La Fea Más Bella #296A 6/15/07 Pure plot
Inspired by his mother's miraculous recovery and his reconciliation with his father, Luigi suddenly sees Lety's inner beauty and decides to integrate the Lety and Aurora sides of her personality through the use of Apple technology and a brand of haircolor that is also sold in the US. The result does not, in my opinion, do justice to Lety, Aurora, or Angelica Vale; plus, I see a wide belt, and I think we agreed that we don't like those. But we know Lety's New-New-New Look is going to knock everybody's socks off, so let's just go with it. Luigi is quite pleased with himself. Waxing philosophical, he challenges Lety to live up to her new look. Lety looks unsure.
Meanwhile, in Acapulco, the restaurant guy wonders aloud why Aldo isn't happier about recuperating his restaurant. Aldo says that in order to be truly happy, he needs his woman. Just then, Aldo's favorite person, Fernando, shows up. Ah, so that's where he was last night... traveling to Acapulco. I, for one, would have felt much better if I could have seen him sitting in his airplane seat, or car, or whatever, making the trip. What, don't tell me I'm the only person who would enjoy watching him sit and read for half an hour? Just to make sure he gets there safely. Doesn't get bitten by a snake or anything.
Apparently, unlike us, Aldo wasn't worried about Fern at all and is not delighted to see him. No matter. Fern says he's here to talk about Lety. Aldo says that Fernando is the last person who should be intervening in his relationship with Lety. Fern interrupts and says Aldo can bore him with his moral superiority later. He wants to explain the story of Aurora that annoyed Aldo so much. It was motivated entirely by the love that Lety feels for Aldo.
Aldo disagrees and thinks that Lety disguised herself for the sole intention of being with Fern. She's in love with Fern. Fern admits that he loves her, but he and Lety were working together strictly as friends to solve the company's problems. He explains that Lety did the Aurora thing to teach Omar a lesson, and then to do the TV show to make the money needed to set herself and Aldo free. Therefore, Fern concludes, Aldo's gotten upset with Lety for no good reason.
Aldo wants to know why Fern is telling him this. Fern says he wanted to keep Aldo away from her and try to win her back for himself.
"Don't choke or strangle me," Fern says, eliciting a reluctant smile from Aldo as he proceeds with the saddest part of his tale. He had found out that Carmina lied when she told Lety that she was going to move in with Aldo. (Aldo scowls when he hears of Carmina's treachery.) Fern admits that he kept this information from Lety so she'd continue being mad at Aldo; and then he proposed marriage to her, but she refused. (Aldo smiles to himself triumphantly.) Fern says that the only thing he wants is for Lety to be happy.
Aldo says he can see that Fern's very much in love with Lety. Fern says yes, but the only way Lety can be happy is to be at Aldo's side. Aldo thanks him and says the Flavor of Life restaurant is reopening tonight... and it'd be a great honor if Fern would be the godfather (I guess he means "guest of honor"). Fern smiles and happily agrees. Thus is the strange phenomenon of male bonding.
In the Vortex of Stupidity
Luigi fans out his jacket to hide Lety standing behind him. He greets the cuartel as lovely arampaguilas (not in my dictionary) and makes a little announcement about the new Leticia Padilla Solis. He stands aside to let them see. The cuartel exclaims happily at what, I believe, is the fourth incarnation of Lety. (Regular Lety, the scary green New Lety, Aurora, and now this one makes four.) Ah, her hair color looks better in this light. She answers them in her regular Lety voice.
Luigi beams with pride. Caro rushes over with admiration and hugs. Omar awkwardly indicates his approval as well.
