I can't wait! This episode was incredible for lots of reasons.

With Sole in jail, the only one at the pension that knows the "real" Analet, and that could watch over AnaLu, is consumed w/ Valentine.

Virginia, Ana in her WTF yellow ?Dress? was sickening. Oh, my dear sister I have missed you so much. Ohhh to be able to hug my sweet adorable sister, I never want to let you go again...etc. She really emphasized the let you go again. Hmmm

Then she got right to the chase and started getting really aggressive, I guess you could call it, with AnaLuc. IE: Before I knew you were my sister I just knew some tramp was banging my husband. He was in my bed one night and yours the next day. Did he seduce you or did you seduce him? Then she started going through her bureau and finding some of Santi's things in there. Then the practice strangling with the scarf. I can't recall all it, but I hate her, I remember that.

I couldn't watch Ramiro and AnaLLaur, I just kept thinking of that plastic leg tapping him in the butt. They were both on cloud Nineteen next morning, so all is well.

Actually, AnaLaura's prosthetic is metal, and it fits below her knee. She would take it off in bed (for whatever reason), so it would only be her real leg touching Ramiro.

I have to share with you that I had polio when I was a child and one leg is smaller than the other, so technically I am disabled. However, the only thing it kept me from doing was skiing...


Unlike AnaLaura, I never worried about how my leg looked to the opposite sex. I
figured that they knew about my leg and if they wanted to be with me, why should I be worry about it...
 

Great acting all the way around:

Evaristo almost giddy begging Santiago/Marcelo to shoot him but being left to live as revenge.

Iñaki and Ana Leticia reacting like two hysterical hyenas to Iñaki's murder of Isidro. What was Ana Leticua expecting from someone just as deranged as herself? These two criminals deserve each other.

The look of horror, hate and fear On Ana Leticia's face as she sees Ana Lucía for the first time and getting a hug from HER tío Mariano to boot(!)

Ana Leticia a little too "roughly" playing with the scarf around Ana Lucía's neck and Ana Lucía looking none too sure about her newly found "sister."

Will slimy Orlando be the one to break it all open with his photos of Iñaki and Ana Leticia disposing of Isidro's body or in his blackmailing (just a guess) of them will he end up dead buried in his own little grave in the woods?

This was all way too much fun! :)

Virginia- You, my dear, are a confident, vivacious woman. Ana Laura should have been coming to you for advice. But now that Ramiro has seen her in all her glory, and loved every minute of it, I think she'll realize she should have never been so self-conscious about it in the first place. Let's hope this new confidence in he bedroom spills over into the rest of her life.

I also hope that AnaLu starts to see through AnaLet's double talk, and see her for the mean girl she is. Perhaps her time with frienemy Maribel was training for a frienemy sister. Of course, she was never very good at picking up on Maribel's competitive jealousy, so...
 

We need to hope that Ana Lucia will remember how mean Ana Leticia was when they were children. That one scene in the car prior to the accident was highly indicative of her selfishness and mean spiritedness. She did have an ill-at-ease expression through most of that scene.

Mariano still doesn't realize the depth of Ana MeMeME's narcissism, obsessions, or perversity. This is usually because he knew her from when she was born but doesn't live with her 24/7. It'a also too easy for a person in that position to become blind to the faults of a younger relative. However, we have seen too much to cut him any slack over this. I think Viridiana might have a clue; she certainly has to believe that there is something incredibly sick about this girl.

Orlando will probably try to blackmail her but that would be a huge mistake. Note that she didn't pay him anything for info about where Ana Lucia lives because she remembered what Inaki told her and went to the pension. Orlando could be kicking himself over that tonight. Whether he decides to get even remains to be seen. However, the evidence of the murder is on his cell phone so if he ends up dead and the police find the phone before Ana MeMeME or Inaki does the photos will put them both in the slammer.
 

Virginia, I admire your confidence. You make my lifelong insecurity about my looks seem incredibly superficial.

It will probably still take a while for Ana Laura to feel more confident in public. I hope she is giving a concert in the finale episode. And I'll say it again: She needs to start playing some Beethoven! Would it be too much to ask if they'd have her play Piano Concerto #5 with a decent orchestra backing her? That would make her proud of herself and the reviews in the paper can torment our little sociopath.
 

Jarifa, I agree that the acting in this episode was superb. I especially enjoyed watching Inaki and AnaLet scrambling around like two children about to get caught and blaming each other for getting in trouble. I'll bet Pedro and Angelique had a great time filming this scene!

Finally...the meeting between AnaLu and AnaLet! Again, Boyer outdid herself. At first, AnaLu seemed riddled with guilt from all the cruel insinuations being thrown at her. However, as the scene unfolded, I think (hope) she was beginning to have doubts about AnaLet's sincerity. If, and when, she witnesses AnaLet's cruelty to AnaLaura, AnaLu will begin to see her for the evil person she is.

Was I mistaken, or did Santicelo express concern for AnaLu's safety to Inaki?

Vivi in DC, thank you for your compliments. I'm not saying there are not times that get me down, but that happens to everyone. I have been fortunate to be surrounded by people who encouraged me and didn't feel sorry for me-at least they didn't show it. I have had a wonderful life and still have many things I want to accomplish...


