Nina, Regina and Jorge visit Erick in the hospital. He says he feels like crap. Erick thinks Regina is faking her concern for his health. Regina and Jorge leave.
David brings Dani home. He promises to talk to Nina about helping her with her drug problem. Regina and Jorge arrive while D&D are hugging. Awkward...
Back at the hospital Erick says he can't stand the pain anymore and wants to go home. Nina tells him he has to be on complete bedrest and stay at the hospital under observation. Art arrives. Erick is not happy that Art is there. Art just wants to make sure he is okay. Erick throws it back at his father that the last time they spoke, he (Art) had told him (Erick) that he was no longer supporting him anymore. Now it's Erick that does not want to know anything about his father.
Regina updates D&D on Erick's condition. Dani and Regina argue about Dani supporting Erick and Regina supporting Miguel and Connie. David breaks up the fight. Each couple says goodnight.
Erick and Art argue over Connie's rape. Art does not believe Erick. Nina wants Art out of the room. Art tells Nina that if she won't tell him then he will get info on Erick's condition through the doctors or hospital.
Regina tries to have a heart to heart talk with Dani about her drug results. Regina says she is trying to get close to Dani because she loves her and is concerned. Dani tells Regina that she doesn't need her because she has everything she needs with David. He knows about the test results and is going to help her.
Art goes to visit Connie and wants to hear from her mouth that Erick raped her. She says yes. Art has finally realized that Miguel and Connie love each other and belong together. He promises to help Connie get her son back so that she can be happy with Miguel and her baby.
Franco shows Eladio the newspaper headline featuring the feuding Montenegro brothers. Eladio is pleased. David comes into Eladio's office wanting to talk.
Nina sees the newspaper story and is upset. She shows the story to Erick. They argue about how this will affect the family company. Erick still has head pain.
David wants to talk about Dani. David asks Eladio for help finding a therapist for her. Dani arrives at Eladio's office. Eladio tells Dani that her behavior concerns him not only because she is the company spokesmodel, but she is also his son's girlfriend.
Art is upset when he sees the story about Erick and Miguel. Art tells Lulis to keep an eye on Dani so that she will stay off the drugs. He wants her to be with Dani 24/7.
Eladio tells Franco and David that GLA is the chosen company to do the Rivera Maya project.
Julia reads the newspaper article about the brothers. Hummy suggests that she call Art to offer support. Julia does not want to and tells her father to stop telling her what to do when it comes to Art. Julia tells Hummy that he better not have a "special interest" in her getting back with Art. Hummy denies it. Hummy gets a phone call from a friends' son, but we don't get to find out the reason for that call. The friends name is Juliano Quesada.
Franco and David tell Eladio that they are going to need alot of money for such a big project. Eladio thinks they can partner with another company, but David and Franco reject that idea. Franco thinks that it's best to go public and put company shares on the market to make the money they need quickly. Eladio doesn't look convinced.
Rueda tells Auggie, Regina and Jorge that Erick will charge Miguel with attempted murder.
Marco gripes to Franco about not having any help in the accounting department since Francisco left. Franco blames Eladio. Franco tells Marco that GLA shares will soon go public and Marco needs to buy the maximum amount of shares that he can buy with the money they embezzled.
Art and Eladio meet at the Businessman's Association. They argue about the Rivera Maya project and about Art's family problems with Miguel, Erick and Dani. Art accuses Eladio over the newspaper article and Eladio takes credit for it. It was payback for telling Julia about Franco. Eladio is sure that Erick killed TheRat and that Art covered for him by paying off the witness. Eladio just doesn't have proof. Art grabs Eladio by the collar, but Eladio tells him to calm down if he wants him to help Dani with her drug problem. Eladio leaves. Art tries to calm down. Auggie walks up and wants to know what's going on.
Hummy visits Franco at work. He is furious at Franco for selling Gaby's parents factory.
Gaby talks to Caridad about her marital problems. Caridad promises to talk to Franco. She asks Gaby not to tell Eladio about the marital problems because it could cause problems for Franco.
Hummy tells Franco that he will keep Franco's secrets if he will keep his. He wants a cut of the sale of his daughters factory.
Art is pissed about loosing the Rivera Maya project to Eladio. Auggie blames it on Julia and says that despite being divorced, she doesn't want anything to do with Art. Art claims Julia needs time, and the kids need time to adjust. Auggie tells him to forget about Julia and to concentrate on his family. Art says he can't.
Hummy wants 25% of the sale of the factory and he knows how much Franco received for it because he knows the person who purchased it. Franco agrees.
Alone, Julia reads a love letter from Eladio and cries.
Art claims that his relationship with Julia is on hold until things get better. By then she will want to be with him. For now Art is focused on Miguel's case. Auggie tells him that Miguel might spend alot of time in jail depending on Erick's long term diagnosis. Art feels like crap. He wants to know what he did wrong to have all these problems with his kids. Auggie feels his pain.
David and Lulis accompany Dani to her therapy session.
Regina walks into Erick's hospital room and overhears Erick telling his doctor friend that he's been doing a good job faking his illness and he needs to continue to help him.
Connie tells Clarita that she is desperate to see her baby. Clarita is pissed about everything, including the rape and Miguel being in jail.
Erick tries to backtrack with what Regina heard. He says that she only cares about Miguel and what happens to him. Erick plays the victim. The doctor says he's concerned because Erick is starting to have memory problems.
Hummy tells Julia that he went to visit Franco to work out their problems. Julia believes all his lies.
Art visits Miguel is jail and tells him that his case has become more complicated because Erick's injuries are serious. Miguel feels like crap for what he did and for hurting his dad.
Marco shows Franco that he has already bought GLA shares in their fake company names.
Gaby talks with David about her marital problems. David promises to talk with Franco and calls him over the phone so they can meet in his apartment. Gaby leaves.
Art goes to visit Erick. The doctor said that Erick has to stay under observation. Art tells him to be patient. Chimp boy tells his father that he feels bad for not being so efficient and that he admires Art. The sad chimp says he knows that he is a disappointment to Art. Chimp boy says he's sorry. Art tells him that he doesn't agree with everything he does, but he does love him.
Connie visits Miguel in jail. She says she will visit him every chance she gets. Miguel tells her that if he was sentenced to life in jail he wouldn't want to tie her down. He would want her to be free and be happy. She says she can't be happy with anyone else.
Franco arrives at David's apartment. First they talk about business then Franco sees a sweater on the couch. His face changes and it seems that he thinks Gaby is eavesdropping from the bedroom. When David asks how things are going with Gaby Franco tells him that he doesn't know what to do anymore to show Gaby how much he loves her. He too is feeling hurt that he won't be able to have children. He asks David for help.
Connie tells Auggie that she is super worried about Miguel. Auggie informs her that Erick's lawyer has postponed the appeal indefinitely for custody of EJ because of Erick's condition.
David talks with Dani over the phone. His mother shows up at his apartment. She is worried about Dani's drug use and how it's a risk for David. She would prefer that David break up with her.
Connie visits Art at GM and tells him that she wants to give her and EJ's shares of the company to Erick so that he can forgive Miguel and everything can go back to normal. Art doesn't think it's a good idea. Connie says she's desperate and cries on Art's shoulder. Nina walks in and tells Connie that it won't do her any good to cry on Art's shoulder, although come to think of it he has made some bad decisions lately...

