Belinda and Rolando are having a picnic in the woods. I love yous are said and Belinda initiates going all the way. Rolando afterwards is surprised it was her first time. Had he known he would have made it more me (than a romp in the woods). Belinda assures him it was special for her.

Zac tells Aitana that Ximena told him that she loves Mateo. They decide the only way the relationship can be severed is by Eloisa. Aitana will try to have her discover Mateo and Ximena together.

Luciano tries to find out from Eloisa what was in the letter from his dad. She says he'll learn about it after she's dead.

Iñigo is chatting with his daughters online. They want to chat with other people too, but Iñigo, to his credit, says they can only use it with him (how will he monitor this I wonder). He pumps them for information about their mom. She's sad, stays in her room. They don't know why. Iñigo says it's because she broke up with her novio. They are ecstatic. He says don't tell her I told you.

Now Iñigo is in the room with the bar. He has some papers in his hand and a paper knife. He sits down as Aitana comes in. Mica told me you wanted me. He says I have a terrible crick in my neck. Massage it. She says take an antiinflammatory pill. I'm not a professional masseuse. She gives him other advice on how to relieve the stress but he wants a massage, she gives them to his mom so he knows she can do them. He's taken off his vest and unbuttoned a few buttons on his shirt. Are you going to give me a massage, yes or know he asks in a threatening way.

El negro brings Bruno to a hotel to sample his merchandise. Katy, the girl comes out of the bathroom scared to death and asks how can she serve him.. Bruno asks how old she is. 24. He asks her to sit on the bed and he does the same and backs further away when she flinches. He tells her he wants to know about her and he won't hurt her. You may not but he will she so s. Bruno checks the door then locks it.

Iñigo is willing to pay extra since it's not in her job description. She says she was tired but steals herself to give him the neck massage he demanded. She gets a bit rough with the massage and he jumps up demanding what is she doing. Something about helping him relieve tension. He advances towards her in a threatening way. She sits on the couch and grabs the letter opener and brandishes it like a knife which stops him.

Karime has cooked dinner. Zac arrives home and tells her she shouldn't have, he eats at the main house. But it smells good. Karime talked with Eloisa's Dr about a job it seems. She's ready for a change and this is a nice place.

Inigo puts his hands up. You just pushed too hard, nothing more. Aitana says I told you I'm not a masseuse. Iñigo says truth be told I enjoyed your hands on my skin Aitana excuses herself and runs off.

#44 part 2

Zac tells Karime that he wanted to see the world when he was younger, but now he's here. Karime says well you have your parents and brother, and now Aitana here. He tells her she knows full well that Aitana doesn't love him anymore and will leave (after her brand of justice is served). The two are getting along great and if she's staying...Zac will get this girl I bet.

Aitana returns to her room in a tizzy. She calls him disgusting as she washes the feel of his skin from her hands.

Belinda and Rolando are sending amorous texts to each other. They each smile as they relive their lovemaking in their minds.

Larisa comes to bed. Luciano shuts his laptop and turns the other way. I'm dead tired. No action for her tonight. Luciano relives the tomatoes to the chest scene with Aitana. Aitana is having the same daydream.

Bruno and Aitana meet in the vestibule or whatever the bottom of the stairs would be called, and he gives her the cold shoulder. She calls him out on it. Grow up. I don't feel the same way for you and you can't force it. I'm too old, different clas, your mother would hate it. He mentions something about Zac and Aitana and Aitana asks who gave you that false info. Perhaps a person who lives in an apartment in town (I could use help if I got this part wrong). Aitana says we don't have to be friends but at least be cordial. Bruno seems to think she has a point.

Belinda tells her friend how wonderful it was with Rolando.

Bruno tells Luciano about poor Katy. And when he thinks that could have been Belinda. Luciano shudders. Luciano tells him you can't do anything without proof. Luciano is going to arrange a meeting with the mayor to discuss the situation (uh oh for Bruno).

Larisa sends something to someone on her phone. Bruno and Eloisa were mentioned in her mutterings.

