Steve, your bloodthirsty comments are becoming offensive.
The main event in Monday's episode was Angel finally caving to the cash and trying to avoid Helena's calls because he is now obligated to break up with her.
The next most important thing was the dinner at Aurora's where JC is finally seeing what's in the works between his painfully naive son and the evil Jezabel.

OT, urban, I'm sorry I can't help. This is a show I stopped watching during our power outage. It never really grabbed my attention so it was an easy one to sacrifice. I do read some comments at times so I have a general idea of the plot and it still hasn't made me want to watch it.

I stick with this series because of the cast although I think that JS got shortchanged here.

The only cast I was familiar with was the 2 guys that were in mi marido Tiene Familia. Pinto? was obnoxious in it and I never liked him but seeing Demon in a bad guy role when I loved him in the other show made it hard for me to enjoy. Did they ever explain Jezebel's glove wearing?

That has yet to be explained, but this might have 126 episodes so we're not even at the hump yet. I am beginning to think she did something to it deliberately to gain sympathy.

El Angel de Aurora #49
Part 1 of 3 (Quick and Dirty Version)
Demon went to see Helena to tell her that Angel was freed. She was grateful for his help. He said he did it for her. Briana eavesdropped as Demon asked Helena if she needed anything.
The barrio had a surprise party for Rolando's successful surgery. El Morro looked in as Maggie looked afraid.
Briana came out of hiding and asked why Demon didn't tell Helena the truth.
Fabrizio and Patricia talked about Edgar.
Demon lied his way out of this. Helena said that her wound wasn't serious [It certainly didn't look serious based on how neatly it was stitched up]. She reminded Briana that she was invading her relationship with Angel, then started leaving the room.
Maggie tried to get El Morro to leave. He admitted that Pintas almost killed him and that Vampi was after him.
Aurora and Jezabel disagreed on business and Aurora finally asked her why she didn't admit having the hots for Antonio. Jezabel said it was because “you stole our parents' love from me.” She admitted hating her for it. Aurora denied this and that she stole Demon's love.
JC and Antonio talked about Jimenez and the possible fraud. They had trusted him and now were in $ trouble.
Jezabel accused Aurora of obsession and neglecting their relationship as she was being a substitute mother to Demon. Aurora denied hating Jezabel, saying that if she had not turned her back on her their father would not have taken Gabriel away from her.
Antonio and JC came to a conclusion about the business matter but the investigation of Gabriel's disappearance is still an issue between them.
Jezabel insisted there was nothing bad between them, then walked out before repeating her pathological lies to herself about their parents.

Aurora introduced JC as her future husband, then Helena, whom Demon kissed on camera. She got up and followed Antonio out, knowing how he felt. They talked about Angel and she told him it was over with him because he had not taken her calls.

I’m sorry Urban, I told myself I could write a quick summary before I watched the show and then completely forgot. I guess because I watch it right before Juana and take notes for Juana. Just started reading and saw Kat’s comment. Who was Demon in Mi Marido Tiene Familia. Can’t believe he played a good guy. I haven’t watched today’s show yet so I’ll finish reading and comment later.

Liz, I didn't watch that one. I don't much care for comedy novelas. He played Gabriel Musi. He was also in Pasion y Poder and the shortened version of Cuna de Lobos.

Angel/Aurora Liz, Demon was Gabriel, Dani's husband, father of the triplets. Son of a wealthy man and in the first season he ran his father's restaurant. Ring any bells. He was killed off in the second season unfortunately. I never have finished mas Familia. It was not as good as season 1 IMO.

I watched Passion y Poder , but I don't remember Demon in it. I guess that I was mostly watching FC.
I think that beaten up Morrow is going to turn against despicable Pintas and re form. He seems to care about his son , so he might die saving him from Pintas. Rolando hugging him gave mere sniffles.

Thanks Kat and Urban, I do remember him. It was a long time ago when I watched it but I liked it. I like the “lighter” telenovelas
Urban, thanks for your quick and dirty recap. I just watched it and seems like you got everything that happened. I hope Aurora doesn’t decide to help Demon get Helena back. I felt sorry for Angel when he saw Demon kiss Helena. But Demon’s used that tactic before, he needs to come up with something new. Although he’ll probably doctor the recording to look like Angel took money to give up Helena.
It’s strange that Patricia and Fabrizio are also recognizing Pintas. If we’re not even halfway through they can’t figure out to much yet.

Angel/Aurora. Thank you so much for your excellent recap, Urban! I went to a luncheon yesterday and missed this episode. Now I don't have to watch it online, though I must say that is sounds like a good episode and worth watching. I suspected that something would break up Helena and Angel, and of course it was Demian being his creepy, hypocritical and manipulating self.

I am also predicting that Helena is pregnant, which will make Demon and Jezabel go on the warpath. Here is hoping that Antonio and Aurora can protect her.
