Notes from the Couch The "Racing Along" edition
LA RATA DE DOS PATAS (The Two-legged Rat)
Marcos gets a call from the fertility clinic. He failed to come to his appointment last week for tests. They are calling him to reschedule.
VALE GETS HER WISH
Joaquín gives Vale permission to race with three conditions: she has to be responsible/she has to let them know when she is leaving the house and where she is going/she has to keep up her good grades. She agrees. She is to start training today. They hug and she gives him a kiss on the cheek.
Joaquín thanks a surprised Diego for having the talk about Vale racing. He has decided to give Vale permission to race. Diego is happy. Kassandra overhears and thinks that Joaquín is committing a serious mistake. She seems outraged that he did't follow her advice. Joaquín explains that he asked many people for their opinion and then made his own decision. Kassandra thinks it will cause problems. Joaquín tells her not to be offended when when he doesn't do what he says. She pays lip service to his decision saying she hopes it all turns out well.
Joaquín informs Facundo and Marcos of his decision. Vale will be joining the in practice and he wants them to look out for her. Facundo asks how far is Joaquín going to go with Vale. Joaquín makes it clear it depends on her performance. Marcos thinks she might end up surprising them all. Joaquín notices that something is bothering Marcos. He says everything is fine.
Eleazar is concerned by his place on the team with Vale now training. Facundo tells him not to worry because he is irreplaceable. Any woman next to him doesn't have a chance. He thinks it would be perfect for Hugo to train her. That way Eleazar can stay focused on his own training. He tells his son to humiliate Vale on the track and reaffirm his place on the team.
Vale brings home the good news to Vero and Carmen. She thanks Vero for having supported her. Vero says she would do whatever she could to see he happy. Vale goes to get changed. Carmen dampens the mood when she remembers that when Luis raced, everyone prayed for him. She hands Vero a prayer/holy card so they can pray for Vale.
Joaquín appears and Vero tells him she has never seen Vero so happy. Joaquín gets it because he has also had the same passion. Vero would have loved to have seen him race. He says you have to be a little crazy to race. As he looks her in her eyes, he says still sometimes he would like to do something crazy like take the biggest risk of his life. She asks what would that risk be.. He explains it would be what his heart is shouting at him to do. She gets nervous. He adds that he knows he shouldn't. The conversation ends with Vale appearing ready to leave for the track. Vale invites Vero to come. Sure it is okay with Joaquín. Vero says YES!

He stresses that this is not a race but only a practice. There is no pressure. She sees it differently. She has to convince Joaquín. that she can race. As Hugo takes off his shirt to change, she tells him she better go or she will fall in love and he is Nayeli's. What is more he is like a brother to her. She will see him on the track.
Eleazar stops by to make fun of Hugo having overheard how Vale sent him to the friend category. Hugo says nothing and goes to open his locker. The door is stuck and when he does finally pull it open it hits him just above his eye and he starts bleeding. Eleazar tries to help him.
Vale is on the track wondering where Hugo is. Eleazar says he is in the infirmary. She cannot train alone. He is her only choice or she won't be ale to train at all
Eleazar gives Vale some basic information about the course and how to handle certain curves and hills. He makes it clear that he seriously wants to help her. He is her companion today on the track.
Facundo stops by the house to see Vero and when Carmen tells him she is not there he remarks that she was stolen from him. Carmen warns him against stealing Vero during work hours. Vero is with Joaquín. Facundo thinks that it is evident that the boss is giving preferential treatment to Vero. Carmen asks what is he trying to insinuate and says she has to get back to work. She closes the door on him.
Joaquín and Vero sit in the stands . They compare themselves to two nervous parents. It is a surprise when they see Eleazar as her guide. Joaquín wonder if he did the right thing allowing her to race. Vero reminds him that this is her passion. He now understands why you have to give your children wings. Vero smiles as they watch Vale race and cheer her on. Vale races through the course successfully.
Joaquín grabs Vero and hugs her holding her head close to him. She looks up at him and he thanks her for being there. Sh says she will always be where he and Vale are. They almost kiss but Vale stops by celebrating her successful run. Eleazar says she did a super good job and will be a great rival in competitions.
Joaquín, Vero, Vale and Eleazar all end up at the snack bar for some food and to celebrate. Joaquín thanks Eleazar for covering for Hugo. Eleazar reminds him they are all part of the same team which seems to please Joaquín.