In the Delta of Doom
Alibubis is on the phone with Papi in Tomas's office. She says she's got a conflict: she can get rich in the open-and-close of an eye (funny, there's a Spanish word for "blink," but she doesn't use it), but... she's not sure. (She doesn't mention that grand larceny is involved.) She pauses, then happily agrees that these opportunities aren't frequent and she should take advantage. She makes kissy noises at the phone and tells her father that she loves him and misses him. She hangs up and sits at Tomas's computer. She wonders which account she should transfer the money to. She thinks maybe the Swiss bank account her ex set up for her years ago. He left her without a penny, but he never canceled the account. She says to herself, Ay Mauricio Birmann, for the first time in your life you did something good. She's going to buy herself an airplane... that is, a ticket... before she can do the transfer, so how's she going to pay for the ticket? (I guess she's saying she needs to be in Switzerland in order to do the transfer, because she only just now decided which account to put it in, and she doesn't do any typing in this scene.)
She needs a credit card, so she looks through Tomas's wallet (praising his generosity all the while, of course), where she finds and admires more photos of herself. She finds the card she wants, but Tomas comes back before she has a chance to carry out her plan. She hurriedly stuffs the card into her dress and claims that she's thinking, as she sometimes does, from time to time. She asks if he ever feels like thinking. She asks him for the phone and says she's going to the doctor, and that she'll see Tomas at home tonight.
Tomas gets up and excitedly offers to go to the doctor with her. She hurries out, saying, nope, sorry, no can do, bye! He calls after her to take care of their little baby.
Who invited all these people to my house??
Julieta answers the door and a big parade comes in: Marcia, Luigi, Caro, Omar, the cuartel... RoboPop wants to know what they're all doing there. Luigi says they've brought a big surprise. RoboPop, the big grouch, says he doesn't know what Luigi's talking about; better yet, why don't they leave and take their surprise with them.
Jeez! What is up with RoboPop! This is way grouchy even for him. They tell him he's going to regret it, and that it's a very pretty surprise. Lety steps forward and says she's the surprise. RoboPop approves! Julieta approves! Then RoboPop says she'd better not be playing with this look, the way she did as Aurora. She says nope, this is how she's going to be forever. She feels good about herself, inside and outside. She understands now that everyone can attain their beauty.
Everyone (including Lety and her parents) claps. Luigi leads them in a cheer. Wheeee, there's Celso! Now my evening is complete. :-) Lety puts her hand to her lips and giggles.
Lety and Julieta go to Lety's room to chat. Before they can say anything of importance, RoboPop joins in, wanting an explanation. (Moty comes in too, but doesn't cause any trouble.) Lety says that she's going to tell her mom some of the things she's learned about herself. "Woman things," she elaborates, showing him to the door. Julieta giggles.
Now that Erasmo's gone and the door's closed, Lety admits that that's not really what she had in mind. She whips out her makeup kit and waves some tweezers at her mother. She says her mom's going to stop being a "cejijunta" (unibrow) and bigotona (whiskered lady). "Me?" Julieta asks, perplexed.
After a long wait, RoboPop gets impatient and asks what they're up to. Lety tells him to close his eyes. He resists; Lety tells him that if he doesn't, Mom won't come downstairs. He complies, and Mom comes down. Lety tells him to look. He doesn't seem thrilled.
"I told you he'd be upset," Julieta says. He doesn't say much, but he doesn't seem happy. She is wearing some makeup and her eyebrows are plucked and her hair is different; it's actually the absence of the glasses that surprises me the most. RoboPop takes her hands and says that he married the most beautiful woman in existence. He then invites her for a second honeymoon. Julieta seems tempted, but wonders about their daughter. Lety assures them that she's grown up now. Erasmo agrees that Lety is a woman "hecha y derecha" (made and right, i.e. grown up right). Lety says it's a good chance for them to go to Acapulco. He tells Julieta they can go whenever she wants. She wants to start planning right now.
Lety tells herself she just needs Aldo to be happy, truly happy.
At the Love Shack
Alicia is telling someone on the phone that she needs a plane to Switzerland tomorrow... yes, she agrees with the travel agent, she needs a ticket. She needs to deposit a lot of money into her account in a hurry. (Yeah, I'm sure that doesn't sound suspicious to the airline people at all.) She tells the travel agent that she just wants one ticket. In first class, of course.
