Howdy from the Alamo City CarayCaray Family. How's everyone enjoying the 2026 FIFA World Cup matchups?
Steve, I am over the moon about the U.S. team. And completely amazed by Lionel Messi. Still dealing with left hand issues, so I won't say much. Hunting and pecking is no fun at all.
World Cup is great. Recapping has taken a bit of a backseat. Sorry about that. I agree, the US looks good, but they haven't had a real test yet. The competition for the golden boot is exciting.
On another note, novelera, I saw your Warriors took a Michigan player, Yaxel Lendeborg, in the NBA draft. This kid can do it all. Big Ten Player of the Year. Key in winning the Natty.
#68 part 1
Ferit asks Orhan, did something happen that I don’t know about? Fuat said something at dinner, Orhan replies, and your grandfather reacted strongly. You know how he is. Ferit asks, does this have anything to do with me? I realize my brother does not want me at the company. Orhan says it has nothing to do with him. Your brother wants grandpa to notice him. Grandpa has ignored him for a long time. He was going to explode at some point. It happened.
What are we going to do, Ferit asks, he said he’s getting divorced. Is this his way of getting noticed? Of course not, Orhan says, you’ll have to be patient with your brother. Fuat will need your support. Ferit tells his dad not to worry about that. He gets a text from Seyran. Asuman will stay in the guest room tonight. Ferit says goodnight and Orhan stays with Fuat.
Kazim is set up on the couch doing some business calculations. Esme brings him a coffee. She’s in white nightgown and robe. She seems pleased to serve him. [I don’t want to think about what might have happened after their romantic dinner.] He looks up at her and is spooked. Why are you walking around like a ghost? She looks disappointed. But he does compliment her on the coffee.
Hattuc arrives home. Esme opens the door for her. They exchange greetings and knowing smiles. [don’t think about it, dondi] Hattuc asks if Kazim went to bed. Kazim pipes up, no… I’m not sleeping! I couldn’t go to bed without seeing you. Tell me, what happened? What did he say?
I spoke to him about the business, Hattuc says. I was about to tell him more about this opportunity, and he said you should go to the office and speak to him yourself. You could have an office. Kazim answers, see? What did I say? He realized my business acumen. He knows can come from this mind [lol], and he wants to take advantage. I told you, didn’t I?
Hattuc excuses herself for bed. She says Halis Ağa will handle everything. Kazim starts talking to himself. We gave them Seyran and we got land. But he should know this, until that building goes up, I won’t give you to that Halis Ağa. Bilesin.
Ferit goes up to the bedroom. Seyran is sitting in bed. He asks, how are things? Things aren’t looking good for us, she replies, you already know. Asuman says she wants to leave here. And you? Ferit sits on the bed. My brother is in bad shape. He passed out.
Seyran wonders if this is all about having children. I don’t know, Ferit replies, my grandpa was very hard on him at dinner. That could be the reason. Seyran says that Asuman mentioned it and she notes that grandpa has been a lot tougher lately. Ferit snarks, really, I wonder why. Seyran doesn’t pick up on his meaning. He explains, it’s not just because of what I did. Don’t you think it might be because you exposed the family’s lies?
Seyran replies, I wasn’t trying to expose the lies. I was just defending my rights. Ferit takes her hand. I’m right on some points, too, Seyran. Isn’t it so? There are none, she says and pulls her hand away and sits back. Ferit is annoyed and asks, I wonder how long this will continue? He goes to get a change of clothes. Seyran asks, what did you say, I don’t understand.
I’ll repeat, Ferit answers, tell me how long this will continue? Seyran asks, and what will you do? Get drunk like your brother and shout about divorce? No, he replies, I won’t do what my brother did. First, I’ll get divorced, and then I’ll shout about it. Seyran thinks about that statement.
In the morning, Ferit is stretching out in the open door to the balcony. Seyran wakes up because of the cold air coming in. he tells him to close the door. He tells her, I thought, let’s get some fresh air first thing in the morning. But this doesn’t suit you either. Oh, yes, she replies, I must not be very normal. It seems strange that you’d open the door in this weather at this time of day.
#68 part 2
Ferit smiles and asks, so, you are cold? Those thick blankets don’t keep you warm? Don’t worry, canım karım. I’ll warm you up now, move over. He lifts the bedding and starts to slide in next to her. Move, girl. Come here. She slides away. He moves closer. Seyran… She protests—Ferit! Stop! This continues until she exits the bed on the other side.