Both Eleazar and Joaquín suggest he go see his eye specialist since the cut is so close to his eye. Hugo agrees and make it clear that he has been going to all of his eye appointments. Of course, both Hugo and Eleazar start to give Vale advice. Joaquín is grateful to both of them for wanting to help Vale. Vero asks them to take care of her Vale, too.
OLGA HAS HER SNIFFER WORKING
Olga is curious about this woman that Iván is interested in. She aha a right to know who she is since Majo will be meeting her. He makes it clear that he doesn't heave a relationship with any woman but he has feelings like he NEVER has had before. She is insulted. He reminds her that they were so young that love was clearly some thing else. She asks if he is in love. He doesn't see being in love having anything to do with it. She cannot allow herself to believe it. It is all one of his dramas. He shakes his head.
Olga tells Romina that she found out hat Iván like somebody and that she has to be somebody in the office. Romina has no idea of who that could be. Olga thinks she has to be close by. Iván has changed so much. He is so sensitive.
Iván sees Romina crying in the break room She wats to talk and asks iim if he is in love. He nods. She asks if it is her. He says that is obvious that it is her. He has loved her from the first time he saw her. She tells him that Marcos is thinking that she doesn't want to have a child with him. She has realized that he is right. Iván asks her if she is in love with him. She trembles telling Iván that eh is making her nervous and reminds him that they are friends. She is married. She is having a crisis in her marriage. Of course, she is going to be attracted to Iván. She is having problems with her husband and if Iván is her friend, he will help her. Marcos knows that Iván feels things for her and she is afraid that Marcos will think that she feels things for Iván, too. Iván asks if she doesn't feel things for him. After a long pause, she says that she doesn't. She loves how Iván treats her but reminds him that she is a faithful wife. She would really like for them to continue being friends. That is very important to her. He nods. She leaves. He looks sad.
THE TRUTH STINGS AURELIO
Nico sees Consuelo at the neighborhood shrine and they talk. She says she is praying that Vero can win the love of her daughter; that Bruno has a good first day on the job and that Nayeli not get her heart broken; and that Aurelio ask his daughter to forgive him. She adds that she is also praying for herself that she find a way to put out that flame of love that she still carries for Aurelio. She has tried and tried but it is like a stubborn root hat doesn't know how to die. She is ashamed that she was in love with her sister's husband. She carries that love like a cross. Aurelio has been standing there listening to it all.