She reaches for a pen and drops the phone. (Ad-libbing, she asks the person on the phone if he's okay.) She writes down the particulars of her flight and promises to be there tomorrow to get her airplane... yes, she agrees with the travel agent, her ticket. She says she'll pay with her husband's credit card.
Later, she is packing her things to go to Switzerland and be rich and free. She won't need anyone. She's just going to bring the important things (which evidently includes her lucky red nightgown); everything else, she'll buy new.
Tomas gets home, and why not; he lives there. He wants to know what the doctor said. "Nothing," she says, which doesn't exactly distract him. He notices the suitcase. Thinking fast, she says she's going on a trip, for her "treatment." Because her doctor moved to Culican.
Even Tomas doesn't fall for this one. He says that's absurd, and begins unpacking her bag. He says they'll find another doctor. She starts repacking and says this doctor is very good, and anyway, she'll definitely come back, so don't worry.
He asks when she's leaving. In a sudden fit of what appears to be cold feet, she sadly says it's tomorrow afternoon. He wants to go with her, but he's got too much work, has to prepare for the Big Meeting. (Yikes, I just realized it's been six months!) He sits at her feet and says he'll miss her. "Ay, Tomy, how tender you are," she says sadly as he snuggles against her legs.
"Poor thing," she thought-bubbles, "you're going to be left without a million dollars and will never see me again."
Struck by inspiration, she asks if he'd like to sleep together. He jumps to his feet and asks if she's serious. He eagerly begins kissing up her arm, but stops when he reaches her face. "Better not," he says. "We want to have a baby, remember? We can't disregard the treatment like we did last time. I love you, and I'm going to go on sacrificing myself for our family...
"Although...," he adds, looking at her thoughtfully.
He jumps on top of her. She looks up at him with an expression of... what.. Fear?
Excitement?
Dare I say... anticipation?
Tomas kisses her other arm and runs out of the room. "See you tomorrow, chiquita."
Staring at the closed door, Alicia seems strangely ambivalent.
Flavor of Life, Take Two
It's the grand reopening of The Flavor of Life. Ah, I see what the "godfather" does at a restaurant launch... Fern's holding a pair of scissors and is standing in front of a big ribbon at the restaurant entrance. Fern charms the crowd just by being himself, cuts the ribbon, makes a tiny speech about wanting the place to be a success, then opens a champagne bottle. Just as he is about to call out the chef by name, Aldo interrupts - probably worried about being called "Domensolin" or worse - and Fern asks him not to cut off his inspiration. Fern says "The Flavor of Life - that's not too pretentious of a name." (This didn't sound snotty when Fern said it.) He pours out the champagne and leads them in a toast.
Last words
Fernando is in bed with his diary and saying that he's only thinking about Lety's happiness; he doesn't matter. But he feels so lost. He's sad that he and Lety will never write their love story in the diary together. He says it was dumb of him that day to let Lety be free to sort out her feelings, to find out whether she was in love with him or with Aldo. He would have sworn that he and Lety would have ended up together, but it went the opposite way. She truly loves Aldo, and Fern believes that Aldo deserves her love.
He closes the diary. (If he had a pen, I didn't see it; maybe it's one of those magic diaries that write when you speak to them.) Tears roll neatly down his cheeks.
Meanwhile, Aldo is still at the restaurant, recalling Fern's wish that Lety be happy at Aldo's side. Aldo says the final word hasn't been said yet.
No, there's still no official word as to when the gran finale will be, nor whether it will be in a three-hour block or six half-hours or three full hours or what. I promise we'll post something as soon as we know.

“plus, I see a wide belt, and I think we agreed that we don't like those.” ROTFL! Yes, we did.
