#46 part 1

Back in the hay barn Aitana never imagined it could be so wonderful. Luciano I couldn't stop thinking about you since that first kiss. Ditto for Aitana. Luciano is ready to pledge unending love but Aitana says for her it can't be. Why. Because of the past. He thinks she means Bruno and Zac, which she goes with. He says same here with Larisa. It could work for us, it's up to you he says.

Mica and Eloisa have no clue where Aitana disappeared to amidst thunder in the background. Luciano is missing too, he was with the horses and he was really upset. Maybe she looked for him and they are holed up somewhere because of the storm.

More back and forth between Luciano and Aitana.. he thinks he loves her. He thinks she is torn between him and Zac, who is a good guy and thinks she is resisting because she works for the family

Larisa begs dad to tell Lucy that she knew nothing about the fraud. He says if he doesn't believe you he certainly won't believe me. You destroyed the computer right. She runs to her room . Oops.

Luciano hasn't felt love for Larisa for quite a while now. Besides he can't live a liar. Aitana looks concerned at this remark. He's going to move back to the ranch and retake the directorship as his mom wants. That makes her happy. He'll be near her.

Larisa brings the computer to her telecall. Armando says you should have destroyed the archives. You've been hacked. Larisa figures it had to be Iñigo. Dad offers her a place with him. She can't leave the country and she doesn't want to lose the love of her life

Aitana is confused... Luciano reassures her. Between us there isn't deceit like with Larisa. (Keep turning the knife L)

Mateo goes to his outbuilding office. Ximena is there. She keeps thinking about him. Tell me what's wrong. He looks down at his desk.

Aitana tells Luciano he doesn't know her or her past. Well we can get to know each other day by day. He calls mom to tell him he fell from the horse. Aitana is with him. When the horses return (I still say that's not how it works) and the storm let's up they will return. Eloisa offers to send Juventino, but Luciano says it's not needed.

Mateo tells Ximena she needs to stay away from at the hacienda, her godmother is against them. She needs to talk and meet him at his apartment where no one will interrupt them.

Luciano is confused as to who is helping him. Aitana keeps quiet about what she was involved with, but then learns someone put a USB on his windshield with the financial info. Aitana didn't know about that so this draws a reaction from her.

Ximena says ok I'll go to your apartment. Mateo looks up at that. Are you sure. I'm scared she says but with you I'm willing to take a chance. He gets up and kisses her. She'll meet with him there on her day off and they can spend the whole day together.

#46 part 2

Mateo tells Ximena he loves her as they embrace. Ximena recalls Zac saying if he really loves her he would share it with the family.. you really care for me? Yes he says. When will you tell your mom about us? Later. Thinks need to settle after the Iñigo fiasco. But we are happy and in love, that is good news. He's not sure how mom will react. But you can lay the ground work, right. He gets angry with her. I know my family better than you. We'll do it my way .she nods at this. He gets huffy with her as she tries to explain, then storms off. Ximena is mad at Zac for putting ideas in her head.

Back in the barn the lovers dress. (I'm happy to see Aitana took my advice and is now using a saddle blanket to wear as a shawl.) Aitana wants this to be their secret. He agrees, but only for a little while. She agrees. As soon as possible. Time to go.

Rolando and Belinda text about the bombshell she dropped on dad.

Nuria has a job interview as an event planner. Ceci is back, not sure if it's just a visit. She has a chance to sell stuff at some store. (She's wearing a lot of jewelry, maybe she makes that). Some more talk about Iñigo, does he know about the interview. She asks something else which makes Nuria uncomfortable.

Iñigo is back and Mom tells him she's in charge. He claims someone impersonated his voice. I'm not a fool she tells him. Iñigo says the astral group only want to work with him, it's in their contract. Eloisa calls his bluff, then we won't sign. Iñigo says then the ranch is finished. Eloisa says if so it's your fault. She coughs during this altercation.

The lovers return on their horses, so I guess they came back to that out barn. Zac sees them. Luciano is limping so he helps him. They talk about how he fell and Aitana used her shirt to clean his wounds. Anything else happen Zac asks. Both deny it but look guilty.

Larisa talks with her lawyer about the hearing in the morning. He recommends Luciano go with her. She mentions so nothing about the financial records. Lawyer seems to think it won't adversely affect the ruling. At least that's what I assume as she has a small smile when he tells her that.

Luciano sits in the salon as mom asks what happened etc. he needs a bath to clean his wounds. Aitana will check on him after.

Karime talks to the Dr. He has a surgical patient that will need in home care. Usually ge doesn't recommend nurses he doesn't know but Aitana gave her a glowing recommendation. She meets the patient tomorrow and starts the next day.