Ferit complains, I’ve got a lot of energy, and I haven’t been to the gym lately. Put your energy into your work, Seyran answers. He grumbles, keep it up, you don’t have to get so smart. They’ll give you a medal. I hope they do, she replies.
Latif comes to the door. Halis wants to see Seyran before going to work. Ferit asks why. Latif doesn’t know. Seyran says she’ll come. Ferit is concerned. He asks Seyran, why would grandpa want to talk to you so early? If it’s about yesterday, what does it have to do with you? Seyro has no idea. She’ll get dressed and go. He warns, look, pembiş [pinky, she’s wearing all pink] if you complain about me, I’ll complain about you, too. She ignores him and enters the bathroom. He calls out, hello… do you hear me?
Seyran enters Halis’ room. You asked to see me? There are things I need to discuss with you, he says, sit. Last night, after I went to bed, something unpleasant happened in the house. I pretended I didn’t hear. I’d rather not have found out, but there’s something that greatly upset me. Is it true that Asuman and Fuat are discussing divorce?
Seyran answers, it’s unfortunately what they said last night. They were very angry. Yes, Halis replies, you say such things in a fit of anger and then you forget. But once the family hears about it, it’s hard to go back. Seyran agrees.
Halis says, even if you’re not the same aga as Asuman, keep in mind she has no one to talk to. I think you should talk to her. And her husband… Fuat has been grumpy since childhood. He never let anyone get close to him. I have a request. Just how you defended your own marriage, you should defend Asuman and Fuat’s. Talk to your husband and find a way to help them reconcile before it’s too late.
Seyran hesitates, of course, we will, efendim… but… Halis interrupts, no buts. Do what it takes. You have my permission. Do all you can. My word is your word. Look, I know I should be talking to them both now, but they don’t just need to be told. They need to be able to tell someone themselves and be understood. Seyran says not to worry and leaves.
Ferit is lurking outside of grandpa’s room. He asks Seyran what happened. What did you talk about? He heard what happened last night, she replies. Ferit sighs, oh, Latif Bey, he’s driving me crazy! So, why did he call you? Seyran says, keep it between us, he said “help them reconcile.” Ferit asks, who does he mean? She answers, he wants us to do it together. He says do what you want, but help them. Ferit notes, they are adults. How can we do it?
Seyran is surprised, Allah, Allah… these are not the words of Ferit Korhan. What happened to the Ferit who solves everything? Or don’t you want them to reconcile? What does that have to do with anything, he replies, that’s not what I’m saying. They are adults who have decided to divorce. I don’t understand why we should intervene. It’s odd.
Congratulations, Seyran says, you didn’t understand. Good for you. I’ll take care of it. You can await my news. Ferit answers, excuse me? That’s your specialty of course. She wonders—my specialty? Ferit explains, I learn something new, and later, I will teach it to you. Take an example from me. Take it.
#68 part 3
Seyran answers, I’ll take a lot more from you. Hmmm, Ferit says with a specific thing on his mind—I know you’ll take it… don’t be late… okay? Act fast. Give and take… give and take… She realizes what he means and she jumps on him. He gets her off his back and pins her against the wall. [stupid placement of commercial break.] Ferit zeroes in on her. He whispers, I’ll assess the situation, but first you… She gives him a little slap and runs. He rubs his cheek and says, stupid!
Ferit gets over that fast. He bops down the staircase and meets up with his brother at the door. How are you, abi? I’m okay, not bad, Fuat replies, how is the situation in the house? Same as you left it last night, Ferit says. Fuat thinks grandpa must have heard him shouting. Ah, so you remember, Ferit answers, then you remember you hit me. Fuat apologizes. Ferit says, don’t worry and the brothers hug.
Ferit asks his bro if he spoke to Asuman. No, Fuat says, she’s not in the room. Ferit tells him she stayed in the guest room and notes that Fuat couldn’t do much talking last night anyway. Fuat asks again if grandpa heard him. Ferit says, yes, Latif probably told him. It’s a miracle he waited until morning. Fuat expects that grandpa will have something to say. Ferit agrees but tells his bro not to worry, it won’t hurt. Ferit jokes, it won’t be like hitting your brother. He gives Fuat a shove with his shoulder. Fuat gives one back to Ferit.
Kazim comes downstairs complaining that the stairs make him tired. He wishes there was an elevator. Hattuc is downstairs waiting. He spins around and asks, well, auntie, how do you like me? No comment from Hattuc. Kazim calls out—Esme! Bring my coat! Hattuc says, I told you to talk to him, but not first thing in the morning! This isn’t the way to do it.