“Waxing philosophical, he challenges Lety to live up to her new look. Lety looks unsure.” Well, we know for sure it’s still Lety if she’s unsure.
“Aldo thanks him ……. Thus is the strange phenomenon of male bonding.” It sure was. I don’t think I’ve seen any faster 180 turnabout in television history. Very awkward for a viewer who expects them to choke each other. Do guys really do that (not choke, bond this fast)?
Alicia is just plain bizarre. How can she look through Tomy’s desk, office, wallet, etc. and not realize she has a pretty darn good deal with virtually unconditional love here? What’s happened to this chick to make her so dense (well, I suppose she was probably born dense)?
RoboPop finally responded the way he should, with pride and love. His reaction to Julieta’s makeover was even better than it was to Lety’s.
“Wheeee, there's Celso! Now my evening is complete. :-) “ A Celso fan, huh? Are you rooting for him to be Octavio? Or are you just rooting to wake up and find him in your living room?
“Fern says "The Flavor of Life - that's not too pretentious of a name." (This didn't sound snotty when Fern said it.” ROTFL! At least not this time, it didn’t!

I am so very incredibly sick of Alicia, I'd even watch hours of the cuartel over her! Well... maybe not, but I'd at least consider it! Screech!!!!! Someone slam her a** behind bars so we don't have to watch her any more, please!!!
Excellent recap, as always. Thanks!!!

(again, thanks you all again)
I like new Lety, she looks so much more real than Aurora. Aurora was too devine, untouchable and glamorous. And now we have next door girl with the charm. May be the hair color is different to emphasize the difference between old Lety and the new one. May be the lighter color considered "higher level" in Mexico, I don't know. I think darker would be better but - we all get used to it!
Fernando was fabulous! I can't get enough of him!
And after Aldo said that this is not the last word - I almost started to like him.
May be can see the and of Alcia finally - she is getting on my nerves! ( but Patty Navidad doing a great job getting me there - very good actress)
Eve
Yes, ultra-quick male bonding, although I must say, guys seem to get over their spats faster than we women do...so at that to telenovela time warp getting the the grande finale speed and I guess it makes sense.
Hanging in there to the end and hoping for more tee-shirt scenes with Don Fernando tan divino!
Judy B.
Angelica Vale is really beautiful, but television requires certain lighting & makeup to bring out her true beauty.
Men do get over things quicker and Fernando was so sincere when he told Aldo that Lety's happiness was with Aldo. Who would argue with those big brown eyes?
Lori
Didn't Fernando look cute sitting on the bed in his white tee shirt with the diary? I'd like a poster of that for my bedroom!!!!!!!!!
I like feuding Fern and Aldo much better than shake hands and be buddies Fern and Aldo.
I know from 25 years with my husband that men definitely do get over spats quicker than women! It doesn't make sense to me but it seems to be how they are made. Multiply that by telenovela super speed and it makes my head spin.
Cybil Lety indeed! That describes her to a tee. I'm afraid she will be a bobble head to the very end!
Carrie L.
I'm beginning to think Alicia is delusional or otherwise psychotic, which is quite sad. I don't know what to make of it.
Lety is still doing those tics and goofy tooth-baring giggles with the new look, but then she catches herself. That's what she really needs to do--remember to act grown up.
And news flash: My friend at Univision just e-mailed me: there is a three-hour finale on June 25 from 7-10 Eastern Time.
Pitzie, I'm 55-ish (well okay, under 24 hours of 56-ish) and I think Jacques is more like 65ish. Or else he's a darn old-looking 55 compared to all my colleagues in my office who are 56 and 57. For what it's worth, I think he's creepy. He's got a mean streak. I hope Marcia's admirer isn't Jacques but I'm afraid you might be right. (My hubby is 71 and he acts younger than Jacques, and most people can't believe he is that old). The part that would make sense about it is that he's seen Lety play two people, so sending someone else's photo would occur to him. Or, it could be photo of him as a younger person before he got a makeover as an adult. But, Jacques, ick.

