Babachita: I enjoyed watching my beloved Spurs punking those Thunder floppers last night 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
#GOSPURSGO
Howdy from the Alamo City, CarayCaray Family. My personal thoughts on last night's episode:
*Jackass Big Ed seeing the ghosts of Misael & Cesar.
*Slippery Cruz comforts Ignacio & Lady Macbeth as they all grieve Cesar's death.
*Clingy Miranda is getting on my damn nerves with her creepy obsessive behavior. I wonder how long before Alejandro bails? 🤔
*Eugenio nearly had his Redd Foxx moment of having another health crisis at the hospital.
*Santi puts some tracking device on Buji Goldie Locks. What could possibly go wrong? 🤔
*Jackass Big Ed & Slippery Cruz forming some aliance to getting rid of their enemies.
Thanks Steve for your notes on last night's episode #64 Thursday, May 1, 2026. My pain level was pretty high and I mostly just watched the episode and took very few notes. The doc has given me some drugs, and I was drowsy at the end.
Just to add:
When Azufrero was asked by Cruz about Cesar's death, Azufrero decided to blame the boys' deaths on Miranda. (Not that Azu was going to confess.)
Miranda was planning to use some device, I'm not sure what. Alejandro became enraged and talked in a loud voice about Miranda's nefarious actions. Graciela overheard this and heard Alejandro say that Miranda was involved in Gustavo's death, among other things.
I can't decide if Cruz was really upset about Cesar's death or was crying crocodile tears for the benefit of his family. Leonor told him that he can't stay at the house.
I didn't catch all of Cruz and Azufrero's face-to-face conversation at the end, as I was drowsy.
Next week is the last week of Lobo:Morir Matando.
I think the device Santi put on Graciela was a microphone. She of course was upset to hear from Alej that Miranda was responsible for Gustavo's death. Graciela is to try to get Miranda to say something incriminating on tape. A dangerous mission indeed.
Yes, Steve, I also enjoyed the beatdown of the Thunder last night by the Spurs. Their defense was AWESOME! They played with such passion and spirit. I think a Finals series with the Knicks and the Spurs would be memorable.
The seeming death scene of Eugenio was weird. The staff hustled Antonia out of there to do...something. Then a minute or so later they came out and said he was doing fine and should have a full recovery, or words to that effect.
Yep, Plácido is doing some clever misdirection about the reason César died. Oscar told him to his face that Misael would be alive if he'd not been such a homophobe. Both Cruz and El Az want Miranda dead, but I think she's smarter than both of them put together. Not that I think she'll survive. IMHO they need to kill her off so Lobo and Antonia will be Renata's parents.
I believed Cruz when he grieved with Leonor and Nacho. We saw him not exactly thrilled about what César was doing. I thought it was not clearly homophobia, but rather that the relationship was with Misael. Cruz works with El Az, at least in the past, but he considers himself far superior. So, Misael was not worthy.
I also heard it said that next week was the last week. I called Juanita in case she wanted to put up something on next week's pages about ending that week. While on the phone with her I scrolled through my DirecTV guide. It also showed Monday and Tuesday, June 8 and 9 with Lobo set to record. And that's where my guide stopped. It only goes so far and then just says "to be announced". So, I have no idea. What I am dying to know is whether they are going to resume Lejos de Ti when Lobo concludes. At the end of its last episode there was a "to be continued" shown.
1) On a re-watch this evening the device they showed Miranda receiving was a silencer for her gun. They didn't show a clear view of it.
2) I have seen conflicting info on the end of Lobo. The chyron on TV last night said that next week will be the last week. Then today I saw TV Insider indicating episodes June 8, etc. as Novelera said.
3) La Copa Mundial starts June 11, and Telemundo will show a lot of matches. It ends July 19.
4) Telemundo said at the end of season 1 that Lejos will return in July altho right now they are only promoting El Señor de los Cielos. I assume they will pair Señor with Lejos once Telemundo ends their Copa coverage.
#59 part 1
Rewind: Orhan gets word at the dinner table that Ferit and Kazim have been shot. Everyone is very impactada.
Halis orders Latif to get the cars ready. Everyone rushes from the table.
Meanwhile, Ferit and Kazim are on their way to the hospital in an ambulance. [here’s the unedited scene.] Their wounds are minor. Kazim starts howling—I’m dying… I’m dying! I don’t feel my legs! Ferit looks at the EMT and she says that’s not possible. Kazim asks her, girl, you didn’t study remotely during the pandemic, did you? Do you know CPR? You might need to resuscitate me. The EMT says, the bullet just grazed your leg. You aren’t even bleeding anymore. This has nothing to do with the heart.
