Seyran says, I’ll text you tomorrow.

Ferit doesn’t want to talk about the photos. He turns to Defne, can I ask you something? How did you meet my father? I want to know the story. It’s not very exciting, Defne says, it would only upset you and you’d drink more, so let’s not talk about it. Ferit replies, just seeing you is upsetting enough, so tell me. Defne leans over to Seyran, be careful with your husband, the alarm bells are ringing. She gets up and says she’ll check back later.

Seyran is ticked at Ferit for being so rude to Defne. How could you say something like that to the woman? Ferit asks, what did I say? But don’t worry, I’ll tell her how I really feel later. Seyran tells Suna this is going to be trouble. Ferit takes another drink.

A server comes over and gives Ferit a lemon soda from Defne Hanim. Ferit is offended and laughs. Look at Defne Hanim, she’s acting like my stepmother. Ferit asks Abidin to give him money. Looked like at least 200 TL. Ferit gives it to the server. Tell Defne Hanim that Ferit Bey does not drink soda with lemon. If she’s that desperate to take care of me, she can come here and give it to me herself. Okay? Hadi.

Ferit shouts, I’m fine, okay Defne Hanim? Okay? Abi and Seyran get Ferit to sit down. This is really putting a damper on the evening. Suna asks Abi, is Ferit always like this? No, Abi replies, this is too much. I don’t understand. Ferit is in bad shape and he suggests going somewhere else because he’s bored.

Seyran gives a “let’s leave” nod to Abi. Suna has to use the restroom first and Abi accompanies her. Seyran tries to get Ferit to talk about what’s upsetting him. She holds his hand. Tell me what it is, you’ll feel better. Ferit isn’t sure that would make him feel better. Seyran is worried and continues to press for an explanation. He says he can’t find the words to explain.

Is it something embarrassing, Seyran asks. Ferit says yes, very much so. She asks, is it because of something you did? He doesn’t understand the question. She replies, did you do something that can’t be fixed? Tell me. [maybe she’s thinking about Sultan.] I won’t be upset. We’ve been through a lot, and you can tell me anything. You can trust me. Ferit says, it’s not about me. It has nothing to do with me. She asks, then what is it? Something happened when you went downstairs. Did you fight with your father?

Ferit takes another drink… I saw… I saw my father… Seyran asks, what do you mean you saw him? [I think she realizes what he saw.] He answers, with my aunt. They were… Seyran is silent. He leans back in his chair. No matter how much I drink, it won’t be enough. How could something like this happen? Would you have thought something like this?

#50 part 2

Seyran remains silent. Ferit continues, if someone told me this, I’d have said they lost their mind. But I saw them with my own eyes. Ferit wonders why Seyran is looking at him so strangely. Aren’t you going to say anything? She tears up and confesses, Ferit… I knew. What did you know, he asks. I saw them, she replies, before… a long time ago. I’m sorry.

Ferit takes his hand away from Seyran and says, you saw something like that… Are you kidding me? You knew and kept it from me? He jumps out of his seat. She answers, I didn’t know how… he interrupts, how to what? How could you keep this from me? How was I supposed to tell you, she asks. The same way I told you, he replies.

Ferit is irate. Who are you, he asks, my friend or my enemy? How could you keep this from me? [Seyran was damned either way she handled it. Maybe she shouldn’t have confessed, but she has a hard time lying.]

Seyran jumps up and says, let’s go someplace else and talk about this. Ferit pushes her away. I’m not going anywhere. You go. She tries to speak… Ferit… Ferit yok (there is no Ferit), he shouts, Leave! Suna and Abi walk in on this, and wonder what happened. Suna jumps all over Ferit for treating Seyran like this. Seyran says it’s okay. Suna replies, it’s not okay. She asks Ferit, what is your problem? Come to your senses! Stop drinking!

Ferit asks Abi to take Seyran and Suna away before things get worse. Suna calls Ferit ill-mannered and tells Seyran to get her bag and they’ll go. Defne is nearby watching and listening. Ferit asks Suna, how quickly did you forget the days when things were worse for you? Did you forget what you said and did to me? What’s the harm? What could happen? You’re allowed to do it, but I’m not?

