Caray, Caray!

Crisanta offers Amalia a job. Amalia is not too sure because if Imelda even saw her talking to Crisanta,  she would kill her.  Crisanta could pay her a lot more and even give her an advance to insure her offer.  When Amalia hears about more money, she becomes  "drunk" with the idea.  She could really use more money.  Crisanta wants Amalia to provide  information about Imelda and her past with Canuto. Imelda fans herself with the  peso bills. That might be too personal for Amalia to tell. Crisanta is willing to pay extra for the truth. Amalia tells the truth: Imelda made up a story and told the whole family that Canuto had died. She even put up a false tombstone.  Crisanta is shocked.  Amalia won't say anymore but quickly changes her mind with more money.   Imelda did it because Canuto had cheated on her with Crisanta. Crisanta pays for each tidbit of information.  Because he cheated, Imelda buried him but then he returned to Oaxaca to really die. Crisanta gives her all the money she has.


Julieta sadly looks at the drawing of Dave's family complete with his birth parents and scratches her neck  Catalina is so happy she got the position.  Julieta's reaction is more measured because it is about her job and she knows how they always end up arguing about everything.  Catalina tells her she needed a job to move out of Julieta's house.    Catalina assures her at work their relationship will be purely professional. Julieta  will remember her when she is dead and buried. Julieta tries to explain that she is at the end of her rope and feels like her world is crashing in on her.

Julieta is a nervous wreck and goes to see Susana. She asks to take a leave of absence. Julieta just cannot deal with anything more. There have been too many problems in too short of a time.  Susana  understands that it happens to everyone but  there is too much unfinished business and there will be even more. Julieta cannot leave and that is an order from her boss. Julieta is scratching  her neck.  Susana knows how Julieta feels. Julieta asks if she has ever felt like just leaving and running  away.   Susana says she sure has felt like that but as women they cannot.  Society always calls women  the weaker sex and criticizes them for being so emotional. Julieta spoke about empowering women.  Susana wants her strong like that now.  Julieta just cries. Susana reminds her that it is a crucial time for the company.  Julieta asks for just a short time off to get her home life under control. Susana acknowledges that Julieta was the first to to offer her all the time she needed  when her father died but Susana cannot do the same.  The company needs her and Susana needs her. That gets Julieta's attention.  Susana says yes! she needs her because she has always been the head of the team and independent. Susana cannot do it on her own.  She tells Julieta to follow her own advice and  "to get organized" because she is not going anywhere. Julieta says that is not easy and now Susana has just increased the stress with hiring Catalina.  Susana says that Catalina is HER assistant and not Julieta's. Julieta doesn't want her to cause her problems between them. Susana tells her not to worry. She will be training Catalina for a couple of days and she is giving Julieta the same amount of time to get her life together and calm down. She offers Julieta a lollipop.  Susana says women have to remember to help each other and that is why her mother is there. Her mother and Julieta are BOTH staying. Julieta thanks Susana for her "understanding." Susana says she's welcome.

Daniela and Linda help Eugenio create a new "look" by dying his hair.  Daniela says he is the most handsome father in Oaxaca. Eugenio did it to impress Blanca and wonders if she will like it.  Eugenio thinks he looks like he has a wig and is suddenly self-conscious. He asks Daniela what that "Reality de Amor" was about.  She really doesn't know but she thinks it is a contest for couples but she didn't apply. Linda wonders if it was Gabriel.  Gabriel talks to Clarisa and asks the same question. Whoever did the application must want to help them.  Clarisa says it wasn't his sisters.  Clarisa wonders if it was Daniela. She stops Gabriel from texting Daniela to ask.

Robert explains to Tulio how Dave wants to meet his dad but obviously he wants to investigate him before hand.  Robert has no idea what crime he was convicted of but it must have been when Dave was a baby.  His name is Fernando Zaragoza.  Tulio says if he was jailed here in Oaxaca there will not be a problem. Robert brings up Tulio's drinking. Tulio wants to know if he is suggesting that he is an alcoholic. No, sir! Robert just has noticed that he seems to be drinking more and more and alcohol can be dangerous. Tulio is a grown man and will not be lectured. He will find out about Fernando Zaragoza ASAP.

Crisanta calls Pancho to ask about Canuto's ashes.  He pretends there is too much interference as he is driving in La Burra to hear what she is saying.

Lupita talks more with Ari about his secret. Julio is upset because he feels left out. Maybe they can have a new secret for just the three of them.  Temo wants to celebrate Ari's school olympic win. Ari is okay with that.

At Blanca's, Robert tells her about wanting to find Dave's dad.  Blanca warns him that that is not a good idea and could be very dangerous. Robert just wants to be ready for what is to come. Linda suddenly tells them all to close their eyes because Eugenio has a surprise.  When they open their eyes, they see his dyed hair . Linda explains that he wanted to look younger to be more attractive to Blanca.  Blanca smiles. There is silence. Eugenio asks for opinions. Dave says he looks funny which doesn't go over well. Blanca says he looks interesting.  Robert lies through his teeth and says he has less white hair than he does. Eugenio is so pleased. He wants to look young for his beautiful Blanca. Blanca says the fact that he did it for her makes her feel very special.  She will love him no matter how white his hair gets. Linda gets an interesting text from Axel. She asks him how dare he send her something like that. He says he just wanted to show her what she was missing out on.