Of course, dear, Kazim replies, the bullet hit, but the rest is not important. Mortingen şitraze! Mortingen şitraze… [slang mix of Turkish and German. Sort of “road to death” or “dead”] Life is fading before our eyes, there’s nothing left to do. Roll up my sleeve! You need to open a path to the veins. Did you announce the need for blood? Tell all Istanbul. I’m losing blood! I’ve lost a lot of blood!
The EMT sighs, sir, you’re fine. Please don’t worry. [I think Mert is trying hard not to laugh.] Kazim continues to whine. I am allergic to peaches, maybe you need this information. I have an allergy… Ferit holds Kazim’s head and tries to calm him down. He says, Kazim Baba, you’re fine, I’m fine, calm down.
Kazim asks Ferit to come closer and he warns the EMT not to eavesdrop, this is a private conversation. Ferit, I will tell you my will. I own some land in the village. It’s beautiful. Esme really likes it. There’s an apple tree in the middle. The land is fertile. I miss it so much. Please make sure that Esme keeps it, okay? Ferit nods, I’ll make sure.
Kazim continues, do you know about the million dollar property? [the one that he got from the Korhans.] That one goes to my sweet daughters. You have to handle everything, son, you’re the only one I trust. Make sure my daughters split the inheritance into equal parts. Ferit says he’ll do so. Kazim asks, son, pray for me, I have a lot of sins, okay? I have a lot of sins… pray for me so I don’t pay for it in the afterlife.
Ferit leans over to the EMT—did you give him a sedative? The same as you, she answers. Kazim continues to whine. I’m dizzy… I’m hallucinating, son. He takes out his phone—I’ll look online. The EMT rolls her eyes. Ohh, it says I’m going to die! My head is spinning. I’m definitely going to die! Kazim tosses his phone. My God! I’m coming to you! [Ferit/Mert buries his head and it’s clear he’s laughing.]
Here’s the YouTube clip, if you want to hear Kazim in Turkish for a laugh. It’s just 3 mins. There are no captions available, but I gave you the dialog. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yp3wq0yRZ1I&t=2s
Seyran rushes into the bedroom to grab her coat and bag. Pelo is alarmed. Seyran? What’s wrong? Did something happen? Seyro ignores her. Pelo asks, is Ferit okay? Why do you care, Seyro shouts back, who are you? This is your fault. Not only did you put yourself in danger, but Ferit and my father. Are you happy now?! There’s no fixing this! Stay away from me! Seyran leaves and Pelo says, I didn’t act like this when I helped your sister. [not the same thing, Pelo.]
Halis speaks by phone with Ferit. He tells grandpa not to worry, he’s fine. Halis says they’re on the way. Ferit hopes grandpa won’t get mad at him. Halis asks about Kazim. Ferit turns to look and Kazim is fooling around with his IV bag. Ferit says, he’s okay, he’s in a room now. We could go home, but… Halis says they can’t go yet. Stay there until I talk to the doctor, he says. Ferit goes to help Kazim with the IV. He tells him to stop squeezing it or his veins will explode.
#59 part 2
Halis quietly asks Latif to find out who was behind the attack. Let’s find out if the ones responsible deserve to keep breathing. Halis turns and gives Abidin the death stare. Poor Abi hangs his head.
Sultan comes running out of the house. Abi holds his hand out to keep her back until the cars leave. Abidin, I’m begging you, she says, let me know right away if Ferit is okay. Sure, he replies, but you have to do what I asked. Don’t let that girl leave the house. Orders from Ferit. Okay, she answers, don’t forget to call me.
Seyran runs out of the house and into the car. She’s distraught. Abi tells Mustafa that he called more staff to the yali.
Back to the hospital. Kazim is moaning. They shot us… God help us… Ferit tells him, that’s enough. Kazim doesn’t stop. Ferit starts to laugh, then grimaces. He gets a call from Seyran. Please stop moaning, he tells Kazim, Seyran is calling and she’ll worry. Kazim stops and warns Ferit, you have to pretend you’re okay. You better stop complaining. You can’t let her know the state I’m in. Be strong like me. Ferit replies, pretend? Nothing happened. Just stay calm.