Eloisa asks why did Luciano go off on hire a. I broke up with Larisa and was in a bad mood so Aitana followed me...he doesn't want to discuss it now, but he and Belinda are moving back. She's happy to hear that. However they broke up, thank God. Also the trial is tomorrow, right. Hopefully she'll lose, she says

Zac followed Aitana out of the salon (before the discussion about Larisa between Luciano and mom). As they descend the stairs Zac asks are you sure nothing happened between you two. She denies it and tells him remember we aren't really novios. You are acting jealous. He reminds her Luciano is the brother of her violaters and the murderer of her father, don't forget it.

Luciano is sitting in his bed still in his blood stained shirt. Aitana goes to her room. Both smile as they recall their lovemaking.

Ceci tracks Gael down at the stables. She has 2 things to discuss. Does he know of anywhere she can rent a room. Iñigo is back so she can't stay with her sister. Also some store wants to sell her stuff, but it's actually their stuff as they were working on it together. (Who remembers what they are selling? I recall them working at the dining room table at Nuria's earlier, but not sure what they were working on).

Luciano showered. Bruno knocks. Mom told him what happened. He brought him a change of clothes. Bruno asks how he is. Hurt leg, cut head, but ok. Bruno thinks he looks good. (He has a smile on his face) It's because I'm moving back home.

Aitana returns Larisa's 20 message with a call. I was busy with Eloisa . I did my part of the deal. We are done now.

Luciano asks how Bruno is doing. Aitana is hard to forget but we are better. I'm working on El Negro which keeps me busy. Luciano tells him to be careful, he's very dangerous. Larisa is blowing up Luciano's phone with messages also. Bruno tells him to terminate things ( some advice he learned at rehab). Luciano leaves her a voicemail. I'll be by to get my things. Quit brother me, we are through.

Aitana goes to Luciano to tend to his wounds. His thigh has a nasty bruise, that Bruno is shocked to see.

Nuria arrives somewhere for her interview. She gets the job, low pay for now but with the 10 year gap it's the best they can offer. She's happy to accept. After demonstrating her capabilities perhaps they can renegotiate the salary.

Iñigo is in an upscale club. Larisa tracks him down accusing him if giving Luciano the information. He has no clue what she is talking about.

Nuria's new boss, Porforio (or something like that) is talking to Juanjo. He offered her the job and is impressed with her. Juanjo is glad. ( He pulled strings for her.)

Larisa and Iñigo argue some more. She doesn't know how he did it, but obviously he did. Then she mentions Nuria and him moving back home which gets him angry. I missed why so if someone can clear this up it would be appreciated.

Belinda, with her bodyguard, find Gael. He tells her I broke up with Ceci, but we have a business together and I don't know what to do about it.

Out in the countryside Karime and Aitana walk. Yay for the job. Yay for Luciano. She tells her about how great it was with him. Karime says I told you love would cure all.

Belinda asks who broke up with whom. Gael says, me, obviously. She advises it would be best to terminate the business together then. But Gael has money invested in it. Not sure what he plans to do.

I am smiling away that Belinda is flying completely under the radar and that Larisa has absolutely no idea she is responsible for hacking her computer; at least for now. Love that Larisa is blaming Wormtongue, err, I mean Iñigo, still crawling around on his loathsome belly.

Does anyone really think Larisa is going to give up on Luciano? I don't think this stalker is done by any means.

"He gets huffy with her as she tries to explain, then storms off. Ximena is mad at Zac for putting ideas in her head". Really Ximena? Zac rightly told you if Mateo really cares for you he will tell his family they are together. Of course Mateo has no such intention, despite his obsession for her.

I don't know what business venture Ceci and Gael share. I'm glad Gael broke up with her, they are so mismatched.

Juanjo is a gem, still looking out for Nuria behind the scenes.

Aitana and Luciano are clearly besotted with each other; Zac immediately knew something happened and I predict their feelings will be obvious to the entire household once Luciano returns to the house.

Zac is getting on my last nerve with his constant hovering around Aitana. He needs to get it through his head already that she has no feelings for him. How annoying!

Part 1 of 2

Last night I decided to just watch the show for a change and write what I remember today. It was a good episode for that way of doing it.

*Aitana and Luciano continue to flirt surreptitiously in gardens and hallways so we know they will be discovered at some point, but so far so good.

*Gael gets similar counsel to Belinda on his business enterprise with Ceci from his mother, but she also says it's your decision. He decides he doesn't want to lose his investment so they will be business partners only, none of that friends with benefits he assures Ceci when he tells her his decision.

The budding romance between Karime (CC's actually used Karen so now I'm wondering what her name actually is) and Zac continues on its trajectory. Zac was all set to drink his sorrows away because he knows something is going on with Aitana and Luciano. Karime talks him out of it, probably dumps the tequila down the drain when she took it from him, and they go out to eat at a local restaurant. Her choice was super spicy in her opinion which means drinks of some beverage on the table and Zac pouring salt in her hand to put on the tip of her tongue. Not sure it was effective but it made for a change of pace of his mooning about Aitana.