Ah she sent her dad's message to Bruno. It is sent anonymously. Bruno drops the phone after listening to it (at the breakfast table with most everyone present). Inigo is one of the voices and he knew about the theft that Amador was about to pull off. Eloisa demands to know what is this about. I have no doubt that is your voice

Gael says you got a huge package dad, sign here. It's a high definition TV. Clem is mad he spent his money that way. Juventino days he bought it on an installment plan. He has a year to pay

Iñigo is claiming it's not his voice. Ai can falsify anything now (I was thinking the same). Eloisa isn't buying it. Luciano tells him to quit lying, he is friends with Vicente, the journalist. Eloisa is now mad that Luciano didn't tell her. He says I didn't have proof yet. Bruno says, well here's the proof as he picks up his phone. Eloisa is breathing heavy. Luciano says this is why I didn't want to tell you, for your health. Eloisa kicks Iñigo out of her house and life. The brothers glare at Iñigo as Aitana has a small smirk on her face (2 down). Iñigo says I have to be here for the astral contract. Nobody trusts him.(Not sure what they all said about this business contract, perhaps Luciano initiated it originally, help!). Eloisa yells get out. Mateo takes Iñigo's side. This could screw up the contract and we can't afford to lose it. Luciano sees his point. Iñigo says if he's thrown out he's getting it all out on social media and with the press.

Gael helps dad with the new TV. It looks much heavier than the high def tvs available now. ( The way they both held their aching back I would think it was one like my 20 plus LCD TV! ). Juventino wants him to help set it up with the Internet. Gael tells him to read the directions.more business talk! Iñigo will close the deal and then he's out. Eloisa says Luciano you're in charge again(Aitana grins). Duplicate copies of paperwork are mentioned and that confused me.

The kitchen staff are trying to figure out what's going on. Ximena suggests I can bring in the fruit and try to find out. Mica tells her if you hear anything you keep quiet about it, we don't gossip. Clem agrees gossiping is wrong .

Iñigo isn't going to go along with whatever they suggested that I didn't understand. Mom says you will. You are being written out of the will (uh oh, has she signed her death warrant).

Mica and Ximena are arguing in the kitchen. Clem wants to know what's going on between the two of them. They say none of your business. Clem says it is my business when you are fighting like cats and dogs.

Iñigo threatens to kill the business contract. Eloisa says if you do your going to jail for abuse of trust, fraud and conspiracy.

Ximena has left the kith for some fresh air in her herb garden or orchard. Zac asks where she is going to see Mateo? When is he going to tell the family you are a couple? ( Planting some seeds if doubt about Mateo hopefully).

Eloisa is getting very agitated. She is going to attend the meeting with the Astral company. Inigo continues to insist he's in charge and won't be involved in any farce. Eloisa says I'm not playing around. Do as you're told or you are out of the family.

Iñigo calls Nuria. He needs a place to stay for a few days. If he's out of the family then he has no money, no way to support her and the girls. He'll have to sell her house ...

Thank you, Kat. Looks like it was an exciting episode. I saw as far as Aitana giving Iñigo the massage he was never going to forget as I was hoping she would do. Nothing better than seeing him jump up in pain.After that, Univision weather took over because of storms and tornadoes, then the internet went out and that was that!

Jarifa, hopefully you'll get your Internet back soon. We desperately need rain. I gave a pretty detailed recap so if you miss the rest of it you're probably ok. My biggest confusion was in the family "business" meeting around the dining room table. Eloisa isn't looking great and the stress was definitely getting to her. I think Aitana actually likes her, but it could just be the game she is playing.

Kat, this was an on the edge of your seat episode and you did an awesome job of capturing the actions and emotions that ran rampant throughout.

Loved Iñigo having a very, very bad day. From the (well deserved) rough massage to having his machinations being revealed and threatened with being ousted from the family, all was very satisfying. "She calls him disgusting as she washes the feel of his skin from her hands" was perfect. For a quick second, Aitana looked at that knife with longing (wouldn't have blamed her a bit had she plunged it in his neck) but her revenge (painful as you noted Jarifa) was quite fitting. Now he crawls back to Nuria.Blech.

Under the teased hair and heavy makeup that poor girl Bruno met with is likely no older than 16. 24 , my foot!

I was a little surprised Belinda and Rolando were intimate. I'm sure she is destined for Gael although Rolando seems like a good guy.

Karime and Zac are getting along famously. His questioning if Mateo is going to make his relationship with Ximena "official" was a good one and hopefully will make her think about it.

"Eloisa isn't looking great" is definitely right. She now knows (some of) how horrid Iñigo is. I have a feeling learning about Mateo may just do her in.

Kat, I was thinking Aitana loathes Eloisa but it's hard to tell because she is playing a game as you noted.

Bruno / Aitana. Bruno called her a professional liar and repeated the lie Larisa had told him: that Aitana and Zac were seen coming out of a motel room (back when Bruno thought Aitana interested in him). (Larisa flipped the dirt Aitana has on her). Aitana to Bruno: makes no sense, Zac has his own place and lives alone. Okay, let’s be cordial.

The business stuff. Got more of the audio hearing it the second time. Iñigo paid the accountant of Amador’s company for info. Not only did Iñigo learn about Amador’s bankruptcy, but accountant also told him that Amador’s deal with family was a fraud/trick. Accountant specifically advised Iñigo he still had time to avoid disaster for family.

