I re-entered my comment from page 1 since I put it up rather late.

Finally watched #32 this afternoon. I had another outage on my internet last night, called for support, and then went to my Pilates class. It was back on! Then I had to spend a LOT of time wending my way through AT&T's web site in order to cancel the repairman for this morning. I'll add the refrain I'm using with my friends. It won't surprise me when I need a login and a password to use my bathroom.

Come on writers! Deep six the Pelin story line. The woman is a mess. Any man, not just footloose Ferit, would tire of her clinging. And she had the nerve to bring up consequences for HER if the story made the paper. I was quite interested in Ferit saying something about 3 years. She really is spineless if she'd accept a relationship with a guy with an end date.

Sigh. Gulgun was right. Ferit should have the right to speak to his own father alone. But, as usual, he didn't listen to his wife and let Ifakat make Ferit state his personal problem in front of the whole family. I chuckled at "keep your cheating inside" aimed at Orhan.

Sultan has a lot of nerve insisting Dicle have nothing to do with Yusuf. She certainly went right after the "golden boy".

I wonder if they'll ever explain why Kazim has such disdain for Esme. When he said, "I sleep next to her", my reaction was eeewww. Poor Esme having to be night after night beside an ugly, toxic man. ITA about the iron skillet. I have a really good, well-aged cast iron skillet that, believe it or not, I inherited from my grandmother. I'd be happy to lend it to Esme.

"LOBO"
Anastasia or Novelera: Looking forward to seeing the recap of last night's episode.

Lobo
Episode #31 Part 1
April 2, 2026

Azufrero shows Gracie the video that Miranda and Gustavo made for Renata about her eyes. His men found the thumb drive when they cracked open the house safe.

Sue and Nacho arrive at his room at the Cruz house. Sue hides when Cruz arrives to talk to Nacho. Through crocodile tears, Cruz tells Nacho the campaign is for all of them. Later, Sue and Nacho shop for her and return to the house. Leonor finds the women's clothes and tells Nacho that Sue is no good for him. She only wants money. Sue overhears.

In the prison cafeteria, the bad guys start a fight so they can try to kill Lobo and Eugenio. Lobo and Eugenio help each other escape the cafeteria. Eugenio listens to Lobo's history.

Graciela takes Renata to an eye doctor to check out her eyes. When reporting back to Azufrero, she wants Azu to promise not to harm Renata when he has no further need of the girl.

The fat man in the prison, El Cocinero, and Ramos the guard tell Cruz that Antonia is Lobo's girlfriend.

Cruz calls Antonia into his office and orders her to resign her job. The public excuse will be that Antonia suffered from kidnapping syndrome, or Stockholm syndrome, causing her to work with Lobo. If she doesn't resign, he will put her in prison, like he "did with Lobo and Eugenio". (He admitted it.) Antonia tells Cruz that she has evidence that Dante tried to kill Eugenio and did kill Berta, the nanny. This evidence against Cruz's righthand man will damage Cruz's campaign. Cruz says that Eugenio's father was not innocent, like she thinks he is. He asks her "Who was the stray bullet that hit your mother meant for? Who tampered with her mother's death report, getting rid of evidence (which would be a crime). (Yes, I checked the English translation for these scenes.)

Lobo
Ep #31, part 2

Lobo, in talking to the fat man El Cocinero, releases that Fatty knows alot about the case that isn't public knowledge. He schemes to find out who is paying El Cocinero, whether it's Cruz or Azufrero, with the help of Fer and Santi. Lobo plants the false story that the treasure is in a vault of the Central National Bank. Lobo claims he needs to tell someone, in case Lobo comes to harm.

El Cocinero tells Cruz about where the treasure supposedly is. Cruz tells Gracie to get Renata ready to go find out about the inheritance. They will meet somewhere away from the house, so Azufrero doesn't catch on. But Remedios finds out that Gracie and Renata are going to somewhere about the inheritance. Fercho and Santi are watching the house to see if Grazie and Renata leave. They see that the two patrol cars guarding the house for Renata's sake leave and aren't replaced by the next shift.

Antonia went to talk to her grandmother about Eugenio. Guillermina says that Eugenio did an in-depth investigation that would incriminate some very important people, and they had her mother killed to intimidate (amedrentar) Eugenio. Eugenio was to close the file to make it look like a stray bullet (bala perdida) had killed his wife, Carmen. If he didn't Antonia and Guillermina would be next. Years later, when Eugenio wanted to re-open the case, Cruz put him in prison for falsifying records. Cruz may have been behind Antonia's mother's death. (Yes, I re-watched with English subtitles to get all this.)

Lobo

Ep 31 part 3

Antonia will sign the resignation letter (with the kidnapping Stockholm syndrome reason) IF Cruz will release her father from prison and remove the charges against him.

"LOBO"
Anastasia: Howdy from the Alamo City. Thank you very much for your recap of last night's episode.

*Slippery Cruz & the large group of villains are still winning OMG.

*Antonia resigning from law enforcement: Oh well, she was incompetent anyway.

*Buji Goldie Locks would prefer seeing her niece dead. She wants $$$$$$.