Abi steps in and tells Ferit that’s enough. I feel sorry for you, Suna says, you’re disgusting. She tells Seyran, let’s go! Hurry up! Defne asks the ladies, did something happen? She asks Seyran, are you alright? I’m fine, Seyran answers and wipes her eyes, but Ferit isn’t. Can you please look after him? Abi looks pissed at Ferit. Seyran makes a last attempt to get Ferit to leave with her. He tells her to go, or he will do something he’ll regret. Abi tells Ferit to wait there and he’ll be back.

Ferit sits and so does Defne. He calls Pelin. She’s over at Serter’s place. They sitting on the couch, drinking wine. Her phone is not next to her, so she doesn’t hear it. Serter makes a move and Pelin doesn’t respond. She looks nervous. He tries again. She gets up and apologizes. He’s frustrated but he apologizes and tells her it’s okay. He goes to make coffee.

Pelin checks her phone there are texts from Ferit: Are you home? We need to talk urgently. I’m coming over. She texts: I’m out. He texts: Tomorrow at two o'clock, go to the café in Bebek. She turns off her phone. Ferit tries to call her again.

Defne moves next to Ferit. A server brings drinks. She drinks. She notes that he stopped drinking. Ferit picks up a glass—what’s this? You said you wouldn’t drink lemon soda, she replies. They clink glasses and drink. [is this wise, Defne?] I didn’t say I wouldn’t drink it, he answers, I said “she should come and give me the drink herself”. You will not be able to drink such pure things from my hands, she tells him. He warns, don’t say that, it will upset my mother. Defne says, no, not if it were with me.

Ferit asks why. Because she took my father from you? Defne asks, is that what you were told? Ferit says he figured it out for himself. She says, your father was a womanizer (çapkın). He was even called “the mansion’s womanizer” (yalı çapkın). Whoever he was with, the thought of marriage never crossed his mind. And I never considered marrying him.

Ferit is amazed [I don’t know why.] I thought I knew my father, but I’m always finding more out about him. This applies to everyone, Defne says, of course children see their parents differently. And fathers are very important to their sons, aren’t they? Because they look up to him, they admire him, they want to be like him. Ferit laughs, that might be true, but my father can’t compare to me when it comes to womanizing.

Defne asks, how do you know? Ferit says he’s just guessing. Then you are wrong, she replies. He tells her, you don’t know me yet. But I know your father, she says. And I’m telling you that I’m better than him, he replies. She asks, you’re more of a womanizer? Ferit answers in English—yessss. Defne says, well since you’re so confident, do something that will convince me. [Defne Teyze you are playing with fire.]

Ferit sips his drink. He looks around. Maybe he’s looking for a target. But then he looks over at Defne and settles next to her. He suddenly reaches out to kiss her. She recoils. Whoa… champ. Take it easy. I’m not like your wife or friends from college. Calm down. Ferit smiles, and what if I don’t? Defne responds, don’t even think about it. Ferit answers, don’t you think about it?

Defne looks thrown off. Ha, for a second there, she might have thought about it. She snaps out of it and scoffs. Ferit asks, what happened? You were so self-confident a minute ago. I asked you a question. Answer me. She tells Ferit he’s playing with fire. [Really. Whose fire? I think Defne opened herself up to this. Neyse…] Ferit laughs and says, well, there’s ice on the table… so nothing will happen. They both laugh.

Seyran is very upset on the ride home. Suna tries to get her to say what happened. There’s nothing to say, she answers, Ferit is the same as always. Abi asks, did someone say something, do something, while we were away? Seyro responds, does there have to be a reason for Ferit to be an idiot? But it’s my fault. I’m an idiot, too. I hate him. Look at the situation he put us in and for you, too. Abi says it was clear from the beginning that this would happen. He was out of his mind. I’ll take you home and go back for him. That’s if you find him where you left him, Seyran says, he’s probably gone to Pelin already. Suna doubts that. Seyran says it would be no surprise if you knew him.