Ferit answers and Kazim immediately starts moaning in the background. Seyran asks, Ferit? How are you? Are you really okay? We are okay, he replies, I’m with your dad right now. Kazim calls out—I’m dying, dear! I’m dying! Are you serious, she asks Ferit, don’t lie to me. Of course I’m serious, he answers, your dad is overreacting. He’s fine.
Kazim asks to speak with Seyran. It might be the last time, he says. Ferit whispers to Kazim, don’t scare her, please don’t make this worse. Kazim sits up and nods. He puts his finger to his lips—shhh! Deep breath. Then he whimpers into the phone—kızım… She asks, Baba, are you okay? No, he replies, I feel terrible.
Ferit tells him to stop. Kazim continues, I can’t feel anything from the waist down. I can’t feel my legs. Besides, I don’t like hospitals. You have to pick me up and take me home. I’d rather die in my own home, surrounded by my family. The Korhans have no influence here. Ferit asks him to stop again.
Kazim says they are not taking care of him. Seyran tells him not to worry, they’re on the way. He tells her to hurry, he can die at any minute. Listen, take care of our family. Don’t forget me. My feet are cold already. He asks Ferit to look on the internet for cold feet and a gunshot wound on the leg.
Ferit takes the phone away from Kazim. Hello, Seyran? I’m telling you he is fine. He wouldn’t be on the phone if he wasn’t. She’s crying. Don’t cry, Ferit says, I’m taking care of him. End call. Seyro asks Abi to hurry. He assures her that they are okay. He asks her if she’s going to tell Suna and the rest of her family… in case he needs to pick them up. Seyran says she wants to see her father first.
The Korhans arrive at the hospital. Halis tells Fuat to do what he can to keep the press from finding out.
They edited out Ferit having a small anxiety attack outside of Kazim’s room. He pulls himself together and calls Pelin. He tells her that Serter’s men attacked them. She’s alarmed. What hospital are you in, she asks, I’m coming. Ferit tells her it’s better if she doesn’t come. She wants to see him, and he suggests a video call.
Ferit is about to call when his family arrives. They are relieved to see he’s okay. He admits he was scared but got lucky. Gulgun asks, who did this? Halis says that’s a discussion for later. Ferit kisses grandpa’s hand and there’s a hug. Ifakat asks about Kazim. He’s fine, Ferit says but he won’t accept the fact that he’s fine. The fam goes to see Kazim.
#59 part 3
Pelin calls Ferit but he shuts his phone. She grabs her coat and leaves the room.
Halis tells Kazim he promised to sacrifice 7 sheep for him. Kazim thanks him and says they were almost killed. But you weren’t, Orhan says, thank God it’s over now. But it’s not over, Kazim replies, I don’t know if the bullet traveled from one leg to the other and is stuck.
At this point, Seyran rushes into the room and straight to her father’s side. Thank God you’re okay. Welcome, my dear, my youngest daughter, Kazim says, your father was nearly killed. All I could think about while it happened was you and Suna. You have no idea how happy I am you’re here. I pictured your mother in her New Year’s outfit, only she was on her way to my funeral. God forbid, Seyran says.
Kazim continues, it’s good that I have such a son-in-law. He was so brave. He took a bullet for me. He jumped in front of me and deflected the bullet. Seyro turns to look at Ferit, and he smiles and gives her a little wave. Kazim says, he made that man miss the shot that would have killed me. Halis looks proud. Ferit is feeling proud. I owe you (Ferit) my life, Kazim says, he’s the reason I’m here now. I’ll tell the truth, your grandson is immature, but he’s also incredibly brave.
Seyran goes over to Ferit and asks if he’s okay. Took you long enough to remember your husband, he replies. Gulgun notes that Ferit must be feeling okay. Ferit gives Seyran a hug. [ah, Seyran, there’s no way out of it.] She doesn’t quite return the hug but he’s enjoying it anyway.
Kazim tells Seyran not to tell auntie. She’s an old lady. This would kill her. It would send her to the other side. God forbid, Halis interjects, would you send one of us to the next world tonight? Seyran says that she didn’t tell them. Wise Halis tells Latif to call Hatice and tell her there is nothing to worry about. We are all together and we will take Kazim home.
Ifakat asks if someone would explain what happened. Kazim says, Ferit, those men were looking for you. What happened? We need to fix this. Ferit gives Kazim a look. Halis steps in—Kazim, you should get some rest. We’ll talk about this later. Your daughter is here with you. Spend some time with her. The Korhans leave the room.
