On her way out of town, Amparo is telling somebody on the phone that the plan failed. So who is she working for?
This is turning into not a slap-a-thon as much as a punch -a- thon.
At last Violeta wasn’t the unexpected pregnancy of the novela.
Chata sure was enjoying those stress pills from the drugstore.

This is turning into not a slap-a-thon as much as a punch -a- thon.

Jarifa, thank you for the info on Amparo which I hadn't understood. "This is turning into not a slap-a-thon as much as a punch -a- thon" said it all!
Mariano and Angela are becoming more unlikeable with each passing episode. Rather than lamenting and then berating himself for kissing Angela, perhaps he might try NOT kissing her at all. He committed to Lucero and he needs to decide who and what he wants. If he chooses Angela (who has no personality, charm or allure), then he needs to break off his engagement. Angela just needs to stay completely away from Mariano but of course she won't. If the opening credits are to be believed and Angela and Mariano are end game, whyever would we wish for that, considering how lovely Lucero is and how traitorous they are being.
Perpetually besotted Diana and Javier should just get a room and stay there.
Virginia unprofessional ill-timed scolding of Ramón in Violeta's room was head scratching.
Chata is indeed spiraling out of control, unfortunately.

I’m another one that would pick Lucero over Angela. But music plays whenever Mariano and Angela kiss so Lucero has already been cast aside! I’m wondering if she’ll suspect something and just bow out because she’ll put Mariano’s happiness above her own. Or maybe someone will come along that gets her attention.
So there was some plan for Amparo to marry Juan. I can’t imagine why. Unless someone close to one of the deceased wives is bearing a grudge. Or maybe his money came from one of the wives. He does seem to have money.
Moncho did look he was at the hospital with flowers for whichever sister he had the date with. I guess that made Virginia mad. I’m not sure if she knows he forgot about the date. And she definitely doesn’t know the other sister shoved the glowers in his hand and forced him into the hospital room.

Liz, I think you are right that Chata wants the close, loving marriage that Javier and his wife seem to have . She is foolish to drink wine and take those pills . However, she has great sweaters . I want them.

Thanks for checking . It wasn't anything profound . I think I just agreed that Tomas should get punched in every episode . I have never seen this actor play such a nasty , heartless guy. ....but then I've never seen him in bangs before.
Max and the boys as waiters was cute...until jealous Max punched Javier.
I am afraid That the writers are eventually going to take sweet Lucero out of the picture somehow to open the way for Mariano and Angela to be together.
Has there ever been another novela where we didn't want the leads to get a HEA? Susan

Okay, Amparo tells her mystery boss that she is staying at Tomás’ place and it is going to be hard for her to get back right away. . . . She lets Bernabé take a shower . . . Really? Because he asked after having played the martyr for sleeping out in the hall all night? She warns him not to be at the apartment when she gets back . . . Sure. . . .
Surprise!!!!Angela was quick on her feet telling Tomás that the kiss was a part of the seduction plan he wanted her to execute. After she confesses the kiss to the priest, he advises her to go home to Querétero. Can’t see her packing her bags anytime soon. Poor Lucero knowing what happened. Hope she kicks Mariano to the curb.

I didn’t expect to see that much of Eduardo Santamarina. I’m not sure I knew there WAS that much of Eduardo Santamarina. But he makes it fun.
Angela and Mariano have negative charisma. Every time they smooch, they SUBTRACT heat.
Have we ever had a telenovela where a character fetches up pregnant before we’ve even seen her with a guy? 🤔

My favorite moment of last night (of which there were few) was when Vincente and Pilar joined Max and Chata in the bedroom. Naturally, Chata was already berating Max but the whole scene looks like it was a lot of fun to film. I like Chata and Max together, but he needs to change his ways and be loyal (is that even possible)?? :)
Jarifa, the Lucero/Mariano/Angela triangle is souring quickly for me. The writing is on the wall, how long are they going to drag this out? Filomena (rightly) said her peace to Mariano but should have left it at that. I'm not sure what she said to Lucero but Lucero was pretty upset. I pity Padre Pedro having to listen to all of it...

Poor Elisa! I feel sorry for her. Her mother demands her attention but when the shoe is on the other foot mom can't stop doing her exercise routine to listen to her. What kind of Dr office is Virginia running? People keep getting into her office and taking drugs or pregnancy tests! She needs better locks. She should go to the pharmacy in that town to get a home pregnancy test?
I'm forgetting names, but when is the DNA test results coming for the 2 star crossed lovers that may be siblings going to be revealed? The new guy is dorky and annoying and may be in cahoots with Tomas so perhaps he is a bad guy.
Speaking of nerdy guys, the two guys fighting over Conchita will be interesting as neither knows how to fight.

Segundo in his private eye get-up was a hoot. He sure got an eyeful to report back to Juan about. I am enjoying that plot line.
Mariano and his mother have no respect for Lucero with him locking lips with Angela and then independently talking to the priest to move up the wedding date and his mother independently deciding where Lucero is getting her dress. Lucero is right that Mariano is only trying to
assuage his own guilt and I was pleased that she was angry about the whole mess. Here is hoping she doesn’t give in but I think she will.

Well, I have a new cable company, and it does not carry Univison. Boohoo , I want to stay here with you guys . Is there any other way to get Univision without cable ? I think this cable company carries Telemundo and Unimas . Susan

Susan I had this issue for a while when YouTube TV dropped Univision. You can try Dailymotion. I just checked and I see episode 18 and earlier is available in the full length. I didn't search specifically for an episode, that sometimes will give you more hits. Do you have any local friends with you tube TV that are willing to share their subscription with you. We piggy back off our daughter's. They allow 6 accounts though only 3 can use it at any time. We sometimes get kicked off but I just watch it at another time if that happens because I have it in my library. You tube may also have some episodes available.