Ferit and Defne keep drinking. Defne suddenly gets up and says goodnight. He asks, you’re leaving? Yes, she says, and I hope you won’t ask me to stay. That’s exactly what I will do, he answers. He tries to pull her back. She tells him to go home. You’ve got a sweet, beautiful wife. Don’t make her worry. Ferit hands her his phone and asks for her number in case he needs it. She hands it right back.

Abi arrives at the yali. Seyran asks him he will go right back and get Ferit. Yes, he says, but you should try to call him. I don’t know why he’s so angry, but only you can calm him down. Abi leaves. Suna says, we’re alone now. Please explain what happened. Seyran just keeps walking.

Sultan opens the door for the ladies. She tells them Ifakat is waiting in the living room. Sultan asks, didn’t Ferit Bey return with you? Seyran is triggered. Pardon? She gets in Sultan’s face. What’s this about him not returning with me? Sultan says she was just curious. Seyro tells her MYOB.

#50 part 4

Ifakat enters. What’s wrong? Is there a problem? She motions to Sultan to leave. She asks, where is Ferit? He didn’t come back, Seyran replies, he’s still having fun. Are you kidding me, Ifakat asks. First, you leave without telling us, and then you leave him someplace alone, as if you don’t know him.

What will happen to my husband, Seyran fires back, will immoral women set their eyes on him, a married man? Ifakat warns her to watch her language and mind her manners. Seyran says she’s just trying to understand. Did I disrespect you? Ifakat warns, your tongue is getting too long. Seyran marches upstairs.

Suna goes to follow but Ifakat sharply calls her back. Let her go. Let her talk all she wants. That’s why ever since you got here, I told you to put some distance between your sister and you. If not, her actions will affect you. Ifakat walks away. Suna gets teary.

Seyran goes up to her room. She’s very upset. She makes a phone call. Is she calling Ferit? She puts the phone down and thinks.

We see Defne at home. The doorbell rings. She has a satisfied look on her face. She opens the door and Ferit is there. He’s smiling. I’ve been expecting you, she says, come inside. Ferit stops dead in his tracks when he reaches the living room. Seyran is there. [this was the end of Turkish ep 16.]

Ferit stares at Seyran. Seyran looks nervous. She thanks Defne. Ferit turns to Defne, who explains, when Seyran called to ask how you were doing, I told her the truth. Seyran was worried when I told her you weren’t well and that I tried to convince you to go home. I thought you could resolve your problems here before going home.

Ferit applauds them both. Bravo, what a great idea, he snarks, way to team up. What else did you plan behind my back? I was worried, Seyran says, so Defne Hanim helped me, that’s all. Let’s sit and talk. Why are you pressuring me, Ferit asks, don’t you know me? This is how I am when I’m upset. I don’t want to hurt you, but you don’t understand. I want to be alone. Alone! Why don’t you understand?

I do, but I worry about you, Seyran says, I’m scared for you. I’m afraid you might do something, something might happen to you, do you understand? Defne says she’ll give them privacy. Try to resolve this, but not by shouting. Ferit asks Seyran, since when did you get so friendly with this woman? Seyran says please don’t shout, it’s embarrassing. He replies, you should have thought about that before coming here.

I know you’re upset with me, Seyran says, but you’re behaving as if it’s her fault. Don’t do this. The truth is you’re not really upset with me. We both know who’s to blame. You’re wrong, Ferit replies, I am upset with you. How could you hide something like that from me? She asks, would you have believed me? I could hardly believe it. I thought I might have imagined it. Let’s talk about it again.

When did we discuss this before, Ferit asks, because I don’t remember anything. Fine, she says, then I guess there’s nothing to talk about, if this is what you want. Scream and yell until morning, but I won’t leave you alone tonight. Can we please go home together? He replies, are you kidding? Go home? If I see my father in this state, what do you think I’d do? Did you think of that? Or if I see my aunt? Or worse, my mother. I don’t even know how to act now. How can you be so calm?

