MI verdad #73 part 1
*Mateo came back because he forgot his cellphone. He asks again what are you doing in here and Ximena spills her guts, what did you do with the photos you took without my permission, the morning after pills to make me lose my baby and what about that woman that looks like me, you bastard. I entered because I heard the police questioned you at your office. It gave me the courage to also report you to the police. You are going to pay for everything you did to me.
*Luciano wonders why would Larisa order to DNA tests?
*Mateo tells her I'll kill you first before I let you tell anyone.
*Juanjo talks with Laura on the phone. Nothing came up on the blood test of course. She's going to cancel her gym membership so she won't be around him. Juanjo advises her to talk to the owner and explain what he did. He will be kicked out. He also advised her not to let it ruin her life, but investigate anyone before you date him in the future. She swears she will and she's so mad she was so naive. Juanjo says Iñigo is a “bravo con piel de oveja”. I'd compare it to a wolf in sheep's clothing.
*Ximena can't shut up. Mateo says it's your word against mine. She goes to leave and he tells her you're not going anywhere as he shuts the secret door with him in there with her.
*Smart Luciano goes to the hospital to get a copy of the DNA report under his name. Damn Larisa. She lied to me, he thinks as he reads the report. Thank you he says as he walks away. The receptionist calls Karime to tell her the guy got the copy of the DNA report and he is furious.
*Ximena screams let go of me as Mateo tells shut up. They don't show her as she is on the ground behind the desk and he appears to be strangling her. Small mercies we didn't have to actually witness this, I guess. He backs off and slumps down the corner of the room in horror and bangs his head against the wall.
*Ceci and Nuria discuss Iñigo and the custody agreement. Finding out about their dad Nuria hopes will not happen until they are older. Ceci's phone digs with a notification. It's a social media post, Belinda and Gael are in a relationship. Ceci is sad as Nuria comforts her.
*Mateo looks shell shocked as he exits his room of horror. He walks to the table where Ximena left her purse and pulls out a compact mirror to look at the scratches she left on his neck. Ah, that piece of paper from yesterday was a bus ticket.
*Karime sends Aitana a text that Luciano got the true results and left in a rage. She thanks Karime. He may be sad but it's better to know the truth.
*Luciano visits Larisa. She's glad to see him until he rages at her about not being the dad and her lying to him. She still insists he is, but he throws the fact she had 2 paternity tests done the same day in her face.
*Zac bows to Adolfo’s expertise in the charging of Mateo and he thinks they have a good case against him. Zac wants him to pay for what he did.
*Back to Larisa. Luciano says I don't know who your mystery guy is, but he's the baby daddy. Luciano tells her she's just like her dad and he never wants to see her again. Luciano, I love you, yes I lied but I don't want to lose you. He throws her hands off of him as she keeps grabbing him and says this is not love! Stay away from me and my family. She cries as he walks out the door.
*Mateo is at the bus station in a black hoody and PPE mask (nobody blinks at that anymore thanks to COVID).
Micaela and Miriam discuss Ximena. Mica is so glad she has finally opened her eyes to the man Mateo is. She can't wait until she comes.
Mateo puts Ximena's cellphone in her suitcase which he has brought to the bus station and loads it in the luggage compartment and gets on the bus.
*Miriam and Mica trash talk Mateo and Miriam says he doesn't deserve to even be forgiven by God. Mica hopes she brought charges against him. Maybe Adolfo can help her.
*Mateo relives the screaming of Ximena. He gets off the bus, removes his disguise and throws them in the trash. He then hails a taxi.

