Caray, Caray!

Can anyone tell me what happened at the very end? I dozed off. The last thing I remember was AP and Julio in the church getting hitched and Pablo still riding around the country side.

I also recall Emi refusing to give/get any comfort from Vero over Mati's death. I presume they all took off for the DF.

Thanks to anyone who can fill in the end for me.
 

The end of the episode:

The wedding was continuing and they got to the part where "if anybody has a reason why this marriage should not go on" Blanquita and Polo both jumped up to protest but they were instantly shut down and forced to be quiet. Julio "aceptos" and AP hesitates for a long time, just enough time to allow Pablo to ride his horse ALL THE WAY INTO the church and says no one will have AP as long as he is alive. Caras impactadas all the way around and that was it!
 

How did Pablo get away from Manuel's friend? I missed that part.

From what I recall, Manny's friend ended up telling Pablo the truth about keeping him away long enough for AP to marry Julio. Then Pablo took off to the church. I have to go back and watch to see why the friend fessed up.
 

How does Manny have ANY friends! I think that is the guy who Manny was mean to (slept on his couch and then stole his sandwich), but I also thought I heard him thought bubble that Manny was going to have to pay him big time for distracting Pablo.

I have to say I loved this capitulo because it was everything you watch a TN for and nothing you hate about them-- Vero quickly figured out that Nancy was a Mala Mujer, and Pablo came riding up on his white (ok not white, but still) steed to stop the wedding. It was a happy Friday for me.

Looking forward to reading the recap! But NO rush!

AuntyAnn: Pablo was beating the crap out of Manny's friend and that is why he told the truth. Also, I think the friend said something to the effect that Manny wasn't paying him enough.


 

Did this episode say anything about ultimas semanas? The replacement (9:00 pm) was briefly shown and starts Monday, November 4th or so. It should be hot considering the cast: Fernando Colunga AND Jorge Salinas AND Susanna Gonzales! Can't wait.

 

For this novela, I have upgraded my beanie to a miner's hardhat, complete with the lamp and everything. However, even so, dangerous rays of logic were penetrating it when Pablo, who should be in the hospital with several broken ribs and burst organs, rode a horse all day long. How'd he even get ON that horse? Let alone gallop home in time to stop the wedding?

Okay, okay. Deep breaths.

I will say that riding that freaking HORSE into the freaking CHURCH was my all time favorite bodus interuptus. I was laughing my head off.

Loriloo, I did hear 'ultimas semanas' last night for the first time; I think when they were talking about the show on Monday. So if they start next week, that would make sense.

Lo Imperdonable #94 - Part 1

- Nancyyaga has given Marty a potion that makes him hallucinate that she is Vero. He is Very confused and scared. Nanci gets him on the bed and lies on top and next to him.

- Vero comes home with dinner and thought tells herself that she and Marty will finally he happy.

- Maggie and a nurse come into Mati's hospital room, but it's too late, she's dead.

- In the hospital hallway a random nurse see's Ginny high-tailing it outs there. She asks why Ginny is there and Ginny says she's forgot her prescription. The nurse calls Dr. Dan.

- In M.E. Manny gives orders to that guy (the one that helped him when he was homeless), but we don't know what the orders are, just that it needs to be done now. Meanwhile Gramps guilts AP into marrying Julio. AP declares she will always love Pablo.

- Manny's friend tells Pablo that AP is going to marry Gramps' Godson. That creep that didn't want to be responsible for AP's baby. Anyway, the friend tells him they are going to marry the next day and the only way to get to the town is by horse. The friend offers to take Pablo.

- Vero sets the table and goes to get Marty, and finds Nanci in bed with him. She wants to know how he could do this to her. Marty wakes up and is like WTH?!

- Ginny gets home and talks with Jorge about her illness. She blames Vero, saying she has always been sick. Jorge wants to talk to Dr. Dan. He promises that if Vero was lying she will pay, but if Ginny was lying, then Ginny will pay. After Jorge leaves Ginny saws if nothing happens to you first. People do die un-expectantly.

- The doctor tells Maggie there is nothing they can do for Mati. I think he said she had a heart attack. Maggie says she just stepped out to make an appointment.

- Vero goes nuts accusing Marty of cheating. The fight goes into the living room. Marty wants to know what Nanci gave him. Vero realizes Nanci drugged her husband. Vero demands to know what Nanci poisoned Marty with. Nanci is silent, and Vero says that's a sign that Nanci is guilty. Nanci is kicked to the curb. Vero apologizes for doubting Marty. He says there is no need because under the circumstances, everything accused him.