Seyran answers, because I’ve already gone through what you have, Ferit. I couldn’t look at them or tell anyone what I saw. Can you try to understand me? Understand? He asks, shouldn’t you be trying to understand me? Who are these people to you? How long have you known them? It’s my father, mother, and aunt. They have always been a part of my life. She nods. I’ll be quiet. But yelling at me won’t fix anything. Be upset, but don’t do this to me. It won’t solve anything. Talk to me and we can find a way out together.

Ferit calms down. He sits and laments, nothing will ever be the same. It will never be how it used to be. You can’t imagine how much hate I’m feeling. I hate them so much. How could they do this? What’s going to happen? Will they get divorced? What will my grandfather do when he finds out? How will talking help me forget this, Seyran? Nothing can help.

Seyran sits and puts her arm around his shoulder. She asks, do you think it’s better not to talk about it? You want to keep it all in your head and avoid it? Let’s give it a try if you think that’s better. But it won’t be. You have to go home eventually and share a table with them. So avoiding won’t help. I won’t go back, at least for tonight, he replies, no one can force me to go back to that house.

Defne comes back and tells them they can stay the night in the guest room. Don’t go home this late. Seyran thinks they should go home. It will be a problem if they aren’t there in the morning. Ferit says he doesn’t care. Let them dare to say something after what I saw. Ferit will not change his mind and tells Seyran she can go if she wants. He’s staying.

Defne says they should stay. She offers to go to the yali with them in the morning. She’d like to see Gulgun. We can show her the photos and see what she thinks. Ferit pipes up, great idea, just what I want right now is to have breakfast with all of you together. Seyran decides to stay.

Defne has something for Seyran to wear but nothing for Ferit. He says it’s not necessary. Seyran smiles and says Ferit is used to falling asleep like this. Defne tells them she will be in the other room if they need anything, she still has work to do. Good night. She closes the door. Ferit mutters, good night, Defne Teyzeciğim.

Uh oh, one double bed. Ferit climbs right in. Seyran stands there. Look at this situation, she says. Tell everyone who is responsible for this, he replies. She looks around. He looks at her and says, I’m sorry, but I can’t deal with your bed nonsense right now. Okay, she answers, I didn’t say anything. She sighs. Can you turn around so I can change?

Ferit turns to one side. Seyran shuts the light and changes. She sits in a chair and tries to get comfortable. She hears Ferit crying and decides to get into the bed. She tentatively puts her arm over him. He takes her hand and holds it close. He cries, I’m sorry, Seyran. I’m sorry.

Next morning, Latif knocks on Ifakat’s door. She asks, has something happened? It’s a bit early for a visit. Latif apologizes and says there will be a guest at breakfast. Gulgun Hanim’s friend. I wanted to let you know. Ifakat is ticked. Why didn’t you tell me sooner? Ferit Bey called, Latif replies, he told me he and Seyran Hanim stayed out. Abidin went to pick them up.

Seyran came back last night, Ifakat notes, when did she leave? Whose permission did she get? She simply left, Latif says, we were all sleeping. She didn’t say anything. I was informed early this morning. That’s not how things are done, she scolds. Latif replies sternly, you shouldn’t be saying these things to me, but to the bride that Halis Aga entrusted to you. Don’t confuse me with Sultan Hanim. Be careful.

And we are out.

*Sue is playing with fire by staying at the Cruz house of horrors, much to Zahie's disappointment.

*Wondering if Eugenio & Zahie will be a couple at the end? 🤔

*Slippery Cruz gets confronted with lots of reporters & photographers.

*Buji Goldie Locks keeps messing around & finding out OMG.

*More of the Maury Povich bombshell on Clingy Miranda blurting out Lobo is Renata's father.

*Adela is in serious danger after Jackass Big Ed's thugs attack her.

Dondi, I haven't watched this episode yet, but it sounds exciting. You are right, Seyran was definitely in a damned if you do damned if you don't situation. I still say Seyran and Ferit should have stayed at the cabin and worked on their marriage and getting to know each other better.

I was happy to see this news about LRDS, my favorite Spanish language novela, but then I wondered if a 4th season will uphold the standard. Let’s hope so.