Aitana is with Eloisa in the garden. Eloisa only has a couple of more radiation treatments and she's done. She will be cancer free and can celebrate. Eloisa is in no mood to party. Mateo is in trouble, Bruno is gone. Aitana asks about Bruno leaving to try and get info from Eloisa. She calls him an ingrate.
Larisa wonders why he contacted the lab? What rotten luck. She swigs some wine down. She makes a call, she wants info on getting an abortion. No, I'm more than 12 weeks along but the baby has a congenital defect and I don't want him.
Aitana gets a few tidbits of information about Bruno's leaving, in particular about the cowardly letter he wrote her. But she wants to change the subject as it's too upsetting. See Luciano about your severance pay, since I'm only a couple of treatments away from being done, I can dispense of your services. This Aitana is in agreement about ( I was surprised they have been so cordial). With EV that's gone on its best I no longer work for you. Eloisa nods in agreement.
Mateo returns to the empty apartment. He's cleaned the breakfast dishes from the table. He goes to the dark room and stares at the vacant board in which the photos used to hang.
Iñigo joins mom, Belinda and Aitana in the garden. It's family announcement time. Luciano has called them all together (though Mateo is AWOL) he only wants to tell this once. I'm not the father of Larisa’s baby. Eloisa cries that's why I wanted you to get the proof. Luciano feels like a fool, Iñigo has a smirk on his face and nods in agreement.
Mateo is still in the darkroom as he sits in the corner again agonizing over what he's done.
Belinda tells dad, we are your family and we love you and we are here for you. Iñigo asks do you know who the father is? Luciano says I don't care, it's not important to me. Eloisa is so glad he found out before giving her baby his name. Iñigo starts making comments that he has disappointed Mom by not providing the wished for grandson.
Mateo scrubs himself raw in the shower.
Eloisa is going to make sure both Larisa and her father will pay. Luciano is just glad she's out of his life for good. Iñigo, we have things to discuss.
The brothers walk to the study. Luciano tells him I know what you did to Juanjo's ex. If you don't want to end up in jail and kill mom in the process you better destroy those photos. Iñigo says quit interfering in my life. I'm interfering because I care about my nieces. Iñigo says what if Nuria lied. Luciano says I do not believe you. Iñigo is indignant that his brother believes a liar and not him. Luciano persists, you belong in jail and I care nothing for you.
Sweet scene with Belinda and Luciano about the baby that isn't his as Aitana listens around the corner and smiles.
Iñigo calls Nuria complaining that she told Luciano and threatens her. She says don't threaten me, sign the decree or I'll accuse you of rape. Fine, he says, you win. He's not sure how to explain it to the girls though. Nuria says leave it to me. Iñigo tells her to have her boyfriend send the papers for him to sign ( is he plotting something?)
Mateo arrives at the hacienda wearing a higher necked polo shirt. He walks in with a hang dog look on his face. Ximena left me. He nearly cries.
Iñigo visits a drunk Larisa. Think of the baby, who must be mine. I'm not having it, she says. Iñigo says think this is the first Lizarrága grandson. Larisa repeats that this baby will not be born.
Mateo says I got home and all her things were gone, no note or anything. I'm devastated he mewls as he bats his pleading eyes at Mama who comforts him.

Eloisa trash talks Ximena. Belinda is disgusted and leaves the dinner table then Eloisa sneers about Gael’s low class rubbing off on Belinda. Luciano tries to reason with Eloisa which causes Mateo to stick up for Eloisa. Don't talk to Mama like that, he demands as he smacks the table with his fist. Luciano sticks up for the Castillos and Belinda as Eloisa claims I only spoke the truth as she literally sticks her nose up in the air in her imagined superiority.
Iñigo takes the wine from Larisa.. Don't make such a sudden decision. First we need to figure out what is wrong with the baby. This baby is a Lizarrága. Your mother disinherited you. This baby is proof of our betrayal of Luciano. I've decided this baby will not be born.
Luciano tells Aitana she can be excused as she's affected by the vitriol coming out of Eloisa's mouth. Mom, you really should think before you speak, your words are hurtful and I'm ashamed to be your son.
Luciano catches up with Aitana in the hell and apologizes for what his mother said. I guess Eloisa also denigrated Belinda's parentage in her spiel I didn't totally follow. Aitana hurts for her daughter. Even if my family is poor, we are much better than yours. She thanks him for defending her, her daughter and Ximena.
Mateo and Eloisa are now alone at the table. They discuss Ximena. He really loved her. He mentions how alike she was to Gabriela and went the same way. Eloisa says you didn't do something stupid did you. No, but she left me and didn't want to stay with me just like Gabriela.
Luciano tells Aitana this is the time to tell Belinda the truth. I'll do it with you this weekend. I'm no longer tied to Larisa, but Belinda binds us together forever. She couldn't be in better hands than yours. Aitana thanks him and they hug.
In Mexico city Ximena hasn't arrived and Micaela just keeps getting her voicemail and they are worried.
Aitana also leaves her a voicemail. She's glad she got away from Mateo. Belinda knocks on her door. You and I are invited to dinner with Clem and family tonight.( I guess the earlier meal was not dinner).
Mateo tries to figure out who tipped the police and Ximena off about him knowing Gabriela.
Micaela calls Aitana who is outside with Zac. Ximena never showed up, wasn't answering her phone or checking her messages. Zac goes to Matlan to see if she had an accident somewhere but no. He spoke with Sergio, the detective on Gabriela's case and he is assisting in the search for her. They will try to ping her phone to find her location but that won't be found until tomorrow.
Mateo's long face is at the breakfast table with Eloisa. He hates being alone in the apartment. That's why I suggested you move back here. Luciano comes in and complains that Belinda had a bad night because of Eloisa's words the night before. Micaela enters. She demands to know what Mateo did to Ximena; she never arrived in Mexico City.