Belinda tells dad she, with the help of Rolando and Mireya, the bodyguard, will get their stuff back from Larisa's place since he's banged up from his tumble from the horse . She gets into it with Larisa and likely drops enough tidbits of information that Larisa will realize she was the one to hack her laptop.

Bruno meets with Katy in the hotel again, misses up the bed to make it look like they had some action, but just talks to her to get info about El negro. Katy hopes he can also help the other girls trapped in the sex ring. He says he will, the mayor is a friend and he trusts him. Katy warns him political people are involved in abusing the girls but he doesn't believe the mayor is one of them ..uh oh.

And we see the Mayor with Rolando in a scene. Rolando drops the news that Belinda is adopted and isn't a Lizarrága by blood. Dad tells him then he wants Rolando to break up with her. Rolando refuses. After he leaves Tomas, the mayor, calls Negro to say Belinda is no longer untouchable to Negro's delight.

Juventino and Clem continue to fight about his big screen TV.

Nuria gets ready for work and of course macho man Iñigo forbids it. She tells him they are not a couple, not getting back together, the guest room has fresh sheets etc so he needs to use it and having a job is important to her as she needs independence. Being beholden to him for every penny is not how she wants to live. (Too bad she didn't kick him out when he said he would support her as he seemed to claim he moved in with her because he lost his job and income.). And the icing on the cake, you seduced me, I wasn't a willing participant to our lovemaking the other night.

Wasn't sure I could fit it all in one comment so here's the rest

We were spared much of Mateo last night. Ximena was sitting in her bed when a knock came on her door. Her eyes lit up, but she was also spared of his physical presence. It was Micaela, probably just checking in on her to make sure she was alone. It was a short scene re emphasizing their frosty relationship now. We do see Mateo at his dark room developing photos of Ximena (along with photos of that woman in the newspaper article).

And to the sunroof nobody on the patio, the likelihood that Belinda is Aitana's daughter is revealed. Aitana was helping Belinda unpack and they discuss if their had been any hits on the adoption DNA site. As Belinda munches compulsively on chips she sadly says no, then goes to purge so if course Aitana bears this and calls her out on it. Belinda blames it on not knowing her biological mother and roots. Maybe she's dead. She was in a coma when I was brought to the orphanage, maybe she died. Ding, ding ding! Aitana asks her birthdate, March 24th, I'll be 18. I was sent to the orphanage 15 days after I was born because mom was in a coma and there was no family to take me in.

After Aitana leaves her she frantically calls her mother. When was I sent to the orphanage. Mom isn't sure it was so long ago. Aitana says you are there, find out for me. I think Belinda is my daughter!

Later that night she watches Belinda sleep. I thought maybe she would get a strand of her hair to test her DNA, but she merely caresses her forehead and dreams that she has found her baby.she leaves and runs into Luciano the hallway. He asks why she was in there and she improvises that she left her cellphone and went to retrieve it. There is a lot of flirting and kissing going on here, with a suggestion she join him in his room. She declines saying his mom is a light sleeper. At least she shows some wisdom in that refusal. The missing is going to be discovered though!

I think that was most of it. I really prefer typing the recaps this way as the short scenes and jumping from character to character in the blow by blow recap is less rewarding. Feel free to add or embellish what I forgot

I should have proofread this. Lots of mistakes. *Sunroof* was an autocorrect of *surprise of*. (I'm not losing my mind, I assure you, though I do find I search for words more than I used to. I'm blaming it on trying to learn Spanish and now French. The new vocabulary is pushing out my English vocab to make room!). Also Aitana asked her mother when her daughter was sent to the orphanage, not herself obviously. And it should be the kissing (not missing) will be discovered in the scene with Luciano outside Belinda's room.

I watched the late edition but feel asleep so I missed most of what you captured so well.

Yes, Belinda should have kept quiet relishing in the victory of having Larisa ousted from her family. While I don't blame her for ranting on and on, I agree that Larisa will correctly deduce she is the culprit.

The slow dawning that Belinda is her daughter was exquisitely done by Susana. I found the scene very touching and must admit I teared up a bit.

I like Karime who is the real deal, no pretense, a true and loyal friend and altogether good person.

I'm happy I missed "Tomas, the mayor, calls Negro to say Belinda is no longer untouchable to Negro's delight" and dreading what happens next.

Kat, thank you for your dedication to bringing these episodes to life.

Diana, yes it was touching as Aitana slowly came to realize that Belinda could be her daughter. How long until she gets a DNA test done to be sure?

I sort of got a kick out of Aitana reading a romance novel to a nearly napping Eloísa and Luciano walking in.

Looks like poor Katy could be long gone before long due to Bruno’s ignorance of the real situation. Then there is Belinda who has been labeled as fair game for the traffickers. Not good.

Sorry, but being “seduced” was no excuse for Nuria to have sex with Iñigo. Being stupid is a better excuse. Unbelievable!
