TELEMUNDO Y MÁS (#1): Cennet, Todo Por Mi Hija, Enemigo Íntimo 2, y más: Week of August 31, 2020
Here are the current evening telenovelas (all times are Eastern Daylight Time):

• 9-10PM—Todo Por Mi Hija**
• 10-11PM—Enemigo Íntimo 2**
**On Monday, Cennet ends with a 2-hour finale, from 9-11 PM, As a result, Enemigo Íntimo 2 will not be seen on Monday. On Tuesday, a new Turkish novela, Todo Por Mi Hija, begins in the 9 PM slot Enemigo Íntimo 2 will be shown at 10, as usual..
Todo Por Mi Hija centers around Oyku, an intelligent and sensitive eight-year-old girl who is raised by her aunt. However, the woman abandons her and only leaves her a letter with the address of Demir Goctúrk, her father whom she never knew. The father is a criminal, a con man with very few skills, but a natural talent for getting into trouble. He never found out that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant with Oyku when they broke up. Despite being very irresponsible, Demir agrees to take care of his daughter in order not to go to prison. (That's all I know for now.)

Here's Page 2 for the week. The current evening telenovelas are as follows (all times are Eastern Daylight Time):

**I have no additional info about show times for this Thursday. According to Telemundo, Cennet will start at 8:54 PM, and at 9:54 PM there will be a program entitled Decisión 2020. Presumably, this is when Trump will give his acceptance speech to the virtual convention. However, according to Zap2It (set to PDT), Decisión 2020 will run from 6:54-8 PM, Exatlón will run from 8-10 PM, and Cennet will run from 10-11 PM. On the East Coast, Telemundo's times are probably correct. Normally, Telemundo's times also work for the West Coast, but last Thursday, Cennet did not begin until 10:30 PM! No one listed that correctly. The same thing may or may not happen this week. The only thing Telemundo and Zap2It agree on is that Enemigo Íntimo 2 will not be shown on Thursday. Everything returns to normal on Friday.

Here are the current evening telenovelas (all times are Eastern Daylight Time):

**It looks as if this week there may be an information screwup similar to the one we experienced last week regarding Thursday's schedule. Telemundo and Zap2It again offer conflicting information. According to Telemundo, on Thursday Cennet will start at 8:54 PM, and at 9:54 PM there will be a program entitled Decisión 2020. Presumably, this is when Trump will give his acceptance speech to the virtual convention. However, according to Zap2It (set to PDT), Decisión 2020 will run from 6:54-8 PM, Exatlón will run from 8-10 PM, and Cennet will run from 10-11 PM. Last week, neither Telemundo nor Zap2It was completely correct. On the East Coast, apparently Telemundo's times were correct. Normally, those times also work for the West Coast, but on Thursday, Cennet did not begin until 10:30 PM! No one listed that correctly. The same thing may or may not happen this week. The only thing Telemundo and Zap2It agree on is that Enemigo Íntimo 2 will not be shown on Thursday. Everything returns to normal on Friday.

WEEKEND DISCUSSION, Aug. 20, 2020: AS THE STOMACH TURNS…
Nope, not talking about food, but it could pertain to how we feel about the food we just ate after we see some of the villains in our gone but not forgotten TNs. Yes, yes, yes, we have already talked about the worst villains, but in this discussion page, I want you to dig into your memory cells and think of those villains, not necessarily the main antagonist, but those supporting characters who are despicable, disgusting, and nauseating just at the mention of their names, For me, the first that come to mind happens to be a pair of low-down, conniving, nefarious, diablos who did nothing but relish in making the protag’s life miserable. I’m talking about “La Toña” (Claudia Ríos) and Fausto (Mike Biaggio) in La Doble Vida de Estella Carrillo.