The ladies head to the cafeteria while the men talk. Halis tells Orhan to call Abidin to come. And find us a private room.
Pelin is trying to leave the yali. Mustafa tells her she can’t leave. She tries to make a case, but Mustafa says he would need to clear it with Ferit first. Sultan comes rushing out of the house. Pelin Hanim! I’m glad I found you. Pelin asks if there is an update.
Let’s go inside, and I’ll tell you, Sultan replies. Abidin is with Ferit. Ferit is okay. He’ll be discharged soon. There’s no need for you to leave. It might not be the best idea for you to go see him. Halis Aga is with him now. Pelo gets a bit of an attitude. Why do you care if I go or not? I didn’t mean to offend you, Sultan says, but I don’t think Ferit would like that. He wants you to stay here, for your own good. Pelo relents.
Brief edit: Carlos is on the phone trying to get an update on Ferit for Sefika, who is very worried. Sultan comes in and complains about the crazy woman upstairs who tried to escape. She calls Pelo arrogant. Sefika says they should light some sage and walk around the house while everyone is out. Sefika tells Carlos to try Abidin again.
Halis, Orhan, Ferit and Abidin are in the private room. Halis wants to hear what happened. Ferit explains, I have a dear friend who I’ve known since high school. Some guy has recently tried to enter her life. Halis asks if this is the girl he brought home. Ferit is surprised, he looks at Orhan. Orhan says that Seyran told him at dinner. Halis sternly tells his son that they will discuss that later. This is more important.
#59 part 4
Halis asks Ferit to continue. This guy, he’s not a good person, Ferit says, I told her to stay away from him. I warned her multiple times. I told her he was dangerous. The guy is angry at me for this. He went to her place the other day and completely trashed it. I knew that psycho could do it again. She called me, crying. I couldn’t think of a safer place to take her. So I took her home.
Orhan says that Ferit should have told him the moment it became serious. Ferit gives his father a look—I couldn’t dad. Halis asks, why did the situation reach the point of shooting? Kazim baba called and wanted to talk, Ferit answers, he had something important to tell me. I didn’t think anyone was following me. I doubt they planned on taking it that far. Kazim baba tried to protect me, he headbutted a man who turned out to be their leader. Things escalated after that.
Halis sighs. I understand why you didn’t tell your dad [ha, Halis threw some shade at Orhan.] but I don’t understand why you didn’t come to me. Have I ever refused to help you when you needed it? I didn’t want to upset you, Ferit explains, I thought I could fix it. Halis says, you thought so? Why didn’t you try to help him, Abidin? He acted impulsively, like any young man whose ego was hurt. Did we hire you to just stand still? Abidin keeps his head down and doesn’t answer.
Ferit speaks up. Abidin was doing his job. It’s not his fault. Halis tells him to be quiet. To Abidin—do you think we would’ve forgiven you if this ended differently? Forgive me, ağam, Abi replies.
Halis asks, who are these men? What is their name? They are an important family, Abi says, Ferit’s issue was with their sole heir. His parents died so he became the head of the family. Halis replies, I’ll deal with you later, Abidin. Orhan will also have to answer. I will personally make sure you get your punishment. Abidin apologizes.
Orhan glares at Abi. Despite my warnings… despite reminding you of your responsibilities… you say that you’re sorry? Ferit intervenes, dad… that’s enough. Am I still a kid? Do you think you can still control me? Scolding me, having a man follow me around? Doing that will only make me keep lying. When will you understand? Abidin is not to blame for anything, understand?
Halis shuts Ferit down. He says, I know who’s at fault for this. He sends Abi out of the room. He tells Ferit to go back to his wife. He tells Orhan that Latif must know by now. I asked him to investigate this. He must already know who these people are. Find these people. I want to see them tomorrow.
Fuat is with the ladies in the cafeteria. He asks, what does Abidin do all day? He’ll get fired if he keeps this up. This is Ferit’s fault, Ifakat says, why is he still seeing his ex if he’s married? Asuman exclaims—what?! That girl he brought to the house is his ex? Fuat tells her not to start trouble. I won’t, she replies, but Seyran must know this. Now I understand why she’s acting like that. But she’s right.