 

Victoria- There was definitely some Santi in the Marcelo that was talking to Inaki-- expressing concern for AnaLu's safety and warning Inaki he better keep AnaLet from hurting her, as well as warning Inaki to watch his back with AnaLet if he's going to insist on having a relationship with her. In fact, it seemed more like he was original recipe Marcelo- tough, but with his humanity intact.
 

I really enjoyed everyone's comments today.

I liked the way they handled Ramiro and Ana Laura's storyline. It was sweet with everything left to the imagination.

Virginia, thank you for sharing your story. Proof positive that people with disabilities have unlimited abilities.

I had to smile that Orlando is the fly in everyone's ointment that just won't go away.

Ana Lucia seemed unsure of her sister. UA I also picked up on "She did have an ill-at-ease expression through most of that scene". Had I been she, I might have picked up on the fact my scarf was drawn a bit tight. I am hoping she keeps her wits about her as "Perhaps her time with frienemy Maribel was training for a frienemy sister". Hope you are right Vivi!

Another thing we discussed before. I and a few of us thought Marc/Santi got the second key from Evil, and I was Quite wrong according to what we saw last night. Evil on his (He hoped) deathbed gave Santi the key along with all his other secrets. And we learned it is a key to a safe. DRATS ! I wish I had taken notes now, there was something about a man's name, concerning what is in the safe but I was not paying attention. Recap will clear that up I'm sure.

It was Alfredo (Remedios' husband), whom I think Evaristo killed. The information was about another betrayal, but we can't be sure Evaristo is telling the truth. Not because he's intentionally lying but because of the Alzheimer's.

Kudos to Eric del Castillo for the courageous performance. He is 86 years old.

It occurred to me that Ana MeMeME's suggestion to not tell Ernestina yet is all about wanting to kill Ana Lucia before Ana Laura gets back from her weekend with Ramiro. Does she then actually expect to tell anyone that Mariano was hallucinating Ana Lucia's presence?
 

What a good episode!

The production team have done such a great job of differentiating the three Ana's in terms of their personalities and make-up. AnaLu looks so pretty and natural all the time, with her auburn hair and warm skin tones. AnaLau always looks plain and pale. And AnaLeticia looks trashier and harder with each passing day. The scenes between sweet and natural AnaLu and the cruel AnaLe were hard to watch for so many reasons, including the harshness of AnaLe's appearance in contrast to AnaLu's beauty and sweetness and in this case confusion. She still is in the world of her upbringing with Soledad and all this new and threatening stuff is coming at her.

I was so glad that Ramiro and AnaLau made it through their first night together. I loved when she said to herself that it was time to start living. Her kindness to AnaLu will really matter.

So many themes with the keys, safety deposit box and what secrets Alfredo left. In the previews, Facundo is with Evaristo looking at something in a safety deposit box (I think) that will devastate SantMarcelo. Rodrigo is going to see Remedios presumably because he told Ramiro that he would be attentive to her but now I am wondering where he comes into this as he was Facundo's great friend.

And, for what it's worth, I think now that Evaristo was the one who switched bodies and saved Marcelo for reasons having to do with money and whatever else is in the box. He double-dealt AnaLe and used his concern for Soledad (real but not as much as money?) as his cover. All speculation but it's the only thing that makes sense to me right now. Just not sure about Facundo's role in this and whether he will be redeemed in the end.

Love this forum for all the ways that people contribute great ideas and truths from their lives. I will remember your thoughts, Virginia, and the positive comments that followed long after the Ana's have moved on! I used to teach in a program that had several disability studies courses and appreciated the reminder that we all have disabilities of one kind or another at some point in our lives and these are do not deter those with inner strength and determination. If only social attitudes would catch up with the society!
 

Angelique is so petite in real life, that I had to wonder just how small that yellow dress(?) looked on a hanger. The thing was so tight, and short, and cut up to almost her wooha.
 

Vivi - I thought it would be hard to beat the skin-tight shiny pants she wore through the killing of Isidro, but she did it with that dress! It is hard to fathom how tiny that dress must be.

I hope that Angelique gets a lot rest after this novela. She is in so many scenes and generally plays at least two of the triplets in every episode.
 

That is the thing that is difficult for actors, the amount of screen time rather than differentiating the characters. Those scenes need to be shot twice and put together in the editing room. There needs to be two stand-ins for this situation, one of which has a prosthesis.

I don't think Angelique is really that petite. IMDB says she is 5'5.5", which is normal. She mostly wears high heels because the guys are tall. Sebastian Rulli's height is given as 6'1.5".
 

So the key was indeed with Evaristo. I stand corrected then. But he seemed to grab something from Evaristo's pockets, and also grabbed his cell phone. Or was it made to appear that he took something, I'll have to rewatch it.