Ximena. Really relieved to be spared the visual. Hope Ximena’s patching things up with Micaela will provide some small comfort to Micaela. It seemed to mean a lot to her. Mateo will probably seek Mama’s counsel about how to dispose of her body. They already think they’ve succeeded with Gabriela!
When Mateo boohooed to Mama about being alone, she answered with this saying: “better alone than with a bad companion” (mejor sola que mal acompañada).
Yes, when Eloisa goes off on her classist rants, she puts it all out there. She went from trashing Gael and saying his low class had rubbed off on Belinda to insulting Belinda’s background because of her biomom, that’s when Luciano scooted Aitana out of the room, “you don’t need to hear this.”
As for Iñigo’s agreeing to sign the divorce papers, maybe it has to do with Larisa’s baby? He sees possible financial gain with a male Lizárraga grandchild, telling Larisa Eloisa would set up a trust for him, and would never turn her back on Lizárraga blood.

Foolish, foolish Ximena confronting BSC Mateo even after learning how evil and crazy he was . A tragic ending for a tragic figure who refused all the warnings she was given . I hope Michaela raises the roof and shares everything she knows with Luciano as he puts the puzzle pieces together.
There is no way the writers can Let Mateo survive . He is consumed by his own evil .
Inigo is as pompous and overly confident as ever. He thinks that be can do anything he wants and get away with it . So many wonderful lines including "Eloisa claims I only spoke the truth as she literally sticks her nose up in the air in her imagined superiority".
I must be in denial but I did wonder if Ximena is really dead. While, like most/all of us, I was relieved not to have her shown being murdered. But we never saw her body (which is always the definitive TN proof of loss of life) did we? A tiny flicker of doubt as to whether or not she could possibly be alive came to me but I fear she is and this is only wishful thinking. A tragic end to a life who deserved so much more...
Mateo is a dead man walking. It's just a case of how he dies.

I must be in denial but I did wonder if Ximena is really dead. While, like most/all of us, I was relieved not to have her shown being murdered. But we never saw her body (which is always the definitive TN proof of loss of life) did we? A tiny flicker of doubt as to whether or not she could possibly be alive came to me but I fear she is and this is only wishful thinking. A tragic end to a life who deserved so much more...

Diana, I also was hoping Ximena survived, but him taking the suitcase to the bus makes me think she didn’t. I couldn’t figure why he got on the bus, then realized it would be proof she left town. I wonder how long we have to wait until the police figure it out! I felt sorry for Ximena, but she knew he was crazy when she went in the room with Aitana. I would have left town then.

Mateo seemingly cooked up a convincing story about Ximena to his family but he definitely seemed nervous. I could see him and even Iñigo attempting (albeit probably poorly) to go on the run to avoid arrest. But I agree with Susan about their fates. Mateo should die. Whatever happens to Iñigo I’m more concerned about his daughters and their reactions. Will they finally stop blaming Nuria for the divorce etc?
I am definitely curious if Larisa will really go through with an abortion. Honestly the family name is tainted. It should end with Luciano. Eloisa doesn’t deserve a male grandchild. I do believe her fate will be tied to Mateo’s fate but we shall see. Luciano is finally free from Larisa. I'm going to adapt Babachitas style of recap tonight…
Mica: I think something bad has happened to Ximena and senor Mateo owes me an explanation.
Mateo: I don't know anything. She left me and took all her stuff.
Mica: if anything bad has happened to her I'm holding you responsible. She was escaping from you.
Luciano: escaping?
Mica: Yes, escaping from your evil brother.
Eloisa: Get out, how dare you insult my son in my own home.
Aitana returns: what happened, Micaela?
Mica: Something bad has happened to Ximena, I'm sure of it and it was Mateo.
Eloisa: get out of here.
Luciano: Mateo needs to explain why Micaela thinks that he has harmed Ximena.
A policeman in Matlan: Ximena Ortega got on the bus at 2 p.m., destination Mexico City. Her phone appears to be at the bus station in CDA (Mexico city going forward).
Sergio: call the station there and have them search her uncollected belongings to see if her phone is with them.
Luciano: Micaela why do.you say Ximena was in danger from my brother.