I have the scoop of the year: Franco is not Eladio's son, he is Humberto's son! These two greedy rat bastards are so alike, the resemblance is uncanny! All joking aside, I believe that the Gómez Luna divorce and Eladio's insistence in giving Julia a substancial chunk of GLA actions in the settlement may wind up saving part of the family fortune from Franco's grand embezzlement scheme. I doubt he would be able to pull it off but, then again, Eladio has put his guard way down of late, so maybe Julia will be his savior from financial ruin.
The Montenegro family drama is getting a bit tedious. Chimp Boy is in the hospital again? Half the cast of PyP has been hospitalized: David, Julia, Montserrat, Franco, Erick, Consuelo, Erick again... ¡Ya aburren con lo mismo!

He leeches off his one and only grandchild by not ratting Franco out. The person who called him is the source of the info because the factory is in Aguas Calientes. Humberto knows the amount of the purchase.
Of course, considering that this is Ultimas Semanas and we've had a hint of this, Franco could be offing him before payment -- in cash -- is due.
Nina has not turned over any new leaf. She is just as nasty and eager to defend Ape Child as ever. She still hates Consuelo. While Ape Child hasn't confided his latest scheme to her I'm sure she'd go along with this since she doesn't want Miguel to inherit anything.
In view of this my hope for her Karmageddon is that Erick lives to go to prison for his crimes and she visits him there.... and gets harassed by the entire cell block.

Well, now the tables have turned, and it is Hummy who has Franco in his hands now. This was a great turn of events for sure. For sure, Hummy will gamble away the 25% that he will receive from Franco.
Arturo wants to know what he did wrong with his kids? Well, maybe he should have been there for them instead of being an absent father. I know he had to work but he could have found time for his family which is what should have been most important than work.
I'm glad that Regina overheard Erick asking the Dr. to continue helping him. I hope she tells Agistín and Arturo and they all get to the bottom of things before Consuelo makes a stupid move and gives Erick her shares of GM.

Somehow I simply can't see Franco complying with this. In fact, from what I could gather from his conversation with Marcos, Franco has already dedicated that money to another purpose. The stairs beckon. He'll be sorely missed.