Virginia Proud of you, amiga. I have a disability in my eyesight. I'm legally blind without prescription wear. My disability has helped my insecurity, b/c I can always remove my glasses/contacts when a guy isn't the most attractive, haha. Cutting the lights helps too, I guess :P I'm glad AnaLau wanted to keep the lights on and I adored the pep talk she gave herself. Our sensitive triplet is growing :)

I think Oily still has leverage to bribe with, since he took that video. Which makes me wonder why they didn't dump the body in the ocean where it's harder to retrieve. That video will be poor quality, and wouldn't prove what was in the bag. Throwing it in the woods will make sure that isn't the last time we see Isidro's bloodied face.

Ughhhhh, me and my mom were so annoyed at the avances. Linking Fackmundo to Ev, really? As if Ev wasn't already omnipresent. So now Fac-man is a likely candidate for the powerful man, although why switch his son's body & pretend to go into hiding? My money is still on Dreadmundo.

As to Angelique getting a lot of rest after this novela I have heard two things:
1) she and Sebastian are going to take separate vacations-she in France with her family, and he in Spain with his family.

2)they are planning a motorcycle trip to (or in) Alaska. There was even a YouTube video of them shopping for warm coats for the trip...

Anyone know more about this?
 

Urban I know, I'm always baffled when I see how many scenes they have to do like that. Sometimes they do such a good job (like yesterday) that I forget. And when Boyer wears sneakers as AnaLu, she does appear short. But her petiteness, I think, comes from her frame. She's pretty tiny, most especially in Teresa. Nowadays, she looks more athletic since they've got her training in aerial-silks.

Oh how I LOVED the Inaki scenes fighting with AnaLet, and then with Marc. I was rooting for Inaki, and my mom for Santi. Then I was tryna explain that it was Marc, not Santi. But suddenly it seemed like he switched personalities midway through. Even the captions switched the name from Marcelo to Santiago. Maybe it was a golpe that did it, or is he now in control of both his egos?

Listen, I'm still at Inaki's table with my feet propped up and my purse plopped at the nearest empty seat. Here's why: We supported Ev despite seeing the intentional attempt at murder of Marc, Dani, and his admitting to murdering Sole's dad (among others). So if I'm happy being at Ev's table, then I have no issue continuing to support my bad boy, Inaki. Unlike, Santi, Inaki isn't a wimp when it comes down to eradicating jerks who deserve it. But like Santi, he feels remorse and inner conflict afterwards. Both murders were crimes of passion, and the last one wasn't so much a crime as it was self-defense. Unlike AnaLet, his victims aren't innocent. He's also impulsive, not premeditative like Ev. I watched after reading the recap & went in expecting it to be as gruesome as you all described, but it was pretty quick & I think seeing it coming eased my ill-will. Isidro was looking to force himself on her, I have no sympathy.
 

Anna, missed your comment. Re: your disability...It surely doesn't dampen your wit. You are so creative in your writing. I always look forward to your recaps and giggle all the way through.

As to your disability and the opposite sex-good thinking. At 71, I really don't have to worry about that anymore. My second husband and I will be married 36 years in Nov. and he's a keeper! (By the way, I'm a cougar. He is four years younger than me.)
 

Anna- Inaki bashed Isidro's head to the counter a total of FIVE times! (I counted last night.) Not necessary in the least. I'm not weeping for Isidro, but Inaki has issues. In any case, this had now sealed his fate for sure. Death or prison.

Never sat at the Ev table. Never liked the man. Always hated that he was pulling everyone's strings and was everywhere all at once. I am enjoying him totally losing control of everything, even his own mind.

The SantMarc we saw with Inaki was tough and ruthless, but also understanding and empathetic. It was original Marcelo. I don't even think HE knew who he was, because when he threatened Inaki before he left, he spoke of both Santi and Marcelo in the third person.
 

Virginia The only thing I know is that there's rumors of her expecting due to a supposed baby bump. Just this past Wednesday (Sep 28, the same day they were caught looking at engagement rings), she was seen at a romantic dinner with him near his place and made two toasts with drinking water. Rulli's rep has neither confirmed or denied, so if true they may need to postpone their moto trip.
 

Virginia, thanks for sharing that with us. So many people overcome so many things that it's hard to fathom Ana Laura's attitude and that of almost everyone around her... it's just so backwards. Maybe attitudes about disabilities are different in Mexico. If so, I hope we see a much more confident Ana Laura 2.0 coming back from her trip.

This episode was awesome. Poor Ramiro, he got a second room for nothing, though I'm sure he doesn't mind. ;-)

And call me crazy, but I thought Mariano should have been calling Ana Laura right away. "I know you're having all kinds of sex with Ramiro right now, but trust me, you do NOT want to miss this! This is the ONE thing worth coming home early for!"

I was thinking - I might have been wrong - that in the very last scene, when AnaLet said she was never going to let AnaLu go again, she looked sincere, as if she'd had a breakthrough (or maybe just a sudden burst of clarity, as has happened once or twice when talking with Ana Laura). Is it too much to hope that AnaLet's shriveled heart is being made whole? Yes, it's probably too much to hope. But I always thought that the triplets would be different, healed, when their three-piece puzzle was finally reassembled.
 

Good Golly Miss Molly! Anna, where did you get this info? It would make my day! I just love these two together and I know he would love to have a child with her. I can just picture him strutting around carrying a baby...