Aurelio asks if he heard her correctly. What can she say? is her answer. It really hurts her a lot to see him with another woman. It is not out of resentment but out of love, a love she shut away in the deepest part of her heart where she has kept it under lock and key for years. So, now he knows. She is called away about a family issue.
Aurelio tells Nico that he is angry because he knew how Consuelo felt about him and didn't tell him. Nico said he couldn't because she confessed her feelings to him as a priest in the confessional. In tears, Aurelio says he never realized Consuelo felt the same way he felt about her. He never saw it. Nico thinks he referred just to look the other way. He denies that. He only did what he thought was the right thing and obeying their parents by marrying Beatriz. Truth be told, he never stopped thinking of Consuelo. Now he finds out how she suffered in silence. Nico informs him that it hasn't been easy for her. Aurelio admits he doesn't deserve her. He never was a good man. He only pretended to be one. Nico reminds him that nobody is perfect. Maybe he can erase all of the pain he has caused by starting to live with an open heart. . Aurelio doesn't know what to do with his feelings. He wants to run and grab Consuelo and never let her go. He doesn't even know if he has a right to even touch that love. Nico grabs him and Aurelio sobs.
EVERYTHING ELSE
-Claudia is still upset with Majo telling her that she is not the good friend she thought she was. Majo gets a call from Diego He wants to see her after her shift at the snack bar. She says it won't be possible with her schedule. She is happy he called.
Diego ends up at Majo's house with a bouquet of flowers. Majo lets him in. They end up kissing. Iván arrives and says he knows exactly what is going on between the two of them and is wondering how that is working if Claudia is Majo's friend. Iván and Diego agree they have a lot to talk about.
-Facundo talks with Joaquín and they discuss the whole mess about the pregnancy test. Joaquín is happy that it all got cleared up. Facundo has to "confess" that for just a moment he was happy that he and Vero were gong to have a child. He really wants to marry her. Joaquín nods. Facundo asks if what he is saying is bothering him. Joaquín as why would it. Facundo says it would mean taking his most valuable employee away. He has a plan for a future with Vero that he hopes is not too far off.
-Nayeli has caught Bruno playing soccer with his friends and not at the company. She has brought him home. He uses the fact that Consuelo didn't go with him as the excuse for him not gong at all. Only after he is threatened to be sent to work for a construction company, does he agree to take the messenger job that Romina agreed to recommend him for. He still wants his mother to go with him. That is not going to happen but Nayeli agrees to go with him. (UH, OH!)

Jarifa, your superbly crafted summary was a joy to read. Exceptional start to finish. Loved "LA RATA DE DOS PATOS".Again, a disappointing liar who richly deserves to feel guilty. Next! And BTW, that does NOT mean Ivan! 🙄 who is relentless. Wasn't it rich he rather chastised Majo for going behind Claudia's back? He and Marcos aren't friends but Romina IS married.
I was annoyed with myself for momentarily feeling a bit of pity for Aurelio but I quickly snuffed it out recalling what de did to Vero. His callousness continues unabated. I enjoyed the race and Vero and Joaquin's undeniable attraction. She continues to play with fire and will sadly soon feel the burn. Kassandra"s mewling is tiresome. She has no game. Likewise, Facundo rushes ahead, pretending he and Vero have a future when they actually have nothing. Zilch. Nada. Ditto for Hugo and Vale. He needs to snap out of it and rush to Yaneli and beg her forgiveness before it's too late

Yes, Iván was a hypocrite. wasn't he? As for Aurelio, he was sort of pathetic . . . for a moment. Alexis Ayala is doing an excellent job portraying such a despicable but weak character.
I found it quite calculating that Facundo told Joaquín that for the moment he was happy that he and Vero were having a baby. It seemed that he was trying to give the impression that he and Vero were having sex to make their relationship seem more serious than what it is. He is such a nasty piece of work.

Jarifa and Diana's mention of the expression "la rate de dos patas" reminded me that during the volleyball fight, Rex called Monique "un higado de dos patas," literally "a walking liver." She seems to have meant someone who goes around angry all the time. I'd love to use that expression myself, but Rex seems to have made it up.

Okay, let's see...more secrets out; more villains scheming...
Franco told Rex about her biological parents. Rex ran off to the penny arcade, where she was joined by Carlo, who kissed her again -- this time without getting kicked in the nuts. Baby steps.
Ines met Andromeda, who told her she had like 5 minutes to decide if she wanted to help bring Aramis down or get killed. She took an absurdly long time to think about this but finally got off the fence when Bolero pointed a gun at her. (Is she really going to want him for a son-in-law now?)
Victorio showed Sofia the video of Daddy getting slapped around, and he also told her that Aramis had murdered Bulldog with his bare hands. Not sure what his goal is here, other than sowing confusion.
Salvador prepared a romantic dinner for Rex but then invited Barbi instead when Rex was too freaked out to attend. What could possibly go wrong?
Andromeda announced her plan to take Sofia's place but didn't specify where she was going to stash Sofia while this was going on. We know she can't kill her for plot reasons, so expect a lot more wailing and gnashing of teeth while Sofia's locked up somewhere.