I also saw they are filming Sin Seños Si #4. I have the same thoughts as LRDS.

Thanks for letting us know, Anastasia. A baseball game sounds great. I don't have anyone in my circle of friends who likes sports. Last year I went to a Giants game with a guy who has season tickets. He's from my Spanish class, married to a fine woman, and just wanted to treat me. They won! This year they're off to a really rough start.

Well, Defne is redeemed. The writers were sort of leading me by the nose that she might have a thing for Ferit. From what I've now seen, it seems to be her motive was looking after a good friend's child.

Excellent point that, when Seyran was trying to get Ferit to open up about what was bothering him, that Seyran might have been thinking it was guilt about Sultan. BTW, wonder when that shoe will ever drop?

Ay! Ferit is such a mess. I had been dying for Seyran to tell him she also got a glimpse of what's going on with Orhan and Ifakat. I thought it might be comforting to Ferit, but no. He goes right to Level 10 and blames Seyran for not telling him before.

Suna goes all big sister on Ferit. It's nice to see her feisty and not cowed.

Seyran is growing up and coming into her own. She shut Sultan down, going full Lady of the Manor on her. And soon after, when Ifakat tried her usual bullying about Ferit not coming home, she laid into her asking if she was worried about immoral women going after her husband. Score!!

I must say I feel glee when Ifakat gets put in her place. Seyran wasn't taking any BS and neither was Latif. I'm glad Suna seemed to have gone to her room instead of sticking around for another brainwashing session with Ifakat.

Ep #52, part 2

Eugenio goes to see Zahie. Zahie tells him a little about Sue's situation. He wants to 'investigate" to help Sue. Zahie wonders aloud if he is a cop. He denies it. They kiss and go to a private room to talk, as Zahie put it.

Cruz leaves his office and has to run the gauntlet of journalists asking pointed questions. In the restroom, his p.r. flak Augustin is there. Cruz tasks Augustin with working on his image for his campaign. Augustin says the current situation is more than he reckoned on, and he quits. Cruz (forgetting to maintain his composure) threatens Augustin!

Cruz arrives home and Cruz and Leonor fight. She questions his manhood and he slaps her. They mutually kick each other out of the house. Cruz calls Cocula to have him kill Adela and Antonia discretely. He asks him not to tell Azufrero about this task.

Antonia and Lobo travel to see a DNA specialist. Adela will be spending the night alone in her home. She thinks Cruz wouldn't dare touch her (harm her).

Leonor goes to see Azufrero. Azu threatens to kill Cruz, and Leonor doesn't care. She is there to request that Azu does not harm her sons. And she has a piece of news for Azufrero. She tells him that Graciela is the one who sold him out.

Three henchmen sneak into Adela's house. One may be Cocula - can't tell as their faces are masked. One henchman puts a plastic bag over Adela's face. End episode.

Anastasia, looks like Part 1 of your recap went into the void that sometimes happens on Telemundo. For some reason, Juanita is the only one with the capacity to find and restore these. I sent her an email and hope Part 1 appears in the morning. We're both in CA, but I'm night people and she's early riser.

(Third attempt to post )

Lobo is shocked when Miranda tells him Renata is his daughter. He thinks Miranda is trying to manipulate him into staying with Miranda and Renata. When the idea sinks in, he tells Miranda that if Ren is proved to be his daughter, he will protect her from Miranda. He will remove her from Miranda's custody. Later, Lobo tells Antonia that Renata is his daughter. (It is good to see that he is excited.) Antonia is also on board. She recalls that Renata went through all kinds of medical tests earlier, and the doctor can help, since he has her DNA. She uses Hugo's police powers to get Renata's medical file. (I wonder. Anyone know how the doctor can possibly have a sample of Renata's DNA? Or a sample that is still viable?)

Miranda has to tell Alejandro that Lobo is the father of Renata. The whole situation now makes more sense to Alejandro. He says that now would be a good time to head for San Isidro (or San Ysidro) where the treasure caches are, to keep Renata and Lobo apart.