This is how work is, Kazim explains, you can never trust the Korhans. Halis Aga threw us out when he felt like it, don’t you remember? Hattuc snaps back, it was a decision made in anger. That topic is closed. Kazim says it will never be closed. It didn’t close and never will. Not until I say so. Let Halis Aga underestimate us. Let him think we’re wrong. Let him see my mistakes. My mistakes will pass but I assure you, they will overshadow all his achievements.
Why don’t you let this stupid competition go, Hattuc asks. I assure you that no one has the slightest interest in competing with you now. But they don’t know what I’m about to become, Kazim replies, you’ll see. Esme brings his coat. Kazim continues, look, our girl has her husband eating from the palm of her hand. If she gives them a grandson, she’ll be the lady of the mansion, and let’s see how business goes for our damat. I want to see with my own eyes if he’s rising or falling at work.
Why do you care about his issues, Hattuc asks, just focus on yours! Do you think I’m doing this just for my business, Kazim replies, I’ve got a foot in the door at that company. I will look after you with one hand and my daughters and damat with the other hand and foot. Is that clear? Kazim turns and looks at Esme. He’s not pleased. He motions his displeasure to Hattuc and then turns back to Esme. Your whole wardrobe. Your shoes, skirt, blouse, cardigan, even your socks… burn them! Throw them in the fire and burn them! Move!
Kazim leaves and Esme exhales and then exclaims, Oh, thank God! Thank God! Hattuc asks why are you so grateful? Esme replies, Auntie, he’s been sitting with us since we arrived from Antep. He’ll be busy now. Let him leave early and come back late. Hattuc understands but adds that Kazim seems way too ambitious. If he fails, he’ll come back and torment us.
#68 part 4
Esme thinks that Kazim has changed a bit. Do you think he’ll be like before? Hattuc responds, they say old habits never die, but they also say that the morning is wiser than the evening. Let’s think about the good, so that it turns out fine. Inshallah.
May Allah be pleased with you, my aunt, Esme says, you started protecting us. Hattuc replies, and I am very guilty, daughter. I did what I saw in my mother and father’s house. I never thought if it was right or wrong. Sometimes you only notice much later. From now on, you can trust me. I will be by your side for as long as I can. Esme has tears of happiness and thanks Hattuc. She kisses her hand. Hattuc places her hand on Esme’s cheek.
Fuat, Orhan, and Ferit wait outside the van for Halis to come. Edit: as Halis approaches, Orhan says to Fuat, if he says anything, ignore it. Don’t upset yourself. Fuat nods. Orhan greets Halis with good morning. It’s tense. Halis stops in front of Fuat and gives him a look but says nothing. Then he stops before getting in the van and asks Fuat to help him. Tension is broken. Fuat helps Halis into the van and pats the seat next to him for Fuat to sit.
The ladies have breakfast. Gulgun says to Ifakat, I don’t feel comfortable at all. Can you talk to father? I don’t get involved in those issues anymore, Ifakat replies, talk to Latif Bey or Seyran. Gulgun asks, why Seyran? She spoke to Ağam this morning, Ifakat says, didn’t she tell you? Gulgun asks Seyran what they spoke about.
Seyran says Halis is worried about Asuman and Fuat. He asked me to talk with Ferit. Gulgun wishes Halis would have spoken with her and Orhan. Ifakat snarks, I think we’ve been replaced, dear. Latif comes to the table and tells Gulgun that Asuman is packing her things. She called for her car keys. Gulgun and Seyran quickly leave the table.
Ifakat signals for the staff to leave. And that leaves Suna alone with Ifakat. I think you should talk to your sister, Ifakat tells her. She shouldn’t involve herself so much. Everyone makes their own decisions, don’t you think? Suna doesn’t know what to say. Ifakat continues, just how Seyran can go whenever she wants, Asuman can too. She should do it now. Besides, it would make Fuat’s life easier.
What do you mean, Suna asks. Fuat won’t run after his wife like Ferit does, Ifakat replies, he will create a new family for himself. He will find a wife like you, calm, educated, obedient. Suitable for our family and marry her. They will be very happy, especially if they have a child. And of course, we’d make our DIL very happy. Suna looks uneasy. She says, but if they really do love each other, it’s best they reconcile.