Jarifa, you took one for the team covering that Consuelo-Aurelio scene of mutual love revealed. That was touch for me to watch because Aurelio has been unrepentant with Vale and phony & rotten in his marriage advice to Romina. Honestly his anguish doesn't move me. But since he is what Consuelo wants, so be it. The woman deserves some happiness.
"Marcos thinks she [Vale] might end up surprising them all." Fraidy cat Marcos didn't take the test and faked the results to shame Romina, but I do give him a plus for supporting Vale's racing.

But I didn’t like him blaming Romina for not getting pregnant. So I have no idea who she’ll end up with!

It seems that Eleazar's character is on the road to being rehabilitated so he has a future when his rotten father Facundo is gone. I also agree that Romina cannot end up with that liar Marcos but would Iván be any better? We need a new character to come and sweep her off her feet. Too bad novelas don't work that way.

1. Back at the celebration at the snack bar, Lorena is curious about who the woman is with Joaquín and Vale. Eleazar identifies her as "Consuelo" who works at Joaquín's house. He also lets it drop that she is Facundo's novia.
2. Olga is leaving work for the day and asks Romina where Iván is. Romina says he is gone and Olga wonders if he left with the "other woman". Romina tells her that she cannot ask her things like that. Olga wonders what Romina's response would be if it were Marcos and not Iván. Romina thinks that she needs to stop ruminating about it. Iván isn't with anyone else. Romina leaves.
3. Later, Aurelio pays Consuelo a visit as she is cleaning some beans. He comes smiling ear to ear bearing flowers. She tells him that they were not needed because they cannot cure what hurts her. She tells him to forget what he heard. He belonged to Beatriz and even though she is no longer around, Consuelo would never betray her. She thinks that there is nothing to explain. Beatriz, the mother of is children, is who he chose.His name was on Beatriz's lips when she died and they both should honor her. She tells him to take the flowers, leave them at his wife's tomb. Then he can pray for her eternal rest and for his daughters. He should start with Vero. Hearing that, he manages to control his anger and sadly leaves with the flowers. Consuelo sobs.
4. The celebratory group starts to break up. Vale tells Hugo to say hello to Nayeli and some day maybe the three of them can go out together. He weakly agrees before leaving. Lorena introduces herself to Vale. Lorena makes sure Vale knows that she is Facundo's ex.
5. Kassandra calls Joaquín and asks how Vale did. Joaquín says she was incredible. The real reason for the call is she got a message from the bank.Luckily they sent them a reminder about their payment. He asks if Villar didn't already make the payment that was due this month. She doesn't know what is going on. He asks her to locate Villar. He is going straight to the office from there. Joaquín ends up taking Vero and Vale to the office with him before they go home. It will take only ten minutes.

Iván tells Diego that he hopes that his little stumble doesn't make him lose hope. Life goes on and love can be right around the corner.Diego is on his way and thanks Iván for the chat. Iván says Diego is young and will have another chance while at his age he has his doubts about that. Olga arrives wanting Diego to stay for supper. Diego says he was just going. Aurelio sneaks up on Consuelo and scares her. She would offer him a cookie but after his last blood pressure event , he has to take care of himself. He tells her that the base of the statue of the virgin is broken. She turns to look and he steals a cookie. She calls him a naughty child and they both laugh. She offers to go get him some hot coffee. He likes that because he is cold. She takes her scarf and gives it to him. He thanks her and wraps it around his shoulders. Isaura calls him and he doesn't answer. He smells Consuelo's fragrance on the scarf, smiles to himself and wraps it around his neck. He could not look more content.
17. Isaura tells Kassandra that she called Aurelio. He isn't answering. Kassandra thinks that is a good thing. Isaura says more or less. He isn't married. The sister of his dead wife pretended to be his wife to separate them.
She is done with him. Kassandra says he wasn't at her level anyway. Kassandra asks her to go home so she can be alone with Joaquín. Isaura acts insulted.
18. At supper with her parents , Majo asks her father what is wrong. Diego calls Majo and she leaves. Seeing his "wet dog face," Olga asks Iván what is going on with him. He looks like he wants to throw himself off a bridge head first. He answers that he thought about it but he is afraid of heights. He is feeling so down like he has never felt before in his life. Today his heart was broken. It was the most painful rejection of his life.