Sue and Zahie go to the hospital to talk to the doctor that did Sue's D&C. The Doctora tells Sue the truth, that abortifacients were found in the aborted material, and even says that Leonor told the doctor to tell Nacho that is was a spontaneous (natural) abortion. Sue wants to confront Mrs. Cruz, but Zahie tells her to wait because the Cruz's are dangerous.

Leonor forbids Cesar from seeing Misael. Not because they are gay, but because Misael is the son of a crook.

Azufrero is of course upset that Antonia has been freed from jail. He asks Cocula and Tuqueque to investigate why Antonia was released. Remedios brings Misael home, with the lie that Misael has given up boys.

Cruz pushes back on being suspended from his position. He will sue Adela for defamation. (My question is why the federal lawyer didn't immediately escort Cruz out of the building. That is what happens many other employees with computer access. ) Cruz threatens Adela as he is going out the door and they have a confrontation. He will be on the attack against Adela and Antonia.

 

To clarify - Leonor tells Azufrero that Graciela recorded Azufrero saying that he and Antonia were NOT associates. He only made the video saying they were to get revenge for Anta shooting him in the leg.

 

I've published Part 1 three times now. Keeps disappearing.

Key point is that Lobo, after getting Renata's DNA from a doctor that treated her, will do a DNA test. Then he will take custody of Renata away from Miranda.

Cruz vows revenge on Adela and Antonia for his suspension from his DA position.

Anastasia, Novelera called my attention to your missing Part 1, so I went to look for it and found it. I indicated that it was NOT spam and should be posted, and it's now up. Alas, not quite where it should be (since it's part 1), but at least it's up.

I think I know what happened to your disappearing posts. The censors sometimes remove my posts and it seems to be because of a word i often use. It’s in your last paragraph starting “(My question is why the federal lawyer didn’t immediately WORD Cruz….”

It’s a perfectly good word but can be used referring to a profession that might be illegal. It starts with “es” and ends with “rt”

It’s always in my removed posts. I try to avoid using it but sometimes I slip.

Anastasia, I'm happy Juanita was able to put Part 1 back. That was a very interesting episode, and you definitely did it justice!

I'm very glad Sué has Zahie as her confidante. I guess I could leave off the accent mark on her name, but ever since she was introduced, I got in the habit. I suppose that's done because in Spanish one would never say "soo". I am also enjoying Zahie being the exact opposite of every brothel madam we've ever seen in a telenovela. She's actually kind! I vaguely remember Eugenio saying something about spending time with her to get information, but he's doing a good job of enjoying her company!

That was a good point about Cruz not being frog marched out of the Fiscalía.

I guess I didn't think twice about there being some DNA of Renata available to Lobo and Antonia. IIRC this would have been obtained when the ophthalmologist did "whatever" to those mysterious eyes.

At one point didn't Lobo rag on Miranda for doing something to Renata's eyes so as to get the big bucks? This whole thing about her eyes has been very woo-woo.

Babachita, this censoring or whatever it is has driven Juanita and me nuts for a very long time. What I just noticed is that your most recent post was as Anonymous. I believe you use a blogger identity when you post your golden recaps. Again, just scratching my head about the mystery. Since it's never happened to me, I suppose there's a remote possibility that my having some sort of account on the blogger app, a thing I had to achieve with a google email address so as to be one of the people putting up the pages twice a week, could account for my immunity.

It has happened both when I post from my phone (Anon) and my computer with my google id.

So far, that word is the only trigger. I have used other words that I think might get removed but they aren’t. I am more careful now with my words.

I wonder if the offending word might seem connected to trafficking or something. But trafficking is OK, IIRC.

When I am typing on my computer keyboard, it's English punctuation only. On my phone, I can do Sué and Cócula easily. Still can't do upsidedown question and exclamation marks easily.

 

Thank you, Juanita, for finding Part 1. A few minutes ago, I posted a thank you, using the perfectly good English word that Babachita says is verboten. It showed up on the blog for a couple of minutes and now it's gone. Ridiculous. Oh well.