IE: Marky Marc didn't kill EV, and now Santi is beginning to have memories which were previously Marc only memories. I believe we are being shown the two reuniting as one so that by the end of the show we have a happy mix of the two and they don't have to do camera trickery to show both Marc and Santi at the after show party. Only kidding about camera trickery.

And I'm good with what's happening to Ev. Marcelo said he wasn't going to kill him, so that Ev could experience what Marc had experienced, not being able to remember anything. Bwahahaha.

And it's not just what Ev did to Marc. Pretty much every person in Ev's sphere was missing at least one crucial piece of information because of Ev. Decades of family memories were deferred because of him. It's only fair that he should lose some decades of memories himself.
 

Vivi Yeah I get you, but I've thrown more punches than that in the same amount of time. In the moment everything happens fast, so in my mind, what I saw felt pretty quick. And for me, it doesn't matter the amount of times he bashed his head, it's a matter of whether he remains human. And although he's slowly losing his humanity, he's well aware of his dark-side and seems to be slowly embracing it. And I will embrace this bad boy, flaws & all, so long as he remains lovable. He's got issues for sure, but I find him way more enjoyable to watch than Ev. The way he was mocking and imitating AnaLet "I've got this, I've got this" was hilarious. And the way he fought SanMarc, makes him my favorite baddie. Such a quality actor.

The only comparable head bashing scene I can think of was the opening scene of "Wild at Heart" (1990) where the Nicholas Cage character is bashing some guy's head in on a marble floor/staircase long past when he is dead. It was clearly "overkill" there just like here, but hey, neither Iñaki or Ana Leticia is capable of self-control for long.
 

Yikes..I have not seen the last few episodes, but last night, I surfed in just as INaki and Analetmehelpyou were throwing the bodybag old dude's body into the woods! INaki helpfully unzipped the bag so that I could see the victim. Inaki, your obsession with Analetmeseduceyou has doomed you, sport.

Virginia, Kudos to you for your self-confidence and grace. When someone truly loves you, you are beautiful to that person.

I love scarves, but now, every time I put one on , I will see ANaletmestrangleyou, wrapping that pretty scarf around ANaLUs tiny neck.

I got a kick out of the two girls facing each other at the dining table...ANaletmemakeyoudisappear in her black heels and sister in her workboots.

I was disappointed they didn't show Ram take off AnaLlora's prosthesis. I was kinda looking forward to the moment she revealed herself without it. Kinda like the scene of Mariano seeing her for the first time. Oh well.

Did Inaki know that AnaLet had ordered the murder of Marcelo? He seemed a little surprised when Marcelo told him but then he could have just been playing along. Either way, this info didn't faze him in the least and he was smiling at the end.

Orly now has real goods on AnaLet and Inaki. I'm sure he will play it for money but hope he makes a backup and sends to someone. But who? Guy has no friends.

I liked that Marcelo wouldn't kill Ev but left him die confused with no past. Seems fitting after the brutal death he tried to deliver to Marcelo.
 

Julie...perhaps Analetmetightenthisscarfabit, meant that she was never going to let go of that noose she had around poor ANalu's neck. The look on ANalu's face was priceless.
 

I think that the writers have made Inaki one of the more textured characters in this novela and the actor's skill has enhanced the ambiguity of his character. He strikes me as a very damaged character with good qualities (loyalty to Javier, loyalty to Santiago before he got mixed up with AnaLe) but also full of rage and capable of real violence. We have also been given reasons for his rage in Julieta, hardly the most appealing of characters. I have hated to see his descent to the dark side and hate even more what it will mean to Tadeo and Javier.

AnaLe seemed to have the reaction to AnaLucia as she does to AnaLau: capable of horrible ugliness and violence and also torn by some kinship (triplet connection?) that brings tears to her eyes. The moment she says "hermanita" we know there is trouble a-brewing.

Anna - Sounds like watching this is much more fun at your house than mine. Neither my husband nor my little pooch react much at all to this novela. Very frustrating! .
 

Despite his excellent depiction of a dude in a rapid slide down the slippery slope of evilness, INaki is a very attractive guy. I would like to see him in a galan role so that he could be my new telenovio.
 

As to the head smash, Jamie in OUtlander was able to knock out the villain by smashing his head into a table once..knocked the guy out cold but did not kill him...should have because the baddie later did verra bad things to Jamie ...verra, verra bad.


 

Traveling It's only fun b/c we feed off of my mom's intensity. She's even more committed than me to this show! She was telling me yesterday, "I don't know what I'm going to do when it's over". There's 7 weeks left, but she hates when I remind her lol.

I, too, was ready to hate the descent of this character, and realized by resisting, I wasn't allowing myself to enjoy his development. I love that you call him textured, I couldn't have used a better word. Santi is also finally developing, finally! He's beginning to understand and embrace his darkness. Inaki is doing the same, albeit faster and more self-destructive. I'm trying to appreciate every moment before he descends into full bad guy.

UA..I think that Angie is padding her height info. She has very tiny features. I would bet that she is just a bit over 5 feet Nada in reality. I am a tiny person who has been known to add an inch or two to my height on forms. Angie wears very high heels and is still shorter than any of the other actors and actresses . That is just my guess. ...5 feet and well under 100 pounds soaking wet...Tinkerbell.