Kassandra doesn't like him being all alone. She wants to come and help him. He says that s not necessary. He will see her soon. She says okay.
23. Joaquín and Vero sit down to eat. He says she heard him tell a lie. She understands why. How could he say "I am here with my employee?" He says that isn't it. She says no need to explain. She herself doesn't know what she is doing there. He says it was Kassandra on the phone.. She asks why he lied to her. He doesn't know but admits that Kassandra is jealous of her. Vero cannot understand that.
24. Marcos plays stupid until Romina tells him that she talked with Dr. Mendiola. He angrily says that no he didn't go for any tests. He lied because she won't stop pressuring him. She is incredulous. He thinks she wants to throw it in his face that he is not man enough to impregnate his wife and that he is the problem. She cannot believe the stupid things he is saying. He thinks that she doesn't want to have a child with him. It was her idea to go get the tests. He thinks if you want to have a child you have sex. She asks if they haven't been trying. He thinks they need to try more. It should be natural. If it takes time, it takes time and if it never happens it is God's will. He won't be taking any test to prove his manhood. She calls him a liar and a worse macho than he has ever been before.
25. Olga laughs saying that Iván the heartbreaker has a broken heart of his own. He tells her to laugh some more. She says she has been through being rejected and it is horrible. He stole his career from him, his trophies and all of the success that should have been his. He stole his future. All of the applause went to Joaquín and he was left to be forgotten. That damn guy is always winning and ending up with what doesn't belong to him, but Vero is HIS. He will kill Joaquín with his bare hands before he loses her to him.
28. Vero's phone rings.Somebody needs her home right away. She has to go. She turns down a lift that Joaquín offers her, insists on taking a cab and leaves. She is sorry she has to leave him alone. 21. Marcos arrives home and Romina confronts him about lying about getting his fertility tests done.
22. Kassandra calls Joaquín. He explains that he is at the office and will be there until the problem is solved. She asks if he is alone. He says he is as Vero arrives with the take out. Kassandra doesn't like him being all alone. She wants to come and help him. He says that s not necessary. He will see her soon. She says okay.
23. Joaquín and Vero sit down to eat. He says she heard him tell a lie. She understands why. How could he say "I am here with my employee?" He says that isn't it. She says no need to explain. She herself doesn't know what she is doing there. He says it was Kassandra on the phone.. She asks why he lied to her. He doesn't know but admits that Kassandra is jealous of her. Vero cannot understand that.
24. Marcos plays stupid until Romina tells him that she talked with Dr. Mendiola. He angrily says that no he didn't go for any tests. He lied because she won't stop pressuring him. She is incredulous. He thinks she wants to throw it in his face that he is not man enough to impregnate his wife and that he is the problem. She cannot believe the stupid things he is saying. He thinks that she doesn't want to have a child with him. It was her idea to go get the tests. He thinks if you want to have a child you have sex. She asks if they haven't been trying. He thinks they need to try more. It should be natural. If it takes time, it takes time and if it never happens it is God's will. He won't be taking any test to prove his manhood. She calls him a liar and a worse macho than he has ever been before.

I thought this a rather. Upivotal episode, one that was captured perfectly utilizing your sharp wit and infinite wisdom Jarifa.
I was surprised to find myself moved by "the sound of the motors sang to her". Vale's passion fuels her being and strengthens her soul. How wonderful she found her heart's desire at such a young age. Many never find theirs. I admire that she refused to go along with increasingly unhinged Claudia in trying to find out who Diego is seeing. We got a little more info but not enough. I almost had forgotten about Mario until Joaquín’s payment never made it to the bank in Miami. I suspect he is involved.

