In this week's edition:
Potential pre-emptions continue on Univision--this Friday, they're airing their Telethon, which will affect all the evening shows: Muchacha Italiana Viene A Casarse (7pm), Antes Muerta Que Lichita (8pm), Pasión y Poder (9pm), and Yo No Creo En Los Hombres (10pm). Not every time zone may be affected in the same way. If you missed the later episodes on Yo No Creo En Los Hombres last week, be aware than Thursday was a repeat of Wednesday and no episodes were skipped. See the recent posts for more details. La Vecina (afternoons) is airing all week as scheduled.
On Telemundo, Preciosa Perla has come to an end and a new show, Qué culpa tiene Fatmagül? is replacing it (see Vivi's synopsis in the proximas section). You can find recaps and discussions of this show, along with Celia, Bajo el Mismo Cielo, and Señora Acero 2 on the Telemundo y Más post.
Since the end of El Clon, Jean and Novela Maven have devoted five fabulous years of work to maintaining a space for discussion of Telemundo's telenovelas (and those on other networks as well). Project Gimme Back My Feeds has hit another snag. First the good news. This weekend, we updated the feeds for:

Now the bad news. Our feeds are cutting of at 150 entries. This means anyone attempting to look at the earliest or oldest posts for any show with more than 150 posts won't be able to access them. From chatter in the Help forums for Blogger, this may be a change and not an error. I'm waiting for confirmation that things will stay this way before I implement a fix. I will keep you posted.
As always, if anything looks funky...broken links, something on the sidebar or the pages in mobile not working, etc...please contact me.

Qué culpa tiene Fatmagül? starts this week on Telemundo. Synopsis by Vivi: "It is a tn from Turkey, aired in Turkey in 2010, and dubbed into Spanish. The plot:
Fatmagül (Beren Saat) is a humble, lovely young woman who lives in a coastal village and herds goats with her brother Rahmi. She is engaged to be married to a young fisherman named Mustafá (Fırat Çelik), who is building their house for when they marry. In the town they live in, a marriage ceremony is set to take place between Selim, the son of an influential businessman, and Meltem, the high society daughter of a businessman and politician. During the wedding celebrations, Fatmagül meets Kerim (Engin Akyürek), and he falls in love with her at first sight. Later during the celebrations, Kerim, along with his three friends, the groom, Selim, his cousin Erdoğan, and Vural, get drugged and drunk and encounter Fatmagül. Kerim blacks out, and the other three rape Fatmagül, who passes out. Later, the other three unite to accuse Kerim of the rape, and Kerim and Fatmagül are forced to marry to erase the shame from both of their families. Kerim and Fatmagül must then fight to find the truth of what happened that night, and learn to love and trust each other."

Thank you Diva for all this info. No MIVAC on Friday ? Oh noes, we will go into withdrawals...NOT! Although there might be some chocolate w/drawal. ;-)
Lol, too true, doris! I'm on Mountain time and my listings are showing an early 2-hour block of Pasion y Poder (rerun?) from 5-7pm and then the Telethon starts. It's a live program, if I'm not mistaken, so I don't think we're all going to get the same schedule.
My East Coast schedule shows a 2 hour block of P&P from 7pm-9pm on Friday, before the telethon. No other shows are scheduled for the evening. I don't know if I trust the schedule though. Why two hours of P&P and no other show?
It's the newest one? Maybe they're trying to do something of a catch-up episode? They definitely can't show anything new, since the telethon starts at 6 on the west coast. But goofier things have happened.
Univision has done condensed versions of a telenovela before, when it is popular, trying to hook new viewers into watching and boost the ratings. That might be what the 2-hr P&P is going to be. I might give it a try. I really don't have time for another telenovela, especially with the holidays, but stranger things have happened. ;-)