 

Susanlynn It's possible, the length of her calves tell me anywhere between 5'2 and 5'4. My sister is 5'0 and Angelique is nowhere near that short.

Virginia Apparently, the half-japanese Sachi Tamashiro (Maribel) and Sebastian had a bit of a thing going back in 2014 before he got together w/ Boyer. Could just be gossip, or just her practicing the part of jealous bestie for TVA lol.
 

Ramiro was so cute. Looked like he wanted to break out into a happy dance when Ana Laura said she was going in the bathroom to, ahem, get herself together. Loved it. Thought of that Etta James song, "At last."

Anna, yep funny when Iñaki was mimicking Ana Le. A hot guy that can make me laugh is irresistable, and Iñaki has always been good for a laugh, like when he used to bum rides from Ram saying his (fake) car was in the shop.

I don't think Iñaki knew before that Ana Le tried to have Marcelo murdered. I think this pleases him in a way because to him it means Ana Le didn't love her husband so much after all, not like she loves him (Iñaki).

Virginia and Anna, thanks for sharing about your "disability." ITA with everybody that Anna Laura would've put AnaLe in her place long ago if she'd had you in her family.

No idea what will happen next and I like it. I'm still mad at Solebad, but I am touched by her care of Valeria in their prison cell. The only two characters I 100% flat out can't stand are Ratmundo and Facundo.

Niece in MD, I agree with you that I have NO IDEA what will happen next, but lately, each episode is more exciting than the last so I am content to just be surprised.

The only things that would hurt are if Santi dies and AnaLet kills AnaLuc. Of course, then, they could just walk off into the sunset (or the dock) together holding hands. But, I don't think that will happen.
 

Niecie You know what, I was kinda touched too. I think it was the first time I really appreciated her nurturing side, and can maybe see that it does exist beyond the form of manipulation. Been so used to questioning her intentions, but here she showed selflessness & caring. I believe she even offered her the lower bunk so Ria (Valeria) doesn't trouble herself.

She's still got a long way to go to redeem herself, and tonight she'll meet Erne! I suppose Erne will go visit Ria, and Sole will assume she's there for her, leading her to openly admit to her wrongs.
 

I thought it was funny that AnaLet let Inaki clean up the mess while she went home with the money in her trunk.

Sole helping Val didn't move me. This is the same woman who threatened to take Chana down with her.

I liked that Ram was nervous before being with AnaLlora. It was sweet.
 

Good thinking, Anna... maybe this is how Ernestina finds out about AnaLu. It seems that nobody is going to find out about it in the "correct" way (like Mariano wanted to tell Ern and Laura in a few days; Ramiro wanted to tell Laura in six months, etc.). This is making me wonder if Laura is going to find out about it in the "wrong" way as well.
 

If we are going for a total of 120 (which is what I thought was the last word), we've only got three weeks left. Considering how much there is left to wrap up, we might actually get things resolved at a reasonable pace and not still waiting for everything at the last minute.

I am REALLY glad the pace has picked up. I hope it continues like this all the way to the end.
 

Vino el Amor starts in three weeks, on Tuesday, October 25th. So the last day for 3xAna is Monday the 24th.
 

Vivi.thanks for the heads up on WIne of LOve. It looks as though IRina will play a good girl in this one unlike her role in PYP. I am anxious to see those scenes or beautiful Napa ,so I will give this novela a try even though I am not a Soto fan. I cannot seem to shake his Al onslow portrayal in ENimiga QUerida! P.s. I have to sign off and correct tests,.............


 

Oh, THAT Soto. Yeah, I didn't like him in QE, but I do like vino, so maybe this TN will appeal to me... or maybe I'll sit it out. I'll decide when I know more. I am a little tuckered out after Hotel/Yago/TVA and holidays on the horizon.
 

Ahh, but you guys didn't see Soto as Max in Yo No Creo en Los Hombres-- the BEST galan ever!
 

I dimly remember in QE that we speculated that he holding back on purpose to make him less appealing than the other would-be galan.

And he is easy on the eyes. I'll give him that for sure. :-)
 

Since I'm only watching TVA transitioning to VeA won't be a problem. Gives me an excuse to drink wine while watching.
 

Carvivlie, I still drink tequila "in honor of" Destilando Amor from nine years ago. If you need an excuse to drink wine now, think of it as preparation for Vino.
 

I am not a vino fan either...it just makes me feel sleepy and flushed. As to QE, I was a fan of CHef Hottie. I noticed that he was in Camino, but I did not watch that one . Now, I MUST correct those tests and get out my fall clothes....our hot, humid weather has suddenly turned chilly and drippy with much needed rain yesterday and today.

P.d. WHat's up with MArcelo C? Is he in any upcoming novelas ?
 

QE was the first time I saw Soto. I did not like the character but thought the actor was hawt. Julie, I agree that he did hold back and seemed rather wooden. But he did himself in when he cheated on Lorena with her bff. I don't think she (or we) ever forgave him.