Thanks Jarifa, that was a great recap. And the episode was pretty great too. Claudia was really out of control. I think Vale needs to distance herself from Claudia. She certainly shouldn’t be allowed in their home. Diego broke up with her and she needs to grow up. Can you imagine her as his wife, spying on him and making accusations.
I think Vero is going to see the true Facundo pretty soon. And it won’t be pretty. I didn’t like how he said “she’s mine”. Didn’t he say something similar about Lor ena, even though she’s his ex. Notes from the Couch . . .
1. After, Vero leaves, Joaquín sits alone wondering what just happened with her. Kassandra breaks his pensive mood coming into the office unexpectedly.
She knows she didn't need to come but she was very worried about what was going on with the bank issue. He explains that Villar is working on the problem and it seems that there was an instruction to with hold the money for some reason. So, it was not released in time to make the monthly payment. He emphasizes that the company cannot afford to make late payments because the interest will end up killing them. She eyes the two takeout meals on the coffee table. She asks if he ordered all of that food only for himself. Joaquín's excuse is he hadnt eaten all day. She says there is enough food for two people to have supper so she starts to finish the pasta dish that Vero started. (EW!) He stares.
2. Romina has turned up at Vero's with her suitcase. Vero tries to convince her one more time that what she is doing at the Miranda house is trying to keep her boss from publishing something hurtful. Romina will believe her when she quits working for that magazine. Romina says she needs her sister right now. She is doing very badly. She is destroyed. She cannot take anything anymore.
Vero hugs her and Romina cries.
3. Over some more whiskey (I wonder if he has bought some of his own or if he is still drinking Joaquín's), Iván tells Olga that he thought at the start that "she" felt something more for him but now that he confessed his love for her, she rejected him. Olga says maybe "that woman" isn't up to dealing with the man he is. He disagrees. This woman is different form all of the women he has ever known. She doesn't know what to say. Olga can only talk about their relationship. She and he are not like whiskey and ice that melt and blend together. They are more like oil and water.

Vale doesn't know how he could have lied to her like that.Romina explains that have been going around and around about trying to have a baby for years and finally they agreed to get some testing done. She went and got hers done, but not him. Romina says that is the only thing she has ever asked of him and he couldn't even respect her enough to do it. She has stopped doing so many things so she wouldn't make him feel bad. Vero brings up her dream of being a model. Romina agrees and labels Marcos as the worst kind of macho. He blames her for them not having kids and pressures her whenever he can. He wants he to quit work and stay at home washing and ironing. Vero asks what she is going to do. Romina says her father thinks that she shouldn't give up and fight for her marriage. She no longer has the strength. She feels betrayed and doesn't want to see Marcos, hear him or go back to her home. Vero tells her there is no need to make a decision now. Her home is Romina's home. Romina is her little sister who she will always take care of.
8. Diego and Joaquín chat in the kitchen over a glass of water. Diego tells him he looks different, more relaxed. He also has a sparkle in his eyes. Diego leaves and Joaquín thinks of Vero as Vero thinks of him.
9. The next morning, Vale and Claudia have breakfast with Joaquín and Kassandra. Vale tells her godfather that after school she is going to go see Hugo at the shop to go over some things. He has no problem with that as long as she remembers she has to keep her grades up. Kassandra surprises them by saying that she thinks that after all, Joaquín made the right decision about Vale racing. Vale says she will be a little angel.

Today Nayeli will take him to the office for his interview so he does what he is supposed to. Vero asks Consuelo to tell Nayeli to be careful she doesn't make any mistakes at the company as to her identity. Bruno is a different story but all he knows is that he is Romina's cousin. Vero hopes it doesn't get out of control.

she asks if Vero went to see her. As Joaquín almost chokes on his breakfast, Vale says yes!! She and her godfather invited Vero. Kassandra asks if Vero came back with her. Vale says no, she left first and Vero stayed with her godfather. Joaquín has the resigned look of a rat caught in a trap with no way out. Vale adds that he had things to do in the office. The girls leave.