Aitana grabs her arm to hush her and Gloria comes in. The police are looking for Mateo. They are there to arrest him for the false things he did against Zac.
Eloisa looks at Luciano: call our lawyer immediately to free your brother. Mateo looks at her and she comforts him: don't worry. No Castillo will send my son to prison or my name isn't Eloisa Arenas Lizarrága.
Luciano calls the lawyer. Mica catches up.with him in the hallway.

Luciano: let me fix this and I'll talk with you, I need clarification.

Juanjo calls Nuria about how effective her fight against Iñigo was. He signed the papers. He warns her to remain on her guard though. Your daughters may have a worthless father but their mother is worth 2.
Lucino can't believe Iñigo and Larisa were lovers. Mica didn't see them together but she heard them making assignations and they met at a hotel. Your brother always envied you and wanted whatever you had and Larisa's no exception.
Larisa, still drinking wine, gets a call
Lawyer: I'm calling to let you know your father is being extradited.
Larisa: It's already a fact?
The lawyer confirms it. Larisa takes her ring off her finger and drops it in her wine glass.
Luciano wonders why Mica is only now telling him all this.
Mica: You asked me not to interfere in your life and not to gossip, remember. Well now I no longer work for you I can say what I like. You were the only one who treated me well here. That child is proof of her infidelity.
Luciano: I need proof.
Mica says if you ask you should be able to get the proof (who is he supposed to ask, I'm not sure.)
Aitana asks Eloisa for some free time for a personal matter. Eloisa gives her permission but don't be late. Belinda greets abuela looking for Dad as they were supposed to do breakfast together. Eloisa says he's busy because your uncle got arrested because of Zac. Belinda sets her straight, it was Mateo that brought this on himself.
Luciano recalls the time Iñigo answered Larisa's door, and the incident at the car. He's pretty sure Mica is correct.
Iñigo brings Eloisa to her room and stirs the kettle with his vitriol. Mateo will get out, don't worry. The worst is Luciano wants us to sell our homes to pay off the Castillos. They want their inheritance and selling the hacienda is on the table. Eloisa says the only way she's leaving is feet first (dead).
Belinda and Gael discuss Mateo, abuela being mad, etc. Belinda needs to go to Matlan for some reason and Gael will take her.

In Clem's house Mica arrives. They are all concerned about Ximena. Zac gets a call from inspector Sergio. Ximena never got her suitcase and her cell was in it. Zac says it's always in her hands, this is weird. The inspector agrees. They are trying to contact the bus driver to see if she got off early.
Mateo isn't talking to the police without his lawyer. His lawyer shows up to try and get a bail set. Mateo tells him no trying, get me out of here.
Back at Clem's, Micaela tells Sergio about Mateo Lizarrága, that she was leaving him. He's currently at the jail in Matlan. (I forget, is this where Sergio is stationed)?
Luciano and the family lawyer discuss Mateo's case. A lot was said here. The lawyer is having to use tricks to get him out, Luciano tells him about the video of Mateo stealing the knife and the lawyer says keep that hidden or the case is destroyed. Also about Mateo being investigated in Gabriela's disappearance. Luciano says if not for my mother he could rot in jail, but if he stays here it will be the death of her.
Larisa's door is being pounded on. It's Belinda and Gael. Gael waits outside. Larisa asks Belinda what do you want? Belinda wants to smack her upside the head and does so. They get into a shoving and shouting match with Belinda's departing salgo “ I feel sorry your baby is going to have a mother like you”.
Luciano is on the hunt to find the truth, first stop the hospital. Can't get the results of course. We need to run a new test with the mother's blood and potential fathers blood, hair, etc. Next stop the pay by the hour hotel. The receptionist may have seen them, after a contribution is put in the tip jar, but she can't swear to it.
Mateo and his lawyer discuss his case which is aggravated by the case of the missing Gabriela. Mateo is rude and demanding of his lawyer who threatens to not represent him if he doesn't tell him the truth.
Aitana and Belinda meet in the courtyard outside the hacienda where Belinda tells her about going to confront Larisa. She wishes her dad would find someone like Aitana.
Mateo is told by his lawyer chances are he'll spend the night in jail as the bail hasn't been set yet by the judge and it's due by 3bp.m. Mateo gets angry and combative with him. Now Sergio Estrada enters to ask him a question about Ximena ( and the lawyer is probably wondering what did I do to deserve this client?).
Luciano now questions Nuria if she has any idea with whom Iñigo cheated on her. Nuria doesn't know who. Luciano fills her in. She had said nothing your brother does will shock me, but her face is definitely shocked at this news.
Sergio asks Mateo questions about Ximena and his relatives. Mateo tells him his (supposed) movements of the prior day. Sergio asks if his relationship was in trouble since she left you. Mateo says their only difficulty was that his mother wouldn't accept her. Mateo is advised to stay in town as Sergio leaves.
Nuria admits she is shocked. Luciano says chances are he is the baby's father. Nuria says you're not the father? He may need her help to prove the paternity.
The lawyer tells Mateo you better be telling the truth. Mateo says don't give me any sermons and leave.
Nuria and Luciano have hatched some plan together which I guess will be divulged in a later scene. Luciano leaves. Ceci has heard it all and the sisters discuss how Iñigo and Larisa, her friend, cheated right under her nose. Nuria recalls the time she cried on Larisa's shoulder and a sound came from her bedroom which Larisa claimed was her cellphone vibrating and falling off the desk.