Unfortunately, I didn't see Yo No, but I thought he was great in La Verdad Occulta and Un Refugio para el Amor.

I'm very enthused about Vino - I liked Ana in PyP and there are many other amazing actors including Cynthia Klitbo and Verónica Jaspeado (I was surprised Carlos wasn't with us here but maybe VJ will lure him back in)...

I saw the possible spoilers as well. Some of the cast has been posting pictures on Instagram. So we'll see what happens. We still got 3 weeks left anyways.

I was glad to see Ana Laura finally find some self confidence. She didn't have to be afraid to give herself to someone that way if it was with the man that she loves. I'm hoping her reunion with AnaLu is drama free lol.

I honestly couldn't tell if AnaLet was being sincere but obviously I'm leaning towards her NOT being sincere. She played the part very well. I don't think she'd let Marcelo go that easily or be happy about the possibility that Santiago will be victorious per se.

I won't even get started on AnaLet and Iñaki but all I know is their anvil is coming.
 

I don't think Inaki knows that Ana MeMeME put out a contract on Marcelo. That is something she would not likely admit to because she would be risking Inaki imagining himself at risk of the same thing.

It's also another crime she can be charged with.

Orlando would be looking to blackmail our two killers, not bribe.

Evaristo didn't kill SoleBad's father, but the father of Sofia (the daughter who died). He killed him for deserting SoleBad.

I'm not understanding why Facundo would be connected to Evaristo. This sounds either like a misunderstanding of avances (that I didn't see) or sloppy writing.
 

Does anybody know if Mujeres De Negros is coming to the U.S.? It's airing right now in Mexico, it's only 50 epis which means not as much commitment, but a real heavy-action, fast-moving plot. I also want to see the rest of this year's Uni lineup, so not going to commit to Vino. But here's a trailer for those of you interested it in watching Vino. Love Klitbo, but the plot feels a bit dry for me. But some folks prefer their vino like that ;) (haha sorry, I'm a glutton for pun-ishment)

Well as far as that lineup goes, SO looking forward to La Candidata, Las Hijas de Tierra Blanca, but most especially La Ronca de Orro (really hope this one comes to the U.S.)

 

Anna, Ronca de Oro has already played in the US - on Unimas, just a couple of months ago. I saw it in the listings when they were playing hide-the-Yago with us.

I'm guessing, like Yago and La Ronca, Uni will put Mujeres de Negro on Unimas because it doesn't fit the typical telenovela structure/genre.
 

Tf She wasn't sincere. If you watch her carefully when she hugged AnaLu, you could see her expression slightly change to rancor. Me & my mom read her lips at the same time, she was saying "Te odio, te odio, te odio" (I hate you, I hate you, I hate you). It's ok, my sis didn't catch it either, I think it was AnaLu's poofy hair.

Urban Thank you for correcting me! Didn't even realize I mistyped. I meant Sofia, and blackmail. It was made apparent that Erne's father died naturally and bribe would mean Oily having to give money lol.

SanMarc did tell Inaki about the hit his wife put out on him, that was what he was trying to warn Inaki about. But Inaki's already well aware of the capaz of that woman.

The avances did come in pretty fast, but from what me & my mom saw:
Fac-man is upset with Ev about something. And we see Santi opening the deposit box. We also see Sole telling Erne about AnaLu. I can't remember the rest. Actually, here I found a vid, hope this clarifies.

Part 1

Evaristo is glad to see Marcelo and his steely resolve. Ev wants to die so much he even hands over the key. Apparently Remedios's husband put whatever's in the box in there, but Marcelo won't kill Ev, he wants him to suffer like Marcelo suffered w/o memory. Ev tearfully begs Marcelo to kill him but Marcelo walks away and leaves him there (alone. In the middle of nowhere. This is how those news stories about endangered elders w/memory problems getting lost far away from home happen ya know)

Llora's crying spate is over (for now) but she wants Ramiro to stay w/her and hug her and maybe more - will she or won't she?

Bad Ana is freaking out, Inaki only slightly less so and they throw blame for the dead guy back and forth for a while. They have the excuse that he was going to rape BadAna but they're still gonna get rid of the body and clean up the evidence instead of calling the cops.


Facundo (have I ever mentioned I hate him? Well I do. Lots.) and Analu talk - ya she knows Santicelo never really loved her it was all a confusion b/c she looks like his wife, but he has a brain tumor and needs her so she won't leave him.


Looks like Llora nd Ramiro are gonna do it, but Llora is scared he won't like what he sees when the clothes come off. He says she's complete as is and urges her not to be afraid, but when she goes to change he has to take a few shaky breaths b/c he's nervous too. Llora gives herself a pep talk in the mirror and heads back into the bedroom in a very large robe. When she drops the robe in front of Ramiro, with all the lights still on, she's wearing a silky nightdress that's still more modest than most of BadAna's street clothes. Ramiro says all the right things and the lovin commences.