She told him that she had just arrived at her house. He was in her neighborhood waiting for her. He understands that she lies to Joaquín, Vale, etc. and has to wear a mask around them but there should be no masks between the two of them. He understands what she is doing. . Vero says she never wanted to hurt him. He thought they were a team, accomplices in this madness. They were the only two who knew the truth and now he has his doubts about her. She talks about Vale inviting her to the track. He says that still doesn't explain the lie. He asks if she was with Vale or Joaquín when he called. She admits she was with Joaquín.

19. Vale and Claudia are upstairs getting their school things together. Claudia manages to get away from Vale to look for something but she sneaks into Diego's room where he is still sleeping instead. His phone is recharging next to him. She tries to open tit with a password to see who the girl is. All of her tries are unsuccessful so she carefully grabs his thumb next to open the phone with his print. He wakes up and catches her.
20. Iván has a hangover headache the next day. Olga gets an e-mail from Romina saying she isn't coming in. She isn't feeling well. That perks Iván up. Olga thinks things are going badly with Marcos. She smells a divorce coming.
21. Marcos is raging in the garage taking his unhappiness out on the other employees. He admits to Hugo he is an imbecile no matter how you spell it.
22. Diego tells Claudia she is more toxic all the time and orders her out of his room. She blames him for gaslighting her. She says he first told her that there was nobody else and now he is in love with another girl. Why is he doing this to her? He reminds her they broke up and wants her to leave him alone. She still loves him. She thinks the girl must be somebody she knows and that is why he won't say who she is. He tells her to get out of his room. She will find out who that girl is!!!

He assures her that Bruno will do his best and learn what he has to. She gives Bruno the messenger job based on Romina's recommendation but he will be on probation. Bruno does have a question for her. If one day he arrives late, will they scold him or dock his pay. . . Nobody knows what to do with that!

Eleazar has no idea what he has gone through to get Eleazar what was taken from him because of that damn accident. Who is he talking to? His son or the assistant to all of the ladies around there. He asks if he is gong to be Vale's personal assistant since she is part of the team. He tells him to stop it already and focus on his own career.
25. Kassandra talks about Dani's quince with Joaquín. He is happy that she is making a good connection with Dani. She says they have to get all of the preparations done quickly before Vero starts making her a dress. Joaquín doesn't like that comment. She says it was only a joke. She tells him about the new messenger.
26. Carmen tells Vero she arrived late. Vero blames it on traffic. Vero mentions she missed seeing Vale before school. Carmens mentions with Vale practicing at the track after school, they will see even less of her. Vero looks upset. Carmen wonders why.
27. Nico gives Bruno a few words of wisdom before he starts to work on this his first day. Bruno promises he will not fail him.

Nico says he has always prayed for her to be at peace. Facundo assures him they will have time to catch up. Since he and Vero are serious, Nico will be seeing plenty of him. Facundo asks him for a blessing before he leaves. Nico says may God grant him clarity and mercy when he needs them the most.He leaves. Facundo smirks.

Anyway, asJoaquín's partner, she has specific responsibilities. There are lines that cannot be crossed. Since she and Joaquín are trying to form their family, she is asking Vero to turn down any invitation that Vale might make to her in the future. She makes the point that If anyone is going to substitute for Vale's mother it is going to be her and not Vero. Vero nods.

She sees a deep love that is still burning as she shifts her gaze to Aurelio BUT she also sees a shadow of a woman who is no longer this earth covering her . Consueo is spooked but Aurelio moves her along.
34.Kassandra clarifies that she wants to be a mother to Vale and the kids. It is simply a question of one's role in the house. She and Joaquín want to be second parents to Luisa' and Susana's kids. After talking Julian out of shooting Aramis, Chava turned to Aramis and said, "That's twice I've saved your life. There won't be a third time." Burrrrrn.
After the video revelations about Gonzo and Grecia, Sofia had an epic meltdown and basically said being a good girl all her life had gotten her absolutely nowhere and she was through with it. NO MORE MRS. NICE GUY! Then she had a total system failure, pitched forward onto her uterus, and was rushed to the hospital. So she has now unwittingly laid the groundwork for Andromeda to replace her without even having to PRETEND to be a decent human being. (She will have to do something about her accent, though. And that Ziggy Stardust hairdo.)