When Eloisa threatened to throw Iñigo out of family (out of will, off payroll, loss of property), Iñigo insisted family needed him to close Astral deal—Astral will only work with him, and only Astral will save them. Luciano accused him of negotiating Astral deal behind their backs, a deal like this can’t come together so quickly. Iñigo : just shows I’m more efficient than you.

Eloisa first says get out! We’ll figure out Astral without you, I’m capable of anything to defend the family! Mateo thinks they should be more cautious, be careful not jeopardize Astral deal.
Paperwork, I’m confused too. Best I can say is they came up with a way that Iñigo could sign the contract, but not alter it in future? Talk of printing, copies, seals.

I think they left it that Iñigo will sign the contract, but then be substituted by Luciano as head.

Funny when Aitana used her special shiatsu pressure to release Iñigo’s negative energy! Ouch. Clever as Aitana is thinking on her feet, no poker face for her. She lets a lot of emotion cross her face.

Thanks Kat, and everyone else that contributed. I was pretty lost on the business deals but now have a better understanding.

I thought the girl looked younger than 24. I hope Bruno survives after reporting this to Rolando’s dad. I liked when Aitana questioned Bruno’s source by saying Zach has his own home, why go to a motel. Hopefully he’ll get suspicious of Larissa. Although I thought everyone except Luciano was already suspicious of her!

I wonder if Eloisa already knows how Mateo is. I really thought that was why Zach’s parents have lifetime protection. They know something about Mateo. But since they’re talking about grandfathers, I wonder if someone in that older timeframe had the same flaws as Mateo. Mateo is the only one that knows the reason, and he promised his mom he’d never tell the others.

Clara, you definitely helped clear things up. I double checked the age Katy claimed and I'm not great with numbers in Espanol, but I'm pretty sure she said veintiquatro. She looked about 18 to me but likely she is jailbait so her character is likely 16 or 17.

Poor Nuria. Too bad the divorce wasn't finalized, shed own the house at least. Unfortunately she would have no alimony or child support. That party planning business is going nowhere fast. Does Ceci work or is she a freeloader along with being a free spirit.. Seems she does help with her nieces at least. Not sure why she came to stay with Nuria. Does anyone recall?

Katy’s age is kinda driving me nuts. Tried to rewatch but not available On Demand. Tried to check actress’s age, but she is daughter of producer, not much info. El Negro does advertise schoolgirls, but 14 is really young (Beli is 17) and Katy under heavy makeup looked older than 14. ?????

Ceci, don’t know. She certainly has a lot of energy! If Nuria’s finances fall off a cliff we might learn something.

Had another sleepover with the 3 year old do I'll try and finish this before she wakes up, but no guarantees. ( Too late, I got 2 minutes. I'll try watching on my tablet as she commandeers the TV)

Eloisa is helped back to bed by her 3 sons and Aitana. Aitana will run into town for some medicine. Mateo says not to worry he'll stay with mom. Luciano gives her some money for whatever she is getting and the exchange of the money earns long lingering looks between them.). Bruno apologizes and says it's his fault for playing the audio clip. Everyone tells him it would have come out.

Aitana goes to the kitchen and gives the money to Clem to have Gael or Juventino go into town for a
Sedative for the senora. Zac is there. He says rumor has it there was a big argument among the family. Clem admits there was. It's always something among the Lizarrága family. Aitana writes down the name of the sedative needed (I would have thought an actual rx from the Dr was needed but who knows how things work in Mexico). Clem leaves to find Juventino. Zac and Aitana discuss Ximena. Aitana doesn't want to work on Eloisa in this affair while she is so poorly. He hopes they won't have to wait too long. So what's up, Zac asks. Larisa sent the audio to Bruno, not to Luciano .I had no time to prepare Eloisa for the news. What an idiot (Larisa? Or herself).

Luciano sits with Bruno discussing the audio, he's wondering who sent the clip. Bruno has no clue, it was an unknown number. It must have been someone that wanted me to get my job back Luciano muses. And to unmask Iñigo Bruno adds. Bruno suggests Larisa, she has the most to gain by you retrieving your position. Luciano says Alfredo Almanza, Amador's accountant was the other voice in the audio clip. But why wouldn't she send it to me, and why anonymously.

Larisa calls Luciano. He tells her he can't talk now. He'll see her tonight and fill her in.