- Joaquin runs into Blanquita and Polo. He declares his innocence. His family is the most important thing in his life. He is going to fight for them to be together again.

- Maggie calls Jorge and tells him Mati is dead.

- Pablo and Jauncho(?) are riding to the town is "save" AP. Juancho thought bubbles that Manny is going to have to pay him some good money for this favor.

Lo Imperdonable #94 - Part 2

- AP is praying in church, thanking San Lorenzo for making her Gramps change his mind about getting rid of the baby. She prays for Pablo's soul.

- Ginny fake cries about Mati's death. Salma doesn't shed a tear. Ginny blames Vero. What else is new? Stone-cold Salma says that just because Mati died doesn't hide the fact that she was a busy body (in everyone's business) and was Vero's protector.

- Reymunda cries about being the laughing stock of the town. The kids want their parents back together. Reymunda is too hurt. Blanquita declares that what is happening to her mother will never happen with her and her principe.

- Nanci runs into Emi in the jungle. She tells him her plan didn't work to separate Marty and Vero. Emi tells her maybe one day when they are both healed from their broken hearts, they can love each other. They hug.

- Marty and Vero are having dinner. Vero gets a call from Maggie telling her that Mati is dead. Marty comes to comfort her.

- AP comes home. Reymunda and the kids are happy to see her. They start preparing for the wedding. Polo declares that AP has to marry Pablo, but AP says that can't happen because Manny killed him.

- Pablo riding, on his way to save AP.

- Vero suffering over Mati's death. Marty consoling her. Vero suspects that Ginny is behind Mati's sudden death.

- Dr. Dan calls Ginny. He wants his money. Dan suspects that Ginny is involved in Mati's death. He will investigate because he is sure that Vero will pay a lot of money to know the truth.

- Gramps tells Julio he can marry AP. Julio will work at the mine. Manny's not happy.

- AP does not want to marry Julio. Reymunda tells her to think of the baby and of Gramps because he's old and sick.

- Vero tells Marty that Mati told her about Ginny pushing her down the stairs. And about Vero telling Ginny about Mati talking. She blames herself for Mati's death. Marty tells her that they will go to D.F. to find out exactly what happened to Mati. Marty tells her it's not her fault.

- Ginny talks to the European buyer. She has some new info for him.

- Maggie talks to Botel over the phone. She needs to be strong and supportive for Vero. Botel is leaving for the city. He runs into Emi and tells him that Mati died.

LOL...The thought bubble was for Juancho, Manny's friend. I think that's the guys name. That's what I heard Pablo call him. I don't think or know if the horse has a name.

- Emi cries alone in his hotel room over his nana.

- The Padresito does not want to be a part of AP and Julio's wedding. Gramps orders him to prepare for the wedding. PUNTO!

- AP tells Julio she does not love him, but thanks him for his sacrifice. Julio just wants to make her happy.

- Vero runs into Emi and wants to comfort him, but Emi stops her. He is rude to her and tells her that he doesn't want any comfort from her and walks away. Vero is crushed. Marty comforts her.

- Marty tells Romeo to tell Pablo that he had to leave, but when he comes back he will look for him.

- Pablo and Juancho (Manny's friend) have arrived at their destination. Juancho does not know where AP is. Pablo is pissed off.

- AP is dressed in her bridal gown. She asks the Virgen for forgiveness for getting married without love. She wants to wear black because she is in mourning.

-Pablo tells Juancho that he will go to jail for being Manny's accomplice to kidnapping. Juancho gets scared and tells Pablo the truth. Manny's plan was to get Pablo away from M.E. in order to give them time to marry AP off to Julio. Pablo shoves Juancho to the ground.

- At the church, Julio hopes AP hasn't changed her mind. Padresito tells him that AP has no other alternative. Julio does this to help her. Padre says that everything has fallen into place for Julio, because he knows that Julio has always loved her. AP arrives.

- Pablo is riding back to town.

- The ceremony begins. AP cries.

- Pablo riding back to town.

- Julio is ecstatic. AP cries.

- Pablo riding back to town.

- The bride and groom confess their sins.

- Pablo riding back to town. Faster, Pablo!

- At the ceremony, Manny checks his watch. When is this thing over?

- Pablo riding back to town. Seriously dude. HURRY UP!!!