Ifakat quickly responds, it’s not good for anyone, especially you. Have you ever wondered why I work so hard to guarantee your future? Why you have a room in this house? Clothes in the closet? All the Korhan family possibilities in your reach? Why is that? You were the person who was supposed to be the lady of this house after me. I chose you, but I made one mistake. Ferit wasn’t the right man for you. There is someone right for you. Then she adds, well, he’s about to be. Ifakat leaves the table. Suna is upset.
Gulgun and Seyran try to reason with Asuman while she packs. Seyran asks her, what are you going to do? Where will you go? I’ll take a few days to calm down, Asuman replies, I can’t do that here. Gulgun says she can’t go by herself, they will worry. Asuman says, if I stay, Fuat and I will keep hurting each other.
#68 part 5
Seyran suggests they go together. My sister and I will go. We can talk woman to woman, confide in each other. It would be good for me, too. Asuman continues to pack. Seyran continues to make her case—we could share our problems, it’s a good idea. Gulgun likes that. Asuman isn’t so sure. You don’t need to hear my complaints. Seyran says Halis knows, she spoke to him this morning. If we go out for a few days, we can solve this. I’ll talk to Ferit, okay? Don’t worry.
Asuman sighs and sits on the bed. Gulgun says she’s speaking from experience, she’s been through this. It was very painful and she didn’t have anyone to talk to. At least you’re lucky enough to share it with someone. After you talk, you’ll relax. The easiest thing to do now is to give up. Don’t do it. You’ve got an opportunity. Go, calm down, think about it. Asuman says alright. But she wants to leave right away.
Kazim shows up at the Korhan company. He’s impressed. He is greeted at reception. Thank you, he replies, I am Halis Korhan’s in-law. Where is his office? What floor? The woman is surprised—his in-law? I’m sorry, I don’t understand. What don’t you understand, Kazim says, I’m his in-law. Don’t you know what that is? I see they taught you public relations but not family relations. Write, write it down somewhere, here’s a lesson from me to you. In the workplace, family relations are more important than public relations, bilesin.
Kazim takes out his phone. He mutters, generation X, Y, Z… you don’t even know what an in-law is. Wait, wait. He calls Orhan. Hello, brother… I’m in your building right now. Orhan is surprised. I came to visit you at your office, Kazim says, but there’s a girl here who doesn’t know who I am. Orhan tells him someone will come to meet him. Kazim says to the receptionist, you see? These are the family ties.
Orhan tells Betul to go to the lobby. We have an important guest. Ferit’s FIL, Kazim Bey. Bring him up here.
Ferit gets a call from “Sadik Bey.” He tries to find an excuse to leave so he can take the call. Sadik says he’s missing some information and tells Ferit to ask Betul. Ferit takes the call in the hallway. It’s not Pelin calling, it’s Pelin’s mother, Zerrin. We have to talk, she tells Ferit. He asks, is Pelin okay? She replies, you have the nerve to ask? Pelin sighs in the background. Ferit doesn’t understand what’s going on.
Of course, Zerrin replies, if you understood, you wouldn’t be speaking so calmly. There would be at least a little shame in your voice. Ferit says, okay, we can talk. Zerrin says she’ll call him in a couple of hours and send the location. Pelin is upset.
Ferit sees Betul in the hallway and sends her to Sadik. She tells him that Kazim has come. He’s in Halis’ office. Ferit looks uneasy. [Probably the combo of Zerrin and Kazim]
Pelin cries. Zerrin rips into her. Pelin, can you control yourself? Why are you crying? You’re a loser! Pelin says she’s so ashamed. What are you going to say to Ferit? I know you’re ashamed, Zerrin replies, but I didn’t cause this, they did! They might have thought you had no one, but I will make them answer for all of this! They don’t know what it’s like, having a daughter, but I assure you, after what I’ll do to them, they’ll understand.
Kazim meets with Halis and Orhan, who try to hide their irritation. Kazim asks them, what do you think? Orhan says, we should proceed carefully. Yes, Kazim replies, it’s true, thanks to Halis Aga. This is a very valuable piece of land. But, sir, it’s just sitting there idle. Tell me, how can we add value to that land?
#68 part 6
Halis exhales. That’s not something we participate in directly, he says, but we have a few friends and associates. We can put you in touch with them. You can’t start a business with people you don’t know. Kazim says okay, but he doesn’t know where he’ll do that. Halis says that Orhan will prepare an office at the company for him. You can handle your work here. And you can interview the necessary people. Cara impactada de Orhan.