Thanks once again, Jarifa, you weave a story that equals each episode. I’m thinking Bruno will see Vero as Consuelo tonight. I felt like he was almost casing the foyer of the house. When he was at the business for his interview I wondered how safe everyone’s purses would be!
I thought Vero looked a little surprised by Facundo’s threat, but I’m not sure she took it as a threat. I hope she wakes up to him before he does too much damage. I see her saving them all with her investigative reporting.
I felt sorry for Vero when Kassandra gave her all those rules. I thought she was hired for the kids. All in all Vero had a rough day.
Claudia acts more like Facundo than her real father. She’s a little scary with her threats, and she’s a teenager. Vale needs to put space between them. Trying to get into his phone would have ended it for me.
Eleazar needs to wake up to how his father is, and how he’s being influenced by his dad. I’m betting Facundo caused his own accident by not being a team player.
Nicholas knows a lot about Facundo. I hope he warns Vero.!

I thought Vero looked a little surprised by Facundo’s threat, but I’m not sure she took it as a threat. I hope she wakes up to him before he does too much damage. I see her saving them all with her investigative reporting.
I felt sorry for Vero when Kassandra gave her all those rules. I thought she was hired for the kids. All in all Vero had a rough day.
Claudia acts more like Facundo than her real father. She’s a little scary with her threats, and she’s a teenager. Vale needs to put space between them. Trying to get into his phone would have ended it for me.
Eleazar needs to wake up to how his father is, and how he’s being influenced by his dad. I’m betting Facundo caused his own accident by not being a team player.
Nicholas knows a lot about Facundo. I hope he warns Vero.!

Finally got to watch the second half . I rewatched the candy land scene . I noticed Gonzo concerned about protecting the family jewels and trying to cover himself with the tab!ec!oth to avoid getting chocolate coated like Sofia, who definitely got the worst of that chocolate fountain . Grecia only got spattered. She seemed to really be taunting Sofia .
Sofia didn't appear to like the board with colored Post it notes that Franco brought her .
Showdown with Gonzo and snippy Grecia#sorrynotsorry and fuming Sofia and Franco, the stoic.
Barb and Rex are in the hood with her plant. She resists watering Barb' s grass blouse , and Barb teaches Rex some English " forever."
Carlo brings the girls something ?!!...games ???
Meanwhile Julian is holding a gun on both Aramis and Chava so that Chava doesn't stop him from killing Ari.

Jarifa, What a treat to have your excellent replays of all the drama .
Poor Consuela,. ...she is dealing with so much Bruno is a brat . He did seem to be casing the house , and he seemed very interested in Dani, who looked so grown up in Vale's dress.
I get a kick out of Kass always wearing cocktail dresses . Also, in.most scenes that aren't at the office, she is holding a wine glass . Kass=wine and whining .I noticed she had a lot of shopping bags . I guess she thinks that a new wardrobe of cocktail dresses will win over Joachin. We never see her in any comfy casual clothes or sneakers or flip flops ...just fancy dresses and negligees.
She really laid down her rules for Vero. Funny how she thinks she can control everything .
Now, Facundo's mask is slipping ,and he seems to be having trouble controlling that bad temper .
I am sure that EleazerIs going to be redeemed. He is getting closer to his mother and farther away from his father . Meanwhile, Claudia is getting worse in her fixation on Diego. She has become her own worst enemy. Susan

Ha...it was funny when Kass sat down , picked up the bowl of pasta that Vero was eating from, and started eating . If she had known that Vero had been eating from that bowl, she would have been horrified. That was a clever idea from the writers , a little tree for the viewers ! Susan

Diana, they have given Kassandra some of the weirdest styles I have ever seen. One of her earlier dresses looked like a truncated tuxedo on top. BIzarre!