- Julio and AP join hands and start their vows. When asked if anyone opposes Blanquita gets up, but Manny stops her. Julio accepts AP as his wife. AP pauses when the Padresito asks if she accepts Julio, which gives Pablo enough time to come inside the church, horse and all to stop the wedding. Pablo says that AP will never belong to anyone else as long as he is alive.

No Gramps did not let her wear her mom's dress. He told Reymunda to get another dress. Plus, AP said she didn't want to wear her mom's dress because it would remind her of Pablo.

Always great to hear from you. I agree about wrapping this up. I hate when they extend a story and mess it up. I want the villains to start paying for their crimes. Before it's too late and we're in the last two episodes.

Lol "What else is new?" regarding Ginny blaming Vero for her illness, for Mati's death, and the list goes on.

Unfortunately, there are too many episodes ahead to imagine that too much will go smoothly on this TN. Can't we have just one demise of the evil crowd? My first choice would be Manny, but I doubt that's going to happen any time soon.

Can't wait to hear the words coming out of the mouths of the "caras impactadas" at Pablo's gallant arrival.

I think that you covered it all.

I thought that there would be a BIG fight and a separation when Vero walked in on Marty and Nanci. I must admit that I was surprised that there wasn't. Yes Vero was angry, who wouldn't be but she used her brain and quickly put two and two together and figured out what had happened. Good for her.

What will be Nanci's next move? We are left with something to look forward to but she doesn't have much time left to be with her patron. Neither Vero or Marty will allow her getting close any more---she should start thinking about Emi. She could end up moving from the jungle to the big house/mansion.

Carlos---I was hoping that you might have known of a magic drug that the doctor could have used to save Mati but you sent my hopes crashing down when you said that there was no miracle drug and by the looks of the monitor----well we now know that it was the end for Matilde Friday night.

I wonder if the nurse that saw V-snake down the hall will in any way play into a future investigation? If there is one that is.

So even the priest kowtows to the old goat's demands. I actually thought that the priest would refuse to go through with an unholy marriage. I guess that OG has more power and sway than I had given him credit for.

No mention of the burnt out cantina---no investigation? Que?

It may have been just my imagination but I thought that I kept seeing Pablo riding past the same set of rocks two or three times on his way to the church. Was that a Televisa trick to make us think that Pablo and the horse was covering a lot of ground? I remember going on a Universal Studios tour some time back and learning about several behind the scenes tricks that are commonly used while filming.

Rebecca---You made me laugh when you said that Pablo came riding on a white horse---
ok, not white but still. That was so funny---ok, not white but still. I'm still chuckling.

A little while back people were complaining about Ana Perla's near constant crying.
Actually, I'm getting tired of Ginny's whining that everything that has ever gone or has been wrong in her life is Veronica's fault. Two completely different personalities but two whiners nevertheless.

WOW!!! Looks like the wedding will be stopped for sure now with Pablo, horse and all in the church. Can't wait to see what Manny and Grandpa Goat will do.

Happy that Emi shrugged off Vero. He knows what he needs to do to protect himself and have a chance to move on. Hope he and Nanc get together soon bec I really want Salma and Ginny to freak out.
 

The riding a horse into Church to stop the wedding scene was much better in Cañaveral de Pasiones.

Veronica did finally figure out what Nanci did, but it was only after Martin manhandled Nanci to the point that she dropped the vessel she had used to make him drink her Love Potion No. 9 - she (Vero) wouldn't even look at him before then and just screamed like a banshee, "Why are you doing this to meeeee?" and wouldn't listen to him. I mean, really! She had just been with him at the hotel and stayed behind to cook him dinner, but they had just professed their undying, true love for one another and made plans for a romantic dinner AT THEIR HOME and IN A LITTLE WHILE, so how stupid does she think he is, that if he were going to "do this to her" he would do it IN THEIR HOUSE, ON THEIR BED, and where he was expecting her to be IN JUST A FEW MINUTES??? I mean, come on, Woman, are you serious? She should have instantly been suspicious of Nanciyaga (especially knowing Nanci lives in Lalaland) and not flown off the handle like she did. She DID owe him an apology and I'm glad she gave him one.

And the priest! Good gravy, Dude! How could he be such a weenie as to be bullied by a rickety old goat weakly flailing his little green stick into performing a marriage ceremony where the equally weak-willed bride is so clearly being FORCED to marry? He doesn't just SUSPECT she is unwilling, he absolutely KNOWS she doesn't want to get married and definitely doesn't love Julio! Padre Jeronimo, where art thou?