Kazim is thrilled. He exclaims, may Allah be pleased with you! You are a great man, Ağa! He rushes to kiss Halis’ hand. Halis shoos him away—no need, no need. [lol, Halis and Orhan can barely contain their disgust.] Orhan reluctantly says he will handle everything. Kazim thinks this is wonderful. Ağa, I know everyone in Antep and everyone knows me, but it’s different here. Who cares who Kazim Sanli is here? [yes, who cares.]
They will know you in time, Kazim Bey, Orhan replies. I’m sure anyone who meets you won’t forget you. [lol, Halis gets Orhan’s sardonic meaning but Kazim doesn’t.] Kazim wants to give credit to Fuat because he was the one who found the land. He’d like to have him handle this project. Halis gives the okay. [is this a punishment for Fuat?]
Ferit comes to Halis’ office. He heard Kazim was there and wanted to greet him. Kazim gives him the good news. We will be seeing each other a lot more. Ferit gives his dad a quick look and asks Kazim why is that? Kazim tells him he will start doing business there. He adds, you can invite me to your office for coffee. Ferit smiles and says this is the best news he’s heard in a long time. Then he turns and makes a wtf face at Orhan. Ferit’s phone buzzes and he excuses himself to take a call from Seyran.
We see that Seyran is packing while talking. Suna is with her. She fills him in. He says he’ll try to convince his brother. He thinks it will be harder to convince grandpa. We don’t hear but I suppose Seyran tells him that Halis will be on board with whatever they want. Ferit is delighted. He runs down the hallway and takes a jump to hit the exit sign. He slips and almost falls on the landing.
Suna questions Seyran’s plan. Will it be a problem? Seyran says Halis Aga gave her a blank check to do what she wants. Suna asks, do you think it’s right to interfere? This isn’t interference, Seyran replies, we’re just trying to stop them from making the wrong decision. And it will be good for all of us to get away for a bit. Suna isn’t sure that she should go. She’s not really friends with Asuman. Seyran says that’s nonsense. The trip will be good for you, too.
Ferit finds Fuat waiting in Orhan’s office. Ferit tells him he’s in with Halis and they are meeting with Kazim. Ah, Fuat says, then we should stay far away. Exactly, Ferit answers, that’s why I came to kidnap you. Fuat asks, where are we going? The three of us are going to have fun, Ferit replies, Abidin, you, and me. Come on.
Fuat is taken aback—you want to go out drinking now? Ferit says, we’ll relax. Take the day off. I know the last few days have been hard. We should relax, so we will. We’ll have a little fun. What do you say? Fuat thinks it over and agrees. He’s really not in the mood to work anyway.
Slight edit here: Efe is at Defne’s house and he’s furious. They are openly mocking me, he shouts. She asks him if he’s taking a big loss of money. He fires back—it’s not about the money, Defne! Defne replies, if Seyran doesn’t want to do this, there’s nothing we can do about it. Better this happened early. At least we didn’t announce it…
#68 part 7
Efe interrupts, that’s where we made a mistake! We lost time, but it’s not too late. What are you saying, she asks. This isn’t a child’s game, he replies, if they want a crisis, we’ll give them one! Let the whole world know that family! Let everyone know they keep that poor girl locked up in that house under the family’s pressure!
Defne says, Seyran rebelled against them, so that story isn’t true. Efe snaps back, we’ll make it look real! Defne says she doesn’t want to get involved. Efe grabs her—you will get involved! You can’t stay on the side. This will affect our relationship! He threatens, don’t make me take this out on you! Pray that I take it out on the Korhans and not on you!
Defne tells him to calm down and she’ll speak to Seyran. Then we’ll see… Efe explodes, no, no, there’s no “then”, Defne! If you want to do something, talk to her family and convince them! I’m not responsible for what will happen. On his way out, he knocks a glass off the table, and it shatters on the floor.
Edit: Gulgun walks the girls out to the car. She says to Asuman, you haven’t been driving for a long time, are you sure you’ll be okay? We will be out of the city soon, Asuman replies, the roads will be open. Don’t worry. Okay, be careful, Gulgun says, call me when you arrive. Gulgun gets a text from Defne: we urgently need to talk. Are you home? Gulgun wonders what this is about. When she turns, she sees Ifakat watching from a window above.
Edit: Pelin and her mom are shopping for clothes, or rather, Zerrin is choosing all the clothes and telling Pelin she’s buying them for her. She also tells Pelin to contact “her friend” and tell him to meet us. Pelin obeys.
