TELEMUNDO Y MÁS (#1): Celia, Bajo El Mismo Cielo, Eva La Trailera, La Querida del Centauro, and Fatmagul: Week of January 25, 2016
The NEW and IMPROVED Telemundo page is now issued twice a week: Mondays at 3PM and Thursdays at 8PM. This is the place for discussion of Celia, Bajo el Mismo Cielo, La Querida del Centauro, Fatmagul, and the newest addition to Telemundo's offerings, Eva La Trailera. Eva debuts at 9PM this Tuesday, January 26, replacing Bajo el Mismo Cielo, whose gran final airs this Monday, January 25.
The Telemundo website contains a short synopsis in Spanish of Eva La Trailera along with photos of cast members and videos. The Latin Times offers an English-language synopsis and information about the cast. Among the principal cast members are Edith González (who starred in "Doña Bárbara"), Jorge Luis Pila ("En Otra Piel"), Arap Bethke ("Señora Acero"), and Erika de la Rosa, whom some of us know as Felicia in "Bajo el Mismo Cielo").

TELEMUNDO Y MÁS (#1): Celia, Bajo el Mismo Cielo, La Querida del Centauro, and Fatmagul,: Week of January 18, 2016
The NEW & IMPROVED Telemundo page is now brought to you twice a week in order to provide seamless coverage. No more lost comments! Just remember to look for the new page. We'll start off each week on Mondays at 3PM and then the "Weekend Edition" will appear on Thursdays at 8PM.
Here's this week's kick-off page for Telemundo fans, and the lineup is:
8PM—Celia now in últimos capitulos,
9PM—Bajo el Mismo Cielo with only 6 episodes remaining (el último will be Mon. Jan 25th, to be replaced by Eva la Trailera on the 26th)

Hola Telemundians. Here is this week's page for discussion of Celia, Bajo el Mismo Cielo, Señora Acero, Fatmagul, and the newest addition to Telemundo's offerings, La Querida del Centauro. Señora Acero's final episode airs this Monday; beginning Tuesday, La Querida del Centauro will appear in the same time slot. A quick plot summary from Sara: "It's about some badass female that is sent to a maximum security prison for males. There she and a drug lord start a relationship." TELEMUNDO Y MÁS: Celia, Bajo el Mismo Cielo, Señora Acero, and Fatmagul: Week of January 4, 2016
Thanks to all who have been carefully tracking our proximas. I was all set to make a definitive announcement about Eva, la trailera. However, I have it on the best authority that the Jan 26th date is still uncertain (kudos to deb & sara for staying on top of this). Here's this week's page for discussion of Celia, Bajo el Mismo Cielo, Señora Acero, and Fatmagul. Señora Acero is now in últimos capítulos and will end in two weeks (Monday, January 11). Beginning the next day (January 12) will be La Querida del Centauro, starring Humberto Zurita, Ludwika Paleta, and Michel Brown, among others. More information about this upcoming novela can be found on Telemundo's web site . Bajo el Mismo Cielo is in últimas semanas, with all kinds of issues to be resolved (or not) in the next few weeks. TELEMUNDO Y MÁS: Celia, Bajo el Mismo Cielo, and Fatmagul: Week of December 21, 2015
What a week ahead! It starts with the solstice and ends with Xmas. Señora Acero continues in Ultimas—It's got about 3 weeks to go. Celia will air capitulo #49 tonight; I've not been following this, although my neighbors all tell me I should. Fatmagul continues with great recaps & commentary by Caray followers on our page. And Bajo el Mismo Cielo is unstoppable. Here is where we appreciate the difference between Ultimas (semanas) and Ultimos (capitulos). I'm not entirely clear how they've designated these episodes we're watching.
Going forward, Juanita and I will be posting the new Telemundo page for each week at 3PM EST every Monday. Please join in with your comments and don't forget to add your signature (it can be anything—but please not the default "anonymous") so that people can respond to you And please specify which show you are commenting about—because here on the Telemundo page, we are all clumped together and this helps to keep things sorted out.

OK, Telemundo fans. Here's this week's page for discussion of Celia, Bajo el Mismo Cielo, Señora Acero, and Fatmagul. Both Señora Acero and Bajo el Mismo Cielo are now in últimas semanas. There are published reports that Señora will end on January 11. Replacing it on Tuesday, January 12, will be a new telenovela, La querida del Centauro. More about that as the time draws closer. Telemundo has started to post quick peeks as well for another new novela, Eva, la Trailera. It's possible that this may replace Bajo. In the meantime, everyone is encouraged to join in the discussion of the current offerings. As of this week, the Telemundo y Más page has some new folks in charge. This has already been graciously announced on the ¿Qué nos cuenta, Caray, Caray? page, so I'll just quote a bit from there: Since the end of El Clon, Jean and Novela Maven have devoted five fabulous years of work to maintaining a space for discussion of Telemundo's telenovelas (and those on other networks as well). This week, they are handing the reins over to LXV and Juanita to carry on the tradition. Muchísimas gracias to Jean and NovelaMaven for their invaluable work. They're a hard act to follow, but LXV and I will try our best.

Dear Friends:
After five years and many amazing conversations in this space, Jean and I have decided to give someone else a turn at hosting the discussion. Lately, we've been more or less absentee landlords around here and we think you deserve better.
Is a separate Telemundo page still necessary? We're not sure because:
- Telemundo novelas are now included in Diva's weekly update, ¿Qué nos cuenta, CarayCaray?
- While daily recaps are still the mainstay of CarayCaray, now some Univisión novelas are covered by weekly posts with abbreviated (or not so abbreviated) recaps in the comment section. See, for example, the page for discussions of La Vecina. Why not separate pages for individual Telemundo novelas too?
Is someone interested in posting a page for Bajo el mismo cielo?
How about Celia? Does she deserve a page of her own?
Or would you rather continue with a single Telemundo y más page?
Important: If you'd like to be involved but you're not on Jane's roster of recappers, you'll have to ask her to add you.
Please don't panic! If we haven't figured it out by next week – and we might not, with Turkey Day and all – I'll put up a new page on November 30.
What do you think? Who'd like to keep this thing going? What format would you prefer? Let's come up with a plan.