Larisa is now talking to Aitana on the phone. Why did you send it to Bruno who has no filters. Luciano knows how to manage his mother. Larisa says who are you to give me orders. She wanted Eloisa to know. Aitana tells her things could have gone very bad for Eloisa (what if it has killed her before making the disowning permanent. I guess Iñigo has officially been fired since it is a family business).

The Astral delegates are at the ranch for the meeting. Bruno and Mateo join them in the salon. They ask about Iñigo and they say he must be running late. But my mother wants to meet with you, which they are pleased to hear. Aitana wheels her into the room. Eloisa makes it known she is the official head of their enterprise. An astral guy says I thought Iñigo was in charge. She says he is the general director but the family is a team and make decisions together. Eloisa asks Aitana to call Iñigo, who saunters into the room at that exact moment.

Rolando meets Belinda at school with something he didn't want to text. He found a hacker available tonight at 8. Belinda will arrange for Dad and Larisa to be elsewhere at that time.

#45 part 2

Astral business talk. They are going to show them around the ranch. Luciano has been listening at the door, not sure why he didn't attend as part of the team.

Ceci can't believe Iñigo is moving back. Nurs says it's just for s few days. Ceci doubts he'll leave once he gets his foot in the door . He'll probably hit you again, but it's your life. I'll move back home. She's going to go pack. Nuria says just put your essentials in a backpack and room with me (I think) and Iñigo will take your room. Ceci is so sad that Iñigo is playing the victim to take advantage. He could easily stay in a hotel.


Aitana and Luciano settle Eloisa back in her bed. She tells Luciano she should never have stripped him of his position. She never trusted Iñigo like she trusted him.

Untrustworthy Iñigo is assuring two of the astral guys that he is the one in charge. His mother isn't long for this world so he appeases her to make her feel in charge. Astral guys say they aren't comfortable if their is friction within a family enterprise. Inigo assures them he is in control. (Is this a legit deal I'm wondering or are Iñigo and the Astral guys up to something?).

Eloisa says if you raise crows there will peck your eyes out! She apologizes to Luciano and invited him home as the sedative takes effect.

Larisa answers her door, a package for Luciano. But it's a furious Iñigo. He's sure she sent the audio and if he finds proof she's dead. He chases her around the apartment but she grabs two wooden apples or something and threatens to scream the house down if he doesn't leave.

I'll finish this later, unless Clara or someone wants to continue it. I'm 16 minutes into the show at this point and I've been only reading the CCS without audio.

This was really good, Kat. You sound like you have your hands full so I’ll put up some barebones highlights, maybe you or someone will flesh it out? An eventful episode.

— Luciano not at Astral meeting because Eloisa told him (last episode) not to come. Part of her plan to put Luciano back in charge after contract signed.
— Iñigo told Astral guys they could put in a contact condition to deal with him only.
— Larisa, Luciano and Beli hashing over Iñigo’s downfall. Beli says her mom (in heaven?) brought truth to light. Who sent video? Larisa has no idea. Surprise, Beli got tickets to some event (to get them out of the apartment so hacker can come).
— Ugh, Iñigo shows up at Nuria’s, playing the victim as Ceci predicted. Crying…going through tough time….I love you and I see you still love me. Nuria relents and they sleep together, ugh.
— Hacker arrives and quickly gets into Larisa’s laptop. Beli downloads files on USB.
— Bruno to El Negro: at bar; what a gift you gave me! Have any more girls? Oh yes, you’ll never repeat. What about Katy? She’s driving me crazy! El Negro: I’ve got a great selection to spoil clients like you.
— Luciano finds USB on his car windshield. What’s this?
Bankruptcy is imminent.
— Larisa confirms a doctor’s appointment.
— Luciano back to Larisa’s to rip into her: liar, how could you do this? It’s clear, your father didn’t have one peso, you lied to my face and like an idiot I defended you! Larisa with the same tune of dad said he was getting a loan, he lied to me I swear. When Larisa said “mi amor” Luciano shut her down: you don’t know the meaning of the word, you cheated me, don’t touch me! It’s over, he storms out.
— Next morning Nuria regrets sleeping with Iñigo. He had a great time and wants to take it day by day.
— Larisa frantically trying to get in touch with Luciano. She calls the house phone, Aitana answers, on the spot as usual. Larisa’s got to find him so he doesn’t break up with her. Break up? Aitana lights up. Go find him or else I’ll expose that you’re Adriana.
— Aitana learns Luciano took off like crazy on his horse. Off she goes on her own horse. Yes, Luciano falls and Aitana arrives to check him over for broken bones. Blood from superficial head wound.
— Cliche of thunderstorm, need to take refuge in a granary. Some partial disrobing, Aitana tends to his wounds. Thunder scares off the horses.
—Aitana: Larisa wanted me to find you. Luciano: I don’t want to hear it—broke up with her, it’s over. She lied to me and —ta da — I’m falling in love with you! Passionate besos and more.