Lori - Aldo also turned Alicia down but I imagine to do so makes Tomas more attractive.
All - Did I miss something? Is Alicia pregnant already or not?
This may be just my wishful thinking but my hope of course is that Aldo's "last word" means a plan to get Lety back with Fern...
Can't believe that after following this show faithfully for more than a year (even though I never took Spanish, it's helping me learn it), that the fun is almost over! I'm depressed already!
I can't thank all of you Recappers enough for sharing the fun! I will miss you all!

"the last word hadn't been spoken." I guess we'll find out soon enough. So the finale is on the 25th. Will do. Thanks for the wonderful recap.
food for thought. All through La Fea most of us got very upset when things were not going wel between lety and fern; now she appears ready to run t aldos arms and surely there will be a romantic kiss. Let's face it. They are engaged and they only kissed twice. Once recent and once in Alcopulco when she was there with cara. Both times she pulled away because she was thinking of fern. So she is due for a romantic kiss, NO???? ths would tear me apart. Even her going to him or him coming back to conceptos to be with her. to me it is heart wrenching, yet no one is really seeming that concerned??

From the beginning I think Aldo has sort of liked Fern and would have been friendlier to him if Lety wasn't standing in the middle. He also respects Fern keeping his promise so the male bonding didn't bother me too much. I did however LOVE it when Fern busted Carmina over her lie and her chances with Aldo flew out the door. He was obviously not pleased. Take that SG B**ch!
I though Alicia looked like she had some serious reservations about what she is about to do. It will be interesting to see if she repents and stays with Tomy. She may be as thick as a brick but she has to know he is the only person in the world who has ever really loved her.
Yuck on those wide belts but otherwise the New Lety looked young, happy and not overdone. Now it will be fun to see how both Fern and Aldo react to the new her.
Someone mentioned the light hair and being more upper class in Mexico. Unfortunately the lighter you are, the more European looking the more high class you are considered. Once you watch novelas for a while you see an unfortunate number of actresses bleaching and dying their hair lighter and while some of them look good they do not look as beautiful as they did before trying to hide their ethnicity. I can think of only a couple of lead actresses who do not try to Europeanize themselves. Oddly enough there doesn't seem to be a problem with the men so you have galans that are clearly ethnic looking like Jamie, Colunga. Gattorno and Santamarina as well as the more European looking ones like Juan, Guy Ecker and, Sebastian Rulli.
Being from an older generation, I remember that two of the most prominent and beautiful Mexican actresses of the 1940's and 50's were dark haired: Maria Felix and Dolores Del Rio. (Sorry - don't know how to do that Wikipedia link thing).
These fair-haired actresses of today are a recent phenomena.
I am so going to miss the carrying-ons of LFMB.
BTW - I think that if Alicia doesn't get a clue soon, she will be spending some time in the "Big House" for embezzlement.
Will there be any LFMB next week (Jun 18-22)? There are only about 3 hours of story left, I think (i.e., the grand finale episode).
Thanks again to all the wonderful recappers, Blog Mama Melinama, and those of you who share your comments and insights.
PS - When will the Cristina show with LFMB cast be broadcast???
Nope I just checked my DVR and it is set to record each 1/2 hour episode all next week. I have Cox cable.
Thank heaven it doesn't apply to most men or we wouldn't be drooling over JC as I speak.

I missed some shows early on and had some other questions maybe you or the others could help me with:
- Did we ever see the Marcia throwing the bouquet in the ocean scene or the Fernando in white with curly hair running down the sidewalk after Lety in white scene in an actual show or were these only in the old opening sequence?
- There were references in an earlier day's comment to Fern and Omar serenading Caro. When did this happen?
- Anyone know about how much of the Mexican version is cut from what we see in each show? Is it a set # of minutes from each show or just scenes that they think wouldn't go over well in the US or just most (not all unfortunately) of the internal product placement commercials?