Gabriel comes to see Julieta. He wants some advice. He asks how she is doing. She admits to having problems in all areas of her life.  The perfect couple does not exist.  She explains the problem isn't between her and Robert but with everything else that keeps bombarding them and now there is an important matter that they have opposite opinions on. She just  scratches her neck. Julieta and Gabriel  move on to yoga poses to help calm them.  How is Gabriel doing?  He is almost sure that Daniela sent in an application for them  in a contest called "Reality de Amor".  That must mean that she wants their marriage to work. Julieta says they got to end up together. Julieta admits that even though she strives not to be a busybody . . . it  was she who sent in the application.  He and Daniela can decide if they are going to actually do it.

Pancho visits Susana at work and tells her about the ashes' mishap. He apologizes. They are both worried about how her mother will take it.  As far as Susana is concerned, her dad is no longer there but he is in so many other places all around them and in her soul. Pancho adds he is in  her children's smiles and in her pretty eyes. He grabs he hand.  He has an idea of how take care of the ashes and make her father even more present.

Crisanta is at her lawyer and tells him she wants Canuto's grave opened immediately. Nobody is going to tell her what to do.  He asks if she wants her husband exhumed. She wants to know who is in the tomb because she has her husband's remains and Canuto's death certificate. Can he open the grave or not?

Imelda sees Eugenio and ends up saying his hair is "precious."  She informs her family that she wants them all to come to her fashion show. By allowing Crisanta in her fashion show she will be able to take all of Canuto's ashes home.  She is all excited. Julieta is still scratching her neck.

The fashion show turns out to be a very elegant event.  Everyone is there.  Gabriel has come to to see Daniela. Tulio tells Robert he knows what jail Fernando is in.  Imelda welcomes everyone to her show which represents the Oaxacan tradition.  There will also be a break in he show with some bikinis, etc. Crisanta grabs the microphone out of the hand and gets right to the point. Imelda is a big fake and capable of lying to them all. She made up a story about her husband being dead and then actually bought a fake tomb just so she could get all of Crisanta's property. Imelda grabs the microphone back to defend herself.  They should not believe the gossip and slander.  Crisanta insists it is the truth.    Her lawyer has corroborated all of the facts and the tomb is in effect empty.  They should not be supporting a criminal. Amalia is shocked at what she is hearing. Imelda and Crisanta and Imelda fight over the microphone. Robert and Axel try to break them apart. Robert wants to know why Crisanta is trying to destroy his grandmother.  Imelda says that Crisanta is trying to take it all from her. Greed has blinded her. Crisanta says it is not a case of greed.  When her lawyers are done, everything of Imelda's will belong to her.  She will feel the fury of the four . . . no seven seas! Dave talks to Sebas about his bio-dad. He is upset he is in jail. Why could he not be a good guy like a fire fighter?  Amalia implores the public not to go.  The fashion show is about to begin. The public applauds.  Tulio tells Imelda she better be careful that Crisanta doesn't get her a jail sentence.  Linda gets dressed for her runway debut and Amalia steps on and tears the train of her dress.  Gabriel knows how to fix it and does. He does have two sisters. Daniela thanks him for saving the day with a smile.  The audience loves Imelda's fashions.

Polita and Pancho have stayed behind to keep the bakery open.  Audifaz stops by to tell Polita that the baby  is asleep and starts to rush off . She asks why he didn't go to his mother's fashion show. He has more "transcendental" things to do. Polita asks what they are and why he doesn't want to tell her. Why is he so mysterious?  Audi talks a bunch of nonsense and leaves. Pancho agrees that Audi is acting very suspiciously.  She is afraid he is cheating.  She gets Pancho to go and follow him in La Burra. He sees Audifaz meet a woman. He kisses her on both cheeks and then talks to her. Pancho thinks he looks like he is cheating.  Poor Polita. He comes back to the bakery and lies to Polita. He  says he lost Audifaz while following him. Polita says next time he has to do better.

Robert has news for Julieta. He told her he had Tulio look into Dave's dad. and find out what prison he was in. She asks why???  They have so many problems already so why would they want to get involved in one more????  Robert says he wanted to look into Fernando since he is Dave's bio-dad. He wants her to accompany him and go and meet Fernando.  Julieta is called away by her digital assistant and says she will think about it.

Gabriel tells Daniela that Julieta completed the application for them. Gabriela asks her to give it a ry. Maybe it could help their situation. Daniela refuses because their problems are private. Later, Daniela asks Julieta why she sent in an application for her and Gabriel. Julieta says she only wants to help them but they have the final word. It is a contest to discover love and it would be time  away in Mexico City. They would be shut away with other couples and would need to overcome certain challenges that would help build their relationship. Daniela does not like the sound of that with everybody watching. She is not doing it.

Axel tries to talk to Linda right before she has to walk the runway. She wants him to leave so she has no problems with her family. He says a lot of other women would love to be in her place now that she knows what she is missing. She cannot believe him. She never asked him to text that photo. He says she isn't saying that she didn't like it and is left smirking all by his lonesome when she returns to the runway.

Blanca asks Amalia who told the truth about Canuto to Crisanta.  Amalia admits it and apologizes. Blanca asks how she  could betray Imelda and the whole family.  Amalia  says she sold herself like Judas and continues to apologize. Blanca shakes her head.

Later, Pancho gets everyone out in the hall at the apartment building to talk about the accident that befell Canuto's ashes and how now they are mixed with dirt.   They all get upset.  No worries, Pancho has the ashes and the dirt. He thinks that he has the best solution for them all.  He has a tree!

Ari and Temo talk.Temo tells him how his whole life has changed since he has moved to Oaxaca. He has become braver and  not afraid to show who he is. The most important thing is that he met Ari. He gave him hope. He can't pretend anymore. He tells Ari he loves him.