Thanks Kat and Clara, for info on the goings on. If I don’t take notes as I watch the next day I don’t remember everything that happened! So thanks to Kat for trying, and writing, some with a 3 year old in your care. And thanks to Clara for finishing the recap.

Inigo is a really unlikable character. So cocky and sure of himself. I’ve seen him in Papas por Convenienca, where he was a bad guy, and I wonder if he ever played a good guy. He was in Cómo Tú no hay 2, which was a comedy with drama too, but I don’t remember him.

Aitana must be panicking. She has to get Luciano back with Larisa or Larisa tells her true identity. I don’t think that would keep Luciano at her side. He’d probably swear off women after having two lie to him.

I’m off to the beach with my daughter’s family tomorrow so won’t be able to watch. I’ll binge watch when I get home.

I keep thinking back to Nuria, seemingly hopeless and close to broken. Her spirit was crushed and succumbing to Iñigo was heartbreaking. I loathed every little manipulation of his, and when I saw him put his wedding ring back on when he and Nuria walked down the hall, I feared her fate was sealed. At least for now.

Clever Belinda for finding out a way to hack Larisa's computer. And Larisa has NO idea!

"Larisa confirms a doctor’s appointment". Uh oh...

Aitana doesn't look like she is too worried about being outed for being Adriana; she looks pretty comfortable in Luciano's arms! I shudder to think what will happen when Luciano learns the truth.

Iñigo seems to be landing on his feet despite everything crumbling around him.

I was grateful for a small dose of Mateo...

Liz, Ferdinando Valencia played a very good guy in “Por ella soy Eva.”

Diana, yes, Iñigo was so slick slipping on that wedding ring before he started whittling away Nuria’s defenses. I dislike the character but em enjoying Valencia’s acting.

Luciano’s horse was spooked by a snake.

Amazing how many telenovela characters have accidents with head injuries where they end up unconscious but never seem to have any side effects.

Thanks for finishing the recap Clara. I took my granddaughter for a 2 mile walk with the dogs. The highlight is if we have someone to walk with. Unfortunately we struck out today.

One cute scene was with Juventino and Clem. He's moved her furniture in the living room to better see his huge TV and she is not happy with him rearranging her stuff.

Yes that was a copperhead I think. My granddaughter watched that part and kept asking how did he hurt his head and how did he fall off. We have horses so the falling off part didn't make sense to her. Luciano tells Aitana the horses will return after the storm. Fat chance, they are back in their stable and stalls. A search party may have to head out after them. Aitana takes off her scrub top to wash Luciano up, then is cold and he offers her his shirt when there was a perfectly decent saddle blanket with the saddles. And what was with that hay barn having saddles anyhow? It made no sense. They would be kept at the stables. And it's amazing how a few hugs and kisses makes her not cold anymore.

Nuria did not look like she was enjoying Iñigo's lovemaking at all.

Yeah, the Dr appt. Is she pregnant? I hope it's Iñigo's child and she is found out. If she is and it's a boy Iñigo may actually be happy to get back with her. There are 82 episodes so we are just halfway through this. Lots can still happen.

Kat, we used to watch two of our granddaughters every weekday while our daughter taught. It was so wonderful to be with them aZs they grew up. We made so many lovely memories together.

I can't believe that Nuria let BSC , blustering Inigo back into her bed .
Jarifa, yes the actor playing Inigo played good guys when he was young. I donot think that we will ever see him as a good guy again. It seems that directors like his crazy evil portrayals. Susan.
 

Susan, I've been watching my grandchildren for 7 years now. For the first 4 years it was 3 days a week year round as the other grandma took 2 days. Unfortunately soon after our granddaughter was born she was diagnosed with stomach cancer (she sadly passed 15 months later) so I now do it 5 days a week at their home. Now Fiona is 3 she is willing to do sleepovers so I get some more home time. My dogs and garden appreciate the extra time I can spend here

I have a question. When I read old recapped posts there was a Susan Lynne (or perhaps Susanlynne) that posted. Are you that same person by any chance? I remembered lots of prayers for her after her husband unexpectedly passed.

Happy Easter. Our church had 18 new members brought into the church at a bilingual Easter Vigil that lasted until 10:45 p.m. I added harmony on 2 Spanish responsorial Psalms and I actually understood our Indian priest better in Spanish than in English. He's been at our church since Oct and I'm still trying to train my ear to his accent. For the past 25 years or so I've attended churches with a priest from Ghana, Colombia and now India.