Virginia cracks me up. She's like a cat that gets tossed in the air, always landing on her feet.

Veronica blamed herself for Mati's death and Martin told her It's not her fault. Wrong! It absolutely, positively is her fault. If she hadn't been trying to one-up Virginia in their argument and had kept her big mouth shut, Mati wouldn't even had been on her (Ginny) radar any more. You killed your own Nana, Sweetie. Facts are facts.

Anon2::18 I remember that wedding scene from Canaveral. That one was great because Pablo (character had the same name) stole the bride at gunpoint. FYI, in Canaveral, the character of Pablo was played by Juan Soler, but the child version of the character was played by none other than Sebastian Zurita.

I wanted to apologize to everyone for not being able to write a full recap for this episode. I had planned to write one but I twisted my ankle and had to go to the ER to get it checked out. I was afraid that I had broken it but fortunately I did not.

Wow! Loved Pablo riding into the church on his noble steed. Ridiculous but extremely satisfying.

I don’t think Padre was really intimidated or afraid of Old Goat. I think he thought this was just the best choice for a bad situation for Ana Perla.

Can somebody explain Mexican architecture to me (this is a serious question)? Vero’s home has 6 doors across the front of it. So I assume if you want light and air you open up the doors?. Would these be doors to the bedrooms, or to the kitchen?. I know it’s hot there, but it seems odd to have no intermediate choice between being completely closed up or completely open.

J., re: sudden use of Vero’s cell phone. Maybe Marty put a cell phone tower in on their land.

RIP Mati. She will be missed. I can't believe the writers really killed her off. Salma was so heartless with her remark that just because Mati had died did not take away that she had been a nosy person. Salma needs an anvil big time for her nasty behavior.

It was maddening that OG had the nerve to accuse AP of making him suffer and of betraying him. Then Raymunda goes and justifies OG's behavior saying that he does what he does because he loves them and wants to protect them. QTH..?

It was hilarious when Pablo stopped the wedding by entering into church with the horse and all. Great scene. Looking forward to seeing what will happen next.

I was thinking the same thing, how could Vero possibly think it was Marty doing that to her, Nanci is literally insane. Also agree that Vero did kill her nana, glad she recognized that too!

Even though someone said AP shouldn't jump on the horse because she may miscarry, I hope she gets on that horse with help from Blanquita and Pablo takes her back to the city. How much more abuse is she going to take? She needs to be far away from her toxic family. I also hope the old goat dies right then and there from shock!

Quick question: I don't know if it was Friday or Thursday, but I think it was Friday-- when Emi saw Nanci in the woods and she said she had been unsuccessful, did Emi say something like "So how about you and me baby?" I don't watch with cc and I couldn't catch it but I thought that was what he said. Again, that man is going to give me whiplash!

No, I don't like Julio, NovelaMaven. Haven't like him for a long time. Imo, he's just out for himself and doesn't care that AP is miserable. The look on Julio's face when Pablo arrived in the church said it all.

Thank you Barbara, Rebecca, Mari, and Nina. I actually went to a Hospital Center but thankfully it had the "n" so I knew it was a safe and reliable place. :)

It was good that Vero didn't fall for Nanci's trap. I was afraid for a moment there that she would but then she realized that Nanci had drugged Marty. Her walking in on Marty in bed with Nanci was somewhat similar to when Marty walked in on a drunk Emi on top of Vero in bed. So now they both know how it feels like to be in the other person's shoes.

So Magda was out making an appointment. What appointment? At the hair salon? Couldn't the writers have come up with a better reason for her to be out of the room?

BTW, was it just me or was Botel looking really red in the scene where he and Magda are talking on the phone?

Well said. Plus, what kind of a role model is she. She's basically telling her kids that they should allow someone to abuse them because hey the person is doing it out of love and to protect them. She's definitely not mother material.

Botel is often very red. Sometimes he looks as if he has been out in the sun too long, but I suspect the actor is just one of those guys who reddens from the heat or from drinking alcohol or just from strong emotions.

Excellent point about the parallel between the Nanciyaga/Marty scene and the Emi/Vero scene earlier. (These telenovelas do love their parallels, don't they?)