You think she’s right, Ifakat asks, if she would fulfill her duties as his wife, perhaps her husband wouldn’t be looking at others. [a dig at Gulgun as well?] Gulgun glares at Ifakat. This isn’t Seyran’s fault. It’s Pelin’s. She has no pride or shame. She’s chasing a married man. [hmm…] Ifakat looks a little uncomfortable [guilty!] The girl has no dignity. Ifakat doesn’t see it like that [of course.] We might have been wrong to marry Ferit to someone he didn’t want.
#59 part 5
Gulgun laughs. Don’t you think it’s a little late for that? I wouldn’t say that, Ifakat replies, as long as there are no children, it’s not too late. Asuman looks disgusted. Fuat tells them to stop arguing. It’s not the place. Gulgun asks Ifakat, why is that? What good is it to you? Listen carefully. I won’t let you do this to my son and DIL. Gulgun goes out for air.
Seyran exits the room as Ferit comes down the hallway with 2 water bottles. What’s wrong, Ferit asks. Nothing, Seyran replies, my father is thirsty, so I’m getting him water. Ferit says that’s from all his complaining. I have a bottle for you, too. She chugs down the water. [remember, she did the same after getting the pre wedding blood test.]
Ferit observes, wow, you were thirsty. You must have been burning inside. Is it because of me? Of course it’s your fault, Seyran replies, you have no idea how scared I was. Ferit smiles, were you worried about me? It’s not that, she says, what happened to my father was your fault. He got the worst of it.
Stop it Seyran, Ferit says, you know he’s alright. Should I start complaining so I can hear a good word from you? You have a lot to think about first, she replies, think about what could have happened to you. I’m angry just thinking about it. Ferit looks down and says he’ll think about it. His smile comes back and he asks, be honest, were you worried about me? Even just a little? I think you were.
Seyran asks him if it hurts. A little, Ferit replies, actually… a lot. I was just going to say you don’t complain as much as Dad… but you do. Ferit laughs. Kazim calls out for Seyran from the room. Don’t leave me here alone! Is there anyone? Doctor? Police? Gendarme? Somebody, come! Ferit laughs. Seyran says, do you want to go in. Kazim shouts, where is everyone? Did an earthquake come?
Kazim recounts the incident for Seyran. While Ferit and I were talking, a storm was brewing. Some people came up to us. I realized what was happening. I immediately understood. One of them called me uncle. He called me uncle! His hair was gray, but he calls me uncle! Look at yourself, grandpa! I got so angry. I ran and ran and jumped and headbutted him like Ronaldo! He fell to the ground in front of me.
Isn’t that what happened, Kazim asks Ferit. Of course, Ferit replies. Kazim says he’s not exaggerating. There were at least 80 of them. Right, Ferit? You’re not exaggerating, Ferit confirms. Kazim tells Seyran, your husband is a brave man. Wooow, he hit them so hard! Hit like Muhammad Ali! They all fell to the ground. That’s my damat! Seyran is stunned by what she hears.
Ferit answers, Estağfurullah, Kazim Baba. Kazim tells him, don’t be so modest. Ferit says, being next to you, such a great ağa, that’s why I was so inspired. It gave me all the courage I needed. Kazim eats it up. I’m not that old, he says, I still have some fight left in me.
Seyran goes over to Ferit. I didn’t realize it was so serious. I’m sorry. Ferit leans over and says, it would have been better if you had listened to me from the beginning. You would have understood.
#59 part 6
Slight edit here: Kazim complains about his leg again. I think the bullet must still be inside. I think they didn’t look close enough. Both Ferit and Seyran laugh. Why are you laughing, he scolds, I’m fighting for my life and you’re laughing! I’m the one who’s suffering! Ferit says, there’s nothing, I swear, Kazim Baba. They checked several times. Ferit quips, you’ll have to sew up your pants. Kazim holds up his split pants leg and laments, these were such good pants. They made them into flared trousers.
Ferit’s phone rings. It’s Pelo but he says it’s his mother and he’ll call back. Seyran sees and grabs the phone from him—I’ll answer it. It’s your mother after all. She walks out of the room. Ferit goes to follow but Kazim calls him to fix the bed for him.
Seyran speaks with Pelin. What do you want? Pelo asks if Ferit is there. No, Seyran replies, he’s with my father, who is wounded, thanks to you. Pelo says she wants to apologize. You know I never wanted this to happen. I don’t care, Seyro says, think about what could have happened. I can’t accept the fact that you’re still in my room. Pelo answers, but your father is okay right? Why do you care, Seyran asks, and hangs up.