Inaki and BadAna dump the corpse down a ravine all the while being filmed by Orlando on his phone. Then Inaki goes back to clean up the crime scene(maybe he should take his shirt off while he cleans so he doesn't get blood on it ;P ) and BadAna puts the suitcase-o'-cash in her trunk. She looks pleased with the night's work. We skip the clean up (darn it) and go straight to next morning and BadAna having a nightmare/memory montage of the not Marcelo in the morgue and then killing Jenny and then the ugly scene w/Isidro and Inaki and wakes up to Orlando calling demanding his $$ She remembers Orlando telling her where Analu lives and dropping Inaki off there.


Llora has a much better morning, waking up in Ramiro's arms and with sweet nothings.


Inaki gets home w/a headache and finds Marcelo waiting up to yell at him for spending the night w/his wife and threatening to kill him. They fight.


Analu and TioM - He tries to convince her that Sole is a bad guy but doesn't tell her that he had Sole arrested even though Analu is worried for her not knowing where she is. he giveser hugs while swearing nothing will seperatem again and tellser he loveser and Badana arrives and gets to hear all that. She has a look on her face like her world is falling in, but TioM seeser and then Analu turns around and seeser and gets a shock. BadAna recovers first, after all she did go there to see Analu and she pretends to be happy to find her. TioM encorages Analu to go in for the hug and behind her back BadAna gets crazy eyes all while professing her love for her sister. BadAna notices Analu's bracelet is back w/its owner and shows her own, more fake nice w/a slight crazy edge.
BadAna persuades TioM to leave them alone together. He wants Analu to get her stuff and move in w/Abue but Analu isn't ready and Badana reminds him Abue has that heart thing, they'll wait till Llora gets back in town.

 

Part 2

Llora and Ramiro are in love and happy. They say the sweet things tn lovers say and stroll and hug and kiss.


Abue needser meds cause the hawt messages from her internet silver fox are making her heart pound, (Old Flame you devil you) but she doesn't want to meet in RL for fear he won't like what he sees. Leonore tries to pursuade her but her bestie takes action, stealing her phone from her and accepting the invite, now she has to go. Old Flame gets the msg and has to take a minute, looks like his heart's pounding too. For some reason he's in the hospital visiting Remedios.



Inaki tries to convince Marcelo he fell in love w/BadAna when he still thought she was a widow, yeah they fought at first but it turned into something else and he couldn't just tell him b/c it was so very complicated. Marcelo thinks Badana doesn't love Inaki but Inaki says when she's divorced she'll marry him. Marcelo tells Inaki BadAna can't love anyone, she's all messed up and she actually tried to have him, her own husband killed, so watch out. But he just signed the divorce so she and Inaki can do whatever they want he doesn't care anymore (so the threatening to kill him and beating him up was for what? kicks?) just don't hurt Analu or bothe Santi and Celo will come get'er.


Nerina brings Valentin breakfast in bed just like she did when he was little and marvels at his strenghth as he levers himself into his chair. Actually its not too much trouble to bring the food to teh room she usually eats in her room alone b/c she's so very reserved (or stuck up, either way) but lately she and the other ppl living there have become on big fam. Val wants to meet them.

Ram's dad tells Abue Valeria at the office stoled from the foundation.


Analu pacifies BadAna by saying her thing w/Santi is over for good and she won't go after him and that she knows he was always in love w/his wife and his love for her was just an illusion and she's given him up. BadAna says she does love him but she'll give him up for her little sis cause sisters before husbands. They are blood after all. More hugging more crazy eyes.
Analu shows Badana Santi's room but oops her stuff is in there too, um we weren't sleeping here together, see what happened was... Nope don't explain BadAna don't need no explanations, she just compliments Analu's taste and then wraps one of her scarfs around her neck just a few too many times and just a bit too tight. Analu starts to look uneasy. aaannd......

Will BadAna grab both ends of the scarf and yank?
Will Inaki kill again for BadAna?
Will Marcelo go get that brain operation while he's got control of the body?
Will Facundo fall down an open drain and drown in sewage?

Too bad for AnaLet - she probably thought she could get to (and dispose of) AnaLu before her family found her. Surprise! Not only did Tio Querido find her first, he is already with her and professing his undying love and will "never let you go again" with a loving embrace! Now what? I just hope she (AnaLet) doesn't go into "if I can't have you, nobody can" mode and wind up killing him!
 

And Valentin! Poor fool moved in with his mother because Clawdia told him the way to win ALaura's heart was to find her sister who lives in that "pension de quinta" - too bad, so sad for him. Not only has her family already found her, but she and Ramiro have already done the deed!

And does Tio even know that Viri broke up with him already? Wait until she finfs out HE had Sole arrested!

I wonder if Facundo was actually the one that originally introduced Ev to Marcelo? Do we know how they initially got together? Could Facundo have met Ev through Ratmundo?

I'm hoping that whatever is in that box shows the Ratmundo stole money from Nerina. Maybe the bank accounts are the same and the foundation money can be tracked to it, implicating Ratmundo again...

I think Val will find a way to tell AnaLlora about her sis before the family does. Causing a rift between her and Ram.

So far the writers have dropped the ball on the Tio/Viri breakup. I don't know why Viri is invested in Sole. She is good at what she does but she hasn't exactly been warm and fuzzy with anyone. If anything, she has acted suspiciously this whole time.