*Busted out laughing when you referred to the prison punk as "The Fat Man" LOL.

*Surprised that Slippery Cruz had the balls to admit his crimes to Antonia's face.

*Wondering how long before Telemundo makes this Telenovela into a Super Series if it isn't already.

lobo

Thanks SO much, Anastasia, for your excellent recap. I especially appreciate your going the extra mile for the English translation. If they're discussing something very complicated, I sometimes don't fully grasp it.

What Eugenio did that Guillermina has hinted at several times takes some of the shine off him for his daughter. But it needed to come out that Eugenio had sorta/kinda played ball.

Leonor is a terrible mother. I raised a son and saw a few girlfriends come and go, some of them I could have done without. But I knew to mostly button my lip and cross my fingers they'd go away lest I alienate my son. She said horrible things about Sué. Leonor is as much of a narcissist as is Cruz.

I knew right away that Eugenio had screwed up that time in the kitchen when he was ranting about Lobo and letting it slip that his daughter was involved with Lobo. Now he cost his daughter her job.

I am always happy when Fer and Santi appear again.

Renata is very perceptive. She's often skeptical about Graciela's plans and ideas.

"LOBO"
Novelera: I 100 percent agree with you about Eugenio's stupidity costing his daughter her job with law enforcement.

Good for Guillermina giving Antonia the reality check about Eugenio's corruption.

lobo

I will do a recap tonight, probably not lengthy.

lobo

Viernes - Parte 1 We see Guillermina telling Antonia that her mother was killed to warn her father to back off or Antonia would be next, or perhaps Guillermina. And, years later, when Eugenio tried to re-open the case, Cruz got him put in jail. Guillermina wants Antonia to back off so Eugenio can be free.

Lobo warns Eugenio to watch himself, especially in the bathroom. Eugenio is slightly more cordial with Lobo, but not quite over the arrest. The crooked guard announces that Eugenio is to be freed. Eugenio is upset that Antonia had to give up her passion for her job for his sake

Carlo shows up at Casa Cruz. Leonor tells him he shouldn’t be there. He shows her a video of them having sex on his phone. Apparently, he planted a camera. What a slimeball! He blackmails her into bed with him.

Antonia and Eugenio talk outside the prison and end up embracing. He apologizes for the awful things he said to her inside the prison.

Graciela, Cruz, and Renata enter the bank, following up on Lobo’s misdirection. Fer and Santi have followed them. They figure out that Cruz is after Gustavo de la Colina’s big bucks.

Cruz finds out Lobo set him up and that at the bank is…exactly nada.

Some of the plot points in this novela don’t sit well with me. Adrian speaks with Adela at the Fiscalía. At first, I think he’s accepted that she loves his brother. But he still wants her and a bit later tells Hugo that Adela was the girlfriend he had mentioned earlier. Hugo reacts badly.

Uh oh! El Az has followed Graciela and Cruz to the bank sporting a big Emiliano Zapata moustache as a disguise. He’s furious and says some blood is going to be spilled.

Fernando calls Lobo, and Lobo finds out his trap worked.

Viernes - Parte 2 Cruz and El Az have a confrontation at Casa de la Molina. Cruz does pretty well with the BS that he was using his official job to get information at the bank that helps them both. But El Az is still at a low boil.

Graciela goes to the portraits of her sister and brother-in-law/lover near their graves. We see a flashback to what a jerk Gustavo could be. She decides that she’s getting the big bucks.

Cruz rags on El Cocinero over the phone and says something about a lesson.

Guillermina and Eugenio have a loving reunion.

Leonor tells Carlo that he turns her stomach.

Graciela confronts Cruz and El Az. She’s not buying Cruz’s act at all. She reminds them she has custody of Renata. After some macho posturing by El Az, they agree to work with her.

Leonor and Carlo are walking through Guillermina’s assisted living place, and Leonor overhears mother and son discuss Cruz having arranged for Eugenio’s wife’s murder. Guillermina says that she might go to a judge and tell what she knows. (¡cara de impactada de Leonor!)

Antonia has to tell Renata that she can’t visit for a while (because it was part of the deal with Cruz to get her father out).

Lobo is poisoned somehow. He gave his dinner to an older prisoner, so I’m not sure how.

"LOBO"
Novelera: Thank you very much for the recap of last night's episode. My personal thoughts (it'll be super-short).

*Carlo is one uppity JACKASS: I was shocked to find out he was the one, who was recording his sex escapades with Leonor.

*Slippery Cruz & El Az: Fast Forward.

*Eugenio is a free man, but I wonder for how long?

*Worried for Guillermina because Leonor was overhearing Guillermina'a conversation with Eugenio.

*Buji Goldie Locks wants the big bucks. I need to see more of her entire backstory & what drove her to become EVIL.

*Fingers crossed for Renata's safety.

Lobo
Looks like Graciela was treated badly by Gustavo. He refused to marry Gracie, marrying Miranda instead. But he insisted on keeping up a sexual relationship with Gracie.

I liked how Graciela told off chauvinist Azufrero, and Cruz, and told them that they needed her. She wants some of the money because she is tired of being used by men.

Felices Pascuas !