She told Lomeli to leave the house which he did to never return for 18 years. Micaela heard yelling but couldn't hear what was said and his mother sent her away when she checked on her.
Well the plan is to get Larisa's blood type by claiming Nuria's dad is real bad and needs a transfusion and Nuria thinks they have the same blood type. Can she send a lab tech over to see? Larisa says she's not feeling great. Nuria says I helped you when everyone abandoned you. Now it's your turn. Larisa says fine send someone by. ( This scenario was so improbable. Pregnant women do not donate blood).
Aitana tells Luciano she needs to tell Belinda the truth. Luciano will prepare her for it and tomorrow morning will be the day.
Mateo is put in a cell, not alone. He sits on the bench nervously.
Aitana asks Luciano if he's ok, he looks pretty bad. Iñigo interrupts them, I've been trying to get a hold of you. Aitana returns to her nursing duties., but the duty is calling Karime and discussing different matters.
Iñigo meets Luciano in his study where he's written a check for the bail. He offers Iñigo a whiskey. Mateo says always. But you don't drink in the middle of the day. Luciano says I do when things are so difficult. Luciano gives him the check

Your first summary was excellent as always Kat. Your dialogue translations were marvelous and a huge help.
I had to smile grimly at "Luciano says if not for my mother he could rot in jail, but if he stays here it will be the death of her". If only!!! "Iñigo says Mateo may have to spend the night in jail but Eloisa is having none of that". Rushing to her murderous son's defense (yet again) was nauseating.
I enjoyed Nuria and Luciano plotting to get the evidence that Iñigo is Larisa's child's father.
Why would Mateo leave Ximena's cell phone in the suitcase? Isn't there much to implicate him on it??
The hits just kept on coming for Luciano, didn't they? Micaela's story about the fiesta and the aftermath didn't seem to trigger any alarm bells though, to my disappointment. Finding out Aitana is Belinda's bio mother was a good thing but just about everything else has rocked his world! The blows continue to reign down and yet, the worst awaits him still.

Your first summary was excellent as always Kat. Your dialogue translations were marvelous and a huge help.
I had to smile grimly at "Luciano says if not for my mother he could rot in jail, but if he stays here it will be the death of her". If only!!! "Iñigo says Mateo may have to spend the night in jail but Eloisa is having none of that". Rushing to her murderous son's defense (yet again) was nauseating.
I enjoyed Nuria and Luciano plotting to get the evidence that Iñigo is Larisa's child's father.
Why would Mateo leave Ximena's cell phone in the suitcase? Isn't there much to implicate him on it??
The hits just kept on coming for Luciano, didn't they? Micaela's story about the fiesta and the aftermath didn't seem to trigger any alarm bells though, to my disappointment. Finding out Aitana is Belinda's bio mother was a good thing but just about everything else has rocked his world! The blows continue to reign down and yet, the worst awaits him still.