Thanks again!
LAURA
About your DVR, maybe there is no more disk space. You may have to erase something. I and recording the episodes on DVD's and not on my DVR.
And about the european looking actresses, it is true. My Latina co-workers ooh & aah over blue eyes. When someone has a baby and it has blue eyes, they just love it. There is one very popular Mexican singer named Kalimba. He is Afro/Mexican. As a matter of fact I ordered his CD from Amazon. He sings in both English & Spanish. You can find him on YouTube in a concert with Ha-Ash.
I love his music.
With America's standards shifting, that actresses of mixed race like Halle Berry being held up as among the most beautiful, you would think that Mexico and other Latin countries would get a clue and stop emulating the European "pure" Spanish or white American look as being the most coveted. And yup, I like the looks of many of the women playing maids, or lower class people, simply because they look real. Often, they are better actresses too.
Therefore, count me in as one who also would have liked to seen the new Lety with a variation of her real hair.
They could have played her as more naturally beautiful by losing some of the extreme faces she made, as a transformation wrought by her confidence.
I also think it was a mistake in the original series, that Lety didn't become more empowered and confident toward the end, instead of all wishy washy over romance issues, as if all women, no matter how intelligent or capable, in the end are subject to their main purpose in life of undergoing makeovers to please men. Sure, everyone wants to love and be loved, by someone who can remain faithful but...
Of course, the delightfully original aspect to this story is that Fern fell for her, BEFORE the makeover, while at first thinking of her as more or less a joke.
Esther
1. Negatory on Marcia throwing the bouquet. Marcia hasn't gotten married on this show. Neither has Caro (for those who thought that was Caro throwing the bouquet). I think that whole opening credits thing was just meant to taunt and tantalize.
2. I've never seen Fern and Omar serenade Caro, but it's possible that this happened before I started watching, when they were trying to get her to do a job for Conceptos and she was reluctant.
3. People who actually watched the show as it aired in Mexico can surely answer this question better than I, but I suspect the amount that was cut from the Mexican episodes probably varies from episode to episode. I think someone once mentioned that occasionally, our episodes got beefed up a bit with filler footage (like more cuartel crap) that hadn't aired in Mexico. Like maybe they would cut out a product placement ad for the US audience but then replace it with a dumb cuartel scene.
This kind of editing is probably a nuisance and so I doubt that they would have done it any more often than absolutely necessary... which means probably not for every episode (or even most episodes).
Fernando can carry a suit & tie better than no other. I didn't like the outfit he wore at the airport when he was going to N.Y.C. either. But at least in real life Jaime dresses really well. Fernando can carry a white shirt & grey pj pants like no other as well.
Esther
Fern looks better in a suit than anyone I have seen. Of course he also looks better in a white tee than anyone else either!

I am so disgusted with Alicia - we all know she's self-absorbed - but taking money that could literally unemploy everyone in the only "family" she has is just disgusting. I don't care what kind of pain she's had in her past. And, Tomas doesn't deserve it either even though he's been kind of stupid and thinking with "Little Tomas" instead of his brain.
Lisa from Palos Verdes - is that PV in Calif.? If so, I live close by in Long Beach and work in Torrance. Small world.
I'm already going thru with
Fernie withdrawls - like I've posted before, last summer he got me thru some bad times, truly.
I guess every good thing must come to an end. Que lastima
!!!! Sandy
Lety's new look is obviously something pushed by Mexican trends, and yes, the caste system still exists regarding skin/hair color. If Dr. Mengele eye- injections-to-turn brown-eyes-blue treatment comes out, I'm sure wealthy Mexicans will be lining up to get it, for those who are unhappy wearing color-change contacts.

I don't know about all of you recappers and commenters, but I'd be kind of offended if my makeover team required blue prints to get my new look off the ground. ha ha
Check this out and if you don't just die laughing at the pencil bit I'll be surprised. It makes me cry every time I see it.