Can't wait for tonight to find out if anyone has AnaLu's back. Wish they wouldn't have left her alone with BadAna. Maybe when Abue finds out Sol is AnaLu's "MaMa" she will go to the pension to meet her and get her away from BadAna.

Wondering what Facundo (can't help but think his name sounds like a bodily function)and Ev have in common. It can't be good...and anxious to find out what is in the box Marcelo is opening.

I'm off to get my youngest granddaughter from "hiphop" dance class...Don't want to be late.

Inaki and head bashing - the dude did try to rape his gf I'm cutting him some slack on the excessive force (and also maybe b/c I dig Pedro Moreno OH! btw He was the secondary galan in Amor de Barrio (which just ended) and from that I now know he's a great dancer, and he was hilarious in Cosita Linda which was on last yr? just in case anybody wants to check him out in other things )

Evaristo - yeah he's probably getting his just deserts but its still hard to watch I especially liked Julie's take on how " Pretty much every person in Ev's sphere was missing at least one crucial piece of information because of Ev. " - tienes razon.

The sisters meeting - Well done effects, I forgot they were the same person and all that that involves in filming while I was watching. They looked so natural. And I noticed the contrast between BadAna's heels and Analu's hiking boots. Its the little things.

I had forgotten btw that Mariano conveniently forgets/neglects/avoids telling AnaLu that he has had Soledad arrested. I am no fan of Soledad but feel like AnaLu can't seem to get the full truth out of anyone without a lot of pain and suffering.

They did a good job of showing just how freaked out AnaLu was seeing someone identical to her for the first time. As AnaLet said, she's used to it, having grown up with AnaLau, but it was a totally new experience for AnaLu.

I laughed at Evaristo being left all alone in the middle of nowhere "This is how those news stories about endangered elders w/memory problems getting lost far away from home happen ya know)" Funny because he's evil but so sad. I can't help but feel a little bad for him. The way he begged Marcelo to kill him. I can't stand his character but I love the actor so that makes me feel sorry for him.

My question is will Facundo fall into a pit of flames and burn alive? I want to know why he is so desperate for Marcelo and Ana Let to stay married? I'm guessing it has to do with the secrets in the box.

Anyone else get a kick out of Solebad getting caught hiding in a closet like a little girl? I clapped when the cop wasn't fooled by Viri and Ceci. It looked like Solebad thought the cops wouldn't see her if she covered her eyes.

I agree with Vivi that the head bashing of old fool Isidro was too much. I don't really think he was going to rape AnaLet, he was forcefully trying to kiss her but he did want to marry AnaLu and he never disrespected her before. He was the most likeable character but he didn't deserve to die like that.

Inaki is out of control. He has become completely obsessed with AnaLet and way too possessive. I couldn't believe how jealous he would get watching AnaLet and Isidro at the restaurants, as if Isidro could steal AnaLet. And when did AnaLet tell Inaki she loves him? I don't understand why he believes that, he is delusional. I liked his character and agree he's complex but there's no redemption for him now.

The sisters meeting stole the show! At first I liked AnaLet's dress but then when I saw that cutout in front... just ridiculous. Anna I'm going back to watch that scene to catch AnaLet saying "te odio"! Thank you for that! I was too distracted by trying to imagine what it would feel like to find out that you are not unique, that there is another woman exactly as beautiful as you in the world. So freaky!

Yes, that yellow bit of fluff looked like an undergarment. Not that 90% of her wardrobe doesn't, but this was particularly negligee wear only.

Yes, I also sense a (hopefully brief) separation for Ram and Laura - I'm sure someone will beat him to the punch about Ana Let.

Carvivlie, yes, I also wondered about Tio and Viri. I imagine he is preoccupied elsewhere. I don't think she is going to forgive him. I hope she doesn't. She isn't my favorite, but she does have some good qualities and deserves better.

Hi Sneaky, finally got to read your recap and as usual, you did an excellent job. I am looking over all the comments here and found that there are 86! Last night's episode had me squirming when Ana LeMe had that scarf around Ana Lu's neck. I thought she would going to strangle her right there.

Just got through with Friday's episode, boy it sure is moving along quickly now. For a while, it was in a slow drag.

Yeah Fecezdo does not have many fans, not surprisingly in this TN, even his son does not like him. He was a scumbag in Pasion and Power too. Remember when he gave Daniela Montenegro the coke? And there he had the same unmade bed hairdo look and smell.

Lils, I humbly disagree amiga. It was more than just a kiss, he grabbed her and started kissing at her neck. The guy "said" he just wanted un beso, but clearly he was angling for more. I've been molested, and I don't care what anyone says about "penetration" or the lack thereof. If someone is attacking and forcing themselves on you against your will (even if it's just them trying to stick their tongue down your throat), it's an act of aggression and personal invasion. No means no. And even without verbal warning, body language and an attempt at thwarting advances, are clear signs. The fear on AnaLet's face said it all. No he didn't deserve to die like that, but I'm glad she had someone to protect her, b/c I sure didn't.

On a lighter note, the new epi was fantastic. I'm itching to hear what everyone thought!