MI verdad #74/75 part 4
Not sure where the breaking point is for the 2 episodes so going forward I'll label this one 74/75.
Luciano invites Belinda for a horseback ride, he has some news which he thinks she will like. She wants a clue but he's not giving her one yet .
Mateo is free, for now, and crying and raging at his mother's apron strings. Mateo: It was the worst night of my life. Those Castillos have humiliated me. Eloisa: They have us tied up. Iñigo told me they want the hacienda. They are crazy if they think I will give this place up. Mateo: I'm going home to shower and get my belongings, I'm moving back. Eloisa: First we need to discuss Ximena. Mateo: I have nothing to say about her. Eloisa: You lie. She has disappeared and Micaela says you are responsible.
On a walk in the countryside (I guess they tied the horses up somewhere) Luciano tells Belinda the surprise is about her bio mom. Belinda says I have so many questions about her. Where is she? He nods his head behind her as Aitana approaches. Belinda asks, why is Aitana here?" Aitana explains she is her mother. Belinda looks hurt. How can you be my mother? Aitana : I had a daughter that was ripped from my arms
18 years ago and that daughter is you. When you told me the story of your biological mother being in a coma the similarities made me realize you might be my daughter. They told me after I woke up that you were dead. Then I discovered you were alive. Belinda: How long have you known? Aitana : Not long. I was already working here when my mother confessed. Forgive me, I went to your room and got a strand of your hair (she reaches for Belinda's hair as she flinches away). It came back positive. Belinda, why didn't you tell me before? You, more than anyone, knows how much I was suffering to know who my parents were. Aitana: I've only known a short time and I wasn't sure how to tell you the blessing it is that you are my daughter.
Eloisa: What have you done? Mateo: Mama, I didn't want to do anything to her but she left me no other choice. She discovered things. She discovered the photos of Gabriela. And the abortion pills I gave her to lose Zac's baby. I had everything under control. It was in a secret locked room. But she found it. Eloisa: What did you do? Mateo: I lost my temper and I strangled her. I didn't mean to, I swear. Forgive me Mama. Eloisa is shocked. She slaps him and calls him an idiot. Then apologizes for slapping him!

*Nuria and a lab tech show up at Larisa's to get her blood. They talk about Larisa's father and Nuria's sick dad. Nuria tells Larisa how much she appreciates this, she's her best friend. Larisa says you're my only friend nowadays.
*Back to Belinda and Aitana as they compare how they have always felt close to each other. Luciano says it's the call of the blood. Belinda needs to be alone and think.
*Iñigo goes to the gym and the manager kicks him out. Why? Laura walks up and tells him undesirables like him aren't welcome at the gym. The manager is much larger and muscular than Iñigo, he'd have no problem throwing him out. Iñigo insinuates that Laura asked for what she got but she sets him straight, all the women at the gym signed the petition to expel him and they yell get out of here.
*Juanjo is hiring a detective to get the dirt on Iñigo no matter the cost. He wants him behind bars.
*Ceci goes with Nuria to the hospital to turn in the blood sample and hair sample.
*Aitana walks back to the house with Luciano. She's disappointed about Belinda's reaction. Luciano tells her she'll get there, give her time. Aitana tells him the difficulty of explaining about the father. Luciano tells her it may be best to pretend she is the product of a one night stand with a stranger.
*Belinda is visiting her adopted mother's grave with Gael as she recalls happy times with her. She really misses her. She was the best mom. She feels relieved that Aitana is her mom and she didn't abandon her.
*Luciano returns home. Gloria lets him know Mateo brought Mom to the hospital.
*Gael comforts Belinda. We both have the good luck of having 2 moms. Luciano calls Belinda about Grandma. He's heading to the hospital and will keep.her informed. Aitana enters the house. Luciano fills her in too. He trusts leaving Belinda as she's with Gael. They head to Matlan.
*Mica, with Clem and Juventino, arrive at the police station. She is given gloves as he opens the suitcase. Yes it's her clothes. The phone is found in an outer pocket of the suitcase.
*Gael tracks Zac down at the ranch office. He tells him about learning Aitana is Belinda's mom. Zac says so they told her. Gael is surprised he knew. Does he ask Zac, are you the dad?
*Mica can't find the evidence Ximena had (the photos, that explains why she needed to get into the locked room). They tell Sergio about them. Ximena would never put her phone in the suitcase. Mica says this is all a rudse. Someone wants it to appear that Ximena went to Mexico City. Sergio asks who do you suspect. Mica says I'm sure Mateo is behind it.
*Gael tries to get the info of who the dad is if it's not him. Zac says it's best you don't know. I'll tell you but Belinda can never know.
*Gael gets the whole story. He agrees Belinda would be better off thinking she is the product of a fling, but he wants to see Mateo in jail for life. Zac gets a text from Mom. Was Mateo at the ranch the day Ximena disappeared? Gael is going to ask all the workers if they saw him.
*Larisa visits Amador in jail. He's glad to see her. He can't believe he was caught. They discuss the baby that isn't Luciano's so he's of no use. Amador asks whose baby is it?
*Iñigo's lawyer tells him he can only see his daughter Nuria, Ceci or Luciano's presence. They are at the upscale bar. Iñigo asks if this restraining order is only in this state (?). The lawyer says yes but I would abide by it everywhere and stay out of trouble. (How does her being with her daughters in supervised visitation from him work I wonder?)