Loved Pablo's turnaround and making it back to town in time. Really surprised he was able to mount a horse, let alone ride so swiftly and circling some rocks twice (Thanks, Gringo!). There were a couple of good shots of wedding guests--Manny smirking and Julio looking very self-satisfied. I was waiting for AP to maybe faint at the altar before she said "accepto."

Vero should kick herself for setting Mati up for Vsnake's death ray. Dr. Dan and Jorge are likely targets for the next round.

Vero seems to be in a new wardrobe phase--all jumpsuits, all the time. Looks like Botel also went shopping in the city and tossed the open flannel shirts. If Nanciyaya ends up with Emi, maybe she can also buy some new clothes. She could whip up some concoction for Vsnake as well.
 

I liked how when AP announced to the family that Manuel had killed Pablo, Raymunda gasps and asks OG if it's true. OG blows it off as if killing Pablo was an annoying detail and tells Raymunda, don't bother about that, we'll deal with that later. LOL?!!!

Carlos, and I was annoyed Onix wasn't invited to the wedding. Oh where, oh where can he be?

Mauricio---I'm glad that your ankle isn't broken. That wouldn't be fun at all. Maybe if you just take it easy for a few days you will be back to normal.

Anonymous 2:43---I didn't realize that Vero didn't have a clue until Nanciyaga dropped the Love Potion #9 bowl. Well she finally did figure it out and that was a good thing.

Barbara---I was wondering about the many doors in the new house myself. Here is a possible explanation. I once knew an architect who bought an old building and redesigned it into a house. There were several doors across the front. I asked him why as I had never seen so many front doors on a house before. Actually it looked very modern and was featured in the Sunday paper but it did have multiple doors. I was told that because of the buildings high ceiling, air conditioning would cost too much and so he designed the house with several front doors which when opened, would allow for cross ventilation throughout the house. I didn't see any air conditioning units on top of Marty and Vero's new house and so the several doors could be for ventilation in a hot part of Mexico.

Cross-ventilation would make sense. I will admit I don't find the house that attractive. But hey, it's Vero's dream home, not mine. And, it is a step up from Vero and Marty's starter home.

Totally agree with Anon 2:43... Vero does have a big mouth and this time she buried her dear nanny Mati. Ginny would not have done anything anymore to Mati since she did not consider her a threat anymore until she found out she talked. So Vero should have kept quiet until Ginny was safely locked away...

NovelaMaven, Totally agree, I think I will watch this (at least the eps I can) to the end because in Friday's ep, Vero grew a brain and Pablo a nerve (yes this scene plot has been used in Canaveral, its remake Abismo de Pasion, in Ramona and more recently in memory scenes in Amores con Trampa (Facu stole Maria from the altar when she was about to marry Florencio)...

Thanks Everyone. Great episode, great Patiocap. I wondered about Pablo's horse. He ran him in rough terrain for a long long time at what looked like full throttle. When they galloped into the church I expected the horse to be thirsty and lathered but the horse looked fresh as a daisy. Wow, what an animal. :-)
 

Emi will probably live in Mina Escondida with Nancy and just travel to the city on business.

I can see Marty/Veronica & Maggie/Botel coming back to Mexico City, with visits to the mine.

Salma's anvil will be to be dumped by Jorge and left with less money than she has access to now. I don't really see Jorge leaving her broke.

As long as Manny & Grumps are alive, I don't see Pablo wanting to stay in Pueblo Nuevo with AP. He'll take her (and Blanquita) to Mexico City.

But, after Grumps/Manny are dealt with, I could see Marty/Vero/Botel making Pablo an administrator of the mine while they live in Mexico City. That way AP could be close to her family. Pablo's artist days are over, I think.
 

Thank you everyone .. I just have to rest my foot for two weeks and I'll be fine .. they gave me crutches to use so I can move around .. but they are hard to get used to .. I've never used them before.

I'm looking forward to a brand new week of Lo Imperdonable. I absolutely loved the cliffhanger we were left with on Friday with Pablo riding into the church on the horse. Just a few hours more until we find out what will happen.

Will Gramps keel over? Oh I hope so. Keeping my fingers crossed. :)

About the wedding, was anyone else surprised that Joaquin was there with the rest of the family. Wasn't he vanished from The Goat Family? What was he doing there?!

And when will we find out what happened to Medel and the cantina..?

That's very interesting and I like how she follows along with the comments. I also wonder how many other stars do that as well. There are some pretty funny comments on social media (Twitter) that I've read about Lo Imperdonable. #LoImperdonableUS