Jaime does look great in his suits and I love the cufflinks. As for the sweater, I just thought it was too busy, with those swirly designs on the shoulders. So, any theories about the motorcycles in the preview? I also noticed there was a guy with a gun and it looked like he had a badge. Maybe he is going to arrest Alicia? Maybe Lety will be kidnapped by a real stalker? Someone who is obsessed with Aurora from the TV show?
I could see this happening. They do a damsel in distress thing and this makes Lety realize who her true love is. This is pure speculation on my part.
Teresa
As for the guy with the gun and the badge - good, I can still hold out hope that Ariel will get busted for some previously unknown, hideous crime. :)
The link has been posted in the comments before, but it contains some material that until recently, could have been considered spoilers. By now, we've seen everything in it, so there aren't any spoilers anymore.
Highlights include Angelica getting her eyebrows drawn on for the last time, and Juan Soler getting distracted by his child's happy off-camera babbling. :)
And don't tell your friend that she looks good if she looks like a "sleazebag"! Give her some constructive criticism instead...it's called "tough love"! :)

An anonymous poster referred to “Jaime who tends toward the feminine side” on Friday. I found that very interesting since my first impression of Fernando/Jaime (when I started watching La Fea, unfortunately only after Destilando Amor began) was exactly the same. At that time, after reading a synopsis of the show, I could not understand how most of those posting comments seemed to be so taken with Fern/Jaime when he had treated Lety badly in the beginning, in addition to my impression of his not being terribly manly.
I must now confess, after only a few months of watching La Fea, I GET IT. I find Fernando/Jaime adorable and so very sexy. I love watching he and Lety together, and although I also find Aldo attractive, I’m completely pulling for Fern. And although I wasn’t that in to La Fea when I started, I’m now mourning the imminent end of the show with you!
I thought I would pass this impression on so that maybe more of you will hang in there for Juan Querendon and see if the show and Juan grow on you. It’s amazing how impressions change! Each show I’ve become involved in watching has had a different hold on me.
Again, thanks so much for the fantastic, humorous work of the recappers.
I just LOVED when Alicia dropped the phone, picked it up, and asked the airline person if he/she was okay... what a hoot!
I want Fernando's black Acapulco sweater! ...Preferrably with his cologne still on it.
It seemed in the blooper that the dog trainer was calling the dog "Moty". I suppose it is the dog's real name?
I agree that choosing a new hair color should be fun and everyone is free to choose any color they like.
The sad part is when you've played with hair colors most of your life (like me),and then suddenly when the gray starts to come in you don't feel it's always an option anymore.
I would like to go back to the "good old days" with dark hair, unfortunately the dark hair just isn't there anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!
Carrie L.
We owe all of the recappers a huge debt of thanks.
A Gringo in Florida
I never meant to say that Lety/Angelica looks awful with that hair color, but I know for a fact that there are other colors that suit her better. It looked as though there had been a product placement ad for Garnier Nutrisse, so of course they wanted to go for something "vivid" and different. (It least it wasn't Darth Bozo Red.)
I've had just about every hair color there is, now, but at the moment I'm trying to let the regular color grow in, gray and all. Eventually I'll get sick of that and go for an "unnatural" look again, but right now my own color is freaking me out enough. Hadn't seen it in a while, didn't recognize it right away when it started growing back. :)
Have to laugh over your hair comment. When my in-laws met me I had one of my red hair versions going and had had for about 10 years. Due to a miscommunication with my hair dresser I once ended up back to my natural brown hair. The next time in I had him change it back to red only to have my mother in law tell me, thank heaven you are back to your natural red. That brown looked awful. I laughed my head off and told her the brown my real color so now you see why I changed it.
Rings on her fingers and bells on her toes, just how stupid is she...
no one really knows.
Alicia if you have to travel some place, go to see the wizard to get a brain.