Mateo tells Luciano and Aitana he's waiting for the doctors to give them the status on mom. He explains they were talking and she passed out. Aitana asks talking about what, did it upset her. He blows up, of course not. Luciano tries to calm him down. She's a nurse and has the right to ask questions. Mateo points out if she's the nurse where was she ( I made that point in my last comment but had to cut it because the comment was too long, anytime the spaces go away and I add asterisks you know I had to edit and shorten). Luciano says mom authorized her being away. Now Mateo is yelling at Luciano. The Dr arrives. She suffered an embolism, a type of brain hemmorrage.
Sergio goes with an entourage to the ranch office looking for Mateo. Pedro, a ranch hand, tells him he's at the hospital in Matlan because his mother is bad. Iñigo walks in to hear this. Why didn't anyone tell me ( Gloria tried and left a message, I'm amazed how many messages get missed by these people!). Sergio asks, who are you? I'm Iñigo Lizarrága he sneers. The question is who are you. oh a police agent he sneers. Sergio maybe shakes his hand and says he's here for Mateo. I igo assumes is about Zac but Sergio corrects him. It's another matter, the disappearance of Ximena.
Mateo pleads, she'll be ok, right? Unfortunately she is half paralyzed. We aren't sure if it is permanent. This could be the least of the affects. For some it affects speech and vision, memory. The doctor mentions stress or anxiety may have caused it. Mateo walks away at this news. Luciano stares after him.
Sergio asks Iñigo what hospital does he think they went to Iñigo, lounging against a desk says I'm sure the intercontinental hospital in Matlan. They thank him and leave. If you see your brother tell him to stick around. Mateo tells Pedro to get to work. He texts Mateo to earn him. Also how's mom, what happened? Are you behind Ximena's disappearance?
Luciano sits next to Mateo in the waiting room. Have you told Iñigo,? Contact him. Mateo opens his phone sees Iñigo's message and skedaddles away. The doctor tells Luciano and Aitana that Eloisa woke up. She can't talk. Aitana treasures Luciano it may return in a few days, the doctor concurs. They are going to see her but are stopped by Sergio who is looking for Mateo. Luciano points to where Mateo was a minute ago, as Sergio tells him he's wanted in the case of missing Ximena. He was just here Luciano says....

Liz did I answer enough about Mateo's outburst when Eloisa fainted. I've already forgotten how much detail I went into. I felt it was an important scene so I did try to get it in its entirety. The long awaited Belinda/Aitana discovery finally happened. It more or less went to an expected outcomes. I was surprised Belinda kept harping on the bio dad. After nearly. Ring sex trafficked you might have expected her thoughts to go in that direction. Actually that's the first place I would go if I'd discovered I was given up for adoption. I have a friend who discovered years after her mother's death that she had placed a son for adoption because of a r*pe. Thanks to the DNA ancestry sites now, she knows she has a brother. I know she was shocked and has lots of questions that can never be answered since her parents passed long ago.
I finished this morning, I really should have done it tonight, but since my husband works Saturday mornings I figured I'd finish it off. Now I need to tackle some more gardens before next weeks heatwave.
Liz did I answer enough about Mateo's outburst when Eloisa fainted. I've already forgotten how much detail I went into. I felt it was an important scene so I did try to get it in its entirety. The long awaited Belinda/Aitana discovery finally happened. It more or less went to an expected outcomes. I was surprised Belinda kept harping on the bio dad. After nearly. Ring sex trafficked you might have expected her thoughts to go in that direction. Actually that's the first place I would go if I'd discovered I was given up for adoption. I have a friend who discovered years after her mother's death that she had placed a son for adoption because of a r*pe. Thanks to the DNA ancestry sites now, she knows she has a brother. I know she was shocked and has lots of questions that can never be answered since her parents passed long ago.

Susan according to my YouTube TV the gran final is episode 82 May 27th. Also according to my upcoming episode list Monday and Tuesday are episodes 74 and 75, which I just recapped! So I don't know what is the true timeline. I do think there are 82 episodes so about 2 more weeks if this show. We'll see how it plays out. Next Friday it says it is being shown at 7 p.m. as a heads up for those that can't record it.