I predict that someone like Agustin will find out that Erick staged the kidnapping and collected the ransom money and jewels. This will be revealed to the police unless Erick withdraws the assault and battery (attempted murder?) charges against Miguel.

I think Erick killed Ratt. He is super stupid, has a hot temper and is impulsive. In his mind it was an accident because it wasn't premeditated. We know he returned. I think he got mad at her for pushing off his advances and he got mad and pushed her, where she lost her footing and went over. In his anger he took back the necklace. Who would think to do that after just watching someone fall to their death? To me, that means at that point he was in control of his faculties.
Humberto will never gamble away that money because Humberto will be either having his oxygen cut off or taking a tumble down the stairs.

I though the witness was legitimate. He looked it anyway when Art tried to buy him off. I think Eladio knows that the witness id'd Erick and then suddenly went back on his word. Though this is a TN and crazy surprised do pop up. I will be horribly dismayed if Eladio is the killer.

When Franco went to Dav's house Franco noticed "something on couch" and did a double take. I couldnt tell what that object was, so therefore I didnt understand why Franco did double take when he saw something on the couch. You explained very nicely what it was and that Frsnco thought Gaby was there.
I totally believe and agree with others opinion that Franco will "deshacer" (do away with) Humberto.

I never understood why Daniela as a Gomez Luna house model would be posing in a bikini, away from any buildings. I thought Eladio's company was involved in building and developing houses, apartments, and hotels. So, why the bikini shots?

Carlos, emotional intelligence is the ability to read other people's feelings. It's the perfect skill for a grifter, con artist, sociopath. He knows how to scam and how to hurt.
Both Franco and Erick have this skill. Franco hides his hatred and contempt more effectively than Erick does and in combination with his good looks he would be a much more effective grifter if his emotions didn't get in the way. He is more intelligent than Erick, but he will trip himself up soon with so few episodes left.

Emotional intelligence is also important for someone to succeed in life . It has to do with being self aware and aware of how others feel. People need emotional intelligence in order to have empathy. Err manipulates people. He does not empathize with them. He does seem to know how to play the victim in manipulating his family members. I don't know if I would call that ability emotional intelligence.

I love all of these predictions. Until last night, I had forgotten about Francisco. If he were to return, I like him with Connie. She and Miguel make me vomit in my mouth and I don't like how that taste. Stomach juices and all - yep, nasty!
Hummy, Franco, Erick - Please just go to jail and die, thanks and goodnight.
Gaby - penniless until her stalker Auggie rescues her from the puppy pound.
Julia - with or w/o Eladio, I'm starting not to care so she better hurry up and get it together.
Dani/David - wouldn't mind seeing them go off to happy land, but either way he is not with Regina.
Regina - not with Jorge (he's in the puppy pound too waiting for some girl to rescue him) maybe living in New York not bothering decent men and making them unhappy.
Eladio - maybe he's back with Julia, maybe he's moved on and gets Nina pregnant.
Art - in the psych ward of the hospital being fed goldfish crackers Japanese restaurant hibachi grill style. 'catch!'

I'm not convinced those punches have hurt Erick in any way. He was completely fine afterwards, except for the bruises. The doc stated that what he saw on the xrays was from the coma. Erick has shown no symptoms of anything since the coma or the punches. He is fine.
I don't think the Chimp will die, at least not until the very end if at all. And the ability to read the emotions of others doesn't mean he cares about them.
In the case of what went down in the police lockup he was definitely stupid because his sense of entitlement trumps everything else about him.

Surely there were several CTs, MRIs, and likely a PET scan or two during the time that Erick was in coma. I imagine that Dr. Osvaldo has compared these new studies with those done earlier and sees something disturbing or he wouldn't have recommended that Erick be hospitalized. While he may have encouraged Erick to exaggerate his symptoms to achieve his goals, I didn't see or hear anything to suggest that he is profiting from all this even though Erick has offered to reward him. He did mention the condo that Erick loaned him earlier but this was apparently prior to his beating and seems to have been done out of friendship.

There should have been, but I don't recall them nor do I recall Erick being told to be careful or come for a follow-up test.
And, dash it all, since these series are always more than a little vague on the passage of time we can't be completely sure how long it's been since he was released.

Out distroying some one elses family. Some people can't seem to wrap their brains around the fact that what goes around really does come back around and whacks the hell out of you. He was enjoying destroying julia's relatiionship with her son, his daughter,his wife, julias marriage, yes it was a fake marriage in a sence but julia and eladio was happy, however shortlived. He just enjoyed running over people to get what was no longer his to have. But what the hell, consequences be damned he wanted it anyway. And still don't have her.
The fact that he could ask that question tells me what an arrogant SOB he is. I like eladio more than I like arturo. But eladio's is coming too, in the form of franco. Who also is next. O them anvils are a comin. I wonder who'll get the bigger one.