Abidin drives Ferit and Fuat to their destination. Fuat begins to worry. He thinks he should have told Asuman what they’re doing. He asks Ferit, did you tell Seyran? Ferit says, I told her, don’t worry. And you don’t have to tell Asuman. Relax, it’s fine. Fuat asks, when will we be back home? We won’t be back, Ferit replies, we’re taking the whole day off.
Fuat says he’s not okay with this. He wants to tell Asuman. Ferit tries to talk him out of it. Weren’t you fighting? You’re not on good terms. Let’s just go out and relax. Fuat says he’s always made a habit of informing Asuman. He doesn’t want to upset her. [more than she is already, I guess.]
Ferit receives the text from Pelin: My mother and I are shopping in Istinye, why don’t you come. He texts back: unfortunately, there’s a lot of work at the office. I can’t leave. You know how Grandpa is. Tell your mother I’m sorry. Edit: Ferit tells Abi to put on some music to lighten things up.
Meanwhile, the girls are having fun on their drive. They have the radio on. Asuman hits a spot and slightly skids. Seyran spills her drink, but it’s all good. I can’t tell you how good it feels to get out of that house, Asuman says. The others agree. Seyran is still wiping up from the spill. Asuman apologizes again and briefly takes her eyes off the road. She swerves a bit towards the opposite lane, close to an oncoming van. She swerves back, loses control, and the car goes off the road.
#68 part 8
Back to mother daughter shopping. Pelin tries to call Ferit. He doesn’t answer. Pelin wishes her mother would drop this. If he doesn’t want to come, that’s fine. Zerrin sends the salespeople away. She tells Pelo, you lost Ferit because you’ve always acted like an idiot. Please don’t start, Pelo answers, we can talk about this at home.
Zerrin assures her they will talk at home. They have to give you back the dignity you lost, and I won’t stop insisting. Don’t you understand, Pelo says, I don’t want to be stressed or sad. That’s enough. He’s busy, he didn’t want to come, it doesn’t matter! Besides, tell me, what were you going to do?
Zerrin tells Pelin to shut up. We left you alone for far too long. That’s why this happened. It’s our fault. So now I’ll be the one deciding when and where this topic ends, understood?
And we are out.
Loving the Copa Mundial. Loved the Dutch fans in Houston, enjoying so many teams! Messi is unique!!! So much fun seeing all these stadiums! I lived in Mexico City when Estadio Azteca was built!
I get overwhelmed with all the great games.
Colombia just scored as I’m writing this!!! So exciting! Love James, and Luis Diaz! …
Re golden:
I haven’t watched 68. But, I’ll do so and work on 69. I will aim for the second page posting this week, Thursday night.
Babachita
Thank you, Dondi! In episode 68, I got so annoyed at Asuman being railroaded into divorce. Ifakat already has Suna in waiting. Very annoying! Suna isn’t interested in Fuat, but the dangled possibility of being the lady of the house might be persuasive! I thought the three couples were going to meet but now we have a car crash!
Ferit and Seyran are fun to watch. She never lets him take control, but he tries again and again! Pelin’s mother makes me nervous. She is taking control there.
Loved Kazim getting an office. The Korhans are less than excited! Kazim feigned surprise very deftly! I laughed that he wants Esme to throw out her clothes. But, will he pay for new ones? They’ll have to be blue!!!
I’ll get 69 done by Thursday evening.
Babachita
Thanks Dondi. I've been waiting for Zerrin to be mentioned so I can comment. Casting did a great job choosing an actress that actually looks like she could be Pelin's mother.
I am typing! It's not perfect but I can sorta use the pinky now.
I am liking Orhan a bit more lately, especially his concern for Fuat. And it seemed in this episode that Ferit forgave his father a bit when they spoke beside the sleeping Fuat.
Amen about not wanting to think about Kazim and Esme. It still amazes me that she has any feelings for him at all.
There were a couple of nice familial bonding scenes. I liked seeing Ferit and Fuat expressing affection. And also enjoyed Hattuc loosening up and seeming to say that it was her rigid upbringing that made her bully Esme all the time.
"Anyone who meets you would remember you." Perfect. Kazim's bottomless self-regard would cause that to slip right by him. And Halis knew that.
Oh boy, we were right to worry about Efe. I had hoped that part of the plot had gone away.
Yes, dondi, I read today about Yaxel. I don't follow college basketball that much, except for the Stanford women, so I hadn't heard of him. Sounds like a good choice. Interesting that he chose basketball. It seems all the Dominicans want to play baseball!