Aitana and Belinda, if I were Belinda I too would be outraged not to learn earlier. Aitana and Luciano’s plan was for Belinda to leave with Aitana and live with her when Aitana left the hacienda, but Belinda refused, she doesn’t want to leave Luciano and needs to process the info.
These three agreed to keep it a secret, but now Gael knows all. Gael asked Zac if he was the dad. No, it is Mateo. Belinda can never know. Gael, horrified, agreed to try to convince Belinda not to search for her bio dad.
Diana, good point about what could be on Ximena’s phone. Inspector Sergio is sending it for analysis.

Aitana tells Belinda she wasn't sure how she would react. Both are crying (poor actress playing Belinda ugly cries I've noticed). Then they hug. Belinda doesn't know what to say, she never imagined her mother would be found so close to her. Aitana: Me too. When I came to work for your grandma I never imagined I'd find my daughter. I didn't even know you were alive. You were adopted while I was unconscious and I couldn't get you back! I was alone when I was in the coma. They couldn't find my mother and she was my only family. They put you in the orphanage because I couldn't care for you. Belinda: And my father? Aitana: your father was not aware of your existence.
Mateo: I got rid of her the same way I got rid of Gabriela. No one will find her. Calm down Mama. Eloisa: Even so, I think you are in danger by remaining in this country. Arrange your affairs today and you can go to the US. Mateo tells her he can't leave because of the Ximena investigation. He continues to reassure her nothing will happen. She seems to have a stroke and slumps over in her chair. Mateo yells for help.
Belinda continues to ask about her bio dad as Aitana gives Luciano pleading looks for help. She turns Belinda towards him and says God gave you the best dad in the world. Luciano tells Belinda he loved her from the first moment he saw her.
Mateo's help consists of the house servants and one guy escorting him down the stairs as he carries her. He tells Gloria to tell his brothers he's taking her to the hospital in Matlan.
More with Belinda Aitana and Luciano. I guess it's the moment we've been waiting for but it's getting long and dragged out with the action going on elsewhere…
Zac comes into his parents house to get Micaela. She is needed at the police station to identify Micaela's belongings.
Belinda wants to know who else knows. Us, my mother, Zac and my friend Karime. Nobody else. Luciano tells her we don't want anyone else in the family to know yet. Belinda can only imagine what Grandma's reaction will be. We know how much of a classista she is. Belinda says I don't feel a part of them anymore. I miss Bruno, but he's not here anymore. Aitana says it's for a few days. When Aitana leaves she wants you to go with her. The hacienda is toxic. Belinda doesn't want to be separated from dad. Aitana wants a place close so she isn't far from him. Belinda clings to Papa. I have so much to think about. They understand. Belinda tells Luciano she loves him forever and he'll always be her dad. Ditto from Luciano. Belinda turns to Aitana and tells her they have a lot to talk about, especially about her bio dad. Poor Aitana covers her eyes in grief. Luciano tries to diffuse this by reminding her your mother is who you wanted to find and you did, and your dad is right here in front of you.

Susan, there are 3 attempts out there for part 5. I imagine after Jarifa reads this it will be retrieved. It was a pretty good comment if I say so myself, so hope you read it later, lol. I agree with both of you that Zac should have kept the truth to himself, or pleaded ignorance. It wasn't a simple process to actually get the results in the first place. I still always wondered how Adriana knew who abused her, did they say each other's names as they molested, her or did she know them from before. if so, she would have realized she was blaming the wrong Luciano when she first came to the hacienda. 18 years can make a big difference in what people look like too.

Nuria’s plan to get a sample of Larisa’s blood was a little over the top and amusing. It worked though. Luciano was actually more subtle in getting Iñigo’s DNA. While I am glad that Luciano is taking these anonymous messages seriously I wonder what his reaction will be when he finds out that it’s Aitana who has been sending them. Aitana, like Mica, has known about the affair for a while now. Luciano might be a little disappointed to find out that Aitana knew about it and didn’t tell him directly.
I’m glad that Belinda finally knows that Aitana is her mother but that’s not the whole story. Telling Luciano and Belinda WHO assaulted her will be the hardest part for Aitana.
So basically Iñigo is an accomplice in Mateo’s escape. Hopefully Ximena’s body is found soon.

The lab tech gets it and uses a cooler to transport it, but I guess Nuria didn't see the need to keep it cold. I'm not sure if it was necessary. Nuria had the more difficult assignment as the blood sample was needed so the baby's DNA was present. Larisa has a dumb blonde moment though. No way would a doctor use her as a donor while she is expecting. She tried to explain that to Nuria but maybe she was still drunk and not thinking clearly.
What do you all think about Nuria's new look? I liked her curls but I guess straightened hair is more professional.