Ferit finds Seyran. What are you doing? Give me my phone. She slaps it against his chest. You’re still questioning me, she asks, don’t you see this could have been a tragedy? Ferit answers, I understand that you are worried about your father… but don’t take it out on Pelin. She didn’t mean for this to happen.
She didn’t mean for this to happen? Seyran replies, she’s the reason you got shot! She almost got you killed! Do you realize that? And you still defend her. You keep saying she didn’t want this to happen. I don’t know what else to say. Ferit answers, she’s the reason I got shot… He gets serious here—but for you… I would die for you… I’d die without blinking an eye.
Seyran looks at Ferit and says, iğrençsin ya (you’re disgusting). He’s taken aback. I’m going for a walk, she says, stay with my father. Your father needs to rest, he says, I’ll take a walk with you. He tries to keep up with her and asks her to stop. He grabs her arm. Look, I’m really sorry. I’m sorry. As you can see… He lifts his shirt and shows her the bandage. I understand what you’re saying.
Why didn’t you let me know, Seyran asks, we could have found a solution. Why did you bring her to our room? Ferit explains, I was angry. You saw me. I couldn’t think of anything else. I was scared of your reaction. If you had refused… I would have brought her anyway. But now this is what happened, she replies, you still did it.
Ferit hobbles away to sit on a bench. He says, your sister told your father everything. Seyran is shocked. That’s why I left in a rush, he says, your father wanted to see me, but he didn’t want you to find out. And I was with him when it happened. He asks her to sit. Let’s talk. He grimaces. She asks him if it hurts a lot. Not as much as your father, Ferit smiles. He’s not done complaining yet. I think he’ll torment yours at home.
Ferit asks, can I explain? Your father was very angry. I explained everything to him and luckily, he understood. He understood the girl needed help. My grandfather didn’t get angry either. It would be terrible not to help someone who needed it.
My issue isn’t you helping anybody who needs it, Seyran replies, Pelin is not just anybody. Do you think if my father and Halis Aga knew everything that happened since we got married, they wouldn’t be angry? Maybe that’s why they didn’t get angry. Ferit says, whether it’s Pelin or anybody else… it’s a person’s duty to help. He laughs. She doesn’t think it’s funny. If you keep making jokes, I’m leaving. He says he'll keep quiet.
#59 part 7
You didn’t mean for this to happen, Seyran says, but it was inevitable. This happened because you won’t stop seeing her, despite promising. Ferit counters, well, Yusuf is still at the house. I couldn’t stand it at first, but I got used to it over time. I stopped caring. That’s the end of it. I don’t understand why you’re so angry. She stayed over one night as a guest. She’ll find a new place and be gone for good. How can you not help someone who helped you in the past?
That’s not the problem, Seyran says, you need to understand that as long as you keep seeing her, we are going to have the same argument. I need you to listen to me, he replies, she was in danger. I don’t think her problems are any of your business, Seyran snaps back. It’s her family’s business. Ferit says she can’t tell her parents about this. I’m her only option. Seyran asks why.
Ferit has no answer. He grimaces. He’s hurting now. That’s life, Seyran says, it’s the worst luck. For the first time ever, I had my father’s support, and now he’s in the hospital. Ferit laughs. Headbutter Kazim. Your father is a special case. I’m starting to understand. You only figured that now, Seyran asks.
Ferit’s phone rings. He looks at Seyran. Relax, it’s my brother. Ferit takes the call, then tells Seyran that her father can go home. I’ll have to go with my father, she says, my family must be worried. Ferit says, Grandpa will go, too, and so will I. Looks like we’re going together as a family.
They get up from the bench. Slight edit: Ferit asks, maybe you could walk slower? It’s hurting me. Yes, and who’s to blame for that, she replies. She starts walking. Okay, he says, you go… I’ll catch up. Ahh, I didn’t take a painkiller. What do you want me to do, she asks, carry you on my back?
Ferit suggests, maybe you could… take my arm and help me walk? Seyran rolls her head. Are you going to help me, he asks. She takes his arm. Ferit smiles. They start to walk. Ferit presses his luck. Seyran? Can I give you a kiss? Just walk, Ferit, she says. Please let me kiss you, he asks. She asks, are you drunk? No, he says, nothing like that. I just want to kiss you, my wife. Seyran stares straight ahead. Ferit asks again, can I kiss you?
And we are out.
